Hello, I'm a Melbourne boy that loves his footy and works full-time as an electrician. I'm a laid back, easy going person that loves to socialize as much as possible. I value my privacy and will be totally respectful of yours. I'm a clean and tidy person and have a lot of furniture I can provide for a team-up option. I'm currently house sharing at the moment but the lease is due to expire at the end of April. If the right match pops up I am happy to move a few weeks early. I have a company car with a lot of tools so I'm looking for somewhere with reasonably secure parking. Looking at doing a bit of traveling at the end of this year/beginning of next so a 6-12 month lease would be ideal. If you'd like to know more feel free to send me a message.
I am 27yrs old, have just come back from travelling for 18 months, originally from Gippsland and looking to settle in Melbourne for a while. I'm very easy going, social but also like having me time, love the outdoors, enjoy finding new cafes and bars to frequent and meeting new people.I like to look after myself by keeping fit and eating well (but i'm not a freak about it). I'm looking for a place that I feel comfortable bringing friends over to and close to public transport. Not interested in living with full time smokers but love animals!
Hi mates, We're a couple who's looking for a flat-share or house-share. A bit about me, I have been living one year in Queensland and now I'm a student in Greenwich English College until January 2018 and then at Monash university for 5 years (Clayton Campus). I am also doing a lot of sports and dance. My boyfriend, 25, Jason, is just arriving in Melbourne to work first and then to study Logistics. We're working most of the time, easy going, clean, friendly and quite even though we enjoy having a drink on the weekends. We're looking for a private double room for at least 9 months lease - fully furnished will be a must. Let us know if you'd like more information about us! Cheers :-)
Hi, I'm Llewellyn (or Lewy for short). I'm Australian, currently sharing a place in Carlton, but feel like a change to somewhere with a little more space a couple less people. Still wanting to be very close to the CBD for work. Mainly looking within the 1st ring of suburbs surrounding the CBD. I work in Audio/Visual for the events industry - most often in Docklands and do some freelance work as a Sound Recordist with projects for TV, Film or the Web. In my spare time I enjoy cooking, listening to music (fan of Ska and seeing it live), walking and combinations of these (though usually not cooking and walking). Also, catching up on all the awesome TV shows I watch. Fond of card games (almost always have a deck of playing cards with me. Excellent ice breaker), board games, video games, jigsaw puzzles, etc. Would love to be living with other creatives (for shared passion reasons), events/hospitality/shift workers (for similarity of work lifestyle) and/or fans of relaxing at home with some good TV. I'd say mainly looking for teamups, so we're sharing the adventure of a new place, but happy to come across a good offer from someone already situated.
So besides my odd love for cleaning and total understood respect for personal space, I'll bring many rainbows and smiles into your days. Not to mention the constant entertainment of my queer ass personality 👽 I'm currently working at The Waterslide Bar in Southbank (soon to be melbournes BEST) ;) I don't spend a lot of time going out and partying, my shifts at work are enough! Although when I do go out, I like chasing happy hours and people watching. Chatting about strange things that will probably never ever happen and laughing until I literally just can not. In love with music. I don't think there is ever a time in my days or nights that I don't have music playing. BUT! I'm not a dickhead about it. Not gonna be popping ACDC at 3am... Animal lover, but don't have one. Smoker, but I'll literally walk a million miles to have one if that's your wish. Star gazer, when Melbourne isn't bloody overcast. In a relationship with red wine, but not an alcoholic. From Western Australia, im a max chiller. Peace out future housemates ✌🏼 look forward to meeting you, whoever you may be 😎
Hi I am Gab! I am a 32 years old, working full-time in education. I am respectful, open, friendly, clean and easy going. I am originally from Ecuador and have lived in Melbourne for 14 years. In terms of sharing a house, I am all for openness, generosity, friendship and community but also understand importance of respecting peoples' space and privacy, and that means keeping things clean and tidy as well! I like cooking, running, doing yoga, music, dancing, hiking and hanging out with family and friends in my spare time! I also love pets so happy to join a house with any pets!!!
Hey! My name is Bryan, and I'm from Chicago in the US. I'll soon be working as an ESL teacher in the Melbourne CBD. I'm super laid back, clean, and lightly nerdy. If it's your thing, I'm totally down with sharing and communal living. I'm also a bit quiet, but I love a drink and the periodic party. For fun I like to go to random events, explore, go out to eat, or just chill in a park or beach somewhere. I'm also keen for movies or games on rainy days. Looking forward to finding some awesome flatmates and living it up in Melbourne!
I am a happy healthy fit uncomplicated casual and non-smoking professional. I have lived in Sydney for the past decade and have opted to move to Melbourne and make Australia's sport capital my new home. I enjoy company as much as i enjoy solitude, although a Barossa Red will always lure me into a social gathering. I do not enjoy beer or fast foods. Home and or slow cooking is my preference enjoyed in company and with a decent Red. In terms of my living quarters I'm all in favour of Neat and Tidy living. A cluttered environment scrabbles my contentment mood. I'd rather sacrifice 60 minutes to tidy the kitchen and communal living area, than slouch in front of the TV amidst clutter and jumble. I'm looking forward to making new friends and EnJoYiNg all the wonderful activities Melbourne provides.
I am from Texas. I just moved here from Korea where I taught English for the past 3 years. I am clean and respectful of others. I enjoy cooking and learning how to make new dishes. I also like to watch tv or spend time at the beach.
Hey there! My name is Sophie, I'm 28 and moved here to Melbourne in February from NZ. I am a graphic designer currently in the process of job hunting for nice and tidy place! I have savings to pay for rent etc until I get a job. Happy to pay rent in advance with bond. Rent and bills have always been a priority to me, they come first before anything and I have never missed a rent payment or bill in my life. I enjoy exploring the city, a drink or two and eating! I also enjoy quiet nights in and relaxing. Love music, finding rooftop bars and I love to cook too (amazing kitchens are a winner for me!) but I still appreciate Uber Eats! I'm really easy to get along with, very tidy and always clean up after myself - one of those clean as you go people! I want to live in a home where everyone takes pride in how the place looks. I am available to move in as soon as possible and happy to discuss length of stay. I am a very happy person and looking forward to making new friends along the way! I promise you won't regret living with me!
Hey! I'm looking to move soon, preferably staying on the south side however I'm open! Originally a brissie chick, I've lived in Sydney, London and now Melbourne. I'm a trained drama and dance teacher, but just doing general teaching at the moment. I'm very house trained, laid back and considerate housemate. Looking for a clean house mate/s, who would be up for some fun times!
Hi future housemate 🙂 My name is Surangi. I'm Sri Lankan-Australian and I've been a Sydneysider since 1994. I work full time as a Project Support Officer for an ASX-listed professional infrastructure and environmental services company and just moved to Melbourne for work on the 13th. I'm a friendly ambivert who enjoys a quiet night in as well as the occasional big night out and I'm looking to share a place with someone/s in their 20s - 30s with a similar-ish approach to life. No couples please. I enjoy going out and meeting new people, trying new ciders (not really a wine connoisseur sorry, but hey more for you right?) and exploring my surroundings. But I also love to just relax at home - read a good book or discover a great new TV show. I am trying to be better about getting to the gym regularly but so far it's been a bit of a fail. I am pretty neat and tidy, and easy to live with. I also happen to make awesome shortbread and deliciously addictive Nutella brownies #justsaying😉 My favourite thing to do in Melbourne is attending the Australian Open. And just walking around and exploring. I think that just about covers it, contact me if you're interested by messaging me here, Surangi 🙃
Clean enough not leave the place looking like a brothel, chilled enough not to freak out about dishes in the sink. I'm a chef, without the craziness (a Jamie, not a Ramsay). Keep to myself mostly, but always keen to hang out. Happy person, looking for other positive people. Occasionally have a cigarette (not inside of course). Would prefer to live with younger people. Pianist and an artist (Who's not going to play piano at 3am when you're trying to sleep). Always Sensible, chilled and understanding.
Hi There! My name is Eli (Eleonora) and I am a German on a Working Holiday Visa seeking for a place to settle down for a year in Melbourne. I prefer a movie night over partying but would never decline a cider after work! I love cats but I am scared of dogs, enjoy the presence of any other animal that is not out for my blood and am pretty easy going in general. I am a tidy person in general and it's important to me that everything has it's order. You hate vacuuming, sorting through stuff and cleaning windows? I am your woman! (I am not a big fan of dishes though so if you have a dishwasher...) My hobbies are cooking, video games, fashion and random strolls through the city. The Room I am looking for should be private, furnished with a bed and should not cost more than 300$ including expenses. Feel free to contact me for any questions about my work and other stuff! Cheers, Eli
Working professional, reliable private and friendly female looking to share, preferably in a place that has a courtyard or yard as I have a 9 yo staffy who's super friendly and likes company. He's fully housetrained - so am I lol. Moved back to melbourne for work. I like to chill on wknds seeing family and friends, fairly settled with a routine during the week of work, gym and walking my dog daily. I like to think I live a fairly healthy lifestyle, like cooking from scratch (mum's veggie patch is going to come in handy yay), I'm clean and considerate as have been in a share household for most of my adult life. Don't mind the occasional outing, but prefer dinners with great company. Have some furnishings but not much. Can purchase if needed for a share house that's new. Looking for another person th share with to create a home rather than somewhere to just live. Pls msg if you're looking to look together for a new place also.
I'm Michael, I'm 34 and work in tech in St Kilda. I'm easy going and great to live with. I'm well experienced in share-housing. If you like I can provide references from my current housemates. I'm clean, organised and always able to cover bills. I go to the gym, make mobile apps in my spare time and do video editing. I also have a ridiculously huge movie collection. Seriously, it's really big. I enjoy the occasional drink and a night out but I'm by no means a party animal. I also play guitar. I might be on my laptop a fair bit but I'm by no means antisocial.
Hey Guys, I’m moving back to Melbourne after a stint in London and I need somewhere to live! I’m great to live with because I'm a neat FREAK (I’ve been known to do laundry when drunk) and I’m also an expert at ordering in (in the past 3 months I’ve cooked 5 times), although don’t let that deceive you because I’m still an alright cook. Another great thing is that I’m a ‘social media expert’ well that’s what my colleagues in London called me so I’m always there to help you draft the perfect insta caption. Part of my neat-freakiness is that I don’t throw parties at home so you don’t need to worry about me trashing the place, and I also have my twin brother’s Netflix account (free to use) which honestly is a pretty good deal. I’m pretty easy with where I live as long as it’s central to the city. My goal is to live near/on a tram line because prior to London I was confined to Williamstown… So hit me up if you want some sass in your life because I’ll bring it in bucketloads.
I'm James, a 25 yr old kiwi working in advertising. I have been in Melbourne almost a year and am looking for a quiet and sunny room in a central suburb and some cool people to live with. I'm a laid back, social guy who appreciates things to be clean and tidy, but I'm always up for having friends over for a few drinks during the weekend. I work in advertising, so if I'm busy you may not see me for a couple of days, but at the end of the week I'll be craving a few drinks and a good laugh. I enjoy eating out and going to gigs, as well as making the effort to squeeze the odd run in too. As a kiwi, my footy knowledge is slowing developing, so I'll be making an effort to attend a few games this season. Can cook, and happy to share meals if you are too.
Hi all! My name is Martin and I have shared a flat in my country so I know how to deal with everyday life at a shared flat. I am really flexible, organized and easy going so I believe I could be a great roommate at your place. I love Arts, painting, watching movies and have a chat with my housemates but I respect everyone else privacy and space as well.
