Hey there! I'm 19 years old, working practically full time and hoping to move out of home! I'm super friendly and easy going, I always clean up after myself and I'm extremely independent and respectful. I'd love to find some like-minded people to have an enjoyable house with!
Hi everyone! Herald here (aka Frankie), working part-time and studying, and I am currently looking for a share-house around Gungahlin area that is pet friendly as I am having to leave the current house (due to major renovation) that I have lived in for 3 years with many other university students and professionals throughout those years. I am really easy going and friendly and I believe in maintaining a peaceful, clean and respectful house environment. I love to chat but can respect when people need downtime. I also clean and tidy up after myself as well as participate in all shared household chores without a problem. Love listening to Metal (don't worry I use my headsets :) ) and all the geeky/pop culture stuff like computer hardware, Marvel/DC universe, Movies, TV shows and Video games (PC). I have a 2 year old cat (Pixel), who is well trained and well behaved and stays indoors (mostly in my bedroom). My budget is $180 - $200 per week with utilities and internet. If you are looking for a housemate and don't mind my cat, please message me :)
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working fulltime. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself. I have a 1 year old swiss shepherd that I would like to bring with me too, shes house trained and very loving. I spend most of my free time watching a movie, reading a book, or out riding my dirtbike.
Hi! I'm Liam, a psychology and marketing student at the ANU going into my third year. I'm quite an active person, playing cricket, futsal and going to the gym, as well as enjoying trips along the coast to find the best beaches and heading up the mountains to find the snow. When I'm home, I enjoy watching film, reading, and playing video games. As a vegan (and not the type of person who condescends anyone who is not), I tend to just cook for myself, but if anything I make seems appealing I also like to cook with/for others! I'm an especially clean and responsible person, enjoy conversations about anything under the sun and would make a great addition to your household! I have a queen bed and some other furniture in storage so would ideally be looking for an unfurnished bedroom space. I'm looking to move into a place soon as I've picked up a lot of work over the summer, but am open to checking out new places for a longer term stay to find the perfect fit. Cheers, Liam
CIT environment graduate looking for long-term accommodation. I like to keep my place clean and tidy, and I get along with just about anyone. I enjoy art, photography, gaming and the outdoors.
Hi There! I am 22 currently studying at UC (second year) and working at an After School Care :) Price can be a bit negotiable and I am looking to stay for at least 6 months moving in around January. I am just a girl who loves Goodberries, chicken nuggets and Netflix. I am a fun easy going person who cleans up after myself and am keen to move in with some cool people and make some new friends! I am super chill, full of banter and pretty much get along with everyone :) I also enjoy binge watching tv shows on Netflix (who doesn't) and love watching trash tv. If I sound like someone you want to live with hit me up! Thanks! Chels :)
I'm an easy going, chilled out person who is very tidy and keeps to myself but also happy to have a chat. I work a lot during the day and also work late nights Thursday to Saturday. I'm very self sufficient and happy to help around the house with cooking and cleaning when needed. I'm open to living with all sorts of people in the Belconnen or Gungahlin area.
Hi, My name is Nicollette, I am an easy going 21-year-old female who will be working full time as a registered nurse and looking for a place to stay (All female) for roughly one year. I am clean and tidy but not overly pedantic. I’m always up for a chat, dinner or drinks, not a big party person either and respectful of others personal space. I will also be bringing a small budgie-sized bird with me who won’t be any trouble :) I am looking to move in early February so please send me a message if interested.
I’m a clean and friendly person. I love to socialise, have a chat and a glass of wine. I also like my privacy and respect other people’s privacy. I generally study, work and hang out with friends. I like hanging out, watching movies, cooking and relaxing. I’m verg easy to get a long with and am very respectable.
A Melbournian looking to move up to Canberra to start full-time work in the public service. I'm friendly, reliable, tidy, considerate, easy-going, and a proud supporter of the Oxford comma (sometimes). I'm a nerd at heart who loves his gaming, movies and music. I love playing pick-up basketball, so if you're a follower of the NBA, we'll be sure to get along (unless you're a Celtics fan, fair warning). I'm always good for a chat over some beverages but can also appreciate a quiet night of Netflix and board games. I'm happy to fit into a house looking for a new roommate or team up with others also looking for a place to settle in Canberra. Hopefully looking to move and get settled around mid-December. I'll be working in Bruce so anywhere around there or in north Canberra would be preferred :)
Future undergrad student at ANU. Moving from Ballarat, Victoria. Easygoing and relatively tidy. Keen soccer player. I live for good conversation. Respectful of other people. Traveling through Africa in January, making the move to Canberra in early February.
I'm a full-time student looking for accommodation in (preferrably) a sharehouse. I've just completed my first year at the ANU studying a bachelor of science/languages majoring in Japanese and Marine Science. Easy-to-get-along-with local Canberran and love music, dogs and a good dance and drink with friends.
I’m a 23 year old South African, from Johannesburg. Been in Australia for 4 years studying a bachelor of law at UC. I’ve live in shared student accommodation so I’m respectful of people’s space, clean up after myself and always up for socialising.
Recently returned from the U.S.A, where I completed a 3 month internship. Looking for somewhere to live upon my return to Canberra. Work full time and play a lot of sport, so I don't usually spend too much time at home. Very easy to live with; clean and respectful. Easy to get along with, good sense of humor. Any questions just let me know.
Hola :) My name is Taya and I'm a 29 year old public servant. I'm originally from Newcastle and moved down to Canberra a couple of years ago for work. Although I miss the beach a lot, I am slowly getting used to Canberra. I have been renting with a friend since moving down here, however, it's time to move on and expand my social circle. I work shift work at the moment but hopefully not forever. I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to cafes, walking around the lake and of course, the odd wine or two.
I work a lot and dance Ballroom a lot too. I'm happy to engage as much or as little as preferred, and I'm pretty easily pleased with whatever comes my way. Not overly fussy on location. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know.
Hi, guys! I'm from south korea. But i used to live in Philippines for 3years and graduated college there. I will leave for Australia in December with working holiday visa. For more exprience to achieve my lifegoals, i chose to live in other country. That's the reason why i want to work abroad. Im gonna do tiling as my job. I am a bit good in cooking. I am a 25 year old public servant and I am currently looking for somewhere central, inner north / south or Belconnen Reigon. I am a fun, friendly and easy going person. I’m generally pretty busy during the week with work and on weekends I tend to spend time with family and friends but I do enjoy hanging out at home just to relax and do nothing. I’m not a massive party person but I enjoy being social! So I’m always keen for a chat and to hangout :) I love to cook and watch Netflix, that’s basically me in a bubble. Food + Netflix. Looking for some like minded people to live with! Happy to go anywhere between 6 - 12 months (even longer if possible) I also come with a queen sized bed that I’m not willing too part with (it’s too amazing haha) so the room would need to be able to fit that and storage for my clothing or come with built in robes. Also, I am unfortunately super allergic to cats so I wouldn’t be able to live with them. *sad face* but dogs are completely fine or any other pets :) If you think I suit what you are looking for fee free to shoot me a message!
Hey, my name's Daniel! I'm a psychology graduate working full-time in the public service. I've been living in a 4-person sharehouse in Braddon for the last 1.5 years, with great housemates. Our lease expires on December 4th though, so I'm looking for a new place to move to around then. WHAT LOCATION I'M LOOKING FOR: I'm looking for a place within walking distance to the Canberra Centre, or somewhere close to a bus stop. THE HOUSE/ROOM I'M LOOKING FOR: The place I'm looking for would ideally have an ensuite, covered parking space, dishwasher, washing machine, and a bedroom with enough space for a queen bed, large desk, and digital piano (not necessary though!). WHEN AND HOW LONG I'M LOOKING TO MOVE: My current lease expires on December 15th 2017, so I would be looking to move between December 1-13th 2017. I'm interested in a 12 month lease, but am happy to negotiate :) WHAT I CAN BRING: I've got furniture for my room, but can also offer an iron and ironing board, large chest freezer, and some things for the kitchen. My ideal housemate/s would be friendly, sociable (but also understanding of personal space), tidy, and of either gender. I believe it's important to have a coffee/beer/dinner every now and then so we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other, but I completely understand if you want your space. If you'd like to chat or meet up over coffee, let me know. I'm also happy to provide references.
