I am a postgraduate Digital Art student in ANU. I am an outgoing girl, but I need some personal time. I hope the accommodation which has a good traffic to ANU (bus or walk or bike within 30min) and the roommates who are tidy and easygoing, whatever male or female. My current tenantry term will finish on 30 Aug, but I 'd like to move before that date if I find my dream room. By the way, I love cooking and I have a Chinese chef certificate. If you want I can always cook dishes for you, HAHA.
Hi, I've just moved to Canberra for work from north-east Victoria. I work full time for Prime7 as a journo, and am easy going, neat and love a beer after work. I'm really not fussy when it comes to most things, and I like to think I'm very easy to live with.
20 year old young professional looking for somewhere new to call home, I’m tidy, like to be social with my roommates but also enjoy some privacy, I’m an environmentalist that puts a lot of time and energy into passion. Please contact me for if you want to know more 🙂
I am 20 years old working full time as an apprentice carpenter. I am trustworthy and just need a place to rest my head. I am neat and tidy and will always clean up after myself and do not make much noise.
My wife and me are very easy going, clean and quiet. We like making friends and like hearkening. As a PhD student major in agriculture, I am busy with crops, and my wife is preparing to apply for an offer of PhD study. (The moving date is flexible)
We are a friendly, mature and clean couple. We are both in the health industry. We are looking to move in on the 1st August, 2018. We are flexible and fun, but are quiet and respect privacy. We are looking for like minded people to share with.
We are Claire (27, full time scientist) and Chilli (7, full time couch potato) and our parents have finally sold up the house, so we are looking for somewhere to live...from September 2018. Claire has been renting/share-housing since 2014, and Chilli is newer to the game but did so in 2016. A simple description of of us is boring - so clean, tidy, early risers with nanna-bed times who enjoy walkies. Claire is your average human - talks, exercises out of necessity, watches TV (mostly ABC), likes board games and escape rooms, is a dishwasher stacker/unstacker enthusiast, a good cook and an average baker. Chilli is housetrained and all round “good boy” (kid, dog + cat friendly - with NSW Green Collar) whose special skills include sleeping, collecting (soft toys, the occasional cushion), smooching and reclaiming unsupervised food... We spend most weekends (Fri night-Sun) in Sydney with Luke (Claire's husband + Chilli's dad) - Chilli goes too, but we spend about 1 weekend a month in town - and it'd be cool if you'd be okay with the occasional visit by Luke. We would like an unfurnished room, and do have some additional furniture so happy to share or loose it. Flexible with anywhere in Canberra/Queanbeyan, commutable to Deakin. Preferably we’d like you to like indoor dogs because Chilli hates the outdoors. There is the possibility for Chilli to live with his dad + fur siblings....but we'd prefer to be together.
We are a quiet and tidy couple that enjoy having time to ourselves but don't mind hanging out with everyone else when we can. We have experience living in shared houses as a couple and know how to respect everyone's privacy, boundaries and belongings as well as how to properly clean up after ourselves and others if absolutely necessary. We both also enjoy gardening and are capable of keeping yards and gardens tidy.
I'm a single professional in real estate. I work 6 days a week and usually spend most of my (very minimal) spare time at the gym, cooking, or watching Parks and Rec/sleeping. I do enjoy a bev or two every now and then, and can be pretty social when I’m not exhausted from work. I have a bunch of furniture but am happy to store some if necessary, currently living alone and looking to save money. The main vice is that I do have an indoor cat who comes with me everywhere, she is pretty useless though and manages to cause no damage, thank god. She is fully litter trained and has embarrassing cat anxiety so is pretty happy curled up on my bed. If you hate cats, she will definitely avoid you. If you like cats, she's pretty much a hilarious alien so you'll vibe. Would prefer an ensuite but not necessary!! Open to roomies of all shapes, genders, sizes. But hopefully someone who enjoys a chat and some Netflix :) Thanks y'all
Hello! I'm Nikki, and I'm currently working full-time. I'm friendly, tidy, and enjoy socialising but also am respectful of people's space and privacy. I like going hiking and to gigs, but also vegging out.
Hello everyone, my name is Debora. I am an independent dance artist (teaching dance, choreography, performance, events) and I also work in hospitality part-time. I am living in Canberra since 2015 and I like it very much. I also like to travel around Australia or overseas to take dance courses and give workshops when possible. I have It/Au Citizenship and every few years I try to visit my family in Italy. I am a quite dynamic person but I also like to have some quite time on my one when at home (work, study, meditate..). I like nature and to go for walks when I have some time. I am allergic to cats and dogs. I am tidy. Nice to meet you!
I am a very respectful, quiet person and keep to myself most of the time but do like to have a chat. I have recently split from my partner of 4 and a half years so I am looking for a house to call home. I don't drink and don't smoke but do have a beautiful cat who is excellently trained and is very quiet herself. She has really bad anxiety so she will generally try to avoid you and spends most of her time on my bed. I love to cook and I am a very clean and tidy person. I am currently unemployed and am on Youth Allowance aswell as a Disability Pension but I always keep up to date with my bills. I love to sketch and I enjoy eating at small cafes and restaurants. :) most of my interest is towards my cat ! I'm looking for a room that is preferably furnished but am can arrange my own. Also looking for people that would like to team up! Thanks everyone! :)
I'm an 18 y.o girl originally from Perth. I’m currently studying a bachelor of commerce/bachelor of business administration at ANU and am looking for a student-friendly room to stay in. My contract for my current share apartment (of 11 people) is coming to an end and I am hoping to find a place that's a lot more welcoming than my current residence. I’m originally from a household of 7 where I am the eldest of 5 kids so I know what it’s like to share spaces and live with other people. I’m a neat and tidy person and I like to cook. I tend to get involved in community service events and enjoy playing community netball. I also work part-time and can ensure reliable rent payments. I don’t drink and I don’t smoke.
Hi there, I will move down to Canberra from Sydney for study and work in late Feb or early Mar. I am looking for one or two females/couple to share a flat with for at least 6 months or longer, but I am flexible with the length. I am an easy going and friendly person. I like to make friends, and wish we could become good friends to hang out and have a talk with. But I do respect others' privacy at the same time. I have experience of living with a family with little kid or females over 5 years, so I have learnt how to be considerate to housemates. I am also a quiet, clean, tidy and organised person. I would like to have a room with build-in wardrobe, ideally also is furnished (but I am flexible with that if the rent is a bit lower :P). I have a car, so off-street parking is necessary, of course garage is perfect! I do want the location of the house/flat has an easy access to public transport too, although lower frequency is acceptable. I look forward to hearing some good news from you guys! :)
We are both hard workers, easy going, clean/neat and reliable. We are both from Wagga Wagga, recently moved to Canberra and both full time working. Breanna is a full time chef at the Knox cafe made in Watson and Trai is a plumber, party bus driver and truck driver. We love our music and always up for a chat but also like to have our own space.
-easy going - good cook - friendly - banter
Hi there , so I'm looking for a place to move into with someone awesome and easy going ,I work some long hours at work so I am always pretty busy . Always up for a drink or to share a meal or two !
My names Chris :) I have been in Canberra since late November FIFO working for Qantas and have just signed over as a full time local, love living in Canberra just can't wait for summer already haha :) I'm very easy going, love talking and getting to know people but also enjoy my alone time to recharge. A good afternoon for me is coming home after work and having a glass of wine or anything tasty and a chat about what ever is on peoples minds. I work Monday-Friday 0700-1730 and most Saturdays 0700-1400. Love my time off, can either relax at home or go out for lunch, will never say no to going out for drinks or coffee :) Am known to disappear on some weekends for a road trip to the hunter valley! I'm pretty much a political neutral...I see things from both sides and enjoy hearing peoples opinions and ideas, feel like i have to say that as we're in Canberra and people seem to love talking about politics. I've traveled most of my life so have heaps of stories if you want to hear them. Love other peoples stories even more :) I can cook alright but don't claim to be a chef, like to experiment though and see what i can come up with :) If accepted i am able to move in immediately :) Hope to hear from you and see if i can fit in, if not i i hope you find the perfect fit :) If you like I can provide character references Oh and i love dogs of course! Dogs rule! Hope to find a great place to stay :)
We are group of friends from Indonesia. We like cleanliness and tidy environment. We never parties and we are most likely to study all the time so we won't have time for parties. If you think we are suited for your properties, just let me know. Thanks!
Easy going and open minded, down to earth with warped sense of humour. That's enough about me! Can live with all kinds of people, very tolerant. Tidy. My son visits me 7/14 f/n so you must like kids.
We are a married couple. I am a visiting scholar at ANU and my wife is an architect who is looking for a job position in Canberra. We are not wasteful. We are quite, tidy and easygoing. We don't have any kids or pets. Also, we are not smoky and alcoholic.
