Hi! My name's Angie. I’m a Graphic Designer, I'm looking for long-term accommodation in Brisbane. I am house proud, clean, considerate and looking to share a happy home with like-minded other/s. Property ideal & location: 2-3 bedroom property close to the city in Milton, Paddington, New Farm or West End. An open, light, calm and clean home with air conditioning and a pool (preferably). Must have a balcony or courtyard and outlook. Medium - large size bedroom (enough space for a desk and easel set up). Looking to pay $200-$300 per week. About me: I work freelance within various studios full-time M–F fairly long hours. I like to balance that by keeping fit with triathlon training, pilates and weekend hikes. I enjoy shopping at fresh food markets, cooking, socialising, languages and being in nature. I am well travelled and have lived in France, South of England, London and recently Sydney for a year. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Hello! We are a young couple (22/23) traveling from the UK looking for a furnished room for 2-3 months. We both work full time in the hospitality industry so our hours are often long and late but we are very respectful of others' work commitments and starting hours. We are a friendly, easy going couple who love to meet new people and would not want to make anyone feel uncomfortable around us. We try to make the most of our days off together, whether that's chilling at the beach or having a day out. We like to cook and we enjoy a few drinks every now and then but since finishing university our party days are now very few and far between! We're a clean and tidy couple who take pride in where we live and will actively help around the house.
Hello :) My names Charlotte, I am 26 from London but have been living in Oz for a year now and not going back anytime soon as I have been sponsored! Unfortunately have to leave my apartment in Newstead very soon! I work in Recruitment so have long days so I will be out most the time, but enjoy going for dinners, drinks and relaxing by the pool to! Usually have something fun planned for the weekends too :) I am really easy going to live with and always enjoy meeting new people! Feel free to send a message for team ups too :)

Sam - 32, Media Sales Manager. Sport + coffee is life. Kylie - 29, Graphic Designer. Pun enthusiast. Puppies are life. Feel free to ask any questions!
Hi! I'm Brinda, work as an Accountant - but don't hold that against me. Easy going, friendly and sociable. Like to spend the weekends chilling out at home or catching up with friends/ family and checking out new and interesting bars/ restaurants. Enjoy cooking (so a nice kitchen would be a bonus) and Netflix. Looking for an easy going, friendly and tidy flatmate.
I work full-time in fortitude valley and spend most weekends on the GC with my partner. I enjoy my personal space, gym and socialising over a glass or two of wine. I'm very neat and tidy and prefer a similar environment. Preferred gender: female
Please read this fully before contacting me as I am looking for quite specific type of people to share with only. Please indicate you have read this all by using the code word written somewhere below. I am wanting to share with conscious, spiritual people in their late 20’s to mid 30’s who enjoy meditation, yoga, gym, pilates, hiking etc and cooking healthy food utilising organic produce as much as possible only. Ultimatley I am wanting to expand my existing circle of these types of people in my life and live this lifestyle with ease, grace and comfort. It would be great if house mates want to do these types of things together regulary and keep each other accountable and motivated. I can move into an existing place or we can team up and get a place together as long as it is fully furnished and everything meets below desires. Location wise anywhere from Lutwyche to Woolloongabba would be suitable. I am clean, organised and tidy without being obsessive. I am respectful and friendly and always pay bills on time, usually within a week of recieving them. You would need to be the same as well. I am happy to socialise regulary and looking for others who do too but also need my own down time and space so respecting each others privacy is obviously needed. Small, well kept pets that don’t drool, don’t smell bad and are house trained are ok but smokers or drug users are not. I am not vegatarian but I am looking to lessen my meat consumption and learn how to cook vegatarian style and asian food better. Also love using wild caught seafood. I would love housemates who would be keen to either cook/eat together regulary and work out a system where we could either have fun experimenting with recipes and learning from each other or enjoy nights off from cooking by sharing the responsibility. Of course we will all want to do our own things at times but this is an idea to discuss that would help keep a good flow of people sharing a kitchen more streamline and issue free. Healthy eating is a must no matter what though as I generally do not keep soft drink and junk food in the house so the temptation to consume it is not there and you would need to be the same. I work in education and mental health, study psychology and am starting my own community enterprise business in the wellbeing/happiness industry. If housemates are also entrepeneurs or work within health/wellbeing/mental health industry well wouldn’t that be just fabulous haha. I am an avid world traveller (if you love travel as well I look forward to swapping crazy stories). I am looking to move away from the party scene and get a routine back in place so would like to share with people who do not consume a lot of alcohol. The odd quiet drink is ok - I do enjoy having dinner parties (think “Come Dine With Me”) with a few glasses of wine or cider but like maximum once a month or every 2 months would be the ideal for me. If you drink every night or more than a few once a week maximum, I do not wish to share with you as this is what I am looking to get away from. If you don’t drink at all you are more than welcome to be part of the share house but please know that I am keen to throw the odd dinner party still. I would like a big, modern, spacious place in close proximatey to a gym and yoga studio as well as a local fruit and veg market, chinese and indian grocery stores would also be a great bonus, as close to the city as possible but with easy access to major highways at the same time. Private bathrooms for all of us would be ideal and if there was a spare room or nice garden space we can turn into a meditation area I would be in total bliss! I’ve just returned from a round the world trip and my focus is on getting fit and trim again, eating healthy unprocessed food and working on developing my business goals and want to share only with like minded people on the same wave length as this will serve to aid and help each other rather than be a hinderous or distraction. I don’t mind how many of us share together as long as you are of the same mind frame that I have described. Please use the code word yogi so I know you have read this. I will only reply to those who use the code word. I am pretty flexible with my moving date as I am just crashing at my fathers apartment on Bribie Island currently but ideally would like to move late December/early January as I have a loooong commute to my work in Marsden from here. If we are all sharing bond though I could probably move sooner as well. Just need to discuss, really. I was approved at the beggining of the year for the National Rental Affordability Scheme so if we can find a furnished place on the NRAS program this means we would pay around 20% less than normal prices. These are pretty hard to find though. If you have enough furniture to fill a place though let’s talk about that too. Anyway, if this all sounds good to you then contact me and let’s start a discussion!
Hey! I'm looking for a room to rent or someone who wants to find a new house near Red Hill/Paddington area. I go home to California over summer but need a new place by end January/beg February. I am a postgrad development practice student at UQ, working part time as well. I love to travel and explore new areas when I have days off and stay on the coast as often as I can. I am super easy going and respectful of other people's space. Definitely want housemates I can get along with but I mostly like to relax in my room and keep to myself when I am home, so looking for a quiet house with people who lead similar lifestyles. No couples please or party houses. Prefer to live in a house with a backyard or outdoor area.
I'm a down to earth housemate that has just returned from a 2 year hiatus in Whistler. I lived with 13 housemates so I know how to be a bloody good one. I don't leave my dishes in the sink and clean up after myself promptly. I'm working full time on James St so I'll be out of your hair most of the time. I love good wine and even better cooking, I'm happy to bond over both with future housemates. My hobbies include painting, writing and experimental 35mm photography.
I'm easy going, Brazilian, 28yrs old. Single father and musician. Kids live with mum in the sunny coast where I go every weekend. I'm checking some places now but not in a rush to move. But if the right place rises I wouldn't say no. Cheers
Howdy! I'm currently studying full-time at QUT, and work part-time. I'd describe myself as active and bubbly, so I'm usually outdoors or meeting friends. I really cherish my down time at the end of the day in the comforts of home, and seeking housemates who similarly cherish conversation, laughter & peace in the home. I am highly respectful of boundaries, and feel that open communication helps resolve things efficiently. Looking forward to linking up with ya! :)
Currently studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education (Geography/Science) and working as a teachers aide at a Christian College. I am after a short term lease in an affordable room near Kelvin Grove QUT campus as I am doing night classes and working in the valley fulltime. Will only be till December. I am old fashioned, quiet, casual. Enjoy cooking things from scratch, gardening, reading, drawing, binge watching Netflix, getting out and about, park life, gigs music. I like to keep things clean. Currently enjoying natural sciences and study of society, urban planning etc but also philosophy. Art. Design. History. Lit. Comedy. I like pets but don't have any. Bike riding. Veggies. No car.
I'm a clean housemate who respects others' personal space and privacy. That being said I'm always up for a chat and a bite to eat. I love binge watching TV shows and will always be up for a tv/movie marathon. I study law at QUT and work as a paralegal.
Hey I’m looking at teaming up to move to gasworks area with someone who enjoys a laugh & a cheeky wine occasionally. I work Monday to Friday in the valley and I have my very loyal dog being trained to live as an apartment dog. Late party nights are passed me these days but enjoy cooking and catching up on a movie during the week. Respectful of others space and I do have a house full of furniture.
Moved out of my New Farm apartment to go travelling for 4 months overseas. Now that i am back looking for a place to stay for a minimum of 3 months with the potential to stay longer :) I love New Farm for its cafe culture and parks so hoping to share my love for the area with someone else!
I’m a very clean and organised individual. I am currently travelling on a Working Holiday Visa and have settled in Brisbane to save some money. I have a full time job working in fundraising. I am very sociable and love to go out for the occasional drink/night out, but I promise will never become disruptive.
Hello future house-mate! I am a 33 year old female who is being transferred to Brisbane for work in January 2017 and I am looking for a house mate or two who would like to share a place in either West End, East Brisbane, Kangaroo Point, New Farm, Teneriffe, New Stead. Inner city suburbs close to work (Kangaroo Point). Ideally we would agree on a new place to share, as I have all the furniture we would need. Except your bedroom furniture. I own quality, nice furniture that is modern, clean, simple, minimalist and like my surroundings to be the same. I like home to be a quiet and relaxing sanctuary as my work life can be busy and stressful. Prefer to eat well and exercise, and spend my weekends exploring markets and galleries, but will also head to the Sunshine Coast often to visit family and friends. Likes: Red wine, cafes, food, markets, book stores, wine bars, black coffee, bike riding (just not seriously enough to wear lycra). I would be described as friendly, happy, considerate, a little quiet, but dont mind a laugh. Happy to socialise but also enjoy my alone time. Dislikes: Rude people, weetbix and mushrooms, sweet girly drinks, dance clubs. If you have any questions please let me know, and look forward to meeting you!
Adelaide girl working a full-time office job at the Gasworks precinct looking to share a place with people similar aged. Require my own private unfurnished bedroom that fits a Queen bed, has free street parking and no dogs - I'm not a dog person sorry. :( My budget is strictly $200 per week max (inclusive of rent and all Bills). I'm a happy social female whom likes a drink and chat after work. I'm never late with rent, I clean up after myself and always willing to do my share of the chores (without needing to be asked). I'm the youngest in my family and I've always lived in share houses so consideration for others is part of my DNA. Sharing a bathroom is fine with me - I have quick showers!.
I am clean. I'm very respectful. I'm easy going and laid back. In my spare time I like to go to gym or see my family. I hardly go out and party I more prefer a quiet weekend. Probably the best house mate you'll meet

My name is Ashlea, I'm a 24 year old female working in government Mon-Fri in Brisbane CBD. I'm looking for somewhere to live close to the city. I try to keep fit and don't drink during the week, but don't mind a drink or two on the weekends. I'm a pretty chilled person and am respectful of space. I need my alone time occasionally but would still prefer to live with someone I can have a chat with! I am a non-smoker and have no pets and I am hoping for one or two room mates around the same age with similar interests. I have a car so I would prefer a parking space. Not interested in sharing a bathroom, please don't message if shared bathroom only.
Hi, 49 yo male professional working in Newstead but wife has moved back to Sydney for family reasons. I will follow her but until I find employment down there, need to rent a room. Furnished. Own bathroom /ensuite. From about December 6th 2017. Hoping to be honest not too long term but would agree say two to four weeks notice. Never say never but you would have your own space on weekends as I would probably only be staying 4 nights a week for a few weeks, away for Christmas, then 3 or 4 nights a week only from the new year. All inclusive of bills price preferred please (just easier) and please consider nights per week in price. I am a pretty standard beer, wine, meat and three veg kind of guy but to be fair must warn you I am a light smoker ( outside only ) Thanks Brendan
