Hi I'm Bec, I'm 23 years old and looking to move out into a share house now that I'm working full time. I've been working in quality control in the food industry full time for 10months and also work casually in hospitality. This keeps me quite busy so I'm often out of the house. In my free time I enjoy socialising with friends whether that's going out for dinner/drinks or going for walks of just hangout out at home. I also enjoy going to the gym and sailing. I'm a pretty tidy person and cleanliness is important to me although I'm not obsessive. I'd like to share a place with people that are friendly and are willing to have a chat and share a meal from time to time. I'm easygoing and looking forward to finding my future flat mates!
Thank you for taking the time. Please read the whole thing as I may say something of interest to you. Please see section titled 'flexibility'. I am very friendly, responsible, and keep things clean. I work as a researcher at Monash. I also work as a Designer. -------------------- Interests -------------------- Tennis, Golf, News, and Gym. -------------------- Nationality: Australian -------------------- -------------------- My schedule -------------------- I will usually leave by 8 AM, and come back to sleep after 8-9PM. I don't have much of a footprint. -------------------- Requirements for stay -------------------- 1. Very quiet 10 PM on wards - I need to sleep 2. Internet (Decent) 3. Clean and doesn't smell bad ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My proposal ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------------- Period of stay -------------------- I am on a flexible contract, which means that I may stay: 2 weeks (0.5 month) > UP TO > 12 weeks (3 months) - at this stage. It could be even longer if I get another contract. -------------------- Notice -------------------- I am given 3 days notice by Monash. I will try my best to give you up to 3-7 days notice. -------------------- Flexibility -------------------- In order to accommodate you, I am willing to accept 3-7 day notice. This will give you tremendous flexibility - to have someone rent your room so you can earn income from it as long as they are there, whilst you may seek someone for longer term should you desire it. When you find them, simply give me notice. -------------------- Budget -------------------- My budget is up to $175 per week incl. all. It depends on location, property condition, facilities, convenience to transport (train / tram / bus), people etc. -------------------- Payment -------------------- I will pay upfront each week to designated bank account. -------------------- Bond -------------------- I cannot pay bond for good reasons. Firstly, the risk of rent non-payment (as I will pay in advance) or damage does not exist. I will pay for it should the need arise or am obligated. My experience with landlords who take bond has been full of delays and issues. I am willing to sign a written agreement for mutual understanding and listing of any obligations. If it is still an issue even though it shouldn't be, then we can exchange IDs. -------------------- Move-in date -------------------- I can move in today/tommorow. I arrive in Melbourne today.
Im looking for a room in a sharehouse anywhere along bayside area :) Im 28, and working monday to friday in the city. I usually keep it pretty quiet during the week, besides work my weekdays mostly consist of naps, food, netflix and housework, and the weekends are usually my time to catch up with friends, try do mini roadtrips and beach it while the weather allows it, go out for a few drinks or check out pubs/gigs etc. Im a super easy-going housemate, Im tidy and clean, but dont mind having messy flatmates ( to a healthy extend ^^). Preferably I would live with people who are around my age ( mid 20s to mid 30s), who dont mind me hiding away in my room some days, but who are also up for the odd beer/pub/dinner catch up every now and then. wold love to live with a dog or pet in general ♥ Im currently paying rent monthly, my rent cycle starting on the 15th, so ideally I need someone who is somewhat flexible with moving in dates, since I cant find someone to take over my room until i've found a place. I do have bond and rent ready though, so happily pay that to secure :)
Down to earth people, love to cook (VEGAN), outdoors, reading, boardgames, social interaction with like minded people, respectful towards others ideologies. Looking for a very respectful and fair household living with grownups :) Not really into party or alcohol. Please message me with any other questions as we are looking to move in asap :) Both have jobs with 30+ hours a week. Very reliable with cleanliness, bills etc. Honestly think we would be a lovely couple to live with. :) <3
Hi we are Jasmin and Richard, quiet, friendly, a bit nerdy, easy-going people. We are 22, vegetarians and science students (I am working towards a phD, currently). We are not looking for a party house, but relaxed, kind room-mates. We are looking for one room in a place that is walking distance from a train station.
I generally stay in my room but am always down for a board game, movie, chat over a beverage or snack. I study software development at Holmesglen and work at Coles. I play video games and take photos casually.
I am in my mid twenties from Ireland. Working full time as a Greenkeeper Monday to Friday, no unsociable hours. Like to keep clean and tidy. I am easy going, laid back person, respect privacy of others and a non smoker. I like keeping busy by being out and about. But like to come home and relax in a quiet, chilled atmosphere. Would enjoy an evening with my housemate, having a chat and a beer or two. But also respect them and their space. Have been living in Melbourne over a year now. Have lived in shared houses in Ireland, America, New Zealand, Melbourne can provide references. Looking for a place preferably in Hampton, Elwood, Elsternwick, Prahran, Windsor or surrounding suburbs. Looking for a clean place, dont mind sharing with a couple, would like a furnished room if possible. Available to move anytime, preferably as soon as possible.
Hey a little bit about us,we are a couple in our mid 20s from NZ. We are very outgoing, and really chilled, We are clean and tidy, enjoy dinners and drinks with friends. But at the same time happy to stay home and have a movie night. We love sports/outdoor activities and travelling. We both work full time, Construction & Admin/Beauty. We also have a small friendly dog that we could never part with, we would love to find a place that will consider her too. Length of stay 6-12months.
Hello :) Happy, easy-going guy who works two jobs, TV background actor & in Crown Casino Melbourne . I'm looking for a flatmate who I can share a home with, not just for the sake of place/accommodation to live in. I'm reliable, mature, organised and responsible, seeking the same for my future housemates . I have no preference of whom I shall share with as long as we get along just fine :) Look forward to hear from you! Cheers!
I'm a clean, neat person who is quiet to live with. I'm not usually home much as I love getting out and exercising, seeing friends, and going out to the countryside. Anything that doesn't make a lot of dishes is my favourite meal to cook at home. I work mainly in evenings, and spend my days out and about getting things done when not at tafe.
Hey Hey! My name's Brendan, and I have had the absolute WORST luck with accommodation / housemates / landlords, but I won't let that stop me from finding a great place to live. I am very clean and organised, but am also a very relaxed kind of guy. I work as a bartender, and also make some money creating content online! Between these, I am also the vocalist for an alt rock band :) I think I'm a pretty relaxed person to be around, not a strain to live with or rent to, and am always happy to make compromises and work around others.
I'm a student from Perth doing a 2 year course near Moorabbin, originally from Singapore but have been living in Perth for the last 8 years. I am pretty busy with my full-time classes Monday-Friday, but in my free time I like to kick back with a few casual drinks and Netflix or gaming on my PS4. I'm not a party animal, but do enjoy checking out good eating spots and live jazz or blues bars. I'm hoping to find accommodation in a small apartment or house with females. Looking for a quiet space, therefore 1-2 flatmates would be ideal.
Hi, I'm Marla, I'm a science student and a trans woman. I love to cook (and I'm not too bad at it) and I think good communication is the best thing in a house. Whether housemates are social or private, neat or messy, making sure we can communicate clearly and openly about the house means things can always be settled and run smoothly without any bitterness, stress or inconvenience. When I'm not studying, I like women's sports, card games and watching shows with friends.
Need a place to move into ASAP around Oakleigh, Bentleigh East, Malvern, Clayton, Clarinda, Moorabbin areas. MUST BE CLEAN, RESPECTFUL HOUSEMATES I am fun and bubbly, I love meeting new people and socializing. I am passionate about photography and good food, I love to be active, I love exercising as it fills me with the sense of achievement when I reach specific goals I set for myself, I spend alot of time at the gym training. I love to make people feel good, as it makes me feel equally good to see someone smile. I am a clean freak and I love everything to be tidy so I need to be living with people who will be respectful of communal areas and keep them clean and tidy. I don't like partying, I don't drink and I don't smoke. I love going out for breakfast, catching up on tv shows when I have time, cooking and of course eating, doughnuts are my weakness. I am a full time worker on a contract so payments won't be an issue. I will also need parking as I have my own car and I also have my own double bed.
Hello, my name is Kai. I am a Chinese male coming from the lovely country of Malaysia. Hello, I'm Travis! I'm back on Flatmates after plans to move out with friends fell through, so I'm trying again! I'm currently studying in Moorabbin, hoping to move out of my current place in Karingal. I'm not enjoying where I live, my housemates & I aren't really the best fit and I'm trying to be positive through it all, as best as I can! I'm a very clean and tidy person, and I'll always lend a hand with anything at a moments notice! Also, I've been brought up spiritually, if that's something you're into as well! Learning the ways on the side in my free time (: Please don't let my unemployment status deter you! I handle my money well and am always able to pay my bills! Thanks for reading, have a great day!
I am a clean, happy, positive, active person that is looking for a room to rent. I have a friendly dog and my own transport. I have lived on the Peninsula all my life and have some casual work. I love walks on the beach with my dog and spending time with my family.

If you're looking for an incredible house mate who is friendly, respectful and extremely clean then look no further! I've lived out of home since I was 14 in LA, Queensland and Melbourne so I know the deal. I work full time in Brighton, clean and pay rent on time! I do my own thing but occasionally may enjoy a shared meal or movie! Message me if you have a room available and if you think we would be a great fit :)
Hi guys, we're a couple looking for somewhere that's nice and tidy to build up a rental history. We're respectful and reliable people, clean and tidy, and we love the outdoors and a good feed. We're fun and bubbly people and we both play football (afl) so if you like your footy than that's perfect! I currently live on the Mornington peninsula and tori lives in Caulfield. We want somewhere in between
I am a stonemason, recently returned to Melbourne from Brisbane. I consider myself to easy going, friendly and open minded. I like meeting new people, and enjoy a laugh. I work full time, monday to friday, but I live for the weekend. I like to keep a neat and tidy house, and prefer housemates to be the same. I pay my bills on time and respect my housemates privacy. Ideally, I like a quiet, social, and friendly home environment.
I am in my mid twenties, work in the food industry, play womens soccer, sail and love eating and cooking. I like to be clean and have shared areas tidy but don't expect my room to be perfect if you live with me. I love a good drink and a boogie, but also a quiet night by the telly or hanging out with close friends.
Hi. I'm Verena from Jakarta currently living in Clayton. Soon to be a patisserie student at LCB Holmesglen Moorabbin I'm friendly, easy going, also clean and tidy. Im an awesome cook, have a beautiful dog who loves everyone and everything, i enjoy gardening and lawn maintenance, im handy at fixing things -or giving it a go anyway! I want to make somewhere home..i want to feel comfortable to walk around in jocks and socks on a sunday after a night out. I want to know that i am not judged and what happens in or anything regarding the occupants is private. I want to make long term friends who can be honest and open and communicate any issues. I want to know my room and infact the house wont get ransacked or robbed by some idiot someones carelessness let in. I want to have my own separate life but also to share a meal or go out for a drink. I need to know my dog will be respected and not mistreated in my absence..finally i just want to find a home where people can live and let live without judgements, bickering or bitching. Where we create our own little brotherhood/sisterhood/wateva u wish to call it, where we look out for one another, we are considerate of each other, we give the respect we want and deserve and honour the privacy and dignity we need. Im Riley..i dont mind if youre gat, straight,bi,high, cross dress in secret, in the middle of a sex change..whateva floats your boat is just fine by me. Just be yourself and please allow me to just be me
Hey guys! We're a young couple looking to move out of our current accomodation to somewhere a little closer to our respective schools, and where we can bring our furkid-family members with us! Gemma is a 19 year old psychology student at Monash University in her second year, and works part time as a sales assistance and puppy school instructor in the pet industry! (Which means her amazing pet product bargains are yours too! 😉) Brad is a student at Holmesglen TAFE studying his first year of Networking, is a whiz at all things technical, and would be happy to deal with any totally annoying technical failures with WiFi or your computer if a housemate ever needed a hand! Together we're hoping to bring our two furry friends - Gemma's greyhound, Bellatrix, who I assure you will have you weak in the knees within seconds, and Brad's indoor cat, Mia, who is a little princess. 🐱 (Gemma is also hoping to apply all her certified dog training skills into bringing a new puppy into the mix sometime in the near future.) We are not too picky on our new home other than friendly, fun, and carefree housemates who are happy to have a quiet night in (maybe watching horror movies, if they're up to it!) but also respect each others privacy and keep a comfortable home environment. A backyard is also pretty essential and whilst it doesn't have to be huge, you might get a bit tangled in Bellatrix's zoomies if it's small! 😸 *Our moving timeframe is from late March/early April. ☺️ *We'd also be interested in teaming up with someone who had already found/had a house and was just looking for roommates to split the rent and the fun with them! If you feel like you might have something that suits, please get into contact with us! We can't wait to hear from our new housemates. ☺️
Im interested in moving to the bayside area in Melbourne. Im a 26 yr old female and have a lot of experience in housekeeping so doing the chores is not a problem for me. Looking to share a house with people around my age who are social and laid-back whilst still tidy, respectable and understand the importance of privacy, or as I like to call it; 'me time'. Outside of 'me time' I'd love to form friendships within the house where I can comfortably hold a conversation, share a drink (whether it be tea or a few beers) and binge out to Netflix. I'd also love a gym buddy who can seriously motivate me! I work part-time and will be studying a double degree at ACU as off late Feb. Please don't hesitate to shoot me a message if you think we'd be good housemates as I'd love to be moved and settled in before uni begins :) - I also just want to clear up that I may want to bring friends over from time to time but can assure you they will be on their best behavior! -
