Hey all, I am sports scientist/dietician who runs my own business as well as a contractor to large organizations. I love to live a healthy lifestyle and spend a lot of my spare time out on my bike or at the gym. I have two beautiful Labradors aka furkids and am looking for someone who is open to having them around the house. I'm open to also finding a new lease with someone to get the perfect place. NB- my dogs are non-negotiable and I am not open to considering a place that I am not able to have my dogs at when they are with me. What am I looking for? I'm wanting to move in with someone who shares a love of all things health. I like to go out and socialise but also love to stay home and watch a movie and cook a delicious meal. I'm definitely not a party animal so and not looking to live with one either. I am clean/tidy and would need to live with someone who is considerate and tidy. Home should be a place where you can relax so someone I get along with however we don't have to live out of each other's pockets. A nice balance would be ideal :) **UPDATE** please note I am currently looking at properties (houses) in the inner East and South East to rent and also open to looking for a room mate(s)
Hi Future Flatmates My name is Sarah and I'm relocating back to Melbourne from Sydney for work. I'm friendly, considerate and clean (but not OCD clean). I will be working as a project manager M-F , so I keep low key weekdays but like to pack the weekends full of bar and food exploration activities. Some hobbies include cooking, going to the gym (this will be a new start hobby), Netflix & travelling - saving my annual leave for a trip to South/Central America. Looking for like minded roommates who would like to share a meal/wine/go to a gig from time to time but are also mindful of downtime. Also looking for an unfurnished room. I'm very flexible with move in dates as I get some accommodation free with work. Moving down to Melbourne on the 11th so can start doing inspections from then (or Skype is also ok). Give me a buzz if you want to know anything else/set up a meeting Cheers Sarah
**MOVE IN DATE AROUND THE 15TH OF AUG** Hi! I'm moving to Melbourne from Hobart and looking for an easy house to slot into. Ideally i am looking for a house that is also a 'home', and I would want to be good friends with my housemates (also have friends in Melbourne so ~no pressure~). I'll be working full time in South Melbourne but am willing to commute for the perfect house. I like going for beers at any opportunity i can, but also having a quiet night in. I like crafts and have my own little side business for fun, I play drums in a Hobart band (playing in Melb in Nov!) and am looking forward to finding the perfect ~melbourne coffee~. I have lived in many share houses (went to uni in Brisbane) so I am very respectful of peoples spaces and love a clean shared area.
Hi, my name is Kris and I am a chilled and easy going professional guy. I am 29 years old (big 30 not too far away) I enjoy keeping fit, cooking, socialising and travelling. if I did not work out I would be the size of a house as I just absolutely love good food. I have just received the incredible news that my visa has been approved for Melbourne and I cannot wait to explore what the city has to offer. I am moving to Melbourne from Scotland in Aug 2017 and looking for a place asap. I will be working late most days in the office and will be out and about at weekends exploring but would love to hang out when we are free. I am looking for an easy going flat mate who is clean and respectful and would like to get the odd beer/dinner together and is just a generally cool person.
Hi, I'm Trisha, 26, from Ireland. I recently relocated to Melbourne and am looking for social housemate(s) to share the occassional glass of wine or meal with. I work as a physiotherapist so mainly Monday - Friday 9-5, in the evenings I like to go to the gym, cook and relax. Weekends are for catching up with friends, brunch and drinks.
Hi, I'm Kon, a Bassist who is very sociable, easygoing, vibrant, respectful and has a good sense of humour. Originally I'm Thai but grew up in New Zealand. I lived in Sydney for about five years, worked full time as well as studied and travelled around. Now studying part time and working full time in a hotel on Chapel St. I'm gonna live in Melbourne for at least three years to continue my music career. I'm in love with Reggae and Funk music (actually all genres but these genres are on top), I also love Art, animals, psychology, philosophy, being with people and drinking. Cheers
Hello there people of Melbournia, I am on the lookout for a spacious room in South Yarra (or as close as) to share a home with some lovely people to share a home with. Move in by early August! I'm the kind of housemate who's guilty pleasure is trashy T.V, will keep the fridge stocked with hummus and can make a mean avocado on toast. I am a young full time professional, working as a Marketing Assistant as well as running my own business; Board Art Melbourne. I'm hoping someone will read this and think "what a coincidence I have a room AND it's in South Yarra (or as close as) I'm going to message Claire because she sounds awesome." MESSAGE ME :D
Hey! I'm 25 and work as a Physio assistant at the Alfred. Try to keep things chill during the week with the odd dinners out here and there, but live for the weekend to chill, have a few bevys or watch the footy. Wouldn't call myself a gym junkie, but do enjoy excercising. Also enjoy cooking 👌 I have a couch, fridge and washing machine if that helps too 😊
Hey, I'm Viola! I am a 26-yr professional working full-time in Southbank. Currently looking for a nice place to stay. I have a double bed, a chest of drawers, a dressing table and a side table, so I can take care of my bedroom furniture. Ideally looking for a place close to work, apartment would be good. I have recently bought a new car, so off street parking will be a bonus point. I am an honest person with mutual respect to others, keen on keeping the room and the house clean, not a party-animal but would love to have a meal or a drink and chat about life occasionally. In my spare time, I like to swim, play badminton or watch some good movies, catching up with friends. I am an easy going person, enjoy a laugh but also understand private spaces. I am looking for a private room with maximum 3 people including me in the house or apartment in Melbourne city, but I will consider areas close by if there is convenient public transport. If you have a room available and think I would be a potential housemate, please send me a message and I will check your listing. Have a wonderful day :) Viola
Hey! If you've got a nice spacious room coming up for a good time gal who loves paying bills on time, being tidying, having major yarns, eating carbs by the spaceship load then lets catch up yea? But if you're also someone/peoples who loves personal space and just chilling then that's awesome too, I can fully respect that! I've got a budget of $360 per week for a sweet spot!
Hi I'm out going mindful of others ,love cooking, reading, watching movies, riding my pushie ,and when cooking clean as I go .I'm currently on the pension which is 1000 + a fortnight and looking to go back to work .For 20 years it was hospitality in Sydney and the UK , 3 seasons on a prawn trawler out of cairns and fruit and veg picking west of cairns , worked for my cousin wiring new homes . I have lived in Hong Kong , Singapore , Rabaul , Port Morsbey , Muscat , Abu Dhabi , Q.L.D , N.S.W , VIC, and the U.K . and born in Sydney . I feel I'm well rounded and understanding of others , if I don't understand I will use the phrase from my LEAST LIKED politician ,( please explain ) so I might understand THEIR point of view. Best Regards , Aaron. ps I'm looking for an unfurnished room.
HI LOVELY PEOPLE! I'm looking for housemates to move into a place on the southside with me! If you'd like me to send you the links to some of the properties I'm going to be applying for, send me a message. Plan is to find a place in the next few weeks and move in within the next month or so. On Saturday the 1st I'll probably be going to a few inspections and I'd love if some potential housemates would come along 💕💕💕
I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable and respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm most often away with work and at the gym and attending other social events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) BTW I'm also quite flexible with the move date (any weekend or week day until 5/8) and length of stay. I can potentially stay much longer than 6 months - just thought that might be a good length of time to start on. I'm also very pet friendly in case you have pets. Feel free to contact me on my mobile if you think my details fit your situation and you'd like to organize a visit.
Hi guys , 24 year old registered nurse hoping to relocate from Adelaide, will be working full time 9-5 so no shift work. Very easy going, clean and respectful, love to go out for dinner and have a few quiet wines, not a big partier. I have a 3 year old french bulldog named Curtis I am hoping to bring with me, he is super friendly very cheeky and fully house trained, however would need to be kept inside or have access in hot weather as his breed dies in the heat, so this would need to be considered. Message me if this sounds applicable for you :)
I am a 22 year old student from Sydney, who has lived in Melbourne for the past 3 years finishing an undergrad in Psychology at unimelb. I am back in my favourite city for 3 months working in a 9-5 internship position looking for a friendly, preferably mainly female, sharehouse to kick back in after a long day of work. I'm a laid back, open minded and clean person who probably wont be around much, but loves the occasional chat and wine.
Hiya!! We are a couple in our late 20's moving to Melbourne at the end of September from Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for a nice room/home to rent when we first arrive. Ideally for the first 1-2 months while we find something permanent but would consider something more long term if it worked out!! We are both pretty chilled, very considerate, super clean and tidy and pay rent and bills on time. We have been to Melbourne a couple of times but are looking forward to really getting to know what Melbourne has to offer!! I (Jamie) will be starting a new job with a company in South Melbourne, working full time Mon-Fri, Thomas is a musician/producer/DJ and has a few things lined up when we first arrive but given his line of work his working hours are flexible. We are looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, respectful of people's own time and privacy but do enjoy a glass of red wine and good chats from time to time!! (and we are both animal lovers if you have a furry addition). During the week we are pretty quiet with work, the gym and chilling at home. In the weekends we love going out for meals, heading to the beach and when we move exploring our new city!! Ideally it would be great to be near public transport so we can find our way around when we first arrive before we buy a car. Any questions just let us know!! Also happy to Skype/facetime to meet before we arrive! Thanks:)
Hi guys! I come with two very adorable animals! A staghound named Obi who loves daily walks and lots of cuddles, and a gorgeous kitty named Snookie who never bites or scratches - they are perfect :) I also come with a piano and other furniture that I would love to share with my housemates! I work as a teacher so paying rent won't be an issue; neither will paying bills. Always happy to have a chat but I also love to read and do other quiet activities. Not even close to being labelled a party animal, but I definitely love social outings to the movies, theatre and live music concerts. It would be fantastic if I could come and check out your place, or join with someone to lease a place. Hope to hear from you soon! Bethany
Hi Everyone! We are moving interstate from NSW and in desperate need of place to move in by early August. We prefer a space wholly for ourselves and with a parking facility. If not we wouldn't mind sharing a house or apartment with private room, but we do need space for our stuffs like a fridge, washing machine, and a TV. Both of us are working full time and willing to explore the city in the weekend. Please message us if you are looking for something similar. thanks
I'm very easy going and active. I work full time for my own business, often work late nights and Saturdays, I go out a lot with friends or go to gym/yoga, so I'm hardly ever home. Looking to live with a 1 female, who is also active, doesn't stay home all the time, but sometimes enjoys dinners and class of wine with me. I don't mind pets, love them. Someone who is also easy going and fun. Ideally looking for nice and cute furnished room with flexible lease terms. I work in Prahran, close to Chapel street, so anything that is not too far from Prahran and Chapel street is perfect. My current lease will end on the 21st of August, so looking to move in either on the 20th or 21st.
I am from Korea and I love traveling. I especially like to meet local people who live in that city. And that's why I came to Melbourne as an exchange student. I wanted to experience real Aussie life by living with them for few months. And yeah past few months here in Australia were the best days of my life. And now I am about to start a new life with working holiday visa. I like small talk and finding a good restaurants or cafes in new place. To be honest, I am not a tidy person but! at some point when I feel it's unbearable, I am the first person who clean up everything so don't worry:)
Hi! I work full time in Abbotsford in a media marketing agency. I am a total summer baby - sun, sea, surf, you name it... I love a cook up and chilling out mid week to then be pretty tempted to see where wines take me at the weekends. Used to live in Elwood then Chapel Street and I am currently/temporarily living in a mates house in Brighton, but I am getting desperate to find a home (anything from 6 months to a year stay). So someone please take me in :) I am a super clean housemate and respectful of peoples homes that welcome me in x
Looking for two private semi-furnished or furnished bedrooms. We are students from Monash University. Looking for a long term stay. Working part time. In our free time we love to go explore the city or go on random treks. Love music and food. Promise to keep the place neat and tidy! :)
