I study media and communications full-time at QUT Kelvin Grove and work as a casual AV technician setting up corporate events for Staging Connections. I've currently been living in the same share house for the last 3 years and two months. I know how to tidy up after myself, the importance of a friendly chat and when to give others some space. I like to cook at home as often as possible, ideally in a vegetarian household, but this isn't always possible. I would like to play more music at home and be able to set up a guitar / bass guitar in a corner of the house somewhere. I like watching the news, current affairs, documentaries and on-line TV series (I'm currently into The Handmaid's Tale). In the past I've organised a small Game Of Thrones night so we could watch the latest episode but also to bring people together. I like to do yoga in the park, meditate at home on a regular basis and usually attend a meditation centre on the weekends for group meditation.
Need a place with a place to park my car, and near Bowen hills for my work. Would like someone I can have a few drinks on the weekend with, probably on the more social side. Honestly I'm not great at writing these things.
I am a Brazilian student living in Brisbane for just over a year! I work in a restaurant and I'm going to start my chef classes soon. I like to cook, watch movies and have fun with my apartment colleagues. I am a clean and easy going person.
I'm a Personal Trainer so I'm off to work in the early hours of the morning and I work nights as well. I'm down to earth, easy to get along with and like my own down time when I can get it. I have a cute 10 month old female Rottweiler, she loves people and other animals and is well behaved. In my spare time, you'll probably find me training, spending time with friends, going out occasionally and just spending time with my dog Harley. *I've put down 6 months for the stay time but am flexible on that*
Currently working part-time at Enoggera but I'll be returning to my education studies at UQ for the second half of the year. I am definitely clean slight with OCD tenancies I can also somewhat cook and am more than willing to share! Able to bring my own furniture. Ideally I'd like a place where I'd be allowed to adopt a dog in the future but not entirely crucial currently. I'm looking for at least 6 months.
Hi I’m Sara. I’m looking for a room for my dog and I. Missy is a 4 year old shih Tzu. She’s toilet trained and can be indoors or outdoors with adequate fencing. She goes to daycare at the wolf house once a week during the day as well. I’m pretty nerdy, open minded and easy going. I like a clean home and like keeping any common areas tidy too. I split my free time between relaxing at home and taking my dog out on adventures. I work full time Monday-Friday in finance. I have a car but I’m happy to park it on the street. I enjoy chilling with a few glasses of wine after a long week with a good mix of socialisation and private time. I don’t use drugs but I have no judgement towards those that do. I’m hoping to spend the next 6 months or so saving and then I plan to road trip down the coast visiting friends with my dog. If you need a short-medium term housemate let me know :)
I am an organized person, clean, friendly and calm, I like to watch TV, movies (Netflix), to go to the movies, to travel, to walk, to talk but always respecting the limit of each person. I like to cook. I like to exchange experiences. I'm currently studying General English to improve my English.
Hi my name is David and I am looking for some where to live closer to where I work full time as a project manager. I am Respectful, Friendly, Tidy and Easy Going. I don’t really have any preferences apart from the requirement of an off street parking spot. I spend most of my time at work and at training and I will spend most of the weekend catching up with my children. If you would like to know anything else just ask, I am pretty open.
Second year nursing student at Kelvin Grove moving up to Brisbane from the Gold Coast to continue studying. Working in retail part time at Chermside. Looking for long-term accommodation somewhere in between the two. Have lived on the Coast most of my life. Friendly and enthusiastic; I enjoy good conversation and dad jokes, but hate writing bios. Tend to keep to myself at home, especially during busy phases. Please feel free to message or call anytime. Looking to move up early July. Thanks for your time!
Hiya! My landlord is planning to sell so I need to find a new place. I have all the furniture and appliances for a house so I’m hoping to find a place with someone. I work full time as an Occupational Therapist in aged care. I’m a Christian but you don’t have to share the same views as long as there is a mutual respect there! I have an indoor cat that loves people and climbing - she doesn’t love other animals though so no can do if you have a pet of your own. I love brunch, writing songs with my ukulele, road trips and nights in with a G&T and Netflix.
New to Brisbane originally from Melbourne spent the past 2 years traveling Europe. I enjoy travel and adventures. Dabble a little in photography and a big foodie. Looking for a room to share in a social house. I can cook food but I'm no chef.
HeyI I came to Australia a year and a half ago. I've been studying part-time English and working part-time as well. Actually, I'm on holidays so I spend my mornings doing some exercise, walking, reading, studying, etc. and then I have to work in the afternoons. Most of the weekends i go hiking with my friends if i don't have to work. the time that I am at home I just like to chill and watch movies, series, etc. and why not drink some beers or wine.
NOTE: Looking for something unique. I need two rooms / areas... 1. A bedroom 2. A lounge room (or large study) that I can take over. 3. Mature, professional, focused, driven Pays the rent on time Pays the bills on time Clean up after myself every day Drama free I have my own life – family, friends Doesn’t bring crazy people into the house Loves film, music, comedy I’ve been sharehousing for years, so I know how to help a house run smoothly. I’m currently working full time in the city and would ideally like a modern apartment somewhere around Albion/Nundah with air conditioning and ensuite. Flexible on moving dates. I’m interested in teaming up with another female and looking at renting somewhere. I’m easy to get along with, tidy and fairly quiet but social once I get to know someone. I do smoke however I am respectful of others who don’t. Happy to meet up for a coffee to see if living together would work!
Clean, tidy, quiet, house-broken and looking for the same. I have a sick aunt at Chermside who I spend some time with and run errands for when I can, so I prefer a place in Chermside to get around easily with that- along with the supermarket and transport all being in the same place. I'm independent and easy going. Currently doing a Master's due to finish mid 2018 and then return to full time work if all goes according to plan with some other factors. I'm friendly but also have my own schedule, priorities and responsibilities. Looking for people who don't take offence to this and aren't looking for a new bestie to hang out with on the couch every night and all weekend lol. I enjoy a meal, a chat, a movie etc when I can. Looking to move urgently at the moment as a place I had lined up unexpectedly fell through via a short text message with 24 hrs to go before moving. I'm fine to take a place long term but prefer shorter stays initially up to 6 months to get an idea if we'll suit. It really depends on the other people, what they're like to live with, considerations, etc- it's a mutual thing. :-)
I’m a package deal with a totally awesome medium to large sized doggo that loves to try get all the attention. Aside from that, I am pretty open minded, easy going and chill to live with. I can respect that we all need some quiet time and personal space so if you like to keep to yourself thats totally fine, but if you like to be a bit more social I’ll also be that friendly face you can chill out with around home or even go on adventures with. I work full time so will be gone all day throughout the week. In my free time I like to chill out around home listening to music or watching Netflix and playing with my dog. On the occasion I’ll go out to watch some live bands or to the art gallery and you can trust that I’ll navigate my way to the nearest food festival.
I would like to move in with females (maybe one male or so haha) around my age. I would like to have my own bathroom but would happily share with a female. I am clean, friendly and respectful. I work full-time and pretty long hours through the week, on the weekends i enjoy yoga, being active, catching up with friends and family. Don't mind a wine or two, however not a big clubbing or party person. I would prefer to not sign a lease however would pay a bond and be an approved tenet if required. Hoping to buy my own place towards the later part of the year or early next year.
I'm sociable and enjoy going out, but happy to keep to myself at times as well. I keep things tidy and am easy going. I'm respectful and considerate of other peoples property and space, as I hope they are of mine. I study full time and work casually as a sports trainer so I'll be out of the house a fair bit.
Hey, I'm a 21 year old Law and Business Uni Student working as a part-time Legal Secretary. I consider myself a friendly and social person, but I am also laid back and will respect your personal space. I'm very clean, responsible, and organised, so you won't have to worry about my mess lying around, I can be a bit of a neat-freak sometimes. I usually have work and uni throughout the weekdays which keeps me busy, and on weekends I usually stay over at my boyfriends place or am out with friends. Love a good wine and cheese night, or catching up over drinks/movies on the weekend with housemates, better to be friends than strangers. Looking to move in with some lovely ladies around mid year (approx. June/July) into inner-city fringe suburbs, as I would like to live closer to Work and Uni which are both in the CBD. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat and meet up if our requirements match :)
We are a very easy going family of three (myself, my wife and our 10-year-old daughter). I am in the process of transferring my current lease as my project is moving to Sydney. I am looking for a short stay during this transition. My wife is studying at TAFE and daughter is in Year 5.
I work at the airport part-time, sometimes working full-time hours so not always home. I am clean and always tidy up after myself. I'm easy going and always down for an afternoon drink or chit chat. I'm flexible with room space but would prefer the bigger room due to furniture. I referee on weekends but also like going out for a well deserved drink with mates, however won't disturb you at three am like most other party animals, I know what its like so I respect that. Looking for a good bunch of flatmates with the same level of ease and respect for the house and for each other's space.
Hey ,my name is Rebecca . Swiss background ,but been in Australia for a long time . I am very open to other people's way of life . Am very busy with my work in the community . Like to live in a friendly environment ,but understand that people need their privacy too . I like to live in a tidy home and clean up after myself .But don't care if there is a cup in the sink either . I always pay my rent and other bills on time . Have references if required ..
I’m clean, considerate of other people’s space and belongings, reliable with bills, social and love a good chat but not overwhelming and needy. I love to stay active, healthy and fit. I work long hours and keep myself busy through weekdays. Relaxation and recharging in the weeks involves physical activities but I do like to have a sleep in and chilled movie day once and a while.
Basically I’m looking start a little share house with 1-2 other people guys or girls, to move between mid July and then end of August. Probably 2-3 bed and 2 bath. I have some furniture so you’ll only need your bedroom stuff really. I’m Extremely clean and tidy. I work in retail so I love alone time but also like a good wine and chat, having friends over and watching Netflix. My idea of cooking is putting nuggets in the oven but I can make an amazing chicken pie and cookies. Would like more of a friends vibe then just housemates. Looking at places for $150 - $175 pp per week for rent. I do smoke but NEVER inside. Can’t think of anything worse then that smell getting into furniture.
Hey, I'm a full time worker and study part time. I have a small dog that keeps to herself (she's more of a cranky cat). I love to have cook up and I'm a little bit of a clean freak. I keep to myself most of the time but don't mind a chat with a drink over a meal.
