Hi we are looking for a new place as the current place has become unavailable for new lease and my flat mates are moving interstate. Ideally we need our own bathroom and a large room to live and sleep in. I have a small well trained dog that is never left at home alone. My partner is from Thailand and I am Australian. I am a self employed landscaper and I spend most of my time working. Sometimes I have to work from home so a room big enough for a desk is desirable. I am well educated and I can’t live with people who regularly drink alcohol or use drugs. Sometimes I have a few beers but not often. I’d like to live with people who are well educated and see things how it is. I need flexibility to be able to move out anytime, no contracts or hefty deposits. I try to pay rent well in advance. I have a small well trained dog that comes to work with me during the week and often stays at my mother’s house on weekends. A room with outdoor access would be good. We return to Thailand several times per year. So Every few months we are gone for a month. I don’t steal or lie, I don’t have undesirable visitors. I pay rent ahead or on time.
LOOKING FOR HOME TO MOVE INTO IN JAN/FEB 2019. I will be looking for a home in Brisbane to move into in Jan/Feb 2019 as I begin my psychology degree at UQ at the end of February. I'm currently on the Gold Coast. Looking for a home: • Close to UQ in St Lucia (closer the better) • With a medium-large size room with lots of natural light, a ceiling fan and at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, wardrobes and mirror. • With a yard or deck that gets a decent amount of sun throughout the day. • With undercover parking preferred • With nearby public transport to and from UQ, fortitude valley, and the city preferred I'm positive and ambitious, and a super organised, respectful and open person :) Always eager to cook, clean and do my bit around the house. I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. My major passions are nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
Hey there I am looking for a place to rent anywhere from Mt Gravatt to Salisbury. I do security work most days Monday to Friday starting early in the morning, I am flexible with my length of stay if we all get on and everything is cool I'm open to staying longer. I keep myself busy by going on hiking trips, earning extra money, reading, cooking, yoga, TV and being out and about when I can. I'm also keen on finding a gym bro I enjoy having a laugh with my roommates but I am also respectful of peoples privacy and quite time also i'm great when it comes to keeping the place clean and ill never leave dishes soaking for days on end. If you think we can get along and share some fun times shoot me a message
Hey! A little about me... I'm in my 3rd year of a psychology degree at Griffith Uni (Mt Gravatt campus). I'll be starting honours next year which I'm pretty excited about! I'm looking for a quiet, peaceful, relaxing home where I can recharge and chill. I'm a friendly person with a good sense of humour who enjoys a chat and a laugh, but I usually like to quietly do my own thing when I'm at home. I tend to spend lots of time in my room studying! (Super exciting, I know!) For fun, I perform improvised theatre which I've been doing for a year. I'm a non-smoker and would prefer to live with other non-smokers. I'm also allergic to cats, so I sadly have to avoid homes with cats in them. :( I'm a respectful, considerate, and reliable person who always pays the rent/bills on time and tidies up after myself.
Hey! I’m looking for accommodation for at least 9 months near the Pacific Motorway for easy travel and preferably as close to the city as I can. I work two jobs in the CBD and go to university at Griffith in Mount Gravatt. I can move out anytime from today (18/10/18) and wish to have found a place by mid-November. I can pay up to $170 per week (all inclusive of bills), anything less than that is amazing! I’m a quiet, clean and respectable person who enjoys my own space as well as having little social get together a with other housemates here and there occasionally on the weekends if it happens! I have no high expectations to the room, I would just like to be able to fit my queen size bed and have a little bit of extra room for possibly a desk or more storage. Parking off the street would be an added bonus but I’m happy to park on the street if I have to. If there’s no parking offers at your room, sorry but it’s not for me! I’m great with pets, I have many friends who are part of the LGBTQI+ community so there’s no issue there and I’m SUPER conscious of cleaning up after myself. What more could you want? 😂 If I sound like someone you’re looking for, please don’t hesitate to message me. Looking forward to hearing from everyone and hopefully finding a new place soon!
I am.an easy going person. I work 5 days a work so very busy. I have 2 kids that live with my ex. They visit every once in a while. I am also studying part BSc Environment and Sustainability. I was born in Zimbabwe but have been living here for 11yrs.
I work full-time during the week and have an active social life on the weekends. When I am home I'll be relaxing watching footy. I'm easy to get along with and always down for a chat after work. Looking to live with chill people.
I consider myself to be very clean, tidy and house proud! I work in real estate and have for years, so I understand how important it is to have someone who treats a house like it's their home. I have two small cats (strictly indoor only), so wherever I move to will need to be pet friendly as rehoming them is not an option. I come with my own furniture, so any bedroom does not need to be furnished. I also have common area furniture (couch, TV, fridge, etc), so I can bring these things along with me too. Let me know if you have any other questions!
*Looking for a team-up only* I’m Louise, 34yo. I work full time as an IT professional in the city. I love yoga and practice most days; a couple of friends and I like going to fitness meet ups at the weekends and I belong to a hiking club. I belong to a local community group that takes up a bit of time on my evenings and weekends so I’m fairly busy most of the time. I also have a little dog, his name is Dino and he’s a 1yo amstaffy. He’s a real little sweetheart, very well behaved and affectionate. I like my home to be my quiet sanctuary- I would love to meet similar housemates that enjoy social time in our shared areas but equally our own space.
I am currently working full time so i'll only really be home on weekends and in the afternoon/night time during the week. On weekends I love being social and going out but am also a sucker for kicking back and having a quiet night in. I'm respectful of other housemates, tidy up after myself and will happily do my share of the house cleaning.
HI I'm Sunni, a full time QUT student studying nutrition and communication as well as part time worker. I am super passionate about good food and cooking, so I am always keen to share a meal or a drink. I also enjoy yoga, art, hiking and the beach. I am really easy going, and no fuss to live with, I know how to keep clean and respectful.
My name is Caitlin, I'm currently looking to team up with either 1 or 2 people to share a small house with, around Mt Gravatt, Holland Park West or Greenslopes. My main goal for location is to have excellent access to the southbound on ramps for the M3 as I travel south every day for work. I work full time in Loganholme 8.30am-6pm, I love to do Yoga and Barre classes, I read voraciously and I've applied to do a second degree starting from next year on the side as an external student. I have a busy social calendar, I like going out a couple of times during the week for quiet dinners to see my boyfriend or friends, I usually head out to dinner on Friday and Saturday nights, I take occasional day trips on a Saturday or Sunday to the beach, and love going to the farmers markets on a Sunday morning. My boyfriend does stay over a couple nights a week at varying intervals depending on our work schedules. My partner is an admitted solicitor who works really hard and long hours, so we make the most of the free time we can find. He is extremely tidy and respectful. I do also like to have the occasional dinner party at home as I enjoy trying to cook new things with good company. And of course I love a good night in on the couch catching up on the Block, MAFS or something on Netflix etc. I'm a happy and bubbly person who's always happy to have a chat over a coffee or a glass of wine with housemates. Whilst I have my own friends, I am always happy to make more. I have a tiny Toy Poodle x Maltese dog who is 10 years old, fully toilet trained, and completely adorable. She's an indoor dog but loves to go for walks and a run on the beach. Because she's so small, I do have to consider how good the fencing is when looking at a property - she fits through the tiniest gaps. So a good fence is a must. I've already inspected a few properties in these areas and have seen good 3 bedroom places for about $450 - which is about $150/person between 3 and really ideal! I could stretch up to $200/week but would prefer not to if we don't have to. I have a lot of my own furniture already and can bring a lot of a house set up to the table, eg TV, big share couch, bookcases, cutlery, crockery etc. I don't have a fridge or a washing machine but am willing to consider purchasing additional big items that I would take with me if I was to go. Let me know if you'd be interested in teaming up to rent a property. My move date is extremely flexible as I'm not currently in a lease. Caitlin
Hi, I'm Karina :) I work full time at the rspca (monday to friday). I'm very tidy and respectful of everyone's space. I have a happy rescue dog Willow who can be unsure of new people at first but once she is comfortable with you she is extremely social! I'm wanting to live with people that would be happy to have her around as a part of the family :). She stays outside when no one is home but is used to being allowed in doors to relax when people are around / sleeps inside with me. I'm either at the beach surfing, adventuring with my dog / friends or relaxing at home. As i do work 8+ hours a day I am looking for a home that has grass/ a yard for willow to relax in. I also go away on weekends sometimes for trips in my van. I'm friendly and easy going, always up for a laugh and a wine/beer. I'm not the greatest cook but am definitely trying to learn :) I need full fencing for willow but she has lived with other dogs so doesn't need to be on her own. Thanks!
I’m outgoing can be social but also love downtime especially after a longs day work, I do smoke (outside only) not much of a drinker but if was would be else where, I do work Monday to Friday 8-4! I’m respectful to others privacy but do enjoy having a yarn. Absolutely love animals. I’m also a clean person so you wouldn’t have to worry about a mess anywhere 😊
I'm easy to get along with, but respectful of others space, work full time and clean and tidy, non smoker, likes the occasional wine. I do have a small dog (non shedding) I am looking for a room for approx 5-6months.
Hi! My name is MIchael! I'm a 23 year old full time and hard working person. I enjoy going out for a meal, having a chat, movies and gaming. During the week I'm usually pretty busy with work, and on my days off I enjoy relaxing. I am clean, tidy up after myself, pay bills on time, easy to get along with and am always up for having a chat, but also respect your privacy

I am a registered nurse working at the PA Hospital. I would prefer to rent a granny flat or a separate living space. I am a non-smoker, enjoy cooking, good movies and my hobbies are bush walking, dance and yoga. I am an active, energetic, dynamic person.
I'm generally quiet but enjoy music & movies and an occasional drink. I am out many evenings and weekends so home is my sanctuary. I keep communal areas tidy and clean up after myself. I'm pretty laid back, but I also like my privacy... I'm introvert unless I'm really not... Sounds like a contradiction but a lot of that's down to social dancing and how that's trained a part of me to enjoy more outgoing pursuits... I really don't have the energy for true extroverts though. (That includes people who surround themselves with drama!) I'm respectful, but adulting is hard... It's much more fun having few responsibilities... Having said that though, I pay all my bills /rent and shit before it's overdue and you do too: I've got no time to be dicked around by people who make excuses. If you've read this far and you think we could make a happy team I'll also let you know I'm free to move earlier or later... I'm not currently bound by a lease agreement... I could move tomorrow or not until next year... It all rides on the right place and like minded people. So drop me a line!
Personal Trainer. Looking for unfurnished bedroom with own bathroom and no pets. Prefer housemates with similar interests. Looking to move in the next month. Send me a message or text.
Easy going, can be social but like my own space too. I eat healthy and have a a healthy lifestyle. I work a 7:30am-5:00pm job Monday to Friday and also study fulltime at QUT so I won't be in the place much during the week. I also don’t smoke and can’t live with somone who does. I have a cat called Luna.
Hello!! I am in search of a friendly home or if someone is keen to team up and get 2 bedroom apartment (Real estate paperworks and brand new furnitures on me) I work full time in retail in CBD. I am quite friendly and easy to get along with everyone. I live healthy lifestyle and have plan to study Fitness Training next year. I am pet friendly, tidy, fairly quiet and tend to keep to myself at home, however I am an extrovert and if we get along we would be a good fit to hanging, chatting and sharing meals and beverages. Please hit me up if interested
Hi. I'm a full time student studying early childhood education and care. 🍼👶 I'm vegan, love meeting new people, gardening, yoga, art and cooking. I have one cute cat so a pet friendly place would be ideal. Thanks.
Hey there, Sharon and Pete here! Two 24 yr old friends who live in camp hill are looking for a house with 2 or more bedrooms for rent. We both study full time and work permanent part time, so we are out of the house quite a lot. Pete is a musician in his spare time and Sharon is graphic designer/artist. We are clean and respectful and are looking forward to living with someone with the same values. Pete has a friendly kitty cat named Big Boy, he is an inside and outside cat :) Please call or text anytime if you are interested:
I'm a professional athlete so I train 2-3 times a day 6 days a week away from home. When I'm not training I'm probably asleep or resting my body in one way or another. Not a partier, so fairly quite and not interested in a party house; that ship has sailed for me fortunately. Very focused so need somewhere reasonably relaxed and tindy. I'm clean and domesticated, i don't smoke but 420 friendly not much bothers me each to their own, there isnt much I havnt seen. Very friendly and easy to talk to :) I do have a 1.5 year old English staffy who loves absolutely everyone and everything. He's an outside dog but does sleep on his bed in my room of a night time; doesn't need a big yard as he runs with me of a morning and sleeps the remainder of the day but some type of outdoor area would be handy as I'd rather him not be inside...he is a dog after all. Open to all suggestions hopefully we are the flat mates for you :)
Hi I am a 23 year old girl from New Zealand working full time looking to move out of my aunts place. I love to cook and am extreammly tidy. Enjoy quite drinks with friends but also love a night out
Employed full-time in the higher education sector. I enjoy exercise, music / cultural events and hobbies such as photography and graphic design. You could probably lump me into the sort of character who works in education, health, IT / Engineering and design. I am always up for a good chat, especially about interesting topics! In terms of place and housemates - I’m looking for a prefer a peaceful, relaxing place with a mature, independent housemate who enjoys chatting and the occasional dinner or TV show. I am neat and tidy, generally clean every weekend but leading a busy life I am not obsessed with cleaning. I am a non smoker and rarely drink.
Hi, I’m 22 and recently graduated from a primary education degree. Planning to do relief teaching, interested to see what kind of work there is in Brisbane therefore need somewhere with short term stay and furnished just in case. I also have a car, would prefer off-street but doesn’t matter too much. Would like to live with others who are up for a drink or go out on weekends for adventures. I am tidy, quiet, enjoy baking and exercise. :)
I come with two beautiful pets... a sweet old cat for cuddles... and a lovely young dog for keeping active. Must bw animal lover, not tolerater looking for a nice kind relaxed home n people. Hope to hear from u soon.
I'm a young professional (Mid-20's) working in the sports industry. It'd be great to find housemates to enjoy downtime with and try new activities. I'd get along best with young, active and health conscious housemates around the same age. In my downtime I enjoy: - Cooking and trying new foods - Going to the gym, Bodyboarding, Ukulele and singing badly - Board Games, Reading, Winding down in front of a view or nature - Watching/playing sports Also: - Pet friendly - During my work season I'm fairly busy and frequently away on weekends - I highly value honesty and reliability and would expect the same from potential roommates
We’re great to socialise with, can both hold a conversation and are both empathetic humans. We’re also quite creative, with music and visual arts, literature, etc. We are also quite clean and tidy, and if preferred, can keep to ourswlves.
Heyy there Its Rich, mates call me (Richie Rich)....I'm a fun guy and serious when it comes to my studies, I like to give other people their space and respect one another space when needs to be give as I would want the same. I play soccer and NFL so my weekend and weekdays I'm always out training or studying. I love reading as well and gaming. I'm a singer and songwriter as well. I work part time at a factory at coca cola so I always get free drinks and any choice of drinks I want so that's a plus in my world. I'm studying social studies atm but I'm a overall humble guy, I'm easy going and easy to get along with but most of all I just require respect as you would expect from me, hope you enjoyed reading 😎😎.....ps (what if I ran for prime minister? 🤔😂😂)
Dynamic, chilled, gregarious guy who enjoys a bit of quiet time and social time seeks compatible housemates, granny flat, possibly studio. I am a mobile Massage Therapist (Karma Harmony) with clientele throughout Brisbane. I also do Bush Care work Wed-Sat for an NFP Landcare Group in Carindale. Loves and passions: cooking, keeping a tidy kitchen and house, yoga, chat about anything, huge range of music and movies, popcorn, having friends for dinner, permaculture, gardening, composting, recycling, red wine, chocolate, being relaxed and productive. A small garden or area to grow veggies and compost would be lovely. Open to short or long term with right combination. Prefer SE Bris but open to other location for right situation. Not in a rush, looking for right fit and have great references. A pool would be a lovely bonus. Namaste Mike ;-)
I am very laid back, tidy but not neurotic about being clean. I am looking to live with friendly open minded people, preferably in a social household. I love art, teas, gin (sometimes) and animals. Waterfalls, natural swimming holes and rainforresty environments bring me a lot of joy also. I eat mostly plant based at home so if you're vegan you won't have to worry about me bringing non vegan foods into the house. I would prefer to move somewhere in south Brisbane. Open to male and female housemates.
We are both easy going, quiet, tidy and keep to ourselves
Hi everyone, I'm Scott and I am 33 years old and have moved back to Brisbane a couple of months ago for a job, having lived here previously about 6 years ago. I work full time at a university in a role that sees me keeping long-hours during the week and occasionally on weekends. I am friendly and down to earth and have done the shared-living thing for a number of years. I am always keen for a chat, shared meal or a drink together but also respect people's privacy and that sometimes people just want their own space. Outside of work, I head to F45 most mornings, play indoor soccer one night a week and once the season comes around will be playing outdoor soccer as well. If not playing sport, I love watching it so will be aiming to take in live sport whenever possible. Having lived in Brisbane before I have a great network of friends who I catch up with. I moved from Newcastle so I will be missing the beach so now the warmer weather is arriving I will be doing day trips north and south and discovering parts of the coast. Looking for a place that is more than a room, where the housemates all get along and are fairly similar in age, sociable and it feels like home. Not wanting a party house, but one where the visitors are welcome would be nice. Preferably sharing with only one or two others. I do have all my own bedroom furniture and some other personal belongings in storage at the moment, so would prefer to use them and stop paying the storage fees, so my preference is for a unfurnished room. I am ultra-reliable with rent and bills and also like to keep where I live nice and clean, by no means am I OCD about it, but certainly a level where you are comfortable having unexpected guests dropping by. I am looking for a place on the south side of Brisbane but not settled on a particular suburb, it is about the people and the place more than a particular location. I have until late December to find somewhere so not in a rush, but also able to move at short-notice for the right place. If I sound like I could be a match for you, please don't hesitate to get in touch. Thanks, Scott
hello my name is maddy. i am a single mother who full time has my beautiful daughter faith who is 6. i study doing my dilpoma full time at home and my daughter goes to carina state school. i really want to keeo her at the same school but will take offers in south east way. we are respectful but are fi sing it a bit hard to find a place with being a single mum. i can happily afford 350 a week and most being comfy 400 a week. let me no if anything :)
Hi everyone! My name is Julia and I am from Belarus. I am an easy-going and friendly girl. I don't like mess and noise (party house is not for me). I would like to find a room for rent with friendly and nice housemates. I work full-time as an accountant and I also work as a hairdresser at home (few times a week). So I am looking for housemates who don't mind to see my customers sometimes at our place. I can consider any suburb not far away from the city.
Hey I'm Ambi. Work as a doctor in Brisbane so often work long and odd hours. I am extremely neat and tidy. When I'm not working I enjoy working out, hiking or road tripping. I'm super easy going and always up for a few cheeky wines and a chilled night in.
I am a 47 year old female, non-smoker (marketing professional) with three very cute, clean and well-behaved little pooches. I am very clean, respectful, considerate and have all of my own furniture and am wanting to downsize and stop running an entire house myself. I do need some storage and would love off-street parking. I am looking for a clean granny flat/small house in which my puppies can have a little, fenced off yard/area as we go for walks every single day so they don't need much yard. Please contact me if you have something suitable as I'm really keen to move soon. Thanks, Kareen/Reeny.
