Hello there, My name is Shafia and I am looking for a room to rent with easy-going and tidy individuals. A little about me: * My current tenancy expires end of July but I'm happy to move around a month or so earlier (negotiable if I find a good fit) * I'm 32, a registered nurse and work in the mental health space. * My main love in life is travelling * Other hobbies and interests- dance, natural health/medicine, comic books and associated movies, GOT, the outdoors, good food and good company. * Personality- I get along easily with most people. I guess you'd call me a mix of intro/extrovert. Have a bit of a wicked sense of humour once you get to know me. I work hard and hence travel hard. * Behaviours- I'm super clean and tidy. Im a bit of a health nut. Practically a non-drinker but enjoy the odd red wine/s. I'm pretty quiet at home and tend to spend most of my time at work, at the gym or with friends on the weekends, but enjoy a good chat and food with housemates too. I will be starting a new job in Sept which will be contract nursing, so I may be away for some periods of time on short contracts. Totally happy to live with any animals in the home and welcome it since I don't have my own due to how much time I spend away. Hope to find some cool people to live with :)
Hey there! Currently living on the Sunny Coast and got transferred in my job to Westfield Chermside. I’m used to living independently in a clean and clutterless apartment and would love to share a home with someone who wants to live in a similar way. After considering having a place to myself again, I’ve concluded that I’m not at home enough so sharing would be the better choice. My hobbies are mainly gym, socialising and working so I’ll only be home to sleep, cook and wash clothes. (However I’m super open to having a good roomie chat to unwind about our days too if you like!) I will also be travelling back to the coast on my days off to see my family/friends so you you’d mostly have the house to yourself. 7th of June is the date I absolutely need to move in on due to work commitments. Feel free to hit me up with questions!
Hi I’m Sara. I’m looking for a room for my dog and I. Missy is a 4 year old shih Tzu. She’s toilet trained and can be indoors or outdoors with adequate fencing. I’m pretty nerdy, open minded and easy going. I like a clean home and like keeping any common areas tidy too. I split my free time between relaxing at home and taking my dog out on adventures. I work full time Monday-Friday in finance. I have a car but I’m happy to park it on the street. I enjoy chilling with a few glasses of wine after a long week with a good mix of socialisation and private time. I don’t use drugs but I have no judgement towards those that do. I’m hoping to spend the next 6 months or so saving and then I plan to road trip down the coast visiting friends with my dog. If you need a short-medium term housemate let me know :)
I'm gay, clean, tidy, respectful, quiet and love having binge fests on Netflix. I dont smoke or do drugs, I also don't have any pets and I rarely drink but when I do it's just a couple when I go out with friends. I also work on a permanent casual basis as a cleaner and looking to study whilst working in the near future. Looking for a smoke and pet free place to live at the end of my lease finishing July 29 (Can move in with-in the last week). I have a preference for my own bathroom and off street parking, happy to negotiate higher rent to obtain those.
Have just returned to Brisbane after working for 6 months in hospitals throughout rural QLD. I am currently at university, studying social work part-time. I have put my availability down as June 1st for this ad but really I'm completely flexible with dates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere that is 6 months or longer. I am a pretty laid back and chilled out person and I love cooking. Generally, I am a pretty chatty person (except when in deep study mode). I am a HUGE Marvel (both comics and movies) fan and am not much of a party person. I'm the sort of person that would rather have just a few close friends over than to be throwing parties.
Need 1x off-street parking spot for my car. Not looking a party house, I like my own space, but like to have a chat when others available. Looking for a clean, quiet house. A room with an A/C. Maximum of 3 people or less including me would be ideal. I work full time in the Brisbane airport, so, a house within 30 min from the airport. Happy to pay upto $300 for a good accommodation. Would consider all options, a granny flat, or even renting two small rooms, so I can use the second room for study, TV and to store some of my boxes if its ok with you.
Hey Flatmaters. Im Jake, 28 years old. I work full time. And i am looking for a place to flat in. I am quite clean. Quiet during the week and up for a hangout on the weekend. My interests are camping, snowboarding and rock climbing. I do travel on ocassion interstate for work. But mostly i work around the south east queensland area. Looking for nice, courteous people to flat with. If this interests you. PM me.
I'm clean, tidy, reliable with money and very quiet. I am looking for a room to rent as I need to be closer to my hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital in chermside. I am moving from Grafton nsw where I have been renting a single room unit by myself paying rent and bills.
I am brazilian living in Australia since december 2016. I work most of the time out of Brisbane and I am studying as well. I like sports outdoors and hangout with my friends. I am not a party person, but I like to have some friends sometimes to have a wine. I am respectful and I know how to share common areas and make it tidy to live comfortable with others. I wanna find a place that I can call home.
I am very friendly and always clean up my mess and would like to live with someone who does the same. I love a good drink and socialising on the weekends and love getting out of the house, but also respect and value alone time, I'm into photography, music and keeping fit and study full time and work part time 30 hours minimum a week so quite busy most of the time. message me if you're interested :)
Hello there. I, Paige am a responsible and reliable 22 year old female. I’m seeking a room to rent as soon as possible with my affordability being at a max of $140 per week - I do get paid fortnightly. I am Currently unemployed but on the hunt for work. I will not be at the house 24/7 as I am a pretty busy girl and will be out and about most days of the week. I am a well-mannered and mature young lady, with a very clean, energetic and organised personality, never to leave a mess laying around, mine or not. Am a very fun and bubbly person but also am very Respectful of other people’s privacy, rules and wishes. Have rented two properties of my own in the last 4 years but having no luck at the moment. I’ve never defaulted with paying rent as that was and always my first priority. I am not a let down, and I’ll be a good house mate. 😊✌🏽
I am both a full time worker ( both chef & content marketer) and full time student - you will hardly see me! I spend most of my time at the library or at a rented office in the city. When I am around, i like to watch movies, cook dinner and share a glass of wine with my flatmates if they want to hang out. I'm into hiking and camping and occasionally make a weekend trip away. I'm kind of a quiet person (probably due to the study) and like a quite environment (not a party house) I respect your space and belongings and appreciate the same in return. I'm tidy, non smoker and no pets.
*Looking for late June/early July max $200pw* Looking for a clean and tidy, friendly house or apartment to share. I enjoy my alone time to wind down but I also love getting to know people and enjoy a good meal and a drink, movies and games with housemates. I have heaps of sharehouse experience (4+ years, basically a professional sharer), I’m reliable (especially with $), clean, tidy and respectful. Im a ~young professional~ working as an Exercise Physiologist and sole trader of my business. I also work weekends in hospitality, so pretty much working 7 days/week all over Brisbane. When I have time off I love getting to the beach, eating overpriced breakfast at cafes, watching movies and tv, playing board games, rock climbing, working out and the occasional night out with mates. Shoot me a message if you think I’d be a good fit or to find out more!
Joseph and i are very easy to get along with. Joseph has been living in brisbane for 3 years working a fulltime job and i recently moved here. I am a classical dancer and Joseph plays guitar.
Hi, I'm looking for 1-2 girls to team up and find a house with. Looking Northside only. I currently work 4 days a week in a dr clinic. I'm really easy going generally keep to myself but happy to watch a movie have dinners with people :) I'm very tidy and self sufficient, only looking for 6 months as I'm moving up to the sunny coast at the end of the year. I have a 13 month old female border collie, she is super well behaved and defiantly grown out of the puppy stage but you MUST love dogs. She's very small for her breed (only 14kilos) and quite placid.
Friendly, clean and a fantastic cook. I'm a bit of a nerd, I love D&D and board games; I would love to share a space with people with similar interests. I also have a cat, Lulu (She is a Russian Blue so she is low allergy), and both of us are usually fairly quiet and self-entertaining. I love to cook, and am always happy to share food with housemates (I hate cooking for only me). I like to chat, sometimes to myself or Lulu if no-one else is around.
Hi All, I am looking for team-ups within the Brisbane region (work in Bowen Hills). I am a full time Completions Manager in an Engineering company, and am reliable with rent/bills. I am clean, respectful and easy going, looking for like-minded roommates. I'm very adventurous on weekends and love being by the water! I'm typically out and about hiking, paddle boarding or going on road trips 😊 Preferably* looking for a larger modern house, where we can have our own space but also enjoy a dinner/drink and be social! I have new lounge room and bedroom furniture and can furnish additionally as required, or store current furniture. Flexible with dates, suburbs and ect. so flick me a message to discuss more 😊 Chantal
Hi 😊 I'm very active and get bored easily so when I'm not working I'll be at the beach or bush, walking, running, training, completing my pt course and love to cook (pescatarian) healthy food. I have an adorable loving 5yr old staffy that doesn't bark, bite, chew or dig. Would be great to find someone that shares the passion to enjoy life, including good food and a night out every now and then, wine. Can talk to anyone and everyone but totally understand the need for space. I have some gym equipment and house furniture so would need some storage space.
I’m a student who finishes my degree this year. I’m also part time at rebel sport. I’m easy to get along with and enjoy things from getting out and about playing all sports, hitting the beach and the mountains to sitting at home watching Netflix, reading and playing games.
Hey guys, I'm Sam! Currently in my third year at QUT in an education degree and my lease is ending at the beginning of June, so I'm looking for someone to team up with and find a sweet place with! I have a 7 year old cat that comes with me - no arguments there- so if you don't like living with a cat, we're probably not best suited to live with each other. He spends his days lazing around or cuddling with me, so he won't get in your way at all. I'm clean, really enjoy a good Netflix sesh and am a busy person who is either at uni, footy or work so I won't be home too often to be that noisy or annoying flatmate. My current roommates moving overseas for study but we do enjoy a beach trip or two on the weekends or getting drunk in front of the tv, so if I sound like your type of roommate, hit me up. Currently living in Ashgrove but I'm not too fussy with locations, as long as it's close enough to QUT Kelvin Grove via public transport, so anywhere between Chermside - Woolloongaba and everywhere in between suits me!
