Hi, we are a couple looking for a room somewhere in or around Melbourne with great connections to the city (preferably close to trains) since we are both studying and working in and around the city. We would prefer to not pay more than 300 per week for both of us, but can be discussed. There is Frida who is 21 years old from Sweden, and Russell who is 22 from outside of Melbourne. We are a friendly and social couple who would love to be friends and hang out with the people we live with but at the same time have respect for our privacy since we will have a lot of studying to do. Other than that, we are two normal students who likes to have fun and hang out, go out once in a while and not just sit at home. If we sound like the people for you, then we'd love to hear from you! :)))
Hey! We're currently in Australia on a Working Holiday Visa and we'd like to settle in Melbourne for 6-10 months whilst we work. We're looking for a room with a double bed and enough space for the two of us. We're both recent uni graduates (well we graduated 2 years ago but we can still say recent can't we?!) who have been working in support work and events whilst we saved for a bit of traveling. We've both lived in shared houses before and understand all of the unwritten rules that go with it. As a few examples, we know how important it is to respect other people's personal space and we're super clean and tidy, taking our fair share in chores (we can't live in mess!). We're social and both like a drink (both in a bar and whilst on the sofa watching Netflix) but do like time to ourselves too. However, we're after flatmates we can really get along with! If you think you'd like to live with us, we'd love to hear from you.
I am a respectful 19 years old Norwegian, who get's along with almost everyone. I am starting my studies at the University of Melbourne in February 2017. I am going to study bachelor of science and hopefully my master degree as well at the University of Melbourne. I like to work out and play soccer. I am a social guy, and in my spare time I am always up for a drink and a chat! However i am very respectful for the privacy of others! I have never surfed before, but are very interested in learning how to.

23 year old, new to Melbourne. Recently graduated from University on the Gold Coast and spent a good chunk of 2016 traveling the USA. Vegetarian and massive animal lover aka crazy dog lady. I will be working full time, Tuesday-Saturday, and will spend a fair bit of time away from the house. During the week I'm a bit of a nanna and will go to the gym most days and love to watch movies or cringe reality TV and cozy up on the couch. I also love a glass of red, a cheese board and a dance. I hate mess, love natural lights and plants :)
Hi future housemate(s) ! I'm a 26 y/o female who just moved back to Aus after living in the states for 23 years (!!). I'm currently living up in Eltham with family friends, but will be starting an 18 month Diploma of Nursing course in Box Hill (in early Feb), so looking to move closer to school (on the same train/tram lines) + closer to the city to get a more authentic feel of Melbourne livin' :) I'm a positive, open-minded, very easy-going, warm and friendly person. Love meeting new people and getting to know them/their stories, but also love time to myself/my independence, so I enjoy a balance. I take responsibility for keeping my own space clean and tidy, as well as doing my part in communal areas. I'm hard working and will be very focused on school, but also love to take it easy and enjoy good company too. Photography, pilates, traveling, camping, plants/nature, the cosmos, bbq's, hiking, pescatarian (almost full veg), music festivals, energy healing/reiki, meditation, glass of red wine, animals, kindness and authenticity... a few bits and pieces of my life :) Hoping to find someone (or a few!) to share, live and grow with!
Hi I am a 25 year-old professional soon to be working in Melbourne. I have been renting with friends and others for the last 5 years and have had a great experience every time. I am a Law/Commerce graduate currently working full-time in Brisbane. I am moving to Melbourne through an internal transfer with my company. I start work on the 30th of Jan, 2017, so hoping to be settled in a new place in Melbourne by then. I am a relaxed individual who enjoys being social but also appreciates peace and quiet as I often work long hours with my job. Love a glass of wine, the occasional netflix show, bars and cafes. I also love to stay active and eat healthy. I prefer a clean household, where all housemates are willing to equally share all cleaning duties. I am looking for a like-minded individual to share a house with. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions :)
Looking for a room preferably in a 2 room apartment... I'm very easy to get along with and try to avoid conflict at all times. I like to keep fit during the week and do a bit of interstate travelling for work. I can quite easily keep to myself and socialise with who I'm living with when appropriate. Looking for like minded people that are settled and not looking to party every night
Hi! I'm a 22-year-old student from Finland but I live and study Food & Nutrition in Uppsala, Sweden. I'm coming to Melbourne to do an exchange semester at Deakin university. I love: to cook, dance, travel, read, Netflix&chill and run. I'm tidy (but not too tidy), I'm social but love to be by myself every once in a while. And I love dogs! Love, Emma

I'm a single female from Adelaide who will be moving to Melbourne in February to start a new role at work in the marketing team. I'll be working Monday to Friday in an office in South Melbourne, so I'm looking for somewhere inner-city for a short commute. I'm super friendly and easy going, I'll happily enjoy sitting down for a cuppa and a chat but also appreciate my own time and space. I do like to keep a relatively clean and tidy house within reason, and I appreciate housemates who do the same. I like to keep active by going for walks/bike rides and adventures, I love boutique coffee, fresh food, board games and baking :)
I will be moving to Melbourne to start a new full time job in early February - but am looking to move at the end of January. I'm friendly, respectful and tidy. Hey guys! A bit about me. I’m a messy, inconsiderate jerk who hates fun yet for some reason is constantly bringing the party home. Kidding! My name is Tom, I’m 19 from London, and was recently moved to Melbourne by my company. My hobbies include going gym, football or soccer as you call it, rugby, IT software & hardware, Ancient Greek & Roman history, binge watching tv shows and recently have found that coffee is amazing. I am a tidy person, however if there is ever a small mess it is kept to my own room. I enjoy a drink or two on the weekends, a good chat, but also enjoy a bit of me time. Send me a message if you want to know anything else about me!

Looking for a place inner South/South East by the 28th of January (or as close too). Look forwards to hearing from you! Snippet : Young male professional looking to move to a location in the inner-south/south-east of Melbourne to be closer to work (Brighton), in an unfurnished room from early January. Hey there, so you are probably wondering what makes me great to live with. Well, thankfully, there is an obligatory section for such a response! I am an energetic and active person, who likes to exercise and get out socially. I am respectful and clean housemate who has been sharing accommodation for the last 5 years in Melbourne, and enjoy sharing my hobbies and experiences, whist appreciating the need for space and downtime. During the week, I am a busy professional (Secondary Teacher) and spend my evenings training for upcoming triathlons and seeing friends. The weekend is much the same, although I do like to go bush-walking and travel around. Hobbies and interests include, music (playing guitar), seeing theater and gigs, watching footy/cricket, I also spend time reading and writing. I am looking for a place until mid 2017 (min 6 months) with the potential for longer pending my work. I would prefer a room with some sun, and a house with modern appliances (I do like to cook ) and a location near to some cafes/shops. I also have a car - so would need a place to park. My ideal housemate(s) would be 25-35, male or female, work full time, have some hobbies and interests to share, enjoy socialising on occasion - and in general just enjoy life and having a good time. If you think this fits you, or vice versa let me know.
Looking to find an 2 bedroom house/apartment in the areas listed to share with a friend. We could be interested in teaming up with one more person or moving into an established home.

I have recently graduated from University with a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Media and Communication and I am looking to further my career in a new city! When I have a spare moment I love to go adventuring and hiking out in nature. I also enjoy yoga, cooking and writing in my free time :)

Helloo, We are a young couple moving from a small beach town near Byron Bay to Melbourne in February. We have just had a year off doing full time work, and travelling Europe together for 4 months. We are laid back, friendly, independent and clean. We love cooking for ourselves and others, having a drink, relaxing with some nice tunes, and taking our 2 year old Boxer dog out. We both have artistic hobbies, that usually take up a lot of our free time, but we also love gathering with friends and having a fun night out (or in). Zeus is our 2 year old Boxer Dog. We absolutely love him and couldn't imagine living without him. He is well trained, loving, and extremely entertaining. Zeus will need a yard, although we are not all that worried on the size, as we take him out everyday. We will be super excited to hear from anyone who is also looking for a pet friendly abode. Our budget is around $350 for the 2 of us.

Hello :) Ajay and I are looking for a third awesome flatmate to join us in a house/townhouse in Richmond (or a surrounding suburb close to a train station/tram line). We've just started looking for a new place to live. Our current lease is up this Friday and I'd like to move closer to my business in Richmond. We are two friends, professionals employed full time, who are fun, hard working, very clean and reliable. We pay bills on time and are very house proud. We are looking at 3 bed, 2 bathroom places around the $240-250 mark per week each but I'm happy to pay more for ensuite and parking if we find something good. If anyone would like to start up a new house get in touch! You must like animals, having a laugh and looking for friends rather than just flatmates. We love living together and would love to find another awesome friend to live with!
Hey, my name is Aaron, I'm 22 years old. I am currently studying law at Monash University and looking for a place to live that is closer to my uni. I enjoy going to the gym and keeping fit. Will probably spend most of the time during the week studying but always keen to go out and have fun on weekends. Parking is required.
*** Please no room shares :) *** Independent but always down for a catch up and adventures to places I haven't been in Melbourne yet. I'm originally from NZ but spent most of the year travelling through the UK and Aus. Working full time in business development and finishing my masters thesis which keeps me busy but I also like to get out and about in the weekends with my friends. I also play netball and beach volley competitively so ideally looking for a flat with like-minded individuals who keep active. Enjoy a good vino and a catch-up after work sometimes plus I'm not shy for a dance out from time to time but I prefer a good bar or pub over the clubs these days. I also love food and coffee and am always down for a brunch mission.. Looking for somewhere long term 6 months+ and would ideally like to move in with people my age as I intend to make friendships as well as flatmates.
Hi, I’m Edwina. I’m a happily single 32 year old who is looking for a place close to the city as I work at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, so would love to have a short commute; being close to public transport, preferably a train station, is a must for me. I have been living in Windsor for the past 5 or 6 years with my sister, but she has decided to move out with her boyfriend and I decided I want a change of scenery as well. I have made my rent budget $200 p/w but could possibly go up to $240 if I really loved the place, the people in it and it checked all the boxes. I am a neat and clean person who likes to have an organised but relaxed home. I am respectful of other people’s privacy and space because I expect the same thing. I am easy going and relatively introverted and am pretty much a homebody, but do enjoy a good laugh and being around fun loving and positive people, so would be up for a pub meal or a picnic in a park or a movie/live show. I can never really be bothered cooking fancy things but I do love to bake, and more importantly eating whatever I bake. Other than my love for cake, I am pretty healthy and fit. I like to work out most days and do a circus class once a week; in my spare time you can probably find me standing on my hands. Just some warnings: I love meat so if you’re a vegetarian you may not be able to stand my cooking and if you’re a smoker I will hit you over the head and try and knock some sense into you, so probably not the ideal housemate for you either. I am looking for something long term, in a place where I can feel at home and where my housemates could also be friends.
Hi, I'm a 21 year old Danish girl who has been living in Melbourne for the past 4 months, I'' looking for a room in the southern suburbs, where I can stay preferably until winter! I'm very easy going, likes fun nights out but also chilled night and privacy

23 year old Nurse from Launceston, Tasmania, moving to Melbourne to start a full time position at Cabrini Hospital in Malvern in February. I have an extroverted personality, and can usually hold conversation with anyone. I'm very tidy, and usually clean up after myself as I go, but am not over the top. I pay all bills as they come in and don't mind the occasional friendly banter between housemates, but respect privacy.
Hi Guys, My name is Rochelle, I am 26 years old and have just come back from a year long break travelling in Central and South America. Before travelling I was based in Annandale, Sydney and had a successful real estate career in Mosman. I am looking to relocate to Melbourne and continue working in the real estate industry however in a more behind the scenes, Monday to Friday role. My main interests are health and fitness, live music, the beach, food and socialising. I am very career and fitness motivated and spend most of my time working, at the gym or going on spontaneous adventures. I am neat and tidy, very considerate of others and personal space however love a bit of banter over a wine or dinner. Please feel free to contact me if you have a room available or are interested in teaming up and leasing a place together. Ideally a 2 bed, 2 bath place would be ideal as I love to have my own bathroom. I have a lot of friends in Melbourne however as I am relocating I would prefer someone who has similar interests and that I could potentially become good friends with. Cheers, Rochelle.
Hey...i'm 27 from the UK and spent my first year in Aus (Melbourne for the most of it) last year. I'm moving back and will be living in Melbourne long term from Feb. I work for WWF the charity and in my spare time I love checking out places to eat as i'm a massive foodie but also love to cook, yoga and staying healthy, good old netflix, meeting new people and love to socialise but also don't mind my alone time. I have lived in a shared house before and i'm not afraid to get stuck into a clean when it's needed. Looking to live with like minded, fun and happy people. Look forward to hearing from you :)
Hi im Stu Im tidy, friendly, love chatting with new people and having a laugh. Im new to Melbourne so looking forward to getting around and having alook. I love my sports weather it's playing or watching. Don't mind having a few quiet drinks weather it's at home or the local pub.
I'll be in Melbourne on a working holiday visa starting towards the end of February, but I'm looking to establish a settled life for the time I'll be there (I'm shooting for around 6 months at the moment). I'm from the US, and have been working in the hospitality/tourism industry in California and Colorado since I graduated from university a few years ago. I'm an avid reader and like to run, hike, and generally be active, but I also love a good Netflix binge. Brunch is my favorite past time. I'm ideally looking for a furnished room in a friendly flat, with people who like to hangout together but also respect personal time - I'm sociable but do like to have time to myself sometimes. I like to cook and bake, so as my flatmate(s), expect treats! I'm a generally tidy person, and have no qualms about pitching in to clean. I'm not a huge party person but do enjoy having friends over or going out for dinner and drinks. I plan on spending my weekends exploring and getting to know Melbourne. If you'd like more info, please message me!
Hello everyone! I am a very chill dude from the US who is just looking for a short term place for 3 weeks as I move between housing. I would like somewhere that is close to the CBD as that is where I work. I am super tidy (perhaps too much), respectful, and fun. I work during the day so you might not really see me around a lot but when I am, I'm always down for a good banter sesh, good meal, etc. Feel free to message me at anytime and I'll try to get back to you ASAP. Thanks!
I'm 26, from Copenhagen, Denmark. I've been living in Melbourne the past 2 years, working full time, mainly in the kitchen of renowned restaurant, Attica. I've done 3 months of travelling all around Australia in a van, and then back for Christmas in Europe for 1,5 months. Now I'm back and I need a place to call home. I'm fun, open minded, clean and tidy. I enjoy time with friends and a chat over a beer or two, but also cherish my time alone :) I work Tuesday - Saturday, mostly 15 hours a day, so I'm pretty much always at work. Awesome personality, very easy going and fun to chill out with ! :) Love to chat and have an occasional boogie✌🏻
We are moving from London to Autralia next week and are looking for somewhere as a base. We're both easygoing, active, tidy and sociable and would like to find flatmates who like to enjoy gossiping in the evening over food and a drink (Basil is an excellent cook!) and can tell us a little about all the brilliant things there are to do in and around Melbourne!
Hey there! I'm a medical student completing a research year at the Alfred Hospital, after which I will complete my final year of my studies. I also work part time in hospitality. As such, I lead a pretty busy lifestyle, but you can rest assured that I'm a very caring, organised and responsible housemate to have. :) I'd say I'm easy going and respectful. I love spending time with others, having a meal, chat and a laugh together, as well as spending time on my own. I would love to get to know my housemates - going on adventures, brunching, or just kicking back with some Netflix. :) Other than studying, I do aerial silks and hoop (as a form of dance and exercise), go to the gym, catch up with friends, explore Melbourne's best brunches, cook and sleep. I like to live a healthy lifestyle, so most of what I cook will be only good, healthy stuff. I do love to whip up a delicious cheesecake every now and then though! I'm not a party animal - especially not during the week! - but don't mind a social gathering. I can be outgoing, and pretty quiet. I have lived out of home since 18, so I can confirm, I am trained in housemate rules. Would love someone who likes being active to go to the gym/ yoga/ someone exercise-y with! Won't lie, I tend to be a morning person!
We are a couple looking for a short term accommodation. We would like a place in the suburbs mentioned above, but we are open for other suburbs too. We are both international students currently studying our master degree in professional accounting. We are respectful and communicative. We also work part time. I'm from India and my girlfriend is from Ecuador. We enjoy our time listening to music and going to the gym and sightseeing.
