I'm a 23yr old dietitian relocating from Queensland for work, and looking for a place to call home and meet fun people. I'm pretty relaxed, clean and tidy, work hard through the week and love a good beer and boogie on the weekends. Let me know if you'd like to know anything else 😊
Hi potential flatmates! I'm thomas, 31 years old. I left my beloved France last year where I lived seven years in Paris. I'm looking for some friendly flatmates willing to share more than just the rent and bills. I would wish in st kilda or closed suburbs. I would say that I am respectful, reliable and open-minded. I'm too old anymore to make party everytime, but sometimes I forget it! I'm quite tidy for a bloke... not based on my mum but according to female friends and that is worth, right?! :-) I'm working as a Consultant because I like to be paid telling to people what they have to do and...hum...no I shouldn't say that here, forget it -_- What else, I am really into soccer, enjoy nice strolls listenning some electronic music and I need to be near to the sea even if I swim like a stone :-/ Conclusion, I am just modestly a bargain! ahah
We are two girls from Norway, who are looking for a place to stay now that we have finished travelling up the East Coast. Both of us finished college last year, and we are now enjoying our freedom before studying next fall. We are chilled, enthusiastic, reliable and keen to meet new people! Also, we enjoy making great food and like to keep things organised. We are looking for full-time or part-time work in Melbourne and want some routine back, by living in a flat and not 10 bed dorm hostels!
Hey, I'm Ana and I'm 21. Born in NZ, lived in Aus half of my life. Currently working at the Post Office, Monday to Friday. Love running, staying healthy, eating, meeting new people and going out every now and then. I am very clean and tidy and keep to myself. Also easy to get on with and sociable. Loves a Bev or 10 at the end of the work week. Looking to meet and live with cool people who are fun and easy going.
Hey folks, EXCHANGE STUDENT; GERMAN; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY; 25; NICE; TIDY; LAUGHING; FUN So first of all, my name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
I am a professional photographer and teacher of photography. I am simple and quiet boy, I love movies, drink a beer, walk to the beach and animals (I have no pets) Searching for accommodation at the beach or near. I am a very careful and respectful. I am interested about a room in a shared flat, with a yard preferred. I am a French 27 year old guy. I arrived mid October in Melbourne. I like St Kilda area. I am used to share flats, in France I was sharing a house with a garden, cat and dog with 2 friends of mine for 2 years. I also spent one semester with a Brazilian and a German when I studied in the Netherlands. I am clean and I love cooking. In fact I prefer eating but nobody cooks for me so I had to adapt since in am 10, I also have to work out to not get fat. I am going to get a job as a labourer next week and I want to stay for at least 3 months.
My name is Josh. A 25 year old, who enjoys a peaceful yet balanced environment. For me, work, gym, studies and an occasional drink makes up a typical week. I appreciate clean surroundings and relaxing conversations. My energy goes mainly towards work and gym but I'm open to spontaneous trips when my schedule allows me to.

I am a clean, respectful, and social woman of 22 from Montreal. I am on a working visa in Australia for one year and am planning on staying in Melbourne the entire year. I love my own space, but I do love to hang out as well. I am looking for a quiet environment that does not host big parties every week. I have lived with other flatmates before and have always gotten along very well. I have become friends with most of them. The only thing that annoys me is a dirty kitchen because I love to cook, so this is pretty much my only requirement that will make me happy!
23 year old female from the U.K Staying and working in Melbourne for a few months. I'm very laid back, not one to take things too seriously! Looking to hopefully stay with someone who knows how to have a laugh! However i do like my own privacy from time to time. Im sort of a neat freak so like to keep things clean and tidy too!
Hi there, I am a french traveller in my early thirties, looking for a cozy place and great people to live with. I am open-minded, pretty easy-going and chilled, very respectful of my flatmates' privacy and also enjoy sharing some time, ideas and opinions around a glass of wine. I also enjoying running or any kind of sport or exercice, especially outdoor, into photography and music, and enjoy cooking from time to time.
My name is Carlos, I'm from Spain, I'm 30 years old and I have just moved to Melbourne because I am going to work here as an IT engineer. I had the opportunity to live in Morocco, France, Germany, Russia and Kazakhstan and now I am going to begin a new life in Australia. Last year I was working in the Spanish Embassy in Moscow and two years ago in Berlin so as you can see I have moved a lot. I think I am an open minded guy, easy going and capable to adapt to any kind of flatmates. If you are the kind of person who likes sharing thoughts in order to fix the world while having dinner, you can count on me. And if you are a busy person who prefer to be alone it also works fine for me.

Hi there! My name's Lea, I'm at a 23 year old woman from Vancouver, Canada. I graduated from uni with a history major last May and decided that between that and grad school I would love to do a few months in Melbourne and explore Australia! I've got the work-holiday visa and am planning to find a serving job or something like that. Pretty easy-going gal, I'm very friendly and love to chat, but also am into alone time to relax and chill out. Funny, respectful, love both cats and dogs (will help you take care of your pet if you have one!), anything else you want to know please feel free to send me a message! Also, I'm very flexible with the length of my stay, I just put 3 months a bit randomly because I had to choose one.
Hi there, I'm Benji! I am 27 and I'm currently working full time at a high school in Camberwell as an admin staff and general tech whiz! I'm also studying part time on the weekends to be a dog trainer, my course ends in January next year. I've just been told by my landlord that she will be demolishing the property I've been living at for the last 4 years and I need to find new accommodation before December 27th (merry Christmas, y'all!). I would be like to be out by the end of November ideally, but happy to work with you on a date depending on the property. I'm also pretty easy on location, so long as I can get to work in Camberwell in under an hour, I'm stoked! A bit about me: I love animals. I have two dogs named Squish and Nibbler. Squish is a 4 year old male Rottie X and Nibbler is a 2 year old female Kelpie X. They are both desexed, have been obedience trained, crate trained and I take them for regular walks. They are the dynamic duo and A-team! Squish will do anything for a treat and Nibbler lives for the ball, so they're good fun! I would also be bringing a 3 foot aquarium with me, but would be happy to keep it in my room if there isn't space elsewhere. It's a tie between coffee and TV for my drug of choice. I also love art, music, books, comics and Game of Thrones! I also like to build things...for example, I built a dog bunk bed and a couple of film sets (spaceships!) I'm currently living in a fully furnished house with all the trimmings, so if you think I could add anything of value to your house as well, I'd be happy to oblige! The rest will likely end up in the skip or in storage. Things like: 3 plasma TVs, stainless steel fridge, bar fridge, Nespresso machine, washing machine, vacuum, SEVERAL couches, desk, dining room table and chairs, lawn mower, whipper snipper, lots of tools, an outdoor gas heater, a media centre pc and several terabytes of movies and TV shows! I have lived in houseshares before and would like some people I can hang out with, though I am respectful of other people's space. I clean up after myself and, obviously, my dogs. I'm pretty easy going, so hit me up if you think you'd like to meet me and my pooches!
Hello, looking for a place to live in the next 6 weeks. I'm working and saving money for a trip along the Australian east coast. Very respectful of others spaces and things, very tired of living in hostels. I'm friendly, kind and fun, I guess! I can cook some Italian dishes and would love to share everything I have with my future housemates!
I am extremely clean so I prefer to live on my own for this reason. I spend most of my time at work. I am studying as well as working next year. I'm searching for a place on my own in a studio or one bedroom apartment. Please message me if you have something available around the 16th of January when my current lease is up. I'm open to locations around Melbourne. Please send a link with pictures of the place :) Requirements: -Car park -Room to fit king sized bed & draws -Price - can go to $350 if the place is amazing! i.e., gym, new apartment or studio, LUG, location, etc. Thanks! :)
I am a very friendly and a warm person. I like to keep things neat and I mostly keep to myself reading novels or my kindle. I love to cook but rarely do so. I do enjoy an occasional social party and I adjust very easily. :)

Grew up with 3 sisters so very much house trained, friendly and considerate of others. Have a fairly busy life from work, but always try to have a catch up when i have the time. Hey! I'm Catherine and am looking for a share house in or around st kilda. I'm currently studying and working full-time in the city so living close to public transport is a must! Outside of work, I like to keep active by riding or walking. I also enjoy reading, watching movies/tv shows, going to the beach or heading out to a new cafe or bar Although I'm a bit of an introvert, I'm friendly and love meeting new people. I like to keep things clean, and am respectful of other people's property and space. If any of this interests you, or you have any questions, please feel free to message me :) Thanks!
Looking for a private room for the coming months in this amazing city. Born and raised in Amsterdam and half Japanese. Am tidy and clean, enjoy going out as well as cooking a nice dinner at home. Love drinking tea, as well as nice glass of wine or just a beer in the sun. Like going for runs when I feel like ;) and am enjoying life as it come.
Hi my name is Albie. I work full time and also work a few nights at a little IGA. I am pretty quiet during the week. Am always up for a chat, dinner, tv and a few drinks at the end of a long day. Am respectfull of others personal space and belongings. I am clean and tidy I'm nature, and happy to help out in any aspect around the house. Looking for a place to call home, with a nice relaxed vibe that I can come home to after a long day. I like to catch up with mates on the weekend and get out of the house. Also like to go away for weekends to the beach or camping whenever possible and always up for doing new things. Ideally seeking an unfurnished room in an existing share house, however am more than wiilling to team up with others and create a new share house as well. Would ideally want a minimum stay period of 6 months. However I am flexible with this if I found the right fit. Not 100% on where I want to move to yet, so I just put down a few posibilities. Send me a message if you are looking to team up or have a spot, and think I would suit your place. We can discuss details and plan a catch up. 😊
I am a pretty buisy 35 y/o Aussie with the being/doing of life but strive for a balance: fitness, health, waitressing, art studies, sound healing meditations, singing, performing, business, art, spanish and so forth. I like to meet new people from different walks of life and enjoy the occasional chat in the kitchen while going about things with the occasional bbq or shared meal or place to hang out with my housies. :) Looking for a place to call home and work on projects, perhaps even set up an area to do sound healing meditations if their is space. Holaa if you'd like to know more about me. Im a pretty easy going person to live with, respectful, pays bills on time, likes to laugh and not take things too seriously.
While transitioning (bolstering my financial situation) from a charity I set up I experienced shared house living and have found it to be both enjoyable and good for all involved when the conditions are right. Circumstance has me looking for a new shared environment so here I am. Oh yes - I believe in leaving spaces I visit cleaner than I found them and do my best to 'pay rent & bills ahead of time' if possible. Love exercise - especially supping (stand up paddle boarding) on a small wave - and being around positive people.
Hello hello! We are an *AWESOME* couple looking for some peace of mind so we can get work done! Bruno is an entrepreneur. He owns an advertising agency in Brazil and is currently launching a new online business - so he's always working on his laptop (either at home or in some trendy cafe). His mains hobbies are reading, networking, attending seminars and exercising outdoors. Oh, and he also writes about Personal Development. Leticia is a ballerina. She has a promising career as a contemporary dancer and has even performed internationally with big names in the industry. She's a very active individual, and is always moving - either taking ballet classes, practicing yoga or doing pilates. We've been travelling Australia & New Zealand for the past 3 months in search for the perfect city to settle down. After visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Perth, Auckland and Queenstown, we finally have a winner :) Right now we're looking for a place with central location to set our base. Bruno will be doing lots of work and going to business meet ups, and Leticia will be outside visiting dance studios and honing her craft. We're very easygoing and have a positive mindset, and we value a clean and organized environment. And as much as we love to chat and interact, we can also respect your privacy if you're not very talkative. Oh and 2 things that are important to mention: 1. We are both vegan and we love to cook - so we'll use the kitchen a lot! But don't worry because we always clean up after ourselves. 2. Bruno is allergic to cats and cigarettes. So it must be a no-cats, no-smoking house. If you read this far and believe we'd be a compatible match for your place, then send us a message and let's get to know each other! We can't wait to meet our new flatmate ;)
I work full time as a graphic designer during the week and like to relax, socialise and exercise in the evenings. I'm very easy going but not that easy going that I leave a mess all the time. I can cook and am not afraid to help out keeping the place tidy. At the weekends I love to get out and do things and socialise at night so would be great to find like minded people.
My name is Bárbara, i'm 36 years old and have born in Bilbao, Spain. I´m a creative writing teacher. The last years I helped my students publishing their stories and contributed in its layout and promotion. I really enjoy being socially active, this is my first time in Australia and I consider this as a great opportunity to experience the Australian lifestyle. I've come to Melbourne to study english and because I've heard wonderful things about this city.
Hi ! My name is Laura and I have been in Australia since January 2016 but have just returned from a 3 month S.E Asia trip! I am looking forward to spending the next 3 months here in wonderful Melbourne. I am a nurse and will be working with my agency in the local hospitals. Although I work hard, in my free time I love to go out explore the city, eat all the food, drink all the coffee, and indulge in the Brunswick rd bar scene. Look forward to meeting you and making the most of my last 3 months in Aus!!
Happy and outgoing couple who have been in Australia for around a month! Sam is from the UK and is working full time for a sales company out of richmond, Julie is from denmark also working for a sales company in Richmond! We both are socialable and up for a good laugh, like to eat out and have a few drinks a few nights a week! We are in Melbourne till next year when we are looking to travel more of Australia!
I'm moving to Melbourne to work for a cool cloud software company - kind of fell into the software world by chance despite having a degree in biology, but I've been told I'm a good teacher, and have been working the last couple of years in implementing software for customers around the world! LOVE travel, music, a good laugh (maybe too much), nature, and driving - in fact, I don't know how I'm gonna survive in Melbourne without my car, but I'll have to learn to let go of my attachments......
I am super quiet, very clean and tidy and really only need this place for 2-3, max 4 nights per week. The rest of the days I'll be in Geelong helping nan out. I work nightshift therefor will arrive home in between 6-830 in the mornings and sleep almost of the day, so you'll barely know I'm there 😊🌻💁🏾
Incredibly tidy, respectful and quiet however I am always up for drinks and television. Plays video games and listens to metal. Out a lot and am pretty chill and easy going.
Hello, we are young couple who just moved to Melbourne for work. We are easy going, friendly people who like good food, wine and music. We love to make new friends while staying in Melbourne. We are neat and respectful. We are looking for a place where we can rest after work and socialize.
I'm a 24 y/o easy going Swede on a Working holiday Visa. I plan to stick around here in Melbourne over the summer season, working within hospitality. As a roomate I am social and up for activities of all sorts with my roomies, but still respectfull of the occasional human need for private space! Prior to my travels I spended 3 years in uni back in Sweden, all of them living in a dorm with other international students. To sum it up, I am use to take my fair share of responsibility in a shared accomodation, and I've heard that I'm a fun person to be around! Cheers! // Isak
Hi! We are Charlotte and Rory, two friends from Canada who moved to Melbourne back in August! We are both 23 years old and are employed as teachers here in Melbourne. We are looking for a place where we can live together, either sharing a room (with separate beds) or each having our own room. We are also open to team ups! We are both clean and non-smokers. We work during the week but like to have fun on the weekends, while still being respectful of our housemates. Please contact us if you want two fun and responsible housemates!
Hey! We're George and Dan, currently living in Melbourne - kicking off our 1 Year working VISAs ! Two guys looking for a place to live in Sydney for 2-3 months (January - March). Both easy-going, interested in travel and keen to see as much of Sydney as we can! Drop us a message if you have any questions :) Thanks!
I just moved to Melbourne from Israel for 6 months on a working holiday visa. Will work full-time and party on weekends. Looking for cool people to share a home with, cook and go out together. Lived with roomates for over 3 years, I am tidy, fun and easy to live with.
My hobbies include dragging myself to the gym, binge watching Netflix and then not watching anything again for months, brunch, and caffeine. I work the typical 9 to 5 job. I enjoy having a chat in the evening and won't just go to my room and shut the door. I'm tidy, have an understanding of the concept of hygiene, not a thief, and have all the other traits of a normal house mate. I don't expect I'll be the person you'll be telling horror stories about in 10 years.
Hey guys ! My name is Franck, I'm 27, gay and I'm French and I'm just about to officially become an aussie citizen ! I have been living in australia for 4 years now, including 1 year in Melbourne and I am planning on staying here for a while ! I work full time in hospitality and I am really serious when it comes to money and paying bills on time. I lived in London, Switzerland, Bora bora, Australia... and always in shared accomodations. I am a bit of a night owl, mostly due to my work ! I rarely say no to the cheeky glass of vino or spritz, but I am not a party animal really.. But when I do have a big week end of party, I like to keep it away from home really ! I'd love to find an awesome place to call home and hopefully some more awesome flatmates to call mates !! That's all I can think of really ! Cheers !
I am a down to earth, friendly, reliable and clean guy (non-smoker) who has a full-time job in engineering, and enjoys doing various sports and activities at his spare time, crossfit, soccer, cycling. I'm looking for a room (preferably furnished) in St Kilda, South Yarra or surrounding areas
We like a good drink but love a movie night also. Fully house trained boyfriend. I'm working full time for Uber Eats HQ but have a degree in Fashion communication and promotion, Jack is a full time landscaper. Would love to be shown around Melbourne having just arrived from England! Looking for a minimum 3 Month stay to be somewhere homely for Christmas! Contact me for more information!
Hi! I'm currently studying my last few months of Master of Engineering Management at Melbourne uni. I did my undergrad at UQ (Brisbane) and graduated in 2013. I'm a 25 y/o Australian permanent resident, originally from Indonesia. I need to move out from my current place on 31st December at the latest, so I would prefer to move in to a new place 1-2 weeks before that. I've lived in a college and a sharehouse before, so I'm not a stranger to communal living. I'm clean and responsible. You won't find me leaving dirty dishes in the sink for more than 10 minutes. My hobbies: trying out new restaurants, going out for drinks, playing video games, watching soccer/football, napping, and fiddling with audio gear. I'm an "extroverted introvert", which means I enjoy others' company but sometimes I just want to do my own thing. I'm currently looking for a place that's easily accessible by public transport. Budget around $150-$250 (still flexible). Please shoot me a message!
Hello future Flatmates, I'm looking for a nice, clean modern home with awesome flatmates. About me: 32 from Mexico, been living in Sydney for the past 3.5 yrs, just launched a small Advertising Agency, and recently landed an important contract here in Melbourne. I'm pretty easy going, clean, tidy, respectful, into fitness and health, have a good sense of humor, like going out for drinks and dancing. I'm looking to get settled in ASAP so please don't hesitate to get in touch with me. Thanks! Enrique
I'll be beginning my Masters of Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne in 2017, I'll still be working part-time, and am a 2nd dan black belt who teaches and trains in taekwondo. I am looking for a place preferably closer to the city and uni and for new housemates (1 or 2 max) who either want to hunt for a place with me or have found somewhere already and need an extra housemate. I don't have any pets, but I love them so I'm cool with yours. I'm very house proud but am by no means a homebody and when I'm not at work, uni or catching up with friends, I can usually be found out in my kayak, on my bike, at the dojang or going for a run which you would always be welcome to join me at but I won't force you too! When I'm at home, I'm quite neat (and I hope for my housemates to be the same), I'm a good cook, and do enjoy getting to share a meal with others. I love a good chat, intelligent or silly, and a household full of laughter. I believe home should be a positive and happy place and not a place where everyone goes and hides in their room at the end of the day without talking. I do however believe everyone needs their own quiet time and I am respectful of that but I will always put a good book down to chat and be social instead. :) I'm more experienced living with guys however your gender, sexual orientation, race, favourite colour, football team or star sign all hold no bearing on your suitability as a housemate to me. The only thing I ask is that you have a positive attitude and are the type of person who is easy to get along with and inclusive of others regardless of their differences. I have most things needed for a household inc. everything needed for a kitchen, a comfy couch, washing machine, coffee machine, large flat-screen telly, linen, towels, an iron etc. I don't need to bring everything with me (some of it is currently in storage already) however I definitely do not want a bedroom that is already furnished as it would not feel like home to me without my own. I am not picky when it comes to finding a place (ok, shower curtains creep me out!) however, I do have a car and a kayak so a place that has secure parking and somewhere safe to keep my bike is essential. I am also avoiding apartments that do not have built in laundry facilities and require the use of a communal/ coin laundry if it can be helped. Before contacting me please make sure your listing has the following requirements: Off-street parking, unfurnished private room, non-couples, no more than 2 additional housemates. Thank you.
Hey guys! We are a friendly Irish couple looking for a place to rent near the st kilda area at the end of October. We are both on a year working visa looking to stay 3 months or upto a year (see how it goes). We will be working full time while enjoying what Australia has to offer on our time off. We are reliable, easy to get along with, clean and tidy and like to cook (and drink occasionally) ha. Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing from you :)
I'm relatively new to Melbourne (from Brisbane), currently looking for a new home. I work full time, including some nights, in events/marketing in Brighton. I'm looking for somewhere furnished (bedroom can be unfurnished), although would love to add to the home as I go! My interests include socialising over delicious food & wine, music, fashion and Yoga. I tend to be relatively busy, so like to keep tidy and organised. I'm currently very much invested in my job and like to be at the gym or seeing friends for coffee or a cocktail in between. Eager to meet more wonderful Melb people and establish a beautiful, relaxed, fun place to live.

I am super chilled to live with. Get on with anyone and I'm clean! I spend most of my time either working or in the gym/playing sports. My main aspiration on arriving back in Melbourne is to create a successful business for myself so that is mainly what I intend to be doing and working on! If you have any questions ask away! Adam
Hey, we're Sam and Leanne and we are both over here on our working holiday visas. We have both been travelling around for the last 5 months and are now looking to settle in to Melb and work! Sam- I'm 25 and from the UK. I'm really sociable and love a good night outs but also love having my own time. I'm in to music, food, tattoos, comedy, yoga and skating. I've been working for Base in Magnetic Island for the last 2.5 months so am looking forward to some degree of normality for a bit! I'm also pretty clean and tidy and am slowwwwly becoming a pretty passable cook.
Hey there, My name is Ben, im 29 and from nz. Im am super friendly, very kind, clean and respectful. I like to have a good chat and a laugh over a beverage. I work in constructuon and start pretty early in the morning so a good night sleep during weekedays is a must for me and i have a car so need to be able to park somewhere (even if its on the st, aslong as i dont get a ticket) but other than that im pretty easy going. If you have any questions fell free to ask. Im only looking for something for like 2-3wks but could easily change to 6wks.
