Hi, I'm Vash and I'm 22 years old. I'm moving from Brisbane to Hobart this year to study at the University of Tasmania. When I'm not working or at Uni, I love to exercise, read books, cook, or go out with friends. I'm outgoing and friendly, but I also enjoy my own space. I've lived in a share house before, I'm cleanly and considerate, and I think very easy to live with! :) Looking forward to the year ahead.
Hello, there! I’m a digital artist looking for a furnished room in a relaxed and tidy household close to Hobart. For the time being, I’m balancing a part-time office day job with freelance and personal projects. I consider myself a shocking introvert, but it’d be nice if my new housemates were people I could share a meal, a few drinks, and a games session with every now and then. I’ve lived in shared houses for three of the past five years, and alone for the other two. Long enough to get a decent idea of how to run a tight ship. I’m also someone who prefers routine, predictability, and clear expectations up front - we’re likely to get along if you’re open to rostered cleaning and such. I left my last home in Launceston after a job I moved up there for fell apart following a company merger. I’ve just been staying with family since then, but it’s way too far out of town for my liking. Work and fun are closely linked for me, but when I’m not drawing, I can be found nerding out on comics, animation, and games, catching up with mates in town for coffee or drinks, or showering love on cool doggos. Once I’m living closer to town, I may pick up some old outdoor hobbies. I have a fair bit of fancy digital art gear to shift when I do move, but I haven’t yet decided whether to set it up in a home office or in one of the coworking spaces in town. I’m probably leaning toward the latter - I think it’s good to have that separation between home and work. All that said, It’s hard to tell how much time I’ll be spending at home - let’s say I’m adaptable on that front. Speaking of doggos - if the property is suitable and you’re open to it, there’s a possibility I could bring one with me. He’s a happy docile short-haired border collie and may be the most affectionate animal on the planet. He gets along well with other dogs but might not be great with other kinds of pets. Hopefully that’s enough to get us started - fling me a message if you think we’ll get along :)
I'm Sarah and I'm 26. I have just accepted a full-time position under the THS and will be making the move from Melbourne to Hobart. I will be moving around the 3rd/4th of Feb, but can move in at a later date (my stuff can be stored for a while). I will be bringing my bedroom stuff with me and maybe a few other bits and bobs (some nice armchairs) I’ve lived in share houses before so understand the balance between needing interaction with your house pals and needing some me (and you) time. I want to come back everyday feeling like I've truly come home, so I’m keen for cooking together and having a few beers every now and then. I do like to go out to socialise but I am not keen on bringing the party back to the house. However, I am totally down for entertaining smaller groups. Dinner parties are always fun! Heads up: I like to live in a clean and tidy home. Ideally I'd like to live with people who get that, and are also wanting to maintain a good standard of ~so fresh and so clean~ throughout the house. I'm looking for a home with caring, compassionate and considerate house pals. Preferably others who have lived in share houses before and want to create a comfortable environment filled with ~good vibes~. I am very approachable and open to suggestions, so if something wasn’t working or what not I am extremely receptive to feedback and working toward making everyone comfortable in the house. As I won't know all that many people yet in Hobart, I am hoping my housemates will be keen to show me their favourite camping spots, hiking spots, beer spots, reading spots and whatever kind of spots you enjoy! Another thing to note is that I currently live with my partner and he won't be making the move to Hobart with me (at this stage) :'( !!! This means he will be staying for a weekend or so every 6ish weeks and I'll be gone for a weekend or so every 6ish weeks. Please don't hesitate to message me if you have a room! I won't be down in Hobart until the first weekend of Feb, so can only do in-person meet ups after that. But I am more than happy to start the conversation prior and can be available for skype meet ups :)
Hi, My name is Paul. I am 29 years old. I have relocated to Hobart for study at UTAS and am currently looking for somewhere to live. I am quiet, very tidy and I like to keep to myself. I enjoy gardening, reading, cooking and studying languages.
My name is Lauren and I've recently qualified as a radiation therapist and been lucky enough to be offered a job in Hobart! I am currently living in Geelong, Victoria but am looking forward to a change. I am very positive and easy going and am always up for a laugh and a few drinks. Feel free to contact me regarding pretty much anything :)
Cameron knows how to live with other people. He is respectful of space and keeps up with his share of the household chores. I have come to know Cameron as someone who listens and acts upon other people’s needs. Oh and he is a fantastic gardener! He knows how to cook but leads a busy work and social life which means there won’t be many tines he will get in your way in the kitchen. If he had one flaw it would be that it takes a little to come out of his shell but once he is comfortable you will find good conversation with him. Daniel (Previous Landlord/Housemate) Happy to provide contact details for reference.
I'm very friendly and love people, love a good cook-up and chilling out too! Can talk about almost anything, but leave you alone when you need quiet too ;) I'll be needing plenty of alone time as a fast-track nursing student anyway. I am a disabilty support worker, non-smoker, neat and tidy around the home. I have a gorgeous 6yr old labrador I either can bring with me or leave with my folks if you can't have her, but trust me, you'd be missing out ;)

I'm clean, friendly, reliable, come with excellent references and have a delightful and slightly quirky 17 year old kitty cat. I'm vegetarian, do yoga and meditation, appreciate a quiet home environment as much as a social one, and I'm a nurse - so I can tell you all the cool gross stories - or not...
Creative type who likes cooking, writing, and composing music. Down to earth, easygoing. Reliable, always pays rent on time. Volunteer at art gallery. Likes 70s and 80s Marvel Comics, specifically X-men.
We are a couple looking for a a great place to live. My boyfriend and I met in Canada while he was over on a working holiday visa. Now I'm over here on my working holiday visa. We are looking to explore around Tasmania taking in all the sites while still having a cozy home to come back to while working. We love to cook. We mostly keep to ourselves but also down to hang out with good friends from time to time.
Hi Friends! My friend Bree and I are looking for a house to move into in January/February (either new lease or join an existing one). We would like to find a third (and possibly fourth) person to help us create a home in central Hobart. We enjoy sharing meals and wine/beer from time to time but we aren’t looking to host huge parties. Our future housemate(s) would ideally value and respect a tidy and clean communal space and want to be part of a sociable house while respecting each other’s need for alone time :). We are keen to find someone with similar lifestyle to ours (probably meaning similar age - 25-35). A little about us: Bree is originally from Melbourne and has just begun a fulltime PhD in marine science. I moved to Hobart from Perth a couple of years ago and work as a physio. We both enjoy camping, hiking, and being outside, and appreciate good food and beverages of the caffeinated and/or alcoholic variety. Feel free to get in touch if we sound like the magical housemates you have been looking for!
Hey wonderful people! I'm Arad, a 4th year medical student studying in Hobart. Looking for some chill, tidy, and easy going person/people to live with next year. I'm neat, respectful, and friendly. Not a party-person, but more than happy to catch up and relax with housemates. I'm from Adelaide and like hikes, cooking, soccer, and chilling with friends. I start uni again on the 29th of Jan, so something before that would be ideal :D. Hope to hear from you soon!
I (Madison) am currently a cleaner at a caravan park, a testament to my cleanliness. My boyfriend (Benjamin) is currently working two jobs at an IGA and a night job doing animal tours. We are both tidy people willing to do our part and earn our keep. we aren't a clingy couple so you WILL NOT have to put up with awkwardness like that. We do not care if you are LGBT+ and we won't judge. Neither of us has pets, however, we don't mind living with them. We can follow your house rules.
my name is Dusty (actual name) trying to move out of home by the 10th of jan. I am tidy and good at cleaning, able to cook a good meal, very easy to get along with and also like to carry my own weight and have lots of fun !!. I am a health professional making the big move down to Tassie in January 2018. I am tidy and respectful. I like to consider myself a relatively chilled person. I will be working full-time and like to spend my weekends doing a lot of outdoor activities (hiking, jogging, etc). I have previously lived in sharehouses and am respectful of others' privacy. From time to time, enjoy good quality banter and craft beers. Looking at starting a sharehouse or apartment in early Feb 2018, please feel free to message me if you are interested :)
Hi, I'm a 30 y.o male who loves to cook! I also enjoy the occasional Netflix binge and philosophical conversations! I work full time and volunteer with an emergency service so I don't spend to much time at home! I love animals and would prefer to share with non smokers. I like to go to the gym and dislike mess but am not OTT about it!
Fun, easy-going and cooks well. Have a strong interest in art, music and fashion. Can always find me enjoying a good cup of coffee in a cafe during the day and sipping on refreshing G&T during the night. Personally very neat and tidy as I prefer working in a clean environment. Currently working as an architecture designer in Hobart.
You can expect to get friendly roomies, who are responsible, clean and do the dishes. Rules will always be respected while making sure to have fun. We're also Asians with fluent-as English, allow us to bring an oriental twist to any occasion. Looking forward to hearing back from anyone keen!
