Hi, I'm Shane, 23. I study full time at Melbourne Uni and work part-time at weekends. During the weekday, I'm super busy with my essays, but still happy to have a chat or a drink at night. I like cooking and am crazy about food. I prefer long-term stay around one year and hope I can find a place that I can call home:)
Hi! I'm starting as a PhD student at UniMelb, moving to Australia from California. I do work pretty hard but I like to enjoy myself on my time off. I'm looking for some fun roommates to hang out with when I get away from school. I'm a huge fan of surfing, training jiu jitsu, live music, and hanging out at a bar or cafe. I'm generally pretty clean but not a crazy person about cleanliness. Hope to meet some great people in Melbourne!
Hey you! Looking to find my dream home with some good souls! Looking for: A: Peeps to move out with. B: To move into you're current humble abode. Pros - Will bring my Aadams Familiy pinball machine, love a glass of red wine and always willing to share the bottle + I travel a bit for work and you'll get to eat my food when I'm gone. Cons - You will hear the same song I'm editing for music videos on repeat, I will often quote Seinfeld and relate it to our lives, You may be forced to occasionally model or act when I want to go filming. Very laid back and easy going, do like to live in a clean/up kept house as I do work from home. Would also love to live in a place with a few people, as I really do enjoy a social house where we can all chat/cook & share a drink together! My day to day occurrences involve travelling around filming music videos (ie, a freelance cinematographer that works in the film & television industry). Work with some pretty rad people like Peking Duk, The Amity Affliction, MYA, Amy Shark & the like. (You'll always get first access to new songs - just don't tell anyone, aha) You can suss my work here! https://vimeo.com/edreissfilm I have quite a bit of kitchenware including a fridge/microwave, and an Aadams Family pinball machine that i'm happy to add into the mix & spark up the house over a pinball tournament or two! Otherwise unneeded items can be stored/sold if need be before I move. HMU if I fit your vibe and lets have a drink together!
So I'm not great at writing these blurbs, because honestly it's hard to make oneself sound cool and exciting, but also responsible and mature at the same time, all without sounding overly cliché! Basics about me, I'm a 30 year old student at Unimelb and I work part-time. I'm really easy to live with, and I've lived in share houses for over ten years now, the last four in Melbourne. I like my quiet (since there's much studying to be done!), but I'm also always keen for a chat, a shared meal or binge-watching TV shows (I come with a Netflix subscription). I like to cook, and I quite often engage in destress-baking and procrasta-cleaning (I know it's weird, but doing dishes especially is therapeutic!). Feel like I've rambled a bit here, and yet unsure if I've said too much or not enough! Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. Hope to hear from you soon.
I'm an interior designer with a passion for all things design. Love cooking up a storm for family and mates(with a glass of vino in hand of course)and generally being social. I have a good sense of humour and try my best not to take life too seriously. I'm available end mid to end of June
Hi! My name is Rosalie and I am a 19-year-old Liberal Arts and Sciences student from the Netherlands. I will be studying at Melbourne Uni for one semester from July onwards and will be focusing on law and international relations. I am looking for a furnished room in a cozy (student)house to stay in for +/- 6 months. My hobbies include playing the piano, dancing, reading, and rowing. Back home I row on a competitive level and would love to continue rowing whilst being in Melbourne (on a less intensive level though)! This means that I cannot go out and party every day but I would love to have some flatmates who want to have dinner together and are in for the occasional drink or even want to go on trips through Australia. I am looking forward to my time in Melbourne and hope to find some flatmates who will make my time there unforgettable!
Hi, I'm moving to Melbs mid-June to start my PhD. Looking for a private room for a few months, ideally longer if it's a good fit. I'll be studying full-time and likely will get a part time position, too. I've lived with flatmates for most of my adult life (and shared a room growing up), so I am pretty well house trained - tidy and respectful. I'm relocating from bush Alaska, where I've lived for the past few years. For fun, I run, spin, and practice yoga, also like to catch up with friends over coffee, go see live music, etc. Overall, I'm pretty low key and like to live with people who value similar easygoingness. Let me know if you have something in mind.
Hello! Andres here, Colombo-Australian, environmental professional working in Government. Into well-being, fitness, film, healthy constructive debate, and friendly folk. Bit of a leftist, but work hard to stay open and interested, engaged, and optimistic :) ! I gym regularly and try to do Yoga now and then.
Hi there, my name is Fabian and I'm moving from Germany to Melbourne to do my PhD at UoM. Apart from studying, I would like to get a bike to explore the city, find out why Melbourne is famous for its coffee places and do some sports. I do bouldering on a regular basis, but I also enjoy good food. I currently live in a shared flat in Berlin and would say that I'm a relaxed, tidy and quite clean flatmate.
Hey everyone, my name is Sebastian and I could be your new housemate! I’m a 24 year old looking for a long-term room to call home! I’m a student at VCA studying classical piano and composition. I love cooking great food (which I always share), reading, photography, riding my bike and playing the piano. I’m very tidy and neat and always clean up after myself. I enjoy being sociable but also respect boundaries. Most days I’m at uni or hanging with my partner in Brunswick, exploring great new places to eat and things to do. I’m looking for a relaxed place to live that feels like a home, has great housemates and is close to public transport. I hope I sound like your ideal housemate, feel free to hit me up.
