Hey! I am a Nurse moving to Port Stephens Mid April. -Clean -Easy going -Respects privacy -Social -Shift worker - so you won't be seeing me a lot. I’m looking for a place to call 'home' preferably with females and that is happy to have our own space but also keen to hang out.
Looking for furnished coastal accommodation over the summer possibly longer in NSW. I'd like to be close to the beach where I can enjoy long walks in a quiet and peaceful place with water views, ideally. I'm based in Sydney and own my own home there however I am looking to travel to and fro by car in NSW to just have a weekend or mid week getaway place. I'm a clean, kind, caring and considerate person with a busy life in Sydney that loves the coast and the quiet of a much smaller place. I'm also looking at houseminding.
I can cook, am very social, easy going and quiet person. Love catching up with friends and family to have a beer and having a chat. I am a Supervisor on Road Traffic Control. I have lived in Raymond Terrace for 27 years and in Cooranbong with my family on an orchard before that.
Looking for a share house, i am clean and tidy but still relaxed. I have a budgie which would be nice if he could live with me too :) I currently work full time as a vet nurse. I do have a boyfriend but understand he would not be able to visit so this should not be a problem. I like spending my days off at the beach or having a few drinks with my friends.
Hi, My name is Sesha, I live in Sydney and travel to Newcastle often for work. I am looking for a place to stay for a month or 2 max. will stay only during weekdays and head back to Sydney on weekends. Looking to stay for 4-8 weeks. Sesha, Indian male, been in Australia for 9 years, 29 YO. Thanks, Sesha.
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm studying my Masters in Social Work and working in mental health with an NGO. My current real estate (Nextview Property) are happy to rent to me again so If I can find one or two others to live with me, we're good! I'm an amazing housemate and have an indoor rabbit named Margot that spends her days getting pats. She is smart, litter trained and more of a cat-dog. I'm very clean, considerate of all my housemates, responsible, active, enjoy a glass of wine, hanging out and gaming. I am open to living pretty much anywhere from Wallsend to Newcastle.
We are ideally looking for a large room with our own bathroom, preferably with a backyard or a large deck. My partner will be studying full time and I will be working full time in the health industry.
Hello! I'm 25 years old, born and bred in Newcastle, and having just returned from overseas am looking for somewhere new to call home. Over the years I've lived with males and females, friends and strangers of varying ages, and in places ranging from 14 beds to cosy little terraces, so I'm very much aware of respecting personal space/possessions (but I also like to be social and have the odd dinner or share a bottle of wine or six when time permits). I'm in the final year of my degree this year (and working part-time) so I am looking for somewhere relatively chill whilst I'm up to my neck in study. I'm an easy-going and liberal kind of person so whatever you're into there's no dramas on my end, but I just can't be living in a trap house. I do also like to keep things pretty clean and tidy (within reason), so I'm looking to live with like-minded people in that regard. I'm very conscious of being respectful and cleaning up after myself properly, so to that end you're never going to find a dirty kitchen bench/sink full of dishes/washing machine full of half-damp laundry/bathroom sink full of beard when you get home and just want to relax. If you've got some kind of cleaning routine just let me know what you need me to take over and we're good. I stay pretty active and in my spare time I love to surf, run and box. On top of that I really enjoy cooking for myself and for others (I don't eat meat but it's just a personal choice and I couldn't care less if you do), and if I'm feeling lazy you can find me draped over a piece of furniture with a book at any given hour. Alternatively, if you have a pet I will spend the vast majority of my life patting it, and if it's a dog I'm very happy to run it for you if you ever need. Now that you have this riveting insight into my existence, please get in touch if you've got any questions or if you'd like to meet up for a drink/chat! Cheers.
I'm American , super adventurous and outgoing. I love to surf, explore, and meet new people! I'm super friendly and get on with most anyone. I'm just in Newcastle on a working holiday visa. Looking for somewhere within skating distance to the ocean. :)
Need a place before the 11th of April Currently taking a year off uni to earn some money. I'm super chilled, don't mind a few beverages on the weekend. Super clean and tidy in common areas. Own my own bedroom furniture and a BBQ. But could be able to take conch, dinning table and washing machine from current house, if needed.
Hi all! I'm Ami. Summing yourself up in a paragraph is probably the hardest thing ever but here goes.. I'm pretty active, I enjoy the gym, hiking, the beach and just generally being out and about! I'm pretty easy going and friendly and would love to move in with like minded people. I don't mind going out for the occasional drink but I'm also quite likely to be curled up at 9pm on a Friday night with a book and a good cuppa tea, grandma at heart :P haha
Hey! My name is Neeve, I'm 18 years old. I'm from Tasmania (and no before you ask I only have the one head!) I am currently working full time and will pursue full-time work in Newcastle as I take my gap year. I'm respectable, honest and easy to get along with. Like the majority of the population, I would be lost without my morning coffee fix. I love to bake and cook desserts, I love the beach and love both nights out and chilled nights in. I'm always up for a new challenge or experience. I am SO excited to move to Newcastle and can't wait for the new adventures and friends I'm going to make! I can't wait to move and look forward from hearing from you soon!
Hi there! I'm Josh, I moved to this wonderful town of Newcastle from Adelaide almost a year ago now, and currently work in architecture. I'm pretty relaxed. I enjoy leisurely bike rides, reading, art, breakfast, exploring new places, and low-key probably be happy living in a van if that's an option. I have loved living by myself for a year, but cant wait to meet some new people. :)
Hey, I'm tayla! I am moving to Newcastle to work as a paramedic in April. I'm posted at Birmingham Gardens station so anywhere within reasonable driving distance is sweet. I'm easy going and sociable so looking for someone likeminded. I've lived in share houses and always enjoyed the social aspect of doing so. Ideally I'd like to live with someone I can get to know and have a laugh with. Give me a yell for more info :)
Hi! We are two German girls studying industrial engineering and management. In July we are going to start our semester abroad at UoN and we are really looking forward to an anwesome time in Newcastle! We are interested in living with Australian and International students in a nice place close to the beach and UoN city precinct for about 4 month. So if you have vacancy we would be grateful if you could send us some photos and information about your place! Thank you a lot in advance! Best wishes from Germany, Doro and Luisa
Hey! We're Sophie and Jacob. We are both studying full time at the University of Newcastle and working part time. We're both laid back people who are easy to live with but also clean/tidy and respectful of other peoples space and values. We are very interested in starting a new share house in Merewether. We both enjoy being outdoors, going to the beach and seeing friends, but we aren't party people. However we do hope to become friends with potential housemates and enjoy a glass of wine or beers with them. Message us for any specifics you'd like to know or if you're also interested in starting a new sharehouse.
Tell us something I am a bit of a free spirit. I enjoy a reasonably healthy lifestyle, vegan, fitness and the outdoors. I also don't mind a good time come the weekend, anywhere with live gigs. To live with I am social but definitely enjoy my solo time (only child syndrome). I am hugely respectful of the living environment and personal space.
Current student studying podiatry. I work in medical industry currently and hospitality. Play AFL, soccer and mtb ride. Very active. Social and not alot of free time. Me in a nut shell.
I have ticked the smoker box but it's only when I'm at work or on a night out. I work in the mines. I currently live in muswellbrook but want to rent a 2 or 3 bedroom unit near the beach in Newcastle. I have a good sense of humor. I'm neat and tidy. No locked in moving date just waiting to find the right housemate. Ideally looking for a housemate that can afford around $300 - $350 per week each so we can rent a really nice place with great views. I have 2 kids but they don't live with me. I enjoy playing basketball and golf. I'm a pretty relaxed and easy going person.
I am a UON student studying Secondary Education (Fine Art) full time. I am from newcastle looking to move out of my family home. I have a social but quite personality, as well as clean and tidy. I love an active lifestyle, I spend most days at uni and work but in my spare time I enjoy going to the beach and for long walks and runs. I would prefer to live with other students but I'm also easy going!
Mother and daughter (16) both currently studying in Cooks Hill. Uma is a student at Cooks Hill Campus, she is greatly interested in the body, yoga and health and I am currently in my third year of full time study in herbalism. We both get along really well and would love to find a place to call home in the newcastle east/cooks hill area. We are out most days and on the weekends and afternoons we enjoy going to a yoga class, relaxing at home, going for walks and making delicous food! We would love to hear from you!
I am an easy going, clean and active person, like living a healthy life and surf every day. Moving to newcastle to start uni in july 27th will also be working casualy. Looking for a place near the surf.
G'Day! I am a 23 year old student currently in my final semester of Design in Melbourne and I am planning to chase the warmth and head up to Newcastle more or less straight after I finish (around July - August). I love the beach, skating, surfing, exercise and the odd frosty on a hot day. I am a pretty easy going guy, clean, sociable but also enjoy time to myself to unwind and relax.
Studying Nursing at the uni, would love to live near the beach and/or near the center of Newcastle. Easygoing, social person looking to live with similar girls in their 20's.
Recently moved to Newcastle , looking for a place to stay for the year . Clean, tidy, reliable with rent . Non-smoker. Work full time with long hours but would love somewhere to be able to come home and relax . Not after a party house , but wouldn't mind the occasional dinners, drinks, activities with housemates, but also understanding and respectful of everyone's space and privacy .
Hi im Hayley, I have recently moved to Newcastle from Mudgee and I will be starting full time work on the 17th of March working Monday to Friday. I have lived out of home for the last 6 years and I have a full house of furniture. I have an Aussie Bulldog named Ralph that will be moving with me. During the day when I'm at work Ralph will be outside however when I am home he usually comes inside to lay around and watch TV, he's toilet trained and generally quite lazy however he does enjoy to have a run around and play fetch. Ideally I'm looking for someone that's great with pets and willing to have him around the house. I'm new to town and would like to meet new friends and build great friendships. I enjoy having a chat however my cooking abilities aren't fabulous. I'm super clean and respectful, I enjoy hanging out but also like time to myself. I'm generally quiet during the week and enjoy relaxing after work however I enjoy having a few drinks on the weekends and heading out with friends. I'm looking to team-up with 2-3 people and I'm available to move asap, if you're interested please feel free to contact me 😊
Hi, We're a couple (25 and 30) with a well trained golden retriever, and our fur baby (cringe...sorry) must come with us. We're laid back and chill, but we also know how to clean and we are sociable but not loud. We're focused on doing well at work and uni and meeting some really cool people along the way. I'm from Newcastle, my husband is Mexican-American (California). He makes great tacos, enchiladas and nachos. I'm working full time and Trevor is studying and working part time. We love movies, laughing and anything creative...save subway artistry. We are looking for a room in a share house with an ensuite or a granny flat. If you feel like getting in touch, just give us a bell or send us an email : )
I just moved back to Newcastle after a few years back home. I am easy to get along with and live a foodie coffee obsessed life, I work hard and enjoy the occasional wine and cheese time but am not a hard partier. I am looking for a housemate who is clean and respectful of space but loves a home environment. If that's you send a message through.
I'm a full time professional looking to join an established house or start a new one. I'm a fan of outdoor activities and cooking delicious meals. I come with a cute little cat who is an adventurous outdoorsy type but sleeps inside at night. You don't have to like cats, she will probably ignore you anyway..
I'm new to the area, currently working in administration in high schools. I'm a tidy and easy going flat mate and always up for a laugh. Looking for somewhere to call home with friendly people. I love the outdoors and am enjoying exploring the area.
Hi, I'm Tanya. I'm a full-time Law and Communications student and part-time barista/waitress from Newcastle. I'm a considerate, clean and social housemate who is always up for a chat, but is more than happy to have quiet nights in as well. I like singing, exercising and going out with friends, and am also an avid movie-watcher and music-listener.
Hey! I'm Todd. I work as an estimator for a big construction company and also DJ on weekends and occasionally through the week. I've rented houses with friends/randoms for about 4 years so I'm pretty experienced when it comes to these living arrangements and find it easy and good fun. I'm very relaxed and respectful of those I live with and would expect that to go both ways. I'm pretty busy at work so my weekdays are usually very quiet and I also work away in Sydney every 3 - 4 weeks so I will disappear at times. Come the weekend I'm very social and will spend most of it out with my friends, playing a gig or at soccer now the season is around the corner. If you're chilled through the week and fun on the weekends like me then please give me a buzz. Looking to live back in the city or as close to as possible. Main preference is to start a new lease at a new property with someone.
Hi, I'm studying psychology at UoN, working part-time and I'm in the Army Reserve. Self sufficient and clean. I'm a fun loving social guy, keen for chilled nights and casual drink. I am after a place close to the CBD but it's more important to have friendly and trustworthy flatmates. If it sounds like I would be a good fit for a room at your place please don't hesitate to send me a message. Thanks for your consideration.
Hello! My names Eamon (19), I'm from the Central Coast and am moving to Newcastle to be closer to UON. I can have fun and love to socialise and make new friends but I'm also respectful of other people (I won't throw parties without asking other housemates). I'm neat and tidy and respectful of other people's belongings. I would like a place where all the roommates are friends and get along well as its where we will spend most of our time. I'm also looking at whole houses to rent so if anyone wants to teamup I have a few places I'm looking at near the uni saved.
I am a relaxed individual with an open mind to all things, I enjoy cooking, reading, gardening, live music, and yoga. Generally active and healthy - minimum drinking and smoking. Working full time from home and my office. Respect and consideration are at the roots of any action I take, generally speaking I am looking for a housemate who shares the same values.
