Hi, I'm a young professional working in Grange whilst studying at uni. I'm a neat, tidy and organised person who is very community and volunteer driven. I'm looking to start a share house with one other person within a reasonalble distance to work and the bus way for uni. I'm a scout leader so between work, uni and scouts there may be times where you never really see me. I also have some considerable dietary requirements so would potentially be interested in sharing the occaisonal meal but not often. (Contaminents aren't a problem with food prep) Not a fan of drugs or smoking.
About me: I am employed fulltime Mon - Fri I am very neat & tidy (bordering on OCD ha ha) I am pretty quiet and like keep to myself. I am a very considerate housemate. What I am looking for: A room with my own bathroom. Ideally I like my own living space. I would like a room to be unfurnished and have access to a T.V aerial. Air Conditioning and/or ceiling fan would be great! I would like to find a housemate who is mindful of space and privacy. And I only want to share with one other person.
My name is Rachael and I'm a 26 year old single female. I work full-time Monday to Friday as an accountant in the city and also study part-time as a distance education uni student, which keeps me busy in my spare time! I have a well-trained 8 year old Pomeranian named Lola who is used to living in rental apartments/townhouses and has lived with other dogs and cats in the past with no problems. I like to keep things neat and tidy and keep to myself mostly (due to studying), however enjoy a chat/wine every now and then! Move date is flexible and am looking for a minimum stay length of approximately six months, but happy to stay longer.
Hey! I'm Hussain, 28, currently a full-time student and also work at the airport. I enjoy new experiences, keeping fit at the gym, hiking and just being in nature. I love the occasional socializing and a drink or two every now and then. Clean, tidy and respectful. I'm also a pretty good cook ;) Ideally, I would love to be great friends with my future housemate(s) in that we get along, do things such as cook, eat, chill and hang out every now and then (no pressure haha) as opposed to being mere tenants with shared living spaces - it's not a prerequisite as i do understand we all have busy lives and varying schedules. The idea of a home rather than a house is appealing:) Preference for residences next to or at walking distances from bus/train stations and supermarkets etc.
I'm a happy Brisbane born and raised 34 year old gal looking for an inner north side place to call home. NB: If all the words below freak you out then feel free to move on, cos I'm a details girl :P I work full time in furniture and homewares sales. Have completed studies in floristry and interior design. Love an indoor plant here and there 🌱🌿 Equally happy relaxing at home (ideally on a breeze filled deck) or being a social butterfly out and about. I would not call myself a fitness person, but being on my feet all day helps keeps things in check and i'm hoping to getting back into yoga and salsa classes this year. I'm all sorted for my bedroom furniture (queen size room needed). I have the following items that I can contribute to the common areas if need be but I don't have to bring them: 3 seat sofa - dark tan leather; Small storage buffet; a few kitchen everyday basics and counter appliances. I would also be happy to purchase other furniture/homewares through my work if need be 😉 Living in a household of 2 - 4 people would be my pref, and if any partners also stay over a couple nights a week I don't mind as long as they are respectful lovely people, I'm supportive of people finding love :) A nice outlook from my room and the living area is important to me (bonus points for big trees) A large wardrobe, en-suite and off street parking is a must. Ideally... Aircon, ceiling fans and security flatscreens through out. And allllll for $240 odd a week!? That’s not asking for too much is it?! 🤣 Budget: $200 - $245 (plus bills) Move Date: Between now and April (as I could use my mums place as an inbetweener if need be) but IDEALLY the end of Jan / first week of Feb, as that would mean only 1 move which I'd prefer. Pets: I don't have any... but I love dogs of all sizes. NO CATS PLEASE... yes they're cute but unfortunately I'm allergic to them.
Work full time moving over from New Zealand to work as a territory manager. Enjoys cooking and exercise. Love to have a wine and socialise. I’m a foodie! Love finding new cafes or restaurants. I’m a nail tech aswell so you might be lucky enough for me to do your nails 😉 Looking forward to meeting like minded people. Wanting a place with a en-suite, car park and air con in bedroom.
I have a very friendly, social personality and I'm eager to meet some people who are like me :) Im 21 years old and enjoy going out and having a social lifestyle. I am quite a clean person who likes cooking and exercising frequently :) I smoke so please keep this in mind when reading my profile. Also friendly with bud. I'm looking to move in sometime around the start of February possibly around the 3rd. I would like to be in a house with people I could become good friends with although I will be studying full time and working casually so I won't be around all the time. I also enjoy some alone time so you won't get sick of me hanging around in the common areas 24/7, however I'm always keen on hanging out and having some (lots of) drinks so send me a message if you would like to know anything else or you think I'd suit your place :)
G'day. My name is Lewis and I've recently been posted to Brisbane with the Defence Force, working out of Enoggera. I'm easy going and enjoy spending time with friends and family as much as possible. I enjoy a social drink and love almost all sport. I enjoy keeping fit and healthy as much as I enjoy Netflix and online gaming. From experience (6 years), work requires me to travel away a lot and at short notice, so potentially you may not see me for weeks at a time. I'm looking for a room with an en suite or own bathroom and off street car parking. Ideally a place with my own living area would be the icing on the cake. I have enough furniture to fill a 1 bedroom apartment (which is what I had in Melbourne), fridge, washer/dryer, queen bed, dining table, etc etc I do require to be put on a official lease as this will enable me to receive rent assistance through my employment. If you need any further clarification on this, please don't hesitate to ask. Cheers.
Hey there! I'm looking to move myself and my feline companion from the Gold Coast to Brisbane in the new year for uni! I’ve been living with flatmates for almost 2 years now! I do have a cat, her name is Asha, and she’s super quiet and mainly keeps to herself, but she’s still friendly and house trained! Never had a problem with her. I would love to live with some people I can be friends with around my age. I spend a lot of my time at uni (law x criminology) , work or the gym, but I also love going to gigs and festivals in my spare time!
Hi there! I'm Zoe! I'm currently searching for a social share house with people who are down for a chat but also respect a closed door policy. I'm a student, studying a double of Psychology and Social Work and I also work part-time as a Disability Support Worker. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy to paint, listen to music, cook and drink some (cheap) scotch. Feel free to shoot me a message :)
I work full time at a uni. About to start a Masters part time. I love music, bands and nature. Not up for party house would like chilled out home. I am social and outgoing but also need time out and space. I have two lovely cats that are both indoors and outdoors. Ideally I am looking for a space that is entirely mine such as s granny flat with separate entrance and own kitchen or team up with one person for a house ! I have furniture for a small household so looking for a large living space that can accommodate my things.
Hello, My name is Nathan I'm a 23yr old male working full time but also enjoy my down time and just hanging out. If I'm not at work, at home or with friends I'll be at the beach, so someone that enjoys going to the beach we will get along swimmingly. Looking to find a house that is pet-friendly to be able to get a dog one day, hopefully you like dogs or have a dog of your own. I like to keep things clean and tidy, always pay bills on time. Move date is flexible. Send me a message and we can team up to find a place.
HEY we're Ellen and Shay, we’ve been roomies for a year now but looking to expand the family with a third edition and find a bigger place. Ellen studies business + fashion full time at QUT and works at a bottleo so can give u the hook up with a sweet 5% discount. Shay’s heading into the military late February so won’t be home as frequently. We’ve got all the basics for shared area furniture and have an existing internet plan that’s $60 a month. Just lookin 4 tha one: someone similar in age, has any level of banter and knows how to wash a dish pls Our lease ends Feb 26th but we’re happy to leave earlier if it suits/ we find a neat home.
Hi guys, german Working Holiday maker here by the name of Dirk. I'm looking for a place to stay the next couple of weeks while i work to finance the last weeks of travelling. I love having a beer with my mates, enjoy the vibes of people coming together and exploring natures beauty. Cheers!
Will move almost anywhere in Brisbane. I prefer Northside living but if I'm near a train line, it's definitely an option. I'm quite neat and tidy, not much of a party goer. My friends would say I'm funny, kind, and easy-going. I just graduated from QUT with a bachelor's degree in Justice and I'm a young professional in a law firm in Brisbane's CBD. I love to cook & bake so if you're down for homemade veg burrito bowls, sushi and stir fry's, i'm always up for shared meals. I have two pets - Deja, my cat, and Jinx, my dog. Deja lives inside (my room basically) and Jinx is an inside and outside dog. She's incredibly well trained and very friendly. I take her out to markets, the beach, and cafe's quite frequently, and she gets along with other animals and children.
Hi, we're Krystal (28) and Scott (30). We've just come back from a working holiday in Japan and are looking for a new place to live. We're friendly, quiet, clean and would love to live with people who are similar to us. Krystal is a writer with interests in language, reading, travel, music, animals and nature. Scott is an engineer who loves photography, mountain biking, and of course travelling! We both love camping, hiking, riding, swimming, kayaking and snowboarding!! We like to socialise every now and then, but quiet time is good too! We like to cook most nights, but we are good at cleaning up after ourselves :) We will probably go out to friends and families places at least once a week and will spend many weekends over summer camping and enjoying the great outdoors. We ideally would like a place with an undercover carpark for Scott to park his car.
Hi future Flatmates, My name is Bri. I am a primary teacher and currently heading into the final year of my Master, so come assignment/ reporting time I become rather quiet. I enjoy a clean and relaxing home environment. I love to chat and enjoy company while making meals but also enjoy doing my own thing. Come the weekend I like to trip to the markets and explore places I haven't been before. If you think I sound like someone who might fit in with your household feel free to message me. Bri :)
Hi, I'm Zoe. I'm a 23yo who is working casually and studying part time. I'm quiet and will usually be found studying or watching some Netflix, occasionally I might even go to gym. I like a good chat but also think me-time is essential. I also have a little furry pair called Tootsie and Nellie who are two young guinea pig girls. I keep their cage clean and smell free and they are nice and quiet. They stay outside and are easy for you to forget about! Unless you want to cuddle them.
Student from the Netherlands, I'll be doing a 6-month research internship in Brisbane and I'm looking for housing! I'm kind, clean up after myself and up for a night with housemates, but I can also be on my own. I am planning on being in Brisbane from April 2019 to September 2019.
