Hi there! I'm Taco, a Dutchie, and am over a year in Sydney now. After living in Collaroy (Northern Beaches) and Surry Hills, I'm looking for a winterproof room in another vibrant suburb. I'm in Sydney studying Travel and Tourism Management, which will last till November, so I'm looking for a place to call home for the next 6 months. Besides my study I work as a bartender. Since i've got to work a lot, i'm not looking for a partyhouse, although I love an occasional drink with my housemates! If I have any sparetime, I love to be outdoors, watch a movie/series (Netflix n chill it is!), or enjoy the Sydney life.
I like to live in a Clean space, like to cook and keep active during the week. I enjoy having the odd dinner and catch up with a housemate
Young, hard working Aussie professional moving to Sydney from Melbourne, social and very easy going. Clean and tidy. Well rounded person - works hard, but enjoys checking out new bars and restaurants on the weekends, or having a chill out beer at home with friends. Looking to live with social, easy going, and friendly people.
I'm looking for a room in a house/flat with clean, social and considerate housemates. I'm an easy-going, social and considerate individual who works in the Financial Services industry. I like traveling, philosophy, arts, films, current affairs, etc. I enjoy good food and wine, going out for dinners, and brunches with friends. Please get in touch if you have a room in my preferred areas or would like to team up to rent a house.
If I have to say so myself. I guess I'm nice, funny and considerate. I work in TV so work pretty long hours. However I do enjoy dinner and a drink when I have time. In terms of living arrangements, I'm looking for a clean respectful place to live. Keen to get a room near the eaten suburbs beaches or inner Eastern suburbs. Pretty easy going guy I reckon. Easy to live with. I could get a couple testimonials on demand if needed. Enough about me now I think.
Hi just a little about me, I am a professional working full time in events at Bondi Junction. There are occasions i come home very late or am travelling. On most days I am home by 6.30pm. I also work from home once a week. I love to read, watch movies and cook (make killer desserts and yes, I share the love). I am happy to sit down and have a meal together or have a chat over wine. I will respect your space and I hope you will respect mine. I am very responsible, pay my bills on time and neat (even when I cook!) Not a party animal. Would love to come home to a quiet relaxed atmosphere where everyone respects each other. Hoping to find a flatmate on similar wavelength. Move date is flexible. Planning to move June/July but that all depends on situation. I have my own stuff so prefer a double sized bedroom that is unfurnished, and access to my own bathroom (does not have to be ensuite). Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and dogs.
Hey! Im looking to for a room to rent in Paddo/Woollahra/Clovelly/Bronte etc or to get a house together with someone or a couple. Ideally a house or an apartment with a garden as I do have a cat but he's a legend and any cat hated ends up loving him as he's a bit like a dog. Ideally looking for a place with people in their 20's, clean, easy going just the usual. I work as a freelance stylist and assistant so I work 5-6 days and some long hours, so during the week i just watch tv and go to bed early. Feel free to message me if you have a great room or be keen to start up a place together
Hi Everyone! By way of introduction, I recently turned 24 and I am currently working full time in a real estate agency in Bondi Junction. I'm very easy going, clean and would be respectful of privacy. I enjoy good company and a glass of wine after work and tend to head out for cocktails or the beach on the weekend. I am sociable however I also work 6 days a week so I do enjoy some alone time to relax, essentially I'm looking for somewhere I can call home. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hey! I'm Marc I'm 26 and I'm a fully qualified mechanic from the UK/Scotland. I'm about to start work at the Mercedes Benz dealership in Rushcutters bay. I imagine I'll be fairly busy during the week working 8-4 Monday to Friday, so I'm looking for somewhere that I can come home to and chill out and relax. Currently in staying in edgecliff at a hotel so I'm looking for a place ideally as quickly as possible, hotels are nice but they don't have the homely feel and help to settle down. I'm a clean and tidy guy and back home in the uk I spent most nights down at my local gym and attending a few classes of mixed martial arts, I'm hoping to continue this here in Sydney aswell. Very open to exploring the city, beaches and any other things I don't know too much about, very easy to get along with and fairly laid back and hopefully find someone in the house who can improve my cooking skills! If you have any questions please don't hesitate too send them to me, I'll respond as quick as I can.
***ABOUT ME:*** •Hello! My small dog and I are looking for a home. We are looking for housemates who LOVE DOGS! •I'm a 28 years young Sydney-born Full Time 9am-6pm working professional in the photography industry in the CBD. I'm honest, responsible and reliable; I pay all my current existing bills on time and can most definitely pay my future rent/bills on time! •I keep my personal and communal areas clean and tidy e.g. I like to wash my dishes straight away so that I never leave dishes sitting in the sink smelly for days or for others to wash up after me. •I'm friendly, like to hangout/chillout and like to get to know people. At the same time, I'm quiet, shy and like to relax on my own. I'm looking for a place to live where it's quiet, drama-free and not a party house as I love a good night's sleep. •I am respectful of other people and their personal space and property. •During the working week: I like to take my dog for walks, go to the gym and go to bed as early as I can. •On the weekends: I like to treat my dog to the dog beach/park, skateboard and cook my meals for the coming week. •My interests/hobbies: mini outdoor adventures/seaside hikes with my dog, skateboarding, gym, arts and crafts (e.g. film photography, loom knitting, building gundams), going to live music concerts, watching movies/tv shows, boardgames...and so many more! •I'm a non-smoker and am looking to live with other non-smokers only. I don't do drugs and I am not a heavy alcohol drinker. •I am looking to live at a place for longer term (minimum 12 months). •I am looking to live within walking distance to a train station or light rail as I don't drive. •I would organise my own food as I cook fresh meat and vegetables for my dog as well. I would most likely cook my week's worth of food on the weekend then freeze it so I don't have to cook during the working week. ***ABOUT MY DOG:*** •My dog is a 6 years young male Chihuahua. •He is doggy door toilet trained, desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. •He is a clean indoor dog and sleeps on my bed. It would be ideal for him to have access to indoors and outdoors when I'm not home so he can go to the toilet outside and sleep inside. I have a removable doggy door panel which is simply a vertical panel of glass with a doggy door at the bottom which slots in next to a sliding door. •He loves people but needs time to warm up to them, so he is shy and nervous initially. •He is friendly and playful with other small dogs. He hasn't lived with another dog before, but I think a dog friend would be good company for him as he doesn't like to be home alone, so we are looking to live with another small dog. •He does bark when someone leaves or enters the home, but only for about 30 seconds. He also barks if he sees another dog walking outside from the home window. So we are looking to live with people who are understanding and tolerant of these now-and-again barks. I plan to have him professionally trained to manage this here-and-there barking. •He becomes scared easily if treated badly by someone and may nip to defend himself. So please, we are looking to live with DOG LOVERS ONLY who will show him lots of love, and won't grab him or yell at him aggressively. •I'm looking for housemates who wouldn't mind feeding my dog once in a while when I stay out past dinner time if I'm out at a music concert or doing something at night. Of course I'd be more than happy to doggysit my flatmates's pets if they'd wish :) •His interests/hobbies: loves going for walks especially by the ocean, playing catch with tennis balls and following me everywhere around the home. •Sorry, he is not cat friendly. ***ABOUT MY FISH:*** •The only piece of 'furniture' I would be bringing to the communal part of the house is my 17 years young fish and his 90 litre fish tank. •It would be ideal to have the tank in a communal area as he likes to watch people walk past and he swims after them. It would be fantastic to place the fish tank close to a sink for easier changing of water.
Married professional couple looking for a place to call home.
Oi mates! I am looking for a room starting from mid-July onward (dates pretty flexible) until the end of November in Sydney (Eastern Suburbs). I’m 23 years old student from Finland, currently studying European law in University of Amsterdam. I moved abroad when I was 19 so pretty used to living and travelling around. I will be moving to Sydney 10th July to do an exchange semester in UNSW. I will also be looking for a part-time job. I’m easy-going, friendly and sociable and enjoy chilling with friends and spending time outdoors when the weather is nice. I love doggos, good coffee, summer festivals and BBQs and of course cozy netflix/movie nights. I also like to think I’m a pretty good cook (but often too lazy to make a nice proper dinner for just myself haha!) I’m used to living with housemates, which means respectful and clean, and tidy up after myself. However, I do enjoy family dinners and open atmosphere with some friendly banter, so I am looking for more than just a bed to sleep in. I’m not a party animal but enjoy having a few wines with friends or going out occasionally during weekends and going to festivals during summer. I’m looking for a place where I could make most of my stay in Sydney, feel relaxed and get to know new people. Please feel free to send me a msg if you have something to offer :)
We are two french students who are in Sydney for 6 months, one for internship and the other employed in a start-up. We are clean, respectfull and like to meet people! We met in brazil last semester and we can't wait to discover Australia !
Sociable, independent, positive, respectful house mate. I like to keep active, have a chat & a laugh and looking for someone with some emotional intelligence who is easy to live with
Hello possible future flatmates, My name is Bree, short for Brianna and I am currently on the hunt for a new private room in the Inner Eastern Suburbs. I am currently studying Design in Paddington, and working part time in Bondi Junction. I enjoy cooking at home most nights, and am generally pretty quiet, although I do enjoy a good chat at night, as well as a good boogie out with friends on a night out. I am also a very clean person, making sure I clean up after myself in communal areas. Ideally Im looking to move into a share house with some other groovy young people during or at the end of semester 2 (November), just starting to look around early.
I'm a easy going, clean, and somewhat social young professional (28) who works as a Systems Engineer at EY. My interests include, keeping fit by cycling or running and also having a well balanced diet, music, art, technology, sports, photography, travel and the outdoors. Of a weekend I enjoy socialising with friends by going to restaurants, bars, surfing, getting outdoors, art galleries and going to music gigs.
I'm 25 and Scottish working full time in the city. I'm looking for a room in a place that i can call home
Hey peeps, I am Jakob, 35 years old and I come from Germany. I will be studying human resources management in Sydney and I am searching for a place and flatmate. I have been to Sydney previously and loved it so I am super excited to finally be here again! At the moment I stay in Coogee with my cousin at her place. Ideally I gonna meet a long-term flat mate as my course goes for 3 years but this is flexible. I will also be working part-time, this means I will spend a lot of time at work and then studying at home. I am basically just looking for a small, quiet, clean room. As I´m in my 30s, I´m not interested in partying hard but always up for a good red wine, a nice chat, cooking, BBQ, coast walk, Capoeira or just some chilling on the couch. I am down to earth, have a warm heart, positive, outgoing, honest and humorous. I enjoy good energy and am looking for a house mate with similar values. My benefit to you is that I´m interested to stay long-term. So you have a reliable tenant, clean, tidy and I know what a good manner is. I have lived in shared houses before and know the importance of keeping areas clean, being respectful and paying bills on time! If you think that I am someone you could live with please contact me or ask anything that needs clarification. Looking forward to hearing from you, Jakob
Hey, I am a 20 year old Stylist, Model and Costume Designer. I am moving to New York for work in early Feb 2018, so a 6 month lease would be perfect. In terms of my own personality, I'm very easy-going, chilled and so-called-mature for my age. I'm generally out of home, but so happy to relax with other house-mates when home - but will completely understand someone wanting their own time, as long as this goes both ways! Looking forward to meeting some of you, and hopeful to make some great friends out of this hunt for a roof over my head.
French marine biology PhD student looking for a quiet place. Not here for partying and working full time at UTS.
Hello, I'm studying a Master's Degree at the UNSW in Public Relations and Advertising, and I'm looking for a private room close to uni and to the city. I'm going to live in Sydney for 6 months more, so I prefer a longer stay and a private room. About me: I speak two languages (also I understand Italian). I love cooking (specifically Italian food). I'm very tidy and organized (sometimes a little bit like Monica Geller, but I'm not annoying, I just like my stuff clean). I really like pets (dogs and cats) so I don't mind if there is a pet living in the house. I love reading books and art, so in my free time, I'm always exploring new museums or art exhibitions. I'm quiet, I don't do parties at home. I'm just interested in finding a place that is clean, quiet and with great people in it. I'm easy going, very respectful of others and I'd like to move in July. (Let's say the 10th or the 19th) If you think I'm the right person for staying at your home, just contact me :)! Cheers
Finance professional currently working remotely but based in Sydney CBD offices and looking to move back to head office. I'm fastidiously clean and pretty career focused. That being said I'm social on weekends, but tend to prefer exercise, sport and surfing than drinking and partying.
I'm an event director - (co owner), a film maker, a bike and ebike designer. I practice yoga (asana, pranayama and Meditation) every day. When I'm in Sydney, I ride my bike in Centennial Park, Ocean swim at Bronte, and love my life! You can find out much more about me on Chase Sydney and on Vuelo Velo, you can look them up online (add my name). Good thoughts, Marty
Hey! I'm happy, healthy, adventurous, a little crazy and looking for somewhere to live with some life loving people. I like to be social, try new places, keep moving - however also like to relax and enjoy a bit of 'me' time every now and then. I'm easy going, not much bothers me to be honest. A bit of a clean freak though. Love to go on photography adventures. Hate clubbing but love boozy pub day/nights. Non Smoker. Love pets. Work wise, I've been working in Events for years (London and Sydney). In June I'm going on a Euro trip and will come home July or August to find a new role in the same industry, and a new place to live. Hoping for a place with parking space available. Open to male/female house shares. Umm anything else just ask! T. x
Hi! My name is Monika, and my friend Dominika and I, we are looking for an accomodation for 3 months from 1st of September till 30th of November 2017. We are two biotechnology engineer, who are coming to Sydney to do an internship in laboratory for a period of 3 months. We will be working full time (9am-5pm Mon-Fri) so the most of the time we won't be in house. That's why we would like to share our flat with somebody responsible and calm. In our free time, we are planning to visit everything around and we are quite active as it comes for sports and entertaiment on the plain air. We are not planning to stay at home, so it would be cool if you can join us! Ps. Our little target for this adventure in Sydney is to learn how to surf!
I am a very easygoing and laid back person to live with. I am also very sociable and open, while respecting others' privacy and wishes! I am moving from Melbourne to study at NIDA (next to UNSW) full time. I am very organised, and am able to clean and look after myself, but still love to have fun when time allows. I enjoy meeting new people, reading, watching films, dancing and trying new foods!
Aussie Interior Designer who moved back to Sydney after working overseas for a couple of years. Although I enjoy shenanigans every now and again, generally I keep to myself a fair bit, and love a quiet home where I can cook, watch Netflix and read in peace and cozy comfort. I love wine and eating out, but am also trying to get fit! Let's do this!
I’m a 24 year old student heading into the final stages of my commerce / IT degree. I work part time and despite still being a student, I take my work seriously and align more closely to the professional lifestyle. I’m easy going but am prone to make awful jokes and/or puns from time to time. When I’m not working or studying I’ll likely be training, relaxing at home or out socializing. I generally keep weeknights low key but am not opposed to some cheeky beers or the occasional shenanigan. I tend to prefer my action to be out of the house so when I'm home it's typically low key. I’m looking for a houseshare with some like-minded individuals with similar schedules and interests - just like everyone else. I enjoy cooking and living in a tidy home and am proactive around cleaning and housework. I like learning about new things and am always down for a chat about new ideas, technology, events, GoT theories or anything related to rugby.
I'm A pretty mellow person. I usually get along quite well with everyone I get to know. I like to participate in doing most types of activities from just staying in and watching a movie or listening to music to going on a hike or road trip. I'm from California and am doing the 1 year working visa here. I have been working at a grocery store in Bondi the past few months. I'm really looking for a good house of 4+ people that I can get along and hang out with outside of the house.
I am an easygoing, friendly and kind person. I like to help people, write and play some music, make some art, adore the ocean, explore nature and I love dogs and horses. I like sport, running, cycling, anything to do with water, yoga and dancing. If you think we could be compatible to live with, then send me a message and we can take it from there. Thankyou. Best wishes, Julie :) [I'm not really 99 FTR]
Hi! I'm moving to Sydney from Adelaide with my current company for a full-time role. I'm arriving on the 19th June, and will start the new position on the 3rd of July. I'd like to sign a shorter lease (3-6 months) while I find my feet in the city, but I'm also happy with longer leases if available. I'll be working in the CBD so will either use public transport or ride my bike into work, I have a car so would love parking options but I do have a back-up plan to store it, so if there's no parking that's okay. I'd personally prefer a female friendly place and a private room - I love 'me' time but I also like mingling so I think it's nice to have a great balance. I really need to make plans soon so I'd love it if you could message me! Also, I'm used to my own house in Adelaide so I love keeping it clean and tidy :) *** no shared rooms thank you ***
