Hey there, Kiwi traveller returned from the UK, wanting to escape to Melbourne. I have full time work in retail waiting for me (*hello discounted clothing*), just need a place to stay. I'm tidy, pretty chill, down for a drink (or three) and a chat after work.
I'm a chemical engineer from Malaysia, on the lookout for a home in the Melbourne area for myself (1 person) to stay in and work from for at least 3 months from Feb 12, up until October 2017 (given the right rental terms). I recently began my own consultancy to serve clients in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan; and planning to explore and expand my business network in Australia. At home, I'm a husband to another engineer who often works outstation and father of a young boy: I am butler, housekeeper, cook and nanny all rolled into one. Nothing makes me happier than good company - a long good read on a rainy day, a mind-bending film-athon on a lazy weekend or long chats about growing up over tea and biscuits late in the evening. I've plenty of experience sharing living space: a dormitory of 20 attending boarding school in my teens, a shared house of 4 during my A-Levels, a shared house of 6 attending university and later a shared house of 5 when I started my first job. If you're looking for a flatmate to be a sounding board, experiment new ideas (especially cooking) or to lend a hand when you need to, I will not disappoint.
Hello! We are two 23-year old Spanish girls. We both study medicine and are coming to Melbourne on the 12th of February. One of us is staying till the 4th of April and the other till the 23rd of April, approximately. We are interested in renting two single rooms or a twin bedroom. We are respectful and tidy, and we speak English, Spanish and French.
Hey all! I'm a clean, respectful Canadian girl looking to meet great people that would love to have a good time together. I love to cook and I am pretty easy to live with, all I ask is the same respect I'd give to you! I'm super excited to make new friends and share bottles of wine together!
Hello! I'm an undergraduate student from Singapore who will be studying in University Of Melbourne. I'm a 20 year old Chinese guy, fluent in both English and Mandarin. I like music, night life, outdoor activities, almost all kinds of sports, and visit the gym regularly (literally just everything that a "teenager" loves). I'm usually very quiet, but talkative with people i'm close with. My goal is to get really good results in University, while at the same time thoroughly enjoying this overseas studying experience. I'd love to make new friends and learn about cultures different from mine. Hope to have a pleasant experience with you!
Hi there! I'm Lennart and I am a backpacker from Germany. Just having graduated from high school I am traveling through Australia for about seven month. Before I already lived in Perth and I am going to stay in Melbourne for about three month. In my quality time I like to do any kinds of sports: I go for a run or do fitness training on a daily basis.
I'm a 23 year old product designer from the UK. Tidy, considerate and social. Interested in meeting new people. Like chilling out during the week and having the occasional few drinks at the weekend. Huge interest in all types of music. Quite active. I like running and getting out of the city for hikes every once in a while. I also love to cook.
I am an architect and I work full time (9-6 Mon-Fri) in South Melbourne. Currently, I live in Thronbury. I am looking for a house to move closer to work. I'm a very respectful, easygoing, clean and tidy person. I like to keep my environment tidy and clean but I'm not fussy about it. I am pretty busy with work during the week. After work, I usually have dinner and watch or read something before bed. On weekends, I usually like to catch up with friends, go swimming and watch movies. On weekends, I usually cook for the whole week (3-4 vegetarian meals) and I would be more than happy to share some food and a glass of wine with my housemates. Preferably, I'd like to live with housemates who I can call friends in a house that really feels like home. I am looking for respectful housemates who value privacy and personal time.
Hi there :) I'm July, a postgraduate student from China. I will start my studying in the first semester of 2017. I'm now looking for a room near the unimelb. I'm a easy-going person and also enjoy personal space. I'm pretty new here and desire to make some friends. In my spare time, I always watch a movie or go for a swimming. I also like going around at the weekend to find some unique spots and take some photos. Absolute foodie and would like to share delicious Chinese dishes. I'm looking for a private room with sunshine. It would be better if it could hold a double bed. As a reference, I'm a Gemini with Moon and Asc in Leo. Can't wait to embrace the city.
Hi I'm Amanda 21, third-year undergrad at UniMelb. Am looking for a room (not shared). Am easy to live with, respectful, clean, tidy and not a big party person. I enjoy cooking and trying new things. Am usually pretty chill, a bit of an introvert but love a good movie night or a meal and drink whilst having a chat, and going out every now and then. Looking to move in some time during Feb.
Hey, I am a 20-year-old student from South Tyrol, Italy. I will live in Melbourne for 5 months as an exchange student at the William Angliss Institute. I am looking not only for a nice room, but also for some nice flatmates I can have fun with. I am a very tidy and responsible person, open for everything new and I love cooking. It would also be very nice to find new friends, with whose I can enjoy my time in Melbourne.
Hi, I'm looking for a room closeish to Southern Cross station (less than 30 mins by foot or tram). I'm a young professional and just migrated from the UK. I'm working full time. I enjoy yoga, taekwondo, reading, walking and kayaking. I'm quite but sociable. I don't drink or smoke. Am very clean and tidy. Hoping to buy my own place soon so need somewhere nice to stay for probably 6 months to one year. Would be nice to have a little after work and not pass like ships in the night, but it's also good to chill out in your own space after a busy day. I enjoy cooking and eat healthily. If the room has a view and access to a indoor pool that would be a huge bonus!
I am a non smoking female, looking for shared accommodation (furnished preferred) in the city or inner suburbs, as I commute most days to CBD for work. Public transport on my door step is essential as I do not have a car to go from A to B. I am seriously considering teaming up to share a lease with an employed professional in my preferred locations (CBD, Docklands, Southbank, Richmond). I am independent and enjoy doing my own thing most of the time but love sharing the occasional meal at night / weekend. A homebody who happens to have an active life outside the home, if that makes sense. I am a social person who enjoys the occasional glass of wine but am not a party animal. I am reliable, neat and tidy, responsible and experienced at sharing / house sitting. Am flexible with dates and terms but ideally looking to move in next March (2017) or earlier if I find the right set up. Just returned from overseas and enjoying what this city has to offer. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers!
Oh, Hi! I'm a human being that is a fan of Doctor Who and general Science Fiction type things. I'm going to be studying at the VCA and simply need a place to exist in for two ten week blocks at a time between the 5th of march until the 31st of May and the 22nd of July until the 13th of October. Initially I may come across as a bit shy but i'm happy to help out with any odd jobs if needed. I'm also a fan of memes and would be happy to share them with any co-habitator.
Two hilarious guys from Sweden who just fled the cold for warmer climes. Outgoing, social and really funny. We love sports, dancing and making new friends! Good chefs, clean and tidy and movie-watchers. In general a dreamteam!
We are sociable, easy going and very easy to get along with! We are tidy, and respectful of other people's belongings. We are all from England, and have been travelling Asia, arriving here about three weeks ago. We are looking for two double rooms, and a cosy chilled out atmosphere to settle for a few months! :) Eloise has just got a job for fundraising and is working full time. She is an artist and loves to paint and draw. Rach is currently looking for full time employment preferably in retail or as a barista! She has a degree in human biology, and is a very kind hearted and relaxed person. Dane is an electrical engineer looking for full time work also. He has been travelling for almost a year now and is looking for somewhere to settle and call a home for a while! We really hope to hear from you :)
We are Japanese couple who are looking for a suitable room. Masterroom is preferable; however, we do not mind sharing facilities. Both work during daytime in CBD. I have just expand my visa for a year and my gf has working holiday visa, valid to December so that we are going to stay 6months or more. Lastly but not least, the most important thing is respectful share mates who can keep privacy each other.
Hi ! I'm Chloe and I am a 21 y/o female who just graduated from RMIT! I am really creative and love drawing and illustration. I like to spend my time (when I'm not working) by reading, watching tv, and chilling out with friends. I am pretty quiet and tidy and tend to keep to myself most of the time but i do like talking to my housemates too!
Hi! I'm 25 and work in Advertising, in South Melbourne. I'm looking for somewhere close to work/and the tram lines. I keep it pretty low key during the week with going to the gym and work. I like to have a few wines on the weekend, watch some netflix, go out for dinners, go shopping etc etc. I'm clean tidy & respectful, looking for someone around the same age with similar interests. Let me know if you're interested!
We are a fun, friendly couple who are moving to Melbourne from Wellington, NZ. We are clean and tidy and enjoy socialising with others. We both enjoy playing a variety of sports. Amy (26) is a qualified chartered accountant and James (26) is a qualified electrician who has now just completed a Bachelor of Commerce. We are reliable at paying rent on time. We are looking forward to our move to Aussie and meeting new people.
I am a 25 y.o. accountant working in South Melbourne. I tend to keep to myself but I am always up for a bit of banter over beers. I do enjoy my night life but did someone say games night? I cook and clean (when I'm not recovering from the night before). I am pretty handy and can usually fix technological issues around the house. I love to binge on TV shows whilst smashing my dinner and sitting there until I realise I have achieved nothing tonight. I attempt to be active regularly by playing basketball once a week and trying to get into the gym a few times a week. Although I am shy at first, I am very easy to get along with. I am quite chilled and usually up for whatever. Looking for flat mates that are sociable but don't intrude. Looking for a place preferably with a parking spot. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hi My name is Marika I'm a 31 year old female working as a full time Concierge at a hotel in the city. I enjoy outdoor activities including running and going to the gym. I'm happy to socialise with flatmates but at the same time I'm very independent. I'm not into heavy partying so I wouldn't cause any noise.

Hey I like to get out and enjoy life, but also stay at home and veg out. I'm easy going and tidy. There will always be responsibilities when living in a shared apartment and those I have no problem in dealing with. Enjoy having a laugh and being active. I'm independent and fully respect your privacy! Hope this is enough but if you have any questions I am happy to answer.
Im am a 19yr old full time student, I am tidy and will keep to my self mostly. I am always up for a drink. I come with netflix and Stan
Hey Guys I'm a leasing manager that specialises in project marketing. I'm very career focused and work long hours - so who ever I have the pleasure of rooming with will only really see me before bed time. In saying that I enjoy being around people and easy with whatever is going. My passions are travelling and business and great comedy!! (life is a bit of a joke really) All I'm looking for is a place with a car park or easy off street parking, the size of the room does not bother me - looking to move closer to work and save some cash on rent hence the reason looking to move in to a share house plus its always cool meeting new people. I love my city (Melbourne) and know it well so I could show any out of towner's a thing or 2 if needed. Peace!
Im a spanish girl, looking for a house to call home. I study English in the mornings and I'm looking for work in the afternoons. I am a person who loves to have a few beers from time to time but who at the same time likes to be quiet at home. Easy goung, clean, friendly... I'm your perfect housemate!
Myself and my partner Colin are an Irish couple in our twenties on a one year working holiday visa. We are currently working and living in Perth & visiting family! Our next stop is Melbourne, we fly over on Feb 1st & we plan on securing jobs and spending three - four months there. We are a sociable couple who enjoy meeting new people, we love cooking in the evenings and staying active. We are good craic & we are also both very clean and respectful of other people's homes. We are looking for accommodation in the CBD, inner suburbs or very close to public transport for easy access to the city. We would preferably like a private double room that is furnished. Thanks :)
I'm a student commencing a Masters degree at the University of Melbourne. I am very clean, tidy, easy going, and respectful. I'm preferably looking for a private space in a share house or similar with other students or residents in their 20s.
Hello, I'm Jacopo! I am an Italian graduated student, I'm actually in Melbourne on a working holyday. I am looking for a single room. I'm a quiet, happy and indipendent person, and I am used to live with other flatmates. I love cooking for other people (and i'm quite good in doing it ;) ). I'm a relaxed person that love chilling and helping the others. I'm super tidy, i can't stand to live in a place without a good level of clean. I studied agriculture and i love animals and plants.
Since I have to work and go to school at the same time, i wont be at home a lot of time. But when i do, i am a very social-able person who like to do things together, hope to find a open minded and easy going housemate.
Hello! Looking for somewhere to live in the inner suburbs with great people! I work in Banking 9-5. Usually out and about running, bike rides, hiking, bit of gym as well as nights out/gigs on my time off. Clean, considerate, not a great cook but don't burn toast... Flexible on move date. Keen to find the right place as soon as possible.
**Just wanted to point out before anyone msgs me I'm not looking to share a room with someone** I'm originally from Byron Bay but have called Melbourne my home for almost 3 years now. I'm searching for a tidy and quiet-ish share house with people in their early-mid 20's, flexible with the move in date slightly - could wait until early/mid Jan - really just looking for the right place. I am working part time at ANZ head office, as well as studying International relations at Deakin, Burwood, which keeps me pretty busy. Aside from all the usual stuff, like can pay rent and bills on time, housetrained, clean and respectful... I like to get to the beach the rare times the weather is just right, adventure to unknown places, attempt to care for my few plants, yoga, embarrassingly spend way too much time wondering the homeware isles of kmart and love a BYO dinner with friends. Also I'm the girl on the left. Thanks x
Hi, we are a couple of young people and we just recently started looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane at end of January. French woman working in Optometry and English man full time worker in Marketing. Looking for a place: somewhere close to CBD, public transport and all facilities are a must. Very friendly, we are used to live in houseshare or flatshare and comfortable living with other people. Clean and involved in the everyday tasks at home. We are after a new home with a nice, chill and quiet atmosphere. Please message us if you think that you have the right spot.
I am working in CBD area and would like to live nearby. I am looking for a shared accommodation which gives me privacy as well as a chance to have somebody to talk to and hang out a bit occasionally. It would be great to have some company. I am looking for a furnished / semi-furnished apartment with access to kitchen. I would like to cook almost daily (evenings mostly). I am a non-smoker and would prefer to stay with a non-smoker.
