Originally from Canada I moved here 6 years ago. I am clean, reliable, friendly and fun to be around. I work as an exercise physiologist in my own practice as well as subcontracting for another company.
I am a student going into my 3rd year of studying criminology. I am very social and love meeting new people, I work at boost juice so I can make a mean smoothie. I'm clean, well spoken, respectful and easy to get along with, just looking for some like minded people to live with and have fun while doing it
Hi!! My current housemate and I are seeking a new place to live. We're both full time uni students at QUT (I'm studying visual arts, with her studying creative industries.) We are both very easy going, sociable girls, who still need individual time for study. Feel free to contact us if you have any other questions. - Shanae
Hey there, i'm a quirky international student from Viet Nam. I'm an ambivert so that's mean I can be quiet but also I'm fun, friendly and creative. I clean after myself and i'm a person who is honest, reliable, and understand everyone personal space. I love watching movies/series and listening to music. Bonus point, i know how to cook ;)
I'm a 22 year old uni student, going into my final year of journalism and public relations. I'm a super friendly person and am always up for a chat but am super respectful of the other people I live with and also need my own privacy. I'm working casually at typo and also volunteer reading the news at 4ZZZ, hoping to get my own show this year! Because of this I'm looking to live anywhere between Kelvin Grove and Chermside(suburbs listed but anywhere else near the northern busway is fine) I'm a pretty social person but am not into going out all the time or having parties, though I do occasionally like to have friends over for pres or just a couple of drinks. Because I'm in my final year of uni I'm looking for somewhere to live for at least this year, and definitely need to live with people who will respect that I need my space and time for study as well. I'm a very clean person, always clean up after myself and often find myself doing other people's dishes just cause they're there. Usually will clean the entire house when I'm doing my own room. I'm experienced in sharehousing from small to large numbers, prefer to live with larger numbers but don't mind smaller places. I don't have any pets, but am more than happy to live with animals. I'm also interested in possibly doing a team up, potentially with my current housemate Julie, we have a whole house worth of furniture we can bring along!
Hey! my name is Isobel, i'm looking to team up with 2 other people around the same age as me at the start of February. I've already teamed up with 1 guy named Jacob, he's 19 pretty laid back and funny! He goes to UQ and studies Zoology while working part time and is an awesome cook! We are looking for a modern 4 bedroom house around Kelvin Grove, Paddington, Alderley, Spring Hill, and Red Hill/ anywhere close to the city really. We are also looking for a place that is pet friendly, we don't have any animals yet but in the future we might! I'm 19 and I study at QUT full time (Bachelors of Business and Fine Art (Interactive Visual Design) and I work part time in hospitality. I'm fun, easy going, creative, very clean and respectful. I'm quiet social and love hanging out but I understand personal space. I love watching movies/ tv and love to cook healthy meals. Send me a message if there's anything else you want to know about me or Jacob! :)
I'm a PhD Candidate (doing my research about culinary tourism/social media and marketing). Apart from doing my PhD, I also work part-time (a few days per week) as a consulate officer in the CBD. I've lived in a lot of shared houses (both in Brisbane and Glasgow) while Bangkok and Malmö are cities where I spent my childhood. Well I like to think that I'm pretty easy to live with - however I am such a clean/neat freak and a minimalist. I really like something that's marble, woody, white or rose-gold! If the bedroom is unfurnished, that's totally fine since I have got some ideas for my Pinterest-inspired bedroom. Obsessed with all the candles, Aesop products and etc that can make the home is a place to unwind. I would say I prefer to keep the house organised and clutter-free. I mostly cook at home but as a foodie I often go out to find good places/cafes to chill out and catch up with foodies. Although I love cooking and baking (everyone says I'm pretty good at baking anything about matcha) at home, I do use electricity wisely so we can save money and help protect the environment.
What we need: A room or a studio apartment with an own bathroom for a couple. We are willing to spend up-to $275 for a week with the furnishings and the bills. About us: I am Sandali Dinalaththa and my boyfriend is Kanishka Keragala. We were dating for two years and happily married for one month. We both were born in Sri Lanka. We are hoping to move to Brisbane by the mid February to finish my bachelors degree in Computer Science in QUT and kanishka's masters in Hospitality management and MBA in James cook University. We are a planning to work part time while studying. We both are outgoing and friendly. Likes to hang out with friends. Please let us know if you have a place to rent for us 😊 Have a good day. Sandali and Kanishka
Hi! My name is Eliza and I am looking for a room in a share house with some lovely, fun and sociable people! I'm 20 years old and study Drama at QUT. I work as a casual in retail and I'm a pretty active person. I love hanging out with my roommates and don't mind a drink or so but also understand and enjoy my own personal time. I have lived in share house for the past 2 years so I understand the dynamic of the housing situation and respect everyone's space and belongings. I'm available to move in immediately or as required. I'm looking for a place with people similar to my age but am open to slightly older. Unforunished as I have all my bedroom stuff and a non smoking house hold. The North side is my aim due to my studies and work in the CBD. If there is anything else you'd like to know about me please send me a message!
Just a chill person looking for a place to crash and study. I am super easy with anything, clean and pretty quiet. Looking for somewhere close to QUT Kelvin Grove. I love to have a chat, hang out and have a couple of drinks. Need a place ASAP! would love to hear back from you guys!!
Hi I'm Bryce, I'm a 29 year old Australian guy originally from near the Sunshine Coast, and I have close American friend John (Colorado) who is arriving in January on a work visa. We are currently looking for 2/3 bedroom house or unit to move into around the beginning of February. Not opposed to moving into a place with another person to make it 3 people, within reason (i.e. relatively large place). I work in the oil & gas/mining exploration industry, and I also have a small scale GIS business on the side when I'm not working away in the field. John has just finished 12 months working at a research station down in Antartica and will most likely be working for the exploration company I work for early next year. We are all fairly well travelled and love to have a chat! If your place sounds like a perfect place for us to move into and around the time we are looking at, please hit me up!
*(I will only be able to do viewings from 9 Feb onwards).* Hey, I'm Kai! I'm a 22 y.o. from Singapore who's going to study in QUT for 2+ years in 2017 and so I am searching for a place to call home in Brisbane. :) I'm friendly, open and laid-back so I'm easy to make friends with and hangout. :) Some days I like to have a quiet evening by myself and other days I'll be down to hang . I will respect your personal space and hope you do the same for me as well! I have done an okay amount of travelling, mostly by myself staying in hostels and so I have no problems with socialising and sharing (although I'm looking for a room all to myself). I am a responsible, clean and tidy individual so you don't have to worry about dishes left in the sink uncleaned or toothpaste smeared on the basin. I like the outdoorsy stuff especially surfing (I'm a beginner and am hoping to surf more!); video games are also my thing and I'm trying to learn the guitar. If not, I'll just be lazing around. 8) I'm looking for responsible, good natured and sociable flatmates who wouldn't mind making a new friend! Looking forward to meeting you! :)
Heyy, I'm looking for a place to stay in Brisbane since I've just graduated and live on the Sunshine coast but will be going to QUT. I'm friendly, easy going and reliable. I'm also very new to this as well. I enjoy the outdoors, reading books, and food of course
Hello! I am Lacey:) I am clean and tidy and work full time but also don't mind going out and having wine & cheese nights. I would like to live with someone who is friendly as well! I am looking for a modern master room with en suite and aircon if you have something similar please do let me know.
Hey there, I'm Emily, 20 years old and a student. I study at QUT and am a second year Secondary Education student majoring in History. I work part time at an Outside School Hours Care in Moggill and at Suncorp Stadium as Bar Staff. I'm friendly and quiet but still happy to be social with my new roomies. I've lived in share houses for four years and have shared with lots of different people, all ages, genders and nationalities. I'm an animal lover so pets are no issue for me, I'd say they're encouraged :) I'm looking for a place with easy access to public transport (specifically train stations or the 444 bus) and an unfurnished room is a must as I have a queen sized bed, desk and other miscellaneous bits of furniture. I've joined a gym and attempt to go often but it usually ends in completing my Gilmore Girls binge on Netflix, my favourite pastime. I'm way too excited for Game of Thrones to return this year and roommates who watch it with me are encouraged to message me. Bonus points if you love Harry Potter. I can be a little flexible with the move date and am happy to overlap for a week or two if the right place comes along, If you want to know anything else just shoot me a message, I'm more than happy to answer any of your questions :) P.S. I'm currently working a lot so messaging on Flatmates would be the best way to contact me :)
I'm a 20yo studying Law full-time and working. Looking for an easygoing household to move in with, preferably for 6months+ and close to either QUT Kelvin Grove or Gardens Point!
I'm tidy, organised and quiet. I'm from Brazil and I'm looking for a place where I can meet new friends that can help me to improve my English.
I like to think that my banter is on point and when it's not, I make up for it with better than average cooking. I'm an international student, studying political science at UQ, who likes to chill, talk feminism and have a wicked time. I don't like to brag, but I often receive compliments on my mopping skills.
My friend Dana and I are looking to move out with some more people in early February to save some money and meet some great people. So a little bit about us... I'm a recent journalism and PR graduate, currently work casual in Milton while gaining some more experience in PR. Dana studies exercise physiology and works two jobs in the CBD in retail and food services so she's a trooper. We both enjoy drinks on the weekend or just after a long day, nachos (or any mexican food really) and kicking back with some Netflix. We're looking for a house close to the city with nearby public transport and a supermarket. Our search has been mostly Newmarket, Kelvin Grove and Alderley. If you're interested send me a message and we'd be happy to meet up :)
Easy going international student looking for accommodation for one semester (Feb - Jul 2017). I am looking for a place walking distance to either Kelvin Groove or Garden Point Campus. Preferably shared with other students or young professionals my age.
Hi! My friend Alex and I are moving to Brisbane in February and are looking for a place to stay for our first month in the city. (If we like the place we're more than open to extending our stay as we'll be staying in Brisbane for a while.) Alex and I have been friends for almost 10 years - ever since we shared a room together in Greece during a summer when we worked as bartenders in one of the local clubs on Kos island! A lot has happened since then though, and today I'm an IT consultant at a web agency in Stockholm and Alex has a degree in engineering. I will keep working at my job remotely during my stay in Brisbane, so I'll be spending most of my evenings on my laptop communicating with Sweden, and therefore highly value a good internet connection! We both love to meet new people and hang out and socialise and we're looking forward to introducing Australia to the Swedish concept of "fika". We are also fun, caring and respectful individuals and we are looking to move in on the 3rd Feb. XX
My name is Clara, a girl from Hong Kong and a future nursing student at QUT starting from February for two years. I am passionate about travelling and have been to many countries in the world. I have spent a year living in France and two years in Australia previously, I love discovering new things and learning new challenges. I may sound adventurous but I am a quiet person who is also willing to share the joy of life. I am a very respectful and clean person. I prefer keeping living area clean and making it pleasant to live. I am looking for a private room furnished with a bed, a study desk, a chair and wardrobe for myself in a clean and tidy apartment or house, hopefully it is not too far away from my campus (maximum 30 minutes by bus) as I do not have a car. I will also need a lot of quiet space for my study, no party house please. I have a strong faith in Christianity, my living lifestyle is very healthy and I do not like parties and drinking. I am currently not in Australia and will check the room in mid- February.
I'm looking for a place to live during my first year at QUT; I'm studying a Bachelor of Journalism at Kelvin Grove. I'm currently working at Woolworths, which will continue throughout university. I’m a quiet and easy-going guy, known for being very clean and organised with my room and workspace. I’m also very responsible with my weekly earnings, which is a necessity for university life. I hope to hear from you; please don't hesitate to get in touch. 😊
All my friends are now married, so I'm seeking to share a unit/townhouse with one other person. Preferably two bathrooms and a carpark (although a place with ample street parking is also fine) - these are not a prerequisite however. Looking anywhere Brisbane Inner North (I have listed many example suburb options but not further North than Chermside). Looking to move now, as I have had to extend my lease a further two weeks to Feb 1st. I work at Eagle Farm so closer to there is ideal. I have all the gear required to setup a place (indoor/outdoor furniture, TV, kitchen stuff etc etc), so if you have a place for rent that is already kitted out (or nowhere for me to store) chances are it might be tough for us to manage. Unfortunately it seems many of the rooms listed for rent are also already kitted out. I have storage options available for some of my items but not all, so perhaps something could be negotiated there. Happy to meet up this week to discuss teamup possibilities and gauge suitability. My work is understanding with me needing to find a place to rent so anytime can be arranged. I work as a logistics manager for an IT company have just completed two degrees (Diploma of Graphic Design / Bachelor of Communication Design) in the past 2.5 years. Weekends I like to go to the beach / hiking / visiting friends. I would like to find someone who is open to the possibility doing a bit of meal sharing because I enjoy cooking for others more than myself and I appreciate that communal aspect of it. I like to have a couple of hours later in the weeknight evenings to myself to work on projects / wind down. Flexible with leasing options but would rather something 6months+ Cheers!
I'm a design student at QUT who is looking for an awesome modern and clean bedroom/ensuite. I am fairly active and semi extrovert/introvert - I'm up for a chat if you are. I am looking for a place from February onwards. I am very clean and do my part to clean up as well. I enjoy my privacy and a good amount of space. Would love to live in a place that is neat and tidy. I have a 4 month old kitten which is furball of love which I will keep in my room (unless you want her outside!!). I am very responsible and an excellent housemate ! Don't mind teaming up with another female/couple .
Friends since high school, lived in Brisbane 3yrs, if your house is close to public transport we are interested. If you have a cat we are VERY interested. Not a couple. We are looking for two private rooms
Hello, My name is Rachel, I am a student studying media in Toronto, Canada. I will be studying on exchange in Brisbane at Queensland University of Technology for the semester. I am hoping to live with other students or young professionals who are familiar with Brisbane and the surrounding areas. I am always open to making new friends and memories. I spend most of my time outside exploring, taking photos and shooting video. When I'm not out exploring, chances are I'll be in my room editing. I'm a very tidy and organized person as I like to keep my living and working space clean. I'm super chill and easy going. Hater of conflict, keeper of peace. Runner Cyclist Paddler Diver Hiker Aspiring surfer
My name is Elly Vickere, i'm super laid back, I have two dogs and we're looking for a home! I'm interested in a team up, or to enter into a share house. I'm a bartender and am about to start studying a bachelor of writing at QUT kelvin grove. I go to the gym every day and the dogs and I enjoy a good morning walk daily. I'm very tidy, I clean up after myself and the dogs. I'm quiet and respectful also. I'm looking for a long term stay and I'm looking to move within the fortnight. Send me a message and let me know if we can start something or join your team!
I'm from Victoria and coming up to the sunnier state to continue my Bachelor degree as a full-time student. I will also be working whenever I can. I'm tidy, respectful and reliable. More than happy to have a chat over a drink or cuppa, but also understand people need their space too. I love sport, music, hiking, swimming, cooking, dancing, gaming (board games too), reading, karaoke, 8-ball... Pretty much most things, and willing to give something new a go. My rent budget includes bills and my move in date for now is around the 18-19th of February. PM, SMS or call me anytime :)
Hi! Im Johnson and i am from Germany for a semester abroad in my last years of my electrical engineering degree. I have asian roots, i am super clean, tidy, easy going and uncomplicated. I also like doing sports, food, games and traveling .
Im a 22yo, currently living in north lakes, need a place to live permanently, I work full time for an IT company on the Northside, preferably a place on the southside, play football for tarragindi tigers, starting tafe part time in February, easy going, tidy, clean, got a work car and a personal car, easy to get a long with usually like doing fitness and playing sport in my spare time, non-smoker, live a busy lifestyle but looking for some easy going housemates, not the one to party every week but don't mind a drink or two every once in a while.
Hi my name is Lisa! I recently just graduated from uni and i'm working part-time for a Marketing company and part-time as a sales consultant. I am looking for flatmates who are like minded like myself. I am very easy going, friendly and I enjoy a bit of a chat now and then. I enjoy keeping fit by playing tennis, cooking and having a social glass of wine with friends. I am great to live with because I am an organised, clean and a respectable person who gets along with most people. Feel free to send me a message :-)
My friend Dan and I are looking to team-up for a 3 or 4 bedroom place somewhere in the inner-city on the northside. Although we're pretty flexible on location. I'm a full time engineering and IT student at UQ and I also work part-time in Spring Hill/CBD. Dan and I live together already and he works part-time at an Aldi store. I have a 1 yr old black labrador called Indy. She's still very puppy like but doesn't get up to much trouble any more. We can fully furnish the new place so if you only have things to fill your bedroom that's fine with us. We also have a netflix to share on a 4k TV if that's your jam. We're looking to stay in a house with a yard ideally with floorboards to help keep things clean. Let us know if you're interested or have any other questions!
Hello. My name is Dylan. I'm 24 years of age. I'm seeking a new place to call home. I'm a down to earth positive kind of person who loves there own space, but I also enjoy socialising and hanging out with cool like minded people. I'm looking for a home that has a relaxed yet clean feeling, and somewhere that feels like home. I'm not seeking a student type of accommodation, with many people, and little space. I work full time and often find myself away when I get time away from work. I'm extremely healthy and love to cook and get outdoors. If you have a place already or your looking for one more person to join a new property let me know. If you feel I would suit reach out and let's connect!
I study both theatre and film in Kelvin Grove. I am an independent young person. I enjoy video games, movies, physical activity (sport) and have an interest in a healthy lifestyle. I'm very easy going and easy to talk to, I have a cheery and charismatic personality :). I'm organized, clean and tidy, considerate and respectful of personal space and privacy. Also on the weekends I tend to head back to my home in Noosa (The Sunshine Coast).
Hey! :) I'm Steph, I'm 28, I work full time and study part time, I'm pretty neat and like a clean and tidy house (as long as the main areas like kitchen and lounge etc are tidy I don't care about your bedroom lol mine is usually pretty messy but that's why there's a door.. to close it and forget about it... haha) :) I'm looking to live either the Northside (Nundah, Aspley, Kelvin Grove, Bridgeman Downs etc) or on the Southside (Springfield Lakes, Augustine Heights, Brookwater, Collingwood Park etc) BUT not until around April-ish. Ok... so I know a lot of people don't wanna live with a kid but honestly, its really no big deal at all. You can still have friends round etc, nothing would have to change i promise! lol :) My boy is almost 9, so he can pretty much look after himself lol He looooves playing xbox and would loooove to have an xbox buddy to play GTA with lol (also no baby daddy drama - not involved). We also have an indoor ragdoll cat named Alice. Shes like a dog and follows you around everywhere and waits at the door when u get home lol she actually loves dogs too, we used to have a beagle and theyd play fight and snuggle up together :) so cute! Anyhoo, I'm looking another person to get a house together, preferably a guy, for safety and i just tend to get along better with them. Obviously we will have to apply for houses so you'd clearly need to be approved on that to live there lol You also must be reliable and pay rent on time, respectful of privacy, the property and of other peoples things, work fulltime and have a stable income, funny, preferably single and around similar age. What is especially important is that you behave appropriately around my son. He needs a good male role model who knows how to respect women etc. I'd prefer a house rather than a unit. It'd be cool if it had a deck and nice yard and maybe even a pool !?! :D (u can be the pool boy lol) and undercover parking (lock up garage) would be ideal :) I have all the furniture already, big leather lounge, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, dryer, foxtel (priorities people!) lol and then plates cups blah blah blah :) you'd only need your bedroom stuff really :) I'd also be super keen for a few drinks on a friday or Saturday night to relax and unwind after a busy working week if you are :) I looooove cooking and literally make the best caramel tarts you'll ever eat (i have references for this lol), im pretty easy going, love a good laugh and have a very sarcastic sense of humour. So you'd definitely have to be funny, easy going, down to earth and be able to take a joke lol I love going to the drive in movies, bowling, to the park and the beach and would really love to get a puppy! So if you've already got a dog that's good with kids that'd be so awesome! Hope to hear from you soon :)
Just when you've concluded I'm a quiet guy, I'll shoot a quip. I love fruit n' vegetables (I'm a Woolies thingy), yet have a career in mind (Diplo financial planning), down the road. I'm that person with the desktop PC (EVEOnline player), and an opinion on the stock market. I also eat too many Quesadillas.
Just graduated from university with 6 months left in this beautiful country before I go back to my home town in Spain. I am very chilled and responsible, always happy to go out, play football or stay at home chilling, yeah.
Easygoing, fairly quiet, and neat. Gets along well with lots of different people. Good at managing household duties, not shy of work. First year paramedic student, two years out of high school. Own vehicle. Mature and independent.
Hey! My name is Tae and I'm looking for a friendly place to move into! Don't have many requirements, however I must find a place that I can park a small hatchback. I'm studying a Bachelor of Music at the Queensland Conservatorium, but I promise I won't make any noise! For 2017 however I'm intending to take a gap year to focus on working full time. I have a good deal of share housing experience and understand the necessity for cleanliness and shared responsibilities, as well as respecting everyones space. Love having a chat and a drink as much as I love to go out and explore new places.
I'm a 20 year old guy working 3-5 days as a barista and producing music in my spare time. I'm definitely a social type and I can always go a beer, but I appreciate my space as well mostly when I'm writing music or over-internalising trivial problems like how almond milk is made. Looking for like minded folks who do their own thing but like to socialise as well.
Hi, my partner and i are looking for a room to rent. A little about us, im 24 and studying a double degree at QUT. I also work part time (about 30hrs p/w) in retail. My partner works full time in south brisbane. We are both active people who get to the gym about 4-5 times a week so between work/study and gym we are rarely home but when we are we like to just relax, not party animals at all. We are considerate of others space but also dont mind socializing after work or on the weekend.
Hey friends ! I'm shanice , I turn 20 in march and have a beautiful friendly cat named Chevy. I am looking to either find another potential housemate to come with me to find two bedroom places around red hill (and surrounding suburbs !) - or am finding a two bedroom place for me and chevy to stay in , potentially 6+ months. I work as a barista at my mums cafe in Ashgrove (which means potential free muffins or scones everyday) and am easy going and friendly, love sharing time with housemates and also know the boundaries of space and alone time. I enjoy an occasional drink and chat, as well as cooking and music ! Super LGBT+ and 420 friends - definitely a free and accepting spirit :) Please message me or text me
Hi ya'll, I'm looking for a room to share in the inner-city suburbs as i work full time in the city. I work quite a bit but would love to find a house share with roommates to hang with and enjoy some down time. I also have a beautiful 4 year old cat, she fully house trained and has been an indoor cat most of her life. Please contact me if you have any questions or if you'd like to grab a beer and get to know me more.
Paramedic/Nursing Student moving from Perth to Brisbane with my partner to study at QUT, Kelvin Grove Campus. Looking for a place within max 10 minutes walking distance from the university campus. :)
