My name is Tamara. I'm 28, and I'm an occupational therapist, working at the Royal Melbourne Hospital 1-2 days a week, and out at a private clinic 3-4 days per week in Deer Park/all over Melbourne. It's a 9-5 job, and I love what I do. My other interests include: anything musical (I play the violin and piano), running, cooking/baking, cycling, hiking, socialising, food/wine and spending time with friends and family. I'm very easy going, I keep things clean, and I'm respectful of others. I've lived in share houses for years and know how to live happily with other people.
Hi I'm Julian, I'm 29 y.o graphic designer — I work full time at a design studio in Collingwood. I work standard hours and keep things pretty low key during the week, though I do enjoy the odd glass of wine in the evenings. On weekends I like to catch up with friends, get out to gigs or exhibitions, catch a film or just hang in the sun, and I play a bit of soccer too. I enjoy the party times but have toned it down a bit in recent years. I'm keen to experience life on the north side, with the added bonus of being closer to work. I'm a pretty easy going guy and prefer living a social environment where sharing meals and a drink or two on the w/e is encouraged.
Moved from Byron bay earlier this year and plan to study in 2017. Im a very relaxed person who loves wine, pasta and tiramisu. I enjoy my own space but also love socialising and seeing friends.
Hello potential future flatmates! My name is Miranda and I am 21 years old. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne and will be completing my degree in June, 2017. After having spent three years in student accommodation, it is well and truly time for me to move out and have the sharehouse experience. I am originally from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne for university and also to embark upon a new adventure. I work part time in a cafe on Sydney Road and I really enjoy my job (for the most part!). I love bad jokes, dogs, travelling (I am off to New Caledonia at the end of November - rejoice!), reading, coffee, food, the odd social drink and meeting new people. My ideal living arrangement would consist of: - Somewhere in the inner-north suburbs (close-ish to uni and work) - Somewhere with public transport nearby (I don't own a car) - A house of 3 - 5 people - Housemates around my age (early - mid twenties) - Other students would be pretty cool, but totally fine if not! - Housemates who are pretty chill with the occasional visit from my parents when they are up from Tassie. - Housemates who are willing to not just be housemates, but friends. I am uncertain about a move-in date as of yet, but I am will be homeless from the 10th of November. I am looking for both summer accommodation or 2017 accommodation. I might be a touch early to the party by putting this up now, but I would rather be safe than sorry. If any of what I have said sounds good to you, feel free to get in touch. I would love to meet you for coffee and get to know you. Have a nice day! :)
I am a friendly, easy-going, fun and empathetic person who loves nature and animals (I am not bringing pet). I am a clean, tidy and organized person. Besides, I love coffee, listen to all kinds of music and going to the gym to maintain a healthy lifestyles. I am open to different kinds of opinions and multicultural perspectives. Besides, I respect other people concerns and privacy. I like to offer help to people in need. I am going to study a Master Degree in Development Studies at the University of Melbourne in early January, 2017. Prior to undertaking this Master Degree, I worked at The Asia Foundation in Cambodia as a Program Officer managing Mobile for Tech for Women Empowerment Program. I will be studying in Melbourne for a year and return back to my home country - Cambodia.

Hola there, I am Theo, a 22 years old french guy who has arrived in Melbourne last year and I’m looking for an accommodation. Currently doing a WorkingHolidayVisa and about to start my 2nd year. I usually work in hospitality (barista and waiter). At the moment, I live in Daylesford (VIC) for regional work, I'm moving to Melb the 2nd of November. Basically I can adjust to any living style though I tend to be a bit more cleanly and tidy. Also, while I love spending time socially with roommates, I am very respectful of boundaries and personal time in shared housing. I have a strong interest in music and in particular electronic musics, collecting tracks. AIso, I love travelling, grabbing a good beer or a good wine in a pub/bar, going to the restaurant (especially after pay day!!!), taking a break in a sunny park, discovering the amazing Melbourne's day & nightlife or hanging out at home as well. I'm pretty flexible actually :) Drop me a line

Heya. I've just moved to Melbourne by way of Brisbane and before that, Canberra, for work with the APS. I'm clean, tidy and bill-punctual, chill, tall and nerdish; a longtalker, deadpan and absurdist banterer, dank meme connoisseur, humanities graduate, reliably good for drinks, games, generating food, dumb jokes, and making hay out of city loife. Pets are a life goal; big, sympatico, gender balanced share-households (4+) are a longstanding preference. I’m looking for the premium Melbourne sharehouse experience with some harmonious characters, somewhere colourful, inner-northish, with a bit of a garden and within reasonable riding distance of the CBD. I'm currently staying in Northcote with fam so I can move whenever, or even get on board with a team-up with other cool interlopers. If you've got a space to match and think that we might gel, don’t hesitate, shoot me a DM and let me know. No roomshares pls. Thank
Hi! I just got a new job at Melbourne University and moving up to Melbourne from Geelong. I also fairly recently returned from completing a masters in Netherlands. I am reliable, respectful, easy going and clean but not obsessive. I'm into yoga, biking, coffee and red wine. Follow the cats in AFL. It would be great to get a room near Melb Uni in Carlton, Brunswick or surrounding suburbs. Also up for teaming up with someone like minded to find a place. Happy for long term lease if its the right place. Cheers, Ben
Hello! I'm Gen. I'm currently studying arts (history and international relations) at University of Melbourne. I'm always up for wine, gigs, brunch and op-shopping - but equally enjoy my quiet time. I also love to get creative, cook, read and also head home to the coast when I get the chance. (Also clean, reliable with bills etc.) * The lease at my current place ends January 15 2017, but I'm willing to move as early as December if the place is right.
Hey all, my story is one just like many others. Came to Australia on a working holiday visa, started working and was promised sponsorship. 10 months later, left out to dry. Anyway, not being one to hold a grudge I'm just trying to make the most of my time here whilst I work out if there is away can stay longer. cycled down to Melbs from Sydney and have spent the past 2 weeks driving around and exploring. (don't get the wrong impression, I'm not sporty, just a guy that follows through with his drunken ideas) I'm looking for a room to tide me over until my visa ends which isn't long I know, but with all my fingers crossed I hope I can get on a student visa to extend my stay. I'm a very easy going guy, keep a clean house, vegan and just a hippy at heart. I'm sociable but will be working in hospo so my hours wont be haha. If you think I might be a good fit then give me a shout and lets go out for a coffee or a beer, this whole 5 min meeting in the house just makes no sense to me. lets hang out see if we get along. :)
Hey there! I'm one of those guys who's really easy to get on with, always having a laugh & can lighten the mood in any situation. Studied Biomed, working in the entertainment industry & I also speak German + some Spanish.
I'm Raimundo (Ray it's OK too), an chilean guy who came to Australia for a Working Holiday experience. I decided to make Australia my new home for at least one year and from here start travelling to this other side of the Pacific Ocean! I'm 27 years old, easygoing and reliable person, and I have a degree on Political Science, but my interest are very broad, such as culture/music exchange, consciousness topics, photography and visual arts, languages, history, politics, rollers, bycicle, bouldering, nature, yoga, and so on...
Hey! My name is Nic and I am 23 years old. After 6 years in the Army, I have decided to have a bit of a break from the military lifestyle by taking up a new management job in Brunswick. So not only am a domesticated male, but I will always pay my rent on time! On my time off I am an avid soccer player, explorer and surfer, but I also like to occasionally horde myself up in my room with a good book or to trawl the net. I am a non-smoker, I only drink on social occasions and I am a fairly quiet person who respects communal living.
Hi, I am looking for a place to live next year (2017). My current lease finishes up at the end of January so looking for a place to move in during January. Looking to live with similar aged people (young 20s) who are fun and up for a laugh. I enjoy having a few drinks with friends but I also love taking it easy on the weekend! I'm into cooking, going to the beach and brunching. I work full time in accounting. Thanks! Sam
Hi, I'm Marcel! Brazilian, Master's student currently based in the Netherlands and going for a 6-month research internship in Melbourne. I consider myself organized, easy going and very open-minded (hard to avoid clichés here, right?). I love cooking, hiking, and getting to know new people, languages and cultures. My weeks are going to be very busy, but I would love to spend some time with my future roommates during weekends. Feel free to contact me if you have a room to offer or if you just want to team up to find a place to share :)
Hello mates!! I'm Alberto and I'm from Italy. My hobby is do a lot of sport, visit new places, drink wine and beer, meet new people, watch the film, swimming in the ocean, run in bicycle. I'm quiet and happy person, I have a lot patience and I really want to learn surf! I'm search of a private furnished room, No share room! See you soon!
I'm a student at Unimelb. I'm clean, tidy and easy-going person and respectful of other's space. Will be glad to grab a beer and hangout or binge watch or play games in the console when not working. Feel free to shoot any questions if you'd like to know more about me.
I have been in Melbourne close to 8 years now and am currently working full time comfortably as a Software Engineer. I am a clean and tidy person in general. Some friends call me OCDish (tho I doubt I am anywhere near the real deal). I like going to the gym, watching anime / series / movies, cooking & eating, lounging whilst reading a book, food hunting, and video games. I can cycle, frisbee, badminton, table tennis, if those are relevant in any way. Currently in my spare time I've been reading, watching anime, and meeting up with friends. An activity I would like to add into my spare time would be to cook comfortably in a hygienic setting (kitchen at current place is constantly filthy due to the negligence of other flatmates). I treasure both time alone, and time with others. A balance of both keeps my spirits up. With that, I do value the privacy, space, and solitude of others.
Hi, my name is Sofia, I'm 22 years old and just arrived in Melbourne two weeks ago. I was a student in Berlin and lived in a shared flat with a close friend of mine. I'd describe myself as a very adaptable and sociable person, thus I'm open to have nice dinners with you at home or get together for a glass of wine. But I do respect your privacy and need some time to myself as well every now and then. I eat very healthy, do a lot of yoga, love going to the movies or reading a nice book. It's important to me to keep the house clean and tidy, so we can all feel at home. Every other weekend I might go out, won't bring the party home though! The length of my stay is not definite yet, I'll stay 6 months for sure, but it might turn into an entire year. Now tell me something about yourself, I'm excited to meet you! :)
I'm respectful of privacy and like my own peace and quiet. Please no party house and douche bags. If you like wine and food that's a bonus. Please don't get me wrong I do like to have a good time and have a social, easy-going home environment. I just don't want to live in a dive with disrespectful, loud and dirty people. I like keeping things clean and tidy. I take pride in my home and enjoy cooking, music, films, and good chat. I believe if we are sharing the same space we need to be aware and respectful of each other and don't be afraid to speak up when any issues need to be addressed. I want to live with adults! Also I am thinking about adopting a rescue cat so somewhere that is pet friendly would be ideal.
Looking for a place to move as soon as possible closeish to the city. Starting a new position in the City (Parkville) , so needing a new place as soon as possible. Feel free to check out my profile. Currently a Partime Psych Student (Honours) starting in 2017, working at Parkville as a Youth Counsellor during the week/weekends (Shift Work) in Burwood. Hiya! We are two girls who moved over from London in March to start a fresh in Melbourne! I know everyone gives a whole long winded spiel so we decided to keep it short and sweet - straight to the point! We like to think that we got those 3 F's & 3R's: Fun Friendly & Funky / Relaxed Reliable & Respectful Ideally looking for people who like to socialise on the weekend but also wanna hang out in the living room watching films and enjoying meals together during the week. We will be searching for two separate rooms in this shared/ new home, and preferably people who agree that a clean house is a happy house! We are open to live with all genders just as long as we are on the same wavelength! Let us know asap !
Hello, i am from Lithuania and moving to study and work in Melbourne. I am easy going, clean and tidy. Like running and doing sports, don't smoke and drink alcohol very rarely, love animals, even though don't have any. Looking for calm and nice place to live in which i could call home.
I am a very laid back and fun character who's always up for a laugh. I am not intrusive nor confrontational, so you wouldn't have to worry about a flat mate constantly looking over your shoulder and prying into your life/belongings. I am also very organised and am willing to do my fair share of chores which would make me a breeze to live with.
A bit about myself - my name is Hugo, 22y/o, I am currently on a leave of absence from Civil & Infra Engineering at RMIT, looking to go back 1st semester 2017 to finish last 1.5 years. I'm working 9-5 at RMIT in a student admin type of job. Enjoy tennis (member of Parkville tennis club), ping pong, and generally any racquet sport. I come with an Optus EPL subscription and a Netflix subscription... and a table tennis table ;) Pretty easy-going, 1st time moving out (put-off I know) but been living semi-independent last several years - know how to cook and stay tidy. I have a licence but no car and probably won't be getting one any time soon, bike/uber gets me most places.
I'm a Melbourne girl originally from the Eastern suburbs. I recently started studying Occupational Therapy at La Trobe. I'm also really sports and enjoy keeping active. Generally I'm clean, tidy and easy to live with :)
