I'm just finishing up my first year doing a vet degree at JCU (I've done a few other degrees before now which is why I'm not the traditional 18 year old first year) and am looking for a place at the start of 2019 around Belgian Gardens/North Ward/City/Railway Estate area. If there was more of a granny flat/one-bedroom apartment/whole-bottom-floor/ensuite-bedroom-with-spacious-living-rooms sort of thing in those areas, I'd be keen to get in touch. I spend a lot of my time during semester studying, and I work on Saturdays as a Vet Nurse, but I do like socialising more on the weekends, and like to sometimes have some friends over for a quiet wine or beer to wrap up the week. I also like running, and I usually cycle to uni, but I do have car up here too. I don't have any of my own pets, but I'm pretty happy with being around other peoples' (especially their dogs). If you've got something that you think would suit from mid-Jan next year when I come back up from my placements, please do get in touch!
Hi! I am a friendly, clean and positive person who loves to go to gym and spend time with friends in my own time. I have two jobs one at Jaxx and the other at Brumbys. I am very independent and reliable, I love to cook and and am always willing to help out when needed. Looking for a friendly and homely place to stay for next year. Look forward to meeting you.
Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist specialising in hands. I will eventually be looking for my own place but looking for a short term solution in the meanwhile. I am looking to be based fairly central eg West End, North Ward, Hermit Park, Hyde Park, Belgian Gardens as I don't have a car at present so it's just easier for me as I bike everywhere. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
Hey, I'm Travis and we are a couple who are moving from Melbourne to Townsville for work. I am a teacher and Erin is studying teaching, so yes, we like to drink occasionally. We are looking to ideally move in with some friendly and fun people as we won't know anyone in Townsville. We love a bit of trivia and to enjoy the outdoors of a weekend. We are both tidy, easy going and love a chat. We'll also happily take your dog for a walk (if you have one) and don't smoke :)
I’m a 25 year old full time shift worker. I’m a package deal that comes with two dogs, a Labrador and a mini dachshund. I’m looking for a place close to the CBD/Strand. It would be awesome to share with someone who also does shift work or who is understanding of it (doesn’t slam doors), however I’m just happy to find the right room mate! I’m a clean and tidy person and cannot stand a dirty kitchen. I love socialising however also enjoy time to myself. I spend most of my time off with my dogs and drinking coffee. I don’t mind a few cheeky drinks here and there. Seeking a housemate that will laugh at my bad jokes. I’m always up for binge watching Netflix and household dinners! I’m flexible on a move date.
I am 23 & work fulltime in realestate, i am clean, quiet and do my own thing. I like to live a healthy lifestyle & keep fit. On weekends i hang out with my friends or go to the gym. I prefer a room that includes electricity & internet but not essential depending on the weekly rent.
Hi, I am a Dutchy, and will come to Townsville to do my internship at the AIMS. I like hiking, climbing, surfing, swimming and chilling (who does not?). I look forward exploring the beautiful nature and t.he open minded culture of Australia. Hoping to find a cosy house with multiple students or same-aged, with whom I can share my good times in Australia. If possible I would like to share a regular dinner or breakfast and go on a regular adventure with my future flatmates!
I'm an responsible 18yr old and I'm not a party animal, I'm currently looking for full-time work in the hospitality industry, I'm shy at first but once I get to know you properly I'm pretty outgoing.
I have a super bubbly and positive personality and am easy to get along with. I enjoy socialising but also appreciate that people need their own space. I am very respectful of those around me and would consider myself a tidy person who always cleans up after themselves and helps around the house.
I'm the most easy going person you'll ever meet, and also nice and tidy! I'm from England on a working holiday visa but I'm working full time long hours so I'll be out most of the day but looking for a place where I can relax - but also hoping to meet new people and hopefully make some friends! I like all sports, fitness and generally being active as well as meeting new people.
Moving to Townsville mid october for a gig in the radio industry, I'm a really active and energetic person-love a good laugh and to hang out with friends, but respect others peace and quiet. Like to keep fit, in the gym or going for a surf. I'm very organised and tidy-not a massive party animal but a good beer or wine at the end of the day or a meal out is totally in my ballpark! :)
Hi there! I recently quit my full-time HR job to go traveling and am now moving up to Townsville to pursue the Marine Science dream at JCU in 2019. I will be studying full time, working part-time and like to keep myself busy with diving, gym, photography etc. I'm fairly social but also like my own space. I'm looking to live with some people that I might eventually call friends. Love animals! Bringing a car too.
Hi I’m relocating from Victoria to try living in the heat again. I have a 7 year old red healer, Ruby, she is deaf however I can hear! We both get along well with other dogs. I Love Love to cook, I’m clean, and reasonably quiet unless I’m excited about something. I have a job baking cakes and will be learning how to make gelato. I like to garden, hike, travel, read, binge watch new tv shows, walk my dog, hang with my family. ( whom almost all live in TOWNSVILLE). I have a campervan so need off street parking. Prefer to live close enough to The Strand so I can ride or walk to work.
Hi, I’m Ally! I work fulltime during the week and often casually on weekends. I’m hardly home and super easy going! I like my own space also happy to have a wine and a chat/ watch some TV. I have a cat Millie who’s mostly outdoors (sleeps indoors at night) no kitty litter though! She’s super friendly and lived in rentals before.
Hi there my name is Frank and I am a very down to earth genuine and easy to get on with. I work full-time and am financially stable..I am a non drinker and non smoker but don't mind the social outings from time to time when I am not working. I live a clean lifestyle. My down time away from work is spent with my camera as photography is a hobby I am very passionate about. I live a reasonably active lifestyle and enjoy the great outdoors walking and biking etc. I spend time away from the Ville usually back on the Gold Coast where I will eventually return to live pending where my work opportunities takes me. Please don't hesitate to touch base to ask any further questions.
I'm a 23 year old male, I'm down to earth. Love cooking in the arvo, and i'm pretty big on my fitness. I love a classic frothie on my days off and going for a coffee in the morning. I'm pretty keen on a a good vibe in the house, where you actually can come home and hang out. But I also have times when I will want to chill by myself
Hey guys, I am looking for a potential housemate around mid September (I can be flexible with dates). I am looking at moving close to the city but other suburbs close by are fine too. I work full time, i try to go on adventures on my days off, I spend a lot of time outdoors. I own dogs who are incredibly friendly, I take full responsibility of them and have no intentions of letting them be a burden to any housemates. I love living with tidy, supportive housemates but also love time out to study and the occasional social drink with friends. I welcome any happy, friendly people to send me a message ✌🏻
