Hey I'm Gianni - Relaxed, mature age (31) full time Botany Honours student at La Trobe, work as a casual TV/film extra and as a casual leather furniture repairer. Born and raised in Melbourne. I am also receieving AUSTUDY which means we can get a 17% discount on electricity bills if I move in with you. In 2013, I quit my office job of 10 years, sold my house and moved to South America where I volunteered on farms and produced a short film in Colombia with local students. I have also backpacked through Asia, Greece and Mexico in the past. I have been living independently and with housemates since 20yrs old. I keep things tidy and respect others and their property. I know how to cook, wash dishes and clean toilets etc., and am willing to learn the house rules/methods. I'm capable, honest, reliable and a good listener. I'm handy with computers and in the garden - I would be happy to assist with any home garden projects :) I am friendly with all animals and have lots of experience setting up/maintaining large aquariums :) I dog-sit my sisters Neopolitan Mastif every now and then. Overall, I have a cheerful, social, positive attitude and am mindful/respectful of the freedoms of others so I tend to get along well with like-minded people who have aspirations or keep busy . I'm looking forward to meeting you and good times ahead., so feel free to contact me -happy to share any information you require :-) Things that are important to me: After many years of the fast & loud lifestyle, these days I tend to prefer a chilled environment. Most of my time is spent in the lab, including nights, so I probably wont be around too much anyway. The basic, common sense things are important to me because they provide a base on which the rest can be built. For example, if housemates are generally caring and respectful to each other and prepared to pitch in equally and keep communication flowing, then it creates a very nice and inviting vibe in the home. Who knows what good things may come when there is a common understanding and trust. Regarding Food, Furniture and Appliances: Although I like to have shared/communal meals, I probably won't have time to participate in that this year while I'm doing Honours, so I will prepare my own meals as per usual. I have an appreciation for all types of cuisines and I will eat just about anything because I have no allergies! I keep a simple but healthy diet by eating a variety of foods and lots of fruit and veg. As far as appliances go, I have: a pretty much new 520L Kelvinator Fridge that is in excellent condition a 6.5kg top loader washing machine also in very good condition a toaster, sandwich press and rice cooker. I also have some kitchenware, plates, bowls, pans etc. And a 50' Plasma TV (but not sure if I'll keep it) As for Furniture, I have a queen bed, desk and bookshelves for my room and a 2 seater plus chaise lounge (can be stored or sold if not needed). Other than that I have some pot plants and a couple of mountain bikes. I'll adjust what I bring over depending on the area and shape of the room I move to :)
I'm a very friendly and uncomplicated individual. I like it clean and prefer a calm and respectful relationship with other roommates. I have a periodical income and pay my rent punctual. To pay my rent is always my first priority. Back in Germany I was a Property Manager and Real Estate Agent. If you need help with bills or with your rent, I could probably help a lot. Because of that background, I try to avoid trouble with the landlord. Anyway I'm uncomplicated and solvent. I don't smoke, have no children and no pets but have no problems with people, who have those things or who smokes. I like to help and to share my stories with new friendly people. However, it would be nice, if i meet new people. Maybe we become new friends. If that is the case, you will be always welcomed in Berlin, Germany.

Hey I'm Casey, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Perth to study journalism at La Trobe, Bundoora and I'm looking for somewhere to live close to Uni. Pretty happy to keep to myself most of the time but I'm always keen for a chat and a glass of wine after a long day. I'm pretty relaxed and love to cook, I'm clean and tidy and I think I would be a great addition to your household :)
Hi guys, I am a student at La Trobe uni. I am clean, tidy and respectful looking for a room to rent with someone who respectfully and social. Also, I like having to chat with a cup of tea. I am always busy related to my studies.
Hi! I'm french but I actually live in Spain for 8 years now. I'm working on a PhD in Political Studies and as a french teacher as well. I'm coming to Melbourne to study at La Trobe University and to conduct some of my PhD fieldwork. I've shared flats since I was 18 and I enjoy to have a good chat and laugh with nice and interesting people, but I also like to have my own space to study or listen music. I'm not really into sports but at least I try to keep fit. I do love music (to play and listen), movies and books. I really love pets (both cats and dogs) but I don't have one of my own.
Both studying at La Trobe, 2 clean and social guys who like to be around fun loving people who are accepting of people different or the same as them, not looking for party animals who are going to be banging on the door in the am to get in every weekend maybe once a month is okay). We both work part time and have relatively stable rosters but they sometimes change up a bit in the holidays. We have been looking solo for 2 months now but have found the market is too competitive for students atm with a lot of full time workers or families taking the leases we're applying for, we thought this might be worth trying. Drop us a message to find out more about us :)
I'm currently studying Nursing full time at La Trobe while working part time. I do spend a lot of my time studying when I'm not working or at uni but I do also enjoy staying fit and healthy, the occasional night out and relaxed nights in watching movies.
Hi there. I am impeccably reliable, honest and greatly respect a home that's not mine. I have a clean rental record, am NON-SMOKER. Love pets even though I don't have any of my own...sure happy to enjoy yours with you... I love family guy and SNL sketch comedy and at the moment am on a real fitness focus..I am a performer and entertainer by trade and work in and around melbourne. I'm looking for a home where i can balance private recharging time with some relaxed communal time...maybe a glass of red or a beer? Do you fancy a quiet drink or a laugh? Happy to consider options anywhere within half hour of the CBD. I greatly appreciate your offers - thank you!
I'm a laid back but tidy gal who enjoys painting, knitting and a glass of wine and a chat from time to time. I'm vegan, LGBTQI+ friendly and supportive, typically fairly quiet and always conscientious of others. I enjoy gardening and I love to cook, so I will on occasion cook big communal meals! I am originally from California, moved out to Melbourne for love and stayed for the awesome people and beautiful city. I work in Preston where I manage an online store and I have two fluffy, very well behaved kitties who would be coming with me-they are very calm and spend most of the day sleeping or searching for a ray of sunlight to lay in. 🌞
Working full-time at Collingwood atm. Going to be RMIT nursing student in July 2017. I am a clean, cheerful, considerate, respectful person who cares about the privacy of others. I have been living by myself for 7 years, so I am independent and is a type that will "clean my own mess". I love dogs! I like cooking, swimming and watching movies. I am not a party animal, but a drink or chat is great. I am looking for a place where has air-con(must!), windows(must!), near tram/train station, tidy, clean, and comfortable to live. I don't mind doing housework on a schedule/roster basis.
Hi I am an overseas student from Bangladesh studying in La Trobe University. I am an easy going person and not a party freak. Like to keep everything organised. During my leisure time I like watching movies. Thanks
Hey! I am looking for a place to stay with like-minded people. I come from the Netherlands and am now in Melbourne for a research project at RMIT and to travel around. I like to have a flexible lifestyle which is equally divided in serious stuff and fun. I am a full-time combined freelancer and student, but make plenty of time available to socialize. I am spontaneous and like to make plans on a day-by-day basis. I love to meet and hangout with people but equivalently enjoy moments of silence. I live a healthy life and like to work out regularly. As a housemate I can be clean, tidy, hygienic and organized. More important to note is that I adapt easily to others. I am independent and emotionally stable. I am upbeat, open-minded, a good conversationalist and I don't judge. I take pleasure in social drinks, going for a walk, relaxing in the park, parties, watching movies, reading books and listening to music. I don't mind cooking and sharing meals with others or doing chores. I respect rules and boundaries set by others. Looking forward to hear from you!
Hi guys, looking for a place to settle down in Melbourne. I am a student at La Trobe University willing to stay closer to the city. Clean, neat, and friendly. Would work on my bills aptly. Enjoy socializing as well.
Greetings! I am a student that has been living here for the past 3.5 years, and just got back from my holidays in my hometown in Saudi Arabia and backpacking trip in the Philippines. A little bit about myself: I am a 24 years old guy studying Bachelor of Chemistry in La Trobe University, introvert, easy going, relaxed and laid back, open minded and non judgmental. My enjoyments include going on adventures and camping, the beach and diving, reading, music and live gigs and going to art galleries once in a while. I am a coffee enthusiast, and I like to indulge in wine or beers on the weekend. Housemates genders and sexual orientation don't matter, wouldn't mind keeping the place's tidiness and neatness if it's of your place's conditions, and would not mind sharing a meal or a drink and the table chatter, I am also respectful of privacy and need for quiet times. I prefer a place with pets or a one that accepts pets as I am planning to adopt a pup in the future, but it's not a priority for the meantime. So people who won't allow pets can apply as well. I am seeking a place preferably with a furnished room or semi-furnished anywhere around the 86th Bundoora tram line, and would be glad to have a chat with you if you needed to know more about me. Cheers :)
Hey everyone :) I am 28 years old and I have been vegan for 7 years. I prefer to live in a vegan house. I am looking for a room to rent that is less than $160 per week rent. I am a clean, tidy, easy going and respectful person, I don't drink or smoke and I always pay my rent on time. I don't mind which area as long as it's not too far out and is fairly close to public transport. I'm fairly new to Melbourne and I'm not very familiar with all the suburbs but I plan to stay here for at least a year. Please send me a message if you can help :)
