Personally I am pretty easy going, am Australian but have lived in the Netherlands, Oman, Scotland, France and Sweden, like music, travel, reading, vegetarian food (I don't care what you eat, though. I mean if it's really weird I might judge, but I promise I'll do it silently), podcasts, trying to keep up my French, running and entertain myself by following the trainwreck that is American politics right now. Professionally I'm an electrical engineer (but one of the ones who talks to people, I swear!) going to be working at Telstra next year - if you've had a terrible experience with them I am so sorry, please don't hold it against me! I've previously house-shared with one other person and 9 other people before so have a decent range of experience, am now looking for either a room in a household where vacuuming happens at least sometimes and people clean their dishes before leaving the kitchen, or to team up with someone and rent a place nearish the CBD. Prefer no pets with free rein of the house as sadly I have allergies.
Hello! I am from Bacchus Marsh and am looking for a new place because my landlord is selling the house that I have been living in for the past 18 months. I work at the airport assisting the elderly and disabled passengers. I am employed on a part time basis but receive a lot of hours. I also have a casual job in customer service at the MCG. I am fairly reserved initially and in large group situations but open up once I feel more comfortable. I am quite health conscious and have a strong preference for people that have a positive attitude. I have an interest in most sports. My landlord will happily provide a reference for my history regarding payments, cleanliness etc. Any other information required I'm more than happy to assist!
I work full time as a Restaurant Supervisor in Brunswick while slowly building a clothing brand on the side. My interests are fitness, food (&wine) & fashion. I'm easy going, independent & motivated kind of guy who enjoys socialising while keeping a balance of chill time. I'm clean, tidy & considerate housemate who keeps a positive and friendly vibe.
I'm a student at Melbourne Uni studying Masters of Physics, which takes up most of my time. I'm great with housework. My favourite things to do are settle down with a good book, mindlessly scroll the interwebs, and chatting with friends. I enjoy my music and you will hear me singing/playing the violin (but not in the middle of the night). I also speak mostly fluent Mandarin. I will respect your privacy. Best wishes :)
We are a quiet, friendly couple looking to move into an affordable place closer to our respective places of work and study. We are both easy-going, amicable people who work hard and enjoy spending time with others and alone. My name is Tim, and I am a student at the University of Melbourne, majoring in science. I am from the northern Suburbs (Epping/South Morang) and am looking for a nice little place that will allow me to be closer to the university. Outside of uni, I work as a mathematics and science tutor at a boarding school. In my free time, I enjoy swimming/going to the gym, playing music (but not too loud!), reading, and watching good movies/TV. I am rather introverted as a person, and so I enjoy my privacy, but I am very friendly and enjoy a good conversation. Laetitia, my girlfriend with whom I am creating this listing, is from Switzerland, and she is currently working in hospitality in the CBD. Her training is in the hotel industry. She is super friendly, tidy, and able to get along with just about anyone. She enjoys reading, long conversations, and watching good movies. If you are looking for two friendly, tidy, hard-working people to share a house, we hope we would make great housemates!
Hi I'm Tee, I'm 24 from the UK and I'll be moving to Melbourne in January to start studying veterinary medicine at unimelb. I'm super easy going, very tidy, always up for hanging out - going to gigs or out for drinks. Music is a big deal for me as is red wine! I'll be new to the city and keen to make the most of it!
Hey! I'm a warm, open minded and respectful housemate always up for a good belly laugh, house movie nights, or just chilling on my own in the hammock with a good book. Huge animal lover, so pets are a plus. Vego, but anything but preachy. Musician, but respectful of the quiet hours. Ideally I'd love to find a place with a good garden to help out in, a bath, and I'm hoping for more of a sociable, friendly household; somewhere that's not afraid to go and grab beers together sometimes, while still keeping up a healthy respect for space and privacy too. Not looking for an immediate move, but just testing out the waters, and if the shoe sounds like it fits, let me know!

Hey there! Originally from the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, I'm looking for a place to stay while I finish off my final year of my Master of Engineering degree. I'm very clean, can cook for myself and happy to do laundry. Typically never in a bad mood, I'll usually laugh at anything. Equally happy to have quiet nights in our rooms or spend the night chatting and having a beer. Love to listen to music on my headphones and really enjoy going to see live bands.
I'm Kane, I'm a 26 year old Zoology graduate who works at Telstra and Melbourne Zoo. Ideally looking for something within walking distance of the zoo but not necessarily essential as long as it is reasonable close. I'm extremely tidy and have been living with housemates from when I was 19. I'm looking for something long term as my current housemates are getting their own places. I'm very considerate of others and clean up very diligently, love to head to a good bar but also like to chill at home as well. Would love to find something awesome out there :)
Hi, I'm Brendan and I have recently moved to Melbourne from London on a working holiday visa. I love meeting new people and like to spend time socializing with my flatmates - whether that's at home watching the TV or out for a drink but can equally keep to myself when needed. I like to think I'm easy enough to get along with. I like to keep the house clean so will always clean up after myself, reliable with paying bills on time and will always be respectful of other housemates. I love sports and will happily take part in anything (football, tennis etc) - All the gear but no idea! Also love films - whether its a home on netflix or at the cinema. I have interviews lined up to work as a Research Assistant within Dementia and will be looking to work and rent for around 6 months. If there is anything else you'd like to know then i'm sure we can discuss it :) Happy flatmates.com searching!
Hi! My name is Anna, I'm 20 and have just finished uni. Currently looking for a place to stay for 4-5 months while I work and save some money to go travelling. I love spending time outside and reading in the park, yoga, and catching up with my friends and family. I'm a quiet and considerate housemate, tidy, always clean up after myself and happy to chat. Have been sharing places in Melbourne for 3 years now :)
Hey All! I'm moving to Melbourne from Brissie (although originally from the UK) to study Medicine at the Uni of Melbourne. I'm looking for a room in a houseshare, preferably with own bathroom - although not a deal-breaker, by any means. I'd also be open to starting up a houseshare, if things worked out that way. Because of my studies, I'm looking for somewhere to live that's stable and long-term. I've lived in house-shares for roughly the last three years, so am totally comfortable with that. I definitely like to get to know my housemates, but also like my own space & respect others' privacy. I'll be spending a fair bit of time studying, and I also compete in Olympic Weightlifting, so a lot of time is dedicated to training too. All in all, I'll be out of the house a fair bit! Cheers, Cels
My name is Lizzie. I’m 28 years living in Ascot Vale and am not shy about bribing you with homemade doughnuts. I’m looking for a great and positive household to join and a spacious room for all my interests. My interests are illustrating, reading, nature, people and music. Hope to hear from you!

A little bit about me. -I'm a 25 year old Kiwi who works full time in construction -ive recently returned from two years working in London and travelling Europe -Ive shared a flat before, I'm clean (without the freak) and I'm pretty handy in the kitchen. -I love live music and going to gigs, exploring new areas, lounging around in parks and sinking the occasional beer. -I'm after a social flat where people hang out and occasionally go out together. Doesn't have to be a party all the time just a bit of banter and some laughs. Let me know if you'd like me as your future flatty! :)
