I'm easy to get along with & I like honest communication between one another. Clean and genuinely concerned about other peoples well being.
Hiya!! I've recently moved to Melbourne for work and am looking for a place for a minimum of 3 months while I get to know the city and find my feet here! I'm planning on being here long term and if the flat works out I'd definitely be open to staying longer. I work as an Account Manager for a technology company and love my job, I work usual hours (sometimes longer depending on my workload), Mon-Fri and am pretty quiet during the week although I am enjoying all of the delicious food spots that Melbourne has to offer. In the weekends I am enjoying exploring Melbourne, catching up with friends, brunching, lunching, shopping and I love the beach when the warm weather hits. I'm pretty chilled but am a bit of a clean freak and a very courteous flatmate. I'm always down for a good chat and sharing a meal and a glass of red with the flatties but also have a mutual respect for own space. I'm looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, and I'm an animal lover if you have a furry addition to the house. Given I've not long arrived I don't have any furniture yet so would be awesome if the room has some furniture but not the end of the world either. Ideally, it would be great to be near public transport while I find my way around!! If you have any questions or the perfect room get in touch:)
Hello potential housemates/house owners. Sarah and I (Talea) are moving to Melbourne next year as we are both starting jobs with the same company. We both studied at university in Brisbane and are excited to make the move down. We do not know each other very well as we have just teamed up to move together. We are hoping to find someone else to move into a house/apartment with us in Melbourne. Being near a train station is a must, we will be working in Docklands not far from Southern Cross Station so easy access to that is a priority. Also, we would prefer to have a non-smoker. We would both like to get a place that is less than $300 per week each, including all bills (e.g. internet, power, etc.) Other than that, read a bit about us below. My name is Talea, I am 20 and about to finish my degree is Business. I have spent the last few years living in house sharing accommodations so living with new and different people is not new to me. I really like sports and I am an avid rugby fan. Upon moving to Melbourne, I am hoping to get a cat so I that you would be okay with having one around the place. I am pretty easy going and like to have a laugh watching TV and movies. I also like getting out and about, especially playing sports and I hope to explore Melbourne a lot more when I get there. Also, I have a boyfriend of 3 year who unfortunately can't make the move with me but will be visiting often so you will get to meet him too. I enjoy spending time with others but I like to have space and alone time too so I won't be in your face. I hope to hear from you. I’m Sarah, I’m 23 and starting a job like Talea. For hobbies I like doing crafty things like knitting, sometimes arty things, I also like to read and bake. I’d say travel is my favourite but it’s not something I can do all the time, but I can still try new things here. I want to go explore Melbourne, and see what it has to offer, maybe do some hiking and stuff like that. For exercise I need a friend or to do social sports because I’m so bad at self-motivating. So, I’ll probably join some team or course. My current dream is to grow some plants without killing them, probably succulents because I’m a realist. I like to be friends with my housemates and I’m still really good friends with a few past housemates, but I’m an introvert at heart so you don’t have to worry about me suffocating you with always wanting to hang out. I’ve lived in different share house situations for about 5 years now, I know how to keep a place clean and split duties. So I’d like someone who is keen to hangout and have a chat at times, washes their dishes and won’t shame me for eating raw cookie dough.
Hi I'm Rhys. I work full time in Port Melbourne as a graphic designer. I am also a professional runner and spend much of my spare time (mostly week nights straight after work) either at training or the gym. I am also an illustrator and have heaps of great art (and nice furniture) that I can bring with me. I'm gentle natured, totally sorted, clean, easy to get a long with and fully respect other people's privacy. I'd make a great housemate :)
Hi there, I'm a 22 year old hard working professional in Port Melbourne. I love to socialise with friends but also thoroughly enjoy my own space. I am currently living by myself in Frankston and am looking to move to the inner city in January; the daily commute is killing me! I come with useless facts, good banter and an overall positive outlook on life. Please message me if you'd be interested in getting to know more. Cheers, Hannah
Hey, Jack and I are new to Melbourne, moved here from Brisbane! I'm a very social person, love to have drinks and BBQs and work at a restaurant along Southgate. Jack is a builder, so he is out pretty early, super clean and quiet. Would love to meet some new people as well as have a place to live.
My name is Connor, I’m a 21 year old Australian male currently living in an apartment in Southbank with my girlfriend Shania. I’m a full time student at the Australian Institute of Personal Trainers (AIPT), completing certificates III and IV in fitness. I am employed by a labour hire company so as well as being a full time student, I’m also a casual worker. Shania is a 20 year old Australian female, currently studying a bachelors of primary education at the Australian Christian College (ACI). as well as working a part time job back in our home town, Shepparton. We both try and get back there as much as we can. Shania and I would be an awesome couple to live with because of our very clean and tidy lifestyles. We take pride in our things and are also very considerate. Looking forward to hearing from you 😊
Scottish girl just moved to Melbourne (NZ citizen so no visa worries!) - I love food and cooking, and hiking / just generally being outdoors. Looking for somewhere to call home! I'm an Event Manager, and also a voluntary Penguin Guide :)
Hey flatmates i’m From Brighton, England. I’m easy going and chilled out. Enjoy meeting new people and hearing there story. Currently working in Abbotsford and remotely from UK. Good vibes only.
24, nutrition fanatic / human bio nerd, i love coffee, i'm an avid gym biddie, and love exploring outdoors, I'm also a massive bookworm, the rock for president 2020 (sorry yeezy), i love to cook, work full time, super clean, super normal, no need for stranger danger here
I am a full-time uni student studying mathematics and I work part-time in a cafe. My hobbies include karate, running, listening to music, YouTube, Netflix and having a good time with friends. I like to make awful puns and meet new people. I am respectful of other's people's space and I don't make much mess. I am also quite relaxed chilled out and I know how to have fun. If I sound like someone you want to live with, please hit me up :)
Down to earth, friendly, family oriented country gal. I have OCD tendencies so will keep the place looking super schmick (haha). I work full time in HR and like to think of myself as a fairly easy going person. I like to make my home a safe and warm environment and am hopeful to become friends with my roomies. I am a respectful housemate who loves a good chat and of course a netflix/movie sesh. I also appreciate privacy and some solo down time. I enjoy a glass of wine every now and then but I mostly spend my time brunching with my friends and being active. Annoyingly I am one of those poor souls who is intolerant to a number of foods but you'll still see me finding clever ways to trick my stomach into thinking Chocolate is a vegetable (haha).
Hey! I am just about to graduate from Deakin University Burwood and I'd love to move closer to the city before I commence my practical legal training. I am a really social person, but also respective of peoples space. I consider myself to be tidy, positive and have a great sense of humour. I also have lots of interests like chilling out, football, politics, and socialising. I hope to find a room in a share house with cool people. Looking at places to move to now. Please let me know if you might have a room available! Cheers.
A shfit worker, so sometimes i work weird hours and have a weird sleeping pattern. Non smoker, friendly but independent. I just came back from a long holiday (5months +) and at the moment I am crashing at my uncle and aunt's place. I'm looking for an unfurnished room, as I have my bed, etc locked up in a storage, ideally 7km from CBD. I will also need a car park as I have a car (off street parking is fine). It would be great to find a place to call home. Minimum stay would be 6 months but I would like to stay longer if everything goes well. I've shared places so many times. I always pay rent and bills on time, clean after my mess in the common areas. I am considerate and always respecting other people's personal space however if the time sycnced, I'll be up to hang out over some drinks or food or movies or even going for a road trip. I like to keep myself active by eithter going to gym, bike ride or beach when the weather is nice. But there are times when i just sleep all day on my day off, recovering from working weird hours. Feel free to msg me if you have a spare room or feel like teaming up to find a 2-3bedroom apartment together. Arianna
My partner and I are looking for somewhere to live now that we have returned home after 2 years in Canada. We are looking for our own place in the following areas: Southbank, South Melbourne, Docklands, Port Melbourne, Melbourne CBD, West Melbourne etc. We are interested in hearing about short term and long term rentals as we just need somewhere to live whilst we get back into the swing of things - getting jobs, catching up with friends and family etc. etc. We are looking for something that we can move in to ASAP.
University of Melbourne student. Looking for a shared apartment or studio in south Yarra, Collingwood, Toorak, St Kilda, Brighton, Elwood, Caulfield, Elsternwick, Prahran, Williamstown and surrounding areas. I am usually out at work or study for most of the day, so won't be a problem for potential flatmate(s). Never missed a payment in the past. I cook most my meals and train regularly, so your potential flatmate is a healthy bloke. Interested in teaming up too, just shoot a message to discuss possibilities. Move in immediately.
Hi boyz! I’m Antonio, an Italian guy on his second year visa with the plan of leaving Australia in February for starting the university in Europe. I’m pretty laid back and clean. I enjoy having a few beers and have a chat with new people. Usually in the spare time I like skating and outdoor activities in general. Regards
Express of Interest - December 2017 Hi people! I'm Natalia, 32 yrs old from Chile, and I'm looking for my next "definitive" place to stay for at least 6 months, or maybe more. I'm a mature and easygoing girl, working in administration, super clean and tidy (sometimes too much, lol), responsible and respectful, looking for a place where I feel "at home". I enjoy watching movies, having a glass of wine and a nice dinner, but also really appreciate the quietness during week nights. I'm looking to have my own furnished room, hopefully with own bathroom, but don't mind to share it with one or two more. Not more than 3 ppl living in the apartment, I'm escaping from a 6ppl house! I'm willing to pay $200 per week or max $250 (bills included). I'm chilled and like music, I like going out for drinks or dancing, sometimes have a couple of girl friends over for wine but never too loud, and love a good chat. If your looking for someone like me, send me a msg! Thanks! :)
I’m 28. I work as a project manager. I’m super clean/easy going/ chilled like what everyone else on this site says but I REALLY AM! I like a laugh. I love coffee and food and going out. I don’t watch tv really. I work out here and there. I’m basically just looking for a clean modern place close to work, ideally with my own bathroom. I’m the ideal housemate! 😊 I come with a waffle maker!
Hey future flatmates! I'm a 29-year-old PR/Marketer, working full time in Port Melbourne. I'm neat, tidy and respectful of peoples privacy. I'm quiet and conscientious and am looking to live with like-minded professionals - I'm not looking for a party house. I like to cook, listen to music and occasionally binge on Netflix (if you like Suits and Designated Survivor, we'll get along great!) I am in hard-core money saving mode right now, so do spend a lot of time at home, but I'm a freelance writer, so I mostly keep to myself. I do like to get social on the weekends - and would love to find housemates I can enjoy a glass of vino with on a friday/saturday night. I'm hoping to find a place that includes bills in the price, but for the right location I'm willing to compromise. If you think I'd be a good fit for your household, shoot me a message and let's take it from there!
Hi, I am from Argentina, this is my second year in Australia and I love to live here, meet new people and places. I am living with some friends in st Kilda, but I need to find a place for my last 6 weeks in Melbourne, ideally a private room. I love to do sports, be outside enjoying the day but I also love watching movies and series! I am easygoing, tidy and respectful person.
I am a friendly and caring 26 year old female professional moving from Sydney to Melbourne for a new job in the edutech sector around the 4th of November. I taught as a high school teacher for three years, and am currently working in an education not for profit. Although I will be out of the house often for work and play, I am seeking a friendly environment where I can relax after work, interact with housemate/s, and have some down time. I enjoy cooking so am seeking a place where occasional meals with friends and housemate/s is the norm. I have a good rental record lasting 4 years. During this time I have always kept my spaces clean and tidy, and equally contributed to the upkeep of communal areas. The perfect space for me would be within a 5 to 30 minute commute to my new work address in Fitzroy with one or two fellow housemates. I am also open to alternative arrangements. I’m in Melbourne this coming weekend (21st and 22nd October 2017) and keen to meet up with potential housemates. Please let me know if you are interested in applying for a place together or have a room that needs filling?
