Hello, we are a young couple looking for a flat were we have an easy commute to work and can also chill with our cat. We are both currently employed in the pet industry, me as a vet nurse and Sam as an assistant store manager in a pet shop. We own one cat, a very laid back, 10 year old, British Short Hair called Pushkin. She is fully vaccinated, up to date on flea and worming, and is strictly an indoor only cat. The reason we are moving out of our current flat is we don't have a kitchen, and we want to improve our lifestyles by cooking more. We are both into music but our instruments are practiced quietly so not to disturb anyone. We are quiet people and often work long hours, but we are also happy to have a chat if we run into you. We are preferably looking for a small flat (with a kitchen!), but we are also happy to share a house if the people are right. If you have anymore questions please let us know!
Hey my name is Chloe I am looking at renting with a couple of house mates. I would be looking to move in around end of March/ early April. I would be looking for a small bedroom in a shared house. I have a full time traineeship in the public service and I work Monday to Friday. I am a neat, friendly person who loves a social outing but also a quite night at home for some alone time. My hobbies include sports, reading and adventures. I would be looking to move in with my dog Leo. He is a 9 month old, fully toliet trained and is supper friendly with people, he loves a good play and pat. Would love to hear from you Chloe
i'm very ordered and clean when it comes to the house i'm very polite and kind to others and am open to ideas that benefit the place where i live, I'm a big Pc gamer who is quiet and reserved but always up for a chat regardless, hoping to find someone who is either able to relate or accept those qualities.
I am searching for a room to let. I am a 37 year old male from England. A pet less adaptable nonsmoker who enjoys clean, tidy and peaceful living. My hobbies include cooking and cleaning. Just landed a new job in the area. #Capricorn##INTJ##youngest sibling# Cheers Ben
Hi I’m Anthony! I’m from the Canberra region and work in the tech industry. I like to travel and keep active. Looking for a place that’s nice and I can bring my friendly dog
Hi, I'm Tim! I currently live in Casey, ACT and looking for somewhere more central to stay in Canberra. I will be a good person to live with as I am a very tidy and mostly quiet person but very easy to get along with and can respect other people's privacy. I am a bit of a car enthusiast and spend most nights watching movies, reading, or going out for a drive. I would prefer to stay with people who are also tidy and easy to get along with!
Hey! My name is Kim and I've been living in rental properties for 10 years. Until recently, I was the sole leaseholder of a three bedroom property in Ainslie so I'm pretty used to looking after a home as if it were my own while also sharing it with others. I'm looking for a room in an existing property, quite studio or granny flat. I'm a full time professional (lawyer), love travelling (just returned home (11 Feb) from 2.5 months backpacking the Americans and Antarctica), and am passionate about wildlife and the outdoors. Looking forward to talking more with you about a new home :)
I am originally from Sydney and I am taking on a new role in Canberra for the next 3 months (starting Feb 6th). So ideally be able to move in by Feb 5th. I am friendly, easy-going, and down to earth. On my free time, I enjoy keeping myself physically active, reading, and learn photography.
Hi there, My name is Andrew and I am from Victoria. I have recently relocated from Melbourne to Canberra for work (since early January). I am currently renting in Queanbeyan but have a full-time job as in Fyshwick at engineering company which I have been working so far just over a month. I am clean, social and have also been sharing accommodation for quite a few years, having spent the past six years as a student at university. As far as hobbies go, I also enjoy sport, cooking, reading and making new friends. Please let me know if or when can I inspect your property? My Budget is under $300 and I am looking to move in before the end of February. Regards, Andrew.
I like to help people learn literacy and numeracy skills, so I am a tutor employed at a Canberra organisation called Literacy for Life, working one on one with clients. I have completed a wide range of study, both related to education of young children and people with learning differences, and my own special passion, medieval studies. This year I am going to study early medieval and Anglo Saxon languages and culture with an aim of doing further research. I do pilates, love swimming and walking in nature, and I am a member of Earthly delights Historical Dance Academy- I love sewing the costumes to go with the various periods. I love animals, and currently live with 2 felines, a rabbit, chooks and fish. I have cared for cats, rabbits, belgian shepherds, maltese shih tzus, and grown up with min. poodles and border collies. For fun I go to dances, and festivals- Jane Austen Festival, all kinds of multicultural and historical festivals. I love exploring the Canberra region. I am more of a one on one person when it comes to sharing a house, and feel that communication is very important. I am happy to spend time with housemates and happy to do my own thing. I like to live in a home rather than a house. I can share cooking or do my own, I try to be flexible with others' needs.
We’re clean, and friendly people. We are respectful of other people as well as their property, as long as we get the same in return. My partner is a full time 3rd year apprentice in bricklaying & I am starting a business traineeship. We both enjoy our time together & kind of really like to keep to ourselves but don’t mind having a chat or a beer every now and then!
I am a 31yo professional who enjoys cooking and reading. Personally I am an introspective quiet individual who would rather a meal with friends than a night at the club's. I love a ride around the lake some laps in a pool and some cheeky games on the side.
I'm looking to rent a place either by myself or with a peaceful, self aware, tidy, friendly person. I love a good conversation, I also like my own time and respect privacy. I am very domesticated, I cook, clean, wash, pay my bill's. I work full time and attend classes at CIT twice a week. I have a full schedule. I have a mountain bike for rides around the lake or block. I like to keep relatively fit. I've been known to send myself to see a movie. So a movie buddy would be a bonus 😊 I have family in Canberra, so a ute or helping hand if we need is never far. I'm looking for a santuary I can be at ease.
My name is Andrew. I'm 35, quiet and easy going. Originally from the NSW Sapphire coast, I now work full time as an irrigation technician out of Fyshwick ACT. I enjoy outdoor activities and generally being around people. I am pet friendly but dont have any pets.
I have share housed in many places before, I like cooking don’t mind bogging into a group cook up. I clean up after myself and I am focused on my studies so and my own business so I’m quiet.
