Hi! I will arrive in Darwin on the 26th January. I am moving for study and for work. I am friendly, responsible, social, busy, clean and not into heavy parties. ( Palmerston is my preferred location ). My plan is to inspect rooms on the 27th January 2018.
I'm a 23 year old dance/drama teacher who is easy going, loves a laugh, very social (going out, drinks after a long work week, games night, movie nights etc..) and have lived with roommates before so quite used to cleaning up after myself and being part of a friendly fun young house. I'm a brissy gal who's just come back from living in the UK for a year so looking for new roomies in a new city!!
I am needing temporary accommodation. I would move into my own investment property but I have just re-tenanted one month ago. I will only be present in the evening, and I travel a lot. In my spare time I like to go bird watching. I am a scientist. I prefer my living conditions to be neat and tidy. I live a simple lifestyle. I have two young boys (aged 10 and 12) that will be with me half of the time.
I was a Chef, easy to talk to, great sense of humour, love a good laugh and very easy o get along with
I currently work full time as a traffic management plan designer on call. i spend most of my time out on the road working, however; when i get time to chill out i like to spend time looking after my place of stay i.e. gardening, pool maintenance. i keep to myself but do enjoy a social drink or dinner and sitting down having a chat about life. i enjoy exercise, watching tv series, catching up with mates when i get a chance and helping others around the house when its wanted/needed.
Moving to Darwin from Melbourne, working and studying full time! Like exercise + sports, latin dancing and like to be social but nothing too crazy. Clean and tidy, like to cook and looking for great people to live with for the next 1-2 years!
I'm a 25 year-old accountant from the UK moving to Darwin at the beginning of February. I'm looking to get to know the area and experience as much of the Darwin life as possible - it would be great to have housemates who would be happy to show me around and help me out every now and again. I'm a relaxed, easy-going, friendly person who is easy to live with. I keep my areas clean and am happy to take my part of any household chores. I like to be social - have a beer, bbq and a good chat as well as going out and experiencing the local culture and events - but I'm definitely not a big party person. I have an active lifestyle and keep healthy for the most part (although I am partial to a good takeout every now and again). I love watching sport, movies and learning about history/culture. And I LOVE good food! Looking for some awesome people to have some fun with during my time in Darwin. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you soon!
I am an easy going, clean and friendly housemate who enjoys playing sport, staying active and the outdoors. I enjoy a few drinks of a weekend, however also appreciate serenity and time to myself. I also love animals so pets will not be a problem. I have a full time job working for the government and will always pay rent on time. Hoping to find a like minded housemate :) hoping to find somewhere close to the city including parap Stuart park Fannie bay or possibly nigjtcliff
Hi I’m Jack. I currently work fulltime in the sports and racing betting industry and have just accepted a job in Darwin. I’m clean and tidy, happy to do my share of housework, easygoing and respectful. I love watching sport, mostly American, and love a good feed and a beer. I like to be social but understand the need for privacy and space when living with others. Will be looking for a long term stay as I will be working in Darwin for at least the next 12 months.
Hello! I am moving from Brisbane at the end of January for work as a designer in Darwin City and am after a furnished room within a share house. I am interested in most things artsy, enjoy photography and love to travel and explore new places. I am hoping to find a share house with like minded people who perhaps want to explore Darwin together or like to be social every now and again. I clean up after myself and am considerate of others. Nonsmoker and no pets of my own but not adverse to there being animals. I have a car and would prefer some type of off street parking but I am flexible. Ideally I would like bills included (including internet) however, if not possible I would like to get a general idea of how much bills will be each quarter. If you have a place available for around the time I move to Darwin and think we could get along then please feel free to contact me. I will be in Darwin from around the 30th of January to be able to view places and meet in person.
I'm an easy going housemate that has respect for other housemates privacy. I don't mind chatting after work and sharing meals and a beer/wine, especially in this heat! I'm a fulltime professional, moved to Darwin last year and here for the next 5 or so years, cyclone/croc dependent. Play Football (soccer), like to go camping and explore the NT and surrounds.
Moved to Darwin 6 months ago and have now been offered sponsorship in work so I guess I can call it home for the next 2 years. I’m 21 years old and from Ireland. I am very friendly, easy going and love a sociable drink or two over the weekend. Looking for a housemate who is keen to sightsee and do things together on our free time! I also enjoy my own space and downtime. I have another friend who is 24 from the Gold Coast who is looking to move so would be very interested in teaming up and renting an apartment.
Greetings, We're a really chilled and easy going couple looking for a comfortable and affordable place to stay in Darwin. Liz, who is from Canada, will be studying full-time and working casual/part-time when she arrives mid Feb. Brent studies part time and works close to full-time. We are very friendly people who enjoy a good mix of socializing and relaxing. We are interested in securing a room for around late Feb. Brent & Liz
My name is Alex and I have been in Darwin for a couple of years now. I work full-time for the NTG so your 0800-1621 hours Monday to Friday. I am a very relaxed, courteous, respectful, clean and active person. During the week I'm hardly around, as I leave for work early and don't get back till late. I'm a very low key person during the weekdays usually in bed by 10/11pm most week nights on the weekends i love going to the markets, catching up with friends, exploring, walking, riding, swimming, or being a hermit crab and doing nothing at all lol (netflix). I'm a quiet person and I enjoy my own space most of the time, I enjoy living with friendly courteous people that don't mind a chat on the balcony or sharing a meal with each other every so often :). I am not looking to live in a party house or in a house with more than 3 people. I love animals big and small so a place with animals is no bother :) I have been advised that we aren't renewing our lease as my flatmate is moving away! So I'll be looking for a place to either move into or to share with a person! Ideally I would like to be in the City and have a secure car park.
I come from Vietnam and I will be going to Darwin to do my Masters degree in February 2018. I am looking for a fully furnished room to stay with Wifi, A/C, all bills included, not too far from Waterfront. I am a friendly guy, a bit quiet, I always keep things tiny and clean and I love playing badminton. I love animals such as dogs and cats. I don't drink or smoke. I hope to make some new friends in Darwin :)
Full time lecturer at Charles Darwin Uni. Mature, responsible Grandma. I'm very quite and would love somewhere with access to a pool. looking at long term accommodation, somewhere that feels safe and private
I am very organised and keep my belongings within my own space, but I am more than happy to help share and create a friendly and homely atmosphere. Originally from Melbourne, I've moved to Darwin for my first adult job, so a big step in life at the moment and I'm looking for somewhere comfortable to come home to each night. Happy to try new things and fit in and adapt to a new household.
