Hello we're Michele (29yo) and Maria Teresa (31yo), Italian couple in Australia for a Working Holiday. We're looking for a nice room (or a teamup to take a flat). We're both non smokers, VERY clean, quiet and sociable, we love food (cooking and especially eating), art, music and travelling. We would like to share a home with persons like us, respectful but still sociable (no house parties or people renting the living room for the love of god).
Hi, I'm Alex, a software engineer from Perth. I just landed my dream grad job in Melbourne, and I'm looking forward to experiencing Melbourne's famous postmodern hospitality from October onwards. I have two guiding principles in life: 1. Don't lie. 2. Be responsible. My rent is always going to be paid on time, if I break something I'll let you know about it, and I won't eat your food in the night. I clean my damn room, as well as common areas after I use them. I've been renting for the last ten years and never had a landlord that I didn't get along with. I'm extremely extroverted, so I love hanging with housemates, but I usually only let myself socialise on weekends and for an hour each evening, otherwise I don't get enough of my study or exercise done. I'm in the gym five days a week, when I'm not working out I'm usually studying psychology, philosophy, or software development. I do enjoy a good board game, and a chat in the evenings. I don't party or drink. I love American football and Japanese pro wrestling, I also read a lot. Ideally I'd like to live with an owner/occupier, because live-in landlords care a lot more about who they rent their rooms to. I'm a conscientious type, and I want to live with others who are honest and reliable. I don't have a car, and don't plan on buying one. NOTE: If you have a place in the free tram zone I can budget $280 for rent, due to saved transport costs.
Hey flatmates! After a couple years of living alone, I’m now looking to share with another/ others. I have lived alone, with friends and with strangers and learnt that the most enjoyable living situations come from the people who live in it! So, a good house mate (or two) is a top priority. About me: I’m 26. Single, straight, non-smoker. Originally from Queensland. Relocated down to Melbourne last year for new career opportunities. I’m now working centrally in Port Melbourne in an office-based marketing role. By nature, I'm ambitious and hard working. You will quickly notice this as I work long hours during the week while juggling some online study a couple nights a week as I am completing a Masters degree also. Despite my ambitious nature - I don't take myself too seriously. I'm shameless, silly and know how to laugh at myself. I like to have fun with life! I value my down-time and like to spend this relaxing or having fun. I enjoy just chilling out and binging Netflix or having a chat over dinner. But I am very adventurous and like to get out and about to try or see new things. I'm very independent, however I'm a people person who values relationships and socializing with those who make me happy. It’s important for me to have a good friendship with the person I live with, so that the home is a happy one :-) As a flatmate - I'm clean and tidy, actively do house chores, pay rent on time, and respect everyone's space. That being said, previous flatmates would describe me as respectful and reliable but lively and fun to live with. I’ve developed long-lasting friendships with the people I live with and hope we can do the same!
I'm an Italian young guy, I'm social and I love having the meal with my roommates, watching tv series together go out for a drink or something funny. I'm a sports guy, I work Full-time in the week and part-time in the weekend, I'm really tidy and clean.
Hey, guys, my name's Jules, originally from Perth WA and been in Melbourne for around 2 years now. I work in the CBD 9-5, enjoy film and photography, basketball, like finding new venues, street food and trying new ales. I can cook almost anything in a pan and always clean up after myself. I am still saving up for another trek around Asia but until then I'm looking for a place near the CBD in a share house. I am a chilled guy and happy to hang out but I can also keep myself busy. I want to secure a private, furnished room long term, so if this fits let me know so we can meet up. Thanks
Fun-loving, sociable couple hailing from Sydney and looking to join the Melbourne tribe. Classic homebodies, we keep our residence super clean and tidy. Full-time tech education executive and entrepreneur with a passion for basketball, brunch and GoT.
Hi! I'm an international student from Indonesia and looking for a furnished room and preferably for long-term rent. I consider myself to be a sociable, very adaptable person and clean housemate. I enjoy nights in at home reading books or watching movies and playing badminton in my spare time. However, I also love having casual chats over a dinner with my housemate(s).
Currently renting in South Yarra, my friend is moving back to Bendigo and our lease ends in July, I am hoping to find someone that would be interested in finding a rental together.Im comfortable paying anywhere from 250-320 per week and am happy to share with an individual or couple. I like to think I'm pretty easy going, I will be honest and admit I'm a poor cook but I can clean! I'm a shift worker but not the kind that complains all the time! I would sleep through WW3 so am 100% comfortable with noise at night or on the weekend.
hi, i am Sommya from india, a student of RMIT. I am in my early 20s, friendly in nature, lively, and a chatty! looking for a private room in a house shared by Indian girls with maximum facilities( preferably gas kitchen). drop a message if house has company-loving mates.
Hi, I am 23, currently studying Masters of Marketing and working as a store manager for Dodo Connect. I am outgoing, friendly, respectful and like to keep things tidy.I have experience living in a share house, so I know the rules. I m quite into sports, music (blues, jazz), gaming and binge watching netflix shows if I have time. I am quite a sociable housemate but I am also considerate of personal space of other housemates. When I am not too busy I love to go for drinks with couple of friends over the weekend and check out new places around Melbourne. Cheers
Hiya!! We are a couple in our late 20's moving to Melbourne at the end of September from Auckland, New Zealand. We are looking for a nice room/home to rent when we first arrive. Ideally for the first 1-2 months while we find something permanent but would consider something more long term if it worked out!! We are both pretty chilled, very considerate, super clean and tidy and pay rent and bills on time. We have been to Melbourne a couple of times but are looking forward to really getting to know what Melbourne has to offer!! I (Jamie) will be starting a new job with a company in South Melbourne, working full time Mon-Fri, Thomas is a musician/producer/DJ and has a few things lined up when we first arrive but given his line of work his working hours are flexible. We are looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, respectful of people's own time and privacy but do enjoy a glass of red wine and good chats from time to time!! (and we are both animal lovers if you have a furry addition). During the week we are pretty quiet with work, the gym and chilling at home. In the weekends we love going out for meals, heading to the beach and when we move exploring our new city!! Ideally it would be great to be near public transport so we can find our way around when we first arrive before we buy a car. Any questions just let us know!! Also happy to Skype/facetime to meet before we arrive! Thanks:)
Im easy going and chilled, love listening to music and a good Netflix binge now and then and wouldn't pass up a glass of wine over dinner! I do love to keep fit and healthy though, and enjoy getting my meals together on a Sunday. I love being social but I also love chillen out and relaxing just as much as I work at a gym and do many opens a week. I would love to find a place where I can get along with my flatmate and we can become friends and respect each other. would love to hear from anyone who has a room available, Cheers!
Moving to Melbourne from Sydney soon!! Looking for a friendly house share to enhance my Melbourne experience . I am a professional who enjoys the arts. I do not smoke and have no pets.
I'm neat, tidy, considerate, incredibly easy to get along with, respectful, kind natured, mature and I love to talk but also make a great listener. I have a secure casual government job in Southbank with full time hours requiring me to be a people person so I'll be working a lot as well as socialising as much as possible. When I do have spare time, I’m usually out and about seeing my friends and if i’m home i’ll get buried in a tv series marathon, have a few friends over for some drinks, watch Netflix/movies and go out to the movies just to name a few. I'm extremely outgoing in general and love meeting new people, experiencing new things and living in the moment. MY ideal home/housemates would be somewhere I can have my own private space when i need some time out from people, my housemates are respectful of those that have an early start at work in the mornings and won't make too much noise and people who I can occasionally hang out with and watch movies/have a laugh with.
27yo from India, living in Melbourne since 3 years now. Work full time in accounting and also studying accounting. Have been living in share houses since 3 years so I know the importance of cleanliness and privacy. Love socialising with housemates occasionally but also like my own down time. Looking for someone like minded to live with preferably for one year or even more if we get along. Hit me up if you wanna teamup and look for something together or have a room for me in your apartment
I don't party and usually only in Melbourne for 6 out of 12 months a year. I'm open to a lease of at least 6 months to a year and possibly longer. I work between Melbourne and Indonesia as a designer and I have my own business. I'm starting the process of selling my place soon hence the need for the room as I am not around much anyway. When I'm back in Melbourne I'm usually working, going to the gym or meditating at home. I prefer to have my own bathroom but will consider sharing bathroom if the price is reasonable. I am pretty neat and clean. I am a smoker and will only smoke outdoors therefore a balcony or outdoor area is a must. I love animals but I don't have any. Feel free to chat! :)
Hey there, Name's Nicole, I'm 25 years old, a pansexual (lover of people), I have a dog whose name is Nikki (mother named her.....), and we're looking for somewhere to live. I'm super chilled and easygoing, pretty down to earth and I love a good laugh. I enjoy social events and getting loud, but I also love those cool down chilled stay at home with a book or netflix kind of days. I'm clean and respectful of other people things and I'd never touch or use anything without permission to do so. Nikki is pretty much like me, she sleeps most the time but loves to play as much as a young puppy would. She's 10 years old now and going strong! She's getting better at chilling with other dogs but always gets used to them being around her anyway. Cats though..... big no. She'll never like cats. She is house trained and usually listens to the most important commands, but either way, she's the best dog I've ever come across. She would actually be fine in an apartment space, she always lets you know when it's time for her to "go". Working situation.... I am currently self-employed. I privately run a massage business where clients either come to me or I go to them. On top of that I also have another small business making macarons which is outsourced to two different cafe's atm. The max rent I could afford atm would be 200p/w, obviously I'd prefer much less. Any questions, please don't hesitate!
Hi! My name is Raquel (or Rachel!), looking for a room in Melbourne from 26th August! I´m super easy-going, love travelling, talk about social media, innovation and technology. If you have a room for me please send me a message, :) Cheers
I'm an easy going brazilian, very tidy and stuff. I love to chat over a glass or a bottle of wine and really like to cook, but it's nothing that's gonna change your life. I also love to have my own space and really respect others' privacy. I work early in the morning and have classes right after that. I'm gonna stay in Melbourne until December, at least.
Hey legends, I'm an outgoing and fun 19 year old. I pride myself on my character and confident nature. I work at Melbourne Airport and would love to live closer to work. I'm a sports fanatic so you'll often find me at Olympic Park. I enjoy a night out and hanging around with mates. Cheers!
