Hello! We are two 21 year old students from Norway on our last year in a Bachelor in Earth Science. In Sydney we will be attenting a semester as exchange students. Kristoffer (Guy at the left side): I am a somewhat extroverted person who in my free time enjoy to go hiking in the nature, play sports, go see movies and go on concerts. While in Australia, I plan to travel around when I have time and see the beautiful nature. When it comes to tidiness, I like to have the common areas tidy and clean. I also like to have it quiet at nighttime during the weekdays when I have class the next day. Sander (Guy at the right side): Hi! I'm a calm and adventorus person. Usually somewhat shy when I first meet new people, but opens more up when I get to know them. I wery much like to explore places I haven't been to before, usually by jogging/running around without a plan on where and how long 😛 Some of the things I like to do on my freetime is: Exercising (running, rowing, BW-training ++), exploring my surroundings, traveling, whatching movies, photographing, cooking, hiking and most outdoor activeties 🙂 I guess I also can call myself a music addict, whereas I listen to most kind of music and almost always has some equipment to do so. I will be studying at Macquarie Uni where I'll be attending units in economics, statistics and enviromental sciences. Same as with Kristoffer, I like to have a tidy common area, inclouding kitchen, bathroom and common room.
Hey, I am a visiting postgrad student at Macquarie University. I am from Germany and I have lived in shared flats my whole student life. I love sports, little adventures, sharing food and stories. I am tidy and uncomplicated. My budget is very limited (100-150 would be perfect), thus I am looking for a very simple room, furnished would be perfect!
Hi, my name is Claudia and I will be looking for new accommodation around April 2018, preferably near Macquarie University. I would prefer somewhere on the ground level that has natural sunlight and that is quiet. I like to have my own space where I can re energize and feel at home in my home. I like to cook, food and healthy diet is most important as well as healthy heart and spirit. I am pet friendly and non-smoker. I am great to live with because I am clean and organized. I enjoy the outdoors. I have bedroom furniture except a wardrobe and a few kitchen gadgets and bits and pieces. Please get in contact if you think we could be compatible housemates or if you can recommend a property. Thanks Claudia
Looking for a place to share with one or two others which has a decent sized room and preferably an ensuite/own bathroom and off street parking. Work full time as a primary teacher in the Ryde area. Clean, tidy and friendly. Flexible moving date.
Hi people i'm Danny, i am in Sydney by myself and i am working full time, i usually work anywhere from 50 - 65 hours a week so i am usually never home during the day, i am looking for someone that cleans up after themselves and is easy to get along with, work is really important to me and i'm not really into the party scene anymore so it would be good to find someone that is a workaholic like me and doesn't make too much noise, when i'm not working i like cooking skating sleeping and the beach, i don't really like the idea of living with lots of people so i'd like to live with 1 or 2 people max..
I am easygoing, and I'd love to socialize with people. I am passionate about movies and have a knack for technologies and startups. I am working full-time and looking for a private room in a share house with great flatmates who do not trun the house into the party house. I pay rent and bills on time and love to live with families or group of people who keeping everything neat and tidy. Homestay / home stay with nice family without the need for providing me a food is also an option which I am thinking of it.
Just a Canadian looking for a place to call home while I work and study! I study law, and bartend and serve to get by. I am an easy going person, relaxed by nature. I enjoy a nice glass of wine or a pint of beer, good conversation, and good company. I place a lot of value upon respect, and cleanliness in a flatmate, and contribute those qualities in any living situation.
Hi, I'm a quiet, tidy and easy-going electrician looking for a room to rent. I work shift work and during my time off I travel back to Newcastle to spend time with my family (wife and 1 year old boy). I'm currently working in Thornleigh so would be keen to find a place close by. Interests include soccer, cricket, xbox and the occasional good book.
Jennifer: Indonesian, student at Macquarie University, likes to draw and eat. Ivan: Indonesian, student at Macquarie University, likes to play computer. We’re looking for two separate rooms for each of us because we’re not a couple. Our budget is 250/pw each.
My partner and I are looking at moving to Sydney at the start of February. Currently we live in Melbourne. I will be doing a master's program at MQ uni and teaching ESL part time, and my partner will be working part time. We are looking for a quiet studio or granny flat.
Hey guys!! We are looking for an awesome place to live, with like-minded people. Mounisha: I'm studying full time at MQU doing Science/Law (yes, I'm aware I'm a nerd :P) and also work part time at a driving school. I love my wine and netflixing, but if you are keen on horrible jokes and watching me lose at board games, I make decent company. I also really love puppies. Like, a lot. Isham: He didn't want to write his own bio, so I'm gonna write whatever I want here. This dude is a full time Commerce/Law student (how boring can he get????) and works part time as tech support. He's pretty quiet, but also really awesome once you get to know him. We're just looking for people who are fun and weird and love food. We're also saving for a wedding soon so looking for somewhere affordable but not too far from uni. If you think you've got room for us or want to start a teamup, shoot us a message and we can grab coffee sometime!
Hi future roommate person/s! How weird is it to write about yourself? I'm a 25 year-old male slave working and studying full-time. I’m moving up from Melbourne to Sydney on the 16th-ish. With whatever time I have spare I love to chill with video games, watching anime and having the odd Mario Kart competition to assert my dominance (Fkn shotgun Peach bruh). I'm a bit of a dork, love to make people laugh and find the humour in almost anything. The more dark and sarcastic your humour, the more we'll get along swimmingly. I've taken up a job opportunity in Sydney Airport and studying at MQU. Looking for a place that is close to the T1 line! ** I can commit between 6 - 12 months, as I'll be saying goodbye to Australia and moving to Japan! **
I completed my masters at Macquarie university and will soon be on temporary visa. I like my personal space and respect others space as well. Well, a glimpse of me: A tidy person who love sports, occasionally cooking food, going gym etc etc the list is long so let's skip that at the moment. I am looking for few people to team up with and find a place which we can call our home for at least a year and for now maximum 2 years.
I'm a 31 year old academic at Macquarie University looking for a place to live close to work. I work Mon-Fri, 9-5 and am out a couple of evenings a week at martial arts training. Apart from that I like to cook and relax with a nice beer, watching sport on TV. I'm from Adelaide so I'm fairly laid back. I'm an experienced share-houser and am tidy, quiet and respectful but not a hermit!

I am going to University of Sydney and studying Architecture commencing 2018. I have a part time job at the moment working at a hotel in the bar. I am very organise and clean to live with, and cannot stand mess! I am also an awesome cook! I have a little kitten called Elijah who is a Russian blue and is extremely friendly, keeps to himself and clean, i would be looking for him to move out with me -he is friendly with dogs and is best friends with my family dog . My hobbies include Running, basketball and a assortment of video games. I prefer to spend my nights in my room and getting to bed at a reasonable time.
I am a student from Macquarie Uni taking Masters of Accounting (CPA Extension). My past working experience is a Finance Analyst in Deutsche Bank Group - Manila for 3 years. I resigned last year to pursue post grad degree. I came here in Australia Feb 2017 I live in Parramatta since March 2017 with the same flatmates. As I am approaching to my 3rd semester, uni is getting tougher and I am aiming to do my CPA subjects this year so it will be best for me to move closer uni at the same time parking in Parramatta is an issue. I am easy going, down to earth, respects privacy, tidy, and minimalist when it comes to house. I always make sure to find balance between being quiet and being sociable. I am used to living in a shared apartment / dormitory from my bachelor and working days. All housemates are my good friends until today. I am looking for a private bedroom / studio with parking. I am willing to pay 1 month worth of rent as well! :) hope to hear from you soon!
I'm a student at Macquarie Uni. I'm from Hanoi, Vietnam. In addition to characteristics like being friendly, responsible, caring, sweet, funny, bla bla ( 😆😆), I can make Vietnamese traditional dishes and I would love to introduce them to my roomies/ housemates sometimes. Also, I'm into boardgames ( werewolf, exploding kitten, uno, bang, catan,... ) I can communicate in Vietnamese, English and ( a little) Japanese. I'm a cat person. Dear future flatmate/ roomate/ housemate ( or whatever word you prefer), we could be great friends. 😎
I am a French student and I am currently in the first year of a Master of Biology in Paris. I’ll come to Sydney from mid-February (or the beginning of March) to mid-July for a research internship. I’ll work with a team of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Macquarie University. I am looking for an inexpensive place to live near the University (because I won’t have a car). I would enjoy to live with flatmates as it will be the opportunity to meet people (from Australia or not). I’ll be at home the evening, for the meal, and the weekend. I also wish to discover Sydney during this free time.
I am very friendly and sociable, and clean up after myself especially when cooking which I enjoy quite a bit. As a student I am out of the house most days and busy studying when home, however love a friendly chat here and there and hanging out. I am American/Australian, love the outdoors, Living more sustainably and Eco-friendly, and eating and living healthy as well!
Hey everyone, I am looking for accomodation from Feb 17th onwards. I will arrive in Sydney on Feb 13th, though I am already leaving the cold German winter in mid-January to spend a little bit of time travelling (Dubai ->Sri Lanka --> Singapore). I am currently doing my masters in Business administation/Marketing at the University of Hamburg in Germany and will be spending a semester at Macquarie University in the Masters of Research program. Having lived in a variety of shared appartements during my time at uni in Hamburg and while spending a couple of months in Spain after high School, I like to claim that I am easy to live with and get along with most people. :) I would prefer a private & furnished room in a location which is not toooo long of a commute to Macquarie Uni (though preferably more central or closer to the beach than right next to the university). I love to travel, try to go the gym (sometimes more, sometimes less motivated), meet up with friends .....just pretty usual stuff. My Student visa expires July 31st, so I will either head back around that time or try to stay a little longer with a tourist or working holiday visa. Feel free to contact me with any questions or if you think you might have an acommodation option that could fit. :) Sandra
I'm quiet and to myself, very accommodating and easy to get along with. Clean, reliable, friendly. I'm studying at Macquarie University, and work for the campus magazine so I'll be at uni or work most days. If I'm not busy, I'm a homebody, so will be curled up in bed with a cup of tea and a book. I'm vegetarian and cook a lot, always happy to cook for others.
I am quiet, clean and tidy. I am looking for accomodation as i work in North Ryde but own a property in the Southern Highlands. I would not be using the accomodation all of the time as I travel for work and will return home when possible. I like reading and relaxing after work, looking for a quiet, clean property.

I'm easygoing and enjoy meeting new people. My hobbies include movies, music and sport (especially soccer). I study during the week and like to hang out with friends on the weekends.
