Hi everyone! So I'll start of with the things that make me a great housemate - I'm really laid back, enjoy a chat and a laugh, and enjoy being social when at home (I'm not the kind of person who'll hide in my room!) I am currently completing post graduate study full time (Psychology, at UWA), and working part time as a relief teacher (Secondary Science). I'm not much of a party animal any more, so I'm not the kind of gal who's going to be hosting rowdy parties or coming home at 4am in the morning and waking you up. These days I spend most of my time studying, working, and catching up with friends when time permits. Now the not so good stuff - I'm a clean freak. Not quite 'Monica' from Friends level, but pretty close. Yes, this makes me an ideal housemate in that I'm super tidy and clean up after myself, but it means I need to live with like minded housemates. If you don't think wiping down the kitchen bench after you've finished in the kitchen is is a must every time, then we're probably not going to get along too well! I am in no hurry to move, I am looking for the right place with the right flatmates that I can call home for at least the next year or two. I'd also be interested in teaming up with the right person/people and renting something together. Cheers, Jo.
I am an American PhD student in Archaeology studying at the University of Western Australia. I am coming back to Perth after a 2 year stay in Germany to finish my PhD, so I will be working quite a lot during my stay. I'd prefer somewhere quiet but in a nice neighborhood where it is easy to get around as I will not have a car. I'm open to live with both men and women but please no crazy party houses. That being said, I do enjoy a beer or glass of wine while watching a movie or evening chat and I sometimes go out on the weekends but I prefer to have a clean and comfortable place to live. I enjoy cooking and wouldn't mind setting up a share-dinner thing, I also like gardening, yoga, movies, going to live music events, board games, wine-tasting, and meeting new people. I'm generally easy going and communicative with my flatmates. I don't need the house to be sparkling clean every day but I like to keep things tidy and maybe do a deeper clean on the weekends. At the end of the day, I would just like a nice, please, friendly place to live with nice drama-free people. I should add that at some point my partner might come and stay with me for an extended period (ca. 1 month), since I will be away for ca. 6 months in Perth. We are happy to pay more rent if that is required. He is also an archaeologist and is from Norway. We are pretty similar (he prefers a clean place, semi-quiet but definitely not anti-social), I think your only issue might be that we're nerds and will talk about our joint profession a lot. That being said, if you want to learn more about archaeology, look no further!
Moving to Perth sometime in July-early August. PhD student at UWA, from the US. Looking for a place not too far (within biking distance) from campus. I am a quiet, respectful guy looking to share a place with friendly, down-to-earth people. I study contemporary philosophy and write about media, drugs, and art. I am a musician and would like flatmates who wouldn't mind me playing my guitar or viola, on occasion. I am queer. It would be great to live with people who are creative, arts/music-inclined, etc. I like to read, watch films, and occasionally play video games. I also don't really eat meat (but can get along with people who do).
Hey, I'm Nick. I'm from Brazil, but I've lived here most of my life. I work as an exploration geologist, and I'm looking to move closer to my office in North Fremantle. I work away quite often, generally between two - three weeks, but I don't have a set roster. When I'm back in Perth, I spend most of my time in the office, but in my free time I love to keep fit, surf and enjoy a drink. Coffee, too.
Hello! I am a 24 year old Research Masters student coming to Perth for a 3-4 month placement at UWA as part of my program. I am originally from Sydney, but have been living and studying in the Netherlands for the past 2 and a half years, and travelling in Europe. Ideally I'd like to sublet a room for this period, but we will see how we go. I am a pretty easy going person to live with, not a neat-freak but also not a slob, I clean up after myself. I am looking forward to living in a warm climate again and going to the beach and park on the weekend. I am really into art, theatre and culture, my placement is related to this. I also love cooking with and for people, I think it can be a really nice way to get to know others. I will only be in Perth for a short amount of time, so I would love to find some fun, sociable housemates who could show me around and help me meet people while in there.
I will be in Perth for an exchange semester and would describe myself as an open and flexible person. I like being around great people to hang out, laugh and talk. I enjoy being in nature and discovering new places and activities. I am independent, tidy and respectful.

Looking for a new place. I’ve been living in Geraldton & Mount Magnet since February whilst finishing off my degree in speech Pathology, and I can’t wait to come back! Before moving up here, I was living around North Beach/ Trigg, but I’d really like to live a little further south. When I’m home I’m super into keeping active/eating healthy/going to the gym etc (promise I’m fun too.) I am looking for a 6 month~ rental.
Chilled out, friendly and relaxed. I love to cook & bake. I enjoy watching a movie with a glass of wine but at the same time like a bit of me time.
I´m a 31-year old student from Helsinki, Finland. I study education in the university of Helsinki and I also work as a paramedic. I´m in Perth to do my exchange studies and after that I want to travel the world for a while. I´m a laid back guy and usually get along with everybody. I´ve been working and studying for the last 10 years so you will not have to take care of me and I can respect your privacy. My hobbies are soccer and spending time with friends and family. I also like the beach :) I'm social and like to meet new people, but also need my own space, and can give that to flatmates aswell. My preferred length of stay is 4-5 months. I´m excited to explore a new city and meet new people and therefore need a place to stay :)
Future flatmate! Currently studying at UWA. New to Perth. Enjoy travelling and exploring. Easy going, clean and organised. Love socialising, but also love my space. Looking to stay with people around my age, who are fun, accommodating, and would like to hang out occasionally.
I'm a professional who currently works remotely doing business development in the IT industry and also studies at the same time. I'm planning to relocate to Perth and continue my Juris Doctor degree at UWA. I'm quite laid-back and spontaneous when it comes to personality. I will mostly be working from home and talking on the phone having conversations with my clients 70% of the time therefore would appreciate flatmates who'll respect this. I'm an outdoor person on weekends where I'd probably go on a hike or socialize over wine.
Looking for a chill, organised, hygenic household. Interests: I'm putting most of my time and effort into completing my studies to be a certified Make-Up Artist. I hope next year to get into University to study fashion, too. Collaborating the two seems like the best option. As for hobbies I switch between different arts, such as, creative writing, sketching, lyric writing, make-up (although that's more or less like work now so haha) and fashion design. I enjoy; cardio/working-out, coffee (cheap pre-workout, if you really heap it), comedy movies, art festivals, my herbal teas and music. Perks: I live by a budget and a schedule. (Let's discuss yours and mine so they don't clash.) I love my privacy, so, I don't hover but I've been told I'm bubbly and friendly by previous house-mates. Requirements; -WiFi. -Aircon. -Fridge. -Toaster. -Stove. -Laundry facility. -Vaccum/broom. -Bed and Somewhere to put my clothes away. Income: Centrelink.
May I rent half or part of your lovely house? I would need a seperate wing with 2 bedrooms, bathroom and lounge. Happy to share a kitchen. (My Mum spends a weekend every 6 weeks.) I now live in a luxury apartment but do not like living totally alone. 20+ years in Perth from UK. Widowed 3 years ago. I have a positive cheerful, flexible personality and a great sense of humour. My friends live near or in these areas listed. Financially independent. Friends say I am interesting because of my diverse interests, charity work, business consultant, life coach, cooking, fishing, boating and travel. Enjoy art, wine - and share trading. I have excellent referees and references. I visit UK once or twice a year. I understand and respect that we all enjoy some company sometimes but have great respect for individual personal space. Years ago I successfully paid rent in a spacious house but also ran the house and the social life of the golfer who owned the house and entertained often. Older now but it could work out well again. Lay out the ground rules to start with and there are usually no problems....Call me for a coffee to discuss.
Hi guys ! We are Chloe and Lola, and we're two 19 year-old French students from Sciences Po Grenoble. We're moving to Perth for a whole year and will arrive in mid July. We're looking for a house/flat to share with other students, preferably international students (not only French people !). As we don’t own a car, we'd like to live in a place which is not too far from the city by public transport. We're planning on traveling to Asia during summer holidays so we're searching for accommodation only until November (4 months). We'll be back for Semester 1 of 2019. We are outgoing and tidy, we love traveling, meeting new people and exploring new places. We are both good English speakers (so we can communicate normally :) ) ! Feel free to message us !
We have both lived overseas and around Australia. We are respectful flatmates. Expecting a baby in October we are looking for semi detached or privat residence.
