I am a 24 y/o post grad physiotherapy student studying at UQ. I am a friendly, easy-going, active, tidy, organised and reliable person. I am moving to Brisbane from a little rural town so hoping to find some welcoming (female) room mates living in secure accommodation near UQ.
Hi! The names David, though I do cycle though a variety of nicknames! I’m hoping to be studying a degree in Education next year, and thought to put myself up here nice and early, since I’m so excited! Most important things first, I have two cats, and their names are Griffin and Spencer, and they’re my whole world. I’m looking to find some people who would be okay with the cats being an Important member of the household, and who wouldn’t mind their personalities! I’m LGBTQ+ (This means I’m not cis and I’m not straight), and quite proud of the fact! I’m genderqueer (this site only gives me options for male or female) and go by he/him. It’d be really cool to room with people like me! I don’t smoke, but I’m always up for a few drinks. I’m looking for a person, or few people, who want to hang out, and become friends. I’m an avid cook, and love trying new things! So I’m happy to cook most nights, and if you’ve got a request, I’ll be happy to give it a go! I’m mostly a clean person, but when I’m stressed I’m kinda all over the place! I love to stay up late and game with my friends, a lot of which aren’t in Australia, so I’m a night owl! I’d prefer to not share rooms, and I’d love to have enough space to fit my consoles, and a queen bed! A yard would be a huge bonus, I’m a green thumb at heart and love gardening, and I’d love to get a dog next year! I love watching movies, and if you’re really interested, but need a bit more money in the pool, I’m sure I can work something out to pay a bit more! I’m honestly looking for somewhere near either UQ or QUT, which are my preferred universities. Close to a bus stop is preferable, but these things can be worked around! Aircon is a must, and a nice kitchen is also a H U G E bonus.
I am looking for a room to move into in February 2019 in St Lucia close to UQ, where I will start studying advanced finance and economics. I currently live in Cairns. I would like a furnished room with a bed and desk at least, and either a shared bathroom or ensuite. I am clean, tidy and easy-going. I am not picky about who I move in with but would love to meet some other uni students around my age! :) When I'm not studying, in my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, watching Netflix, reading and hanging out with friends.
Hi my name is Maddie. I will be studying at UQ at the beginning of the year. I am from the States and really want to meet some people. I am a Chemical Engineering student who is always down for a good adventure and likes to go out on the weekend. During the week I mainly keep to myself and study, but like to binge watch a good show on Netflix or chill outside with good music. I am very easy going and extroverted and can't wait to be in Brisbane.
What makes me great to live with? I listen to musicals through headphones. Full-time Master's student at UQ, part-time office worker. Clean, tidy, and respectful. I can move immediately and am flexible on lease length: 3-9 months is good. I'm solid gold set on somewhere with a double bed and a pool. Flexible on everything else.
We are a newly married couple from Canada. We are Christian. We are super friendly, quiet, and clean. I will be searching for full time work once we arrive while my wife attends Med school at UQ.
Tara is a senior studying Animal Sciences and Johnathan is a student studying Occupational Health. We are excited to travel Australia and study in town. We are neat, introverted, studious people. You can count on us to be tidy, quiet, and responsible. We do not need much, just internet for studying, a TV for netflix, and a place to sleep. We would really prefer A/C and for the apartment to have an oven. Thank you!
Hey, I'm Alisha. I'm about to start my semester at UQ starting February next year so I'm looking for a place to stay. I’m a pretty clean person so I’ll definitely help if you need some cleaning. Although, I would prefer roommates that at least can decently clean up after themselves. I’m social but not to the point where I disturb your peace. And if you’re having a bad day and need anyone to talk to I’m all ears :)
Hey there!, -I am respectful, clean and very chilled! -I am a full-time student -Rent will always be on time -I am looking for preferably something with BILLS & WIFI included in the price and under 330$ a -week -I am looking for somewhere close to the city or in the city -I am looking to make friends as I don't have many due to i am moving from Adelaide to Brisbane recently. I will respect privacy but I'd like to be able to socialise and have fun with my housemates! If you have any questions that you would like to ask please feel free! Looking forward to hearing from you, Django
Hey there!! I'm looking for a room to rent in 2019 in either January or February (I dont mind too much im flexible). I am also open to team ups with other people in finding a house that has multiple bedrooms and splitting the rent. I am a first time solo mover as I'm going to be moving directly out of home, which is quite taunting but also extremely exciting for me. So... I'm definitely looking to meet new people :) I tend to get along with new people well but I am pretty introverted so I will be shy at first, but trust me as you get to know me you'll get to know my dark sense of humor. I'm LGBTQ+ and don't mind sharing a house with couples or anything like that. I will be going to UQ in 2019 to study a bachelor of science (with a major in physics particularly astrophysics/astronomy) so I'll try not nerd out too much haha. I consider myself a tidy person as I like to organize and move things around when I'm stressed so you will be living with a clean room mate! As i mentioned before I am quite introverted so you won't have to worry about me being too loud or partying a lot, and I do appreciate my personal space and will definitely respect yours. But in saying that I hope to make some life long friends that i live with. I do have a cat, his name is Lychee and he's two years old. He currently lives with my 6 year old Labrador and although he likes to be cheeky sometimes they get along fine. I'd love to bring him with me if i could, but if it doesn't work out that's ok too because i can leave him at home. But if you allow pets it will be a huge bonus for me!! If you have any questions just chuck me a message, Sky :)
Hey all, I'm just looking for a room to rent around mid-April next year (2019). I'll be studying at UQ next year for my degree as well as working part time so I'll be here and there you know. If all things go to plan might stay for the duration of my degree. I'm currently in Year 12 and will be moving from Cairns down to Brissy next year for Uni. I'm really not too fussed with who I stay with, couples, LGBTQ+, whatever works, I really don't mind at all. I'd be down for team-ups, more than two roommates etc. I'm just keen as to meet a bunch of people who I can eventually call my lifelong friends. I guess I'd call myself a really open, outgoing dude so I'm really easy to talk to but I also 100% respect privacy etc. I'd definitely call myself pretty tidy, keeping my things in order, so I won't be too hard to live with. That's about it, if y'all have any further questions feel free to chuck us a message. Cheers :))
Hi! I'm a full time student at UQ studying Occupational Therapy, and looking for place to live in from November through to next year. I am quite easy going, tidy and always up for a good chat, but also considerate in respecting other people's privacy. When I'm not working at my part time job or studying, I love exploring around Brisbane, listening to music, watching movies and baking. *Looking for places only in St Lucia, Toowong, Indooroopilly, Taringa, Chapel Hill and will be needing car space/street parking
To start, I am from Ontario, Canada, and I love adventure! I am travelling to Brisbane to pursue my passion as an OT at UQ. I enjoy exploring and I am always looking for somewhere new to visit and people to meet! I am a social, considerate, and tidy person to live with and I am very easy going. You can find me watching the latest TV series that I must binge, or outside enjoying a bevvy, some delicious food, good music & the sun.
Hi I'm Jono. I'm 23 years old and working full time. Looking to team up. I'm an outgoing person who loves going out every week, on my down time I play video games and basketball. I'm looking for somewhere closer to work for me, and also close to the city. I'm a clean person, and never leave things lying around.
Hi there! I'm a full-time uni student at UQ just looking for somewhere to stay for the duration of my degree. I'm friendly but I like to keep to myself. I study at uni a lot so I'm rarely home during the day and on many occasions I study into the night as well. I always clean up after myself and I'd like to say I'm pleasant to live with :)
I'm a first year UQ student who is easy going, quiet and tidy. I am social but do enjoy my times of privacy. Looking for housemates that are respectful and also willing to have a talk and a laugh. I am certainly an animal lover and have a 7 year old Koolie named Rus so I will happily move into a household with pets. Cannot wait to hear back from you!
i am a domesticated and educated professional. i have also been socialised. so you can anticipate that i will say hello, i will be respectful of you, i will cook and clean up after myself, i will contribute to the household, and i will maintain good personal hygiene. i enjoy the great outdoors, so a garden is a bonus, as is parks and waterways in the vicinity.
