Hi! I'm Kim, I'm 31 and work full-time Monday - Friday. I've travelled and lived in London for a couple of years but now looking to settle back in Brisbane. I'm a friendly, social, clean, tidy and considerate housemate and am looking for the same. I also have a pet cockatiel who has a bit of a quirky personality and spends a lot of time out of his cage (and sitting on my shoulder) while I'm at home. It takes him a little while to warm to people but once he does, he'll sing you a tune or he might even request a head scratch if you're really lucky. I can have weeks where you'll hardly see me but equally enjoy chilling at home watching Netflix with a cup of tea and my bird. I appreciate my own space at times and will respect yours but in saying that, I hope that we can hang out occasionally. I'm pretty easy to get along with. I enjoy visiting new parts of the world (30 countries so far and counting), seeing live music, road trips and nature walks/hikes, rugby league and finding new places to eat out. I'm also a vegetarian and not preachy about it but let's be honest, I probably won't find your bacon jokes funny - just saying! I like to keep my living space clean and tidy and am looking for housemates who are the same. Sharing in the housework is a must or if you are happy to split costs for a cleaner for the common areas, that's cool too! If you think we'd be a good fit, get in touch!
I keep to myself most of the time but am quite friendly and easy to get along with. I work full-time and also work on music in my downtime (as well as catching up with my boyfriend) so I'm constantly busy and probably spend only half the time any given week staying at home. I'm quite capable of cleaning up after myself and eager to help whenever possible with anything that needs to be done around the house. I am looking to move into a new place at the end of August ideally. Budget is max $220 per week including bills.
I'm very much left-of-centre and would be an ideal flatmate for anybody a little out of the ordinary. Geeky, generally handy at random stuff, good in the kitchen, and fully house-broken. I work for an online retailer based in Capalaba (I can definitely hook you up with some A/V cable bargains!), and also at a retro games arcade. I mentioned geeky: I do Nerf wars, LARP, obsess over vintage woodworking tools and old fabric, like a good co-op multiplayer game, board games, RPGs... I'll probably pick something else up before too long. Non-smoker, very moderate drinker and would prefer the same (especially smoking, ick). It's not that I'm judgmental , I just don't want to have to wear a gasmask around the house while I navigate piles of empties. I'm absolutely cool if you have pets. I'm more of a cat person, but who doesn't like doggos? Listed move date is the absolute latest; I'd prefer sooner. Minimum 6 months tenancy, longer preferred. * After talking to a few people on here, it's best I state my preference is for a granny flat or sharehouse with some workable shed/garage space for hobby activities * Cheers!
I’m looking for a place in these areas (listed on my profile) so I can be close to work. I work over at a marina and work the Monday to Friday gig and I’m really enjoying it. Occasionally, maybe, sometimes I’ll work weekends and late in the evening. Ideally looking for share with only one to two people. Sorry, I don't do large multiples of people. I've done share houses before and lived on large boats for the last 9 years. Just one to two housemates extra is ideal. Neat and tidy, contributing to household duties such as vacuuming and having a clean bathroom. I even make my bed every morning! Just a teeny tiny bit ocd. Hahaha. I like to eat out most of the time but I like to laze about on weekends and chill out. I appreciate a home that's tidy, well looked after and relaxing. I don't smoke and not a house party type. I like to treat a home as a sanctuary and place to relax.
Hey there ! Just scored a full time job in Brisbane and needing to move ASAP ! I’m from the sunny coast, very laid back, friendly and easy to get along with :) Just got back from Canada 🇨🇦 so I’ve lived with a lot of people in 1 house in the smallest of places haha I’m very relaxed and very respectful of others. Also love been social so I’m always up for a chat ! But don’t worry I won’t bother you if you just want to chill after a long day at work !
just looking for somewhere to stay for a bit before I move away. I have recent rental history that I can provide also. Im not a big party goer, I like to chill at home and do things around the house and maybe go out on a hike or to the beach on weekends. I also have a small dog but she is very friendly and loves attention. I am also willing to pay a little extra for her for any damages done while I am there. I’ll be your best roommate because i’ll keep everything clean without asking and Im always up for a good chat.
Looking at moving out of home. I will be bringing a large lovable doggo with me, who is playful and loves people. I take full responsibility for her and her business so would just need someone who likes animals and is down to give a few pats every now and then. I am currently a full-time uni student but do work part-time. I know how to pull my weight with cleaning but also require the same respect for shared workloads when it comes to the housework. Ill keep to myself but i'm always down for a drink and a laugh.
27 and working full-time as a cabinet maker. I'm super easy going and friendly, good to have a chat and a drink with, but also like my personal space and know when to give others there's, I'm very tidy and have a good sense of humour. I also have a little kitten that will be coming with me.
Looking for a house that I can call home. I have two large but well behaved dogs that love cuddles. I'm 24 and working in admin. Looking at starting a house or moving into a sharehouse. I'm pretty chill. I like wine and video games. I enjoy my own space but love getting home to friendly humans. Moving date in September.
I'm: humouros social neat relaxed not smoking looking for action/adventure a hobby photographer interested in sport I like going out I like almost every music genre I’m looking for a cool share house with nice people in the age of 18-25. I'm from Germany, the beer nation itself
I'm a hard-working student but I love a good social board game/card night with friends. I'm always at the food markets and I love all things creative/fashion, but I do enjoy my own time as well. I'm respectful, clean and will bring no hassles with me.
I am a corporate, executive female who is VERY clean. I have just been given ‘custody’ of my two furbabies so I’m moving out of a unit and into a house as one of them is a little white Maltese, but the other is a very gentle (but quite large) Rottweiler so I need a fully fenced and decent sized yard. Used to own my own property and never had a problem with roommates or rental references. I love having a wine on the weekends and am not difficult to live with. I look forward to hearing from you 😊
Hello, my name is Arthur. I am an international student who will be commencing studies in Brisbane, in July 2018. I am also a full time employee (overseas) who will be undertaking the 2 year study as part of my training and employment requirement. I keep myself neat and tidy and am always respectful of others space. I'm pretty quiet but very easy to get along with. Always in control of everything bills wise and like to be organised. You will find me busy during weekdays with studies and all but should have a little free time during the weekends to chill out. I prefer bills and internet to be included in the rent. En-suite room is preferred with enough space for a study table. I will be in Brisbane by early June 2018, hence I am looking for accommodation that will be available by then. Message me if you need more information. Thank you.
We are a german and a Scottish couple, working on fisherman islands and need a place to stay together. We are friendly, clean and working all day. We plan to stay 2 to 3 month minimum. If someone can help or has any suggestions, please contact me! Thank you very much Sarah
Hi All, I am looking for a room to rent, Preferably around Morningside area, Brisbane :) I am looking for minimum 6 months. I work full time, love being social and heading out with friends, always up for a chat! however I do appreciate my own space and that of others :)
My name is Linda Lozano, I am a 24 years old from Colombia. I am very easygoing, respectful and very clean and tidy. I like to go out, enjoy and try different restaurants. I go to cultural events in the city to become a part of the Australian culture.
I'm a professional working full time, not a messy person, and won't leave the kitchen in a unkempt state (who likes cooking in a dirty kitchen?). I clean up after myself and am more than happy to be a friendly, social roommate, however like everyone I do enjoy private time. I also keep a fairly active lifestyle (running, cycling, rock climbing, etc). Most of the time, anyway :) Ideally I need at least room for a desk with a PC and books etc., on top of regular storage. I also have a car, motorbike and two bikes (pedal power) that will need to go somewhere relatively safe. I'm looking preferably for somewhere with more than one bathroom, and if there's undercover parking or space for my car (and/or motorbike) that's a big incentive for me!!! I have my own bedroom furniture so an unfurnished room is best. Message me if you think you may have something for me to consider, or if you want to team up to find a place.
A bit about us...Tj recently finished his studies enginering degree and post graduate diploma in work place health and safety and is currently working part-time as a disability support officer while looking for a fulltiime job in his study area. I am in my final year of studies at UQ. We are both Zimbabwean (well Tj is now an Aussey citizen and I'm an internatonal student).I work casually as a waitress as well as a domestic cleaner. We are both great cooks and love learning new cultures
Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m currently a full time employee in the Finance industry, looking for a friendly like-minded share house around the CBD. I myself am very tidy and currently live in the bayside of brisbane in a share house. In my spare time I love to keep busy and you will most likely find me by the beach! I’m happy to keep to myself but don't mind a chat as I am friendly and respectful, but understand personal space and boundaries, and after living in a few share houses know common sense when it comes to cleaning and other people's belongings. I don’t smoke and only occasionally have a few drinks but not a major party person. If there's anything else you would like to know just ask!
I'm a clean guy, I work full-time so I'm usually only around in the evenings during the week, and I'm often away over the weekends, so I'm low maintenance as a roommate. I like to have a drink and a chat and hang out when people are available, but also more than happy to keep to myself when company isn't needed. I don't make a lot of noise, and I consider myself very mature when it comes to sharing space. I've worked and lived in several countries, and I am very open-minded and accepting of other people, regardless of background or culture.
I am a quiet busy 34 year old female full time visual merchandiser. I have a black lab/kelpie called Milo. I play drums on an electric drum kit with headphones so you cant hear them. I study online to become a councellor in the evenings after going to the boxing gym or walking my dog. I keep to myself and prefer as much privacy as possible. Im a non smoker and I'm not a party girl. I just require a quiet peaceful place for my dog and I to live.
Hi im Jay, im very relaxed and easy going, clean, I like having social drinks with roomates but my big nights are done with, i do watch abit of live music and play guitar (electric so its quite) in the afternoons to relax, i usually keep it pretty quiet durng the week just run or ride alittle, on the weekend i try and be out as much as possible and i mountain bike most weekends. More than happy to live with pets. Im a electrician and work fulltime and some weekends. I have just moved over from WA to work as a full time nanny for three beautiful children and am looking for a place to stay. Although I am 18 I am very mature and like being social but am not into the party scene. I am wanting to join a yoga class and am very active so would love a running/yoga buddy if you are sporty. I would love to meet new people as I have very few connections over here and do not meet many adults regularly due to my work. I have a German Shepherd that I had to leave over in WA so if you have dogs that is a plus but I am flexible. I am very neat and respectful of others I live with.
Hi! I'm 22 years old and a working full time. I am looking to move out in the next couple of months and would love to live with some fun, easy going people. At the moment, I don't have any pets but am wanting to get a dog so if that works with you, that is ideal!
Hello! I am a 37 year old female looking for a lovely, drama-free place to live in Brisbane, by the end of September! (Please note, I cannot move until my lease expires in September. Cheers) I would prefer to share with like minded people who are between 35-45 years old, and enjoy a peaceful life! I currently work in retail, and I am also an Art Therapist. I enjoy creative endeavours and gardening, so some space for these pleasures would be essential to my survival! I have spiritual/new age interests which makes for a meaningful, quirky and fun life at times. I also enjoy bushwalking, op shopping, camping and kayaking. I would like to have my own cat. This is very important and I cannot stress this enough. LOL. A pet friendly place please! (Please note: I'm not looking for a tiny cupboard-sized room or a converted sunroom.... its just not my thing. Cheers) I think I am good to live with because I am considerate, respectful and self aware; funny, friendly but I also like my alone time; I always pay rent on time. I am quiet, but not anti social, and like a harmonious living environment. Not sure what else to say! My current lease ends at the end of September, so lets get on with it! Hope to meet you soon! *Genuine responses only, and please have a current listing of your place/space for me to peruse*
Hey guys! My friend Kristy and I are interested in teaming up with preferable 2/3 males or a super chill female. Really looking to rent out a pretty nice house. If theres 4 people we could do around an $800 home, (around $200 pw each) or even 5 people on a rental around $1000. We own communal furniture, so for anyone who doesn't have any we do. However, if you do have, please feel free to bring it along. Both of us are looking to just find a super nice house, were both very easy going and love to have fun on our weekends as we work full-time throughout the weekdays. Feel free to check out our Instagram or Facebook pages, just send through a message. Looking to move mid October, just thought the add is a good way to get to know each other first. Hope to hear from you xx
I have a out going open personality. I am happy to help if there is things around the place that need fixing if I can fix it. I love cooking as I am a chef and diff spices and recipes are my strength. I do keep to myself when it comes to gaming on the Xbox ark is my other addiction but also keep my room tidy and clean good old Ajax spray and wipe
Hi guys, I'm looking for someone or some people to team up in the area I've listed. I currently rent a one bedroom apartment so I have most of the furniture and prefer to utilise it instead of putting it in storage. Happy to share all my things. Working full-time in property so I work on Saturdays also. In my spare time I enjoy spending it with my friends and family, going to the gym, and catch a few episodes of my favourite shows on Netflix. Looking for people who are down to Earth and with similar values. People who I'll be friends with and not just a housemate. Feel free to ask me any questions. Would love to catch up for a coffee to see if we click. Thanks for checking my profile out. Andy
G'day guys, I'm a 31 year old single Australian non-smoker, working full-time in the digital team at Flight Centre. When I'm not destroying my liver at work's rooftop bar, I spend most of my weekends out and about exploring what nature has to offer! Love surfing, camping, and generally anything that'll add a glow to my English inherited skin tone. That said, the odd TV series binge isn't out of the question. Down? Most people would describe me as very cruisey, and always up for a laugh. My humour would be best described as a mix between The Betoota Advocate and Happy Gilmore. Should also probably mention that I'm a tragic Broncos fan and I cried after the 2015 grand final. Very clean and dependable. Generally looking to move into somewhere with a social vibe. Cheers, Matt
I work full-time during the week and have an active social life on the weekends. When I am home I'll be relaxing watching footy. I'm easy to get along with and always down for a chat after work. Looking to live with people that have a laugh and are like a family.
