Urgent need of a place to move into! Very flexible with area and housemate. I'm always up for some adventures or just spending a night socialising with a beer or two. I'm pretty relaxed living with, previously lived in a sharehouse and enjoy being able to hang out. I'm a Swedish backpacker who's currently working at Kangaroo point, so if you have a spare room somewhat close to the city send me a message and I might have a look at it.
19 year old tradie, hey all I'm looking for a place that will welcome me and my beautiful fur baby (5 year old English/American staffy). Max rent allowance $250 per week. I'm a quiet, clean and peacefull. Work full time throughout the week so barely home. Please consider me :) would be willing to pay an extra $20 per week for the dog
Hey! My partner Aaron and I are looking to move into a place together, preferably a main room with an ensuite. Preferably all bills included and great Internet, if bond is flexible that would be even better!! Just looking to move out together asap :) I'm currently successfully self employed and Aaron is studying to be a PT. Yes we are both on a centrelink payment at the moment but have great payment and rental history. We do a couple of newspaper deliveries each week just fyi, may be a delivery or two but we could organise for this to possibly be changed. If you are interested let us know, we are clean and tidy and respectful of our surroundings. We are a quiet couple, we don't party and aren't noisy, hoping to find a place that welcomes friends over for dinner once in a while. Thanks!
Hey there, I'm Requel I'm 26 and work full time. I'm easy going, pretty relaxed. I enjoy my own space and also respect others space and belongings. Very reliable with rent and bills, like to have a few quite drinks every now and then but nothing to big.
Hi! I'm a 44 year old Psychologist looking to move close to Kedron State High by the end of June 2017, when my current lease ends. I am looking to share a place so I can continue to work part time while I recover from breast cancer (I have the all clear). I live a healthy and relaxed lifestyle, and am really easy going. I'm happy to cook and clean and help out around the house as much as needed. My 11 year old son is going to Kedron State High next year and I want to move into the catchment area long-term. I have my son with me every second week. He is super quiet and well mannered. We love going out on weekends and during the week he isn't home much, as he has football training twice a week which means he gets home around 8pm and goes to bed. We also regularly spend weekends away visiting family in Toowoomba. I have a well trained 1 year old mini-maltese x silky who can sleep outdoors at night. He isn't a "yapper" and I'm training him to be a therapy dog. If a pet is a dealbreaker, I can send my dog to stay with my mum in Toowoomba. Ideally I'm looking for two bedrooms, but we would move into a large bedroom with space for two beds or a room with a study adjoining or nearby. We have lived in share accommodation before and enjoy meeting new people. Any questions, just ask!
I am looking for a place even under 230.00 if possible. I am on a budget as a single independent woman. I am responsible and clean , friendly , and always pay rent on time. I am respectful and honest . Ideally It would be suitable to live with some who works away , or in a granny flat/studio . I am more so looking to be on my own. I have one cat , who is well trained, and very loving also. I have my own things for a living space (besides a few ) but , I do modeling on the side, and enjoy fashion and blogging, I have a strong business desire and work for a great company.
Hi guys! I'm Dan, an Irish chef on a 457 Sponsorship Visa who is moving to Brisbane mid June to open a Bavarian bier cafe with my company. I work 60-70 hours per week so won't be around much. I am a very respectful and considerate flatmate with lots of experience sharing accommodation with others as I have lived here for 5 years now frequently on the move as a chef. On my days off I enjoy hiking, fitness, catching up with friends and exploring. I hope to hear from you guys. Thanks, Dan
I'm a clean, quiet and respectful housemate. I study Social Work at QUT and also work in a cafe. On weekends I like to hang out with friends, take road trips to the beach/mountains, and explore new food/coffee places.
I work full-time and also study at university (6 months left until I graduate). I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Feel free to chill in your room or join me in watching a TV show, I don't mind! If any of us want to have friends over for a drink etc. every now and then, the only rule is you must save your housemate(s) a drink! I'm a pretty clean/tidy individual, and I won't chuck a tantrum if you forget to do the dishes one night. I don't smoke or have a pet either. If we can keep everything reasonably clean and pay the rent on time, we will get along fine!
I am an easy going person, I like to have a chat! I don't mind sharing meals if we are both home. I enjoy my down time but always up for a chat. I'm a tidy person, but new to sharing. I don't mind a social drink. I love new adventures and catching up with friends and family. Won't say no to a Sunday marathon on the couch watching a good tv show if there is bad weather!! I also have a dog!! If I could bring her that would be awesome!!:)
Note- I am not looking to move until Saturday the 1st of July. I am an environmental professional moving to Brisbane from Adelaide to work with a large mining company. I will be predominantly 9-5pm working in the city centre although, will also be required to work away from time to time. My initial contract is for two years, so if the flat share thing works out, I'm happy to continue for that time. I do not know many people in Brisbane so I figured accommodation sharing might be a good way to meet some people. I enjoy a chat and a few beers/wines, but I also enjoy my own space and downtime. I am clean and tidy, and extremely respectful of other peoples personal space. Also Keen to join a gym nearby, if you know of any? Ideally I will share with only one other person and have a private bathroom. However if the house is large and we aren't all cramped in, and there is at least two bathrooms, I will consider living with more than one person. I will also have some of my own furniture, so can either add this to the household or store it. All good either way.
Hello, We are two good friends who have been living together since the start of the year. Our lease ends in July and we are hoping to find a bigger place with 2-3 housemates around the same age, who share similar interests. Both of us are quiet and easy going. Our interests include art, books, alternative film and music.
Hey all! My name is Hollie and I'm looking for some roommates or a house to live in ASAP! I'm 19, currently working for the GC titans but looking to move to Brissy, I'm heaps of fun and love a drink or two! I'm a really clean person and super laid back! Looking for some people to make my new friends and show me around Brisbane! I'm interested in most suburbs so just swing me a message 😊
Hi All, This is going to be a long one so bear with me. I’m looking at moving to Brisbane come August, which I know is a little while away but I’d like to be confident I’d have a place to live before it gets too close. I have a 3 year old male German shepherd (desexed, micro chipped, all vacc’s up to date etc) whose super over the top friendly to everyone and every animal he meets. (Insert worst guard dog ever) He is toilet trained, obedient, only barks at strangers passing by & the postman (cliché’ right?) He’s been raised half inside and half outside alongside a cat, so he is cat friendly, however I would primarily like him to be outside only (except during storms, thunder buddies for life) He absolutely LOVES other dogs; in fact living with someone who also has a medium/large dog (friendly of course) would be great for him as he would have some company during the day. Smaller dogs aren’t so good simply because of his size. A large yard is not a necessity because he gets daily walks, and he sleeps for the better part of the day anyways so a small but fully fenced yard is suitable. About myself, I’m a 24 year old female, have no kids that I know of (Sometimes I’m funny), have been working in Office Management for the past 6 years. I bought my first home by myself when I was 20. And for the last 3 and half years I have been a DIY queen renovating my little abode. It’s now almost ready for a new family to temporarily take over so I can start my new chapter. I’m always up for social drinks and nibbles but can just as easily hibernate for days on end binge watching trashy TV. I cook, clean, mow, hell I’ve even painted an entire home interior twice. (Poor colour choice the first time, don’t ask) My point being, I understand the importance of house maintenance, so I’m very respectable in looking after another’s property. I’m well known for my sarcasm and quick/witty sense of humour, never a dull moment with me. I’m looking at a share house with other like minded females around the same age who are interested in a friendship, not just living with another stranger. Plus I don’t know anyone in Brisbane, so it would be swell to have some gal pals to show me the ropes of this wonderful city. Ideally would love to live within 20mins max of the CBD, I’m not fussed on which areas specifically just as long as it’s relatively close to the city. I’ll start my job hunt when I know for sure where I’ll be based. With that being said, whilst it’s likely I won’t have employment before I move, I will have a rental income from my property plus 6 months’ worth of savings prepared so rest assured paying rent will be no problem whatsoever. A furnished room would be ideal as I’m selling all of my own furniture and belongings; however this is not a necessity and I can get myself a set up if need be. And lastly (thank god I know) because I am a good 700km away, travelling to do an inspection is not really an option as I’d like to keep as much money aside for my impending unemployment. So if it’s suitable to do video chats/walk throughs of the property, just anything you can give me so I have an idea of the house would be really appreciated. But in all honesty, as long as there’s a room and a fenced yard for my sidekick and you aren’t a serial killer, that’s all that matters. Well if you stuck around to read all of that, I hope it was worth it and I’m the roomie you’ve been searching for. If you know you will have a room available, or one coming up in the near future, or even if you want to team up for a house in the coming months, just flick me a message and let me know. Just no calls during the day please as I do work full time. Thanks for your time (:
Hey, I'm Kai... I'm 22, love music (musician myself), I love skateboarding even though I can't really do any tricks and I love to socialise, even if sometimes I can be a bit quiet. I'm currently not studying but have been for the past 2 years or so and intend to get back into studies next year, just after I work and save this year for a holiday and new music equipment, plus a car (hopefully). I'm quite laid back, easy going, tidy and I get along with most people. I'm conscious of my surroundings and respect those I live with and their need for space and time. With my music I can from time to time have a mix (as I dj as well) but I have my headphones so it'll never be a nuisance to anyone. I do tend to spend most of my time at home on my computer either making music or doing some form of promotional work, besides of course gaming. With that I do usually spend a lot of my time in my room but I equally enjoy relaxing outside or in the lounge room, whether doing some gardening, watching a movie or reading a book. I'm also good for a chat, give me a topic like conspiracy theories, religion, history or even politics. Been learning about National Socialism and Fascism recently, quite intriguing stuff actually. I'm also a bit of a party guy to some degree, like music is my life so as a part of that I love going out and seeing top international artists play and sometimes I even go play a few gigs. In saying that though I will always be respectful, it'll be rare that I would have friends over to drink before going out (if ever) and at least until comfortable I'd always ask if everyone minds and such. Also I am a smoker but I'm intending on quitting, especially with this 30% increase on ciggies. So if your a smoker thinking the same thing then we can help each other quit :) If you don't smoke then you'll be of greater assistance to me too haha
Hi everyone, my name is Danica, I had originally advertised for a room for only myself but I am now looking for a room that would be suitable for a couple to share. My partner's name is Tony and we currently live in Clayfield, we have lived in the area for around 5 years so would like to stay in suburbs close to or Clayfield. I am currently studying, my partner works part-time but he tends to be out most days, he likes to be busy. We are quiet but friendly, we are easy-going and don't mind who we live with, I am 29 and my partner is 44 so we don't have wild parties or anything. We don't have children or pets but don't have a problem with either. My partner smokes occasionally but only does so outside and we don't have a great deal of furniture that is going to take up a lot of room, although a room with cuboards built-in would be awesome, I have a lot of clothes and shoes, fortunately my partner doesn't have as much as Udo :) We're happy to move as soon as we can, our apartment building is in a lovely street but is not a good building, there have been two break-ins in the last 6 months in other apartments so we would like to be living somewhere that is safer. We are clean and have good rental history, we are happy to go on leases if needed.
I am an open-minded, polite, and well mannered individual. I have been in the fitness industry for 10 years and am currently a Strength and Conditioning Coach/Personal Trainer who is also managing a gym. It keeps me out of trouble and mindful of my health and fitness. When not in the gym for work or pleasure (pain?) I do play sport and head out for weekend hobbies. This is not to say I am not partial to a glass of red and the conversation/meal/film it is accompanied by. I am a people person and love meeting new people. Not looking for a hectic, late-night household as I need all the beauty sleep I can find. Preferably not smokers either. Couples and pets are most welcome. I you've any queries of me be sure to send me a message. Otherwise, let us get coffee and find a place. Until then I will leave you with this: 'Not ignorance, but ignorance of ignorance, is the death of knowledge.' - Alfred North Whitehead (1861-1947).
I'm a self employed musculoskeletal therapist. Because I'm running my own business I do tend to work long hours. I'm clean, neat & tidy, quiet and respectful. I'm into my health & fitness, so most mornings I'm up early to go to the gym or go for a run. I am social, but also like to have time to myself, I'm very considerate of other people's privacy with this also.
My partner and I are very mature young adults, both working full time as well as part time study. Both have been living out of home for a while and are clean, tidy and helpful people. Always up for a casual chat or a wine/beer, I enjoy cooking and my partner usually cleans also.
22 years old and looking to move out for 6-12 months or longer. I work full time in the city & looking to study as well. I'm a clean & friendly and like to go out with my friends on the weekends.
Hi! My friend Jai and I are currently looking to move to Brisbane again sometime mid June as we will both be starting studying soon after. We have already started applying for houses around the Carseldine area and are just looking for another fun, bubbly and respectful person to join our little fam. About Us! Jai and I became friends through mutual boredom and hatred of a youth camp that we attended about 4 years ago and have kept in contact ever since and catching up whenever we could. 420 friendly ;) Hayley: I currently live on the Gold Coast and have been here for about 2 years now moving from Brisbane and originally my home town of Toowoomba. I'm a pretty chilled person that likes to have a few drinks on a weekend and socialise however i still enjoy a quiet Netflix binge type of weekend as well when I can. I try to focus on my job through the week but still like to have a good work/life balance. I try not to take things too seriously and like to go on magnificent adventures with anyone that's willing, whether that be to Byron Bay/Nimbin for the day or a late night run to maccas :') I will be studying a Diploma in Child Youth and Family Intervention and hopefully back working in Before/After School Care as I have a huge passion for working with kids. Jai: I have been living in Toowoomba for the past year working as an apprentice hairdresser. While my job is amazing and my love for it hasn't at all faltered it's become time to move on to bigger and better things. I am a very easy going, fun loving young person with a passionate love for spontaneous excitement! Weekend drinks or 20 are always a bonus XD I am very keen to find what Brisbane has to offer and am excited to meet new and like minded people to share the next part of our journey with. About You! We are looking for people that are easy going, friendly with a unique personality that won't mind a social and fun household and would like to be apart of our little family If you have any questions for us, please don't hesitate to contact me via email or text :) We'd love to be able to meet with you and get to know each other! Looking forward to meeting you!
