I'm a graduate from Sydney moving to Canberra to work full-time in the APS. I'm quiet, neat and tidy, and enjoy the occasional conversation over a good meal.
Hi! I am from Melbourne and moving to Canberra in February 2019 for a full-time graduate job at ANU. I am looking for a room to rent or people to share a place with. I enjoy swimming, binging Netflix and relaxing with friends. I like to go out with my friends and have a good time but mainly love to stay in and have a quiet night at home. I am open to sharing meals together and having a friendly roommate environment. I'll never say no to a chat! I'm happy to share chores around the house and keep communal spaces clean and tidy.
Hey, I am a 29year old ICT professional, working full time in Canberra. I have two horses, so that keeps be very busy. I am quiet, clean and friendly housemate. I can move approx 20th Jan or can try and negociate earlier with my current landlord. Originally from the UK.
I’m super chill and easy going, I’m a clean freak so I’ll keep the house nice and tidy. I love music so it’ll be a constant whether it’s playing out loud or just through earphones. Currently I’m working at a winery doing and apprenticeship and working at zambrero on the side. Yeah
Hi I’m Amani I’m very tidy and easy going. Almost never home if I am I most likely sleeping 😴. Very polite respectful and keep to myself. I recently moved to ACT last year and looking for a new place in a shared accommodation if you think you would be able to find me a spot in your place feel free to msg me. I’ve had experience living in a sharehouse in the past so not to worry I am very familiar with the boundaries 😊
Heya, The name is Amr. I'm 32, male, I’m a uni teacher (media production stuff). Been sharehouseing for the last 10 years, never missed rent or a bill. I'm pretty tidy, respectful, I take out the trash and I can even do your taxes! (note: that the tax thing was just a joke. Yes technically I 'could' do them, but I probably won't.) I don’t really cook much so I never hog or mess up the kitchen. In the past, if roomies did the whole meal sharing thing I'd usually buy takeout of their choosing (unless its lobster and caviar :P ). I'm friendly and social but I do keep myself busy with my hobbies/work (filmmaking) so I don’t get in anyone's way. So I’m always happy to talk your ears off or to just do my thang. Feel free to call or email. Amr
Hi there! I am looking for a private room with an en suite or private bathroom. I have to ferrets who live in a cage in my room and do not smell as the cage is cleaned regularly. I am open to keeping them outside. I would like to move into a house with trustworthy people, preferably -30yrs old. I like too live environmentally friendly and enjoy garden work and looking after pets.
I have 2 bartending jobs so I’m not around the house very often but I do enjoy being social with my flat mates when I get the chance! I’m quite laid-back, I like taking trips to the beach and the occasional night out. I also spend a fair amount of time with my mates or at the gym! I really enjoy living in a clean house so am happy to take up chores. Overall, I’m quite outgoing but really enjoy my own space.
Hey everyone, I m an airline pilot moving from Melbourne to Canberra at the end of the month, looking for a place preferably close to the airport.. I will spend some nights away for work and work shift work. I would prefer an ensuite if possible. I am easy going, don't mind cooking, and get along with anyone. Enjoy a quiet night in watching Netflix and talking crap just as much as going out and seeing a movie. hobbies include ultimate frisbee, car racing, water-skiing, motorbikes and hanging with friends
Hi! I'm looking to move to Canberra from the South Coast in Jaunary 2019. I'm quiet, friendly, clean, and organised. I love animals, however don't have any of my own. I spend my free time outside of work listening to music and seeing live music, reading, and enjoying movies.
Hi, my Name is Theresia Raphael but everyone calls me Tessa or Tess whichever I really don't mind. I am a 23-year-old professional relocating to Canberra from Perth for full-time work. I am clean especially in the area of the kitchen, bathroom, and toilet. Personal privacy and space is key a thing for me as I want to ensure no one feels invaded and most of all respect for one other. I am looking for a room to rent, as I am currently in Perth I won't have time to inspect, I am okay with just moving in and going on from there. I am looking to move in on either 8th or 9th of December.
I am moving up from Melbourne to study a Masters Degree in Neuroscience at ANU. I am looking for somewhere clean and reasonably quiet. I enjoy reading, board games, going for walks, and chatting about interesting topics. I have experience living in two different sharehouses, and am a big believer in establishing clear expectations and in everyone doing their part to keep everything clean, tidy, and running smoothly.
I'm keen to teamup to find the right place in the right location. I'm looking for a place in the Gungahlin area (not Bonner) with a group of people, preferably pet friendly so I can bring my old dogs. My current lease runs out in January but my move date is pretty flexible some time in the new year. I have a whole living room and most kitchen stuff so moving in with people that don't have those will probably work out since I'm not keen on putting the stuff in storage. I am NOT looking for anywhere outside of the general Gungahlin area at this stage, don't message me about your house in Dunlop or southside or what ever. A little about me: I'm a public service contractor that's lived in Canberra my whole life. I'm pretty out going and active I gym every day, ride motorbikes and love to long board and snowboard. When I'm home I usually veg out on my computer and keep to myself but always up for a chat.
Hey hey hey. I'm a full time worker. But I don't work the average 9-5 hours. Start a little later and therefore finish a little later. I'm incredibly tidy and clean. Like to think I am easy going. Can provide a washing machine, fridge, television, dining table and other communal furniture. Not looking to share with more than one other person. Any further questions don't hesitate to shoot me through some questions!
I am a part-time Student at the university of Canberra and have been employed full-time in my chosen industry from the past 2 years. I have a 17Wk old Bernese Mountain Dog (Apollo) who is the most laid back bear you will ever meet, he comes everywhere with me (including inside the house) to uni etc and is only at home during the day on his own 3 days a week as I put him in day care :) He is very well behaved doesn't bark, bite but does sleep and snuggle a lot. Ideally I will need to find somewhere that has a decent sized back yard but do not mind if there are other pets as Apollo Loves everything and everyone. Please send me a message, I would love to hear from you :)
I'm originally from Adelaide and I work as a data analyst at the Department of Education. In my spare time I'm usually in my room watching TV shows, playing video games, taking naps or completing online courses. I'm looking for a place where: - it's not too far from public transport - I have the option to use ethernet cable rather than WiFi for Internet access
- Moving from Melbourne in Early/Mid January to start a full-time job in the public service and currently looking for a room in a share house. - Pretty active, enjoy watching movies, reading, always down for a relaxing drink - Relaxed and easy going, likes to keep things neat and organised - Happy to chat and socialise but value my own space (hence I can appreciate other people's need for their own space). More of a quiet weekend person, but more than happy to hang out with roommates
From the Gold Coast originally, I’m looking for a room to rent from Feb-Jul 2019 so I may complete my final semester of undergraduate studies at the ANU. Friends describe me as easygoing, quiet and respectful. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you can recommend a place to settle in or have any further questions. Thanks!

Michelle will be working 2 jobs and will be doing some study when she can. We're both pretty quiet people, enjoy getting outdoors and adventuring when we have any spare time. Usually, one of us will be working or studying. We are both easy going people and looking to move pretty much asap! we have some furnishing if needed, we've both been living together for the past 18 months. Ideally, We are chasing a place that has a bathroom/ensuite if possible. Thank you! Happy for you to swing me a txt to chat

That being said, I love a Netflix/Stan binge too. I like meeting new people but also enjoy my own space. I’ve lived in share housing before so am great with living with others. Send a message if you have a room that fits my description :)
Hey my Name is Jono, I'm a 26 year old carpenter that runs his own buisness. I'm currently looking for a new house to live as my current roomies who I've lived with since i first moved to Canberra in 2012 have gotten hitched and are moving to NZ, so this then leaves me on the streets. I enjoy all things sport and music as well as fishing which sees me bringing home fresh fish quite regularly, I'm always up for a beer and a chat as well as some banter.
I'm currently studying community services at CIT Bruce. Not employed at the moment but looking for work and money isn't a problem. A bit shy at times but I enjoy socialising. I'm capable of cleaning up after myself and pitching in to maintain upkeep. I'm also respectful of others and their space. In my spare time I enjoy sitting down and watching something or playing games. I also enjoy exercising and trying to stay healthy. I'm looking for a place to move into, preferably close to Bruce. I'm pretty flexible on everything as long as the people I'd be moving in with are cool.
Hey there, I am a 23 year old from Brisbane who is moving to Canberra in January to start a graduate Job. I like to think that I'm an easy-going guy - I love a chat, but I can also give you plenty of space if that's what you're after. I am tidy, respectful, and most importantly, I am punctual with my rent payments. I am pretty flexible on the rent period and the move date - so long as it's around mid-early January.
Respectful, clean and tidy 25 year old carpenter. I work early mornings so am up at around 5.30am Monday to Friday but have learnt how to get prepared quietly as to not disturb housemates. I'm a fairly active guy and spend a bit of time in the gym after work but also a bit of a gamer and like to jump online to unwind after a hard day at work. I am friendly and don't mind the occasional backyard beer on a nice summer day but my party days are finished now and would hope for the same in a housemate(s).
I will move to Canberra from Germany early next year (depends all on the visa) to start a job at CSIRO but the date is not set yet. I am in my early 30s and really easy going. I like to socialize with people but also prefer to have some time on my own. Sharing a beer or a glas of wine is fine with me but I am done with excessive partying. I love cats and dogs and won't mind to watch out for them. On my days off I like to go hiking or just relax. I am not really into sports but I would like to change that in the future. Because I move far away from home I expect to have friends visiting me in Australia from time to time so it would be great if they could stay in the apartment as well during their visit and don't have to find a hotel (it's already expensive to come to Australia). I have lived in shared appartments before for 5 years (first 2 girls, then 2 guys) as well as on my own. I've been to Canberra before on a holiday but I am not familiar with the city or it's neighborhoods so I rely a bit on you to tell me where best to live.
Quiet part-time stay at home worker with two small shih-tzu cross dogs looking for suitable long-term accommodation anywhere in the Greater CBR area. Conscientious, considerate of others, and respectful of privacy. Social as required, and always clean and tidy. References are available on request.
An IT Professional, starting on new project in canberra. I am easy to get along with, well organised, reliable, clean/tidy and quiet. I am respectful of others and their space. I enjoy cooking, travel, going for walks. I will have my own car. If you feel you might have a room or a place that would be suitable, please do not hesitate to contact me. My preferred locations are with in 10 Km of Deakin and I can be a little flexible on budget if it's the right place.
Looking for a relaxed and tidy household in North Canberra. I’m quite handy around the home, respectful of your space but do love a chat over a cup of tea. After working my full time job as a Law Clerk in the city, I usually watch a good Netflix series, cook a hot meal (spaghetti bolognese is my go-to), or bake yummy treats. On weekends I am part of the local Fishing Club so i go on coastal trips often, or I go back to Wagga and visit family. If not, I can typically be found wherever they serve a chicken parmi! I have a well behaved Maltese x Poodle dog part time, and would preferably like a room with my own bathroom or sharing with only one other person. I’d love for you to message me if you have a room that fits this description!
