Hi I’m Madi! My current lease with my roommate finishes at the end of May in Windsor and we are looking at moving into a 3 bedroom house or townhouse that is close to the city. I work as a registered nurse at the RBWH and Lucy works full time in the city. We’re very easy going people who love our own space but also enjoy being social on the weekends. We’re looking for a third girl to move in with us :) We’re both very open to discuss which suburbs but ideally would like to be close to the city e.g. Milton, Spring Hill, Bowen Hills or East Brisbane. If this interests you please send me a message!
I'm one of those quiet, eccentric types with strong opinions. I try not to judge others harshly or take things too seriously - I'm very "live and let live" in a sense. I'm looking for a new house after splitting up (amicably) with my long-term partner and needing a change. After working full-time for 8 years I've been on paid leave from work since January, but after finding a new place to live I'm hoping to return to a 9-to-5 job. Anywho - I've always had my bond returned in full when leaving a property and I'm happy to provide proof of income. I tend to keep to myself, I'm very mindful of being noisy or inconveniencing others and I'm very neat and tidy ^_^ I'd want to move in from the first week of March for at least 6 months though ideally longer. I tend to keep to myself but am always happy to have a chat (preferably about something significant/meaningful, small talk is not my forté haha). Let me know if I sound like someone you could live with ^_^
Hello! My name is Toyo. I'm a Japanese international student studying at QUT. I am 35 years old, but most of my friends tell me 'you look around 26-27 years old! I'm currently looking for a sharehouse with good access to QUT and Southbank, which costs around 160 - 165 per week. This is because I go to the uni but also will join rehearsals of a choir (Brisbane chorale) at the south bank every Wednesday. Brief introduction: I am from one of the suburbs (Hino-shi) in Tokyo. Although I had worked as a system engineer at a Japanese company (Fujifilm) for 5 years in Japan, to develop business and language skills, I study abroad at UQ in Australia from 2014 to 2015. To reach the next goal in my career, I have just come back to Brisbane this year and started my PhD program (advertising) at QUT. My hobby is singing, especially classical singing (e.g., opera arias, Italian cultural songs). I was a choir member of Brisbane Chorale between 2014 and 2015, and I will join the choir later on. :) . I also like some pops songs like Billy Joel, Eagles, Elton John etc. I believe that I am responsible and not like a typical shy Japanese guy. I like to be socialised with people (but not too much haha) Thank you for reading this text by the end. ;) Looking forward to receiving your message. Best regards, Toyo
Bonjour! We are an Australian and French couple seeking 2 other people to team up with for a very nice house in West End, Highgate Hill or Milton. Shelby works at a yoga studio and Félix is a Freelance Digital Designer. We are down to earth, relaxed, respectful, positive and open minded, active (yoga, biking, skating, hiking), creative (art, photography, design), into music and gigs and also huge animal lovers. 🌱 We would really love to create a friendly vegan/veg share house with those that are more concerned and passionate about ethical and sustainable living.
Hi my name is Gabby and I'm 24 years old. I'm moving inter state from Wollongong up to Brisbane. I'll be working full time. I love dogs, food, exercising, using a keep cup and trashy T.V. I'm looking to live with like minded people who also work full time and enjoy relaxing after work or on the weekends and having a chat. I'm clean and tidy, but not the dishwasher needs to be emptied right now crazy. I enjoy a social wine and cooking for my roommates. I've lived out of home since I was 18 so I've had plenty of experience living with others
I am very easy going and clean. I like taking care of my space environment. Also, I am very mindful of my surroundings and respect whoever I live with.
Hey I'm Lauren, I'm 25 years old and I am just about to start studying occupational therapy at ACU. I currently work part time as an admin clerk and in my spare time I enjoy doing things outdoors, exercising, going to the beach, hanging out with friends and are always up for some social drinks. I am clean and tidy, always pay bills on time and respect peoples privacy and space. With this said, I want to live in a house that feels like a home where people don't act like strangers and hibernate in their rooms all day.
**** PENDING AGREEMENT **** G’day, My name is Emma and what makes me great to live with is that I’m very considerate of other people, love my own space and company, am extremely easygoing, don’t make a mess that I don’t also promptly clean up (the former happens very infrequently) and am so busy working in my full time job and part time business along with my hectic social life and busy family life I don’t have time to scratch myself. I am going overseas for two months at the end of August which is only reason that six months works for me as a living arrangement. In case you were wondering I love to cook (& of course eat), am a massive movie buff and love a quiet night in occasionally however my loved ones are hugely important to me and so I spend a lot of time seeing them. My move in date is the 1st of March as my lease expires then. I must have off street parking, would prefer my own bathroom and living with one other person is my preference in an apartment of some sort. My ideal housemate I would be a non-smoker who wishes to do everything above board as I do with the RTA that genuinely treats me with the same respect that I will always endeavour to treat them with. Please feel free to get in touch via either this website or my mobile as soon as you can as I would like something sorted out this week if possible? I look forward to meeting you and seeing your lovely home. Have a great day. Emma 😃
Heya, I'm Natalie. I'm a 23 year old recent law grad working full-time in a firm in the city. I'm friendly and easy going - always happy for a chat over a drink, but I do like time to myself so will definitely respect other people's time and space. I am looking for a modern place near the city (preferably near a train line). Feel free to message me if you think we would be a good fit or if you have any questions :)
I bring more than ten years of experience in sharing homes with other people - including babies and kids. I would describe myself as a calm & respectful yet open minded and communicative person with a need for my own time and space. Home to me means coziness, cooking (and sharing) vegan meals, tidiness and an open-minded atmosphere.
I've been living overseas for 5+ years, but ready to move back to brisbane now. I'm a freelance editor (books, articles, etc.) but I'll probably find other part-time work as well, as well as volunteer work (with the homeless) and various other things to do. I'm 28, non-smoker, non-annoying.
Hey! My name is Cameron, I'm 20, working full-time in Customer Support for a non-profit. Reasonably quiet, happy spending time by myself, but also wouldn't mind hanging out in the evenings/on the weekends. Looking for a place on the Northside with a friendly flatmate or two!
Hi I am a very clean and tidy respectful person and I always pay my rent on time. I am 50 years old and I am looking for a room to rent from a single person who is clean and tidy and easy going and friendly and respectful. I am a guy who likes to have a social drink. I am a disability pensioner and I have a good sense of humor and I'm animal friendly.
I am a easy going and pretty laid back sort of fella who gets on with anyone. I am very happy to go with the flow and looking for someone similar. I love a bit of banter (Simpsons references are always a winner) but i am also very happy to keep to myself. I currently work full time in the city for a small bank, so Mon-Friday I am usually out from 6am-6pm. I am pretty active bloke, who loves to go for a run, bike, play rugby and chill out on weekends and I try to head to the beach as much as possible. i love cooking/BBQing, reading a good book and of course any recent Netflix series (Brookyln 99 current favorite) I am looking for month to month if possible but I am happy to lock in for 3-4 months if its a great spot. Reason for this is I am looking to head overseas in August 2019. Cheers
Hi, I'm a 34yo professional that is looking to settle in Brisbane after spending 10 years in Western Australia and 3 years in Victoria. Looking for a place with friendly relaxed people and that is relatively close to the centre of Brisbane so that I can enjoy what this beautiful city has to offer. Although my work for this year is not at present fully locked in, it will likely involve some fieldwork and I would be away for potentially weeks at a time (I'm a geologist). I've spent a lot of my adult life in share houses so it's something that I prefer over living alone. I'm an ambivert....so happy to socialise but also do my own thing depending on what is going on. Although I am a lover of outdoor activities and adventure...I am starting to find myself mellowing in my old age and becoming a bit more of a homebody! I'm not looking for a party house but I can definitely get on board with a get-together or party from time to time. I can go for stretches focused on relaxation and fitness, and then periods where I am intensely focused on hobbies such as hiking/skiing/salsa dancing. I'm open minded and non-judgemental and I try to be positive and supportive of those around me. It's important that I find a chilled, drama-free household with not more than 1-2 other people. If I sound like a good match, please get in touch! Would love to meet you. Open to other suburbs not listed in my profile.
Hi! I am looking for a home in Brisbane to move into as soon as possible as I begin my dual degree of psychology and nutrition at UQ. Looking for a place that feels homey with housemates I'd call a friend. Let me know if you match the features I'm after 😊: • Walking, biking or under 30min public transport distance to UQ in St Lucia • With a large size room with lots of natural light, at least big enough for a double bed, bedside table, large desk, mirror, a few wardrobes and drawers. • With outdoor area/s like a yard, deck or spot that gets a decent amount of direct sun throughout the day. • Not lots of road noise • Decently spacious kitchen (to make you cake on your birthday 😉) About me: I'm positive and ambitious, and both a respectful and open person :) I'm very health conscious and make all my own meals which are wholefood plant-based- however I'm really not fussed on what anyone else eats. I love cooking for others 😁💖 I do aerial acrobatics and yoga, love nature and making friends. I'm passionate about eco-sustainability, nutrition, fitness, mental wellness and personal development. 😊😄😁💪🏼💗
