HI! We are a couple looking to start a new life in Brisbane. I'm Jonathan, and i'll be studying and working part time while my wife Jaasiel works full-time. We are very clean and organized, we don't drink or smoke, and understand that people need some quiet time. The only noise that you may hear from us may be some singing in the morning while we get ready, but overall we consider us to be nice neighbors :) We are looking for a small, one bedroom flat, hopefully furnished and located near Brisbane's city centre. We plan on moving there by March.
We are a easy going fun couple looking for a space to share, as my girlfriend just moved from Sydney . We will be working for 10 hrs a day approx. But love a peaceful chat and drink after work .
I work in hospitality. I just finished a double degree at uni and am looking to get into full time work next year. I am originally from The NT. I am pretty tidy and quiet. Looking for a place with like-minded people with a similar lifestyle - uni or working!
I'm a laid back Japanese guy who wants a place to relax and live. I love sports and I'm pretty active myself. I'm looking for a cheap room with clean and friendly roommate. Not too picky because of my budget. Max of 150 including bills Planning on going to CQU so any room near there will be considered
Hi! I'm Anna, I am 24 and will be moving to Brisbane in late jan/ early Feb 2020 for an full-time professional job in the city. I am after a place that has good access to the city but is in an quiet street/ complex or an person who would like to team-up with me to find something similar :) I am a social person but rather than parties I prefer a quiet drink with mates. I love dogs, I own a chocolate labrador so most weekends I will be visiting him at my parents place . I'm also a food enthusiast, love a good cook-up but also keeping things tidy! I clean up after myself and enjoy a clean household. I'd love to be good friends with my house mate but don't want the place to be party-central every weekend. However, I am quite happy to go out to socialise or have a wine or two at home.
Hi! My name is Olivia and I’m looking for a shared place for 4-6 months from the beginning of 2020. I’m from Finland, but I’ve lived in Australia for the past 3 years. I’m in Finland now but coming back to Brisbane in January to do a course and work remotely. I’m easygoing and friendly, and I keep things tidy and always do my share of cleaning. I have an early night time routine and leave a relatively active and healthy lifestyle (boxing, dancing, outdoors, farmers markets on weekends) Ideal place would be an apartment with aircon, a lot of sunlight and in a nice area with 1 or 2 flatmates. I have my bedroom furniture but I could sell them if I find a suitable furnished room. Looking for a place to call home! Send me a message if you’ve got something in mind! :)
I'm looking for somewhere in the Brisbane area for myself and my 6yr old Kelpie Bessie. I'm 22, and work part time at a cafe. I'm originally from NSW but moved to Queensland 4 years ago for the lovely weather! I have all my own room furniture including kitchen items. I've rented on my own for 2 years and flat-shared for a year with a few different people. I do also have some furniture in storage (couch, fridge, washing machine) that I could bring with me if you wanted! My flatmates are moving so I'm now looking for somewhere new! I enjoy going for walks with Bess, yoga, cooking, reading and have recently started Jiu Jitsu classes. I'm friendly and clean, and also respectful of personal space. When I'm home although I tend to be quiet and keep to myself, I love a good chat. :) Bessie is a rescue and as such is very timid to begin with. I hope to find somewhere it's okay for her to stay inside as she is most content to be curled up on my bed when I'm not home, although she often comes with me if I'm not at work or uni. She gets along with dogs of all sizes but unfortunately has a phobia of cats. I'm looking for somewhere with a secure yard as Bess is flighty and if a gate is left open she will bolt and not look back. She is very well toilet trained and I have never had her make a mess inside in the 3 years I've had her. Once she feels comfortable she is very friendly and loves a good pat!
Hello - I'm a full-time law student (who also works part-time) seeking accommodation from Jan 2020 in Brisbane, preferably close to the city. As a student, you'll mostly find me holed up in my room or at uni. I am however an easy-going person by nature, and enjoy making new friends. I enjoy living in a clean and tidy environment - you'll never find me leaving a common area messy. To relax, I like to watch cooking shows and soppy period dramas. I look forward to hearing more from any prospective flatmates :)
I'm an easy going person, very respectful of other housemates and very clean. I work anywhere between 60-80 hours per week (including a lot of weekend work) so I'm pretty occupied most of the time. I'd like to live with someone who is respectful and doesn't mind a chat or quiet drink during the week.
I’m an Industrial designer, back in the city that I was born, with a lot I have to do. I’m well travelled, experienced and secure. I want to share in a desirable and hospitable place with a friendly flatmate (female), because your nicer, and more pleasant to live with. It should be a place you look forward coming home to, and comfortable and relaxing living in. You’ll find me pretty easy to get along with, I’m clean and tidy, and can be very considerate and helpful towards others. I’ll be respectful and understanding of your needs, space and quiet time. If this isn’t you, I wish you all the best in your future home.
Hi, I am Nadia. I'm from Indonesia, I just resigned from my job in the orangutans conservation NGO. And yes I used to go back and forth the deep jungle of Borneo and hangout with orangutans. I am moving to Brisbane on Dec 11th, I'm holding a Resident Return visa (my stepdad is Australian), so I might ask my future flatmates to visit the real Australian outback in Murgon for one weekend or something. I've been back and forth Australia-Indonesia for about 6-7 times, and now I am going to stay here for good. I am tidy but not a clean freak and I might be quite shy at first, but I will be more outgoing once you get to know me :D I love playing video games, painting, listening to music and enjoy going to music festivals or shows. I would love to have a gym buddy flatmates that can motivate me since I can be a slight couch-potato sometimes. When the weather is right, I love heading out to the beach for a lazy day (of course not in shark-infested water) and strolling/hiking (well I go to the jungle for a living). I love pets (anything really, from dogs, snakes, spiders and only nice cats (because most cats are satan's pawn)) I do drink socially, I like good sweet wine and cider. I don't smoke, but I am okay with smokers, I won't cough in your face on purpose. What I can offer: well-behaved roomie (I'm talking about myself here) with a good sense of humour who rarely gets offended and also a good listener. Gym buddy and a competitive gamer buddy (especially in guitar hero). I've climbed one of the highest peaks in Southeast Asia with its summit sitting at 13,435 feet (Mt. Kinabalu) and skydived in Toogoolawah, so I'm up for anything! Ideally, I would have liked to have found a place to stay by mid of December, either by a team-up or a room perfect for me to stay for 12 months+
