$300/week•28 year old man
Hi there! My name is Lewis, I’m 28, and I'm heading up to Darwin in late July to work for the Darwin Festival! I am looking for a furnished (as long as there’s a bed basically!) room somewhere relatively close to the place I'm working - Civic/Festival Park, as I'm working in the Happy Yess 6 nights a week throughout the whole festival :) I've worked in theatre and arts festivals for almost a whole decade now, it's what I love and it's my passion! I love watching shows, working on shows, and enjoying the entire arts scene. I worked Darwin Festival last year and absolutely loved how everyone turned out for it, how everyone embraced all the shows, and especially the dance parties on the weekends. I can work pretty late hours sometimes but I’m very much used to coming home when everyone’s asleep and making sure they stay that way! I’m very happy in my own company but do love to socialise and have a chat. And a beer or cabernet merlot or a prosecco or two. In my spare time I love being outdoors, camping, hiking, board games, playing FIFA - the usual. I'm a big fan of trying new wholesome activities and a crafternoon but also love to go out dancing every now and then (the Darwin nightlife is pretty fun!). Hope to hear from you soon!

Looking for a furnished room for myself in a quiet share house (or entire place for myself). I'm a full time professional, working remotely as a software engineer at a major bank, partly from home, from cafes or library, so the place should double as an office if required. Non-smoker, no drugs, no pets. Rental history available on request. Originally from Germany, I lived in Perth for 7 years and Darwin and Brisbane for 6 month each and am well travelled. Active and love outdoors, hiking, snorkelling, playing guitar and piano.

I'm a 29 year old social worker from Melbourne - your classic blow-in from down south in other words! I'm really into music and love going out to see gigs. I often have a creative project on the go and have dabbled in pottery, sewing, weaving, writing and painting and I used to work as a photographer. In my spare time I also like swimming, riding my bike, op-shopping, reading and going to art galleries and markets. I love going camping and hiking and am keen to get out on weekends. I decided to come up to the NT after working in a remote Aboriginal art centre a few years back and fell in love with the people, landscape and culture up here. I'm looking for somewhere that has a homey, community feel but where I can also enjoy my own space after work. I'd love to live with like-minded people who are keen to hang out, share meals and go exploring together from time to time.

Hi I'm Kaz. I'm an energetic, young at heart person who loves going on adventures to explore the natural environment. I like to have a routine and I'm pretty relaxed and quiet but happy to have a catch up and maybe a wine at the end of the day. Like to stay fit and healthy, I'm super clean and organized and respectful of others. I would expect the same from my housemates.

Study at CDU in Health Science About me: I’m very clean and organised. Enjoy socialising but also my own down time. 😄 If I’m not studying I try to do exercise, outdoor exploring or spending time with my family. I prefer an easy-going drama free environment with professional working/studying people.

Hi, my name is Ollie and I am full time civil engineer moving from Sydney to Darwin for work. I am a sociable, outgoing and friendly guy who's into the outdoors, spearfishing, gardening, having a beer and a chat, lots of other little hobbies so really anything and everything. I am planning on arriving in Darwin around late July but a little flexible on that. My first priority is finding a house with good people so very flexible on what is and isn't available.
