Easy going guy from Slovakia who enjoys adventure, travelling, hitting the gym, a ton of sports (mostly water and snow, dance) or anything to do with the food. I came to Australia because of work.
I'm a laid back Japanese guy who wants a place to relax and live. I love sports and I'm pretty active myself. I'm looking for a cheap room with clean and friendly roommate. Not too picky because of my budget. Max of 150 including bills Planning on going to CQU so any room near there will be considered
Hey hey guys! My name is Caitlin and I have been in Brisbane for nearly 3 years! I am Northern Irish - and lived at the Sunny Coast from 2012-2015. My lease sadly comes to an end at the end of January and my housemates are moving away / moving in with partners and I will have to say goodbye to my family <3 I am looking at living in an apartment or shared house with around 2 other people. I have had such a good time in my current unit, and I would love to find some people who I can live with / but get along with super well. I will be returning to university next year to complete my Primary Education degree and I work. I am also a singer guitarist, so I gig around Brisbane too. I am a very easy going person, and I am always very respectful of one another! I love a clean and tidy house, and I love company, however I totally respect privacy. When I am not working, I enjoying catching up with friends, exercising, going to the beach, playing my guitar, and having a couple of beers. If I sound like your type of roomie, feel free to shoot me a message!!! Cheers.
Hi, I am Nadia. I'm from Indonesia, I just resigned from my job in the orangutans conservation NGO. And yes I used to go back and forth the deep jungle of Borneo and hangout with orangutans. I am moving to Brisbane on Dec 11th, I'm holding a Resident Return visa (my stepdad is Australian), so I might ask my future flatmates to visit the real Australian outback in Murgon for one weekend or something. I've been back and forth Australia-Indonesia for about 6-7 times, and now I am going to stay here for good. I am tidy but not a clean freak and I might be quite shy at first, but I will be more outgoing once you get to know me :D I love playing video games, painting, listening to music and enjoy going to music festivals or shows. I would love to have a gym buddy flatmates that can motivate me since I can be a slight couch-potato sometimes. When the weather is right, I love heading out to the beach for a lazy day (of course not in shark-infested water) and strolling/hiking (well I go to the jungle for a living). I love pets (anything really, from dogs, snakes, spiders and only nice cats (because most cats are satan's pawn)) I do drink socially, I like good sweet wine and cider. I don't smoke, but I am okay with smokers, I won't cough in your face on purpose. What I can offer: well-behaved roomie (I'm talking about myself here) with a good sense of humour who rarely gets offended and also a good listener. Gym buddy and a competitive gamer buddy (especially in guitar hero). I've climbed one of the highest peaks in Southeast Asia with its summit sitting at 13,435 feet (Mt. Kinabalu) and skydived in Toogoolawah, so I'm up for anything! Ideally, I would have liked to have found a place to stay by mid of December, either by a team-up or a room perfect for me to stay for 12 months+
Currently live in the Sunshine Coast but am travelling down for both university and work. Monday-Friday most likely would be at uni (where I am studying Civil Engineering at QUT) or out and about. I'd probably travel back up to the coast on weekends, unless I have planned to study/catch up with friends in the city. Love to kick back and relax with a glass of wine some nights helps get through those pesky uni assignments and also enjoy going for a run to relieve stress. Don’t mind myself night out too! I drive a fair bit so am just looking to cut that down during the week as my bank account is suffering big time. Fuel prices are ridic :(( Sooo I don't have a lot of needs just looking for an easy-going place thats not too pricey Move date is super flexible too
G'day potential flatmates I'm a pretty low key housemate - considerate, friendly and clean. I have a full time job at a media production company, and work at a bar over the weekends. During the week I spend 30% of my time at home to get away from the office. Social, always up for a chat, and still friends with all of my previous ones from past houses! My spare time is often spent hanging out with friends, in the outdoors, or going overseas. (Happy to pay more for the master, would prefer not to share a bathroom) I like people that have a positive outlook on life and are motivated!
I'm a young professional working for an engineering consultancy. I am moving from New Zealand Really keen on getting out and about on the weekends and try explore the wider Brisbane area as much as possible, to go surfing, swimming, hiking and camping. Consider myself easy going and sociable.
I work as a Disability Support Worker and my client will be moving to Goodna before the end of 2019. While i can drive to Goodna from my current location, it will be further than i would like to travel for work, and I want to avoid the toll roads. Am looking for a place within 10-30mins from goodna, would like to be closer to the city if possible, not in goodna or redbank as its too close to client. FURNISHED ROOM is a requirement. I dont drink or smoke. Not a very social person and like to keep to my self, can sit and have a chat, but as I'm usually sleeping when people are awake theres not many opportunities. Once I'm asleep, noise doesn't bother me and I'm a heavy sleeper, watching tv, vacuuming, entertaining guests doesn't bother me when I'm sleeping as long as its reasonable. Currently work overnights 3 days a week and morning work for the rest. Will be looking to get more overnight shifts further down the road. Dont have a set moving date, will travel the extra for work until i find a place that suits me, not in a hurry to move.
I'm an enthusiastic and respectable guy, and I'm really easy to get along with. I'm originally from a farming background out of town. Ideally looking for somewhere not too far from QUT Kelvin Grove and would prefer to stay with other easygoing young guys. Looking for furnished rooms with bills included to simplify my budgeting. My current lease ends on 13th January 2020, so I would not be able to move before then. Thanks, Sam.
Looking for a place thats accessible since I'm an amputee (lift, no stairs ect) and need my own bathroom. A place near qut kelvin grove or public transport. I'm flexible with move in date and Im happy to team up to find a place. I'm tidy and like my own space but also like a good chat. I love watching movies, playing guitar and sewing. I probably spend way too much time on the computer so ideally would like to live with someone who won't judge me for that (or for my terrible cooking skills)
Gonna be moving up to brisbane from sydney at the end of Jan/start of feb to study at QUT. Will be out of the house for majority of every day and some nights depending on uni work. Will also be looking for weekend work once I get up to Brisbane. I'm pretty chill and don't mind a drink or feed when the opportunity presents itself
