My name is Luke, I'm re-locating to Canberra for work in Braddon. I'm 37 and work time as an Accountant. I'm also studying part time to become a High School teacher. I'm clean and pretty easy going. I can cook and clean too. I like to chill out with music, a few drinks and good conversation.
I'm friendly, clean & neat, sociable and respectful of the privacy of others. I've lived in flat/house shares for a year and I am now a fully "trained" housemate. I'm working as a therapist and relatively new to Canberra. I may be returning to Sydney for work sometime. I have a Jack Russell female dog who is equally chilled and highly trained. At times, I work from home auditing cases. I'd love to hear from you. In my spare time, I paint and have an active social life on weekends. I tend to go for hikes with my dog, visit friends and I am involved in many side projects that keep me busy. I tend to watch too much TV and Netflix too. I'm looking for a long term stay.
I study from home fulltime and work part time. I’m moving back to Canberra from Sydney and need a short term stay until I find my own place. I respect others privacy, keep common areas clean, I’m a quiet considerate housemate. My miniature (5kg) dog is well behaved, 14 yo (so he sleeps a lot) and loves people, although not good with other pets. I’m looking for a quiet, comfortable place with someone who loves animals.
Hey potential housemates My name is Sharne and I am a 28 year old Primary school teacher. I enjoy my personal space but also up for a chat and binging the bachelor, bachelorette or MAFS. Enjoy spending time with family and friends, listening to music, going to the movies and Seinfeld and sex and the city aficionado. Hoping to find 1 other person like minded to move in with :) Cheers Sharne
My name’s Cherisse and I’m looking for somewhere to live in the ACT or Queanbeyan with housemates who are easygoing and fun. I’m pretty busy so I mostly keep to myself, but I’d love to live with people who share a few drinks or go out from time to time (I love love love karaoke). I’m a freelancer and often work from home, so I need a room with a reasonable amount of privacy and housemates who don’t mind helping me procrastinate through my writers block. Everywhere’s a twenty minute drive from everywhere else in Canberra, so the most important thing for me is finding housemates who are a good fit. Otherwise, I’m into fitness, don’t smoke, like animals and have a healthy fear of spiders. I come with an eight year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Dexter. He’s not very active, so he doesn’t need much space, but he does need secure fencing. He’s adorable, housetrained and loves cuddles and other dogs. I’m open to any sort of lease for any length of time. I’ve got my own furniture, internet and Netflix account, so all I really need is a bedroom. Hit me up if you’ve got a room that might suit me.
Hi. I am a small business owner (computer engineer) based in Gungahlin. As I'm hardly ever home now and recently separated, I'm just looking for a base to sleep and cook the occasional meal. I'm clean, tidy and pretty easy-going. I'm into sport, running, music, theatre, Latin dance and love to travel when I can. I have 2 kids who live in Hobart with their mum
I am a full-time worker in the public servant. I am super clean and looking for a house that's similar. I enjoy my wine and the occasional night out but not a party animal. I don't have any pets but have no issue with others having them.
I am a 29 yr old vet, who has recently moved to Canberra from Sydney. I love cooking and baking and sharing whatever I've made. I am always happy to sit and have a chat, but also respect the need for space. I clean up after myself and not opposed to doing whatever dishes there are in the sink. :)
hey were a couple looking for a home to rent as the owner of the place we live in now wants to move back in. I work full time at the ibis styles hotel on goyder street , and my wife is a student at the ANU. we would highly appreciate a prompt response as we only have 4 weeks to vacate the house. Thanks, Yasir
I live with a lovable goof of a LabradorX named Tycho. He loves people and belly rubs. His favourite thing to do is sleep on the floor or sofa in the company of his people. As for myself I am a quiet, self-professed gamer. Most of my time I spend on my computer streaming or playing games. I'm happy to have a chat but I like my own space as well. I work full time as a receptionist for a law firm in the city. I am looking to share a place with responsible, mature housemates with open communication and cooperation.
Hi, I am moving back to Canberra and I am looking for somewhere to rent. I am clean and quiet. I do enjoy occasionally chatting to my housemate - possibly bonding over trashy tv, a walk, a cuppa or a wine. I also like to have my own time and space too. I like to cook, but I don't cook every night (joys of cooking for one) and will always clean up after myself. I am easy going, kind and always pay my bills on time. I like rock climbing and scuba diving. Ideally, I would like to move in after the 12th April (moving from out of town back to Canberra), I have 2 - 4 weeks to find a place once I moved back. It would be great to have my own bathroom but I am flexible. Preferably only one other housemate, but again, for the right house, I could be swayed. Looking forward to finding somewhere great to live.
we are looking for rooms at around $180 p/w or 2 bedroom places for $360-$390 p/w We are Lisa (27) and Laura(29), two friends (for over 10 years) who have been sharing houses together in Canberra for just over 5 years. Laura works for the APS and Lisa works in optometry, we don't have any pets (well, Laura does have a small fish tank with some very cute guppies) we are considerate, respectful and clean. ideally we would like to find a place of our own again, but our deadline is short ,we need to be out of the property by April 21st so the new owners can move in. we are happy to share a bathroom amongst ourselves, Laura is an excellent cook and Lisa plays piano and guitar. we have all our own furniture and Laura has a car that would need a place to park. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to message us.
I have a good personal hygiene and like to keep the place neat and tidy. Of course, I am a fun loving person, friendly, and love to hang. That’s said, I respect your privacy at all times. I go to gym and, my hobbies include books, movies, video games to mention a few.
Hi, the name is Jess, Info about me; I’m looking into moving from my current sharehouse, i dont really have a timeframe just as soon as I can. I'm very trust-worthy, reliable, and respectful I expect others to be the same. I'm very down-to-earth and easy to get along with, I do keep to myself but I don't mind a chat. I’m currently working as a part-time nanny and studying at CIT. And I do have a German Shepherd dog. Yes she is big and hyperactive but she is very friendly and has a very playful nature. Goes for daily walks. (Doesn’t like adult dogs, sorry) (Puppies/young dogs are fine if introduced) Anymore info you would like, send me a message :)
I am 19 years old, second year nursing student. I work part time in Gungahlin with kids. I am originally from a small country town called West Wyalong, eager to move into a place in April. I would prefer an unfurnished bedroom, otherwise with everything else I am very flexible.
Hello, I'm going to be attending UC and hope to find some place close to the uni. I think it's very important to keep the public living area clean (particularly the kitchen). I'm happy to be social but I think i will mostly keep to myself. I enjoy reading, cooking and music.
