Hi! We are a couple from the UK who are looking for a place to call home. We both currently work (Lewis as a professional golfer at Albert Park golf club) We are very easy going, tidy and respectful people. We appreciate people like their own space - as do we. But we also enjoy being social. We would need to move in on the 10th April as we are coming back from a east coast trip. Ideally we would like to see rooms before we leave on the 12th March. Look forward to hearing from you. :)
Im a social, uncomplicated, friendly young chef from Switzerland and I cook almost every free day for my self so we could split the grocery costs and I would cook. Im earning good money as a chef here in Melbourne so the rent is never going to be to late. I would love to move into an apartment soon as possible and meet my flatmates of the future :) We are going to have a good time
Hi. I'm a quiet single musician and artist--so I'm looking for a cool place friendly to folks like me. Like to keep to myself; easy to get along with--house-trained, so I won't leave sinkfuls of dirty dishes etc. for others; enjoy an occasional film noir.
Hey I'm Dan, 22, full time employed in financial services, pretty extraverted. I'm relatively new to Melbourne and looking to move near the CBD. Would love to find one or more cool housmates. I like Great food, beer, wine & whisky and I'm told I'm excellent company to binge watch nextflix and drink cheap wine with. If your a fan of Doctor Who, Game of Thrones or South Park that's already a great start. I'm pretty chilled out, like to keep a clean place. I don't have any gender or cultural preferences on who I live with, as long as your friendly and good company I'm we will get along great. Also somewhere with a car park would be great.
Hi, my name is Kate and I am looking for a room to rent and a place to call home. I work as a nurse at the Royal Children's Hospital, however I don't do night shift :) I'm friendly and very down to earth. I have a caring nature and enjoy a pretty easy going lifestyle. After work I often like to get cosy, cook and watch Netflix, or head out for a meal with friends. My days off include staying active, spending time with friends and family, eating out or having a few drinks at a local pub. I moved here 3 years ago from Adelaide, therefore I still love experiencing new things around Melbourne and exploring new brunch spots. I'd like to live with someone who will enjoy having a chat and a laugh when we're together. I tend to have a glass of wine with my dinner and you would always be welcome to join me. I will also be respectful of your own space and privacy. I am wanting to house share for the time being then hopefully purchase my own place in the coming years :) I'll look forward to hearing from you!
Recently moved to Australia I'm looking to socialise over dinner or a few drinks, relocating from London I enjoy discovering new places for the day or for the moment. I'm 29, single and fun! I enjoy sport, keeping fit and hoping to get into sailing or rowing whilst here in aus. I'm not a crazed party animal but I do like to go out on a weekend, when I'm not doing that I like a night in chilling in my home. I'm currently here on a year working holiday visa, which could extend pending my sponsorship. Here till Jan 18' for sure!
Hiya! my name is maddy and i'm moving up from adelaide to melbourne to attend a film school. i'm a very friendly person who gets along with most people as well as having a love for animals. im really respectful and not a party person and rather introverted meaning i occasionally just need time on my own to recharge though i am quite happy to become friends and have a chat/hangout. im neat and tidy but not a neat freak and love video games (i have a ps3, wii, wii u, nds, and 3ds that will be accompanying me on my journey) and will always be happy to binge watch any anime or tv show with you!
I'm a young professional looking for short or long term accommodation. I'm very clean, sociable and enjoy keeping fit, and a social glass of wine. I work full-time in Marketing on Collins Street and spend my spare time visiting restaurants, reading, writing and try to be outdoors as much as possible. I'm very friendly and sociable and enjoy keeping an active social life. I am very clean and tidy and don't mind looking after the household if others are busy. Please contact me if you think I could be a good fit for your house.
Heya this is Sunny and Allison. We are arriving in Melbourne soon maybe on 28th of this month and looking for a place to stay. Since we have a wedding to attend in Sydney in April, we would be able to stay for 5-6weeks. If you have a spacious room for 2girls, give us a shout. (The house doesnt have to be located in central area) We respect other housemates, are clean and tidy. And we are not party animals .... (i mean we can be but nah haha) Cheers!!
G'day! My name is Hans, and I'm 21 year-old viking from Denmark who's very interested in finding a place. I've been having fun in Melbourne for about 3 months now and I'm loving it here! I work as a waiter/bartender at Riverland Bar. I'm very open to meeting new people and love going out to see awesome stuff, everything from hiking and biking to concerts or festivals. Additionally, i speak fluent banter. I've lived abroad in Singapore for 8 months and stayed in hostels around Asia for another 9 months, so I definitely know the importance of respecting privacy and cleanliness. These trips abroad have made me quite mature for my age as well. Anyway, I'd love to meet up for a chat or go for an inspection, i'm sure it'll be great! See you soon Hans
I've been house-sharing in Melbourne for the past 6 years and I like for a house to feel like a home. This usually comes down to the people in it! I'm extremely friendly, approachable and open minded. Once you know me I'm also playful, observant, cheeky, empathetic, and almost no topic of conversation is off-limits. After a big day of socialising I'll probably chill in the courtyard (with any luck, where I live will have one) with a book on my own for a little bit to recharge. I am 'house trained' as in I treat things with respect, ask first if I'm ever using someone else's stuff and clean as I go - I'd like my housemates to value the same mantra. I'm not a huge party goer so it wouldn't make sense for me to team with anyone who is! Bitching, judging, preaching, passive-aggressive nonsense etc. all don't bode well with me and I wouldn't stick around for it in a house enviro. I'm all about the live and let live life. I enjoy reading, music/gigs, exploring, watching movies/TV series, hiking, camping, exercising (irregularly, of course) and a bunch of other things but I sure don't need my housemates to have the same interests :) I'm looking for somewhere in the following suburbs: - Brunswick/Brunswick East - Parkville - North Melbourne - Northcote - Collingwood - Fitzroy - Richmond - South Melbourne My preference will be at a place with amazing people, but it's also a priority for me to be walking or cycling distance to a market/supermarket. I don't have any pets but a household open to them would be ace as I'm keen on adopting a cat. A house with a no pets rule, however, is not a deal breaker.
Staying with a mate in Elwood & love it this side of town! I'm studying horticulture whilst working for a landscape business. I'm neat and tidy, loads of fun & love a laugh but respect peoples space and privacy. We have such wonderful things to do in our backyard, and i enjoy going on adventures around Victoria and Aus to see the beauty we have. Love it hot, love it cold! Melbourne makes life entertaining. I enjoy lots of sports and am a mean frisbee player. Hope to move in with a fun and open housemate(s) in or before March 1.
We are a chilean married couple (Eloisa and Cristian), both 30 years old, Physical Therapists, clean and easy going. We came here with Work & Holiday Visa to practice our English, live the city, meet new people, earn some money and then travel around the world.
Hi guys My name is Gabriele, i'm from Italy and i'm 22yo looking for a room! I'm really responsible, clean and tidy, but i also like fun, watching movie or chilling and talking in front a bottle beer or a glass of wine! I also play basketball and i'm currently working in an italian bar in the CBD!
Hey I'm Chris, a 26yo audio engineer/music & video producer originally from Wellington, NZ, who's making the move across the ditch. I'm a social, friendly and respectful guy, and I love to hang out and go on adventures as much as I like working on my own music or video projects in my spare time. I'm searching for a flat in central Melbourne where I will be looking to work in the audio/AV industry. Would love to hear from you, cheers!
I am a 24 years old guy from Germany. I am gonna study at RMIT for one semester so I am looking for a place to stay until the end of June so approximately for 4 months. I am very friendly and relaxed and love to hang out but cherish my privacy too. I like to do sports. Also I am very clean and tidy.
Hey there, I'm Mez (Or Maryanne), I'm 28, I work in advertising (Richmond) and I also study part time. I'm just looking for a chilled place to live that is close to the city, has parking & is around $250 a week. I have a few bits of furniture if needed & happy to make cocktails for housemates ;) I keep pretty busy but I also like having a home to relax in. I'm pretty respectful of other peoples space and usually up for a weekend BBQ or music gig. Hoping to move around March 5th. Happy to answer anymore questions.
Hi something about us: Philipp (24 y/o) is an international student from Germany. I am half German and half Filipino. I'm in my second year of my master degree in industrial engineering. In Melbourne I am doing my study abroad semester @ RMIT University for the next 4 month (end june/mid july). I would say I am an easygoing person. In my free time I like to do sports like jogging, soccer or going to gym. But I also go out for dinner/drinks with my friends. I’m experienced in shared living. I used to live in shared apartments for more than 5 years, so I think I how to clean, be tidy and be respectful with the privacy of other flatmates ;) Manu (26 y/o) also is an international student from Germany. Together with Philipp I have been studying industrial engineering at RWTH Aachen University for the past 5 years. My special interestes at my studies are green energy and sustainable energy utility. The next months I will be studying at RMIT University and after that completing my masters degree in Germany. In the past 5 years I have been living in shared flats and like a clean and tidy status quo. I like to cook together, drink a beer or two and dicuss/ joke about any up2date problems. Also I like to go out, grab something to eat/ to drink and relax. When I'm not studying I try to do a lot of sports. My favorite sport is basketball which I like to play, whatch or even train others. Besides that I'm really interested in politics and hold a scholarship from the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (in Germany). Together with my partner Nora, we are together for almost four years, I will share a bedroom. Nora is 25 years old and from Germany as well. I am already done with my studies and hold a master degree in medical engineering. I am now here in Melbourne to take some time and find a part time job while the others are at the university. My interests range from spending time with friends, music, movies, reading, sleeping, cooking, baking, eating, watching sports, doing sports, drinking, dancing to doing nothing and just have a relaxing time. I have been living in shared appartments for 7 years now and have had lots of different room mates all over Germany. We are looking forward to hearing from you and having an awesome time together in Melbourne.
*** Please no room shares :) *** Independent but always down for a catch up and adventures to places I haven't been in Melbourne yet. I'm originally from NZ but spent most of the year travelling through the UK and Aus. Working full time in business development and finishing my masters thesis which keeps me busy but I also like to get out and about in the weekends with my friends. I also play netball and beach volley competitively so ideally looking for a flat with like-minded individuals who keep active. Enjoy a good vino and a catch-up after work sometimes plus I'm not shy for a dance out from time to time but I prefer a good bar or pub over the clubs these days. I also love food and coffee and am always down for a brunch mission.. Looking for somewhere long term 6 months+ and would ideally like to move in with people my age as I intend to make friendships as well as flatmates.
Oi there ! My name is Lindsay and I am a 25 year old Canadian Registered Nurse seeking longer term accommodation come April. A bit about myself; - I am a clean, respectful & tidy - very social & outgoing - avid coffee lover - looking to meet new people & mingle - love health & fitness, exploring & the outdoors Currently looking to find two bedrooms in a place for myself and my amazing roomie Jono whose bio & link can be found here ; **Just to clarify, we are NOT seeking couples accommodation :) About Jono: Snowboarder/skier/lawyer/craft beer enthusiast - there are many words that I could use to tell you about myself, but those are the ones that spring to mind first! I'm a lawyer working in the CBD full time. In my free time I enjoy outdoor sports - I spend a lot of my weekends at the snow during winter. This summer I've been hiking and camping often. I'm a clean, tidy person who is pretty easy to live with. Getting along with my housemates is very important to me - while we don't have to be best friends, I don't want to feel like we're merely people co-occupying the same place! Fun tidbit about myself - after I finished uni and before I started full time work, I went travelling in the US for 4 months. I travelled around the western states skiing and snowboarding - I made it to 30 ski resorts while I was there! I gained a lot of life experience on this trip and learned a lot about myself.
My name is William 21 years old and I have recently moved here from Perth. Currently studying Interior Design at RMIT. Generally a quiet, laid back and chilled out kind of guy. But I am very clean, tidy and minimal. I love photography, arts, music and clothes. Always keen to explore new places since I am new to Melbourne.

Hi! My name is Wiktor but it's pronounced like Victor, I'm 23 years old and I'm an International Student from Poland, getting my Masters in Automotive Engineering at RMIT. I'm a really calm and laid back person but I'm also a really responsible and clean person. I'm pretty good with any housework and fixing up different things. I'm planning on getting an 4x4 SUV to go on trip every now and then. I just arrived in Australia after almost 5 years in the States where I got my Bachelors (in Texas). I'm looking for a private room. As I mentioned- I'm really calm and quiet, won't thorw any parties or have too many friends over, but I like to go out every now and then, at home I usually do some work on my laptop or nap. I'm also an athlete (playing american football) so going to the gym and healthy lifestyle is a big part of my every day routine. I'm really a non-conflict guy and I'm super easy to get along with:) Need to know anything else- message me:)
Sane and stable guy who comes with all of the furniture and none of the drama! Ideally looking to begin a new share-house - or join one if it looks ideal. Professionally full time employed - and lead a busy lifestyle. A little bit too old for the full time party house - but don't mind a few drinks of the evening and a get together every now and again. Responsible enough to pay bills on time, and prefer nice & clean, good quality and good location accommodation. If the household goes alright - looking for 12 months plus!

About me: Snowboarder/skier/lawyer/craft beer enthusiast - there are many words that I could use to tell you about myself, but those are the ones that spring to mind first! Hi! I'm in the process of relocating to Melbourne, from Sydney, for work. I work full time in sales, Monday to Friday. Interests include health and fitness, cooking, travel, weekends away (will get back to Sydney every so often to see friends and family) and exploring new places. I love a clean and tidy home and respectful of others belongings and privacy. Having lived alone for a while I have a few things I can contribute to my new home if needed, otherwise happy to store. I keep busy through the week with work and fitness and enjoy a drink or two on weekends, though certainly not a partier these days.
Hi, I'm John Looking to move out, I work retail, clean, love outdoors, exercise, animals, travel, cooking, and cheesy jokes. Feel free to ask me anything.

Love going for bike rides and trying to keep healthy.

I am always up for a quiet drink or an adventure out to explore somewhere new! Equally, I do also enjoy my own space to relax after a long week. Hello everyone! We are Paul and Yasmine, a young French couple! We come to Melbourne for a period of one year or more and we are looking for a private room in a share house or in a house. The ideal would be close to the CBD but we are ok for other proposals not too far. We are very respectful and rather discreet. We speak several languages so a house with people of different nationalities would be cool! We love cooking and sharing our culture with others. We like to have fun, to party but also calm. We are both vegetarians but we have no problem with those who eat meat 😉 If you have any proposals, or questions, feel free to ask !
Hey all, I am Nitesh and currently enjoying my vacations in States. I work full time as a Software Developer in the CBD. I work in the expedition travel industry and love exploring, camping, hiking, yoga, fitness, wine, and chocolate. I'm overseas with work a fair amount though 80% of my job is office based in South Melbourne. As a house mate I'm tidy, easy going, and friendly. I like to have a chat, share a meal/wine but also respect personal space. I've always become good friends with my previous house mates.

Hi! I'm an employed 40yo female seeking share accommodation. I'm happy to have a chat and a laugh but also enjoy my quiet time. I read and love movies. I'm clean and also love to cook but happy to just cook for myself too. I leave early for work in the mornings as I work in South Melbourne so walking distance to public transport is required. Just looking for nice people to move in with as soon as possible with my own bedroom (shared bathroom is fine) and either OSP or relatively safe on street parking. Any queries, happy to answer them!!
I´m a sociable, tidy, responsible and easygoing student looking for a nice and clean flat to live. I have a full time job and I study evening classes so, during week days I´m really busy. I´m looking for a flat which I can find a good rest and sleep. So a calm and a quiet place would be perfect for me. At weekends I like to wake up late hours to have a good rest and hang out with friends or just enjoy around the table with some glasses of wine.
Hi my name is Adi. I'm from New Zealand, I moved to Melbourne for work. I'm a civil Engineer. I love my sport (cricket, rugby, league, NBA, NFL Tennis etc.). Pretty relaxed and tidy flatmate. I've been flatting for the past 8 years so I know how to get along with new people
I am Diego, 30 yo, working full time in customer service for a transport company. I am a friendly and easy going person, like to keep spaces clean and tidy. Like to chat and also very respectful of people's privacy and their own alone time. I am not very at cooking but try my best, like sports, movies, outdoors and many other things you will know once you get to know me.
I've recently moved to Melbourne and am looking to rent a room for at least 6 months within 5 km of the CBD. I'm 28 years old and work full time in the city. I am quiet and easy to get along with. I'm respectful of others, clean and tidy. When I'm around I enjoy having a chat and a meal with housemates. I like to spend time outside of work exercising and making the most of everything this beautiful city has to offer. I am not a party animal.
Hey! My names Tiffany and i'm a full-time kitchen manager at a popular burger restaurant on collins st. I've just returned from travelling overseas for a while so ill be working a lot to make back my savings so living with others is my best option. I would hardly be home and i tend to keep quiet but i'm always up to hang out. I have a boyfriend but we don't see each other a lot but he would stay the night from time to time. I'm comfortable with both female and male housemates. I'm also very clean and tidy so you'd hardly know i'm there. I do smoke but i'm very discreet and respectful about it so hopefully its not a problem. I already have furniture but if the rooms already furnished it just means less for me to move. I would be sticking around till around Christmas time or after that when i travel again, but i can assure you it wont be anytime before that. Would love to hear from you :)
I'm a 23yo girl from Peru, but I've been living in Australia for three years now. I'm working or study 7/7, so I'm usually back home to chill or cook some dinner. Would be great to find some gay friendly housemates who won't mind to socialise too.I don't smoke and I don't drink much, coffee it's my favourite addiction. I'm interested to move out the first or second week of March. Adriana
My name is Lídia, I'm originally from Barcelona but I'm actually half Greek, half Spanish. I first came to Melbourne 4 years ago but I've been travelling around South East Asia & Europe half of them. I'm 29 and I'm currently working in the city 9-5. A little about myself: I like sports, travelling, photography, hiking, camping, eating and cooking, movies...and chilling with my flat mates. I'm a busy body but I also believe home is where the heart is, so I value living with people like me that are easy going but keep a clean and stress free house. Friends instead of just housemates if you know what I mean! Don't want to make it longer so if you're interested or want to know a bit more about myself, let me know! Cheers!
Im 24 and working full time as a Sous chef in a vegan cafe. I work quite a lot of hours so I enjoy my downtime, but I also would never turn down a knock off drink at the local or a night out.
Looking for a few new housemates to create a new sharehouse! I've been looking in the Kensington area, but I'm open to other suggestions, provided they're about a 30 minute cycle to the CBD. A little sweat on the brow distance is cool. I study part time, work part time, and travel part time. I love art, literature, and anything creative; love music, and jam to it almost constantly. I also love watching movies and getting hooked on a good TV show, and enjoy sharing this with housemates. Because of who I am as a person, I may keep odd hours at times, but I'm very quiet at night, and once I'm asleep i'll sleep through anything, so if you're a morning person, there's no need to tiptoe. You *may* have to wake me if there's a fire, though... I like to zone out with exercise, and do a bit of pilates or yoga at home, or go for walks--enter new dog. Also love that I can cycle to work in the city in under 30 minutes. I like home to be my sanctuary, and enjoy being able to come home to housemates who are keen to chat or watch a movie together, but I also like my down time, and chill out in my room. I am friendly and easy going, and admire those traits in others. I love to spend time with housemates cooking, watching movies, and chatting, but I can respect other peoples space. I definitely like feeling like it's a home, a sanctuary, and like being friends with housemates, rather than ships passing in the night. I'm vegetarian, but not the kind to unleash diatribes about meat because you eat it. No pets at present, but I'm hoping to adopt a rescue dog, so ideally you're pet friendly. It'll be a small dog, but an inside/outside one.
Hi I am Paola, currently working and studying. Looking for a nice and clean place that I can call home. I am very easy going, enjoy having a meal or a drink but also respect privacy.
