I'm mature, financially secure, reliable, quiet, friendly, private, never taken drugs, rarely drink. I have respect for others, love animals, perfect rental history.
I am working full time as an IT Consultant. Work keeps me fairly busy during the week, so I enjoy getting out and about in the sun and the water, explore new places and travel when I can on the weekend. Quiet nights in are good too, I enjoy a glass of wine and a chat after a long work day but I respect everyone privacy.
I compliment an easy-going housemate dynamic. for the past 18 months I've shared a great home with 2 amazing guys but it's time to look ahead and find someplace new. I am quite content with my own company and have interests from social dancing to cooking fresh food, to binging on movies and occasionally getting out & reconnecting with nature in the great outdoors. I love having people's company but I also enjoy just chilling out and keeping it pretty low-key. I value respectful co-living habits but pretty much get along by being relaxed, funny (occasionally) and being open-minded. I should add that my preference would be living in a non smoking household.
Hi All, My name is Reece, I'm 27 and looking for a new place in Brisbane. I just finished living in London for 2 years and moving back to Brisbane. At the moment I'm most likely looking for shorter term accommodation as I'm also still looking for work. However for the moment just being close to some kind of public transport will be fine. I've also got enough savings to pay rent until starting work. I like going to see concerts, hanging with friends and hiking in the outside world and generally playing games/binge watching shows when I'm home. I've been living in shared accom for the last 2.5 years so I'm used to keeping tiding and living with a group of people. Preferably looking for something furnished or just with a bed at minimum and internet connection would be great too! Move in date also flexible Cheers!
I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. Not looking for a hectic, late-night household as I need all the beauty sleep I can find. Preferably not smokers either. Couples and pets are most welcome. I you've any queries of me be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).
‼️LOOKING FOR SOMETHING AVAILABLE FOR JUNE!‼️ Hey my names Emma, I'm 20 and have lived by myself sinceI was 17 but as I'm home so little, I don't see the need for a place of my own and decided to move out into a share house or get a flat mate when my lease ends in June. I am clean and quiet, I work 5 days a week so I am out of the house from 8-5 everyday, and then at gym until 8 most nights. I go out maybe every few weekends but I am respectful and quiet I don't ask for much but I do like my space, I also love a good chat, but I cherish my alone time as you can tell I don't get much. I don't have many people over and if I would, it would be friend on the weekend and maybe a weeknight here and there, or a couple friends every now and then. But just because I like my alone time doesn't mean I'm not open to making a new friend and, I love to have a good laugh and hang out sometimes! I do have a cat named Cleo, she is really sweet but does what she likes mostly and that is being outside during the day, and coming in to eat and sleep at night lol. She's fully toilet trained, flea treated often and very beautifully natured. Don't be afraid to send me through a message if this interests you :)
__Leased a place till 06/2017__ So we have a month to sort out our next location and ready to stay for longer at current one to get the place we would be able to call home. We are a working full-time couple in mid 30-40. No kids, no pets, not much stuff, non-smokers. Considerate, quiet, clean and tidy people looking for a QUIET and PEACEFUL corner (en-suite/granny flat/studio). Capitalized parameters are really important. Sleep is sacred for us. No people with drinking / smoking / attitude / personal space infringement problems please. I cook 2-3 times a week European style food (that means without suffocating the whole house with garlic or spices) with instant kitchen cleaning after the process; and we hope to find a place where the fresh air and clean living space are valued :) We need a place quite close to public transport as we don't have a car (no parking needed). Wouldn't mind spayed cats around. Ideally would like to team-up with another couple with the same values. The budget is slightly stretchable depending on the location, furnishing and bills.
Hello ! I work and study part time. I'm an outdoorsy , christian, calm and very serious person . Non smoking . Not into wild parties. I love to cook, horse ride and travel . I enjoy drinking wine and entertaining for small groups . I'm looking for a room to rent with a female . I'm moving to Brisbane mid June from Perth . Please contact me if interested .
Hi! I'm looking to find a great new share house. I had great success finding cool house mates the first time I tried this in 2014 and am hoping to strike lucky again. A little about me - My name is Leighann and I'm a 26y/o female. I'm currently working full-time hours across two jobs (retail and barista). I finished a degree in Education last year and am interested in community work, so am currently looking for more long-term work in those areas. I'm interested in travel (lived in Canada for 18-months recently) and the outdoors, and am always up for a new adventure. I'm an ambivert and enjoy both having some alone time to chill and unwind as well as hanging out with housemates and having a chat or doing something fun. I am very respectful of other's space but also enjoy having a friendly household vibe and hanging out with housemates, having a drink, playing board games or just watching some terrible reality television and hating ourselves afterwards for it. I'm not looking for a non-stop party house but I'm also not looking for a 'bedtime at 8:30pm, including weekend' type of house. A quieter weekday vibe and more energetic weekend one would be perfect. I'd ideally like to live with people similar to myself, who respect hermit-time but enjoy hanging out and being social, are relaxed and are up to try something new. I'm well house-trained and would expect my housemates to be, too. I'm respectful but relaxed about myself/housemates having friends over (aka not a nazi but would like some notice of a big gatho). I do have a partner (who is also very respectful) and would like to live somewhere where I don't get the side-eye for having him over a couple times a week to chill out and cook or binge on a tv-show. In return, I promise not to side-eye you for exploring your right as an adult to respectfully enjoy your free-time as you see fit! I would be looking for a room for anywhere from a minimum of 6 months until up to February 2018. Would prefer a room about 150-160 p/w, but prepared to spend up to 180 p/w on the right place! The right household vibe is the most important thing to me. If this sounds like you/your household, I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Leighann
Looking for a unfurnished granny flat for myself and inside cat. I am quiet, trustworthy and reliable to pay rent and expenses on time. In my spare time I work on films and watching movies. I am currently looking on the Northside of Brisbane. I have references if required.
I am looking for a room to rent or a team up for new share housing - I come with furniture that is newly purchased so I would rather not part with that. The current unit I live in is being sold and we need to vacate the premises by the 24th of April, which may have flexibility prior to that. I work full time as a personal trainer. I am an easy going person who enjoys quiet time out at home but also getting out and about to the beach / catching up with friends and occasionally a few wines at home ... but not a loud party animal. I am tidy and respectful to housemates and I like the same in return :)
Currently studying a masters in applied finance, working fulltime in the city. Have a 4 year old Husky called Luca, he's docile and chill, doesnt destroy stuff or make a mess. Moving because current housemates are messy and I didn't sign up for having to clean up after two adults. In my spare time I hit the gym, mainly powerlifting stuff, work on motorbikes/cars and walk my dog. - Curtis
Heyhey, I'm an active 30y.o looking for a place to call home. Moved up to sunny QLD 1year ago from Victoria & am loving the relaxed vibe up here. I'm an easy going, neat, happy housemate who has plenty of experience in share houses. Looking forward to meeting you :)
Hey guys, My name is Kyle and I work as a dentist in Kedron. I grew up in America and came to Australia 7 years ago. I consider myself very quiet at home. I'm looking for a roommate who is responsible and quiet.
Easy Going, clean and tidy makeup artist. I just got a job in chermside and currently living on the Gold Coast so needing to make a move. I love to socialize but am also respectful of privacy and am a room dweller.
Our combined budget would be around $400 per week + whatever you are willing to contribute to get the total per week rent. Two friends currently living in an apartment but wanting to move to a house. Easiest way to do that is to find a third person. We both work full time in and around the city. Monday to Friday. Someone similar would be good but not required. Couple of chilled and friendly guys looking for another guy or girl to get a 3+ bedroom house for a long run.
Hey! I'm Edward. Currently doing my bachelor's degree at QUT, Gardens Point. Huge movie buff and love spending time watching classic movies relentlessly. Self-proclaimed armchair movie critic. Nah, jk. Enjoy experimenting with food but don't worry you won't need an extinguisher! Oh btw, I'm a tad germophobic and hypochondriac.
Hi :) I'm Madeleine, a 27 year-old Registered Nurse, looking for a place to share with a few easy going & friendly housemates. I'm both house-trained and easy to live with, and like a healthy balance between having a chat with my fellow housemates and respecting eachother's space and privacy. Let me know if the above sounds like what you're after too :) Thanks! Madeleine
I HAVE TWO BURMESE CATS - who are every everything to me. I am looking for somewhere to call home for about 6 months. I work full time in emergency services, work long hours and therefore looking for somewhere fairly quiet. Friendly down to earth and easy going. I am clean and tidy and a non smoker (cannot live with smokers).
Clean, respectful and easy going. note- 6 months is selected as a minimal time frame :)
Just moved here from Europe, I'm still in a settling phase lol. I started my lectures on 10/4, I hope to find a place as quickly as possible so that I have a point for reference to get around and get to know the city. I'm a gay guy, vegetarian. Just keen on living the Aussie life I always wanted. I can go out and party but I'm a hermit at times, all depends on the mood and the people. I am a huge fan of social media and my list of favourite TV shows is never ending. Ideal Friday night is just a bottle of wine and good company. Trying to cut down/quit smoking but that's as bad as I get really. Main interests are animals, anything Aussie, cute boys haha, fashion, photography, just diversity as far as people go and yoga! I really want to get into it so if you're up for being my yoga buddy I love you already! I would just love a diverse household I could call a home, not just a temporary stay, someone that would explore this city and experience all it has to offer, wether you're a foreigner or a native!
I live a very active lifestyle. Very keen to socialize and meet new people in my downtime. I like to be tidy but I am not a neat freak. Very easy going and happy-go-lucky. Looking to move into somewhere for a minimum of six months.
Looking for 1 to 2 easy going people to start a new share house with. I work part time for a cancer clinic at the Wesley hospital and am studying full time at ACU. Yes, I work part time but rent is always paid on time and often in advance. My current lease ends mid July, but am looking to move early to mid July whilst on uni holidays. A little about me, I'm 24, easy going and always down to go with the flow, social when i find the time, enjoy a wine/beer with dinner and lazy couch hangs with housemate/s but am 100% all for personal space and often will hide out in my room to study or catch up on sleep. Occasionally my parents/siblings/friends from up north will visit but its always pre-warned. Would be looking to rent a unit, townhouse or house (given there isnt a high level of yard maintenance) but if you have a dog then i'm all for a yard! I'm a dog person and not a cat person. Sorry but allergies to cats are real! Feel free to flick through a message or text. Would love to catch up over coffee or a drink first to make sure the household wouldnt be weird as shit & that we're on the same page. Cheers, Hannah. :)
I work full-time and also study at university (6 months left until I graduate). I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Feel free to chill in your room or join me in watching a TV show, I don't mind! If any of us want to have friends over for a drink etc. every now and then, the only rule is you must save your housemate(s) a drink! I'm a pretty clean/tidy individual, and I won't chuck a tantrum if you forget to do the dishes one night. I don't smoke either. If we can keep everything reasonably clean and pay the rent on time, we will get along fine!
Hi I'm Abraham (Abe), I'm a 24 year old male and have just accepted a full time Sales Representative Job on the Brisbane Northside. I am looking to find a room with an ensuite (am willing to share a bathroom if need be) and garage space preferably in the Windsor/Lutwyche area and surrounds. I am very clean and tidy, easy going, quiet, mature, respectful of other people's space. I work 5 days a week and will be traveling away for work regularly. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and riding my motorcycles. I am not a party animal but do enjoy a few quiet drinks every now and then on a weekend. I own two motorcycles so I in need of a house with a lockup storage space. If I sound suitable feel free to contact me anytime Thanks for taking the time to read my ad, I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi my name is Dre and I'm a part time Retail manager, Full time student. Looking for a place while I finish my university course. Preferably around decent public transport as my car just recently broke down. I like to relax with a bit of reading and music, and I spend most of my time either at work or uni. I am very clean and a little organised, I manage my money well and try to be professional in all that I do.
Hi people! I'm a 27 year-old uni student at UQ majoring in journalism who is looking for socially like-minded, drama-free housemates around my age. You'll find me to be someone who has their life together where I have clear goals and aspirations while working to achieve them. I'm also a producer and reporter, I do CrossFit and morning runs in my downtime, very passionate, ambitious and reliable but most of all fun to be around over a beer, buffalo wild wings and a karaoke machine! Oh, I'm also well travelled having lived independently between New York and Washington DC for a year and I'd like to think I'm good at home cooking ... just look at Karl Stefanovic! If you think we'd get along nicely, not just as housemates but also potential friends, then swing me a message. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Chris
Hey! :) I'm looking at moving into a place at the end of the semester - however I am flexible on move in dates. I am a full time law student at QUT. If I'm not at home, i'm most likely at uni or hanging out with friends. I'm pretty chilled out and respectful of peoples privacy but also have no worries having a chat and a beer in the evenings. I'm not looking for a party house, just somewhere I can get some study done but also unwind to some netflix and a chat over a drink or two. I'm happy to pull my sleeves up and clean around the house and help out with any other house chores like mowing the lawn etc :) I would ideally like a room big enough for my double bed, desk and to already have a built in wardrobe.
