I am a 42yo female working 6 days a week as a store manager. I am very tidy and responsible. I am looking for a nice quiet accomodation preferrably with 1-2 people. I am often away, have no pets, my children live interstate. I am nice and easy however keep my distance and do not invade other people's private space. I am planning to move interstate in a few months time but have no particular date set, so my preferred length of stay can be smth from 3 months to 12 months or so, may be a bit longer.
I am a clean and tidy, friendly, easy going, relaxed housemate that is just as happy to socialize as well as do my own thing. Looking for a new place to move in to as soon as possible for at least several months while I am trying to sell my house and buy a new one. I haven't rented for a while but I am always reliable with all rent and bills. I am a builder and have a ute and trailer that I need to be able to park safely and a few tools that I would like to store in the corner of a lock up garage if possible.
I work at a pet shop and have a stable income and can provide proof if needed. I am friendly, tidy and responsible. I understand needing alone time but am also up for having a chat and hanging out. I do have two cats but they are both very well looked after. I am more than happy to get my long hair cat shaved to reduce hair loss and get both of them gel caps for their nails if you are worried about them scratching things. I have furniture for the bedroom so that is not an issue. I am happy to meet up before finalising things to see if i am a good fit for your home. My lease in my current rental property ends on the 11th of May so will be available to rent from that day onwards. If you have any other questions feel free to message me.
Won't be around much due to work and weekend activities, quiet and considerate, also active in house activities such as cooking, cleaning, tv, etc.
I'm a 26 year old who's lived in Canberra for a couple of years now. I'm fairly laid back and enjoy all the regular things (film, tv, music, friends). I've shared accommodation since leaving home at 17, and count myself as a decent and trustworthy housemate. I like my personal space/time and am more than happy to accommodate for others. I also genuinely enjoy house work so keeping a house clean is no issue.
My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I like to cook and tend to eat at home on weeknights. Happy to share house hold chores to keep the place tidy. I own property in Perth and my family lives in Perth. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. Looking for a room to share where parking is a possibility (Okay with off-street parking, as long as there is no time limit on parking) and with easy access to public transport to Russell Offices. I have temporary accommodation sorted, so looking for a share house with long term potential. Happy to provide character references from colleagues and friends in Perth as well as a work colleague from Canberra.
We're quiet and respectful. As we're both studying full time we are quite busy but like to hang out and watch tv or game. Ben is completing his masters in engineering at ANU and I'm finishing studying ecology at UC.
I am a 34 yr old IT Professional and a fun loving, easy going, clean and tidy person. In my free time, I prefer to listen to music, go on trek or read technical and non-technical books. I am working at Instraclustr, UC. So, I am looking for an accommodation around Bruce or Belconnen 2617, ACT area. I would prefer to stay in a calm and furnished Private room close to public transport. I am married and have two kids but they currently live in India.
I will be commencing study at UC doing a double degree of health and psychology and will also be transferring my current job and working part-time in retail! I'm looking for either 1 big bedroom or 2 bedrooms for my daughter and myself (she will be 3 years old), she will only stay with me from Monday to Friday and I will commute her back to her dad's house on weekends. She will be enrolled in care Mon - Fri surrounding my work and study so the only times we will really be home is mornings and afternoons! I'm an extremely tidy person and don't like hanging around the house my work/study load permits a day off! I don't smoke but don't mind an occasional glass of wine on the weekend or after a big day :)
Hello! I'm currently studying Vet Nursing at CIT and looking for part-time employment. I have not yet moved out of my family home before, so unfortunately I don't have any references from previous houses. I am pretty sociable and like to occasionally go out with friends or have them come to mine for dinner or a few drinks (when it's suitable for everyone who lives in the household). Would love to find a house that also doesn't mind the odd drink or two and chat. I do however, respect the importance of privacy and needing quiet/alone time. Happy to live anywhere but do prefer the Northside of Canberra.
I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who is a full time self-published writer and performer. I spend most of my days writing (plus admin and marketing my books) in cafes. I have been a counsellor, cleaner and public servant. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house-sitting or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. I like reading and going into the bush and I can cook well. I cannot drive as I have a genetic eye disorder but my brain seems to compensate a lot; so other than driving I am quite functional. I am pretty clean and tidy. I can pretty much talk about anything and I am quite 'chilled.' Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
Happy, easy going, clean, enjoy cooking, reliable - especially with rent & bills. Moving from Sydney to Canberra to be closer to family. I have a precious motorbike as well as a car so some garage space for the bike and some tools would be appreciated. Thanks for looking at my profile.
Im an easy going 29 year old male who will be working as a news camera operator in Parliament House, moving from Sydney at the end of April. I have lived in many share houses before so have no problem with getting along with people and doing my part within a household. I love my sport and having a quiet beer. Originally from Parkes NSW and lived in Wagga for years so Canberra isn't far from home.
Hi, well I'm a student that's studying at UC. I work at a Newsagent and as an AFL Umpire. I like spending time with my mates and family in my spare time. I'm really easy to live with as I do my own thing and don't tend to get in people's way, but I also do socialise and am a people's person. I do more than my fair share around the house and am honest as can be
Hi! My name is David, I am 24 years old and I am originally from a small town in NSW called Cootamundra. I am looking forward to experiencing the delights of Canberra (especially the mountain biking) and keen to make new friends! I am easy going, punctual, friendly and always clean up after myself (it's always nicer to live in a clean house). I am also very into skiing and plan to do plenty of trips up to the snowy mountains during winter so if you are into that sort of thing or want to try it out, I'd be more than happy to drive you up!
Full-time public servant who plays a bunch of sports. I dont mind a beer and hanging out on the weekend but respect peoples privacy. Im really easy going and easy to get along with.
