Feel free to shoot me a message or ask any questions- Thanks, Dayna. X
Studying architecture part-time at RMIT, generally busy waitressing on the side and hanging out with mates and/or going on adventures, occasional hermit but always up for a chat, a responsible/organised human, slight germaphobe with low-key case of OCD so I like it fairly neat & clean, passionate about all things related to art/architecture/design/photography/nature/travel, LGBTQI+ friendly, and dabbles into a bit of cooking now and again.
Hi I'm 54, professional working for state govt and looking for a room for one or two months while we arrange something longer term. My partner stays with me part-time and has a small low maintenance dog. We'd be happy to stay longer given the right place. Please let me know if you're interested in talking :) Cheers Marty
Hi everyone! I'm Lia 26 years old, after 4 years living in Mexico City I'm starting a new story in Australia as a student. I'm looking for a place where I can feel comfortable, if it is possible with a lot of natural light not so far away from the Uni. I'm a very respectful, easy-going and clean person, I have lived in share flats for the last 8 years. I really enjoy music, picnics, pilates, food and a hot cup of tea :)
Hello !! I'm a cook full time and Saskia is studying sociology at UoM and working part time. We're both friendly, easygoing and clean, and happy hanging out as well as keeping to ourselves. 420 friendly, we pay bills on time and keep the place tidy, I'll cook up nice food (Sas is vego!) and we're both creatives :-)
Hi, I am Neshal, a 27 year old graduate student at the University of Melbourne. I am currently away from Melbourne and returning on 19th. Ideally looking for a place within 15 minutes of Uni by bike. I am a bit flexible with the move in date but hoping to get sorted around the 24th. I'd like to stay at least for the duration of the semester. With all that out of that way a little bit about me. I am respectful of other people's lifestyle choices and routines and like to be around others who are the same. I am quite relaxed and easy going. Covers my share of chores around the house. Non smoker. Likes to stop and have a chat with my flatmates. I have an inclination towards motorsports. But never one to shy away from involving in a sporting or social activity. If my mates are doing it, I'll be in the middle. Cooking is a hobby. If you don't mind tasting a random bunch of stuff thrown together as an experiment, usually quite edible, I am your guy. I have lost a lot of battles with baking but sorted out chocolate chunk cookies in the process. My next semester is looking to be quite busy with me taking a vocational placement on top of couple of courses at Uni. With weekends being filled by cricket, socializing, occasional night outs and hopefully tennis, I should be out of the house most of the time.
Hi everyone, I'm urgently looking for a furnished room (private or shared) for 1-2 weeks in a close distance to UniMelb. A bit about me- I'm Roni, 29 and originally from Israel. After two years of living in Zimbabwe and working all over Eastern and Southern Africa in the field of HIV prevention, I'm starting my masters at UniMelb in Environment and Development. As a housemate I'm super flexible and chilled, love to be social but also respect privacy and some alone time. I like cooking (especially when it's for other people as well), diving into interesting conversations over good coffee or a glass of wine, travelling, going outdoors hiking and on road trips. I'm a true water baby and an ex-scuba diving instructor so I'm really happy to be living by the ocean again. I'm very open minded, love live music (and playing it too if you're keen on jam sessions in the house) and just easy to get along with. Let me know if you've got something :) Cheers
Hey everyone, I'm doing my masters by research in biomedical science at unimelb and I'm looking for a good home and community within biking distance of Bio21/Uni. I treat my home as a sanctuary, so rest assured I would give your abode the love and respect it deserves. Otherwise, I am a tidy, cleanly and respectful housemate. I enjoy my studies, cooking, and being outside. Please let me know if you have any questions, Cheers :)
I'm Amber, I'm 29..........30 in April ( can't believe it). I have just finished studying fashion design and am currently looking for work in this field but to keep me going I also work casually as a Beauty Therapist. I am a fun, friendly person and love to have a wine or two whilst socialisling with friends and family but also cherish my quiet time and enjoy spending it being creative, drawing, painting, listening to music or watching a bit of Netflix. Currently I'm living with my mum as I had to move back with her during my studies after living independently for 10 years but now its definitely time to move on. I'm mostly looking to live around the inner city or bay side area hopefully with some awesome friendly and sociable housemates :)
Hey! I'm open-minded, independent, sustainability concsious, clean, have a warm/positive outlook and enjoy hanging out with friends/flat mates. I love going out for gigs or a dance, cooking yummy veggo meals and having inspired conversations. My dream house is a place where everyone feels welcome and at home and that can be shared with friends as well as roomies. I’ve just moved here from Byron Bay to begin studying this year and will be working part time as well. The last couple of years I’ve been travelling the world and living independently in Sydney - just so you know my meagre 20 years is just a number 😉. In terms of what I can offer, I can serenade you with some music playing, get creative with some art making, tickle your taste buds with my Home-made tomato relish and tend to any garden/patches of green.
I am soon to move to Melbourne, working in Carlton and studying to become a Sommelier. I have recently returned from two overseas trips which included teaching English in Italy and backpacking around Eastern Europe, The UK and Ireland.
Moving from the Gold Coast. 25yr old, Full time professional. Just after a place close to Melbourne city and easy to get to work in Saint Kilda. Always down for a chat, a drink and hope future housemates can turn into friends. Not OCD but would like tidiness. Respects personal space. :)
Hi there. I am Philipp 29 from Germany searching a room asap. I work full time in Fitzroy and want to have a relaxed and quite flat. I really like to cook and have nice conversation at the end of the day. In Germany I have lived with 5 other guys for 7 years in a shared flat, so I know what it is about ( cleaning, privacy). If you got something available for me let me know.
Lecturer/academic, moved home to Melbourne from Japan last year. I've been on a bit of a career detour studying literature at Melbourne but am now going back to being an academic. Most of the time I'm out teaching/doing research, at home reading, or prowling around in search of cats to befriend. Decidedly introverted but equally enjoy some friendly banter. I'm vegan, but not preachy about it...and if you have animal friends in the house they will get free unlimited cuddles on demand forever. When not at work, I can be found experimenting with my 'culinary jazz,' working on my art, or trawling through PetRescue looking for my future cat children. Looking for somewhere safe, quiet, and homely to settle for a while, but with just enough eccentricity to keep life interesting :)
Hey! We're a fun-loving couple from Ireland, looking to make Melbourne our home for the next 3 months. We're both science graduates and Kate will be working in the University of Melbourne, so we're looking for places to stay near that area. Eoin also works in research and will be working during our stay. We're really tidy, considerate, and open-minded people who love to explore new places, eat great food, and most of all meet some interesting folks. We're also always down for playing a bit of music, and would be more than happy to show you a Traditional Irish tune or two! Cheers, Kate & Eoin x
Hi there, I am Tommy. I am a dual citizen , Italian and Australian. I am gonna start a new full time job in MELBOURNE after one year travelling/ working in South and North America. I'm an easy going person and a respectful house mate. I have also lived in share houses before and know what is expected in these situations when it comes to being clean and paying rent on time. I am very excited to start living again in Melbourne ( I have lived in Brunswick for many years) and I am looking for nice people to live with and have a good time together :) cheers!
I'm moving to Melbourne from a small coastal town on the south coast of NSW called Batemans Bay🏄 I'm very easy going and friendly, I love a good chat but also value mine, and others, alone time🙂 I'm self employed at the moment but would also like to pick up some part-time work to supplement my income. After a busy day I like to wind down by putting on a record🎶 pouring myself a glass of scotch🍻 and playing chess. In my spare time I like to shoot photos📸 and work on my business💸
I am extremely flexible and lenient. I'm very organized and clean with my belongings. I've lived with messy roommates in the past so I'm accustomed to pretty much everything. I'm a big fan of splitting up chores around the house/suite/apartment and organizing it so everyone does an equal share. I'm an American studying abroad during the upcoming Fall semester at Uni Melb and all I wanna do is explore and adventure. I enjoy hanging around, chatting to friends, walking around town and discovering new things. I enjoy visiting local attractions the most as I find they hold the most character, good vibes, and lead to the most fun. Seeing as I'm studying abroad, I fully plan on taking every opportunity to explore, which includes traveling all over the place. I also love to cook, so any place with good food, chill vibes, and classy music is a dream come true. I'm a really easygoing guy and super easy to impress, so recommendations of places to visit would be awesome. In my spare time I like to do pixel art, game dev, listen to music, cook, and go out with friends. P.S. Cheers for reading this far, haha. As a general aside, I'm not a big partier or drinker and I don't do drugs of any kind. I personally don't mind at all if other people indulge, and I'm not opposed to hanging at a bar, but generally, I'd prefer to chill in a more relaxed environment with some close friends and good company. TL;DR : I'm an easygoing guy, who's studying abroad from the US and wants to explore. I'm organized, clean, and easy to room with. I'll also cook you food.
I’m Tom. I’m 23, and am beginning architecture study next year at Melbourne Uni…I like to do lots of different things…I tend to read a lot. I love music of all sorts, I like to ride my bike anywhere and everywhere, as well as watch movies, garden, photograph, write, construct etc. I think I'm relatively calm and easy going, sociable but shy, communicative, tidy, open to new things, thoughtful…and many other adjectives. Sooo, I’m looking for a house where there's a communal and familial feeling. I love to cook (and eat/share food together) and try to eat healthily and ethically, so would appreciate those mutual qualities. I would be looking to stay longterm. Anyhow, I hope to hear back from you :)
Hi! I'm a 22 year old kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for four years. My landlord will be selling the property at the end of my current lease so I am looking to be your next housemate, preferably on a long term lease! I finished my Honours year at Melbourne uni last year and will be continuing on with study in 2018 doing postgrad law. I currently work casual shifts as a French tutor and also coach preschool sport on the weekend, so I'll be around the house a fair bit when I'm not at uni, working or playing netball. I have experience living in a sharehouse, so I know the importance of cleanliness and personal space. I like to be sociable and am always up for a chat or a house meal - I love trying new recipes and sharing them with housemates! I am a pretty chilled out kind of person and appreciate down time but also enjoy the occasional party or get together, so I'm happy to fit in with any home vibe!
