Hello, my name is Stian Christopher, and I am a part Norwegian - part Australian landscape architect student, who's just started studying at UWA in Perth on an exchange course. With three years experience from living in shared acommodations, I am easy going, easy to get along with and like it tidy and clean. I am an active person who likes to take part in sports and workout, aswell as being social and going out with friends. I am looking for shared accomodation, preferably with fellow students close to the University campus.
Hi I am a 25 year old woman from Denmark. I am studying for a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Psychology at Copenhagen Business School, but I am now beginning a semester at UWA. Therefore, I am looking for a room in Perth from now until the end of November. I have always preferred to live together with other people, but I also like to take time for myself sometimes. I have lived in Copenhagen for some years, but before that I lived in England and Norway for a while. I am very tidy and a non-smoker. As a person, I am very social and I like to spend time with friends and family as well as meeting new people and exploring new countries and cultures. I spend a lot of time doing sports – in Denmark mostly badminton and running. Here in Australia I am looking forward to trying out some of the many outdoor sports. I have just arrived in Perth, so I would like to come by and see the room as soon as possible. Best regards Line Thøgersen
26 year old Swedish guy that just arrived in Australia. I'm an easygoing exchange student at UWA and looking for a place to live in for at least this semester, maybe longer. I am looking for a shared house within easy reach of the UWA. I take my studies seriously but I also like to have fun so I would preferably like a house with at least some social atmosphere. I will enjoy hanging out, sharing some beers and going to the beach sometimes etc. Back in Sweden I have lived three years at a student accommodation with shared kitchen so I am used to live in a shared household, and I really enjoyed it. I am responsible and I like it clean.
Hi all I’m Alex and I’m an easy-going, friendly, chilled 31 year old human. I’m a former high school teacher, now working full-time in Subi in a job that pays the bills without the stress… I’m looking to move into a new place in late September / early October. I’m happy to move into an existing place or team-up with someone for a new lease. Min 6 months - longer term. My budget is around $200-250ish a week. I can furnish my own room. I have kitchen gear, plus I can bring a fridge, 2 x sweet couches, and TV cabinet if need be. Preference is for my own bathroom. I’m looking for a place that’s either close to the beach or within 20-30 mins drive. I especially like city beach and scarbs, so any suburbs in that general area are a win. As I work in Subi I’d be keen to stay within about 20-30 mins drive of there as well. So any of those inner-city suburbs will work. A place with a backyard would be ideal as I’d love to grow some food (or even just herbs would be a plus). When I’m not working I like to practice yoga, walk/jog in nature (parks, lakes, ovals etc), swim at the beach (in summer…), hang out with my mates on the weekends: going to live music gigs, kicking the footy around, couple of drinks, that kind of thing. I am a clean and social housemate: I’m into cooking (and cleaning after), chilling, watching movies (I don’t really watch any TV… besides GOT). I like the occasional drink but don’t party like the old days very often. And I do take time to myself to read, write, stretch and meditate as well. Please get in touch if you reckon we are a fit. I’m more than happy to meet up and chat.
Hi all, My partner, Kent, and I are both very creative, quiet, open-minded, and mature people. We're also notoriously tidy. Kent works as a professor at Curtin Uni and part-time surf instructor. I am from Canada and currently a student and working in child care. We are both vegetarian, non-smokers and non-drinkers (mostly). We're generally very busy so just need a place to crash at night and chill out in :) We like yoga, reading, surfing, cooking, travelling, etc. We have lived in a few share house environments and appreciate an open communication and understanding. We want to get along and be in a positive environment and just respect everyone and their ways of living - hopefully combining those ways of living! Cheers x
I’m an international student from the UK doing my study year abroad at UWA. I’m pretty laid back and would prefer to live with other students. I also enjoy going out and I'm looking forward to experiencing Australia.
I am a Psychology and Languages student at the University of Western Australia, who works in a cafe as a barista. I’m fresh back in Perth after spending a semester abroad in Freiburg (southern Germany), and thus am in need of a room (from August 15th or later)! I have loads of experience living in share houses having lived in one in North Perth from 2012-2015 and then two others in West Perth since then. As a housemate I like to have a nice rapport and socialise over a cup of tea or a glass of wine, but also keep to myself when I have a big essay to write for uni or an exhausting day at work. I think it’s really important to have open communication in the house, with as little drama as possible and keep a positive energy amongst each other. I like to keep my spaces tidy, and I love to get together to cook food every now and then if that’s something you’d be interested in! I am currently looking for something between three to four months only. Currently I plan to move to the Netherlands before New Years Eve because my partner lives there- so until the beginning to mid December would suit, however there is a possibility that I might stay longer (by a month or so) Looking forward to hearing from you! :)
I am a Brazilian student looking for a beautiful, positive, and quiet place to live during my stay in Perth. I am going to study at UWA as part of my PhD in Physical Education. I am a social, hardworker, and easygoing person. I hope that I will have a good time in Australia.
Hi, My name is Karoliina Kuusisto, a 25-year-old Finnish girl currently conducting my Master’s in International Marketing and Management at Copenhagen Business School. I will study as an exchange student in UWA for one semester. Briefly as a person, I am outgoing, social and internationally-oriented. I love living in different countries, getting to know different cultures and meeting new people. On the other hand, I also care for my grades, so school work is important for me to balance my social life. I am a non-smoker, responsible and very tidy person. As a hobby, I like going to the gym as well as exploring all the cafes and brunch places in Perth ;) I am a big ice hockey fan and have myself played it for 15 years. I also enjoy having some wine and hanging out with friends. Finally, I love traveling and have moved around to different countries most of my adulthood. I am hence also used to living in shared housing and like it a lot. It is nice sometimes to cook and spend time together but I also like to have time to myself. I am already in Perth so I would love to come by to see the room and meet you in person. :) Best, Karoliina
My name is Ida, I am a 24 year old girl from Denmark and I’m doing an exchange semester at UWA. I’m doing my bachelor degree in organisational communication and back home I study at the Copenhagen Business School. I am looking for a place to stay during my exchange and I think that your place sounds really nice! I am a very tidy person and a non-smoker. I don’t party much but I enjoy a glass of wine with a nice meal. I have lived in shared accommodation before and I love the company, but I also respect a closed door as I understand the importance of privacy. Besides my studies I love singing, and sing in a choir back home in Copenhagen.
I'm an incoming international student at UWA from Montreal and i'll be staying in Perth for the length of the semester before traveling a little bit. I came to UWA to study marine biology and i'm doing a research internship in that particular field so i'll be spending quite a lot of time at uni. I'm a very easy going and laid back person who's eager to meet new people and see what it is like to live the Australian way.
Hello everyone!! Lottie and I are both 20 and from the UK (study abroad students from Brighton). Neither of us got into university accommodation at UWA and are looking for a nice flat to stay in until at least the end of November. We arrive on thursday the 13th of July and are staying in the billabong backpackers hostel until the 24th of july. Ideally the place would be walking distance to the uni or a short public transport journey. Preferably we'd like two separate beds in a furnished house. We are both very friendly and chilled out people - we are easy going but also respectful! Looking for fun people to live with - who are happy to show us some cool places in Perth!
I am a postgrad student at Notre Dame in freo and also working as an analyst. Between the two, I am usually quite busy! During the week, I am running around between work, uni, gym and the occasional catch ups with friends. I like having a bit more balance during the weekends, and when I am not buried with study, I certainly don't mind a wine or two :) coastal runs, cook ups and being out and about in general, etc. I have done my fair share of shared housing so definitely know the drill when it comes to bills, cleanliness, etc. I am friendly, active and social; whilst I would love to live with like minded people that I can occasionally share a meal or drink with ( in fact...finding the right people makes all the difference), I can also respect your space. My lease is not up until mid august, at which time I will be ready to move asap, possibly earlier if I've found a great household to be a part of :)
Easy going guy, love my Fitness,Surfing, beach. My Pet Dog "Bear" a 3yr old Chocolate Groodle is very clean and doesn't loose hair.I am Dual Trades Qualified(Tradie) and have my own Handyman Maintenance Business, extremely tidy and respectful person :)
I HAVE TWO INDOOR ONLY BURMESE CATS. Looking to find one or two others to either move in to an exsisting place or find a place together. I have two indoor only burmese cats who are amazing cats and friendly but need to stay indoors so am looking for others who love cats and are appreciative of this. I work full time in CBD. Not long been in Perth as recently moved over from QLD. So would be nice to live with friendly outgoing people who dont mind going out together every now and then. I am very down to earth and easy going. Clean tidy and respectful of others. I like to drink every so often and like to get outdoors and do things. Sorry I cannot live with smokers as the fumes just about kill me. Looking at sharing with people AROUND MY AGE, looking for a home not a revolving share house/backpackers. Thanks, Linda :)
I'm from Switzerland and coming over to Perth for one semester to study at UWA. I like to spend my time outside, doing some hiking or SUP. I'm interested in having a chat and some drinks now a then.
