Hello! I'm looking to start a new share house around the start of july, and invite keen participants to make contact. Ideally, looking for two others to go house hunting, find a new spacious place, and setup a comfy home for us all. About me : I'm an experienced house-sharer, considerate of others, clean, respectful, social / independent. Creative and inquisitive soul... Enjoy the outdoors, travelling, going on hikes, photography, nature, reading, seeing live music, catching up with friends, music festivals, eating (fairly) healthy. Prefer a nice, relaxed and reasonably quiet household where one can unwind and rest and sleep without interruption. Enjoy reading and listening to music, watching TV some nights (ABC / SBS / Netflix), playing acoustic guitar, tinkering around with creative musical projects, sharing a meal now and then, etc... Home Life : I enjoy social time when living with others but also value my own space. I like to keep things fairly clean, but i'm not a clean freak. Most of my friends are aged in their mid 30s to mid 40s so sharing around that age group would suit. Have basic furniture - couches, fridge, bed, TV, table, etc... If you think we'd be a good fit get in touch! Cheers Anthony.
Hi there, My beautiful old sharehouse in Dickson is being knocked down *sad face*. I work a three part time jobs, and pay bills/keep communal areas tidy/respect common property/clean/do do good things/dont do bad things/treat people who live next to me like they're my neighbour. I am into science, rockclimbing, camping, folk festivals and I am a muso. DW, my equipment comes with all important headphones! I am sociable, but happy to take downtime when I need. I'm always up for group dinners/hangs/movies/bevvies/tea, a house which feels like a home is important to me. Hit me up, I need somewhere to live!
I have recently graduated from ANU and I currently work part-time in the city. I'm from the South Coast, so love swimming and the beach. I also enjoy reading and going to see some live music when possible. I am a nice, tidy, friendly person who is always up for a chat/dinner/drinks/board games but I also like some time to myself. I currently live in a sharehouse in Ainslie, which I've been in for a few years so I know all the ins-and-outs of shared living and how to have a great time without stepping on toes!
Hi! I'm Ola. I'm moving from Brisbane to Canberra in about a month and I'm looking for a share house with friendly and relaxed people. I've lived in many share houses over the years in Brisbane and I am a friendly, clean and reliable housemate. I love crafternoons, coffee in the sun and weekend markets. If you think I'd be a great addition to your share house, please message me!
Hey ! My name is Jade I'm a 21yo female looking to team up and start a new house or move into an existing. I'm extremely tidy and I keep to myself sometimes however I am a friendly laid back person who's pretty easy to get along with & chat to ! I have an 11yo medium sized dog who is the love of my life, she's extremely friendly towards all humans and animals however I am allergic to cats so I can't live with one. Also looking into fostering another dog eventually so would need someone who is confident around dogs. I work 9-5 at a dog groomers in south side on weekdays so I am pretty much gone all day. Looking to move in around may as I'm currently in Belconnen & it's just not the place for me. Message me

Hello! I'm Lachlan, 28, full time public servant and an expat of Brisbane / adoptee of Canberra since 2016. I'm on the hunt for a new share house because the landlord has unfortunately decided to sell our homely current place. Here's a quick run down of me: - I'm a well trained housemate skilled in cleaning, bill paying and anything around the yard, - I have hobbies that keep me busy so I'm often out of the house (State Emergency Service, cycling / hiking, reading), - I'm away every few weekends and occasionally for work, - Enjoy a chat while cooking dinner, - My partying days are behind me, but I'm easy going on having friends / partners over etc. - I get along with just about everyone, and especially dogs and cats. Get in touch if you think we would get along! Cheers Lachlan
I am a clean and tidy person who is easy to get along with. I enjoy having a drink or two with friends and having the occasional dinner together. I do have a pet Devon Rex cat named Calvin who i would love to live with me but he doesn't have to if you do not allow pets. I work night shifts from wednesdays to saturdays so I often sleep through those days but enjoy my days off by relaxing and catching up with friends and family.
Hi, my name is Kaitlin. I am planning on moving to Canberra from the South Coast of NSW late May, early June. I start my Masters degree at ANU in July and will be working part-time. Looking for a share apartment to meet new people. I am neat, social and respectful! I love to try new things, and am looking forward to exploring Canberra a bit more! Looking forward to meeting like-minded people!
Hello hi! First things first, I do have a cat, his name is Oscar he’s orange and super friendly. He comes with references and is fully toilet/scratching tree trained. He’s 15 so he basically does nothing but lay around these days lol Apart from Oscar, I’m pretty easy going friendly. I work full time in retail so would be mostly out of the house during the day and in the weekends. I’d really like housemates that are social and friendly, I love a good chat and a wine or several! (Also happy to have Sunday arvo beers too) I can’t cook very well so Deliveroo tends to be a regular occurrence if that’s ok too. I would prefer own bathroom just because of Oscar and his litter tray and some form of parking is a must! Currently I do have an apartment full of furniture but that’s flexible! Open to suggestions for living arrangements ☺️☺️
I am a recent engineering graduate, working full-time for the public service. Originally from Melbourne, I enjoy playing flute, reading, and the odd bit of painting. I'm a fairly quiet person who likes to keep tidy surroundings but am OK with pets.
As a person I am very easy going, tidy and respectful to others. I am currently a single male at my early 30's. While I prefer having a private room where I can relax and study, I also love watching movies, listening music (off course in low volume), jogging, and playing outdoor games. I'm not really into big parties, but I'm always in for sitting together in a cozy group with my friends.
My name is Emilia, I've been in Canberra for almost a year now and work full time at a university. I'm looking to find a nice and friendly sharehouse that I can call my home for a little while :) I've sharehoused previously. I'm neat and tidy, I like to catch up and have a chat with housemates at the end of the day but also keep pretty busy trying to get out for a walk or some yoga after work, and respect the need for down time.
Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
Hi, I'm passionate about recycling, helping out, great at fixing things, and have a very sociable Jack Russell who loves attention and a ball. Currently renting in Gungahlin (last 14 months), I work full time in Civic (I.T.), and want to be closer to work so I can ride my bike ($16.70 for parking is ridiculous). I spend some weekends at coast or camping/visiting friends/kids interstate. Looking for a place that has a secure outside yard and a space to park the car.
I'm a full-time phd student. I'm friendly and easy-going. I respect others' privacy. I have a car so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays.
Originally from Melbourne, I work full-time and study at ANU part-time. I'm neat and easy-going. I like the outdoors, running and I have recently started doing some gardening. I am looking for a place for 3months - 1 year.
Hi there! I'm an civil engineering professional moving from Sydney to Canberra for work. I'm friendly and easygoing, most of my previous roommates in Sydney have became friends of mine and we are still in touch. Generally speaking I'm very quite and love reading, working, watching movies and play games by myself, but I also enjoy spending time with roommates and friends to cook, play or simply grab a drink and chat from time to time. I'm currently looking for a long term place to stay, I would stay for 1 year or longer if the place and roommates are suitable. Feel free to call or message me, txt msg is preferred. Many thanks!
Hello! I am a friendly working professional (jewellery sales) with many years experience living in share houses. I enjoy having a clean, relaxing space to live in and love some social time (boardgames!!) with housemates and friends. Although I do understand the need for personal time, space and privacy as well. When I'm not working I enjoy being out in nature or making and viewing any kind of art! I come with one well behaved ferret who lives in her hutch outdoors. I look forward to hearing from you soon if you think I'm a good fit for your house!

Public servant Quiet, thoughtful and respectful person Non-drinker 10 years experience of share housing Leaves the kitchen how I found it (None of this leaving dishes in the sink crap!) For fun: Movies, TV series and video games when it's cold and miserable. Ride motorbikes when the sun is out. :D
I'm an Australian male in his mid-30s just moved to Canberra. I have funding for about 2 years to do research, broadly in the area of sustainability, at the ANU. I'm a quiet but friendly guy happy for a chat or a shared dinner but also respectful of others' personal space. Favourite hobbies are outdoor activities (hiking, skiing, climbing, etc.) and dancing (lindy hop and blues). I am vegetarian but OK with meat being cooked in the same house! I've previously sharehoused in Canberra and Germany. The last couple of years I've been living by myself (in Sweden, where sharehouses are not so common) and while it's nice I do miss having people around!
Hi, Myself and my four year old dog (she is very well behaved and great with other dogs) are moving to Canberra in May. I am very clean, quiet, considerate and friendly. I'm happy to do my own thing but am also sociable and happy to chat :).
Hi! I'm Roshen from Sri Lanka. I'll be studying at ANU mid-June 2018 onwards and I intend to work on a part-time basis. I have attended few international conferences and have worked with people from different nationalities and cultures, I have been able to move along with them easily. Therefore, I have no trouble in mingling with people from different backgrounds and I am sociable and friendly. I am the sort who won't trouble anyone and prefer helping whenever needed. I value peace of mind and hence, am neat and organized. I love listening to classical music and a fan of swimming.
I am a very easy going friendly nature person, love to meet new people of diverse culture. I lived in Sydney for more than 2 years so very much familiar with the style of living in Australia. Most importantly, I am a person like give respect and take respect. Thankyou
I am a young professional with a full time job in the city centre. I am neat and tidy, friendly and mostly keep to myself although I am quite personable and easy to get along with. I am considerate of others and expect the same in return from my flatmate with regards to noise levels, guests, communal areas etc.
35yo Female, non-smoker/drinker looking for options to rent around the Belconnen/Gungahlin areas or Hall, from sometime in May. Would ideally like a granny flat, but willing to consider sharing. I work full time in a professional role, My 2 sons spend time with me 2 nights a fortnight. They are easy going and we will mostly be out of the home when they're visiting. I am friendly and easy to get along with, although do like my own privacy. I have 2 cats that I would love to be able to bring with me if possible, otherwise I have an alternative foster arrangement available. I'd love to hear from you if you've got something to offer. Many Thanks!
WHO: I'm a full-time worker who is clean and reliable but also very quiet. I am happy for a chat but I do tend to keep to myself, so prospective housemates must be okay with this. I’m vegan, non-drinking and non-smoking (but don’t mind if you’re not), and I am queer-friendly and pet-friendly. Reference from current landlord/housemate available. WHAT: I’m looking for a tidy place that I can come home to after work and on weekends knowing I can relax in peace and quiet (no ad hoc parties!). I have my own furniture and am hoping to fit a single bed, 2 chests of drawers, a bookcase and desk in my room. I also have a small amount of my own cookware for the kitchen, if it can be accommodated. Ideal housemates will be tidy, responsible, and considerate of others. I don’t mind if you drink/smoke/eat meat as long as there’s no smoking indoors or disruptive drunkenness. WHERE: Anywhere in the ACT, so don’t be put off if your suburb isn’t in my preferred list. WHEN: I need to move by June 30, but other than that I'm pretty flexible with moving date. June would be preferable but earlier can be negotiated; I need to be able to give at least 2 weeks notice. HOW: If you would like to meet me and show me your place, please send me a message (with any extra helpful info that is not in your listing), and we'll go from there.
Hi, Im Cassidy im a full time ANU student studying language. I live a pretty quiet lifestyle, im either at uni or studying. But im also friendly. Im clean, tidy, quiet and reliable and i dont mind doing my share with household duties. comfortable with any animals. Ive had experience renting rooms so i know how it works well enough. It would be great to find a place near ANU, walking distance would be amazing, but i understand its not as likely, so somewhere near a bus stop is great. Get in touch, please contact me if you have a room that is suitable.
I'm very easygoing and always up for any activity with my housemates. However I know how to behave and to keep the place clean as I've been sharing houses and flats for 4 years now. Just message me and I'd be delighted to have a conversation about how to cook pasta with you.
I am a male postgraduate student at ANU, 30, and working at Civic on part time basis. I am sociable and a responsible person who greatly values other people's privacy and wishes. I currently stay on campus but my contract ends in June. So any place located close to ANU and Civic will do for me.
Hey! I'm a post-grad student, working part time. Looking for a fun and friendly share house, preferably in the inner north or otherwise bruce/gungahlin. I'm easy-going and love to have a laugh, clean but not pedantic, and am generally pretty busy throughout the week with uni, work, yoga and Brazilian jiu jitsu. I'm always up for a few glasses of wine, Netflix marathons, or getting out and about. I'd prefer to live with females and am flexible on move in date :)
Hi, I'm Lauren. I've recently got an administrative full time job in the public service and looking to move in mid July. I'm neat, quiet and easy to get along with. I like the occasional glass of wine and watch some TV in the evenings. I will be interested in how your day went but will respect your privacy at the same time. I'm also quite interested in french language and culture so if you have any passion or knowledge of this too, that would be amazing!
Night shift nurse in emergency department at Canberra Hospital looking for a place inner south or north side. I'm pretty clean and tidy but not pendantic. I like to hang out with my housemates but enjoy alone time too. I train in Muay Thai most evenings and I love reading, Netflix, and playing guitar. I also sleep like a log so a bit of noise in the house while I'm on night shift doesn't bother me at all. Looking for some cool housemates, I love pets too so that is a big bonus for me. I also have a PS4 and a healthy competitiveness in COD to contribute xx
I am a 29 yrs old PhD student at ADFA, UNSW. I am looking for someone friendly, cordial, cooperative. Neat n tidy...But not cleaning freak n peace taking. I don't smoke so better to be non-smoker flatmates. All female flats r preferable.
Easygoing, full time government drone and part time psychology student. I love being able to get together with house mates but love my own time too. I’m respectful, likeable, always pitch in and just looking forward to meeting a few new faces around Canberra! I don’t have a set move date, just been in my current place 3 years and looking for a change. An ensuite would be great though!
