Hello. I am a visual merchandiser and book buyer for an independent bookshop in Melbourne, which keeps me busy during the week. On weekends (and also some evenings) I concentrate on my visual art/design practice in my studio. Beyond this, I like to read, spend time outdoors, attend yoga classes and catch up with friends. I am a very considerate, reasonable, independent flatmate that enjoys living in and maintaining a nice, clean, peaceful and uncomplicated home.
Hi everyone! It's Tom here, lover of plants, food and coffee. I'm fully house trained, looking for a sharehouse with great vibes to call home! Currently working full time in the CBD, looking to be a little closer to work.
Hi, I'm Leon, 24, IT professional working full time. I'm from Brisbane, but I've just landed a job in Melbourne and therefore need to make a move I'm career focused, enthusiastic, easy going, friendly and mature (I have to, when the majority of my time at my previous job involves training and dealing with CFOs and high level management staff). I'm looking for a place to call home because moving is such a huge pain, so long term is preferred. Hopefully I can make friends with the housemates, too. By the way, I'm gay so ideally I'm looking to share the house with other gay friends or gay friendly people. I'm clean and tidy and willing to share housework. I need a room that has enough storage for me to put my stuff away, preferably ones that have a BIR/WIR. I also have a car so I will need parking. On street or off street, it doesn't matter, as long as it's legal and safe. Hobbies include music, long drives, road trips, movies, eating out, drinking etc. Hopefully you and I can find something in common that we can do together 😁. I'll be in Melbourne from Thursday (24/08) and will stay until Monday (28/08), so if you have any question, please send me a message. I need to get my accommodation sorted by Friday 01/09 in preparation for the interstate moving and for my job to start.
I am a pretty easygoing, relaxed, friendly kind of person who is neat and tidy, likes to live a healthy and active lifestyle and is a respectful and social kind of housemate. I am looking for a place to call home or even a team up to start a new place with fun and easy going housemates. I work full time as a sales manager mond-fri and like to keep busy. I am honest and caring in nature and respect others and their privacy but also dont mind sharing a meal or helping out around the place. I like pets, going to gym in between the week, making new friends and exploring cafes and food places around melbourne and don't mind watching a bit of Netflix from time to time. Look forward to hearing from you, send me a message and we can meet up. Cheers!
We are incredibly clean and respectful and have plenty of experience living with others. Corey is passionate about his music and work. And Michiru is a talented baker and amazing cook. We both work hard and spend most of our time out and about in Melbourne :)
Hey, I am an events florist and also a floristry student. Previously studied graphic design. I am looking at 2 bed properties around Elwood/StKilda/Balaclava and would be keen to have someone to move in with. Max total rent I'm looking at is around $320 per week (so 160 per person) I don't go out all that much, I'm really chill, happy to have a couple friends round and ideally would love to join my friends with yours. Big on personal space and will definitely give you yours. I like things to be clean and presentable. If you're also looking for a place then get in contact with me :)
Im a 26 Y/O Male who has a full time career and Im looking for a place to stay for the next 6-12 months. Im a very busy and active person but also enjoy to chill and have a chat now and then. Im very clean and tidy and respectful of others. :)
I have recently moved to Melbourne to finish my degree after travelling South America and the UK. I'm a musician, I love theatre and I'm studying to teach both to youth. I'm part-time and work 4 to 5 days a week at a bar/pizzeria called the lucky coq on chapel street. I'm an easy going and very social person. As everyone says on their profile "I'm clean and tidy," when I say this I'm being honest. I don't like a dirty house because clutter/mess makes it hard to think straight but that definitely doesn't mean if you leave a chocolate bar wrapper on the coffee table for an hour I'll lose the plot. I love this city and the arts culture it has to offer, if you'll consider having me as a roomy I'll be grateful! Chuck me a message and we can meet up for coffee or beer. Cheers!
SEEKING: * Unfurnishd bedroom * Air conditioning/cooling in bedroom * On/off street parking for my car Hi there! I'm friendly and easy going, seeking somewhere new to call home. I am very clean, tidy and zero drama. Currently studying an MBA (almost finished!) and about about to return to working full time. Need to leave my current apartment in Elsternwick as the landlord wants to move in :( I am eager to move asap but can stay in my current place until first week if October if necessary. My lovely current roommate has found a new place to live to but without air conditioning so I'm seeking a new place. Seeking a room with space for my desk as I often have to do alot of study in the evenings. I have a fridge and washing machine I purchased only 2 months ago plus a couch and other furniture. Will either sell or put in storage if my new place doesn't have space for it.
Lived in sharehouses for 5 years now, once with 3 people, more recently just two people & now looking to share with just one other person, easy to get along with & work M-F 8:30 to 5:30. I'm social, love the areas & work in the city, I enjoy gym after work and heading out on the weekends, Looking for someone easy to get along with that enjoys their own space as well as occasionally up for having a chat, dinner or a drink.
Hi there! I have relocated from Perth to Melbourne, and am looking for a place to live ASAP. I'm a mature, tidy, respectful housemate that gets along with people of all age groups, and walks of life. I'm a creative type that loves making art, photography, reading, live music, and watching kitschy b-grade films. My ideal home would be a safe place with a private room (preferably with enough space on the floor to do yoga), relatively close to public transport, with friendly people that like to have a laugh. I would like to stay for at least six months if possible. Sadly I don't have any pets of my own, but I adore animals (especially cats!). I'm thrilled to finally call your beautiful city my home, and I'm looking forward to meeting you! Thanks for looking!
Clean tidy and friendly, looking for a quiet house, flatshare for a few months while My girlfriend goes off to do her farm work. Max budget 180p/w also must be furnished.. please do not contact me if you don't have any of the things listed from above. I'm not interested in anywhere that's old and messy.. Thanks :)
I'm a registered nurse working at the Alfred hospital, i do shift work which means my time at home varies from week to week. I grew up in East Gippsland and have lived in various other places before moving to Melbourne at the start of the year. I am friendly and easy to get along with and looking for something a bit closer to work, to shorten the commute and take full advantage of the Melbourne lifestyle. I am looking for somewhere with housemates i can be friends with but not a party house. I am also an avid cook and love to travel :)
I've been living in St Kilda for about 18 months now and need a new place to call home now that the lease in my current place is up! I'm a social gal, partial to a wine and dinner but I also like my own space and able to respect the privacy of others. I'm clean and tidy, especially with communal areas of the home and always pay rent and bills on time! Ideally I'm looking for somewhere in the Prahan area with like minded people - if you have any animals that's only a plus!
Hi, my name is Juana and I'm a Colombian lawyer. I'm planning to move to Melbourne in September, so I'm looking for a place where I can stay for 5 months. As I told you before, I'm a lawyer with a postgraduate degree, but nowadays I'm working in my own business of pastry (I love to cook :)) I lived in Melbourne two years ago, but unfortunately I had to come back to Colombia to have an eye surgery. Now that I've seen that things have been going well with my eyes, I decided to go back to Melbourne because I loved that city and I want to finish the course I was taking. I'm a responsible, tidy, and reliable person and when I was in Melbourne I had a great experience with my French roommate: we shared a lot of moments and support each other, but we respected our privacy as well :) I love to meet people from different parts of the world and fortunately since I was a child I had the opportunity to travel to different countries, so I consider myself as an open minded and respectful person. I'll be studying and working part time and I'm not interested in a party house. I don't mind if you have pets, actually I love animals :)
Hey everybody! We are Daniel and Svenja, a German couple, that is on a little world trip since June. Before we came to Australia, we lived and worked in Canada. Before that, Daniel finished his Masters Degree while working part-time and Svenja worked for four years as an Executive Assistant after her Bachelors Degree. If friends would describe us, they would probably say that we are very open-minded, organized and clean. Back home we already lived together for more than 3 years not only alone but with other flatmates. Therefore, we always respect others privacy and way of living. We are no party people, but like good conversations with a glass of wine or a cup of tea. As we will start our new jobs in Melbourne on the 22nd August, we are looking for an apartment very soon. We are looking forward to hear from you soon!
Hi there, I'm a current sydneysider looking at moving to Melbourne. I'm currently looking for somewhere short term (3-6 months) while I secure a more permanent job and something more suitable for my daughter and I. Unfortunately for me, my daughter will not be living with me in Melbourne until I am able to secure a long term house, but she will be visiting every 3 weeks. Im a pretty relaxed person, I don't party very much at all, I'm a huge foodie and I love cooking, I love anything studio ghibli, I'm a pretty outdoorsy person so I'll most likely be out for periods of time, exploring. I'm bubbly and easy to get along with and I love animals so if you have pets, I can guarantee they'll be my best friend.
I consider myself to be a laid-back, peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals and any kind of fitness. I'm someone who likes socialising and equally enjoys time by myself. I tend to keep things tidy and respect shared space. Always up for going out exploring and trying new things or just lay back sit at home and watch something. Un-winding with a drink is something I tend to engage in. I'm from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters of business in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time.
I'm a 23 year old girl from Estonia, currently visiting Estonia and looking for a new place to live when i'm getting back in 2. September. I'm working full-time in a Corporate members club in Melbourne CBD and starting school in November. I'm an outgoing friendly person, i'm really easy to get along with, i'm like a chameleon when it comes to different people, i'm up to having dinner/drinks together but also with my busy schedule balancing work and school you might not even notice me living there. i've lived in Australia for 2 years now and had a few flatmates already so i'm aware of what would be expected of me, i'm very conscientious person and i clean up after myself :) looking for: - long term accommodation - Ideally $200 - $250 pcw including bills, however, i am open to paying more should the opportunity for the right house/ right people become available! - PRIVATE room only, but more than happy to share the house/apartment/bathroom with multiple people - somewhere very accessible to public transport
