Law graduate heading over from Melbourne to start in one of the APS Graduate programs in Canberra. I am a clean, respectful and environmentally conscious person who knows how to balance my downtime with a good wine and cheese night :D
I am 21 and am in my 3rd year of studying Communications in Media and Public Affairs at UC. I love the gym, hiking and dog memes. I am sociable but also like my own time. Very clean, tidy and considerate. I love a good cup of tea, glass of wine and a chat but also respect private time! I have a small dog who is house trained, easy to live with and just wants love!
Friends call me Kichu. I'm moving to Australia from India for my PG @ ANU on Feb 1, 2018. I like to sing, percuss and read. I can get along with any personality or culture. I am a good teacher and can talk about science, technology and Indian music for all day long. I love pets even though I don't have any. I play CoD and CSGo. I'm a GoT BBT fanboy. I'm new to Australia might need help in adjusting to it. My budget is $125 - $140 per week.
I'm a very clean, tidy and easygoing girl. A young professional working full-time. Just relocated to Canberra from Sydney. Looking for flatmates that I can get along with - love outdoor activities like bushwalking, swimming and jogging
Hi there! I'm Luke, a friendly, happy, clean & tidy potential housemate. I work full time in the public service with a background in Design as well as elite sport -Athletics. I'm either looking to move or looking for two new housemates to move into my current home -a townhouse in Watson. I enjoy nice wine, food -cooking and eating and music and am pretty social but also respectful of others personal time. I stay very active outside work and enjoy many interests. If I sound like someone you might live with drop me a line, text or send me an email. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a nice and quiet roommate, and i keep to myself and out of the way if need be. Saying that, I'm always up to do anything, as i love company. I can cook a mean Paella, and like to cook with friends. I'm also an avid gamer, so gaming with a flatmate would be the best :). Right now i am unemployed, but consistently looking for jobs, so shouldnt be long.
Hi! I'm Alyce! I'm originally from the Gong but have moved to Canberra this year to start working for the public service. I'm looking for a nice, clean, friendly share house preferably in the inner north. Big on travel, exercise, dogs, the outdoors and the usual :) I'm looking to move in to a place before Christmas! Looking to start a share place together or a place that's already established. Hit me up for more info Cheers!
My name is Arius, I've been in Canberra awhile now and work as an environmental lawyer. I'm definitely a stress-free housemate, like to keep my home tidy and share the odd meal either at home or at the pub. I keep busy rock climbing and hiking and other outdoor pursuits.
Hey all, I'm 22 and a recent graduate moving to Canberra in 2018 for a full time job. I'm fun, respectful, and happy to hang out but also enjoy my own space. I am looking to move in somewhere for at least 12 months with people who are social, relaxed, and fun to be around. Send me a message if you have any questions :)
Hello! I am a young professional in my late twenties. I am often described as thoughtful, playful, and tolerant by those who know me. I consider myself very tidy, clean, and respectful. I am looking to share a house/flat of mixed gender, ideally with other professionals, but students are fine too. Preferably 3-4 people (including myself). I love animals, so pets are not a problem. (That said, I do not have any pets of my own and won't be bringing or acquiring any). I love good food, outdoors, exploring new places, trying new things, exercise and lead an active lifestyle. Well maybe not as much as those who live in lycra and compete in sports... but I do enjoy the fresh air. I also enjoy being a home body, and would be happy curled up on the couch with a glass of red, playing board games with whomever is up for a chat. I am a clean and organised person, but I don't go nuts with cleaning rosters. I believe we're all capable of pitching in with the cleaning when needed and when it's not inconvenient to do so. That said, I'd prefer not to live in a pig sty. If I sound like the right flatmate to you, shoot me a message, introducing yourself and the other tenants. Thanks! P.S. I do want to be part of a home and get to know you all, not just living with flat mates, however I have a preference to do my own cooking. Happy to participate in house dinners every now and then, especially the spontaneous ones, but I don't want to be committed to three different dinners cooked by three different people each week. My cap for shared dinners is probably once a week i.e. someone different takes a turn to cook every Tuesday, rather than three different people cooking three different days in the same week. P.P.S. I cannot live without a dishwasher. They are the best thing ever invented and I will use it religiously. Criteria: - Built in Robes (with lots of hanging space and shelves). This is non-negotiable. - Room that can fit a Queen Bed, side table, lots of other boxes/things etc. this is non negotiable too. - Car port/ undercover parking with automatic doors (highly preferable, but could be overlooked if everything else was perfect) - En suite (preferable, but not a must. Happy to share a bathroom with one other, but no more). - Lots of storage space (inside the house - not a storage cage) - Dishwasher - Housemates that are not hermits - Age of household: 25-35. Ideally, I would like to live with people who are around my age, and are social. - I do not want to live with infants, young children, or a family/home stay style arrangement. - I do not want to live in Gunghalin, Dunlop, Harrison, or Crace - sorry, it’s just too far from work.
Female, full time student, studying law. In my final year and applying for internships. Part time working in retail and keen to move on up and out into the law field asap. I keep to myself most of the time. Though I do like the regular movie night and training sessions. I have a dog, titan, that's in training for mind dog program. So he is well behaved, house trained and loving. Would love to remain living in Canberra but it's getting pretty hard to find pet friendly accom as a one person. North Canberra would be my preference... anywhere lol. Keen for team ups
I'm moving to Canberra in January to begin work as a 2018 APS grad. Currently I'm finishing up my psychology degree in Newcastle, then will be travelling in Europe for a couple of months and moving down to Canberra after the new year. I start work on January 31 but happy to move in earlier and get settled into a place. Interested in meeting new people, getting to know Canberra, playing sports etc. I'm looking to a find a place within walking/cycling distance to Civic and ideally close to shops, restaurants. Prefer a place where everyone is clean and tidy, friendly, open for a chat and just generally laid back.
I'm professional, quiet and tidy, looking for temporary accommodation while trying to resolve property arrangements as the result of marriage breakdown. Outside of work I volunteer with the SES, and play hockey and cricket.
I am currently relocating to Canberra to complete an honours degree in Science. I will also be working part time. I am a fun, enthusiastic person who is happy to hang out or take some time to chill on my own. I enjoy cooking, the outdoors, and trying not to kill small plants. I'm looking for a nice comfortable home that is welcoming and warm (or cool in the summer), that's not too far from ANU as I don't want a long commute. Hit me up if you think I might fit in your household :)
Hey all, I'm a full-time uni student by day and bartender by night. Very respectful of the common rooms i.e. kitchen, bathroom, laundry and lounge rooms. Happy to do my fair share to keep our place tidy. Pretty easy going gal that's ready to move out and in with some equally chill people.
Hi there! I am a student moving to Canberra for 1 year to work while completing a postgraduate degree. I love animals but sadly will be leaving my dog at home. I am typically a quiet person when at home who prefers to relax by going outside or watching videos/movies. I clean up after myself and would expect my housemates also take care of common areas. I prefer to cook my own meals at home most of the time but do enjoy going out to try new places to eat. I will have a busy schedule so wish to find a place that is calm and quiet. Hope to be in touch soon!
I have lived out of home for the past four years, and always received excellent feedback after inspection - I am SUPER clean and tidy, and genuinely enjoy cleaning/gardening. I am very friendly, although I am currently in the final year of my PhD, so I haven't been particularly social lately! But I love a bit of housemate banter in the evenings (and mornings - I'm a morning person!) and would totally be up for weekend adventures if we're ever stuck for things to do. I love the outdoors, and am a keen trail runner, skiier, and swimmer. I'll be starting at Geoscience Australia at the beginning of February, but will be finishing off my PhD in my own time so will likely be fairly busy for the first few months. I'll also aim to be out and about exploring most weekends, and will become a regular at whatever are the best/closest farmers markets. I am vegan, and I LOVE to cook (and also bake). I love animals - I don't have any pets but would be more than happy to be a step-pet-mum for pets belonging to house mates. I do also enjoy a bit of a quiet laze around in front of the TV in the evenings.
I am down to earth and easy going individual with a quite demeanour, plus I hate dirty dishes. I have travelled a large part of the world and met a lot of people in my travels from around the globe. I have often traveled to follow the snow to go snowboarding and see the world, however after finishing my uni degree I am now looking to settle down and focus on my future. I love the outdoors, nature and being active; I enjoy a good movie and some games or even a group board game and a beer or wine with housemates and friends. Can get along well with pretty much anyone. I would be looking for a quite little spot with some like minded people. Available to move in from the start of February 2018. Cheers.
