Clean and considerate housemate. Happy to socialise but also happy to entertain myself. Not a smoker. Enjoy a beer after a long day at work sometimes. Not a big partying person. Like to exercise and explore new places. New to Darwin.
I am experienced in living with other people... I know how to take my private time and to give space to others but I also like to spent time together... I will be researching for my storytelling since I am a storyteller from Germany dreaming about this trip for some years already... I will be staying for 2,5 months in total and just arrived on 6th July... I love cooking, organic, clean, dancing, dreaming of a better world and about the present, singing,.... nature... I am 32 party time is over, though I like to dance and enjoy music... I got my little matress and duvet... that is all I need...
I’ve moved up to Darwin in April and would like to move in with someone when my current lease finishes in November for ~6 months. I am looking to live in a modern and ideally fully furnished property with a car port. I work full-time as a Dietitan. I am clean, respectful and have a warm personality - I am new to the area so would ideally like to meet people & make some new friends. I love low-key nights and the occasional big one when I'm in the mood. I enjoy cooking, reading, bingeing TV shows, going for runs/walks, gym & yoga! I'd like to live with a female housemate that works full-time like in health care or a professional and would keen to hang/chill out. If this sounds like you please drop me a message - would love to meet and see if we’d be suitable roomies! Naina :)
Hello! I am an easy going lover of camping, plants, cooking, home making, music, art and crafts. I am excitedly moving up to Darwin from Victoria to study conservation and land management. Can't wait to get out and explore what the NT has to offer! I would love to share with someone who has similar interests and likes to get outdoors and explore every now and then and keeps things relatively neat and tidy. Please get in touch if you think I would be a good fit :D
I am a quiet 21 year old from Adelaide, moving up to the NT to escape the cold weather and begin my next chapter in nursing. Currently studying a degree in registered nursing, whilst working as an enrolled nurse. I plan on making the big move as soon as I have a successful job application at one of the local hospitals, bringing only my suitcase and dog. My dogs name is Pippa, she is a miniature dachshund, she will absolutely love you. I'm no party animal, but won't say no to a wine or beer with my flatmates at the end of the long work week. I love to cook, always happy to share meals. If I'm not at work or studying, I'll usually be at the gym or out exploring the beauties of the NT. Big on adventure, seeking freedom from from the mainstream lifestyle of consumerism.
I'm currently completing my masters degree at CDU, after having moved from Brisbane. Easy going and reasonably clean, and quiet. Is quite busy with Uni most days. Preferably looking for a place with ensuite or own bathroom that is not too far from Nakara area, CDU casuarina. Have own vehicle so will also be good if there is parking available. If you message me I'll get back ASAP. thank you.
Hey, I'm Jay. I've been living in Darwin for 6 months and working full-time as a botanist with the Government. I'm an easy going and social person but also like time to myself. When I'm not at work I enjoy playing sport, photography and camping. Always keen for social drinks and good chats. Looking for a friendly but not rowdy house that's tidy.
Hey guys, We're a couple from Melbourne and have driven up to Darwin for work, better weather and a bit of adventure. We'll be living in Darwin for at least 6 months, potentially more, and we're looking for a fun-loving group of people to live with. We're pretty easy going, enjoy a beer and getting outdoors. We've sadly left 2 Staffy's at home, so we'd love a house with dogleys! Jess- I'm a paramedic and a nurse. I love camping, picnics, coffee dates and ice cream. Joel- He's a psych nurse, but will be working 9-5. He's scared of spiders, snakes, sharks and everything else Australian and will probably kick my arse when he reads this, haha. He loves his AFL and follows Hawthorn. He's a die-hard beer fan, digs vinyl, skating and animals (except for the scary Australian ones). We understand the share-house etiquette, we are self sufficient, will respect your space and always light a match ;) Give us a call or shoot us a message with any questions
Hello future roomie, I'm a considerate, fun loving nurse ready to make a move to Darwin. I have a small pug named Rae who would be accompanying me (he is house trained). I'm tidy, won't go through your underwear draw when you're not home and fairly easy going.
I can cook, clean and I love animals. I am a student who is doing placement at a Clinic in Darwin to help finish off my Cert IV in ATSI Primary Health Care. I am clean, non smoker and I make wicked desserts. I am also a geek when it comes to the Marvel Universe, Harry Potter and I love to read. I am flexible with almost anything.
Hey Y'all, I'm looking for a unit/room until the end of the year (Govt contract) for me and my two (very friendly) cats. Flexible on area/set-up/no of flatmates. Happy to take a 6month lease also. I'm clean and considerate, love music, social but I don't really party. Cheers, Matt
Hi, I'm Nikki. I'm 30 and am about to move to Darwin from Melbourne for work (I work in an advocacy role in youth justice). In my spare time I like to get out into nature as much as possible, spend time with friends, move my body (swimming, footy), practice yoga, make time to be creative and read. I'm looking for a communally-minded home, where people enjoy good conversation, a laugh, a meal together (while respecting each others' space when needed). As a housemate I am friendly, open, respectful and clean:) Hope to hear from you!
Hi there! My name is Cecilia and I'm heading to the top end for 5 weeks to work full time in law. I'm from Sydney and living in a sharehouse currently. I'm clean and respectful of the common space, but also up for activities and sharing a bottle of wine. I love the outdoors and enjoy rock climbing, running and boardgames. If you have a room and a household that you think would suit, let me know! I'm interested in joining an existing sharehouse or taking a spare room in someone's home.
Hello! :) I've recently moved up from Sydney and looking for short-term furnished accom until I figure out where I'd like to plonk long term (and I'm happy to take tips!). I'd like to try a few different suburbs for 2-ish week periods while you may be looking for your perfect flatmate so I could fill in that gap for you too. I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker(s), sorry I can't stand the smell. Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D I don't have any furniture but do love reading though so need a place to put some books and also a pushie as that's currently my only mode of transport....speaking of, I need to be within a short (30min) ride to the airport as that is where I work but I don't particularly want to live right across the road. So about me; I'm a considerate shiftworker, easy-going, open-minded, blunt, honest and active. If I'm pissing you off, I'm more than happy for you to tell me so as I prefer to be up-front. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm a keen recycler, eat mostly veges but I love the smell of a barbie on any given day! I'm super CLEAN, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. I've lived with others on and off for over 20yrs (Sydney real estate!), my last flatmate for almost 7 of those. My partner lives in Katherine so I will be away every now and then to visit but would also appreciate him being able to stay occasionally too. (He is an ex chef so this could also work in your favour as he doesn't have a kitchen where he is...) :) Being ex-hospitality and a female into sports I have many LGB friends. I am also well travelled so respectful of all communities and cultures (growing up in Sydney may also have something to do with both of those). I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if you have any advice on things to see, do, eat or experience for a newcomer to Darwin, throw me your suggestions! I am keen to get fitter (biking to work is helping!), love classic Aussie rock (Midnight Oil, Hunters, Hoodoos, Divinyls etc), drink a lot of tea, enjoy playing and watching sport and like to learn new things. Hopefully something there grabs you enough to think I'd be a good fit in your home or at least curious enough to contact for a cuppa and chat. I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Jane. :)
Hey, I am a 27 and have just moved up to Darwin from Melbourne. I'll be working at the RDH as a nurse. I am currently crashing at a friends place and looking for a friendly share house to call my own. I love spending time with friends, going camping (already went to kakadu in my first week here!), trying different foods and more. Looking for a share house in which the housemates become more like friends and share some meals and a few drinks together sometimes (I love cooking, Asian food is my specialty). I won't bring the party home but enjoy a couple of beers after work. I do shift work so would be working a few evenings a week too. Need to move out by 1st august, furnished room preferred but not necessary, must have aircon in bedroom and living room as I'm a southerner. Please ask me anything else you would like to know, I am very friendly and flexible.
Hi There! My name is Joel, 29 years, from Amsterdam/Netherlands. Im here in Darwin for 6 weeks already and planning to stay another month or 2. I work two jobs at the moment, one in a bar were i normally have late shifts and one parttime construction job. I like to have a drink in the weekends or after a long day of work but i can also enjoy a chill night with some good food and friends. Although i dont always have the time for it i try to workout 2/3 times a week by jogging or do some other exercises. I respect someone's privacy when needed but i also like a good conversation.
