I’m a full time student at Monash. I love having me time but wouldn’t mind listening to you bitching about your day either. I enjoy watching American classic movies and listening to music that maybe only your parents would know. After a few times of house hunting and having seen some sht, my standards now are quite low. I’m looking for respectful and quiet housemates that are not too into asian and don’t leave opened avocado with no cover on the countertop for 3 days. If i’m what you are looking for, shoot me a message😊 Cheers !
I work full-time and sometimes on the weekends as well, I'm easy-going and like doing my own thing most of the time. I love listening to music, the arts and nature. I'm looking for an inexpensive place to stay before looking for my own place again down the track. It’ll be preferable for it to be with only 1 or 2 other easy going yet respectful people. I am a smoker but not a chain-smoker and I'm used to smoking outside (as I used to in my own home). I would prefer my own bathroom in a private lockable room, my own bathroom is not as important as a lock on my bedroom door and I’m also happy to pay for it to be installed. I'm a neat person who doesn't like mess and I'm happy to help around the home where I can. A location close to a train station would be perfect for me as I commute daily to the city.
I'm 24 years old, working full time in research at Monash. I'm planning to start my PhD in philosophy/cognitive science next year, so I'm looking for a quiet and relaxed new home to settle in to. I've been living in a share houses for the past few years, so I know how to keep tidy and be respectful of others' space. I enjoy socialising over food or the occasional drink. My weeknights are generally pretty low-key (research keeps me busy) but i like catching up with friends and family over the weekend. I have no pets but love to live with animals. Please get in touch if you have any questions :)
I’m Melanie, 28 years old, originally from Germany but have been in Melbourne for over a year now, doing my PhD at Monash. I’ll bring several years of experience in living in shared houses with all kinds of different people and love traveling, seeing new things and getting to know new people. I’m looking for an easy-going, sociable atmosphere and love getting together to hang out and cook, enjoy a glass of wine, watch a movie, go for a walk or something like that. Still, I’m not at all looking for a 24/7 babysitter and it should always be possible to just close your door and have privacy. I don’t mind if an apartment shows that someone is living there, so it doesn’t always have to be spotlessly clean and I can tolerate a certain degree of chaos, but in general I appreciate cleanliness, especially around the kitchen and bathroom ;) But my general experience is that a common ground for living together can always be found, so I’m a fan of open and direct communication, honesty and respect :)
I would say I am a friendly person that gets along well with others. I am not a big party person I would much rather share good meal with friends and family either in or go out. I am respectful of others peoples thing and space.
I’m currently completing my last semester of my undergraduate Science degree at Monash University and working part time in market research. I’m friendly, very approachable, keen to socialise and meet some new people. Also independent with a busy schedule usually and will be doing honours next year. :)
Hello, we are a couple, both students of Monash. We are looking for a clean and quiet place to stay. We are either working or studying most of the time. We don't party or smoke. But cleanliness is more important to us. We are looking for something with an attached Bathroom.
I'm looking for a room to share starting this December. My wife and I will be moving to Melbourne and we are looking for a temporary place to live in before we settle. We are thinking about a year to stay in your place if available :D
Here's a little bit about Serah Recently graduated from Uni, currently working in retail and planning to extend studies :) On the weekends I'm either working to get that mula, or out spending that mula lol I am happy just being a couch potato on some days. I love to visiting museums, art exhibitions or just binge watching tv shows. I dont mind pets as I love animals & I also love to enjoy some wine on the weekend with a book or just the wine haha.

Hi Everyone, My name is James, 30 years old and originally from the UK. I have been working in Australia for the past 5 years and now have Australian Residency. I am moving down to Melbourne to start a job on the 4th November at Monash University. Ideally i am looking for somewhere within walking distance of the Monash University, Caulfield campus. My job requires significant travel, i am usually away 3-4 months per year. I am fairly sporty and take part in triathlons, tennis, squash, badminton, kitesurfing and pretty much anything else, If you are sporty that’s a real bonus! I dont know anyone in Melbourne at the moment so ideally i am looking for a group of people who are social and like to have a bit of fun on the weekends. I dont have any furniture i am bringing to Melbourne so if the apartment is furnished already that would be great. I also have 2 bikes, 1 triathlon bike and one road bike. I usually do a 40 minute bike session in the morning on my wind training so having somewhere to do that in the morning is pretty important. If there is anything else you want to know please get in contact and i look forward to hearing from you James
Hi, I am looking for a place to stay starting from first week of march. I am a full time student and working part time so I am mostly out. Hi all :) I’m an busy professional who is looking for a home... not a house. Lived on my own for 4 years however miss the company of housemates. I’ve been in house shares on and off since I was 17. Im very independent so enjoy equal amount of my own space to time shared with others. Love a clean home but not fanatical! Vibe with positive people who communicate openly and have some life experience... I’m looking to rent the room unfurnished and also require some additional garage storage (ideally).

Hi I am studying Master's program at Monash University. I do not smoke nor I have any pets. I would like to live in a quiet, clean and somewhere fun to live(bills included) with easy going housemates and no pets preferably. I keep everything tidy and clean and expect the same from my housemates. I am also open for teaming up with you and look or move into a new house. I am also flexible with the duration of the stay and move in dates and can consider short term as well.
Hey guys! I'm a 25yr old woman studying Conservation and Land Management and working odd gardening/landscaping jobs with some freelance illustration on the side. I'm quiet, laid back, clean and reliable with rent and bills. I'm looking for friendly, relaxed housemates who can help keep the main areas of the house tidy (doesn't have to be spotless though) and like to keep a home with a nice atmosphere. I'm very respectful of other people's peace and quiet but I'm also down for a chat! As far as houses go the ideal place would have a spot for me to set up my computer and desk outside of my bedroom but if not I can make do with a room large enough for a queen size bed and a largeish desk. I have a partner (Manny, 25, male) who would visit and stay the night on the odd occasion. He's friendly, clean, respectful and a great cook! I love pets of all shapes and sizes and I am happy to babysit them if you're out! My budget is pretty firmly set at $160 maximum to avoid financial stress when studying. Preferred move date is open for discussion. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
A graduate migrating with a work visa in search of job. Never minding gender, race I would like to be in a place where a good person will be with me to share. If you too think the same, let's share the room.
Hi there, I'm 26 yrs working as a full time nurse (shift worker). Looking for a place closer to my work at Monash Medical Centre in Clayton. I am an easy-going person, love keeping my place tidy (a bit of clean freak) and definitely not a party animal but can enjoy a drink or two every now and then. I'm quite a social person and like to be around people so looking for a more social flat with family vibes, if your place is the kind where everyone keeps to themselves I probably won't be a good fit. Thanks Also im happy to team up as well if anyone wants to get a place together! Just flick me a message :)
Hey folks! My name is Sumit and I am a Master's student of Design at Monash Caulfield. I had been living in Oakleigh for 9 months and then in Caulfied for 4 months. I am looking for a private room in a quite setting. Being a post grad student, I spend most of my time at uni while doing my assignments. Even on weekends, I am at library for most of the day. I keep my room very tidy and like staying with people who prefer keeping home organised. I do not smoke at all but do take wine occasionally while socialising. Though I am mostly busy with studies but I do like to talk. My friends say that I am a good listener. My growth has given me enough wisdom to appreciate the differences in opinions. I may have a different opinion than people but that shall never affect my respect for them till the till their conduct is ethical. You can always trust me for rent as I never miss the deadline. I am looking for a flat or house with 1-3 bedrooms. I have been through enough mess while living without contract because of real-estate agents or flatmate's carelessness and do not want to go ahead without it. I am looking for a furnished apartment/room with shared facilities of washer, dryer, gas as a standard equipment + a carpark. A BIR is a must for my bedroom. . let me know if you think that you can team up with me or offer me a place to stay for next 1 year or more. . I am intending to move in Week 4 of August 2018. Thanks and kind regards.... :)
*Looking for a furnished room between january and march 2019, max $250pw around Oakleigh* Hi, my name is Seraphine, I’m 24 years old and I’m from the southern part of Germany. I’m currently working on my master’s thesis in meteorology and I’m happy that I got the opportunity of an extended research stay at Monash University. I’m searching for a furnished room between Clayton Campus and Melbourne center, preferred in a share house. It would be very great to find a share house, where people not just live together but spend time together (cooking in the evening, chill together at a park, doing some trips around Melbourne at the weekend, …). I will arrive in January and plan to stay in Melbourne for around 10 weeks. Before flying back to Germany, I’d like to travel a bit along the southeast coast and maybe go to Tasmania. In my free time, I’d like to do some sports. In Germany I do horseback riding, bouldering and go to the gym. Furthermore, I love it to spend time outside in the nature and meet up with friends. In Germany, I live with other students together in a share house since 2013, so I’m well-experienced how to behave when living in a share house (yes, I watch out for cleanliness). I would be SO happy to find nice people that can offer me a room! 😊
I am a 23 year old female residing in Mulgrave currently. I am eager to move locations to live more independently and to be more central to work. I am an organized person who is very easy to get along with. I take pride in cleanliness and being responsible for keeping my living space clean and tidy. Very considerate and respectful of others and their space and noise. I am very self reliant and have had a year of experience living independently - financially as well. As well as 2 years living in a shared accommodation. I work with the Salvation Army in the retail sector and love what I do. I usually work 4-5 days a week, sometimes more. And usually weekends. I love to read, draw, go for walks. Super friendly but also quiet and keep to myself :)
