Hi All, My name is Daniel, I am 21 years old. I will be studying at SCU for my Bachelors Degree in IT. I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a happy-go-lucky, glass-half-full type person. Clean, neat and independent. A lover of food, films, travel and having fun. Hoping to live with similar-aged people who enjoy dinner, wine, movies, chatting, travelling and all those good things. Although I am very sociable but I totally respect privacy and personal spaces. I also have a part time job, so will be pretty busy with that and studying however, I'm always up for hanging out. Give me a message if you think you'd like to live with me or want to chat! Very excited to meet some new people and experience all Melbourne has to offer! Thank You
I am a really clean and fun person! I like to cook or have a nice meal together! :-) I'm from Germany and lived in Byron the last 3 month! I like to go to markets or staying at home as well. :-) im a easy going girl and a good FlatMate ;-)
I've been in Melbourne for 2 months for work and will be back from January-April next year. I help charities use technology well, mostly building databases and helping implement good processes to support them. My work is based in Malvern, so looking for something within about 25 minutes by transit to there, but that is also not too far from the city and the areas where all the cool Melbourne acrobatics are happening. (I am a budding acrobat!) When I'm not trying to do better handstands, I can be found reading, gaming (modern tabletop games mostly, with a bit of RPG), and drinking fine Tasmanian whiskey. My job is pretty demanding, so I like a quiet home I can curl up in, although I prefer to live with housemates who like a friendly chat and low-key hangouts in the common places (rather than a place where we all just live around each other, passing like ships in the night). I am queer (bi) and poly--obviously we can sort out what's okay in terms of having people stay over occasionally (unlikely for such a short stay though, honestly), but if someone's like, philosophically committed to being an asshat about either of those things just in general, we'd probably both be a lot happier living with other people. Oh, and I cook! Will keep the kitchen tidy if I'm just cooking for me, but I am generally always willing to feed people if they're happy to do the dishes Coming back around 8 January and staying through April. Also, $300 is getting to the top of my budget--ideally looking for something in the $175-$275 range.
Hi I'm Adam, 27 enjoying a year long break from my career. I enjoy cooking and eating out and anything to do with food! I'm clean and tidy, I can't stand miserable moaners, I love to exercise and I try do that each day and I hope to see as much of Melbourne as I can inside of my year here! Hopefully, I can forge a sponsored career and stay beyond my 12 months. p.s. I'm the guy on the left :)
22 year old male from London, big fan of sport and music. Like a party but also enjoy chilling in and going to the gym. Moving to Melbourne around February time and looking to move in with some like minded people!
Hi future flatmates! I'm from the Netherlands and looking for a place to stay during my exchange at Monash University. I'm always up for a shared meal, a nice chat or a glass of wine. :)
We are really sociable, respectful and clean housemates that work hard. Both of us work full time - though Nick works from home/cafes around Melbourne, where I (Caroline) bartend/waitress at the Duke of Wellington. :) When we aren't off working long hours though, we also like to enjoy time with people during evenings and weekends. Possibly enjoy a good bottle of red and chill out to some good music.
I'm a working holiday visa holder from Shanghai, China. I was a fashion buyer before coming to Austrlia, love fasion, love music, love taking photographs and also free lifestyle. It's great to make more new friends and get to know Australia better during my stay. Hope to share house with you!
Easy going and friendly. Only around during the week, go home to my family on Friday evening for the weekend. A busy person, likes to keep the place nice, keeps fit and works hard. Must be close to the beach, private room with private shower/bath room.
I'm a 25 year old Aussie girl moving from Hamilton Island at the end on January. I've been working in hospitality and travelling on and off for a few years and keen to settle in Melbourne for a while. I'm doing a full time course for 9 weeks starting in February but am able to support myself financially and after that I will be looking for full time work. I'm super friendly and easy going. Love a good banter and a few wines but also like my own company and space. In my own time you'll find me hanging out with friends or at the beach (yes I'm aware I won't be in the tropics anymore haha) I love painting and I'm pretty crafty. I'm looking for the some like minded people. Anything else you would like to know swing me a message! 😊
Hi my names Reid I have recently moved from Brisbane to work in Melbourne. I'm great to live with because I am a very respectful and clean person. I also like to think I'm very friendly and communicative. The past 2 years I have been living in the Inner city of Brisbane paying 1000 dollars a month rent so I am very capable of paying my share. I also work full time.
Hey I'm Alex, I'm 24 and I'd like to apply for a new place with one or two other people. I'm pretty easy going, tidy, and respectful of space. I like to go out occasionally, I like keeping active, reading, cooking, and boxing. I have staffy, and she's house trained and well behaved. I'm currently studying a diploma in massage therapy and working. Ideally would like to find a place to share with someone open minded, similar to my age and working. I'm up for renting a unit or a house, or applying for a new place anywhere within an hour of travel to the city. I've got all household items, furniture, appliances etc, and unlimited internet. My budget is about $250 a week on my end. Thanks :)
We are two easy going girls who have traveled Australia since July. We have a lot of fun stories to tell and love to meet new people! Our dream is to stay in Melbourne for the next month and a bit to explore this wonderful city. We love good music, festivals, photography, arts and of course traveling! If you have a place for us to stay please contact us! Cheers Jana and Sarah
I am a very easy going person who loves to socialise. I'm from Salisbury in England and 20 yrs old. I like going out but prefer being somewhere a bit more chilled with a pint of beer. I'm currently working in hospitality however I won't have a job as soon as I move to Melbourne but currently still have a enough saved for a couple months rent. Would be fab to live with people who enjoy socialising together maybe even doing little trips together and making dinner together is always fun!
Me and my boyfriend Sam are currently looking for a place to live in Melbourne. We are looking in St Kilda, South Melbourne, Prahan, Windsor area but will consider other areas for the right home. We have a car so need a car parking space or on street parking. We are both From England and have been in Australia a year, we love it here and want to make Melbourne our permanent home. I am a hairdresser and Sam works for a demolition comany. We are very relaxed during the week but enjoy socialising and exploring Victoria at the weekends. We are both clean, considerate, quiet and used to living with other people. Please get in touch if you have a room! Thank you, Laura and Sam
20 year old from Scotland. I am very out-going, friendly and easy to get along with. I have been travelling Australia since August 2015 and been in Melbourne since December 2015. I am currently working full-time in the city and will be until i leave Melbourne (should be around June 2017 or hopefully longer). Enjoy the occasional night out at weekends and sociable drinks after work (sometimes). I also love meeting new people. I have lived in a few other house shares, so i am well trained at keeping the place clean and tidy and respecting that other people need their space and time alone too. Preferably looking for a private room.
Hello! We are a British couple in our early 20s who have recently moved to the Melbourne area to work full time. We are both clean and tidy people who enjoy socialising but also keeping to ourselves from time to time. Looking to rent a room in a house with other likeminded young professionals/ students :)
Hi there, I'm Annie and I've recently just moved back to Melbourne for summer. Working a full time job in Malvern. Really easy going and get on with anyone. Love a chilled environment but also like the occasional big night out and adventurous camping trip. I'm respectful and tidy and look for people the same in housemates. Love sun sea and sand and live music wherever I can see it with a cheeky festival thrown in there. If you want anymore information then give me a call and we can have a little chitchat Cheers Annie :)
I am very clean and quiet, my ideal friday night is on the couch with a packet of doritos and netflix. I work full time - monday to friday and have weekends off where I generally clean, read, go for walks and catch up on sleep. My partner comes down once every two months and will be staying with me. He is quiet and we respect our housemates. I am looking for mature people who I can get along with as this is a home :)
Hey! We're 2 best friends who have just moved to Melbourne after travelling Thailand and Bali. Both have working visas and are frantically looking for jobs so we can live comfortably and buy a whole new wardrobe to replace these awful travelling pants. Hoping to find epic people to share a place with, we bring smiles, laughter and occasional sarcasm :)
I am a very clean, reliable and conscientious housemate. i've had a great time in my current share house and love our housemate family time and cuddles as well as our private time and respecting each others work schedules with noise. I have travelled as an au pair and love childcare however i have been doing hospitality for years and find it easy to get any job doing that. grew up in Echuca, small country town with three brothers and a single mother so i'm very laid back about life and have that easy going nature. I think i'm a comedian as you do growing up with a house full of boys! Love a beer(or ten) and watching footy with the boys as much as a night out. am wanting to move sometime in january once my current hospitality job gets quiet as i want to be working full time hours or more and keeping busy..less time to waste money on beers the better haha.
Hi guys! Currently looking for a new house to call home! I work in the city in the day and at a bar 1 night a week! I'm social but love my quiet time! I hope you like a bottle of red or 2!
Hi girls ´n guys, I am a 22 years young german girl who is on a work & travel trip and from 2nd of january till 14th of february in Melbourne. I am an easy going and tidy person and always into some fun. I am searching a cosy room for myself with a kitchen and bathroom for share. I am open minded and uncomplicated for everything. Would be great to find some cool people out there ;) Cheers, Annette :)
I'm very friendly and love meeting new people! I live a very busy, sociable life so I'm barely even at home but when i am i love to just hang out and watch a movie. I work 3 jobs - day office job, retail, and night work at a bar. I'm very clean, love to have a good time, chatty and love making new friends! I have lived on my own for a while, in a share house for a while, so I'm, very used to living out of home independently with housemates. I also have a tiny little chihuahua (he doesn't bark and is not yappy, i wouldn't allow it) everyone who meets him falls in love, hes adorable friendly and very well behaved. I also take him to work most days with me so you wouldn't have to worry about him being there when I'm not! It is super important I would get along with my housemate, I don't just want a housemate I want a friend! :) xxxxx
I am a reasonably clean person. I am a person who can be approached easily. I consider myself open minded, so I'm sure I will not hold anything against you if that is what you believe in and stand for. Like any girl, I love shopping and food! I love the beach as well and I also try to stay fit by doing some sort of exercise. I am from Vanuatu, which is a country in the Pacific made up of a chain of small coastal Islands. I was born in Port-Vila, the capital. So, generally we all have really nice clean houses because it is a part of our upbringing. And when you go to other peoples houses to eat or something, you're usually expected to clean up without even being asked! This is a sign of appreciation and a way of saying thank you. I moved over to Australia in 2015 and it has been wonderful so far. I have learnt a lot of things just by living here, and i know that if i had not moved here I wouldn't have been able to learn the things I know now. I am currently in Brisbane but will be moving to Melbourne in less than two weeks. I want to experience Melbourne and see what it has to offer. I will be looking for work there asap! Please message me if you think I will be a suitable flatmate and you are happy to share a place with me, lets team up. Thanks :)
Hello I'm Ellen. I'm a 25 year-old American girl looking for somewhere fun to live during my year in Australia. I arrived 3 months ago to be an Au Pair for a lovely family in a suburb far from the city. I enjoy having a drink with friends as well as going on a hike by myself. I am a very tidy person so all communal space will be free of any messes from me. I love cooking so I wouldn't mind sharing that with whoever I live with. I hope I am a great fit for your house!

We're a young professional couple with two dogs. We're looking for someone who's interested in saving money or getting debt free to help us do the same and the long term team/friendship that comes with it. We have good taste in music, food and people, but I guess everyone thinks that they do... We moved to Melbourne in October and want to team up to get a nice place as close to the city as possible for the best price possible - with a yard for the dogs (Tell him he's dreamin'). Steve: A Canadian Engineer working in Southbank and master of the meme, Steve's pretty stereotypical Canada in a lot of ways. He's an outdoorsman and fly-fisherman that does engineering as a necessity to fund his addiction to chasing fish. Also an aspiring ninja that hasn't reconciled the fact that his luminary childhood dreams of world domination will most likely never come to fruition. Sometimes prone to write SJW stuff online. Mic: Mic is an Australian that works in retail management for a national chocolatier. She's keen on live music, animals (her Facebook feed is literally about 75% raccoons, dogs and otters), a major foodie and Beatles fan. If you don't understand or empathise with the plight of women in the modern world, swipe left - or whatever you do on Flatmates... Mana and Mocha: Mana is a 4 year old brindle staffy X who has mastered the art of the guilt trip. Having easily the most expressive dog's face you'll ever see, she likes to lounge around or run around or do anything fun really. Her favourite place to be is snuggled with someone - or the park, or... y'know what? She just likes to be Mana, wherever that is. She does fart a bit, though. Mocha is a 4 year old tan kelpie with OCD. Whilst waiting for her food or begging for yours, she can be easily fooled into chasing a ball instead, which can then be used to your advantage to eat in peace or get her to go outside, etc. She's a snuggle magnet with a turkey neck. Great for winters in front of Netflix, but sometimes she gives you this really judgmental look, like "What are you doing with your life? Stop watching Mad Men and go outside for a bit." *Disclaimer* Not to be political, but we're left leaning tolerant people that don't subscribe to bullshit norms and get pissed off by cruelty to animals, which means that you can complain to us about your problems and get support to chase your dreams, but we won't clean up your shit or entertain revisionist bullshit that puts Tony Abbott on a pedestal. Hate isn't welcome in our lives. If you don't genuinely like dogs, it won't work - guaranteed. Oh, and Sunday morning is for homemade pancakes. It's a ritual. Sometimes I'll make crepes instead of pancakes, but it's usually pancakes with homemade mascarpone and some sort of fruit or chocolate sauce we've made. I can always make more to feed the house.
24 year old backpacker from London loving Australia so far, trying to save up for my next mission but hostel life is killing my bank account!! I've lived away from home since I was 17 and have lived with tonnes of different types of people so I've gotten pretty good at keeping a great vibe between housemates. Massively into music, I DJ and produce music on my computer (I've got headphones so I won't wake anyone up). Work full time but like to get out and do stuff as much as possible. Ex-smoker but i'm cool living with smokers. Give me a shout if you want to hang out!
Hello, im 20 currently studying Psychology at ACU. Im looking to move in with females only that do not smoke.
Hi! We are a group of girls who met in Sydney and have become great friends. We've moved to Melbourne to settle for a few months and would ideally just love to unpack our stuff after living in hostels for 3 months! We range from 21 years of age to 23, and come from England and Northern Ireland. We're all very friendly with great senses of humour and enjoy the odd alcohol beverage, but we also love to stay in and chill out. We can all cook and take pride in being neat and tidy, and are also very respectful of each other and those around us. If you would like to know more, please don't hesitate to ask! Hope to hear from you soon, Samantha, Courtney and Carol

Im someone who will give great advice if you ever ask for it, im a bit of an introverted extrovert, there will be times where you will see me dancing around the house having the time of my life then there may be times wHere ill keep to myself and you wont see me for two days. Fantastic Cleaner. Not such a great cook when it comes to dinner but breakfast and desert i can handle. im not interested in living in an apartment, so please no messages for anything without a backyard located on ground floor! Since we are Scottish, we do enjoy consuming alcohol. We like to meet new people and have fun. We also enjoy duvet days in front of the tv with some pizza! We are respectful and clean people. We're looking for 2 furnished bedrooms within walking distance of Acland St.
20 year old female, working full time in retail at Chadstone. Looking to move closer to work (I currently travel 1h 45min), but still staying close by the city/outer suburbs. I'm tidy and organised. Looking for somewhere where I can be friends/have a laugh/drink with flat mates, but also be allowed to have my own downtime.

Kayla and I have both complete the HSC and are hoping to move to Melbourne to study. I will be having a GAP year to work full time, but Kayla will be studying all through 2017. We are supported by Centrelink. We both enjoy a good read, Kayla is vegan, I'm a vegetarian attempting to go vegan, but we're non-judgemental over what others eat. We're good at keeping our room tidy and can help out in anyway needed.
My boyfriend and I are from the UK on working holiday visas and are both working full time. My boyfriend is a musician (guitar/vocals) and I am an English teacher. We are both friendly and sociable but also respect peoples privacy. We both like cooking so would be more than happy to cook for our housemates from time to time and share some wine/beer! We enjoy checking out the local music scene as well as all of the events that the city has to offer and would appreciate tips on where to visit. And if you have a cat- bonus!!!
