Ideally, I'm looking to live with like-minded females in a eco-friendly household with minimal waste. But really, I'm cool with anyone who is concerned for the planet and wants to improve. I'm an arts Student at UQ, studing Writing, Political Science and Journalism/Communications. I'm very friendly and clean. I'm a little shy and I like to keep to myself most of the time. But I wouldn't mind having some drinks and a chat every so often! I love op shopping, quirky earrings and sewing my own clothes. I would be very interested in teaming up with one or two people, as I have a lot of my own furniture for the whole household (fridge, washing machine, dryer, couch etc).
Hi, I’m Steph and my partner is Rich. We’re looking for a place that accepts couples and where both our names can be on the rental agreement, somewhere that is cat friendly and also has level off street parking. I’m from the UK and am currently studying a diploma at a college in the CBD. I live in Kenmore but getting to/from the city can sometimes be time consuming. I'm looking for a similar house share with easier access to the city. I’ve lived on my own before and in house shares so I know what it takes to look after a home. I’m not after a party house and prefer something a quieter. We respect other people's space and you won't have to worry about me taking your food. We’re hoping for a house share that respects quiet time and personal space but I’m not adverse to a sharing a few beers over dinner of an evening. We clean up after ourselves in common areas. We like to get out in nature during our spare time and hope to do a little bit of travelling too. Sometimes, we may prefer to just chill out at home. My partner has a campervan (google ‘Van Cat Meow’) and currently stays with me when he’s not working and he has a cat. Ideally, we’re looking for a place that is OK with couples and is pet friendly. We don’t require much room as most of Rich’s stuff will stay in his van. We’re available to move from 6th July. What we’re looking for... - A functional kitchen is a must - A shared living area would be ideal - A garden would be nice, but not essential - Good/quick access to transport links is a must - Level off-street parking would be good - AC in the bedroom would be ideal but not essential - a pet friendly house share for a well behaved cat. We are responsible pet owners and don’t let her roam without a harness and leash. We are open to other suburbs not listed in my profile, the ones I’ve listed are just a few I’m familiar with. Preferably no further than fare zone 2 would be ideal, but most suburbs will be considered. Get in touch!
I am a quiet, professional woman who is looking for a place to call home. I have a Ragdoll cat who is inside only, although very clean and toilet trained. Ideally, I would be looking for a 1 bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, lounge and a place to park my car. I am also open to sharing with the right person. I work full time in Wacol. I can provide excellent references, both real estate and personal. I would be looking to move in on Friday, 19th, to Monday, 22nd July. I look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, Nicole
Hey Guys, I'm Hassam, a full-time accounting/finance professional working as Financial controller in an SME. I'm a friendly, down to earth and tidy individual who loves his coffee. I’m looking for a room or housemates to share a place with around cooparoo or south Brisbane area starting this July. So yell out anybody :) Cheers!
Hi, I am Alex (33) aka the Greek. I just moved to Australia after leaving in the UK for 10 years with a 2-year break away to Germany. I work in UQ as a Post-Doc. in economics and psychology. I love drinking coffee watching the sunrise and I try to exercise at least an hour per day (gym, tennis, yoga, swim, cycling) even if work continuously tries to get in the way. I am always in for the after work beer or glass of wine, and I enjoy cooking. Laura is a veterinarian. She is Spanish, currently living in the UK but she will be joining me in July. Laura is a horrible cook but you do not have to worry about that. Other than that we are very similar, she is always up for a beer and very social. As a couple, we are very laid back and social. We are looking for a house that we can call home with a group of flatmates that we can share a laugh and our dinner with. The place doesn't have to be spotless just fairly clean and reasonably organized.
Hi, the names Rubi, freshly 20 and ready to venture out into the world! To kickstart, I'm the type of roommate who respects boundaries and rules, would say I am a little introverted so I tend to keep to myself (also due to busy schedule), makes fancy dinners that require an ample amount of kitchen time, loves to read and play card games/board games with friends and family. Working currently part-time at Woolworths, been working for the 'fresh food people' for over 2 years now and enjoy my time there quite a lot. Studying part-time to be a Flight Attendant and enjoy a good book, a good wine with some decent food, a good laugh and daily exercise. I do enjoy going out with friends, however keep that to once a week/fortnight as I like to maintain a somewhat healthy 'standard of living'. Anything more you would like to ask/know about please do not hesitate to contact me via phone number. My pleasure, I look forward to speaking with you.
I'm a happy and moderately active PhD student studying social sciences. I own all my own furniture and am self-sufficient. I love having a casual chat, but also really enjoy my me-time. I'm quiet, get along with anyone, love learning about all things weird and wonderful, and I like a pot of tea or a Friday night more than a cocktail jug. I'm looking for a place where I can be predominantly autonomous with space for me and my plants and a view of the sky. I am happy to share with cool people if I have my own space :) I love plants and animals (furry friends are my friends) and movies. I am also vegetarian.
Bubbly and social, always down for a chat and the occasional wine but love my own space. Granny flat would be ideal but would also move into a large bedroom (to fit a queen, small couch and tv). Im a store manager working Tuesday - Saturday and often away on my weekends. Definitely looking for a big room but don’t mind sharing a bathroom. Very neat and tidy, and always pay my bills on time. Would want to live in a clean space. (Don’t mind what you do in your own room but common/shared areas would be clean areas) I enjoy travelling and food festivals and try not to kill my plants, but most of my time is spent working. Don’t mind living with pets but wouldn’t want them in my room.
I’m Lara, I’m 25 and I work full time as a dental assistant and receptionist. I am looking for a place to rent along with my Dad as where he is currently renting has just gone up for sale. I have a 19 year old cat who is very friendly, doesn’t scratch and sleeps all day in the sun. He requires a secure yard with grass.
I'm quite fun and definitely don't mind a boogie in the kitchen. I love to have a chat, but appreciate my own space as well. I'm very tidy and clean. I'm into arty stuff, plants, music and environmental work. I currently work as a barista at two cafes and do volunteer work for the australian youth climate coalition. I'm hoping to study graphic and communication design full time next year.. I also love cooking and will prepare many yummy dinners!
