Hello, my name is Kirra, I am 20 years old and I have just moved down to Newcastle from Townsville, NQ. I have lived on my own for 2 years now and I am very clean, look after myself, I like to stay very active and I am very easy going and social. I have a beautiful little cat named Bailey, she is very well behaved, makes little to no mess (only her hair) and is very good with other animals, especially dogs.
I'm clean, tidy, active, healthy, quiet, great cook, good sense of humour, intelligent, animal and nature lover, avid reader, adventurous, independent, trustworthy, honest. My home environment is very important to me - peaceful, harmonious. Not looking for entertainment. I can make my own. I have been a soul-parent for 25 years and am now taking a new direction on my life's journey. I have a small dog - clean, well behaved, house trained, intelligent, good fun and great company! I love gardening, the great outdoors, walking, exploring new places, intelligent company, great conversation and the occasional glass of a good red!
We are an Italian couple, i’m 21 and he is 24. We both have a job around here. I usually work as a waitress and he is a chef. We usually are never at home, just during the night, we are very quiet easy-going and very friendly.
I’m from Port Macquarie and have just got full time contract in Nelson Bay. Would only be there 3 to 4 nights a week. I’m a easy going person. I will be working big hours so you won’t be seeing me much.
Happy to help out with anything around the home quite keep to myself keep my room clean and tidy and I get along with anyone and not much of a cook lol but can clean to help out and for fun fishing, 4wding camping ps4 watching movies, walking
I’m a grown up female woman. I will more than happily clean, I cook and I like to keep a safe, harmonious and quiet during the week environment to co- exsist in. I work weekends but I totally understand everyone has to have fun! I am an English and writing Major at uni and I ride a bike so I don’t need a parking space. I work in town so ideally would like somewhere close to that if I can.
I’m fun, social, don’t like conflict, can cook amazing food :)), love in nights with movies and snacks, will talk your ear off about conspiracy theories (to an extent) ;)), if you have animals I will most likely become emotionally attached to them (sorry in advance) ;)), tidy and very organised, and an all round good person :)).
Hi, I'm Lily. I am currently studying Visual Arts at Hunter Street tafe, Newcastle. When I'm not studying, I am working part-time for a small business in Maitland. Although I am only 18, I work hard at all that I do. Therefore my bills will always be paid on time. I always enjoy hanging out with friends, making art and wholefoods cooking (I'll always clean up after myself). I'm a very independent but communal living person. I am tidy and friendly and I will respect your space. I would love to find a place to live in Newcastle East or around that area, where I can be close to friends, the beach and, Tafe!
Hi Future Flatmates!, I’m moving to Newcastle to finish off my medical degree at the John Hunter Hospital. If all goes to plan I should graduate at the end of 2019, so I’m looking for a place I could possibly stay for the next 18 months, or at least until the end of this year. I am on exchange in Bergen, Norway at the moment, which has been amazing!, but also means that I won't be free to meet-up in person until the 19th June, however I am able to skype and meet-up beforehand as well. For some more information about me: I’ve spent the first three years of my degree studying up in Armidale, NSW and so I’m really looking forward to living near the beach soon! Apart from that I love being outdoors, staying active and trying to new places to eat (I’m a vegetarian). I’m also easy going; and a very clean and tidy flatmate. This will be my first time living in Newcastle, so I am definitely not just looking for a room to live in I hoping to make friends. It would be great if you could show me around to all of the best places in Newy. If you have any more questions just let me know. Looking forward to your response!
I'm an archaeologist and I play ultimate frisbee which I'm sure are probably two things you don't come across very often. I'm a pretty laid back guy, like to listen to music, relax and watch TV, head to the gym and maybe with my move to Newcastle get to the beach a bit more. I've got a fair amount of bedroom furnishings, and a good TV setup (including sound system and Xbox). I'm moving from Sydney to Newcastle in the coming months for a new job opportunity, and am looking for a place. I've lived in my current house in Surry Hills for two years. I'm fairly flexible on when I move, somewhere in August/September is probably the best time! I'm mostly looking in the Newcastle CBD area at this stage. I'd like to find somewhere I can stay for at least 6 months to start off, with my preference being around a bit longer.
I’m 21 and am looking to move back to Newcastle from Sydney to finish a degree that I started a couple of years ago. I’m open minded, easy going, friendly, tidy and love to meet new people. I’m looking for someone similar, ultimately I’d love to be friends with who I live with (love relaxing in the evenings over a wine/beer), but also love my own time so would respect that in others too. I love Newcastle and am looking for a place that’s as central as possible (close to beach, good fruit and veg shops, cafes and local markets). I love having my friends around (I don’t do it all the time, only every now and then) so would like to live with housemate(s) who are cool with this. I work as a home nurse and will also be going to Uni. I have a collection of plants, love music, design and vintage. I also have a kitten called zephie (who loves people, is really well behaved and not high maintenance at all). I really love my home to have an open feel to it, meaning friends welcome to come around whenever. I’m looking for a housemate, or housemates, who are friendly, laidback, open minded and like to keep the house looking nice. I’m also looking for a place for at least 6 months - Ill be studying in Newcastle for another 2 Years so the longer the better. I’m available to move between the end of June and the end of July.
hi there, female, 24 years old from Perú, architect, International Postgraduate Student, I like being tidy and clean as well as I consider myself easy going and friendly, happy to meet new people, but also respectful of personal space. I like going out but also I enjoy quite gatherings like going for a hike or going to the beach, and always in the mood for small talk, coffee or wine. enjoy cooking and eating healthy, new in the city.
My name is Mitch, I am 25 and keen to move into the city as I am always at the beach and love newcastle in general. I am a casual bartender although I have plenty of hours and can work pretty late some nights. I am an outdoor person love the sun and ocean always looking for something new to do or another adventure. I love going on snow trips, skating, swimming, walks and coffee or anything else under the sun and sky. I'm not much of a partier but love a cold beer or several or a nice red. I am sometimes quiet and need some downtime to reflect and recentre but generally friendly and happy, keen to hang out and socialise. I would love to get to know you a bit more and/or if you're interested and want to know a bit more about me just ask :) Cheers Mitch I am looking for a nice place close to everything with like minded housemates that are keen to hang out
Easy-going and friendly, down for nights in and nights out Terrifyingly clean and make a mean mango cheesecake 4th year med student with pretty heavy hours, and making pretty regular trips home to Sydney Just back from 6 months living in Oslo, and moving out of town at the end of the year
I am clean, friendly and easy going. I love getting out and doing things with friends and spending time outside exercising. I work as a teacher so I'm not home much during the week. I enjoy spending time with those I live with having a wine or grabbing dinner regularly. I am currently living in Wickham and would like to move somewhere near by or close to Newcastle.
Hey I'm Mil, I'm 22 and I'm looking to move closer to town. I'm a student down at JMC Academy in Ultimo, I commute down two days a week and am working in both retail and hospitality around my studies. Because of the nature of my degree I don't mind a quiet one in with a bottle of Pinot noir but i'll never turn down a big night at the cambo. I'm in possession of a premium netflix account that you're more than welcome to share. ps. (I come with a thermomix and a real good scones recipe)
We're 3 medical students from Oslo, Norway who are here on exchange for a semester at UoN! We're clean and tidy, social, and hope to make some friends during our stay. We have a packed schedule at John Hunter Hospital during the day and will be traveling many weekends. In our free time we like to play soccer, exercise, bake cookies, and hang with friends. We hope to hear from you soon! :-)
Hello! I’m british, Laid back, and like living in tidy places!! I love being outdoors, heading to the gym, a bit of yoga and baking. Currently in Tasmania, but coming back in August. I’d love a sociable house. I already have plenty of friends in Newy and know my way around, as I have been living in Hamilton for nearly a year, always keen to meet new people and try new things!
Hola, I'm Brielle I have just recently obtained work in Newcastle and I’m moving in the next few weeks. I am currently looking for a place to call home, an existing room to rent or teaming up with someone. I have my own furniture and internet. I'm a super friendly working professional in my 20's (wise beyond my years) my working background is in social welfare - child protection. I'm super respectful of people's privacy as I love my own alone time but am also quite the social butterfly so I would love a roomie who's up for the occasional drink, cheese platter and banter. In my spare time I love spending it in the surf, going for ocean swims, yoga and meditations, having a drink, catching up with fam and friends, watering my plants.. napping... I'm super tidy and respectful and I love being able to come home to HAPPY, clean and calm environment.
Hey friends! I'm a full time student at UON and i work part-time in retail. Long term rental preferred. (At least 6months) not a big party person, being 30(ish) I’m more into red wine and cheese platters than beer bongs, but do enjoy a good bevvy filled banter in the yard over a cob loaf and a cheeky night out once in a while. I don’t know that many people up here yet (moved up here from the central coast) so would love to find some friendly interactive housemates that share dinners and drinks from time to time and don’t just pass each other in the hallways. red wine is the nectar of the gods and cheese platters complete with crackers, dips and cured meat selections are the dinners of champions. chocolate is a constant. disney isn't just for kids. i have a very clean indoor/outdoor cat. gypsy, she's a beautiful ginger kitty, kinda hates everything, moreso than the usual cattitude (not mad just very very shy). so won't be all up in your business. If i can give her access outside via a window in my room she's likely to not ever venture into other parts of the house (Because noises are scary). not a clean freak so I’m not going to lose the plot if you leave a dish out for a day but if things start growing in the sink and fridge that's not cool.
I grew up in Nelson Bay and currently live in the Newcastle area. I'm looking to move as my current place is being sold. I work 2 jobs as well as studying so I am a very busy person during the week. On weekends I spend my time either eating pizza and watching Netflix, going for a run or catching up with friends. I am very social, enjoy a drink every blue moon, love a chat and to get to know the people I live with. I have had my fair share of flatmates and share houses. I believe they run nice and smoothly when everyone is respectful of other peoples space, possessions and when all the roomies makes the effort to clean up after them selves.
