Favourite festival "Soundwave" and "BDO (before Kayne)"... Just started my Masters of Philosophy with QUT at IHBI, so I have no time to be annoying, unless you make me, and i am happy to get as good as I give ;-) Must love music, good food and fine wine. for the record if its on nova or hits105 and under 20yrs old....its not good! JJJ has died so I only listen to 4ZZZ or crap I find online.
My girlfriend and I are looking for somewhere to live for the next 3 months. We are looking for people who are around our age and okay with smoking.
Hey my names Emma, I'm 20 and have lived by myself since I was 17. Proving to become too expensive for what I want to do, I've decided to move out into a share house or get a flat mate. I am clean and quiet, I work 5 days a week so I am out of the house from 8-5 everyday, and then at gym until 8 most nights or out on the weekends with my partner. I don't ask for much but I do like my space, I also love a good chat, but I cherish my alone time as you can tell I don't get much. I don't have many people over and if I would, it would be my boyfriend on the weekend and maybe a weeknight here and there, or a couple friends every now and then. I do have a cat named Cleopatra, true to her name she's a diva, so she does what she likes mostly and that is being outside during the day, and coming in to eat and sleep at night lol. She's fully toilet trained, flea treated often and very beautifully natured. Don't be afraid to send me through a message if this interests you :)
Hiya I'm Chantelle, 28 and have a little fur baby named bear! Looking for a room/granny flat/1bedroom, anything really for my #1 boy and myself. I work 6 days a week, Monday - Saturday and i work in Real Estate, I tend to be quiet once i get home from work and just relax. I'm friendly, fun, like to make jokes. But also a clean and respectful person. My dog is house trained, and is an inside/outside dog that doesn't shed any fur, he mainly just follows me around :)
I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. Not looking for a hectic, late-night household as I need all the beauty sleep I can find. Preferably not smokers either. Couples and pets are most welcome. I you've any queries of me be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).
Hello, future flatmate! What I'm looking for: - No more than one person OR a couple. - En-suite room - Fast, reliable internet. -Clean, friendly, mature housemate(s). - Aircon - Zone 1 (Translink Zone 2017) About Me: I graduated from QUT with a Masters degree in IT Security last year. Unfortunately, my plan of going for a well-deserved break was halted by being offered a job before graduation. So now I get through my day planning my next great adventure :-) I work full time in a corporate environment. I like to come home to a calm and clean environment. I value my friends, privacy and comfortable living. I'm easy going, considerate, sociable, love my morning runs and bike rides (not on the same day of course). I'm looking for an alternate living arrangement since my current housemate and his partner are tieing the knot and starting a family.
Looking for a unfurnished granny flat for myself and inside cat. I am quiet, trustworthy and reliable to pay rent and expenses on time. In my spare time I work on films and watching movies. I am currently looking on the Northside of Brisbane. I have references if required.
I work full time in Childcare and mostly do early mornings. I am an active person and try to keep fit a few times a week. I am a respectful and tidy person. I am happy to either keep to myself or spend time with whoever I am share housing with. I am reliable and am a trust worthy person. I dont like to have drama in my life as I am a fairly laid back person.
I am looking for a room to rent or a team up for new share housing - I come with furniture that is newly purchased so I would rather not part with that. The current unit I live in is being sold and we need to vacate the premises by the 24th of April, which may have flexibility prior to that. I work full time as a personal trainer. I am an easy going person who enjoys quiet time out at home but also getting out and about to the beach / catching up with friends and occasionally a few wines at home ... but not a loud party animal. I am tidy and respectful to housemates and I like the same in return :)
*** Will not be in Brisbane to check out places until the 3rd of April **** Hi I'm Mac! I am an easy-going and friendly Canadian who moved permanently from Canada to Australia over two years ago. I have been living in Sydney since I have moved and I love it! But I would like to change it up a bit and see a different part of Australia, my work has given me an opportunity to transfer to Brisbane hence why I am looking for a place to rent. I will be working full time and studying part time so I will be quite a busy person, I will be moving alone so I am quite social and love to meet new people. I am a clean and respectful person but can also pretty laid back. I do not smoke but I do love the occasional social drink(s). I love video games! I have quite a few retro consoles myself, I work at a street art company so sometimes I keep to myself and I do a lot of drawing and art for extended periods of time. I'm looking to move in just after April 14th, my work is opening a new retail store in the Westfield Shopping Centre in Chermside so I would be looking for places in the surrounding suburbs. Thanks for reading!
Hey guys, My name is Kyle and I work as a dentist in Kedron. I grew up in America and came to Australia 7 years ago. I consider myself very quiet at home. I'm looking for a roommate who is responsible and quiet.
Hi :)! I'm working part-time at Chermside and studying part-time at Southbank. I'm very friendly, chilled, clean & am respectful of other people's space. If I'm not studying I'll probably be watching Netflix or with my friends/boyfriend. I tend to keep to myself but always up for a chat as well :)
Fairly easy going and have a good attitude with life. Uni student on placement for a few months. I'm socialable and happy to hang out with people while respecting space when needed.
Easy Going, clean and tidy makeup artist. I just got a job in chermside and currently living on the Gold Coast so needing to make a move. I love to socialize but am also respectful of privacy and am a room dweller.
Hi, My name is Jessinta, I am 26 and in my last semester of law at QUT and otherwise applying for grad jobs. I am friendly, respectful and clean. I don't smoke, I don't have pets or children. I enjoy socialising and having a drink every now and then or a night out but also respect and appreciate down time. I have a fridge, a couch, a washing machine and some other bits and pieces. If you think I might be a good housemate, I would love to hear from you. Kind regards, Jessinta :-)
Hello! I'm Nick, a 28 year old full-time professional looking for accommodation close to my work in Lutwyche. I am very easy going, clean and tidy and am always up for a laugh or a drink. I am fairly new to Brisbane and am keen to make new friends. I work fairly long hours and like to get out and do things on the weekend and am very respectful of people's privacy. I don't own a whole lot, so would prefer a furnished place but am more than happy to chip in for whatever your place might be lacking! Looking to move in as soon as possible, as I am currently commuting to work from the Sunshine Coast. if there is anything further you would like to know, please get in touch!
I'm an easy going person, clean and tidy. I'm quiet but also up for a social chat or drink. I'm a full time uni student studying at QUT and working part time at kmart and recently moved to the area. Excited to meet some new housemates.
Clean, tidy, quiet, mature, noise-conscious, power/water conscious, experienced in share housing, sociable yet independent, loves cooking. I like to share with people who have a wide array of life skills, awareness, responsibility, are ethical and can put themselves in other people's shoes. I'm easy to get along with and prefer to live with people who have mutual respect seeing that share housing is a mutually beneficial arrangement for both parties, and that everyone should have a happy and relaxed home environment. I'm currently studying my Masters degree for the next 12 months, so a quiet place without loud tv's, loud music, small children, construction sites right next door etc, is a must. I like to catch up with friends and family when time permits, and most of my friends and family live in the suburbs listed so they're my preferred areas with good reliable and frequent public transport. I don't have a preferred length of stay to lock myself into (particularly if the housemates end up being inflexible, power tripping, egotistical or dishonest- I have had that on a couple of occasions and try my best to weed out such places from my searching) however for the right combination of a comfortable quiet home and share suitable personalities, I would naturally consider staying on if the overall conditions made it worthwhile to do so. So I chose 6 months as a default as there was no option to type any text to explain, in there. :-) Cheers.
I'm a Beauty Therapist who loves to make people feel special. I'm clean, tidy and fairly quiet. I'm currently training for a bikini Comp so I am very disciplined with my food and my workout regimen. My little dog Princess is 13yrs old toilet trained and mostly just follows me around or sun bakes.
Just moved here from Europe, I'm still in a settling phase lol. I start my lectures on 10/4, I hope to find a place as quickly as possible so that I have a point for reference to get around and get to know the city. I'm a gay guy, vegetarian. Just keen on living the Aussie life I always wanted. I can go out and party but I'm a hermit at times, all depends on the mood and the people. I am a huge fan of social media and my list of favourite TV shows is never ending. Ideal Friday night is just a bottle of wine and good company. Trying to cut down/quit on smoking but that's as bad as I get really. Main interests are animals, anything Aussie, cute boys haha, fashion, photography, just diversity as far as people go and yoga! I really want to get into it so if you're up for being my yoga buddy I love you already! I would just love a diverse household I could call a home, not just a temporary stay, someone that would explore this city and experience all it has to offer, wether you're a foreigner or a native!
Hey! I work full time in childcare. I'm neat, tidy and clean up after myself almost straight away (dishes not left in the sink for days on end 😜) I live an active lifestyle, hiking, riding, running and therefore am in bed early to be up early before the heat and to get a full day of adventure in. I'm not a party animal although do enjoy a social wine from time to time. I also have a kelpie x who is 3 years old and loves attention from where ever he can get it! I own a stand up paddle board and a bike so storage for these would also be ideal! 😊 My lease ends in April so looking to move out into a new quieter house. Ideally sharing with only one other who's around my age or older! Look forward to meeting you! 😊
I’m a down to earth, respectful, fit and healthy, non-smoking 40yr old. I work in sales, M-F til 5pm and have weekends off. I’d like to move into a 3 bedroom house within the greater Windsor 4030 catchment area as this is where my son goes to school. I’d like to live/share a house with 1 other, male or female and preferably professional and must be a non-smoker. I enjoy going to the gym, eating healthy & nights are spent with good meal & a little Tv to relax. Weekends are quiet for me as I have my son most Saturdays & night, though we have a large home theatre and we like to watch movies. If not, some music is always good and as I have some quality equipment so is nice to turn it up every once in a while. I’m house proud, I like it to be clean. It’s not acceptable for me to live with someone who will not regularly clean bathroom/toilet and clean up after themselves. I have a little female cat, as far as cats go she’s pretty good, not moody & she loves attention but knows to go away if you’re not interested. My son Thomas lives with his mother currently and I have him for most Sat nights. This may change through the year so I will need an extra room for him which I’m happy to pay extra for but this can also be a guest’s room for when he is not with us. I have a fair share of household gear, white goods include big fridge & chest freezer, a clothes dryer also but need to buy a washing machine if you don’t have one. I have a lot of kitchen stuff, pots and pans, some glasses/cups and plates, cutlery and domestic stuff. I have 2 large single seaters & a 3 seat leather lounge all fairly recent. I don’t have a dining table. I have a large outdoor lounge. Media room, tv & home theatre. As mentioned I will need another room for my son when he comes to stay but generally this can be a guest room as long as your guests are respectful to the fact that a little boy stays in that room. If you’re interested in teaming up with me, tell me about yourself. I would like to know as much about you as you know about me. I’m looking to have somewhere secured within 6-8 weeks or by May 21. There are a lot of good houses around the Windsor area for $500-$550 so my idea would be me paying $300 and you paying $200-$250. Looking forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, James
Hey all. My name is Aaron. Professional, full time shift worker in the city/Southside. Easy going guy. Ideally I am looking for someone with a good sense of humour and is down to earth. Is relatively active and doesn't take themselves too serious. I'm relatively quiet and don't like drama but do enjoy a good chat and socialising at times. I don't smoke or have any pets. Looking for people similar to myself :)
Kiwi living in Aus Currently looking for a new place to call home :) I own a ute and a motorbike so off-street parking preferred or convenient parking I like to keep quiet during the week with work and gym with the odd outing for dinner ect. Weekend depending what's happening, not a total party animal but don't mind a few drinks time to time
Heyyy!! My lease ends in the 14th of April I'm looking to move out the weekend before. I'm looking for a large room with either an ensuite or own bathroom! I have some furniture and appliances as I've just been living on my own, so if you're missing anything let me know and we can use it, if not I'm probably just going to get rid of it :) About me - I'm a bit shy when I first meet people to start off with but it doesn't take long for me to come out of my shell. I'd love to meet some new people as I don't really know many people in Brisbane. I'm working two jobs at the moment in retail and a bar/restaurant. I'm easy going, super clean (I know what it's like to live with messy people!) and love to cook! I keep to myself mostly when I'm not working love to just watch TV shows and chill out but I also don't mind the occasional wine or two and a good laugh. :) I don't drive so good access to public transport is a must! :) If you have a pool as well that would be amazinggg!! Let me know if you have any questions :)
Full time IT worker in the city. Like sports and video games. Normally keep to myself but I do not mind having a chat and socializing. Main thing I am looking for is a place close to the train station and air-con.
