Hey I'm Alex, I'm a PhD student at the University of Nottingham in the UK, I'm flying out with my bike to do a PhD placement at Macquarie University from 1st October - 22nd December and need somewhere to stay. I'm sociable and like a laugh but I'm also a very keen cyclist so will probably be doing a fair amount of riding when I'm not in the lab. I'm looking for my own room in a house or flat share with like minded people
Postgraduate Student from Bangladesh, previously lived in the UK, Canada & USA; and this time I'm looking forward to my time in Australia. I'm looking for a private room to rent near Macquarie University. Potentially it could be a room in a shared house/apartment with ensuite or shared bathrooms. About myself: I'm usually quiet, chilled-out, and clean; like to enjoy a good conversation, culture, different cuisine and music. Enjoy travelling, photography, cooking, occasional drinks, art and socialising. Not just a place that I'm looking for, hopefully, make a bunch of friends and get to experience Australia! So I'm open to team-ups as well. Get in touch, cheers x
Hi, I'm Shubo, and I'm an international student at Macquarie. I'm a quiet person, I live a regular life (usually gets up around 7.30 and goes to bed before 11.30), and I like keeping the public area clean after using, especially the sink. I legit prefer quiet housemates (if I get to pick :P). I'm looking for an apartment near Macquarie campus, preferrably within 15 minutes' walk. I spend a fair bit of the day time on campus, at class or at the library, but sometimes I sleep during the day if I'm really tired. I am from China and like cooking my own food. I also do baking, and you are always welcome to grab a bite. Cheers, Shubo
Hey, I am a 23 year old Indian guy. I will be moving to Sydney during the middle of July, 2019. I will be studying at Macquarie University. Basically, I am a frank, fun-loving guy, who loves to sing and hang out around doing fun stuff. I am looking for a well-furnished, private room for at least 4-6 months of stay.
Hello everyone, I am currently in India 😊. I am studying a degree in psych in Macquarie Uni.I love yoga, hiking and camping 😊.I love a chilled night with a nice glass of red..I love nights out and adore travelling.I am chilled, out going and chatty but also respectful of people's space.I work 3 days in the city and 2 days in uni 😊I would absolutely adore a place in woolstonecraft 😍😍😍😍
I am clean, I look after myself. I also enjoy cleaning and cooking. I am a friendly guy, I am honest and reliable. I don’t mind a drink now and again but I don’t go crazy and I hardly ever go out partying. And I am good with my rent as once my pay goes in first thing I do is rent.
Hi there. I'm living in Sydney for two years. Just seeking a place to get relax and watching movie after 7 pm. I work full time. I watch Netflix and I would like to share with my housemates. I listen to music and at the weekend I prefer to go to the beach and road trips.
I keep busy with a few different hobbies and mostly focus my energy on those. I work full time regular hours, which is going to change in a few months once my shift work starts. The ideal house is one that is open friendly and helpful. I don't at all mind pets or people having fun. I myself like to keep things clean, neat and tidy; but who's having fun without a little bit of mess? I am an easy going chap and I will want to get to know the people I am living with and enjoy having the house come alive in the evenings. I also understand life is busy, so people cannot always be around and I do respect that.
Note: I cannot move out immediately from my current place. It's very much convenient and big too one with balcony. But if I'm , I'll contact some of you. Thanks. I'm a PhD student at Macquarie University. I prefer the place which is near to MQ. I like to garden (I do have a little garden with me) so, a place with a small balcony will be much better. I like to run, normally in the mornings. I love reading so , if you start talking with me about a book, we'll get along pretty well. I keep to myself. I don't really enjoy partying. But occasionally, if there's not too much noise, I can enjoy a beer or two. :)
Hey, I’m a 30-year-old professional working in Macquarie Park 2113. I’m on the hunt for a furnished private room for couples in the area and surrounding suburbs with a budget between $250-$300 per week (bills included). I have a car and a motorcycle, so I’m looking for secure parking, if not for my car, but most definitely for my motorcycle (happy to park the car on the street). My girlfriend is working in Melbourne and will move up to Sydney at the end of October. So, if there is an option to convert it to a couple occupancy down the line by paying extra rent, that would be great. Other than that, I am a very tidy and a fun-loving person, looking for housemates who are of the same age group and like-minded. I’m dedicated to my work during weekdays, but happy to hangout over the weekends. I love motorcycles, camping, photography which is a fantastic combo. I’m also a total pet-person, having had a dog for 16 years and a couple of cats of my own back home, so if you either have pets or motorcycles of your own, that would be absolutely fantastic. I have my own PS4, so if you're into gaming, always happy to have a partner. I’ve also done a master’s degree in Data Analytics and so if you’re into subjects like machine learning and data modelling we could match there too. Back in Melbourne, I lived with 4 other housemates from different nationalities for over 18 months, so if you’re looking for references, they’d be more than happy to have a chat with you and vouch for me. If you see any sort of match in the above profile, hit me up and I’d be keen to come on over for an inspection. Thanks!
Hi everyone, I recently got my 190 visa and require a room to rent for my wife while she is looking for a job. I'll be staying in New Zealand in my current job until she is settled. Hopefully we would only need around a month till she has found a job and a place to rent for herself and me. I am currently employed with a government depart and was in the same roll in the UK (yes we are originally British though my wife is fluent in Chinese as well). Having tried for several years she has been unable to gain employment in New Zealand and so we are moving to Sydney. Any questions please don't hesitate to ask Thank you in advance for considering us. Darren & Xu
Hi! I am Udit Mahajan and got admitted into Mq university. My course is Bsc Information Technology. I am an early bird as well as a night owl. I would love to stay in a quiet neat place. PLEASE NOTE THAT I'M NOT INTERESTED IN RENTING ROOM IN AN EXISTING SHARED HOME! Hi, I'm Sakib! I'm 24 years old full-time Software Engineer working out of Macquarie Park. I'm a friendly, sociable and outgoing person, but do enjoy my own space to recharge and respect other people's privacy. I love bouldering, dancing, outdoor activities, trying out different foods and enjoy time out with my friends. I am looking to team up with people close to my age to find a nice place that we can potentially call home for long term. Ideally looking for a place which is within 30 mins commute to the city by public transport and within an hour drive to Macquarie Park. I've also got full set of furniture for a two bedroom flat. Also my rental budget is between $250 - $350 pw depending on the quality of the accommodation. My moving date is flexible as I just need to give 3 weeks notice to my current landlord. Ideally looking to move early Dec or late Jan as I'll be going away on holiday for a month starting mid Dec but if we can find a great place before that I'm happy to move in early.
