I am a happy and a quiet person, a benefit being I am very clean. I study business at QUT full time, and am quite busy, while looking for work. I am from brisbane, and I tend to enjoy going to the gym for fun, being that I am also a qualified personal trainer. I am happy with anything and quite good to be around, and I am fine to live with male or female individuals. I grew up with a big family of four sisters and two brothers. Furthermore, I also like to cook dinner from time to time. I look forward to hearing from whomever contacts me.
I'm a pretty extroverted and energetic person, who enjoys socialising, but after sharing a house here in Brissie with an introvert for the past 12 years I've learnt how and when to keep to myself and give others their space, and peace and quiet. Looking for an unfurnished, and reasonably large room with builtin wardrobe if possible (3.7m x 3.7m minimum is ideal, or 4x3 plus a study table nook etc) I work from home (as a meteorologist), and spend 2-3 nights a week out of the house refereeing touch footy. I'm the sort of person who is often busy early and late in the day, but has large chunks of the middle of the day available to keep the house ticking over, both inside and out, while others may be busy or out at work. I enjoy following the NRL, and given my passion for severe weather, during summer I often head out in the afternoons and evenings to chase storms across SE QLD.
LOOKING FOR HOME TO MOVE INTO IN JAN/FEB 2019. I will be looking for a home in Brisbane to move into in Jan/Feb 2019 as I begin my psychology degree at UQ at the end of February. I'm currently on the Gold Coast. Looking for a home: • Close to UQ in St Lucia (closer the better) • With a medium-large size room with lots of natural light, a ceiling fan and at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, wardrobes and mirror. • With a yard or deck that gets a decent amount of sun throughout the day. • With undercover parking preferred • With nearby public transport to and from UQ, fortitude valley, and the city preferred About me: I'm positive and ambitious, and a super organised, respectful and open person :) I'm very health conscious and make all my own healthy meals which are wholefood plant based. I'm down for cooking for others 😁💖 I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. Things I'm most passionate about in life are eco-sustainability, nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
I'm friendly, easy to get along with and respect others privacy. I prefer social housemates that I can call friends but also respect each other’s space. I am looking for a place within walking distance to a train station as I don't own a car. I am a manager Kmart in Indooroopilly. I am pretty flexible with the move in date and am looking for a place long term provided we become friends and fit well as housemates. Slide into my DMs if you think we would be a good match. 😉
Well first up, I work away in the mines in Central QLD so although I'll be paying rent and bills, I'm only there half the time. I'm super chilled out. I enjoy a beer in the afternoon and go alright on the BBQ. I do like a clean house but in saying that, if we do cook a big meal the night before, I'm happy to leave the dishes until the morning. I love to keep active so if i can find a flatmate who is also the same then that would be great (but not necessary). I enjoy jogging, Kayaking and hiking. Sorry, I hate cyclists!!!! 😂😂. If you're a chilled out and easy going kind of guy or girl, hit me up.
I’m coming to Brisbane to study for 2 years and would like to find a nice home to live in. I’m from the UK and have decided to take a career break to study. I’ve lived on my own before, so I know what it takes to look after a home. I’m not after a party house and prefer something a lot quieter. I like to get out in nature during my spare time and hope to do a little bit of travelling too. Sometimes, I may prefer to just chill out at home. A shared living area would be good, maybe a garden and a good functional kitchen. Good access to transport links is a must as I won’t have a car of my own. I’ll need access to the internet to enable me to do some home study. I won't be able to move in before 22nd January 2019 and free for viewings from 9th January 2019.
Please check if your offering matches my search below Searching for: - Maximum 3x (no couples please) - Large room or 2x rooms - Ensuite or own bathroom - Air-conditioned room - Up to $300 for 1.5-2 rooms (room needed for desk & draws) - Up to $250 for 1 room if some external storage is required - Preference for shared bills - Quiet location (not really city/valley) - Close by access to transport to the city - Pets are ok :) - Professionals or quiet students - Non-smoking house please About Me: Hi, I'm Nicole. I'm 30 and work full-time in the CBD, enjoy social sport and enjoy quiet activities at home such as reading, art or the odd reality show :) I also enjoy going out for breakfast, coffee and browsing vintage stores or markets on the weekends. I'm not into a party house, loud music or too much socialising at home (outside of the housemates) as home for me is for relaxing after a long day or week. I'm keen to live with someone who shares a similar mindset around respecting and compromising in a shared space so that everyone is comfortable and happy. It would be lovely to meet a new friend and have a wine if it works out but I'm also keen to have some personal space and a good house layout. I'd definitely love to share with a cat or small dog as I haven't been able to get one myself. I'm currently renting a townhouse to share but the owner has chosen to sell last minute. This means I'm flexible on dates and periods at the moment. Ideally I'd like the same set-up which is 3-beds+ between 2 and I'd also consider renting two adjacent rooms and bathroom if its close to budget. I do have a house of furniture (lounge, fridge, washing machine, TVs etc.) so ideally I could use some, or store some in a garage, but for the right room and price I will put this into storage. Reasonable storage is a must. If you think we would work well together or you have a set-up that would suit me, please let me know and send me a message :)
Always looking for things to do, If there's a concert in town I'll probably be there and got plenty of camping and surfing gear. Laid back and easy to get along with keen to have a beer on the weekend and watch some sports. Will be either training working or studying most week days. .
Hi there, I'm an outgoing, 27 year good girl from Germany and working currently full time in Graceville. Spend a lot of time travelling and looking for a nice place to stay the next 2-3 months 😊 I'm doing a lot of sports specially crossfit, love cooking, red wine and beer and good conversation. Happy to meet you 😊
Hi there! My name's Mary, and I'm a 33 year old Aussie girl (Brissy born and bred) and have recently moved back to Aus after 8 years away in the UK / Europe. I'm currently working full time as a Maitre d' 5 at a gorgeous cafe / restaurant in Graceville (which I love) and I'm also working on getting my music back up and running (I did acoustic gigs and worked as an EA while in London). I love the beach, the outdoors, keeping active (yoga, crossfit, running, hiking), and enjoy a glass of wine or two every now and then. I'm looking for a clean and friendly place to call home, and would love to hear from you if you think I'd be a good fit. With thanks and warm wishes, Mary
Very mature minded yet easy going, partner is also the same We are neat and tidy and don’t mind cleaning Don’t do drinks or party I Work part time in Indooroopilly as a nail technician so preferably somewhere near that area and my partner also works part time.
Hey I'm Jasmine. I'm looking for a friendly homey house to move into. I am currently studying a Bachelor Of Psychological Science online and I work 4 days a week at Toowong. As a person I am a pretty quite person , practically the opposite of loud . I love to have a good chat with people and always down for conversation and hanging out but I am quite introverted and need my space and quietness at times. I am not a party person either. I also have an adorable cat who is 5 and shes an angel.
I’m quiet considerate yet happy to chat and share with others or keep to myself if that’s yr thing. I don’t shirk my responsibilities and enjoy time alone or out with friends. I have a very quiet non shedding small dog . Like to cook and do my share of house work... enjoy outdoor time away from home or time watching adult son play cricket.
Hey, My name's James, I'm a 27 year old self-employed creative professional. I'm super low key and work as a professional filmmaker and photographer which sometimes sends me out of town for a few weeks or more. I don't drink, but enjoy hanging out and socialising, but also really value my privacy and respect that of others. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies, reading, playing video games and training in martial arts. I'm neat, tidy and considerate of others. I also have several appliances including a fridge, washing machine and tv that I'm able to bring to the new place if required.
I'm a first year UQ student who is easy going, quiet and tidy. I am social but do enjoy my times of privacy. Looking for housemates that are respectful and also willing to have a talk and a laugh. I am certainly an animal lover and have a 7 year old Koolie named Rus so I will happily move into a household with pets. Cannot wait to hear back from you!
I am super clean, tidy, quiet and respectful of others stuff and space. I don't mind pets as long as the house is clean. Happy to be social on occasions, but mainly looking for a quiet place to study and live. I'm still new to Brisbane so I spend days off going out or having weekends away. I'm flexible with locations and I'm looking to move around mid October. I don't have any furniture so furnished would be great. I'm a bit flexible on price depending on the right place.
Professional, sensible, courteous, clean and responsible male. Just moved back to Brisbane and will be buying a house in the next 6 months but am looking to share or get my own place to rent while I settle back in and get used to Brissy again. Find our the best suburbs, cafes, restaurants and lifestyle here. I work out at the airport but don’t necessarily need to live that close to there. Have a small dog and do a lot of outdoors stuff in my downtime including in rescue ops on weekends. I have some furniture and things in storage but ideally looking for something furnished however can get my furniture out of storage. Hope this helps Regards Sean
As a person, I would think of myself as quiet and peaceful, very caring and respectful of others, polite, well-mannered and considerate. Full-time, long-term employment. Part-time university student (external - online)
G'day! My name's Cam and I'm a 19 year old bloke who is seeking a really nice place to live as my lease at my current residence is close to running out :) I'm fun, friendly and very easy to get along with. I'm clean, quiet and respectful of the space of my roommates, but in turn am always up for a chat and think mutually respectful relationships with roommates are super important. I work long hours Monday to Saturday, play Tennis competitively and in my down time I love to read, hang out with mates and play poker! At the beginning of next year I'll be reducing my working hours to return to study, so I really need a place that is in relative location to the city. I've lived in Kenmore/Indro/Chelmer all my life so these areas are where I'm looking for mainly but I'm definitely open to offers. I'm looking for a place with a pretty good internet connection, preferably NBN as I require a reliable connection for work related purposes! I love animals but have none so if you have a cool dog or cat that would like some attention look no further. Please feel free to contact me with any listings, I know I sound pretty demanding writing them all out like this but that's just the dream! I'm totally flexible. Feel free to message me if you would like to know more. Cam
Looking for all-female house/flat (with no boyfriend-sleepovers) close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats (if possible) or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! : ) Prefer similar age-range/ 28-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean and considerate, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - read, lots of boxes! (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'll also consider suburbs near those I've listed.
Hi Ash and I are aged 30+. We are both Environmental Scientist that have just moved back to back to Brisbane after a year traveling in Europe. I have just started a new job in Ipswich. So were looking for somewhere between the City and Ipswich. We are very reliable and tidy. We are easy going and relaxed and get on with everyone. We both enjoy socializing, doing exercise and meeting good people and am looking to flat share with equally minded people If you have any questions just let us know Paul
Looking for a place within 500m range to any train station on Rosewood or Springfield train line. Max. budget mentioned is including all bills. Occasionally, I would love to socialize with my housemates and be silly with them 🙃. If carefree dancing or philosophy is your taste even better :) I have paid membership so you can go ahead and initiate a message, ta!
Hey guys i'm a 22 year old guy who just graduated uni and is now working full time. Im from rural NSW, very easy going and very easy to get along with. Ive lived in share houses all through uni and understand the dynamic of respecting peoples privacy, whilst also having a time to socialise. Look forward to hearing from you guys :)
Hey i am currently looking for a share house arrangement with a like minded person. I am currently looking for a place to live in Sherwood. I work - full time generally outside the house by 7 back 530. Outside of that I like go do some fitness cook and read I love to cook so shared meals on occasion are well in line. Most importantly, im considerateness respectful and clean I hope to look for someone soon so we can arrange something please feel free to contact me to discuss. I am strictly looking for people of good nature and drama free. Someone that can develop a friendship with aswell but also respect each other's privacy just don't want to come to a place and feel that's all it is a home starts with good company so I think it's a win win for both.
Hi guys, I’m a young professional currently looking for a drama free household to be apart of. I work long hours and train 6 days a week, so you won’t have to deal with me too often! I respect the need for space when living with others & consider myself to be a fairly laid back person & considerate of others so a household with the same mentality is what I’m chasing. Realistically I’m looking to move at the beginning of November, I have my own bed currently so that isn’t a requirement. :) Please be aware I am a smoker, so if this is something that bothers you it wouldn’t be an ideal mix.
About myself I’ve got a posting for research assistant and will be working in the University of Queensland. I’m clean and tidy as well as easy going person to live with. I’m completely a non-smoker and very friendly. I’m also socially outgoing (on most days) and would love to sit and talk over drinks. I’ll respect your space and privacy and I expect the same from you. Would love to get to know people from all walks! Need a furnished room, basics will do (mattress, clothes rack or drawers).
Move date is a guesstimate as not exactly sure yet but likely within 1-2months. Household will be amicably dissolving due to changes in our lives/circumstances. Please message me through here or if you text my mobile, please include your listing's webpage address. Otherwise, i'm sorry but i won't be interested as then you aren't verified and i don't know you're for real. Looking for quiet place that allows indoor only cats. After a place for a minimum of 3 months, if works out well, would stay for longer. Am 44, a non smoker/drinker, on disability pension for permanent health issues (migraines, arthritis, fibromyalgia and back/mobility issues). Fairly tidy person, but hygiene is must with me for kitchen and bathroom. I can be picky with kitchen and bathroom/toilet cleaniless, with keeping them clean as possible, the kitchen especially. Due to health, althu i like keep things tidy with my other living areas, i can't always clean as would like to, but when able to, do tend to have cleaning episodes where as much as can be cleaned/tidied is done (usually everything). Am otherwise fairly easy going, quirky, quiet, respectful person, preferring to keep to myself and needing own private space. I am an introvert who loves reading, writing, music, movies and am frequently on computer and streaming movies/tv (when/where possible). Have tastes more alternative than mainstream and am most definitely not 'girly'. I am well used to sharing with guys and girls. Also well accustomed to being around 'freaks', nerds/geeks, and others of 'peculiar' hobbies (such as all forms of rpg's, gamers, etc). Don't mind being around children of school age, happy to occasionally babysit so parents can have some time out for themselves. Need my cat with me, he is my ESA (emotional support animal) in my living with my health issues. My cat is a quiet, clean, desexed, indoor cat who is very skittish around other people until he knows them which takes first getting used to the new place then to the new people. (Being a cat not used to people in general it will take some time in a new place, with new people.) My cat is fully an indoor only cat so must have a place that's fully ok with that. As is an indoor cat, I do take steps to minimise any smell (such as litter tray odour reducers and air fresheners, etc) and clean both his food bowls and litter tray daily. Needing to live on own in small self contained place that is quiet and not many people around as need own space, mostly as I get paranoid about my cat getting outside and getting hurt or going missing. Needing a place without steps, easy to maintain and close-ish to some type of shopping center if possible. Do not have own car. While prefer living in own space, don't mind sharing with 1 or 2 others who are also quietish people if have own quiet space. Would also consider sharing with a single parent with a child. Have own furniture etc, so need non furnished place. Also bedroom needs space for a queen bed as need to have my own bed as i have special needs with my bed. Mostly looking for a place close(ish) to Centenary area or Indooroopilly or within easy drive of them, and with easy, close parking for family who help me get around for shopping, doctor visits etc. But know my options will be limited, willing to consider many other areas. Also as tend to do online shopping with home deliveries, need it to be ok with that. As for rent / costs / bills can afford, i can go higher than $150pw rent if bills are fully included or i have more space for my own things so less costs in storing what i don't have space for. If you look at my fb, please know i have it set to fully private (as i'm a very private person) and show my liking for HP Lovecraft in the cover picture. Also, my first name on it is my nickname not my legal first name due to having an abusive ex - he is no longer an issue except only on social media (fb is aware of the situation and worked with me on it).
I work as a full time veteriarian. I have a cat I adopted recently. I am tidy and like to see friends, exercise or just have a night in on weekends. Looking for a place to live for 6 months or longer.
I'm an easy going person. I have a son but he lives with his dad in NZ. I'm looking to meet some nice people and just have my own space again minimum 6months. I love to cook and relax. I work a lot and I'm trying to go to the gym more so I'm not around too much so when I am -I'm pretty quiet.. Not saying I can't have a good laugh...
I’m a very flexible person, rather quite and chilled but love a good party. I’m working almost full time and studying so during the week I don’t do much. I have a beautiful 4 year old Rottweiler that I need to bring with me so can only rent houses that accommodate for her 😊
i’m a part time worker who can get called in at any time, in a relationship. i enjoy relaxing and a beer.
Hey guys, I'm Ash! I'm a young professional in my mid 20s working fulltime during week in a HR role in East Brisbane. Also in 2019 I'll most likely be back at uni doing my post grad to become a Psychologist so I'll be a busy bee. I've lived with roommates for the last couple of years so know what this is all about! I'm very clean therefore prefer to live with someone who is the same, and I am one to respect other peoples space and belongings. I do love a good chat with a wine but also happy to do my own thing :) I gym a few times throughout the week, and on the weekends I love being out and about usually hiking at some waterfall or down at the Gold Coast with my family. I am not a party person but do like the occasional night out at a live gig! My current lease ends in December so looking for a place to move to around then. I would like to move away from the hussle and bussle of the city! :)
I grew up on the Sunshine Coast but have lived in Adelaide and Brisbane as well. I am adventurous and like to go exploring, and I enjoy cooking and baking so do it a lot. I also do yoga and enjoy walking and cycling, hanging out at home, going to the cinema and visiting friends and family. I'm not certain about a moving date, it's very flexible, when I find the right place I'll move.
Hey everyone, my names Liam, i'm 26, i work part time (3-4 nights a week). I like my cars, racing, games, computers, travel etc. I like to game, go out for drives or see friends in my spare time; i am not a huge party kinda person although i dont mind the occasional quiet drinks. I'm fairly quiet and easy going to live with, dont mind a bit of a chat but mainly just like to do my own thing: i pay for shit on time, clean up after myself and i am respectful of others privacy and belongings; i expect the same in return. I'm looking for somewhere cheap to rent 3-6 months for the time being so i can build up my savings; My ONLY stipulation is off street parking and a working internet connection. I have a bond and 2 weeks rent ready to go now and I'm ready to move whenever. if you're interested in having a chat or meeting up; feel free to send me a text or call me anytime
I work full-time during the week and have an active social life on the weekends. When I am home I'll be relaxing watching footy. I'm easy to get along with and always down for a chat after work. Looking to live with chill people.
