I'm an international student flying to 'Straya on 11th Feb. I'm starting my Bachelors at Griffith University, hence looking for a place to stay. I'd mostly be staying outside at library/uni premises to study or be in my room. Even though I'm not really the 'partying type', I do enjoy occasional Netflix or hang-out. I'm neat and I don't smoke or drink or have any pets.
Hi all! My name's Terry. I'm originally from Adelaide and I've been in Brisbane now for about 2 years. I work full-time as a soil technician for an engineering firm. I have an indoor cat named Stella who can be a bit shy, depending if she likes you or not. If you like cats, I think you'll like her anyway but unfortunately she doesn't seem to get along with other cats :( A couple of other things about me - sport climbing is a big part of my life when I'm not working. I often won't get home until past 8 pm during the week because I'll go climbing straight from work. If I do find myself at home, you might find me unwinding in my room with a bit of gaming or poking my head out for a chat if anyone is around the house. Otherwise, I enjoy getting out and about with friends, doing house activities, or getting out for a Sunday lunch and a swim at South Bank. Mostly, I'm looking for a place I can call home with people that actually want make an effort and contribute to making the house a nice place to live, and not just "exist" in a house together.. I'm looking for people that know how to have a laugh, but can also be upfront, direct, and sincere. So.. Full disclosure here for a minute - I'm terrible at remembering to take the bins out, so I apologise in advance for that! xD Along the same vein, I'm generally pretty good at cleaning up after myself but if I come home late I might leave some dishes in the sink sometimes. I do also appreciate housemates who can pay the rent and bills on time! If I sound like someone you could live with, feel free to drop me a line - I'm happy to fill an empty room or do team-ups with the right people :) Hope to hear from you soon! Terry
I am working part time while saving money to move overseas. Uni graduate. I am a socialable, clean and friendly person who loves a chat. I don't spend a lot of time at home due to work and friends. Bit of a nerd.
I’m a full time Beauty Therapist working in a day spa. I have 1 small inside hairless dog. Im from Brisbane, grew up on the Gold Coast. I don’t drink/smoke/take drugs. I’m vegan. I’m pretty home bound so I don’t go out late much, just go to the occasional gig now and then. But in general I like to keep to myself. I work 3/4 weekends a month.
Hi my name is Karen, I'm looking for a fully finished home with a furnished bedroom for a short term stay. I'm full time employed at QUT Gardens Point, so paying rent on time is not a problem. I'd need to be close to a bus stop and have a good bus service into the city because I don't like long bus rides. I'm quiet, friendly, respectful and like my own space. My budget is on the lower end of $100 (120, 130) including bills, but depending on the location i.e. if closer to the city, I could go up to $150. Cheers, Karen
I'm looking to move to Brisbane from Canberra for an initial 6 months, possibly longer, to spend some quality time with my daughter and grand-daughter. Apart from that, I plan to spend time recuperating as my health is not good, and would therefore prefer a peaceful environment. I mostly like to keep to myself, but also enjoy good, meaningful conversation. I also enjoy spending time in nature, reading, crochet, meditation, and watching movies.
I want to live in accomodation on the livable environment, not far from.public transport access and condusive for studying. I love to do sport, love to study new thing, want to learn cook, love listen to music, bunt dont really like pet.
Hi, a friend of mine and myself are looking for a place to live while we are studying at university. We both live and are from Townsville moving to Brisbane for Uni. We are both females and are just looking for somewhere to stay.
I'm a 21 Year old IT Technician and Network Admin, working full time in Darra. Clean and organized guy with a love of classical guitar. Looking for a place with a decent amount of room, with privacy for myself and for others any others I'd be living with. Internet is a must. Would prefer own bathroom.
Hey, I'm Erin and I'm planning on moving out for uni a couple months after I turn 18. I'm going to be studying psychological science at Griffith. I'm moving out of home so I'm looking for somewhere cheap with roommates that are up for a laugh. I work at woolies, so I come with a 5-10% discount on food and alcohol. I'd like a flatmate that I can get along well and still be able to respect each others privacy. I'm looking for any location within a 15 minute drive to Griffith uni.
Very clean - easy going - i have a smalll 2 year old cavalier girl that's a real breeze - looking for some cool house mates near where i work in daisy hill
Hi I’m a carpenter and a solo artist studying music full time at JMC academy. My lease is running out at the end of January so am looking for a room! I am 32 years old and love to cook, read, go on road trips to the beach and play the guitar and sing. I’m also considerate of others privacy and enjoy socialising.
Hi there, I am Melinda, everyone calls me Mindy. I am 39 and have returned to uni to do a second degree. I have a communications degree and a background in marketing and communications. I am pretty laid back and easy going. My kids say I'm the coolest mum alive. I love music and have been to almost 50 concerts, often travelling to Brisbane or Melbourne for shows. I currently live in Hervey Bay and will be keeping my home here for my daughter while she works for her gap year before she starts uni. I can't afford to rent 2 houses so just looking for something that is affordable and close to Griffith University. I've spent the last 22 years cleaning up after 3 children, so I'm pretty good at keeping house, am organised, pleasant, downright hilarious at times, and a great cook to boot.
I am a tidy individual whose study and job helps her live the quiet life. I'm looking to move off University Campus so I can live with my dog, Kyra, who is very gentle and well trained.
Hey! I’m a very clean person and respect other people’s privacy....my cat...not so much haha she’s very friendly when she gets used to her environment! Would love to find a place that I can make new friends, hang out if you want or just have a chat and some drinks....

Hi there, I'm a 19 year old student looking for somewhere to move to! I currently live out of home and am just waiting for my current lease to end (April 1st) before I move again~ I make a mean lasagna and am happy to have a sit down and a chat! However I'm pretty quiet and do usually keep to myself, preferring to spend time in my room either studying or gaming~ I do have a dog that I would potentially like to bring along with me. Her name is Jasmine, she's a senior border collie (13 years old). As she's an older dog she's generally quiet and likes to nap more than anything. She's very well trained and obedient, and absolutely adores pats and belly rubs~ she loves humans but isn't the biggest fan of other animals, however with some adjusting she ends up getting along with others just fine. I would really love for her to be with me in her golden years. I am happy to discuss the possibility of having her come with me, however animals are a huge part of my life and I plan on having little companions with me. Thank you for reading all of this! Please feel free to message me and discuss arrangements about the possibility of us becoming flatmates!
Hi! I am looking for a place for myself to move to next month. My budget is a little tight at the moment, so I can only afford to pay $120 a week. I am a very friendly and peaceful tenant with minimum needs. I am looking for a place near the Mount Gravatt campus of Griffith University. Thanks!
I am currently studying at Griffith University (third year). While I love meeting new people and am excited to get to know my roommates I also enjoy my own space and like to keep to myself to study. I am originally from the Sunshine Coast but am living in Brisbane for uni. I have been living in the on campus accomodation for the last two years and am now looking to move off into a sharehouse. I have a car so off street parking is pretty important, but in a quiet street on street parking could be acceptable.
I’m a very friendly person who loves to have a laugh, but also likes my alone time. I have a gorgeous little dog and a cat (cat doesn’t have to live there though). I’m studying and working so like to have my down time with my pets when I’m at home. I’m 18 in June and my boyfriend is 19 in June, he works full time so wouldn’t be home during the day.
I’m a quiet guy who will be moving up to Brisbane from Ballarat to study a masters of clinical philosophy and working every other minute. I enjoy working out, reading and playing with my pup Ellie who is an English Staffie and house trained (we’re a package deal). I have full furnishings for a house so if we need anything I’ve got us covered. What I’m looking for is a like minded, positive group of people who have a bedroom available that doesn’t face onto a busy street and has a secure back yard for Ellie. If you have any questions, ask!
I’m always positive, bubbly and ready for a conversation. I will be sure to respect your rules, I won’t be loud or disruptive and I like keeping my things nice & tidy. At the moment I do casual work for a solar company, but am currently looking for a new job. I love playing volleyball & I will most likely be out everyday.
