I'm an actor from New York City. I love cleaning. I'm super friendly. People tell me I'm really funny. There are very few things that make me angry. Favorite things include yoga, netflix, pizza, green tea, really big breakfasts, going out to dinner.
I'm from Canada, new to the area so hoping to live with like minded people I can do things with and be friends with. I'm moving to Melbourne for an exchange at Monash for criminology and women and gender studies. Good roommate because: I am clean, respectful, responsible, organized. I'm super friendly, and adventurous, as well I love to cook and bake and always share what I make. I like outdoorsy things, beach days, festivals and care free dancing, going to the gym, I am dedicated to my studies, I like chill nights in, good nights out, and going for casual drinks and food.
Hey Guys and Gals! I am a 24 year old creative (music producer) who is currently looking for work in sales full time. I am a talker, observe and kind person who is very easy going and likes his own space. I mainly want to share a place with other creatives so we can all vibes off each-others projects and energy. I am very clean and tidy having lived with women my whole life and do like things to be in order, but am not an overly clean freak.
Hi, I am nice, clean and considerate. I am french and a full time student in a bachelor of business (marketing) and at home I will spend a lot of time on my computer (internet/video games...) so if you need some time alone or some silence to concentrate there is no problem but if you want to do anything with me just ask and I'll be glad to join you :) I like video games, music, tv and netflix, cooking and exploring both the city and the nature. I also intend to start going to the gym so if possible to go with anyone that would be even better. I am not messy in common area just maybe a little with my own stuff in my room that's why I am mostly looking for a private room so that it doesn't bother you. Otherwise I clean after me and I have no problem participating in housework. I already have had two apartment on my own in France and there hasn't been any trouble with them, I always got my full deposit back when leaving as the apartments were left in perfect condition. The move in date is approximate, I will arrive in Australia the 13th february (can't enter the country earlier) and I will start the university the 21st. If you want to know anything else just ask ;)
Hey everyone! i reckon i'd be sick to live with, i have been living in Port Melbourne on my own for a year now and would love to get a place with some like minded people. last year i was in Canada doing volunteer work at a kids camp! and this year i am studying a course in outdoor recreation in 2017. id love to get to know everyone im living with so you can expect to have a few nights in and to share some stories over some beers. oh and one more thing, write this down so you dont forget, i like alot of fresh fruit around the house.. and chocolate chips in my pancakes!
I am a very positive-minded and tidy person. I have always lived in shared houses in Belgium and in Germany and prefer to live together with other people. Hanging out with housemates is great, but I also respect my housemates' privacy.
Hey there! My girlfriend and I have just moved to Melbourne to explore the deep subculture of brunching and fa$hion killas. One Sydneysider here, who has seen the light in Melbourne. One Swedish backpacker with a great personality! Both of us have degrees and are hunting for jobs in our respective fields. We met in Canada whilst living abroad, with the adventure ranging from camping in Yosemite National Park in the States to surfing Sydney's beaches. Choose us and we'll swap adventure stories! P.S. We aren't massive on the party scene anymore, but we do love a drink and chat on weekends!
Why choose me as your room mate? Well I am not a weirdo - so that's always a good start. I am your typical Aussie female; I am down to earth, was raised in the country but always had the heart of a city girl beating inside me. To sum me up I would say that I am creative, professional and animated. I enjoy socialising, being active, the performing arts, red wine, movies and getting out and about! I am respectful and I am truly easy going. Some people just say they are easy going...but I assure you that if you are respectful like myself then I am tots easy going. I believe in keeping shared spaces and living spaces clean but I am more flexible with bedrooms. If your room is that messy we can just close the door and wolla it's hidden. Who do I want to share a rental with? Well that's easy, I want to live with people who are just good people, have decent morals, want to pay bills on time, are respectful to live with and are easy to get along with.
Hi, we are four girls from the UK looking for somewhere to stay, we aren't certain on the longevity of our stay but most likely 2 - 3 months +. We are all in our early 20s and would preferably separate rooms however 2 rooms may be considered. All clean and tidy, easygoing and fun. We all have savings and will have employment shortly. Would also prefer all bills included but doesn't matter if not! Pm me if you have anything available or would like to share. Thanks 😊
I’m moving from Canberra to Melbourne in mid (15th) February to start an Arts/Science degree at Deakin University, I’ll also be working part time. I’ve been living in share housing for the last 3 years so I understand the importance of respecting your housemates and their privacy, but I am a very chatty and friendly person and love spending time with housemates. I am very respectful, clean and sociable. I love good music, nice wine and am generally very relaxed and easy going. I spend most of me free time reading, hiking and drinking way to much coffee (one of the perks of living with me is that I come with a coffee machine!) I’m a trained vet nurse and animal lover and I have two kitties of my own (who will be staying with friends in Canberra) so living with other fur babies would be ideal. I love cooking and am happy to make meals for the house the share, I'm also always up for a talk and a drink. Please let me know if you have any questions about me, looking forward to hearing from you soon Sophie
Both 20 year old full time students at Deakin University, enjoys quiet time during the week and catching up with friends on the weekends. We are clean, respectful, fun and lively girls looking for kind housemates to live with. We have a tight budget and do not mind a small intimate room, we are keen and excited for what ever there is to offer for us.
I work as an Architect full time. I like to stay active. Most weeknights I'm either working at my second job, out with friends or ideally at home. I leave to the gym around 0445 am so I am out for most of the day during the week. Weekends I like to catch up with friends/housemates and prep for the week ahead. I can also cook, I consider myself very easy to get along with. Oh, would be great to get a car space if possible. Looking for min 6 month stay...but flexible. Available now! If you have any other questions please ask :)
My partner and I are looking for a room in a fun, social environment, we are both clean and very reliable, love to have a good time, very easy to get along with and enjoy meeting new people. We are both 28 and we work full time Monday to Friday during the day. I (Katie) am from NZ and my partner (Josh) is from the South Coast of NSW and we have decided to live in Melbourne after spending most of last year travelling through North and South America - Such a wicked experience We are hoping to be able to enjoy a social household without it being too out of control and hopefully get to know and befriend our prospective new housemates but we both do enjoy our own quiet time through the week as well and totally get others needs for the same. On weekends we will be trying to explore new places and get away as much as possible and when around home we will often be trying to enjoy Melbourne and it’s many awesome cafes, bars, gigs and basically anything else fun we can sink our teeth into. Feel free to message us if you have any questions or if you have an awesome place/room for us to check out :)
We are three travelling swedes who is looking for a place to stay. We are all responsible young adults but still fun and outgoing. We arrived a few days ago and are very new here in Australia. We would love to meet some new fun people. We're here on a working holiday visa so the duration of our stay i's not determined.
I am a 28 year old male from Canada but have moved here almost 5 years ago. I Feel like I have a good understanding of living with others as I have been living in house shares for the past 4 years. I am a full time barber in prahan at a barbershop called brother wolf and like to volunteer by using my craft. If you're interested in knowing more about myself you in that regard, you can check out "The Streets Barber" online or on Instagram and Facebook (using that name) I also have a small rescue pup who is very well trained, doesn't shed, and has a very good temperament. She is a Jack Russell/kelpie and is toilet trained. She comes to work with me daily as she's become the official mascot of the barbershop and I get in trouble with clients If I don't bring her in as she is dearly loved by everyone.
Hi there, Me and my partner are looking for a short-term accommodation from Feb 7th. For 1-2 weeks. We got apartment in the city where we`ll move into by the end of Feb. So we need a place where to stay just after we land. I am an ICT Product manager in the FinTech Industry, 30 yo, beach volleyball player, originally from Bulgaria, lived in Melbourne for 3 years, a permanent resident. I was back in Europe for a couple of months because of my work. Now we are coming back. Moises is a videographer, professional swimmer and runner. We are both keen on cooking, surfing, and we love nature. About us as flatmates, we are not party animals, just enjoying a dinner with friends, might grab a drink or so during the week, most likely we`ll be outside in weekends. We`ll be busy Mon-Fri furnishing the permanent apartment + job interviews. We got heaps of savings so paying the rent is not a problem. Here is my skype UserName: racheto_p; Linkedin: radoslava tosheva - product development manager - eMerchantpay. Give me a shout if u r interested and Feel free to text if you want to ask us something additional. We can ask a friend of ours who is currently in Melb to come grab a coffee with u as well as pay some money in advance. Let`s talk and organise it. We can Skype any time Mon-Fri after 5pm (AUS time) or 7-9am (AUS time). From my personal experience, I know how much different, easier, faster and more trust you gain when meeting your future tenants/flat/house mates face-to-face. However, we are very serious and responsible mature people and it will be highly appreciated if you can just give us a chance and talk to us and then decide. Let us know what time/date suits you best for a call? Thanks for reading! Regards, Radi & Moi
Easy going. Mature. Pick up after myself. Quiet and friendly. Likes to be social. Respectful of others and their space. Gym way more often than I go out, but definitely like my nights out occasionally. Ultimately just looking to get into a place closer to work as I work full time for Life fitness in Mulgrave so rent is guaranteed! Cheers The lease time on my account says one year or more, but dependant on your lease agreement I'm happy with short term or long term stay :)
Hey ! I'm Louise, I come from France, I'm 21 and will be studying in Melbourne for a semester starting from february. What I'm looking for : an international house share or Australian one with good vibes, ideally inhabited by young working/studying people (even if I can believe you're granny is the chillest). I can't wait for you to laugh about my cheese and wine obsession (maybe you will suffer from it too after meeting me, who knows!!). My passions in life are : - great and bad jokes - cooking - meeting people and share everything we don't have in common ! I love to gather around a good dinner, go on adventures and take care of you. I love a clean and tidy house but won't get on anyone's nerve if it is not your habit. (Desperately) Hope to hear from you soon
Ideally im looking for my own private bedroom/area with ensuite and enough room for a king size bed, would also look at a bugalow or granny flat anywhere as central to the city as possible. Prefered to live with only one other but would consider other options if the place was right, its a must that your cool, clean and cruise. Cheers Chris
Hey! My name is Natalia Smith, I'm 22 yo and Im a nutrition student from Mexico City, I enjoy meeting new people from around the world, Im into fitness & also like a lot to go out partying. P/S: Will listen to your sappy stories if (unfortunately) you get dumped or talk about how random life is til 4 am Hi! I'm currently living in Malaysia and will be moving to Melbourne for research in Unimelb. Arriving on 7th of February (or few days later) and my research will last 7 months, through August. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Heck, throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done a fair bit of backpacking alone so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Also get along with people pretty easily. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I like to keep things less intense. I'm absolutely fine with any location that is convenient and that I can easily travel to campus. Have lived days when I had to carry two tubs of ice cream and a big ol' turkey for an hour to get home. *Not* pleasant so will not allow history to repeat. Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine!
Hiya! I'm a 28 year old female with a well trained and very friendly 5yo cat- a medium coat white and tabby handsome character by the name of Dr. Watson. I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to take up uni and will work part or full time as necessary. (Previously a qualified veterinary nurse- have worked the past 4 years in insurance- escalations/disputes/assessing claims) I'm currently doing a month in Europe and will be back mid February..so I'm hoping to move in to Melbourne in March. I keep a clean house and I'm quite respectful of noise. I do like to drink and 'party' at times however this is rarely at home. If you are the kind to have people over regularly that is perfectly fine by me! (On a 'worknight' I'd appreciate some hush by 10.30 though) I'm hoping to have someone to hang out with, but also will respect your privacy (as I hope you will mine). I have a passion for music, philosophy(I'm s beginner but loving it!), animals, food (I'm vegan but not a wanker- you can eat meat!) and travel.
I'm a french girl, I obtained an internship at Aesop in Fitzroy from January to August ! it's my first time in Australia and I'm coming alone ! I will work a lot Monday to Friday and maybe at home sometimes on the week ends but I like to go out, to discover new things, to have drinks, to make some sports and to share nice moments with nice peoples each time that I can !! So I'm searching a room in an apartment with nice people in the center of Melbourne ! :)
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic and tidy and always clean the dishes after cooking (Such a legend)! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. I smoke from time to time and will obviously do it outside and away from anyone else ( will keep your personal airspace cancer free). I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along, hit me up!! Feel free to ask me any questions I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 15th of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a French Teacher here for a year on an exchange programme. I'm easy going, tidy, clean, always up for a glass, a chat, an evening out… I am a musician (I play the trumpet although haven’t brought my instrument so no worries about the noise!), love sports (running, have to start fitness again), cooking, baking, eating, chatting, discoveri, travelling...
Hey there future housemates. Im very easy going. Nothing bothers me much. I enjoy keeping busy and like to live in clean environments so not to clutter the mind. Im 31 and moved to Melbourne last july and work in a medical laboratory as a maxillo facial technician. I used to work in dental prostheics in perth before I moved to melbourne. I enjoy riding, snowboarding, gym, going to the beach and being out doors in general. I have a few hobbies which I've had to leave behind in perth, like brewing and tinkering with cars. I like beer and tend to be a social butterfly
Hey! I am moving to Melbourne from country WA. Im very easy going and friendly, and looking for a shared accommodation with 2 or more people. We are a very friendly, clean and reliable couple from Germany. We visit Australia for one year on a working holiday. We are still looking for a full time job and are often out of the house for work or to enjoy the nice city.
I'm a hard working 23 year old male. I keep to myself most of the time and don't mind a few drinks on the weekend! I'm a manager at the only 24/7 Bottle Shop in Australia on Chapel Street. I love to hang out with mates or play my beloved PS4 when ever I've got a day off. I like to keep a healthy balance between my work and social life.
Originally from London but in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. Tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) After spending 4 months in hostel dorms I'm looking forward to having somewhere I can make feel like home. I'm currently looking for work so can only commit to a maximum of 4 weeks at the moment, but hopefully I'll find work soon and then it could be anything up to 10 months (when my visa expires). If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. My moving in date is flexible. Thanks Yvonne
You could speak German with me, because I'm from Berlin. I like it to enjoy food and drink. I am good for visit a museum or the beach. I can be quite, but like good chats. In Germany I worked as a teacher in a kindergarten and finished my study last year. I can paint your face for an event. I stay only one month (March) in Melbourne for saying good bye to Friends and this beautiful city, than I fly back. In March I wanna volunteering maybe in a neighborhood house and will make good experiences. Important for me is a relexed room for enjoying the last days.
Hey everyone, I'm Andrew. Im a 22 year old completing my Honours year at Monash University Caulfield, and looking for a place to say in the area. Im moving to Melbourne from Ocean Grove, and hope to find some housemates that are clean, respectful but also happy to hang out on weekends. I enjoy travelling, cooking, keeping fit and aspire to find employment within the Banking and Finance sector at the conclusion of my degree. Please feel free to contact me as I'm eager to move before Uni starts. Cheers
We are a couple (aged 25 and 28) looking for an apartment or room to rent for few months up to 6 months or so. Offers for shorter time are welcome also right now. We might stay here for longer but we would prefer not to commit to a long lease right now. Argo is currently working full time (near St.Kilda) and I do photography and graphic design and I am looking for a job in the area. Argo likes gardening and has a B.Sc in Landscape Architecture. I studied Biology back home but lately, I have been more interested in photography and arts. I've done cleaning professionally and we like to keep clean. We are rather quiet but we are also happy to socialise and have a glass of wine on the weekends!
Hey there! My name is Elly and I'm a friendly, down to earth, (nearly) 26 year old looking to move closer to my workplace. I work full time and enjoy being social, having a cheeky drink and chat with housemates but also respect others' own/private space and appreciate my own as well when needed. I don't smoke but don't mind if others do, love pets but won't be bringing one of my own. There's about a 99% guarantee that I'll want to bombard you at some point with photos of my adorable family dog though. I do drive so somewhere with parking would be ace (happy to obtain a council permit). Hoping to find a place with a balanced, easy going and social bunch of rad housemates! I'm organised, tidy and pay bills on time. Move date is flexible. Looking forward to meeting you!
I am a 23 year old Norwegian/Australian currently working in the real estate industry in Bayside Melbourne. Consider myself an outgoing and relaxed person but also respectful of other people's privacy.
Hey guys! My name is Alanna I'm 24 years old and originally from Vancouver, Canada. I have been travelling around the past 15 or so months and was living in Margaret River, Western Australia for the past 6 months working in a vineyard. I am currently in Indonesia and am looking for a place in South Yarra/ Windsor area as of February 1. I'll be staying in Melbourne and working in hospitality for 2 months before I head off to travel New Zealand! Yewww! I am very friendly, kind, super easy going, and reliable to pay the rent on time. I love being around people but am also respectful of others space. I'm always down for cheeky drinks and am looking forward to exploring this city and seeing all it has to offer. I'm a lover of live music, stand-up comedy, and a nice glass of wine. 🍷 I plan to return to Melbourne so I'm looking to meet some cool people with good vibes. ✌🏽 My budget is around $200 a week and would prefer a place with a washing machine. Looking forward to hearing from you! 😁
I am Marco and I am living in Hamburg, Germany. I am working in Melbourne for 3 months. I usually work from 9-19 so I won't be at home during the day. After work, I like to play football, watch a movie to have a nice chat with my flatmates. As this is the first time for me here in Australia, I like to see as much as possible on the weekends. I am a very tidy and respectful guy who is always up for a nice conversation. But I also respect people who prefer to spend time alone. Cheers, Marco
We are a couple from the UK who have recently arrived in Melbourne after travelling Asia for the last 5 months. Clean & tidy, easy going and friendly. Both love listening to music and watching a good tv series/film. Happy to live with someone who has pets :).
We are always respectful about the place we live, we are searching for a good place not too far from the bars and restaurants because Nicolas is a cook and Mathieu and I are bartenders, we don't make party's at home, we prefer to hang out ;) !
Hello! I'm very excited to move to Melbourne! I'm a very friendly nerd who enjoys reading, board games, and cooking. I will probably spend most evenings out exploring the city. I would love housemates to explore restaurants, parks, bars, and events with; but am happy to go solo. My last sharehouse they called me "mom" because I was always cooking and cleaning, while making sure everyone was getting along and enjoying themselves. It was a great place to live, but I'm looking for a change of scenery and to experience all the Melbourne has to offer!
Male from London, new to Australia, I'm a rather social guy, pretty laid back and easy to live with. I can cook, and pull our weight with general household chores, generally prefer to live in a cleaner space. Will be looking to get a car also, mainly for sporadic trips here and there, should be a few empty seats for those who want to join. Currently job hunting, would prefer to secure a place to live so I can narrow my job search location. Looking to move into somewhere fairly quickly. Would be able to do so with a days notice. Ideally looking for somewhere between Frankston and the CBD with transport links in walking distance.
Im pretty easy going and down to earth, very work and study orientated and am pretty mature for my age. I come from New Zealand and moved out of home when I moved here just after I turned 16 and have been flatting/boarding ever since. I know I'm a bit young but I'm desperately in need for a new place to live in as I have to move out of the current house I'm in by March/April. Im also transgender just thought I'd put that out there because I know some people may have a problem with that. I'm very tidy and clean and am very good at cooking (perks of growing up with a chef for a step mum). I'm also about to study exercise and sports science full time at uni and I work part time at grilld (usually nights). My hobbies include going to the beach, bike riding, fishing, anything water related, writing, playing guitar and dance. I also like having my own space but can also be very social and im alway down to chat and chill out. I also turn 18 in may if that helps.
Im a Happy friendly person, i think i get along with most people pretty well. I like shared area to be kept clean or at the least usable ! Im working in hospo so tend to work a lot of evenings but not till too late, like 11pm ish. I enjoy a drink or two and going out but its not central to my life. Im trying to save money so im not a party hard girl but im deffo social. :) I will be away in NZ for 2 1/2 weeks in march so really im looking for longer term accom until may/june if i could sublet the room out for two weeks while im away ? Thanks!
Hey so I have just moved back from Queensland and looking to leave my parents place again. I work in the car industry so normally doing around 50-60 hours per week, very friendly but do like to have the night hidden away in my room, I'm a clean person and friendly but again a workaholic so not much of a party animal so not looking for a place that holds party's every weekend
To people i know, i'm that girl who is always happy and always laughing. I'm very outgoing and usually up for an adventure. I play basketball with some friends and work Monday - Friday. Although not as much anymore i do like to go out for a drink and catch up with friends every now and then. But usually on week nights i don't do a whole lot!I'm very close with my family as well. I am a tidy person and always clean up after myself, love to cook and bake. Overall i'd say i'm a pretty fun person to live with and minimal to no drama!
Hey there! I am a Canadian law student on exchange for one semester at Monash University. Looking for a place to stay that is both close/inbetween school and city life. Budget is a factor but not a deal breaker and am flexible. I am currently backpacking southeast asia while school is out for January. Open to pretty much any living arrangement because I respect peoples living space just as I would want mine to be respected. In Ottawa, Canada I am currently leasing a 6 person house in which I assume sole responsiblity for renting out to 5 of my friends. For 2 years now we have maintained a clean and cohesive living environment. My latest backpacking experiences have really opened my eyes to the culture of living on the move. The most exciting part is meeting new people and learning from people with an open mindset. I believe in a fine balance between partying and cleanliness. I prefer to party outside of my living environment but having a solid pre drink is always a good idea! These experiences I believe make me an adaptable, friendly and responsible flatmate! . Cheers.
Hi, I'm a full time hairdresser originally from Brisbane. I'm friendly, easy going, tidy, shy, respectful of others privacy, love to have fun, go on adventures and explore Melbourne. In my free time I like to relax, read, watch movies, play games and go to the gym. Hope to make lots of new friends :) Thank you! xx
Easy going, neat and tidy. Not a party animal, so minimal noise in house. Good with pets.
