I'm a young lad from the beaches of east Australia with a love for graphic design and animation. I'm reliable, quiet and an easy talker. I've lived with many housemates in my two years in a share-house situation and I've met many fine folks along the way. I love old movies, good music and cooking great meals.
We are a chill, clean couple. We love cook-ups, gardening and bushwalking. We also value recycling, composting and trips to the farmers markets to buy cheeses to go with wine on the weekend. Happy to hang out and share dinners but respectful of privacy aswell. Not big fans of ordinary telly. Grace is public servant grad and Kieren is a graphic designer/animator. We are both well house trained. thank you kindly~
Hi Flatmates, Joss H (housemate 2015/2016) said I am "Fun, easy going and relaxed. Love to laugh but also very responsible and well mannered". 2015/16 I was living back home in Western Australia working as an Events Manager but have made the move back to the east coast to attend Canberra University and work part -time in HR. I have been staying with family in Murrumbateman while I found my feet here in the ACT but the commute is starting to take its toll. In Wa I was living with some married friends one of which works in Brazil so one minute it was a girls house and for every second month its a mixed house (I'm adaptable). After growing up in Margaret River I enjoy a good vino instead of a night out.My old housemate Emma D always calls me up for a laugh and a good dance around the house when I'm home. I love cooking dinners to catch up with my housemates but also enjoy a good balanced household where everyone does their own thing. If you think you could live with an outgoing, caring human, send me a message. Looking forward to hearing from you. *I have plenty of references if needed.
Work full time, like to head out some weekends, also enjoy staying in on the occasion with a movie or game. Like to stay entertained with people, music, sport, books, television, movies, walks, shopping, eating. I keep a pretty clean place but definitely not obsessive. I am very respectful of everyone and am pretty relaxed and friendly. Mostly non smoker but I can be guilty of the occasional cigarette or two. Been known to cook the best bolognese in town!
I'm moving to Canberra to begin a PhD at ANU. I lived in Canberra for four years during my undergrad but have been overseas for the last six months. About me: I study physics, I'm from NZ but moved to Australia almost ten years ago, I run competitively (and will often be out running in the evenings), love getting outdoors/hiking, and am keen to try growing a few veggies.
Hi :) I'm 25 and moving to Canberra for the first time on a temp contract on the 6th of August and need all the help I can get. I am looking for a short term to start off with and if I get extended, hopefully, longer term rental. As I don't know my way around yet, I am looking for something very close to work - Acton, Reid, Braddon and Turner would be ideal. However you have an apartment/house that is close to busses, and a short bus ride away, I'm definitely interested. Thanking you all in advance if you have read this and if you can help!! Lana
Hello, my name is Tim, I am a full time public servant 25 years of age. I am ideally looking for a place to live near Braddon, so I can walk or ride to work. About myself, I have been living in my current share house for around a year and a half. Unfortunately my room mates have decided to take the plunge, and move out with their significant others (like I am not good enough for them!). This, and the fact that the kettle keeps shorting the circuit board have convinced me its time to find a new place. I enjoy tea (hence why the kettle issue is such a concern), reading, computer games, and movies. I am also an avid music listener (don't worry I have headphones), and am always happy to discuss music with people. On the weekends I am generally found riding up and down hills on my bike, or lazing about in front of a screen. I am ideally looking for fun and friendly housemates who like to share a drink or a meal with each other, but also know when some alone time is necessary. If I sound like some one you might like to meet, please feel free to contact me. P.S I've listed a move out date of September 1st, but this is flexible.
I am 25 and work full time at the legislative assembly. I'm easy going and generally enjoy keeping to myself but enjoy a casual chat in the evening. I spend most weekends either out watching sport, playing myself (I play Aussie Rules and Ice Hockey) or just simply catching up with mates.
Hey there, I am Thomas. I grew up in Paris and studied Earth Sciences in both Paris and Zürich (five months). For the next three to four years I will be studying at the Research School of Earth Sciences of the ANU as a PhD candidate. I am definitely easy-going, love listening to music, enjoy meeting up and partying with friends as well as watching movies or playing games. Not the best cook, expect me to try, but success is not always there ! Most importantly I would say, always paying attention to others and ready to give a hand ! I am up for a Skype if you consider it helpful, just send me a message.
To my future flatmate(s) here is a little insight into what I, Savannah, would be like to live with! Not to blow my trumpet but i can be a real ball of fun, guaranteeing to keep life interesting, whilst also understanding the need for everyone's own down time! I'm also always in the mood for an alcoholic beverage or coffee for that matter and can also truthfully say I am a tidy person compared to the rest of the general population! Last but not least I promise to consistently amaze you with my ridiculous wardrobe full of some very peculiar outfits and bitsnbobs! Oh also have done the whole share house thing before so know the general role of things :-)

I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time. Remi is a 9 month old Australian Shepherd who loves people and other dogs. He sleeps outside but is very affectionate and will want to hangout with his roomates.
Hi, I'm a working professional also studying part time and now looking for a place to stay in Canberra during the week when I'm away from home. I would enjoy being in a musical household as I play guitar and I would enjoy sharing meals on occassions. I'm neat and tidy and respectful of others.
I am a friendly and easy going person, who always has a big smile on face no matter what. I am also very clean and tidy so home is always looking nice and cozy to all. I am 36 yo, full-time worker and originally from Brazil. I have been living in Sydney in the past 5 years. I will be moving down to Canberra due to a new job opportunity. I am a Childcare Educator who has been working over 8 year's in the Industry. I enjoy my friend´s company and love to make new friends from around the globe. I love also going out to dance but also enjoy quiet moments at home or sharing meals with one or two glasses of Moscato wines. I respect other's privacy and really understanding what does that mean. I really enjoy myself watching movies or Netflix/Foxtel series and adding some popcorn on top of that. It is the best combination ever. I love listening music to dance or calming myself down after long days at work. It is such a nice own therapy. I love simple things in life and they are indeed the most valuable for me. I highly appreciate places/people that brings peace and good energy into my soul. Its just matters a lot to me. I love working with children. They are such fabulous little angles full of joy and kindliness. Please if you feel I can fit myself into your place do not hesitate to contact me anytime you need. Look forward to hearing from you soon. Kind Regards, Gisele

Looking for a share house with 2 or 3 people max (Including myself), and which understands the need for space, but up for a meal a few times a week. NBN Internet is a big big positive.

I am a fun loving friendly person. I am currently working 2 jobs at the hamlet pizzeria and at the Canberra Theatre. I am looking to find a cool place with cool people. I have only just recently moved to Canberra so I am looking for friendly people to show me the ropes of Canberra. I am tidy, I enjoy going to the gym, playing sports and being active.
I have lived, worked and studied in more than 4 continents. Loved exploring every inch of the culture and history's of the countries I was residing in. Now working in a field that combines my passions and skills into one and I can make a significant difference in society. In my spare time, I am often hiking, riding my mountain bike, surfing or playing a round of golf. I like to meet new people and hear their unique adventures via a well-prepared curry. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jack
Easy to get along with middle aged guy, can hold a conversation if required, or am equally at home just relaxing in front of the tv. Very clean and tidy, and can cook up a storm in the kitchen!
So I'm 25 and currently working 2 jobs at the Canberra Theatre Centre and Grill'd which takes up most of my time. I'm pretty easy going and friendly but like to keep to myself. I'm also tidy and always clean up, love pets and I don't smoke. Pretty much able to move in whenever suits as I'm on a rollover lease for my current house.
We have just travelled the world and looking for a sea change now being back in Australia. Both very into the outdoors and fitness. Originally from the south coast and recently living in Canberra.
I'm a proudly omnivorous, non-smoking, communications professional of the straight 40+ male variety who is sans pet. Working as a contractor in Tuggeranong and eager to find a room in a location where the travel time is less of an ordeal. Those hours I'm at home and awake (which aren't many at the moment) will most likely be devoted to pursuing starving literary pursuits (because writing and journalism is SUCH a boom industry right now) but I usually write elsewhere. Basically, an arty-farty wanker with a pesky social conscience I have a passing interest in most sports, but do not have the passion for them I did in the past. Very happy to let housemates keep to their own devices. Just looking for a place that's relatively tidy and relatively quiet.
Rhys is 21, works for the Federal Government; and is studying at UC. Lisa is 22, works for the ACT Government; and is studying as well. We have lived in Canberra for four years now, and love to go cycling. Mountain Biking in particular. Any adventure sport or outdoor activity, really!
I am an artist and musician, currently staying in Sydney. Flexible when I am able to come down. I will work when I get to Canberra to save for a trip to New Zealand towards the end of the year. Looking to leave late November. I am a courteous, loving and kind housemate to live with. Reliable with rent. Preferably no bond to be paid. Thank you
Hello! I moved to Canberra in 2013 to study at ANU and then started working as a public servant at the beginning of this year. I'm a friendly, hilarious (in my unbiased opinion), neat and tidy person. I'm respectful of others and very open minded. I love cooking, reading, and doing arts and crafts!

Hey, I am a student completing my hospitality internship at The Hotel Kurrajong. Therefore, would be working part time. I am very easy going and fairly adjustable. I like to socialize but at the same time do my own thing. Really love to cook, play a few sports (cricket, football) and learning to play the guitar (New hobby :p). Would preferably look for an accommodation in south Canberra or city center as I do not have a vehicle or near a public transport stop for easy access. Cheers, Arvind
