Friendly and upbeat person. Up for a chat and sometimes sharing a meal with housemates or likewise happy doing my own thing independently. When I'm not working I like to relax with Pilates, go see friends and family or catch a movie. Looking for a household that is reasonably quiet.
I am a Bachelor of Primary Education student at ACU in Fitzroy, currently completing my 3rd/4th year (I'm an out of phase student). I have recently come back from a semester in New York and am now desperate for my independence back and to move on from the family nest. I am originally from Scotland (I have completely lost my accent though), before moving to Abu Dhabi and then Melbourne. My family and I have now lived in Melbourne for 11 years and became citizens about 5 years ago. I absolutely adore this city and all that it is. With that said, the travel bug has got me badly and I absolutely love exploring new places. I currently work at a homewares/gift store in McKinnon 2 days a week and am on the hunt for a second job that will also take up 2 days a week. My current Uni timetable is on another 2 days a week so that makes my week pretty full. In my spare time I take dance classes and go to the gym frequently. I enjoy cooking/baking, Netflix, going out for walks, eating brunch, socialising with friends and spending time with my boyfriend. If there's ever a costume party count on me to go full out, or I won't go at all. I've always been an independent and mature person meaning I often get mistaken for being much older than I actually am. I am clean, neat and tidy - a trait inherited from my Mum - but not to an excessive, annoying level! I like going out and having a good time but I am far from a party girl (my friends refer to me as the "mum" of the group...). I like to keep the home as a place to chill the majority of the time. I am very easy going and easy to talk to, as long as I don't get too excited and start speaking at a ridiculous speed. I'm looking for a positive, respectful environment where I can slot in nicely!
I'm Tom, I'm an international student at Monash and I work part time at Woolworths. I have lived with family for 3 years in Australia but I wish to stay on while they have/are moving back to Ireland. Even though I'm not Australian I'm very settled here and I want to live with some Aussies because I get on very well with them. I'm very clean and organised, I keep to myself mostly but I'm still very easy going and friendly. I am hard working when it comes to uni so I will probably be spending a lot of time studying and in my down time I'll probably be with my girlfriend or my friends - I'm easy when it comes to having friends over, if you don't want it then I won't do it! I drink a lot of tea and coffee so I will regularly offer to make you a hot drink. I study Science and Arts at Monash in both Clayton and Caulfield campuses and I'm majoring in Zoology and Ancient History. I absolutely love animals so if you own any I'll be more than happy to share my space with them - although I'm slightly allergic to cats (I'm well used to living with them though). My ideal place would be one with a big back garden because I have a BBQ and an outdoor table in my current place that I'd like to take with me. I'd also prefer an unfurnished room because I have a lot of furniture to bring including a bed, desk, bedside table and drawers. I don't really have an ideal flatmate, as I said I'm very easy going so whether you're the type to keep to yourself or if you want a friend I think I'd be a good addition to your place. I'm a very studious person who loves learning new things but I'm also really relaxed and love just chilling out and reading, playing games and soccer.
Hi, I'm an easy going relaxed male. I do a number of things that are creatively inspired, mainly behind the scenes as a project manager/producer. I also work in the women's footwear industry. Whilst my daily professional life out of the home is very people focused, therefore requiring me to be 'UP' all of the time, my home life is about being relaxed and taking time out, but don't get me wrong, a G &T from time to time wouldn't go a miss. Being clean, tidy and respectful of people's space is part of the course. My actions speak louder then words! I love the outdoors, especially being by rivers and lakes - It's the perfect escape from the concrete jungle!
British couple. We are fun and easy going. Poppy works at the bureau of meteorology in the cbd and Tom works at a small scaffold company in Carrum Downs. Both work full time. We are looking for a place to live half way down the frankston line from the cbs so Tom doesn't have to travel to work for too long.
Paul's a Filipino-grown Melbourne Citizen who's been designing for as long as he can remember. That is his main passion. Paul is pretty social, tidy and easy going and looking for people of similar traits. Paul likes to talk in third person.
Hi! I just moved to Melbourne for a new job! I'm super clean, friendly and love to chill out with some netflix, good food or keen to explore some cool pockets of the city! See ya soon!
Hey peeps i am looking for a fun and vibrant house to share; A little bit about me: I am a masters graduate from Swinburne university. Nature enthusiast and creative worm also planning to work at the same time and focus more on my creative passion of filmmaking and cinematography. Love listening to books on audible and multitask. Love meeting new people and exploring different places and interests in different cultures. Love even more un planned travelling and driving. So, this is a little bit about me. I am exactly looking for long term accommodation where my flatmate/housemate have very respectful understanding towards each other at the same time have loads of fun and feel it like a home. Please do ping me or email me Thanks
I'm a full time university student. I have a generally busy schedule during the day. I'm relaxed and like to socialize, but I also like spending time on my own and respect others' space. I'm looking for easy going and neat housemates to share a property.
Hi there! I'm looking to be moved out by the end of February/start of March to either a room in an established sharehouse, or in a new sharehouse we create. Would definitely prefer a long term home, so at least 6 months if possible! I am a 17 year old gal (18 in April), I work in hospitality and am hoping to begin studying nursing within the year. I'm a big triple j fan, love a good Netflix/Stan binge, can cook a couple meals pretty well (am much better at eating), and most importantly am an easy going and respectful housemate! I have two (very cute) cats that will probably need to move with me, but don't worry they are outdoor cats 95% of the time - the other 5% would be in my bedroom for cuddles (or in the lounge room if you'd like some pats too!). So preferably they'd need some grassy area to hang out in, and unfortunately wouldn't mix too well with dogs but could be okay with other cats. My only preferences for housemates are that you are respectful of others and the house, like you'd want from anyone you're living with. In an ideal world, coming home to some chill people I can watch tv and hang out with would be awesome, but I also understand wanting some time to yourself after a long day/night. Thank you for reading all the way to the end and please message me if you have any questions or think we'd make good housemates!
We are an easygoing couple looking to share a house. We are never home during weekdays, and enjoy quiet evenings. Our weekends are active, so we are out and about most of the time.. both happy to cook, and clean and love having a laugh with like minds.

I'm a 27 y/o Melbourne local looking for a place in the south east, or close to Melbourne Uni, to call home. I currently work full time in compliance, and I'll be starting law at Melbourne in early Feb. I like to spend the rest of my time reading, cooking, trying to learn a new language, and checking out new brunch places. I'm good for a chat but not a space invader, and I'm pro-active in keeping things tidy. If it sounds like I'd fit in at your share house, get in touch and we can sort something out. Look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a Business Analyst professional who has been recently shifted to Melbourne from Sydney. I'm working for a leading Australian clothing brand in South Yarra. For the time being, I'm staying in my friend's house and will have to move out as his wife and baby is coming back. I'm a very friendly person. Like to keep my home neat and tidy. Love sports, hanging out with my friends and would love to have an occasional beer or two with my house mates. That being said, I also love a quiet time. Understands the word 'Privacy' and appreciates the basic house sharing etiquette.
Looking to share a house with people around my age who are social and laid-back whilst still tidy, respectable and understand the importance of privacy, or as I like to call it; 'me time'. Outside of 'me time' I'd love to form friendships within the house where I can comfortably hold a conversation, share a drink (whether it be tea or a few beers) and binge out to Netflix. I'd also love a gym buddy who can seriously motivate me! I work part-time and will be studying a double degree at ACU as off late Feb. Please don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you think we'd be good housemates as I'd love to be moved and settled in before uni begins :) - I also just want to clear up that I may want to bring friends over from time to time but can assure you they will be on their best behavior! -
Outgoing and clean guy who's recently moved back to Australia after living in the UK for the past 8 years. Driven in terms of work and education and am returning to University at RMIT this Feb 2017. Have lived with extended family for the past year and am looking for somewhere local to them and work, but also close enough to the city for Uni. Like the occasional drink but wont be bringing the party home every weekend, up for fun and socialising with my housemates but also respect privacy and value my own alone time.
HI! We're Michael and Chase from Philadelphia, USA. We are in Melbourne for nine months on Working Holiday Visas and need a place to call home ASAP. Looking for friendly people that are either locals or also new to Melbourne. We like traveling, good conversation, open minds, a good drink, and enjoying life as often as we can!
I am an easy going, friendly, 23 year old Melbourne girl. I work full time as a primary school teacher in the eastern suburbs. Have lived out of home for a year now and loving it! Enjoy cooking, having a wine and catching up with friends :)
I am currently looking for new place to rent by the start of April. Only real conditions are cheaper rent (currently pay $250pw) and close proximity to running tracks as well as the monash freeway. Looking to team up with others and create a new share house as I have a lot of existing furniture I need to accommodate hat will not fit in a single room (dining table, kitchen cabinets, tv entertainment unit, fridge etc.) Currently working full-time and studying part time so probably won't be around very often. But when I am I do enjoy socialising with my housemates Feel free to message if you're interested in meeting up to see if we might get along as housemates
I am a very friendly , reliable and chilled out person . I am very adjusting and respect every person's views. I am open minded and love music and dancing . Welcome chatting and drinks during weekends .
Pretty easy going. Love travel, good food, good wine and being outside in the sunshine preferably near some body of water. I like to cook and be healthy with exercise but my favourite workout is a boogie on the dance floor. Very house proud and love spending nights on the couch with a good movie or bad TV. I work in advertising which is pretty demanding so I only really go out on the weekend if I'm not too tired! ☺️ I have loads of furniture including a washing machine, dryer and fridge as well as the usual couch, dining table, chairs and anything else you can think of. I have a little Jack Russel called Max who loves people and will guard the house with his life.
Hey Everyone, My name is Amber and I'm fun, clean, easy going and super friendly :) I am looking for a place for at least 12 months, preferably longer. I do smoke but only outside also I'm not driving and don't have a car at the moment so I'm looking for somewhere close to public transpor. I'm a student at RMIT University in the city, I am also searching for part time employment (I do have a stable income to support my accommodation)
Currently working 2 part time jobs - 2 days admin work in Clayton and freelance web development. I love music, burgers, TV shows and having a good time. I'm pretty clean and good with housework. I'm sociable but like having my own space too. Looking to move around the end of April.

I enjoy keeping busy and definitely work to live, not the other way around. Social by nature with a keen interest in film, music, sport and keeping fit. I am clean, tidy, respectful of others and take pride in where I live and who I live with. I also try not to take myself too seriously and I am always reliable with rent and bills.
Hello! Im a bright, bubbly 23 year old looking for a new share house to move to! I'm a tidy, considerate housemate who is quiet mid-week around my full time work hours. I've lived by myself for 6months and in a share house for 10months (most recently) and I'm looking to move to pursue a career promotion to somewhere close enough to Southland Shopping centre - bus or train access (i don't drive at the moment). I come with a fully kitted out bedroom so un-furnished would be preferable! I could store some of the furniture but at a minimum would prefer my own bed... I also work for a candle and homewares company so the house will smell amazing! I cook, clean regularly and take pride in my home so I'd love to do some decorating! About me: Im definitely keen on the Netflix binge... probably a bit too much! I spend all day talking to people so some mind-numbing tv is definitely nice/needed! I read a lot - try to go to a park and read to get some vitamin D when i can. I love going to the movies (mostly for cinema popcorn) and out for brunch. I have a lot of friends in the Carnegie/Malvern area so I like to go out and about, catch up with people and have dinner out on my weekends off. I always loved cooking but i have been enjoying it even more since i moved out - i do enjoy trying new recipes and putting on some music, dancing around the kitchen while i cook! I visit my family a lot because i have 2 baby bros under the age of 5 and i stay with my nans once every 2-3weeks to keep her company. Plus my mum lives in Country Victoria, about 3hrs out of Melbourne, so if i get a long weekend off, I'm usually up visiting her! I also study Human Rights with my Arts degree so between full time work and study I'm pretty busy!! I usually work from 8:30am - 6pm with one day off mid week, and then every second weekend so I'm a hermit mid-week and on my working weekend but i don't mind a casual wine or two after work to wind down with dinner and a movie. Please get in touch if you think i would be a good fit! Hope to hear from you soon :)
I am a very quiet, respectful, responsible and easy going student and I will be busy with my studies during my length of stay at the house. I will be new to the city so I won't have any friends or acquaintances around me and it will be nice to have some friends living with me.

Hi, I'm from Shanghai and I'll start my grduate study on fashion in RMIT very soon. I studied Management for my bachelor degree, and I used to work in big 4 for learning & development stuff. After 2 years of a boring and repetitive work, I decided to quit and re-start with sth I really love in a different but lovely city. My friends always comments me as a thoughtful and caring guy with deep empathy. I'm not sure if this comment is too high or not enough objective, but I do could always get along with the people around me very well. Also I'm quite a tidy guy and I like to keep my place clean, cosy and organized. What's more, I had almost 7 years experience of living in share accommodation, so I'm absolutely clear with the common rules. I like travelling, art, music... oh and movies are definetly my cup of tea, I'm quite a movie lover. I enjoy drinking moderately & occasionally, alone or out with friends. Well, above is a simple listing of myself, you could learn more about me in person if you're interested or if we got chance to be flatemates :) Cheers
I will be moving to Melbourne on 13th of this month. I'll be pursuing Masters at Monash. I'm an indian woman, who loves to read, meditate and practice yoga. I'm a non smoker, and a vegetarian. I love to socialise but I'm not a party person. Easy going and tidy. So yaah, this is about me :)

I'm usually pretty busy with work and uni but friends are the most important thing to me. I try to contribute to a fun and functional household.

Im easy-going and enjoy nights out as well as quiet nights at home. I like a social drink, I am tidy and will pay my rent on time ($200 per week inc bills please 😁 ! ) I prefer housemates in the 20's or early 30's age group so if you think I'd be a good fit in your house I'd love to hear from you . Hi all, About myself: I am a professional engineer with Northern-European background, recently moved here to enjoy better climate and way of life. I am cool with most of people and believe diversity will enrich us. I have a more doer attitude than a thinker or chiller. My hobbies include motorcycles (racing, cruising, touring), cars, bicycling, poker, disc golf, electronics, music. My ideal share-house I would join or create: I would prefer a European/western style share house (not a racist, we'll just get along better with similar cultural background). With 4-5 comfy individual rooms (to have more company, some possibly for couples), with an possible extra room for friends/Couchsurfers to temporarily stay in. All for the diversity. Can be male and female mixed. All working professionals (no need to argue about expenditures in range of 10$). Should be a home to live and thrive, rather than cheap accommodation. A big friendly family to share evenings and weekends by choice rather requirement, as of living together. Of course if one needs private time, this should be ok too. Friends coming over in the weekend should be a norm, rather a unwanted exception. Going out together to explore the city and events. Preferably with a paid cleaning for common areas/gardening service (unless somebody is too keen to do gardening by themselves. I guess cleaning in not a hobby :) ). Location: I would prefer living in a reasonable distance from my workplace (Mulgrave, up to 10km radius). The house should have a easy and fast access to the city for both car and public transport, should be located in or near the center of a well established suburb (restaurants, bars, cafes, etc.). House: Preferably new built or freshly renovated. Modern style. Adequate heating and cooling in all areas. Living area: Big living area with comfy sofas and large TV/projector. Console(s), if you are interested. Movie server/Netflix box. Fast Internet and WiFi. Kitchen: Big open kitchen with all the required utensils and appliances(micro, oven, cooktop, grill, etc.). Should be simultaneously comfortably use-able by at least two persons. Shared meals, why not. Backyard: Some greenery, BBQ, large covered sitting/lounge area. Possibly hot tub or a pool. Garage: Double-car garage with all the tools for simple maintenance for cars and bikes ( I am a DIY-er). Although, the actual vehicles should stay outside (except bikes and bicycles). Possibly create a common area there with a pool table, sofas and a fridge for drinks. My current situation: I do not own much property except a motorbike, a bicycle and some tools, but I would be willing to invest to create this kind of atmosphere. Of course, first solution would be to get all the required inventory from Gumtree for a cheap price and upgrade whenever necessary. It might be possible for me to get some of the stuff from a friend (couches, beds, mattresses, pool table, kitchen equipment). If any of this rings a bell for you, give me a message or a text, let's get together over a beer and discuss the possible future. Cheers, Rait
Hi, I'm Kate, a 29yr old student studying early childhood and primary teaching at Monash. I currently work in sports retail, which helps to pay the bills. I am clean, tidy, honest and relaxed.
Hi guys! I'm Mel, I'm 28 years old and working full-time in mental health. I am going back to uni next year to do my Masters, so looking for somewhere not too far from public transport. I'm a laid-back, friendly person, and I enjoy living in a harmonious, clean environment. I like all the usual things; live gigs and music, going out, travelling, markets and cider. I enjoy living with a friendly group of people, and socialising with them without treading on their toes. I like to have my own space from time to time, as I'm sure most people do, and I'm not looking for a overly crazy party house. Looking for an unfurnished room. I have some other furniture (lounge, armchair and fridge) so ideally looking for somewhere with some space.
