Hello Everyone, My name is Steven, and I’m moving to Perth in two weeks. I am a postgrad student from University of Edinburgh that will be working with the ARC Center of Excellence for Coral Studies for three months. I plan to stay from May 9th to August 9th. And so I am looking for a place to stay in Perth. I will spend much of my time reading or working in the lab at UWA. I'm friendly with everyone. Laid back. I am no partier, and I keep myself and my surroundings clean and organized. I don't smoke or partake in drugs. I'm also LGBT friendly of course. Let me know what you think! Hobbies: Anything outdoors, I like hang gliding, hiking, being on the water, scuba diving, etc Would trying new foods and wine be a hobby? I'm about that too. Cheers, Steven Carrion
Student of English, Sports and French at UWA. I'm an open-minded, creative, friendly, respectful, person who loves the outdoors, fun events/ activities/ trips, music, coffee and good food. (My mother tongue is German.) Generally open for any kind of accommodation type.
Hello everyone! My boyfriend, Thomas, and I are looking for a place to live in Perth. I think that our best selling point is our story! So here it goes: Thomas and I met at Sziget festival (in Budapest) 1.5 years ago. I fell for his dark eyes, very thick French accent (you'll see!), his humor and his smile. I have no idea what he saw in me, but it might have something to do with the fact that I walked in a bikini all day. Or it might have something to do with my Dutch accent, who knows. Yes yes, we're originally from France and The Netherlands and have been doing the long distance thing ever since we met. Australia is an opportunity for us to be together for more than 2 days a month. Thomas will be studying and working and I'll be working (preferably in my field of work, deaf education). We absolutely love dogs (and cheese)! And unfortunately, my allergies (and hatred, sorry) make it impossible for me to live with cats. Thomas pretty much loves all animals, and humans for that matter. We're both people-people and like to be surrounded by them. We're arriving the 1st of August and we're planning to stay for at least 6 months and possibly even more than a year. This all depends on how it goes with Thomas' study, our job search and on how awesome Perth is. As long as it's affordable, we don't care whether we share a house or live by ourselves. We do prefer a private bathroom if possible. The area isn't that important either as long as it's not too far from the city center and in a safe neighborhood. If you have something for us, or you'd like to team up, please contact us :).
Hi, I'm Nicole :) I'm looking for a share-house somewhere in the Subi area. I am currently doing my PhD at PMH and would like to live a bit closer to work. I'm a pretty laid-back, easygoing person. Enjoy having a chat and getting out and about but also just like my downtime too. I'm pretty busy during the week and on the weekend like to spend time being active or just having chill out time. I love travel, music, food, books, movies, beach, sport...the list goes on. Would like to find a house that feels like a home. It would also be nice to find a housemate/s that are happy to hang out now and again but I do respect other people's need for space too. I'm a considerate person and like to keep things neat and tidy about the house.
Hi, I work full-time and also dance 6 nights a week, most weekends are spent down south so I wont be around much. Perfect if you want to share a place but also want time to yourself. My budget is up to $200 a week including bills, I don't need internet and I also have my own room furniture. I'm quite easy going and friendly and respect other peoples space. I keep clean and tidy. I have a healthy lifestyle, looking for a quiet place. Close to a train station.
I am an incoming postdoctoral researcher at the UWA. I am arriving in Perth on May 2017. I am looking for a room to rent in a shared apartment. I am a quiet person, easy going and with a wide past experience in sharing apartments with other people. I look for a nice place where to stay and new people to meet. That's why I think that sharing an apartment may help to have a easier start. I love sports, drawing, playing music, books, the sea, hiking and people to share all this with!
If you're after a roomie that can cook, clean, iron and look after themselves...look no further. Can either keep to myself or get amongst what is going on. Not a party animal. Do spend weekends studying. Enjoy getting out for fitness. Looking for a room that is unfurnished. Preference is to live with one other person.
20 year old British student at Cardiff uni coming over to do a placement based in UWA building as part of my zoology degree!! Looking for somewhere to live with other students whilst I'm here!! (Sept 2017 - June 2018) :)
Hello! I am beginning my undergraduate studies at UWA this coming July 2017. Its my first time to Perth and I'm looking to explore this beautiful pearl of a city! I'm looking for accommodation whilst completing my degree at UWA. I'm also looking to learn more about Australian culture and making international friends. Asian, open-minded, comfortable around animals and loves sushi!
As a married couple we are staying a shared flat at Subiaco. But the flat will be in renovation so we are looking for a furnished place for 5 weeks between 22nd of May to 26th of June. Ensuite bathroom is a big plus. But we can live without it. We are friendly, tidy and quite people. Happy to meet new people.
I'm coming to study at UWA for a year from Bristol uni in the UK, and looking for other students to live (and possibly travel during the summer) with! This will be my 3rd year of uni, I'm very chilled to live with and love socialising, so somewhere easy to get into the city for nights out, work etc and not too far to cycle into UWA would be ideal! Looking for flat/house shares from mid July, until about June.
Hi there, I am looking for a place with someone nice. I work a lot (6 days a week) so I am not home for the most part but when I am I'm fairly quiet. At home I like to be able to relax. I also like cooking up new things when the mood strikes. I like cooking healthy food and experimenting with new dishes along with my friend in the kitchen (my thermomix) If you have a dog or any pets that is a bonus to me as I love animals, especially dogs. I would be more than happy to look after them if you are going away. I am quite social and enjoy meeting new people and catching up with my friends. I have an active social life so I'm quite often out socialising and dancing on the weekends. I like to keep my space neat and tidy and have a respect for other people, their space and their things. I have my own bed and bedroom furniture so ideally i would like a place with an empty room. I was hoping to get a place with some storage as well. I am looking forward finding my new home to settle into and meeting new people.
Hi! I'm a 21 year old Norwegian biology student, looking for accommodation for my exchange semester at UWA in Perth. I would like to live close to UWA with other students. I'm a pretty relaxed and social person, easy to live with, into good music, travelling and knitting. Looking to live with and get to know other students
My name is Erin, I am a 27 year old Occupational Therapist who recently moved back to Perth after a regional stint working in Queensland. I am house proud, and love to come home to a place that feels like home and a place to retreat. I am health conscious, active and outdoorsy. I enjoy practicing yoga and preparing fresh food and cooking. I am a beach baby and when not out with friends, working or exercising I will likely be relaxing at home with a book or pottering in the kitchen. I have excellent rental references, and continue to remain good friends with all of my prior housemates (of whom have been numerous and varied in character!)
I'm a very relaxed Australian guy originally from Geraldton, who likes spending my time with friends. I work in a university and usually get home around 5pm most days. I don't smoke and like my place to be a welcoming place for guests and also for me and those I live with. In other words, a clean and tidy place with character and a homely feel. I lived in Japan for 7 years so I've lived with a lot of different people in share houses over the years I was there.
Easy going, tidy and very quiet. I work fulltime in West Perth and I'm looking for somewhere much closer to work. I am a photographer (not my regular job).
I'm a student and I'm just finishing up the last bit of my mater's degree in speech-language pathology here in Canada. I will be coming to Perth in June on an exchange to finish my degree. I will be working at the Autism Association Western Australia for 3 months and I'm looking for somewhere to stay while I am in Perth. A bit more a bout me: I love cooking, travel, dogs (mine will be staying home in Canada), hiking, and tea.
Brazilian student, 31 years old, clean and tidy person, respectful, non smoking. Looking for my own room.
I'm currently working full time as a PA but starting a new job in the next few weeks and looking to shorten my commute into Claremont. I love my food, both cooking and eating out, the odd game of thrones binge, gin and tonics and the gym just to balance all that out.
Hi! I work full time in the city during the week and in my spare time I go to the gym, love watching a movie or two and run my own little small business! I come with a cat who is very chilled, loves a cuddle and is probably more like a dog. As you will learn I love food and in particular cheese and will always have an abundance to share so would love some housemates who enjoy a bit of company over dinner or dessert!
I am a german postdoc research fellow at UWA (humanities), coming to Perth for four months. Sociable, tidy and open-minded - always happy to share a little chat and a glass of wine but will also respect your privacy.
