Always up for a chat with people. Work part time while putting myself through uni, getting closer to completing my Bachelor of Marine and Antarctic Science. Originally a mainlander but keen to make Hobart home. I'm looking for a room in a share house to lower my cost of living, and be able to enjoy life a bit more. I'm a believer that it's the people that make a home, not the walls and roof. Recently my ex has decided they no longer want our two dogs and I've agreed to take them on, so I'm looking for a place where my two 7yo maltese x shitzu and I could make a home. They are house trained, and also used to being outside when no-one is home. They aren't terrors likely to ruin furniture etc.
Hi, I am Jackie, a postgraduate from the uni and I have a job in a Resort. I am looking for a place for long-term stay, preferable the Clarence area in Hobart. I am easy-going and reliable. In my leisure time, I like hiking, reading or having a coffee with friends. I am not a party animal, so I'd like to find a place which is relative quiet and neat, but I will be very happy to enjoy some wine and cheese with the housemates or watching movie together. Please contact me if you have a room up for rent. Cheers!
I’m a quiet student that keeps to myself, although I do love a good dance around and some entertaining banter. I’m also slightly coffee addicted. I am an online student studying a diploma in business and I run a small art business, I receive Centrelink payments as my main income. I do have a cat, her name is Avocato. She is trained and is an indoor cat, she tends to only go outside when she is on a harness and lead. Both myself and my cat do come with rental references. I’m 18 years old but I have been fully independent and living out of home since I was 15 due to a family situation. Because of this I am more mature than expected, I don’t really party or anything like that either. I’d love to hear from you, Jenna
I’m easygoing, work full time with government, exercise regularly (karate), love music and laughing and relaxing at home with nice food. Tea drinker +. Cats are life. Looking for a chilled person to share a house with in Hobart area. I’m kind of introverted but do like a bit of interaction as well.
Hello everyone, I am Sunny, pursuing my Doctoral studies in Law at UTAS. I am looking for long term accommodation for at least 6 months or more in Sandy bay or near by suburbs. Me and my wife are currently living in temporary accommodation in Battery point and looking for long term accommodation. We are respectful of others space and belongings. We are an outgoing, friendly couple and also love cooking food. We are very clean and organized. I am happy to pay bond and rent in advance upfront. Please feel free to contact me if you need any other info. Thanks.
Moving to the area from Canberra and I'm so excited to explore! I'm moving to study Environmental Sciences! I love music, reading and a solid nature documentary. I'm really chill and don't stir a fuss however love a nice little chat while I make a cuppa or two. I grew up with three brothers so I learned to be very flexible and patient but still keep tidy. I've been house sitting most of the last year and am more than happy to provide references. Just a girl who wants some nice flatmates really :)
I’m originally from Western Australia. I moved to Hobart in February 2019 for a contract with government. I have been lucky enough to land in a fabulous share house in Blackmans Bay. Sadly, the owner is selling her home and moving back to Canada. Now that I'm here and more familiar with Hobart, I am looking around North Hobart, South Hobart West Hobart, Glebe, Lenah Valley, New Town, Battery Point or Taroona simply because it seems to be closer to the things I enjoy. Also, living closer to town will allow me to either walk or ride to work. For me I am looking for a place that I can stay for a minimum of 6-12 months, from the end of July or early August. I’m friendly, mature but easy going. I keep myself busy swimming, walking, and doing the odd gym session.
I’m a student at the university of tas looking for accomodation somewhere close by the uni with a nice group of people. I’m quiet, studious, clean and will always do my share. I’m an introvert, but agreeable and friendly and always happy for a chat or to be a shoulder to lean on, and I can be the one to take the spider outside
My girlfriend of 3 years and I are looking for shared accommodation and to create a humble abode. We relish in meeting new like-minded people. We are not party animals, but we do enjoy hanging out with friends for social drinks and game nights. We are both avid cooks, who love getting involved in the kitchen with a willingness to share and learn new recipes. We also know how important it is to keep a clean and tidy household in order to prevent conflict and promote well-being, which is something we have practiced in all of the houses we have lived in thus far. I have just finished a bachelor's degree in environmental science on the north coast of NSW, and will be starting a master's in planning at UTAS. I thoroughly enjoy being outdoors and hiking, kayaking and fishing. I also love taking it easy by watching films, reading books and chatting about philosophical ideas and sharing the human experience. I think you will find that I easily mold into my surroundings and practice open and clear communication. Cello is currently studying a Bachelor of art and design degree, and will be transferring over to UTAS to finish it off. Cello is a open and creative minded person who is always willing to having a conversation and participate in housemate activities. She takes great pride in cooking for others and sharing her recipes passed down by her Spanish ancestors. We are willing to both occupy a room together, but are also open to having a room each if that is more appropriate. Our current plan is to find a place around late July/early August.
