Hey guys! I'm an Italian girl of 30yo, I've already spent almost two years in Sydney and I'm going to be there for one more year, that's why I need a place I can call home, with a positive vibe. 🙂 At the moment I'm in Italy (I had to take a break from Australia if I didn't want to be killed by my family!), but I'll be back the 7th of July. I'm trying to organise some inspection in advance on the same weekend (8-9 July) so that I can move asap. About me I can say that I am a shiatsu therapist and waitress, peaceful, clean, respectful but also keen to share a glass of wine, a beer (also two) in good company and to cook some Italian dish for few friends. I'm not a party animal (even if I'd like to find housemates to hang out with sometimes), I'm vegeterian (not the kind of person who would start being annoying about that ;) ), music, animals and green lover! I'm looking for a single room with a double bed for not more than 250$ pw (bills included or part of them). If you want more information about me, feel free to contact me. Cheers Maria 🙂
I've been working full time for a NGO in the city for 1,5 years and currently looking for a long-term accommodation (up to 1 year) close to city. (A bright and sunny room is preferred). I'm very quiet, clean and considerate and want to share apartment/ house with someone who is quiet, clean and respectful as well. I'm quite busy with work and often go hiking with friends during weekend so when i get home i just want to have a relaxing and super quiet environment to rest. But it doesn't mean i don't like some chat or hanging out together sometimes. If you like to share with someone who always pays rent on time, is quiet and reliable then please drop me a line. P/s: If you have a private room to rent out in Surry Hill, Paddington, Ultimo, Chippendale, Surry Hill, Darlinghurst then my budget is up to $280/week.
Hi there, I'm looking for a private furnished room in the inner city suburbs. Dates: Mid July — Mid Nov 2017 (dates are flexible). I'll be travelling Dec-Feb but will be looking to rent again from late Feb — June 2018, whether at the same place or another (so happy to help find a temporary housemate if you'd like). About me: I'm a 23yr old female, currently studying my Masters of Clinical Psychology. I'm undergoing my training as a clinical psychologist, so i'll be busy with placements/uni weekdays 9-6. I'm looking for a home to come back to in the evenings where I can cook a nice meal (though I love a good take-out) and get some R&R. On weekends, I like a mix of quiet time (can't live without chocolate and Netflix) and exploring Sydney with friends. My parents live in Sydney so on some weekends i'll dissapear to visit them and might bring back some home-cooked curries to share. What i'm like to live with: Clean, organized, and easygoing. Also a non-smoker and non-partier. Ideally, i'd like to become friends with my new housemates, but I also completely respect your need for space. What i'm looking for: -Private, furnished room -Close to the city (max 20mins to Central station) -Max 3 people sharing 1 bathroom If you have something that fits, please don't hesitate to contact me!
Taking the leap from Perth to Sydney! 25yo engineer looking for a place close to work around St Peters. I'm hoping to move in by the 26th August. I'd consider myself to be pretty laid back, loves a laugh and some good banter. Always keen for a kick of a footy or shooting some hoops. Cheers!
Super chilled person with a super cute Bichon Frise (cute little fluffy dog). Always up for a chat, but not really up to party :) I work 8:30am till about 6pm Monday - Saturday as an EA as well as manage a cafe. Weekends are all about taking my dog out to the park! I also have a car so a place that offers some kind of parking is a necessity :)
Tidy, social yet quiet during the week due to work and study obligations. I am looking for a place that is quiet and not a party house and one that is close to transport.
Hey Guys! I'm Raphael, 25 and work full time as a Senior Finance recruitment consultant. I work long hours during the week but enjoy hanging out and doing activities (beach, cafes, restaurants, music gigs & etc.) on the weekends. I also enjoy those low key relaxing type weekends. I'm looking for easy going people that keep their home clean and tidy, enjoy their own personal space but who are also keen to hang out and socialize. I'm quite flexible in terms of location, as long as there's a train station close by.
Hey I'm Josh, I've applied for a job in Sydney (Mascot) that I have a fair chance of being successful with. I'm gauging interest for people who'd like to live with me (28/m) and a little French Bulldog (Charlie/5). I love Basketball, Stand Up Comedy, table tennis and being from Queensland. I also love a beer or two and would like to live with people that also love to hang out and have a drink. I can also respect the right to alone time and privacy. I havent got a set date that I'd be moving down (will update when I find out) but If I seem like someone you'd like to be around shoot me a message :) Cheers
Hi there! My name is Ren and together with my boyfriend, Bastian, looking for a wonderful cozy place to call home. We have just recently moved from Greece here and can't wait to discover more of this place. We are super mindful, clean, and get along really well with new people. We are looking for a place to call home for a couple months here in Sydney to see how we both fit in to this new place. We both love to cook, exercise, and be in nature. I am a dancer/artist from the States and love to make lots of yummy food and treats. I will be working full time as a waitress and be doing also some volunteer work but still have time for fun. Bastian is from Germany and is looking to be working with start ups, social entrepreneurship's, and some outdoor work. He is quiet, funny, and a bookworm. For fun we like to go out and explore and meet new people ( sometimes over a good glass of wine :) ), hiking, going to the beach, and hanging out watching a movie with some good food. We love animals so totally pet friendly. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I'm a 36 y.o. originally from Sydney (I grew up in Randwick) but have just returned after a long stint living and working in the UK. My Scottish girlfriend will be joining me here soon and we need a 1 BEDROOM flat (NOT A FLAT SHARE) to stay for approx. 6 months from the end of July/early August. We are both easy going, low key and tidy non-smoking people with no pets. If you think there may be a fit, please let me know when suits best for a viewing. Damien and Pam
Hi Folks Quiet Irish boy seeks room in northern suburbs of Sydney. A little about me.... 34 and Irish born, work full time as a Electrician which is usually city based, very active and train most days of the week, so very rarely round the house. Quiet and sometimes like to keep to myself but also like to be sociable with my housemates. Love to travel and when the weather is good il be at the beach. Tidy and well able to help out with house work when the time comes. Looking for a place with a relaxed environment and preferably with the same working routine. If anything else please don't hesitate to ask. Ken.
Hi all, am currently employed full time on the WestConnex Tunnel project and am seeking suitable accomadation near St Peters and adjoining suburbs. My roster is rather demanding with 7, 12-13 days, 3 off followed by 7, 12-13 hour nights 4 off. Despite the long hours I still try and endure several activities to maintain my strength and fitness including gym, muay thai, circuit traing and basically anything that gets the heart going. Im very clean and tidy and am well able to pick up after myself. As a housemate you may see me once in a blue moon as my routine is rather demanding time wise. On my days off I generally relax and am more often then not enjoying the many culinary delights Sydney has to offer. I enjoy interaction with my fellow housemates and am definately no introvert but have the uptmost respect for they're space and privacy. I am down to earth and love a good laugh, even if its usually at myself. Please dont hesitate to contact me for any further information via email and with suitable listings. Cheers
Hi All, I am looking to move closer to the city for a change in lifestyle and proximity to work. I am fun, friendly and flexible. I work full time in the tv industry and about to start marrying people on the weekends! I come with pretty much an entire apartment worth of furniture and hope not to have to put everything in storage. I've lived in a range of share houses in London and Melbourne and continue to maintain many of those friendships to this day. I am very social and like to go to events, restaurants, festivals, bars, the AFL etc but I am also very keen to binge watch TV. I am really good at that. I am looking for flatmates that are social like me but respectful of personal space and house proud. If you have a flatmate moving out and taking a lot of stuff, get in touch with me and let's see if I can help to fill the space! Cheers.
Hi there! I am a European, from Spain. I am a student who work, as a Spanish and Catalan teacher, and study very hard in this amazing country but I love hanging out with my flatmates and friends when I have free time. What am I doing here? I'm looking for a miracle! As I said I am a teacher and I need a single room, not very small, cause I need enough space to put all my material, tools, toys and others (sounds horrible but I don't have too many things). Why did I say I was looking for a miracle? I said that cause I work but with my student visa I can't work more than 20h so I need a single room which cost, maximum, 250 with bills included. Where would I like to find this miracle? I'm open mind so I would be available to move around the city (Glebe, Ultimo, Stanmore, Ashfield, Erskinville, St. Peters, Sydenham, Marrickville, Rozelle, Balmain or another place where I could feel like if I was at home) So if you want an active, talkative, tidy, clean - and I'll stop cause this list could be so long - I am for you. Don't hesitate to message me of you think you are my miracle! Cheers!!
I'm a 27 Year old girl looking for a place to call home around the inner west so I can be nice and close to my siblings and all that the inner west has to offer, ideally look anytime from September onwards. I am very clean, tidy and considerate of others. I enjoy cooking and I like to keep fit and do dancing a few nights during the week and weekends. I also enjoy nice furnishings/ decor! I have a great sense of humour and am very light hearted and easy going. My party animal days are over.. but I do enjoy a good wine or beer. I come as a package with a gorgeous friendly dog named Chester and an easy going cat Ruby, so ideally need somewhere with a good courtyard, some cover & a little patch of grass if possible! My pets are very important to me, I will do everything to look after them but you can have free pats/ cuddles. I work in television and do 12 hour days 3-4 times a week, I will usually take Chester the dog with me for the day as he likes to get babysat at my parents place, I occasionally stay there a couple of nights a week as well so may need someone who would be happy to occasionally feed Ruby the cat if they are around. I'm really keen on finding someone who loves animals and understands them and wouldn't mind sharing the couch with them now & then. Would love to meet up with anyone who may think we could make a nice household! Laura :)
I work in a migration law firm in the city and am passionate about human rights but I'm still a typical mid twenties gal and am keen to make friends with my new housemates. I love netflix and going on little hikes and adventures around Sydney. I've just finished my degree in social science.
I have lived in Sydney for 28 years. I am a "physically small", easy-going, kind and considerate person. I weight approx. 55Kg and my height is 164cm. I would almost consider myself as a "Metrosexual Male". I am a non-alcoholic, I don't drink or smoke but I don't mind having flatmates who do. I am a vegetarian except for fish (I am happy to live with non-vegetarian flatmates). I live a "less sociable" lifestyle and it is very unlikely that I will intefere with other people's private/social life. However I would love to have some friends to have a chat with, and go out shopping at the supermarkets every so often. I am very respectful of other's privacy and belongings. To prove that I have a good rental history of paying rent on time, I have kept all the rent payment invoices from my (Licenced) Real Estate Agent over the past 9 months. At the moment my weekly budget for rent is $250-$280/wk. Due to unforeseeable circumstances, I put down my preferred length of stay as 6 months, but I want a place that I can stay at for 1 year or more. I will consider paying more than $280/wk, even though it is outside my comfort zone. If you send me a message via the website, please be prepared to wait until the evening for a reply (since I cannot get to a PC during business hours.) Also I do no logon to the flatmates website frequently due to a busy lifestyle. Thank you for your understanding. Cheers.
My name is Susan, Vietnamese-Australian, 25, recently finished university, and am currently working full-time at an intellectual property law firm in the Sydney CBD. I am neat and friendly, and open to meeting and socialising with new people. I am shortly moving out of an Enmore house that I shared with 1 other person. I previously spent 9 months in the years 2015 and 2016 as an exchange student in Reykjavík, Iceland where I lived in a student dormitory with shared kitchen and toilet facilities. I also spent 3 months of a European summer travelling through Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, and the UK while staying in crowded hostels. These experiences have made me a very open-minded, considerate, and outgoing person. I'm happy to learn more about you and your place :)
Hey flatmates, Flo and I are about to move to Sydney from Tasmania having completed our farmwork (yay!) We're easy going and like to keep things tidy, and respectful of any house rules and understand that everyone needs their own space, although we're always up for a chat over a cup of tea or at the local pub. If you have any questions about us just send a message
