Hi, I'm a student teacher finishing my masters in teaching. I'm relaxed and friendly :) I have a small spoodle (spaniel x poodle) named Digby. Because he is a poodle breed he does not shed fur. He's fully house-trained, pretty quiet and loves people. Ideally I'd like to find a place with a small yard for him to run around in. I work part-time and am also a free lance illustrator. My other interest is swing dancing, I generally spend two to three nights a week dancing.
About to move to Canberra from Melbourne to take up a grad position. I have a small older friendly dog. I also have a house worths of furniture and am looking to start a share house with 1 other person. My lease in Melbourne ends NOV 8 so looking to find a place not too long after that before the uni and grad rush. I will probably be in canberra next week or the week after to look for houses. I can get along fine with basically anyone, I don't mind having people over or to stay or anything. I am quite social and not really a super private person so I like hanging out and debriefing pretty often. I am also very house proud and do regular chores, so looking for someone who also does things like sweeps and wipes the benches down. Looking for someone over 26yo. Mostly just looking for a calm household and a high standard of living !
I'm a relaxed but clean musician and teacher. When I'm home I like a nice drink and to cook something delicious yet wholesome. Always good for a hang ranging from short conversations to a Netflix binge but respect peoples' space because we all need some alone time every now and again.
Hi! My name's Islay, and my partner's name is Jacob. We're looking for a 6 month to 12 month (or more) place that is within around 15mins drive to the city (if possible)! We're laid-back, chill people who are looking forward to a fresh living space. A little about us: We both study at ANU - I study science (biochemistry and cell/molecular biology) and Jacob studies engineering (renewable energy and theoretical physics [he's definitely the smart one!]), which is what takes up most of our time during the week. On weekends, we both work our respective jobs. We're a busy couple, but in our down time we like to cook together, take walks and watch movies (usually sci-fi). Please let us know if we sound like the kind of people you'd like to share with. We're always up for a chat :)
Hi everyone, We are two Canberrans looking to move into a share-house from mid-November onward. Ellie is a young professional. She describes herself as super lame, and enjoys cooking, the outdoors and a drink. Ashleigh is an ANU student. She loves the ocean and the outdoors. She also survives mainly on peanut butter toast (so you won't have to worry about her hogging the kitchen). We are both friendly and social, but also like our down time. We are looking for another clean, friendly student/young professional to team up with/join our house. Flick us a message if you're interested, and we can organise to meet up & get a coffee. - Ellie and Ash
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors. - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social.
Hi All. I am a tech-enthusiastic, easy-going guy from Tasmania. I'm currently studying video game design, programming and small business management, and am very close to owning my own small studio in video game development. In my free time, I normally play video games, go to the cinema, or develop video games (It's my job and my passion). I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker, independent, tidy, organised, always pay on time, and enjoy genuine conversations. I'm planning to study in Watson ACT during 2018, and therefore i am looking for accommodation nearby for 1 year, starting around late January. I'd also be up for "teaming up" for accommodation. Hope to hear from prospective flatmates. :)
I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. Currently I'm finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle, then will be travelling in Europe for a couple of months and moving down to Canberra after the new year. I start work on January 31 but happy to move in earlier and get settled into a place. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, open for a chat and just generally laid back.
Hi there! I'm an active young woman who works for Cisco out at Brindabella Park. I grew up here, so plenty of local knowledge. I don't have pets just YET, but I'm planning on rescuing a doggo or two, because I love dogs and also they're the key to happiness. This means that, if possible, I'd love a place with a yard. It doesn't have to be massive, as I'm in the habit of walking any dogs I have twice a day, every day. I regularly go to the gym - Eighty8 near my work, Anytime Fitness, and BlocHaus climbing gym - so I'm out of the house until quite late on weekdays. On weekends, I like relaxing around the house, moaning about being tired, then finally dragging myself off my butt to buy expensive brunch like the usual entitled millennial (but I hate avocado - ask me why I haven't bought a house yet!) and hang out with my mates. I am not at all a morning person; in fact I hate them. And I'm also not really a party person unless someone else does all the work and drags me out the door. I'm really not suited to a student household or a house with more than two other people - I've done my time in massive sharehouses, and I'm not about that life anymore. I do like cooking, but I'm pretty boring, because I usually bulk cook everything once a week and then eat frozen leftovers. Sometimes I feel inspired and make cakes/biscuits/assorted baked goods which I expect to share, because please take all those sweet things away from me. I definitely have too many clothes, so expect to triple your wardrobe if you're a size 8/shoe size 7, because I share. If you're a bloke, you can share too, but don't stretch out anything expensive! I enjoy video games, and I have a nice PC and an Xbox 360 (yes, I refuse to update, that workhorse is still going strong). I also read a lot! In summary: - One or two other people to share; - Small yard for a doggy; - Not a party animal; - Tragically single, so no bf/gf to awkwardly meet, but occasional sobbing; - Sometimes sing in the shower, but am actually decent; - Unfortunately shed long blonde hair everywhere; - Don't smoke, do drink infrequently; - Relaxed, full time employed, also I smell nice.
We have just come back from a big overseas trip and are looking for a place close to the city. We both work full time. From Canberra, we both do crossfit but love almost any style of exercise training. Love camping, hiking, sunshine and being outdoors. Love a chat and sharing meals and a few drinks now and then but also respectful of personal space and downtime.

Hey! I’ve lived in Canberra all my life and work in politics doing online communications. That means I’m rather busy during the week and like to spend my weekends recharging. I love music, video games, writing and have a few succulents that I’d bring along too. I’m pretty easy going and have no problem doing my bit around the house.
I'm a fourth year student at ANU originally from Melbournebut here to study. I work part time as a swim instructor. I am fun and easygoing and enjoy sharing a meal or watching TV but also understand the need for space. Dependable I will do my share of the work. I also love animals so have no issue there :)
42 year old Male looking for a short term stay while i settle into new job & find my own house. I wont be around most weekends & will be working 10 hour days while staying. I am a non smoker & non drinker fit type of guy. I am easy going, honest, respectful & thoughtful of others , friendly, funny clean & domesticated.
I am a 31yo male Engineer on the Canberra Light Rail. I try to stay fit and exercise (or just not get too fat) , but I do enjoy eating like a king on the weekends. a bit about me, I enjoy going to the gym, salsa dancing, my beloved Nissan weekend car, and hopefully get into some pilates for my ridiculously poor flexibility! On the weekends i dont mind a few frothies and a good burger with some banter. i enjoy going out and having a laugh , and i equally dont mind weekends chilling at home on the couch with a movie. As for house arrangements - I am very easy going and tidy, clean up after myself and easy to get along with. Im flexible with whoever I live with. Its not my first time doing the house share, so I know that everyone is different and theres always a solution so that everyone is happy. Wouldn't mind someone whos down for a few drinks or sharing a meal and some banter on the weekends! Cheers! Claudio
Hi there, names Erin :) I'm a second year uni student, work part time. Super easy going person, happy to share bathrooms and coordinate dinners or not depending on what you're up for. I would prefer a room mate that enjoys hanging out on occasion, whether that be staying in and having a Netflix binge or heading out for the night. I'm definitely a social person but also really value my alone time. Looking for a place preferably shared with young females but I'm pretty open to whatever pops up in a good location for me :)
I'm a full time casual, working in information management at UC. Currently located in Watson but am looking for a place near Bruce that has parking. I am a graduate student at UC as well as a musician, model actor in the industry. I'm super friendly, clean and love to game. So if you need a buddy and maybe a friendly animal to visit for a weekend or play. (if not all good) I would love to meet you. ROOM MUST BE UNFURNISHED!
22 year-old, clean, friendly new-grad health professional from North QLD with a miniature dachshund. I like to keep active but also enjoy a glass of wine or beer at the end of the day. I don't really know anyone in Canberra but love to meet new people - I'm very easy to get along with and have an open mind. Looking for a place that is pet-friendly as my dachshund is an inside dog. It would be great if I could find somewhere with a courtyard ect. for him. He is very quiet and loves cuddles from everyone. I'll be moving to Canberra after Christmas for work, but not sure how long I'll be in Canberra for as I'll be transferring to Sydney after a few months (could be 4, 6 or 12 months).
I'm a quiet 54 year old, who does not mind a chat. I have a reasonable sense of humour and don't mind a bit of science fiction. I've lived communally in the past, so I know how to share space with others. I do know my way around a kitchen (including how to clean up afterwards). I work full time in the APS and would largely keep to myself.
Hi! I'm a 24-year old male currently living in Sydney, looking for a place down in Canberra as I have recently accepted a graduate position with an animal health organisation; I'd be looking to move down quite soon (mid/late October - early November). I'm a pretty laid-back person, and not much of a party-er. Things I enjoy: tennis, bushwalks/hikes, baking/cooking, skiing, jogging, sleeping in, reading (mainly fiction), playing the keyboard (don't worry, I only play with headphones) and days at the beach. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to know!
Hi there! I've been in Canberra for just under a year now and I'm looking for a new place to live. I'm social, but like to have a bit of me time also. I'm always happy to share a bottle of wine and am always up for a chat and small Canberra adventures. I'm originally from Sydney so I am still back and forth a little. I love pets (especially dogs) but don't discriminate between any animals, as long as they like a good cuddle. I'm clean, I'm nice and am always up for some good banter.
I've lived out of home for about 3 years, I like to keep the house tidy and tend to procrasta-clean when studying. I have quite a lot of furniture that could be used in common areas. Work part-time in Gungahlin and Fyshwick, Study B. Heritage and Conservation the rest of the time at UC. Honestly, I'll have the occasional night out but am otherwise pretty quiet or not home. I'm happy to live in a situation where we hang out sometimes, share supplies and whatever else or, complete opposite end of the scale, happy to live completely separate lives under the same roof, doesn't bother me. I also have a 1 year old Kelpie cross Boxer, who's full of energy and very smart, so I'm looking for somewhere pet friendly preferably with a yard. I'm happy to live with other dogs too as shes very well socialized and loves other dogs, I walk her every day and am happy to take any extras on the walk too. So if you're also looking for a pet friendly place or have one available please get in touch!
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
I'm originally from central NSW, moved to Wollongong for uni and then came to Canberra in 2015 for a job in the public sector. I'm a seasoned veteran of the sharehouse, I'm super tidy and respectful of others' spaces. I haven't had any conflicts with my previous housemates to date and while I'm probably a bit more inclined to do my own thing than most I'm by no means a social hermit. I'm happy to accommodate your friends if the sentiment can be returned. I love traveling (actually I'm returning from a trip to the USA at the moment, hence looking for a place), also enjoy cycling and motorcycling, reading, Netflix binges, craft beer appreciation sessions and stimulating conversations about history, politics, society or pretty much anything if you're knowledgeable and passionate about it. If you think you could live with me or you have any other questions, please don't be shy! Cheers
Hi! My name is Flavia. I'm open-minded, multicultural, love to cook, eat great cheese, drink a glass or two & chat with flatmates, bush-walk, watch documentaries, World Cup Soccer & independent cinema. PS - I'm a carnivore but some of my best friends are vegetarians/vegans...I'm responsible, tidy & sociable & looking for like-minded, interesting people to share with. I grew up in Sydney and have travelled extensively throughout Australia & overseas for my work in TV media production. Working outside Australia as a Video Journalist ( a one-woman roadshow as researcher, journalist & camerawoman), my specialities were making videos for humanitarian agencies. Now I'm moving to Canberra to take up a full-time job in a humanitarian agency in early Oct. I have a daughter but she'll be based in Sydney, with her Dad, for these months that I'll be sharing house. I'm looking, in the short-term, for share accommodation from Oct-Jan17.
Hello! My name is Coco and I work part time for a start-up company in the city :) I'm in general a quiet person and tend to do my own thing during week nights. I respect people's privacy but wouldn't mind occasionally hanging out and having a chat. I'm a very organized and tidy person and living with me means you'll never need to worry about mess. In my spare time, I like working on my art projects such as knitting and painting. I'm a keen reader too!

Looking for a place to move into with friendly and responsible flatmates ideally a bit close to the city(no particular suburb).
