Hi guys! I’m a 21 year old nanny from United States as well as a Psychology student at the UON. My partner, Harley, is a 25 year old Diesel Fitter, originally from Western Sydney, who enjoys motorbikes and a good laugh. We recently returned from a lengthy visit to the States are are looking for a space to move into that is shared with other laid-back and friendly individuals, who are both respectful towards each other and respectful towards the space. We both remain pretty busy between work and school but are hoping to be able to come home to a positive, warm and fun environment in the end of the day. We are both responsible and respectful and take pride in both the place we live and the condition we keep it in.
Moving to Newcastle to study, I am a 24 year old straight male who is coming from Sydney. I have lived out of home for four years and have experience living in sharehouses. I'm not looking for a party household but would definitely love a social and active household. I am happy living with just about any housemates, regardless of gender or sexuality. I also get along great with pets. As long as everyone is chill and gets along, I think I'd be a great addition.
I am a 22-year-old uni student, looking to team up with a couple of people or find a room in a house in Newcastle. I have just finished my first year of Bachelor of Visual Communication Design and also work casually as a disability support worker. I only work day shifts so am usually at home of a night. I enjoy socialising with other housemates but also like time to myself. On weekends I like to go to the beach, catch up with friends, go for day trips to new places and occasionally have a few mates over for drinks and a platter before going out. I do have a 1-year-old kitten Nala, she is timid at first but once she gets to know you she is super loving, friendly and playful. I am currently keeping her as an indoor cat but at the right property, I would like to let her be able to go outside if she wants. She is house trained so won't claw at furniture and uses a litter tray. I have lived out of home for 2 years, however, wasn't officially on a lease so don't have a rental record. I am a very tidy person who will sometimes be up for a chat, dinner together and some drinks but also love time to myself and respect that of others. If you're interested then I'd love to meet up for a chat and a coffee!
My name is Dinuk, I am 22 years old and I am from Melbourne, where I've lived my whole life up until now. I am to start my course in physiotherapy at the University of Newcastle as of February 26th. I am someone who is friendly and sociable but also someone who respects personal space and boundaries. I have previously lived in a shared accommodation in Melbourne so i know what it's like living with others in regards to hygiene and cleanliness. I can also be quiet diligent with studying so you may see notice that I might study till late. I very much love to cook, and would be happy to have cook ups or just spend time with others. I also like watching tv shows, reading, and going for walks and spending time with friends. I am also easy going and very approachable. I hope you may take this all into consideration, thanks.
Hey! We are both currently studying to become teachers and both work part time/casual. We are into anything outdoors, beach, walks/adventures but are also happy to lounge around the house on the odd lazy/rainy day and play some board games or settle in for some A+ Netflix show with some drinks and snacks. Neat and tidy and respect others privacy as we do enjoy ours. We are keen to find someone/a couple to find a space with so send me a message if this sounds like it suits what you are after :).
Bubbly, Explorer, Honest (written by my friends). Short info: Sensible and considerate. Believer of healthy, non-passive aggressive communication. *Laying it out early to facilitate mutual understanding 🙈: I dislike cluttered/dirty shared environment with items often misplaced (e.g., kitchen, living area). I’m sure we all want to live in a liveable home with considerate members. I don’t mind performing occasional acts of service, but unless the relationship greatly makes up for that, I’d honestly be disappointed and upset if I have to repeatedly clean up after someone. Detailed info: I'm a smiley introvert—albeit an energetic one—who grew up in a small island (country) called Singapore. I'm pretty 'flexible' in the sense where I have a huge range of interests. I love cozying up on the couch or a café with a good book; I'm really outdoorsy at the same time— I love taking walks and I do boxing. I spread my time between outdoor activities, fitness, culinary and my bachelor degree (psych; UoN, honours year). I have high empathy level (ps. I know how to read the atmosphere ;)), and I'm absolutely passionate about spreading love, smiles and joy. I love being the tiny ball of concentrated sunshine amongst my friends even though I'm an introvert and that means my battery does go flat sometimes. But it fills up my heart knowing that I've made someone feel more pleasant— even if it's just for a second! It's all worth it. You may have realized by now after reading all that I've typed that I'm an open book 😊 Hit me up if you think that you’d be happy (not just ‘okay’) living with me!
Hi I’m Lisha & I’m moving to Newcastle from my hometown Dubbo to start university. I am a very tidy person so I always clean up after myself because I hate a mess. I love to have fun & socialise but also like quiet time to myself so would love for my future roomie to be the same. :)
Hey, Jim here. Like to think I'm easy going and tolerant (maybe too cruisy at times!), friendly, sociable, equally like chilling out after work as having a drink or nice meal to wind down, super clean and tidy to the occasional annoyance of my all male office colleagues (i know, workplaces like that are still around), love cooking but a terrible baker as not really into following recipes .Will absolutely respect your privacy and space. Love time outdoors riding, running, swimming, just hanging out. Getting into yoga so hope there's space to roll my mat out every now and then! I've been in Newie about 15 years, work full time and longish hours so pretty much gone between 6am and 6pm.
So unfortunately my landlord has decided to sell (living on Darby street and love it). So a little about myself. I'm accountant working full time for a firm in the CBD. Will be finishing my CA this year (two semesters). Before this I spent the last two years travelling Europe. And will be off again this year for four weeks to the Russia World Cup. If you enjoy travelling and/or the NRL we will most likely get along. Into my league and having a beer come Friday. Definitely not after a party house, but enjoy hanging out with the people I live with. I also have a bit of furniture from prior to going overseas - BBQ, TV, TV cabinet, lounges, outdoor setting, table and chairs, fridge, washing machine, mower, Xbox, Nintendo 64 etc. I also have a small dog currently with the parents, that I would ideally like to bring with me if it works out. Hope to hear from you soon!!
I'm a fun, chilled out gal who is going to be studying at the University of Newcastle next year. I'm looking for an all-female flat. I love cooking (every cuisine) and reading and dancing and I'm very happy, bubbly and reliable! Contact me if you think I'm the perfect fit for your home.
Easy going and get along with almost anyone. Tidy, full time working ( 6 days a week ) , fantastic Cook, like socialising and also like my own space, I have been in any share house arrangment imaginable over the years but have not shared a house for 8 years so am jumping back into the fun.
G'day guys. Im turning 20 and looking to move down to Newcastle from Taree to start studying at university while also working part time. I currently live with my father who is a chef so he's not very often in the house leaving me to fend for myself. This has left me a very easy person to live with as I'm clean, enjoy my time to myself but also love being sociable with my housemates. I regularly housesit with my best friend so I've gotten the gist of living out of home and what it includes AKA doing your own washing, cleaning etc. I would love a housemate/housemates that enjoy personal space but also love to socialise with the house and enjoy a laugh or a movie. My life has had a strong part in sport as well so i could be travelling home to play so I could be away some weekends not only to play sport but to visit my family.
Hi. My name is Rabia and I'm an International Student at the UoN. I'm arriving on the 28th of January to Newcastle with my daughter who is 8. I have never been to Australia and all my friends are in Sydney and Melbourne. My daughter and I are not noisy at all and I like to believe that I'm responsible. I work as a school Principal in Islamabad(Pakistan) and teach at the best university in Pakistan. I can send you more about my profile and references if required. I want my daughter to attend a good Public School in close proximity and not too far away from the University. Until we find our own place if required, I'll be humbled if you could let you share your space. Teach at NUST, Pakistan. P.s My daughter is very well-mannered and delightful.
My name is Brendan I'm 24. I'm studying Medical Diagnostic Radiography. I'm a chilled guy, I like to be clean and organised. Love a good surf. Not keen on a party house, I'm over the getting drunk every weekend thing, all though I do enjoy going out and having a drink, being social and having good people around! Just looking for a nice place with with good people.
hello! this is Mona! I like to meet new people and make new friend! I'm friendly and kind, always excited and positive! Also, I do care about cleaning! I'm looking for a looking for friendly housemate as a friend and team and clean house as place to relax and rest.
We have currently been together for almost 2 years and been living together for about 6 months. Kyle is a kitchen staff at Hogs breathe cafe and loves to cook. Emma is a 2nd year apprentice hairdresser but taking a break and working for Guzman Y Gomez. We have 2 very cuddly rabbits that we love very much. We love socialising and would love to live in a house with people with similar personalities and get along well with.
I'm from Canberra, coming to Newcastle for University. This is my first time living out of home but I'm very independent and able to cook, clean, manage finances easily etc. I'm very easy going and love to have a good laugh. I'll be studying electrical engineering, so will often be cramming or on campus. I'll be working part-time also. Would like the option of having my cat with me but my family are also happy to take her. Feel free to contact me if you think I'd be suited.
Hi I’m Zaelee, I’m hoping to find a place with a social vibe, not a full on party house although it wouldn’t hurt occasionally. I’ve been living out of home for a few years now and would like to think that I’m a rather tidy, respectful, super friendly and easy going housemate. I try to avoid being home as much as I can, I love to be out and about and find myself happiest living a busy lifestyle but I won’t turn down a quiet wine or two with some friends at home!
I'm a Friendly, easy going person who enjoys the outdoors. I'm moving to Newcastle from Perth for full-time work and to also explore what NSW has to offer. I get along with people from all backgrounds and I would like to find a place with flatmates who are keen to explore the city as much as I am.
Hello! I'm a 25 year old female PhD student at the University of Newcastle, working at HMRI/John Hunter Hospital. I'm a hardcore science nerd who is also a huge fan of baking. I'm currently living at home and looking to move out. Ideally, it would be in a house of people with whom i could be friends. I will be in Newcastle for the foreseeable future so longer term stays would be preferable. I have a scholarship until march 2019 so reasonable rent isn't an issue. I'm looking to spend $250 (including bills and internet) maximum and preferably with a private bathroom but not a necessity. I have a car so somewhere to park would also be lovely. I'm not a party person, a chill night with wine and netflix suits me fine and I'm happy to keep to myself. If I sound like someone you might want to rent a room to (or you have a property in which I could live), please message me!
