Hello - My name is chris. I’m 38 - single - gay and very connected to the community back in Melb. A journalist by trade by currently in the process of moving to Canberra to work for a pretty exciting start up. I’m quiet, will travel for work at least once a week and work a lot so won’t be in ontop if anyone. Getting into the gym a bit and pretty social guy. Yet also really respectful of space and boundaries. Let me know if you have any questions. Flexible with where I live as have a car just out the suburbs that I know down!
I have 2 dogs, a maremma x dingo and maremma x Labrador, they come with me everywhere so their unlikely to be left home alone. I’m a tidy and organised person I also enjoy cleaning, therefore living with tidy people is preferred. I’m usually out with the dogs to give them as much exercise as possible and am addicted to Netflix. I also have a really pretty large tropical fish tank. I have elegant furnishings for an entire house except for bedrooms other than my own. I’ld prefer to team up and apply for a rental with another person or two. Also interested in just renting a room in the short term
Hi! I’m a 26 year old CSU student studying Oral Health. I have roughly 3 months of placement in Canberra and looking for a place to stay! My placement begins at the start of March And I would prefer a furnished room. I don’t mind being social or keeping to myself, very easy going and respectful of others. I don’t smoke and my partying days are well behind me! Will spend most of my spare time studying
Hello, I'm going to be attending UC and hope to find some place close to the uni. I think its very important to keep the public living area clean (particularly the kitchen). I'm happy to be social but I think i will mostly keep to myself. I enjoy reading, cooking and music.
I'm a friendly, responsible and clean person with a sense of humour. I study a landscaping apprenticeship at CIT (but currently still looking for an employer), and I enjoy photography, gaming, and the outdoors. I like a tidy and clean room and try to keep my surroundings that way. Looking for long-term rental accommodation in a share house or separate flat.
I’m a very friendly bubbly person, I’m a very social butterfly, but do like to keep to myself every now and again. I’m very easy going, and will be flexible with a lot of things. I also am quite a bit of an artistic person, I play most instruments, which I hope won’t be a bother!
I am a 25 year old female looking for a room in a friendly and tidy home. I've recently returned to Canberra after graduating from the University of Newcastle. I'm a reliable housemate who enjoys a social atmosphere at home but also appreciates everyone having their own space. Please feel free to get in touch for any more information.
I'm a Uni student looking for a place that I can have my 1 year old dog in. I like to keep where I live clean and tidy, and respect other peoples space. I'm pretty easy going, interested in almost everything and prefer to relax at home.
Hi, I'm Dan. I'm a 27 year old sports biomechanist moving over to Canberra from Perth to work at the AIS at the start of February. I've spent the last 10 years at uni, so I'm looking forward to the new challenge. Given I'm moving across the country, I'm looking for a furnished room (preferably not a single bed). The location of any potential house doesn't really bother me, as long as it's in Canberra. I'd be after a housemate or housemates that are easy to get along with and share a space with. Unsurprisingly (given my profession) I am a bit of sport nut. I also love music, food, and the odd drink. I’m easy going and happy to socialise but am also fine with keeping my own company. I’m clean and tidy and definitely don’t mind helping out with housework when it’s needed.
Ex-Sunshine State in town 1 month for work. I'm a big gamer, foodie and muso when time allows. Fun fact about me: I've recently spent 6 month abroad in Detroit flat-mating with a Frenchman who passed on a glorious French Onion Soup recipe... Whether your house is quiet/social, filled with pets or social butterflies - I'm flexible.
I'll be moving out sometime mid this year. Im looking a getting my own rental. I'm hopefully looking for a roommate to help with rent, utilities will be spilt 50%. HMU if you think you are looking for a place somewhere quiet, good for studying, and fine around small dog (house trained and doesn't bark much). I already have an unlimited internet plan its $90/mo Some furniture is supplied, couch, desk, dinning table and chairs.
Looking to move into a chill environment with a fairly spacious room , will be studying in february. Im an easy going tidy person that keeps to myself but also likes social interaction. I am quite the uber eats enthusiast so your fridge can be stress free :D.
I and my partner, mid-20s, are looking for a room and we are interested in the room. Briefly, both of us are professional full-time workers. I am an engineer and my partner is a graphic designer. We are social people who spend their free times by going for a theater, movie or a concert, bushwalking, camping, cycling and juggling. Tidiness and cleanness in common areas are our priority. We are quite social people. Most of the time we prefer to cook at home in the weekdays. Respecting private is crucial for us. We like socialising with the housemates . We would be happy to spend sometime with the housemates. Cheers!
I have share housed in many places before, I like cooking don’t mind bogging into a group cook up. I clean up after myself and I am focused on my studies so and my own business so I’m quiet.
Im a 19 year old educator at Brindabella Chrisitan College. I work 8 hours, 5 days a week so im not at home much. I'm very clean and tidy and fun to be around! This is my first time moving out so i'm very excited!
I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane to work for the dept of infrastructure. I've lived in sharehouses for four years and clear up after myself and am happy to help out around the place. I'm just looking for a place with relaxed housemates who are happy to socialise and have time to themselves. When not working I like reading, playing video games, going to the gym, and I'm looking at joining a sports team when I get down. I arrive in Canberra on the 7th of Jan and am looking to get a place sorted as soon as I can.
I'm a 4th year advanced computing student at ANU, where I also work doing tutoring / lab demonstrating. My hobbies include video and board games, cycling, Netflix and food. I have been in share accommodation for about 4 years and enjoy socializing with my flatmates but also respect privacy and space. Would prefer a place close to ANU (with a car space) but flexible.
