My name is Julian, im 22 and currently living in Adelaide. Im looking to move over on the 9th of July. I work full time in hospitality and will head in that direction when I land in Melbourne. Looking for a 3 month stay but if the place is beautiful and my housemates are great I could reconsider. I love music (typical radio trash) and I love my sports (particularly NBA and Footy (but literally anything with a ball, bat or racquet)). Im a very very...very easy going, open minded person and I get along great with everyone I meet. Im very clean and tidy and very reliable. My bills are always paid in full and on time. Im looking for a private room in a share house with some great housemates with bubbly personalities. Im not looking to join a frat house as fun as it would be. Just want to work, come home and chill out with some great companions... Love to hear from you all about potential rooms! 😊 P.s. I am batshit terrified of cats. This is no joke, please don't message me if you own one of these...
Hi :) Nice to meet you. I'm Akiko from Japan. I'm studying business at college and working as a barista. I love to have a chat and share my life with my housemates. I sometimes share foods which I cook with my housemates as well ! I like cooking! You can try my Japanese foods if you want😊✨ For weekends, I usually work but if I have day off I explore new places or hangout with my friends or just relax at my house😁✨ I also like do boldering💪💪💪💪 So I often go to gyms when I have time:) This is about myself. You can ask me more if you want:) Thank you, Aki
Well hello there! I find it so tricky to portray my personality through these 'about me's', but here I go... I'm a happy go lucky, bubbly chica, who is empathetic and cares deeply for others. Career wise, I work full time hours at a gym, and am working towards a career as a Zookeeper. I decided to change my career 2 years ago and follow my childhood dream, to work with animals :) I absolutely love fitness and try to stay healthy (although I can demolish a block of chocolate in a scary amount of time). I like to go for runs, hikes, the beach, anything outdoors. On weekends I do like to go for a drink here and there, enjoy festivals and live gigs of any sort! My time at home is usually spent cooking, watching docos, sharing a glass of wine with my housemates or just chilling. I really enjoy getting to know my housemates and often and up having them as my closest friends. I usually work Tuesday - Saturday, though my hours/days change slightly depending how I choose to plan my week. My music taste is pretty diverse! Includes a bit of rock, psychedelic, dance, electric, alternative, acoustic - pretty broad in that area! Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions, I’m an open book! What I’m looking for in a housemate/s: Easy going, easy to talk to and communicative peeps! It’s always a happy household for me when we aren’t afraid to talk to each other about what’s okay/what’s not okay, that way we are all on the same page! I think in a happy household people are understanding of each others down time, also happy to adapt a little to suit each other (I'm very adaptable). I look forward to meeting you soon :)
My name is Achini, I am 32 and I am an Executive Legal Secretary by profession. I am coming from Perth to Melbourne this coming week and I am from originally with a Sri Lankan descendant. I am a kind, safe, very clean, neat tidy and reliable/ very responsible person. I got sufficient identification that can be provided. I will be careful with the place as my own. I am friendly but know to give people their own space. I moved to Melbourne one and half months ago and returned back to Perth to arrange some matters with . I am moving to Melbourne this coming week. I have almost secured my job there with a lawfirm in the CBD down Collins Street. I need some accommodation close to the city or a place that has a short commute to the city for a short period of time say about 3 months max until I get my own rental secured (I must do so because I own two beautiful golden retriever boys who will be staying with a Foster Family down in Perth until I get my place). I am looking to move in as soon as I land there in Melbourne probably by this Wednesday or Thursday. I meet with my potential employers on Wednesday (pending approval depending on municipal itinerary). Due to the move + travelling I am a little tight on finances therefore it would be ideal and I would be grateful if I could be exempted from paying a bond. However, I confirm I have no problem rent on time, and I am able to provide many references for you to assure you that I am safe, reliable, clean and tidy as I state and that I payment my rent on time. The rent I can afford with confidence is max $150 a week. I am looking for ideally just for about 1-2 or 3 months accommodation only. I would prefer that I am not locked into fixed period and be allowed to pay as I go because I want to get my own place as soon as it is possible. I would of course ensure that I provide you with 2 weeks notice before leaving to be fair on your side too. However, if that is a problem I am happy to compromise and to work around you therefore kindly put forward your offers and kindly don’t condemn me on that need. Even though it is for a short period of time; I would like to live in a neat, clean, nice safe place. Within a short commute to the CBD. I really like homely spaces with positive and nice people. I love animals so I do not mind if you got any animals of your own. Not anywhere with any drugs/alcohol or crazy party houses. Really, just looking for a safe cosy place to call home even for this short period of time with some positive minded beautiful people. Thank you for reading and really look forward to hearing from you soon :) Achini
Hey! I moved from London to Melbourne in October 2018 and work full time in Property Development. I’m looking to move from Southbank towards the South Yarra/ Prahran area or Richmond. I’m easy going, clean and a considerate housemate. I enjoy all of the standard flatmate applicant things; a drink at the local, cooking, some weekend brunches and anything outdoors (I’m an Avid golfer!) Happy to answer any questions you have, just drop me a message 👍🏼
Hey everyone, I'm a Scottish gal who moved to Melbourne about 6 months ago and am looking for a place to lay down some roots. Totally up for moving in to a current home or finding a new place with a group of folk! I'm a kindergarden teacher during the week in Richmond and like to spend my weekends either exploring the City or going on trips out and about, whatever is happening I have severe FOMO. Had my own place back in Scotland with a friend so very aware of bills and expectations of sharing a home with other people, and am looking for a home where we can interact with each other instead of hiding away when we're around. I am not vegan - but can appreciate and respect the life style & I love netflix so am happy to spend nights arguing over wether vikings or gossip girl are the strongest shows. Wine and coffee are my vices, along with chocolate, pizza, burgers, and mcdonalds hash browns.. I hope to hear from you all!
Hello there! Im Kate - and Im looking for a new place to call home :) A bit about me - 33year old female who works as a health practitioner in private practice. I enjoy keeping a balanced/active lifestyle - and enjoy cooking, keeping fit, spending time in nature (hiking, reading and chilling), brunching, learning new things and socialising. As a housemate, I am tidy, clean up after myself, pay rent/bills on time and am respectful of my fellow housemates time and space. I am early to bed/early to rise kinda gal, enjoy a good ole chat with my fellow housemates and also enjoy living independent lives in a harmonious environment. I think things that make a successful house share are: communication, respect for fellow housemates, organising the odd social catch up and keeping the communal areas tidy. I believe that we are the sum of the people we spend the most time with - so I am looking for people of similar house share values - that are happy to share a positive, respectful and friendly home :) Some logistics - I have all bedroom furniture so am looking for a non-furnished room. I will need a room that fits minimally a queen bed + some basic furnishings. I am an animal lover but sadly cannot live with cats. I am looking for a place to move into Sept but can be flexible with this date :) Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi I’m Kat, I’m 30yrs old and I’m a Primary school teacher. During the week I’m pretty quiet. I’m always up for a chat however I do respect down time and space. On the weekends I’m usually out about catching up with friends and having the occasional night out. I’m easy going, tidy and like to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
I love going out with friends and family enjoying great food and wine. I love my job - working for a tea company has its perks! I work full time in the city and absolutely love it. I'm in a temporary place until mid September so would love to find somewhere before then. Open to living with Males and Females
I am currently searching for short to medium term accommodation due to a change in circumstances. I am a 33 year old male originally from Scotland working full time as an engineer in Melbourne. The role usually requires long working hours. I enjoy keeping active in my spare time playing football, and going to the gym. I also enjoy downtime to relax with a book or a movie.
I'm 25 years old and the best way to describe myself would be outgoing and sociable. I have only ever lived at home and now looking to fly the nest and start my new city side life. In my spare time, I play netball, love travelling and making the most of days off. I would love to live in a space which is super inviting and would love to live with someone who I can spend time with on the couch but also someone who is happy to allow me to value space to myself. I work on St Kilda Road as a travel agent and I'm hoping to find somewhere and someone that I can enjoy a more of a healthy lifestyle and walk to work. I work on a 3 week rotational roster, so just to spice things up! I love cooking and the occasional baking and always down for brunch or a wine. Looking for someone funky and fun who I can see myself becoming friends with, not just "my housemate" Feel free to message me, I'm always up for a chat and coffee! :)
Hi Jonathan here. I have just relocated to Melbourne from the UK, to work for the Australian Open tennis to work for the Retail and Merchandise team. Big food, wine and coffee fan (in no particular order!), along with being by the beach. Into yoga and running and have recently taken up going to the gym, attempting to get fit and healthy. As happy on a big night out, as I am staying at home cooking and watching a movie. Sociable and enjoy meeting new people. Looking forward to exploring and getting to know Melbourne!
