Hiiiii, I am Bec I’m about to move to Melbourne from Brisbane so looking for a place with good vibes, good people, good food and good chats. I work full time so would prefer a quieter place during the week but always up for drinks/hangs/adventures/gigs on the weekends. I’d like a social house where Tuesday wines and Sunday coffee can be a thing and everyone is friends. I am familiar with the usual sharehouse drill of respecting others personal space, limits and belongings. I won’t come with any house furniture, although I can offer a few house plant bubs that I can't bare to leave behind. Happy to pitch in or purchase household items when I arrive in Melbourne though if need be. Pretty flexible with dates and such. Let me know if you think I’d suit your home - look forward to hearing from you!
Hi my name is Sophie. I work full time as a Digital Marketing Specialist. I'm a very social person, love having a drink and a boogie with my mates, going to festivals, meeting new people and travelling :) I'm looking for people who would enjoy watching movies/tv shows together in the lounge, or having a good old chat after work. On weekends, most of the time I'd be catching up with mates. Or if i'm not socialising, i'd be chilling out watching movies. Some days I might just want to chill by myself in my room - doesn't mean I'm grumpy, just a little tuckered out ;) Although I am an extrovert, I am very respectful and would always let you do you!
I am a positive person who like to chat but is also very considerate of other's space. I am considerate of cleaning up after myself, and will do my fair share of household work and maintenance. Bill will be paid on time. Most of all i am keen to maintain a good vibe within the house/ place to keep the good times going :)
I'm a chef by trade and like to cook family dinner (I still don't know how to cook for one) I am a very clean and organized person and am often out of the house so you won't find me lounging on the couch all day. I've lived in a lot of different situations and get on well with all different people. I'm from Boston in the US, been in Melbourne since January and will be in Australia for at least another year, but I'm working on getting PR. Let's have a beer!
Hi my name is Chantelle and my boyfriends name is Shaun. We are both 20 year olds working full time. I am studying online also to become a vertinary nurse. We are both very active people, we both play basketball and netball and Shaun also plays cricket. We are both very tidy individuals, who will split house work to keep the house clean.
Im 23, originally from South East Suburbs of Melbourne. I have been away for the past 2 years in Cairns and NZ - im a scuba dive instructor and love all things water. I have come back to Melbourne for a few months to work and save before i take off again in november. So Im looking for a short term stay. Currently I am working in Docklands in an office so Monday to Friday daily grind. Weekends are my weekends so and I am quiet sociable, I love a good chat and drinks here or there at a local pub. I love adventuring, the sea, the snow and any type of activity. Can also be known to have a netflix binge night in from time to time. I'm clean and tidy and can make some mean choc chip cookies. Looking for flat mates on similar page. Hit me up if I seem like the right fit.
20 year old, country town gal (NSW), studying Marketing/Graphic Design at ACU. I am managing bookstore (which I love) with almost full-time hours, and when I am not at uni/work there is a good chance I am trying to teak a breather at home. I am not looking for a party house (or someone who smokes bc I have been blessed with the lungs of a fish out of water). So if this is you/your home, I wish you the best but it's a no from me today. I enjoy reading, art and graphic design - and of course a good Netflix binge when feelin' a little stressed. Love a good laugh and coffee (probably too much). Just looking for someone who cleans without having to be 'asked' and isn't a reflection of my last roomies *cries*. I've had fairly horrible experiences in the past with bad roommates, so if you know you are that person please cut all ties with me now! I would appreciate someone who cleans up their shiz, respects their space. If you've read this far and I haven't scared you off, send me a message! I swear I am not an annoying person, just sick of people who don't/won't do their part and make living in Melbourne hell for me 💕
- international student, a honkie 😉 (2 more years study or maybe longer) - laid back, open-minded, - clean, house-trained, - like pets and animals - qualified remedial massage therapist, study to be aromatherapist and myotherapist - started some hobbies: dance, guitar, hola hooping (beginner level😆) Yoohoo....
Hey there, 36 year old. Originally from the UK (But now an Aussie Citizen!). Already lived in Melbourne for 4 years, then a short stint in Darwin NT then spent the last 12 months working and living in Abu dhabi. I've always classed Melbs my home. I'm an ICU nurse consultant at Alfred Hospital. About me. I'm a gay guy.....Not everyone's cup of tea which is why i'm sticking it on here. No point in living with someone who doesn't approve I work hard and play hard....Enjoy my crossfit. Boom! Keeps me semi sane. Don't really drink a lot these days Also like chilled times in with a movie and cooking healthy food. Cheers
Hi, I'm very laid back, clean & tidy, and easy to live with. I work a standard 9-5 job and enjoy having a good time on the weekends. I'm also big into sport so if you are too we'll get along!
We are very laid back, quiet, clean and respectful. Non smokers. We are both from England, Joe is working as a traffic control and Sam in hospitality. We plan to stay in Melbourne and work for a long time so would be great to find somewhere suitable for this.
After 5 years, my current lease has ended. My parents live in St. Kilda and my sister live in Brighton. I am looking for a place nearby to live. I work in non-profit and government sector. I am house trained and have been living on my own since 18 years old. I am matured and considerated, friendly but also understand other's privacy. I have full house furnitures, so if anyone wants to share a new property with me, I am happy to.
I'm a 30yo guy looking for some awesome, friendly flatmates to live with long term. I work as a chef, without the chef hours, so no late nights and more cooking for you! (Favourite thing to cook? Tacos)... I'd love to find a place thats chilled out, mature, clean and has a half decent kitchen ;) I'm a social introvert, i love meaningful, engaging conversations with people, over wine or tea but need to maintain a balance between having fun and relaxing with a movie, book or meditating..i don't really watch TV but Im pretty easy going. If there's ever any wind i'll be down in St. Kilda kitesurfing and I'm also taking up pottery classes on Sunday. I have a broken banjo that i don't play, and I've also stopped going to salsa classes, but i could definitely be persuaded to start doing both. I'd be looking to find a room for a queen sized bed, but other than that i don't have much else I'm afraid as I've been away travelling for a few years.....just a few indoor plants and a taco press....for making our own tacos...obviously. I sometimes wee in the shower and I'll use up all your bowls and tea towels when i cook, but i hold my values of honesty and reliability highly. Typical INTP if that matters. Look forward to meeting you!
My friend and I are both very chilled, friendly and have travelled a lot over the last few years so always love to meet new people. I (Hugh) am from the UK, and Ashton is from New Zealand. We both like live music, travel, going to the beach, sitting back with a few beers and having good conversations. Also enjoy the gym, yoga, and getting out into nature.
Currently just moved to Melbourne as I have just accepted a new full-time job within the events industry. I have been living in Currumbin on the GoldCoast loving the coastal lifestyle of work, fitness and surfing. I am looking to move in with likeminded people who work hard during the week and don't mind to have a drink on the weekend. I have found accommodation until the 17th of June but need to find something more permanent. I will be new to Melbourne but very excited for what is ahead. Cheers, Lachie
Looking for awesome housie to share with St Kilda area only. Relocating back after 10 years in Sunshine Coast-Queensland. I'm a qualified Naturopath working part time on this. I also work part time in the city as marketing assistant to keep me out of trouble ;). I'm into sustainable living, yoga and meditation. I love cooking and nurturing through food. I'm artistic, caring, thoughtful, social, enthusiastic and easy going. I have a wicked sense of humour ;) Even though my full on party days are behind me I like a little boogie now and then and still go out to gigs and pubs from time to time. Love a good laugh, a chat and a shared meal from time to time. Looking forward to sharing a home-Short or long term if it works out well. I have a 12 year old dog ridgeback/kelpie/labrador. She is medium sized, who is gentle and beautiful company. She gets on well with other dogs too. Also have a 7 year old son. He sleeps at his dads most nights for stability and for his own room. We have found this is the happiest arrangement for all. The split was amicable. We get along fine. My son stays with me one night a week. He is fine in my room. So I'm looking st kilda so walking distance to his school for simplicity If that all sounds awesome then I would love to hear from you!! 😊
