Looking to team up with a few others to start a share house in the northern suburbs! Clean, easy-going, and somewhat social house where everyone can relax. Rooms will be max $150pw each. Inclusive and open minded individuals strongly preferred (LGBT+, centrelink, students). I have all the household appliances and furnishings that may be required and even some spare bedroom furniture should you need it. I'm a full time student and part time worker. I'm a huge fan of b-grade movies and cult classics! Love a good game or movie, but also respect that everyone needs space. Always reliable with bills and never, ever, paid anything late. If you'd like to start a house let me know and we can get the process going!

Salutations! My name is Tanielle Gordon, I am 20 years of age. I am a full-time student and growing artist studying Illustration in the Visual Arts department. I am looking to move to North Melbourne from the 26th of June with a budget of around $150-$160. I am a VERY polite, clean and tidy person. I will not leave a room without cleaning up after myself! Cleanliness is key. I like to keep to myself but of course always up for a cup of tea or coffee! I spend most of the week studying, when I'm not I like to dabble between many creative hobbies or I'll be out and about! I am very respectful of others, their property and beliefs! I hope to find my future roommate/s that I can feel at home with. I would love to hear from you. Thank you, Tanielle :)
Im looking to start my studies in Melbourne at the beginning of 2018, but prior to this start fulltime work. I am an easy going person who is clean and respectful. I love meeting new people and making friends. I have plenty of interests including woodworking and sports. I currently live in the south coast and scheduled to move in mid july. Furnished rooms are an only option for me as transporting rooms is a bit to complicated.
Hi guys, I wonder if you can help me with this as I'm looking for a place to move (really really appreciate). I live in Reservoir. I was asked to move out in a week yesterday (15th June) I got panicked and i had already paid my rent till end of this month (paid on 1st of every month for full month) so i think i have the right to stay till end of this month at least??? My housemate is a very self-centered and selfish guy but that's just how a person is. He's the main tenant. The landlord is his ex-colleague. Myself are ok guy, can say nice and easy going type, will help others if needed and I'm the co-tenant but i don’t have any right in the house other than pack my stuff and move. But i need time to find a place that suits me and nice housemate. Here I have few problems. First of all, I'm 39 now, so i thought i am too old to find housemate? 2nd, i have decent size bedroom (3.05m x 4.35m) i get to fit all my tables and king bed/can fold to double bed. Then also we have a double garage i get to park my car for protection especially in summer when there is hail. Given the situation I know I can’t have all that when I move so I have to park my car off street and risk getting break-in. I’m onsite computer technician usually have over a thousand worth of stocks in car boot (that got break-in once). Depends on if I can find someone who’d allow me to have a small space in living room to put some of my stuff or put in storage. Basically I don’t have a lot of stuff. Just one table (1.15m x 0.72m) I use to setup computers sometime at home (most of my work are onsite at client’s home or office) and a small bookcase in the living room. Some car maintenance stuff and boxes in garage. Don’t really know how to cook so i don't really use kitchen much. Don’t watch TV so usually my housemate will have the whole living room to himself. Don't use heater except my housemate so our bill is quite low. However, I do surf and use internet a lot so internet is priority to me (we have unlimited broadband so no drama). Why don’t I find my own place instead? I ask the same question myself but I prefer to find someone to team up and look to stay for long term if have to find own place (If anyone interested, please do let me know). That way I know we’ll be able to pay the rent and bills without over stress. My kinda work, sometimes busy for weeks and sometimes no work for days but overall income is ok, paying rent and bills won’t be a problem Current rent I pay is approx. $160/w + share bills Let me know if you can help. Thanks in advance. Update - housemate said i could stay till end of month and continue to pay rent till i find a place but expect me to move out by july if not later.
I am looking for one room in Reservoir and surrounding areas. I am studying at La Trobe and originally came from a country in Southeast Asia I am friendly and a bit quiet sometimes. I dont drink nor smoke, so technically not into a party or noisy house as I am in final year of studying I am clean and tidy; at least in using shared space. I am reliable on rent and looking forwards to having a nice place to stay. Would also like to stay longer if the place suits well Please contact us if you are interested Cheers
Hi there! My name is Clodie, I'm from France. I moved to Melbourne because I am going to start taking journalism classes at La Trobe University in July. I have lived in a flat with a roommate for a year and a half and I loved it, which is why I decided to do the same here. I am very friendly and easy to live with, I am always happy to have a chat and to joke around. I also love cooking so I'll be happy to cook for my roommates from time to time. I am a big fan of TV-shows, I have seen a thousand of them! I love discovering new things and do fun activities whenever I can, as well as going out with my friends on the weekends. But most of all, as you might have noticed, I suck at describing myself so if you want to know more about me do not hesitate to contact me!! haha
I am 30 year old female, fun loving, easy going & loves adventures. In my spare time, I play badminton or go hiking. I am very well organised, neat & tidy. I am single, non smoker & no pets
Hi! My name is Jess and i have been renting for 8 years now (yikes i'm old). I work full time as a nanny and study on weekends. I have a 5 y/o cat Luna who is the love of my life (and will be yours too i'm sure). Have lived in my current house for 4 years but looking to move somewhere a bit newer and with a decent backyard (would love to adopt a dog in the near future). Luna is a fully indoor cat so you would need to be comfortable with her being around 24/7. I love a good netflix session, and trying out random new vegetarian recipes (oh yeah, i'm also vegetarian but don't care if you eat meat). Other than that i think i'm pretty chill to live with. I'm clean (almost obsessively) and like things to stay that way. Not looking for a party house by any means, and not ready to move right away. Ideally looking for the right person to start a new sharehouse with. If that's you, hit me up! Please note: Not looking for a room in an existing house. Looking to team up to start a new house, or ideally live alone
I'm easy going, sociable, love to cook and a tidy person. I'm a mature and fun loving 21 year old ready to make the move from Newcastle to Melbourne to pursue my passion for archaeology. I have just been accepted to La Trobe for a masters in professional archaeology. I love to read, watch tv and get amongst the great outdoors occasionally. I enjoy hanging out and sharing a meal but I am also respectful of personal space.
Hi, I am a muslim girl from Indonesia. Been here in Melbourne since June 11, 2016 and will be staying here until August 2018. I am a full-time student studying Master of Chemical Science at La Trobe University in Bundoora. I am a talkative person who love sports, like horse-riding, skydiving and scuba-diving. I am looking for a room without any dogs around and in a quiet circumstance (since I am a student and need a "good" place to study).
We are a Danish couple looking for a nice place to live near La Trobe University, where we are going to study for one semester. We will arrive in Melbourne the 8. july. Anders studies business economics and Astrid studies sociology. We consider ourselves as nice and considerate people, and would enjoy to stay a place with people who would like to share a meal once in while. In our spare time we enjoy to travel, be active and get to know new people.
Moving from Perth to Melbourne for studies at La Trobe. Will be studying full time so will be keeping myself busy. Love my sport and tv shows. Very easy going, organised and tidy. Hit me up if I sound like i could be a good fit!
I'm Tiffany, 20 years old studying psychology at Victoria University & waitress in Northcote. My partner, Mitch is 24 & a chef in Thornbury. We are both clean and friendly individuals who both work/ study a fair amount however enjoy hanging out in our spare time and helping out around the house. Please let me know if you have a room suited to us. Kind Regards, Tiffany & Mitch
My name is Ali, I'm 36 and a student. I'm currently obtaining my Diploma in Youth and Community Services. Although I'm not home most times, I do enjoy good company (I love to discuss any topic, controversial or otherwise), cooking and maintaining a light mood all around. Most of all, I take great pride in keeping my immediate living quarters clean and presentable. My current conundrum is that the house I live in will be up for sale and thus, I have to vacate no later than September. Hopefully I'll be in a new home by then :)
Hi guys, I am a finance student at La Trobe University willing to stay closer to the city. Clean, neat, and jolly. Would work on my bills aptly. Interests include sports, music, gaming, tech and exploring food and places. Enjoy socializing as well.
Hi, my name is Michael. I am 34, been employed full time for nearly 10 years so pretty stable there! Have a car which I would need to park somewhere (not precious about it or where to park). I also have all the furniture I need and would prefer an unfurnished room but can work around anything! Accompanying me will be my dog, Tony, an 11 year old Silky Terrier. He is great with cats and has lived with them most of his life. He is good with quieter type dogs regardless of size, not so good with more active and boystrous dogs however. About me, I am pretty laid back easy going kind of person. Very open minded and love a good chat about nearly anything. In the same breath I do enjoy just doing my own thing from time to time. I like cooking and am not too bad at it at all. I also cook some good Weber barbecue in summer and I don't mind sharing! I am very domesticated and clean. I don't smoke but don't mind living with smokers. Hobbies, well I like watching TV, mostly documentaries these days but also since getting Netflix, all sorts of random stuff. I love camping, 4x4 and MTB (trails, enduro style and downhill). Also like dinners, shows, movies, anything really, will try almost everything once. I am looking for somewhere long term, somewhere to call home. Not looking to hop around too often as I am not a big fan of moving! If I sound like your person, feel free to send me a message!
Looking for a large room or granny flat. I'm semi retired but always able to pay bills on time.I'm pretty relaxed, used to sharing accommodation with other people from a variety of backgrounds ethnicities and age groups. I like gardening, rediscovering music ( keyboard and guitar) and doing online study. I'm also interested in people who wish to start up a new lease and are looking for others. I am able to put up the bond immediately but obviously I will need to be paid back.
