Hi! I'm Miri, I'm 21 and currently working full time in the city. I'm a regular gig goer, taking my camera along taking snaps and vids, op-shopping and market hunting for vintage gems and some good ol' chats over a glass of red! Going for skates around the city with my trusty ol' pentax film camera is also another thing I love! :) Looking for a house that is social, happy and easy going environment! Thanks :)
I'm a kiwi graphic designer who have relocated to Melbourne after London last month am actively looking for a place that feels like home. I am easy going, clean, social, and looking for like-minded people. I like to travel, bit off boxing and few beers here and there.
Looking for: private room not too far away from the CBD, no pets as I'm allergic I am: Swedish, down to earth, full-time student For those who are more curious: Hey potential future flatmate(s)! I’m a 20 year old Swede looking to rent a room from mid January to August or September. I’m a full-time student at Billy Blue College of Design and I’m most likely going to start looking for a part-time job in January. I’m currently renting a room in a flatshare in South Melbourne. Been living here since August this year. I’m moving out and going back to Sweden early December for a wedding. Not completely sure yet when I’m traveling back to Melbourne but it should be around mid January. Looking for a private room not too far away from the CBD. I need good tram/train/bus connections if it’s in a suburb further away. I prefer a furnished room as I don't really own anything except for an $9 work lamp from IKEA. As I mentioned before I'm allergic to pets so can't be around them at all... I’m very easy going and down to earth. I like to go out partying every other weekend or so depending on how much schoolwork I have to do but I'll definitely not bring the party home it's not appropriate. I enjoy hanging out with friends, going to the night market or to the cinema. I’d love to get to know my flatmates and hang out but at the same time it’s really important for me to get my peace and quiet to study as I take my studies very seriously (too expensive for Swedes to not be serious about it haha). I think it’s important to keep the common areas clean and tidy but I’m not too fussy about leaving dishes in the sink or stuff like that. I can be a bit messy when doing a crafty project for uni, but I’ll keep it in my room or tidy up after me. Hope to hear from you if you have something for me!
I spend part of my week in Carlton North in a creative studio working with like minded designers and creatives, with a strong focus on sustainable design. I spend the other part of my week at RMIT finishing my third and last degree. I love yoga, I'm vegetarian 90% of the time (other people eating meat or fish doesn't bother me) and try and get to the Dandeonongs or Peninsula if I ever have a day to spare (which is not often enough). I'm tidy, easy-going and stay quite busy during the week. I like being in beautiful yet simple spaces (a product of studying design). I try and eat pretty healthy but can't go without the occasional dark chocolate treat. I'm looking to live with people who want to create a home, happy to have a chat over a meal or drink but also happy to do their own thing.
I'm Heidi, 22 yrs old looking for a friendly place to live in a suburb not too far from the cbd, I'm a busy person with a healthy social life, I am clean and neat and considerate as a house mate. :) Please contact me anytime
I am turning 25 in Nov, a musician working in a full-time professional IT job. In terms of lifestyle, I am hygienic, a minimalist and clean after myself. I am looking for a social house to call home, but understand everyone needs some down time.
My names Amy, I'm 24 and from Ireland. I've been living in Australia for 9 months now and have fallen in love with Melbourne. I am a very outgoing person who loves going out for drinks on the weekends and socialising with friends, going for brunch and checking out the latest event on around the city. I also love a good movie night in with junk food and a glass of wine and am looking to share with someone who is not just my roomate but I can also be friends with and hang out with from time to time. Ideally I'm looking for an apartment in the South Yarra/Prahran/Windsor area.
Hello there, I am a full time work-aholic as a Project Manager in Construction. Currently working in insurance construction for the past two years! Been in Melbourne last two years (originally from Sydney/Canberra) living mainly near the SE Suburbs (Malvern East & Chadstone). Looking relocate somewhere in the near vicinity of work in Oakleigh South. Fairly quiet during the week and generally head out on the weekends to catch a gig/show or venture around! Love weekend trips away visiting the family! I'm easy going, big heart, honest, clean and great with bills! I love music and the arts, that is my passion! I'm 34 years young, play guitar and program songs. I also enjoy sculpting, painting and I adore all animals. Hoping to find a place with happy fun vibes with those of a similar lifestyle preference!
Hi, my name's Hilda. Newbie to Melbourne as of a year ago.. I work in communications for Alfred Health but am a growing yogi. I've started studies just recently so I spend some time at my yoga studio as well as studying at home. Weekends, I'm pretty social - I love coffee & cake dates the most (not a wine type of gal but it's ok once in a while :)). Love travel, art, foreign films, philosophy, friends.. cooking! Even though they are super cute, I can't live with pets as I am allergic... I'm searching for a room in a welcoming house, preferably with one female roommate.. Thanks, looking forward to connecting :)!
Hi there, I am a fun, easy going, clean and tidy, laid back individual who works full time in Real Estate. I am looking for a room or to start a group of 2 or 3 people to move into a new place. I am looking to move in with like minded, mature individuals/professionals. I don't have any pets, I occasionally smoke and love a great wine and a bit of banter. I am very busy during the week with work and gym/excersize and like to get outdoors on the weekends. I am a private and honest person who also respects other peoples privacy and values.
Hi I'm Chris! I am 27, working full-time for a government department in the area of law and economics in the Melbourne CBD. I am easy going, social, clean and reliable with paying rent and bills. I'm hoping to find friendly and easy going housemates that like to have a chat while grabbing a coffee or having a meal/drink at times. It would be great to find a place that is more like a home than just a place to stay. I enjoy brunch, yoga, AFL, going for runs, cafes/restaurants, movies and going to events/shows/exhibitions. I am starting to learn Spanish and having a go at salsa. After work and on the weekends, I like to catch up with friends and keep busy, but at times relax at home.
Hi I'm Jacinda, 24 year old female. I work as an Occupational Therapist and study part time. I'm New to Melbourne. I have lived in share houses for six years so I know the drill- clean, tidy, respect your things and personal space when needed and I hope for the same in return. Also keen to have chats and share a wine or two. Please message me if you think I can be an addition to your household.
Hey all, I'm to start a new house share from Thornbury to Brunswick, Elwood to Caulfield and in any inner North, East or Southern Suburbs. My budget is $185/week, ready to move now. I'm 31, originally from QLD and have been living in Melbourne for about 3.5 years. I work 5 days/week in hospitality, until I go back to uni full time (+ work part time) for a year to finish my psych degree. When I finish I'm aiming to get a job in a humanistic position. On my days off I generally like to get outdoors if the weather is good and am looking forward to getting some beach days in this summer, (if/when it actually arrives in Melbs). I'd like to say I sleep in but my body clock often doesn't allow it. It only lets me feel like I could sleep in on the days I have to work. Most of my social outings revolve around visiting friends or heading out to gigs, or maybe a sneaky festival once or twice a year. I enjoy food and drink and chats with my housemates, but equally enjoy my down time and respect others' need for the same. I'm clean and tidy, especially when it comes to communal spaces. Eat mostly vegetarian, but not wigged out by food of any kind. I’m good for paying rent/bills on time, am not touchy about discussing stuff house-related, much prefer openness and communication. Am well-trained in house-sharing, and don’t possess any sexist, racist, LGBTI-phobic views/sentiments. 420-friendly. Come with a bunch of plants and make kombucha regularly. Do have some furniture to bring, kitchen stuff, no whitegoods though. Feel free to fire any questions my way 🙂 I'm ready to move asap!
I'm 28. Nurse. Shift work. Clean. Tidy. Friendly. Likes to have a beer or 2 but also a nice quiet nights in. When I'm not working weekends I enjoy getting out and about. I like to think I'm an active sort but I think I'm just comfortable in the clothing!
Hello! Looking for somewhere to live in the inner suburbs with great people! I work in Banking 9-5. Usually out and about running, bike rides, hiking, bit of gym as well as nights out/gigs on my time off. Clean, considerate, not a great cook but don't burn toast... Flexible on move date. Keen to find the right place as soon as possible.
Hey there, My name’s Anthony (or as my friends and colleagues have adopted me, "Tony"). I'm a 26 year old Software Engineer and I’ve been living by myself for the last six months but I’m kinda looking to get back into a somewhat social sharehouse that does things (but isn’t too extreme) In my spare time I usually drink coffee/beer and go to gigs, although I’ve just bought a dremel and am wanting to try to get into DIY stuff and probably a bit more into music (i’m a terrible musician). I also try and listen to podcasts and read a bit and just got back from a month in Europe/Russia/Mongolia/China. And I can cook reasonably well too. As an added bonus, I have a half-decent record collection/player and a whole heap of stuff/furnished apartment. I’m planning on culling/selling a fair bit of it but am open to bringing some stuff if necessary.
Hi, we are a couple of young people and, because of work, we just recently started looking to move from Brisbane to Melbourne end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing for Telstra. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshares or flatshares and like socialising. Comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quite atmosphere.

Polite, considerate, clean, respectful 27yo, roadtrippin in my fully sick Kia Rio, from Perth during Feburary 2017. I've rented for a long time so I know the drill. I'm an ex-smoker so I'd prefer housemates who don't. Housemates with exemplary personal hygeine is paramount. Fixed gear rider, skateboarder, guitar player, photographer. Looking for a home not just a room, with about 3-4 people, guys and girls. Pets are a bonus.
My name is Jaiden - (I'm female, I know, what were my parents thinking?) . I'm a full time uni student, part time disappointment to my family and friends. I study Screenwriting at RMIT and work an assortment of jobs. I'm a comedian, movie/TV show lover and a pretty decent cook. Happy to join you for a glass of wine and a discussion about anything NOT related to reality TV (I can barely keep up with my own life let alone the Kardashians). Need to find somewhere ASAP so like my future girlfriend, I'm ready to lower my standards.
Hi, My name is AWS, I am 23 years old, I am currently looking for a place to live with my brother who is 25 years old, we are both engineers. We are currently working part time. We are very clean and tidy, and we always like to keep the place we live in the same way. We don't have any pets, and we are not smokers. Thank you.
So I have recently moved here from Margaret River WA for work! I own my own property in Margaret River which I am renting out. Before moving here I use to rent out rooms in the house so I'm use to living with lots of different people, also well house trained and will treat your place as my own and keep it clean. "Mi Casa Su Casa" I'm easy to get on with and love the outdoors, I surf as much as possible which is a lot less now I'm living in Melbourne. I enjoy making new friends and spending time getting to know people, always up for going out exploring, hanging at home and having a bbq or going and grabbing a beer. At the same time I'm great at spending time on my own and doing my own thing. I'm looking for a place I can call home and enjoy coming back to.
I'm huge on football, music, movies and I'm a clean guy :). I don't like to have a messy room, so that's pretty important and am keen to hang about with mates for a beer or 5 . I am a pretty laid‐back person and easy to get along with! I usually need a pretty quiet place to study as i am studying my Master in Finance, so I'll usually head to a library. I'm open to trying new things!
Hi all! I'm Kate, I'm 27 and work in marketing. I'm really a easy-going person, love to socialise but don't mind nights in with Netflix and pizza either. I'm a single girl amongst a lot of couples and parents-to-be, so I'm looking to meet some new people who can enjoy a drink and hang out, but can do their own thing too. I love to travel and go on adventures, go out with friends, watch movies and am attempting to learn Spanish in my spare time. I'm flexible with moving dates, just looking for the right people/accommodation :)
My current housemate and I are looking for a third person to start a share house with us. We are both: mature, out going, friendly, clean and respectable girls. We both work full time, enjoy movie weekends, drinks on chapel, adventures, road trips and making new friends/memories. We are looking for someone who shares the same interests and will want to make the house a home. Send me a message if you think you would suit us :)
Hi, I am Freshta and I am from Amsterdam. I study medicine and from October I have an internship at the psychiatry department of The Alfred Hospital. During the week I will be busy with my internship, but in my spare time I would love to explore Melbourne and even more of Australia. I am a easygoing person and I would like to meet new people and go to concerts, festivals etc. However, I also like to netflix and relax at home. Kind regards, Freshta
Hey! I'm a fairly social 20 something year old female looking to move out of home. After on and off travelling for the past few years I've finally found a "forever" job so now it's time to put my big girl pants on and move out of my childhood home! I work in Hampton and love being somewhat close to the beach so desperately want to stay in the South East side of Melbourne. I'd like to think of myself as independent, fun, social, adventurous, tolerant, respectful, open minded and drama free. I play tennis, enjoy travelling and meeting people from all around the world and also loooove being in the kitchen and forcing delicious baked goods on my family and friends :) Am needing a pet friendly place as I do come in a package with my 2 beautiful cats, Bill and Ted (baby Ted is with me in my pic). They are generally well behaved, sleep with me at night and go out during the day so you can have as much or as little interaction with them as you are comfortable with. Looking forward to hearing from you if you think we'd make a good fit in your household xx
Hi! I'm Anja, I'm 23 and I'm from Germany. I'll be staying in Melbourne for 6 months, working full-time as a marketing assistant for BSH Home appliances. I love working out (gym + yoga + just started surfing) and I definitely am a foodie. Can't wait to explore all the restaurants and bars in Melbourne. I'm easy going, clean, tidy and looking to live with people who enjoy socialising at the weekends and people I can be friendly with, not just somewhere to sleep!
Hi there! Born in Australia with an Armenian background, easy going, normal guy. Weekdays are 9-5 job, like to get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. Hey guys, I'm Sam, 22, I moved to Australia from England when I was little, I'm English by blood and Australian by heart. I'm a hard worker with my eyes set on the future, I've previously studied at university in Melbourne and currently I'm working part time, with around 4-5 shifts a week which keeps me busy. When I'm not working I love playing my guitar, exploring places I've never been and keeping my mind and my body healthy. I'm a caring person with a big heart who loves putting a smile on people's faces, I'm respectful of others feelings and needs and keep myself and surroundings tidy.

Hi, I am new to Melbourne (moving from Wellington). I am moving to Melbourne for work. I work in IT (8AM-5PM) full time. Outside of work, i like to exercise, cook, travel and read. I am looking for a place to live potentially for 6 months or more depending on how we get along. I am a very tidy and organised person.
I'm a chef! So I can cook food for you! I work very long hours Tuesday till Saturday so hardly home and when I am home, I change between wanting to just stay home watching movies or cooking food. Or sometimes I like to go out with friends. I'm very neat and tidy and look after my things as I would yours. I don't have furniture for a room but the room doesn't need to be furnished I am happy to get somethings. I do have a car, that I don't mind putting on the road with a permanent or if there is a car space even better! I work in south Melbourne and I ride my push bike to and from work. Thanks I look forward to hearing from you and see some photos of your house! :)
I work full time in the events industry which I absolutely love and is what I studied. I've lived out of home since I was 20 and know what's expected from me while living in share houses and having respect for other people and their things. I'm fun and love a good chat, I like going for walks, cooking and yoga. And looking for a share house to live to not party.
Hey! I'm a full-time commerce student at the University of Melbourne, graduating next year. I work part-time to support myself, and my hobbies include cooking, exercise, exploring the outdoors and photography. I love keeping busy and getting out and about! I'm friendly and sociable, love a chat after work/uni and dinner & drinks over the weekend. I do also appreciate time to myself and am very respectful of others' space. As a housemate, I'm trustworthy, reliable, considerate, and very tidy. Finally, I have a 1 y.o. ragdoll cat - she's 100% housetrained & indoors, and she is such a little charmer! :) She has co-existed with a (big) dog in the past with no issues. Looking for a longer-term stay only (6+ months) and am flexible as to when I move - but early January at latest! Reach out if you're interested in catching up and chatting more. Cheers! :)
I moved from California to Melbourne 2 months ago on a work visa and am now looking for permanent housing after staying with a friend for a bit. I'm a positive and energetic person. As a flatmate, I appreciate being tidy & respectful around the house and a "team player" who is willing to help out to be a good sport (go grocery shopping, walking the dog, carrying heavy stuff, telling jokes, washing the dishes, etc.). I'm a young professional-- working Mon-Fri in the CBD from 8am - 6pm. On weeknights, I like to head out for a bite to eat, grab a beer, have some wine, and be active and keep fit after work. Weekend activities typically include: Going for a run, playing basketball and tennis, going to the beach, traveling around Aus, chilling in the park, watching sports, heading on random adventures, and being social. I'm not looking to tuck in too early on weekend nights either. I'm looking to have like-minded, social, young professionals who are chill to live with and have all-around good vibes. Feel free to drop me a message on the site here or send me a text.
Hey guys, I've just moved to Melbourne from Perth. I'll be working in retail and hospitality. As I've just moved here I don't know too many people so it'd be great if my future house mates would like to hang out and indulge in a few bevies every now and then but at the same time I also appreciate that everyone needs their own space. I'm a pretty laid back person and I do enjoy going out every now and then. I'm also very neat and tidy and I love to cook so if you play your cards right you might get a decent feed out of me. Would love to meet some like minded people so if I sound like your kind of house mate feel free to get in contact with me :)

I'm Kabir, a 26 year old working as a full time landscape architect, currently share housing in Richmond. I moved to Melbourne from Christchurch, New Zealand, a year and a half ago and I am loving it. I have regular office hours Monday to Friday with weekends off. I keep a pretty low profile during the week and head out to socialise with mates on weekends. Big on having a good vibe in a flat. Being respectful of other people's space and self sufficiency are important traits to have. I'm a pretty easy going guy so am looking for people who like to go with the flow. I'm happy socialising with flatmates, be it over cooking dinner, just hanging out or heading out - but am equally as happy just doing our own thing.
Hey guys, I'm working/living in St Kilda and am looking to stay pretty close to the area, but also willing to live a bit further out for a great place/great flat mates! I'm very respectful of others space and belongings. I like things clean (esp. kitchens and bathrooms) so don't worry about the place being dirty! I love the outdoors, exploring the city, longboarding and FOOD. Keen for kitchen-collaborations and communal meals. Looking to become an English teacher so for any international housemates I'm happy to help with your language skills! I like to think I go to the gym, but I definitely don't. I do however want to get fit so I'm down for some motivational team-ups! Running, training in the park or joining a proper gym - doesn't matter which as long as it's not freezing outside! Also just wanted to add I'm very accepting and open-minded. I'll never discriminate based on race/religion/sex/everything else. One Love! P.s. Live with Mike :)
We are Lou 27 and Dave 29, a looking for a room to rent with friendly housemates in and around the Prahran / Windsor area! We're easy going, friendly and well house trained! We like cooking, eating good food and getting out and about around the city on our days off.
I'm a friendly guy, that's down to earth, clean and tidy and mostly keeps to myself during the week, often away on weekends during the summer. I have a house full of furniture and appliances. So I'm looking at starting a new share house with the correct friendly people. My only condition is that I need a secure garage or shed that is accessible. As I'm a carpenter and have tools, equipment and a large amount of sports equipment.
Born and raised in Amsterdam and half Japanese, 28 years old Dutchie. Am tidy and clean, enjoy good food outdoors, but am a lover of cooking at home too. Enjoy having a big cup of tea watching a movie or documentary on the sofa just as much as a glass of wine or just a beer under the sun or stars at night. Like going for runs when I feel like ;) and love cycling around Melbourne (when it is not raining).
I am a 26 year old lawyer working full time in the city. I play netball a few nights a week and enjoy being active and going out for food and drinks with friends on the weekend.
Hi, I recently turned 28 and work full time in Prahran in a small company. I am from Sweden and came to Melbourne one year ago after I graduated for an internship here and I love the city so much. It has everything. I like to go out for dinner/have a latte at cafes, meet new people, and I love to sing. I look forward getting to know you better when we meet and see if we could be a good fit.
I'm a 27-year-old full-time worker looking for a place to live with like-minded people. I'm pretty busy during the week, working Monday - Friday and heading to the gym after work. I enjoy heading out for a dinner, a drink or a dance, but I am just as comfortable curled up on the couch with a glass of wine and a Netflix or a movie.
Hi there! My name's Lea, I'm at a 23 year old woman from Vancouver, Canada. Just arrived in Melbourne! I graduated from uni with a history major last May and decided that between that and grad school I would love to do a few months in Melbourne and explore Australia! I've got the work-holiday visa and am planning to find a serving job or something like that. Pretty easy-going gal, I'm very friendly and love to chat, but also am into alone time to relax and chill out. Funny, respectful, love both cats and dogs (will help you take care of your pet if you have one!), anything else you want to know please feel free to send me a message! Also, I'm very flexible with the length of my stay, I just put 3 months a bit randomly because I had to choose one.
My name is Kathleen and i am currently finishing off my studies to become a Primary School teacher as well as working part time. I enjoy the outdoors and trying new things. I'm a tidy person who enjoys going out as well as staying in to have a netflix binge.
Hello potential roommate! My name is Kyran, I've lived in Geelong for the last four years. I finished my bachelor in Architectural Technology this week and I'm looking to move back up to Melbourne now that I am done. Though I loathe the term, I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting up a retail power company. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. Comes fully house trained. I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finished, and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I am looking for a room big enough for a queen sized bed. I also use a fair bit of freezer space. I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Things like a push button coffee machine, sous vide cooker, Olympic weights, fitness gear, and other bits and bobs. If you're looking to team up, I have furniture for a whole house. I am selling it, but I can hold off on it. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and love a deep conversation.
