We are a couple from Poland in our late 20's:). We are looking for a room ASAP but we can wait a little bit because we really care to find a friendly house. We are both students and part-time workers and we want to stay in Melbourne at least 4-5 months at least. I think we are very easy- going, open minded and respectful people. We have never had problems with paying bills etc. Best, Wojtek and Dominika
Hey guys! I am a friendly, educated and respectful twenty two year old male from Perth who has attained a full time job in Human Resources. I am easy going and very sociable but I do appreciate my own peace and quiet. I like to keep my living environment reasonably clean and organised! When I am not at work from 9 'till 5 I will be at the gym, eating out with friends or working on my online marketing side hustle. On the weekends I will be getting to know the amazing Melbourne. I am moving to Melbourne for work in the next month and am seeking to either: - Move into nice & moderately trendy accommodation in Toorak, South Yarra, Malvern, Prahran or Malvern. OR - Co-sign a lease and rent out an apartment from a realestate.com or a similar site. I am in Melbourne permanently so I am looking more for a minimum of 1 year. If you're interested, please let me know! Have an awesome day!
Hi! I'm Michelle, turning 18 but act about 80, am originally from Alice Springs but have been living in Melbourne a year training in Dance. I'm out of the house a lot and pretty quiet at home, never miss a rent payment, am clean and tidy, respectful and have references. Our year long lease is ending at my current place in Reservoir and my two flat mates are moving out so I have to find a new place and would love to live slightly South to be closer to where I train in Prahran. Would love to find new friendly flat mates and a nice room! 😊
I’ve just moved to Melbourne to study a masters in urban planning and Design at Monash after working full time in project management. I’m 27 yo, easy-going, I like art and design, movies, music and all that creative stuff. I like to stay active, spend time outdoors as well as at galleries and in cinemas. I like exploring cities, sharing wine with friends and also a balance of quiet time to myself. I’m respectful of shared spaces and reliable. I also love dogs. I’ll be studying 3 days a week and looking to balance that with working a few days as well. I'm looking for somethings with cafes/bars etc that are a walkable distance and close to public transport.
Hey guys! I'm 22 years old, in my second year studying Nutrition at Deakin uni and work part time at Green Cup (a smoothie bar) on Chapel st. I've been away in Canada for 4 months for the winter season on a working holiday and return back to Melbourne on the 26th Feb. I am looking for a place ASAP for when I'm back and I have lived in share houses previously so have experienced it all before. I am clean, organised, respectful of space but also love to socialise and enjoy a wine or two on the weekends :) Message me if you think id make a good fit to your place.
Happy to luck go, Postgraduate student at the University of Melbourne. Respects others personal space and stays clean and tidy. Looking forward to hearing from you
Hey there, I'm looking to share a house/apartment preferably with just one person who also works office hours. I don't have a car so looking to move somewhere close to public transport. I'm working in the city, enjoy going to the gym, cooking, breakfasts and coffees etc. Apart from that I'm easy going, clean, and have lived in shared houses for the last couple of years. Looking to move in asap :)
I'll be returning from working at the Adelaide Fringe around 20th March. I'm hoping to find a room in a place - with locals or other out-of-towners - close to some Melbourne action. I have to be close to public transport as I don't have a car. I'm from Glasgow, but have been based in Melbourne since April. As well as occasional festival work I temp in offices. I'm generally out quite a lot, working and taking advantage of what Melbourne has to offer, but I'm always keen to make new friends and to have company on my wee jaunts! I'm the usual things - polite, clean and respectful, as well as very quiet when coming in from a night out. I'm also pretty laid-back and enjoy having a giggle over a glass of wine or two and some art/literature/film/random chat.
I'm 22, from the UK, currently working as an admin assistant in the CBD. I'm super chill, easy going, love to cook and enjoy socializing and having a few drinks at the weekend but obviously respect other peoples privacy too!
-looking for room with ensuite bathroom- 23 Years Old AFL/sport Fanatic Easy going Full Time Worker Hey i'm Jack, I'm laid back, no fuss kind of guy. Happy to have a chat and smash out the new episode of Game of Thrones or watch all games of AFL on a weekend if you wanted. I won't be a secluded creep who hides in his room and won't talk to you. I work full time and play a bit of sport, so i keep myself busy and won't be laying on the couch all the time. I've got all my own stuff from my previous living arrangements so won't need the room furnished! Keen to have a place that isn't further than 15 minutes from freeway, as the commute to work is already shit without the addition of Melbourne traffic. All in all i'm easy to get along with, respectful of your privacy and a pretty funny guy. So if you have a spare room that needs filling, i'd love to have a chat and go from there!
We're a couple of hardworking Uni students that are looking for future flatmates pronto! We're both from out of country but have lived here for over ten years and love this country. Aidan comes from a quiet English/Italian background and is a massive history and theatre buff. I (Kelsey) am into creative arts and science and come from an English/French Canadian/New Zealand background. We're looking for someone who would be happy living with a couple that enjoy their quiet time as well as time together with the housemates for dinners or movie nights. Not really the partying type, but will come around given the right incentive, aka food and good gin :), but otherwise very quiet people who understand that people need their breathing room.
Hi! My name is Luana, I'm from Brazil and I've come to Melbourne to study Film and TV at Deakin University. In Brazil I used to work as a film editor and producer, also working as an Elementary art teacher. I'm now living in a sharehouse with a couple but I'll have to move shortly. I love pets, chocolate, films and culture. I am organized, tidy, creative, respectful, shy but also friendly. I am not a very party/drink girl, but sometime I might accept a drink. As filmmaker and producer in Brazil, I used to work with a lot of people that had different thoughts and backgrounds than mines. Still, we were able to maintain a respectful and peaceful relationship, and I want to preserve this with new friends and housemates.
Mark, 39, work part time, study and also commencing new business for the law industry. I'm friendly, trust worthy, honest, respectful, reliable, social, easy to get on with. I hoping to find something located in the inner city suburbs (preferably south yarra) so I have easier access to work and uni, but I am happy to look at all the options. Happy to look at teaming up too for a new property. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers
I am currently looking to move into the South Yarra area which I have grown to love for it’s culture and vibrancy over the last few years living here in Melbourne. Being within walking distance to resources such as a train stops, supermarkets, shops, eateries, bars and parks is really important to me. Ideally I want something long term. I enjoy a space that is a sanctuary. I have a very active life so I like to come home to a peaceful environment where I can unwind. I do my socialising outside of the home but like to live with people that I have a good rapport with. People who are friendly and easy to get along with. It would so great if they are open to sharing a cheeky bev and debrief after a long day. I have a very easygoing nature. I tidy up after myself and am considerate. I’m someone who needs my own space to recharge the batteries so I can recognise that in others and respect their needs. I’m not someone who bounces out of bed. Actually, I’m fairly unresponsive first thing in the morning. It’s nothing personal and I’m not grumpy, I just absolutely need coffee before my eyes can sparkle. A little bit more about me: I am an ex-events manager who threw in the towel a couple of years ago and decided to tackle a complete career change. I am currently in my final 6 months of study to be a nurse and loving my new direction if life. I also work part time at a local hospitality business. I don’t have a lot of free time these days but when I do, I mostly catch up with friends. Coming directly from a share house, I would prefer to live with just one other person but open to living with two others if the environment is right :) Please feel free to contact me for any further information. I like to meet people in person and have a conversation about dynamics though. Either way, I look forward to getting to know my future housemate!
I’m Mhairi (pronounced like Harry, but with an M), from Edinburgh, Scottish through and through. 22, turning 23 in March. I’m currently working as a receptionist in an advertising agency by Southbank and looking to move out of my 12 bed dorm and into my own room where I can crash about as much as I like without worrying about waking the guy in the bunk above. Being Scottish, I’m naturally very outgoing and kind (Scots are known for their kindness, look it up). As an experienced Office Manager in fast paced ad agencies I’m also very organised, tidy and respectful. Not going to lie, I love a drink on the weekend and if you’re looking for an entertaining night out I’m your gal but during the week I’m likely to be quietly sipping a wine before bed as I have work early in morning. Favorite food: Steak or pizza, its too hard to pick just one. Hobbies: Reading, karaoke, cleaning (I love the smell of bleach, is that weird?) Favorite book: Kay Scarpetta Series – Patricia Cornwell. Read all of them, currently on book 19 of 24 Favorite music: All genres, literally listen to anything! From Justin Bieber to Slipknot. The Smiths to Steely Dan. Favourite colour – ATM.. red. But you’ll usually find me in all black. If you’re looking for someone who’s going to sit in their room silent and only whisper when they talk that’s not me and I’m sorry for wasting your time. BUT if you’re looking for a girl who can talk the back legs off a donkey, is known as the mother of the dorm for her cooking, cleaning and beauty services and was asked to be bingo bitch for the hostels bingo night because she’s such a good host, then I am the flatmate for you.
Hi there! I am a grad student in my last semester studying a Master of Environment at Uni Melbourne. I work full-time in hospitality and volunteer with a few environmental organisations in my spare time. While studying, work and the gym keeps me busy most days, I am always interested in sharing a meal and discussing life over glass of wine. I love to cook, am clean --but not OCD-- respectful of your private space and always up for exploring Melbourne. While I love my current apartment in Prahran, I have to leave because my landlord is moving his ageing parents into my unit. As a result, I have an apartment full of furniture, kitchen appliances, a large TV and much more that I can add to any home if desired! Cheers, Molly
23 from England, working full time until June. I am still backpacking so like to try and stay busy and do things / go for drinks at the weekend, However at the same time I like my own personal downtime and will be trying to save as much money as possible over the next three months before I relocate to Sydney. I have stayed in shared houses since I was 18 and I am very aware of shared house etiquette and I want to live in a comfortable and clean environment. It would be great to live with a welcoming , friendly person / people and lock in a nice place to spend my last few months in Melbourne :) If you are interested in having me, feel free to give me a message so we can discuss anything in further detail. Thankyou.
I’m quiet and like to keep to myself but am always happy to socialise and enjoy weekends. I will be studying full time in Prahran beginning February, I work part time in Carrum, and I have two beautiful female kittens. I would prefer for my budget of $250 to cover rent, bills, and internet if possible but am happy to talk about that later. I’ve grown up on the Mornington Peninsula and I love to spend time with friends, take photos, and discover new things.

Looking to move in around the beginning of March, but can be flexible with dates. We're easy going, tidy and up for a good laugh.
I am a 21 year old german student and man, I love dancing! I am just not very good at it haha. I am very active and love exploring, cooking (which I would love doing for my flatmates) and photography. I would consider myself a very respectful, clean but fun flatmate. My home should be a "safe heaven". But of course I'd love to have friends over and want you to feel free to do the same. If you think this could work please let me know and I come for a viewing ASAP.
