I’m 28, from Liverpool, single, no kids, no pets, university-educated (MSc). I would definitely consider myself to be nice, easy-going, open-minded, easy to get on with, respectful, open to making new friends, but also respectful of boundaries and privacy. I've just left China after living there for 4.5 years, working as a kindergarten English teacher. Looking to start the next stage of my life in Melbourne. I don't drink much anymore, but still like to go out at weekends with friends. Light smoker, basically only at the end of a hard day, but will definitely respect house rules and smoke outside if that's preferred. Not really into crazy parties anymore, much prefer quiet nights in with good company. Obsessed with music, but own a great pair of headphones, so would be a quiet guest. Health and fitness are very important to me, usually go to the gym 5/6 days per week. Into: reading; music; science; politics; sports; all the usual. Basically a nice, respectful guy, looking for a nice, affordable place to live, with nice, respectful people. Feel free to message me if you want to know anything at all.
Hi there! My name is Simone. A 23-year old dutchie who will be travelling Australia from the first week of Junuary. I am a sportive girl who enjoys social activities such as going out, going to the beach, watching movies, cooking etc. I am currently looking for a temporary place to stay for my first three months in Australia (Melbourne) since I will be working and staying there for a while before I move on to Sydney. I will probably be working at a restaurant or bar (if I can find a job there). I would love a place with a (few) housemate(s) to kick-off my trip with and to discover Melbourne with!
We are a young couple who are both currently working and studying. Emily will soon be finishing her double degree in Arts and Music and Nick is studying Architecture and Construction Management. Emily works at Cancer Council Victoria and has a retail job on the side, Nick works at IKEA part time and can hook you up with a sweet IKEA discount for any extra things you need around the house. We both work and/or go to uni most days so we will be coming and going a lot. We are both friendly and sociable but like to have time to ourselves as well. We like to cook, go out for brunch, we love dogs (though we don't have a pet) and we are both tidy and reliable housemates. Nick has been living in share-houses for 2 years.
Work as a Chemical and Process Engineer in the city at a consultancy. Recently moved here from New Zealand and am a very friendly and active individual. Looking for a nice tidy home to join with some good people. Can respect privacy if a house mate is wanting to relax, but also outgoing and love a beer. Feel free to flick me a message if you think I sound right to join you 😊
I am looking for accommodation in the neighbouring suburb of South Melbourne. I am IT geek working for MNC, love to socialize with like-minded people over wine/beer, watch movies and sports during leisure time. Happy to go lucky person generally relaxed and go well with people ..not much fuss I am very keen on cleanliness and tidiness of place and believe in the lead by example...
Easy going kind of person. Clean and chill. A bit social but preferred a down time for myself because of my lifestyle (work-study-work-gym). I like quite place and looking for a place which is not a party house and doesn’t invite strangers from time to time. I’m very open minded and like to do things on my own but I’m always up for a glass of wine whenever I’m free. Looking for a place near train station or tram stop. Unfortunately I’m avoiding any pets atm as I have allergies 🤭.
I'm easy to get along with, quiet ,tidy and respectful . I like to live in a calm clean home. (Not a party house). I'm a great cook and enjoy cooking so a shared meal sometimes would be great. I eat healthy, not many take outs. I enjoy a wine and a chat. I like cats but don't have one. I'm not home much during the week and travel sometimes for work. To chill I relax in front of the tv or go for a walk. For fun I like to walk, go shopping or hang in the city or the beach, go for brunch, latin dancing and going to the movies.
Planning to move to Melbourne in 2020 for university. I am a quiet and easy going person. It would be ideal to have my own room, where I am able to bring some of my own stuff with me. I would also be interested in teaming-up with any other people looking in the same areas or surrounding areas.
