I'm a chemical engineer from Malaysia, on the lookout for a home in the Melbourne area for myself (1 person) to stay in and work from for at least 3 months from Feb 12, up until October 2017 (given the right rental terms). I recently began my own consultancy to serve clients in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan; and planning to explore and expand my business network in Australia. At home, I'm a husband to another engineer who often works outstation and father of a young boy: I am butler, housekeeper, cook and nanny all rolled into one. Nothing makes me happier than good company - a long good read on a rainy day, a mind-bending film-athon on a lazy weekend or long chats about growing up over tea and biscuits late in the evening. I've plenty of experience sharing living space: a dormitory of 20 attending boarding school in my teens, a shared house of 4 during my A-Levels, a shared house of 6 attending university and later a shared house of 5 when I started my first job. If you're looking for a flatmate to be a sounding board, experiment new ideas (especially cooking) or to lend a hand when you need to, I will not disappoint.
Hello! We are two 23-year old Spanish girls. We both study medicine and are coming to Melbourne on the 12th of February. One of us is staying till the 4th of April and the other till the 23rd of April, approximately. We are interested in renting two single rooms or a twin bedroom. We are respectful and tidy, and we speak English, Spanish and French.
Hey all! I'm a clean, respectful Canadian girl looking to meet great people that would love to have a good time together. I love to cook and I am pretty easy to live with, all I ask is the same respect I'd give to you! I'm super excited to make new friends and share bottles of wine together!
Hello! I'm an undergraduate student from Singapore who will be studying in University Of Melbourne. I'm a 20 year old Chinese guy, fluent in both English and Mandarin. I like music, night life, outdoor activities, almost all kinds of sports, and visit the gym regularly (literally just everything that a "teenager" loves). I'm usually very quiet, but talkative with people i'm close with. My goal is to get really good results in University, while at the same time thoroughly enjoying this overseas studying experience. I'd love to make new friends and learn about cultures different from mine. Hope to have a pleasant experience with you!
Hi there! I'm Lennart and I am a backpacker from Germany. Just having graduated from high school I am traveling through Australia for about seven month. Before I already lived in Perth and I am going to stay in Melbourne for about three month. In my quality time I like to do any kinds of sports: I go for a run or do fitness training on a daily basis.
I'm a 23 year old product designer from the UK. Tidy, considerate and social. Interested in meeting new people. Like chilling out during the week and having the occasional few drinks at the weekend. Huge interest in all types of music. Quite active. I like running and getting out of the city for hikes every once in a while. I also love to cook.
I am an architect and I work full time (9-6 Mon-Fri) in South Melbourne. Currently, I live in Thronbury. I am looking for a house to move closer to work. I'm a very respectful, easygoing, clean and tidy person. I like to keep my environment tidy and clean but I'm not fussy about it. I am pretty busy with work during the week. After work, I usually have dinner and watch or read something before bed. On weekends, I usually like to catch up with friends, go swimming and watch movies. On weekends, I usually cook for the whole week (3-4 vegetarian meals) and I would be more than happy to share some food and a glass of wine with my housemates. Preferably, I'd like to live with housemates who I can call friends in a house that really feels like home. I am looking for respectful housemates who value privacy and personal time.
Hi there :) I'm July, a postgraduate student from China. I will start my studying in the first semester of 2017. I'm now looking for a room near the unimelb. I'm a easy-going person and also enjoy personal space. I'm pretty new here and desire to make some friends. In my spare time, I always watch a movie or go for a swimming. I also like going around at the weekend to find some unique spots and take some photos. Absolute foodie and would like to share delicious Chinese dishes. I'm looking for a private room with sunshine. It would be better if it could hold a double bed. As a reference, I'm a Gemini with Moon and Asc in Leo. Can't wait to embrace the city.
Hi I'm Amanda 21, third-year undergrad at UniMelb. Am looking for a room (not shared). Am easy to live with, respectful, clean, tidy and not a big party person. I enjoy cooking and trying new things. Am usually pretty chill, a bit of an introvert but love a good movie night or a meal and drink whilst having a chat, and going out every now and then. Looking to move in some time during Feb.
Hello, I'm a young hardworking professional from Nigeria. I'm hardworking, intelligent, social and fun to be with. I'm very tidy and clean, and also respects privacy. Hey, I am a 20-year-old student from South Tyrol, Italy. I will live in Melbourne for 5 months as an exchange student at the William Angliss Institute. I am looking not only for a nice room, but also for some nice flatmates I can have fun with. I am a very tidy and responsible person, open for everything new and I love cooking. It would also be very nice to find new friends, with whose I can enjoy my time in Melbourne.
Hi, I'm looking for a room closeish to Southern Cross station (less than 30 mins by foot or tram). I'm a young professional and just migrated from the UK. I'm working full time. I enjoy yoga, taekwondo, reading, walking and kayaking. I'm quite but sociable. I don't drink or smoke. Am very clean and tidy. Hoping to buy my own place soon so need somewhere nice to stay for probably 6 months to one year. Would be nice to have a little after work and not pass like ships in the night, but it's also good to chill out in your own space after a busy day. I enjoy cooking and eat healthily. If the room has a view and access to a indoor pool that would be a huge bonus!
I am a non smoking female, looking for shared accommodation (furnished preferred) in the city or inner suburbs, as I commute most days to CBD for work. Public transport on my door step is essential as I do not have a car to go from A to B. I am seriously considering teaming up to share a lease with an employed professional in my preferred locations (CBD, Docklands, Southbank, Richmond). I am independent and enjoy doing my own thing most of the time but love sharing the occasional meal at night / weekend. A homebody who happens to have an active life outside the home, if that makes sense. I am a social person who enjoys the occasional glass of wine but am not a party animal. I am reliable, neat and tidy, responsible and experienced at sharing / house sitting. Am flexible with dates and terms but ideally looking to move in next March (2017) or earlier if I find the right set up. Just returned from overseas and enjoying what this city has to offer. Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers!
Oh, Hi! I'm a human being that is a fan of Doctor Who and general Science Fiction type things. I'm going to be studying at the VCA and simply need a place to exist in for two ten week blocks at a time between the 5th of march until the 31st of May and the 22nd of July until the 13th of October. Initially I may come across as a bit shy but i'm happy to help out with any odd jobs if needed. I'm also a fan of memes and would be happy to share them with any co-habitator.
Housetrained professional who loves sharing a bottle of wine and a cheese platter over Game of Thrones. Or any other show. Or just because really. I once used my job to secure me and my girlfriends one of the best houses in Byron Bay for cheap rent and no house inspections.
Im extremely easy going, independent and very friendly, Im a student seeking accommodation asap near or in the city. My nationality is Maori & Polynesian and I'm open to meeting and socializing with new friends! I'm into everything whether its quiet, loud, fun or chilled vibes I enjoy anything to everything so dont be afraid to reach out! :) Im in urgent need for accommodation as I'm moving from bendigo so 2 weeks rent advance is all I can afford!? Dont be shy to reach out :') xx
I'm the best. like the perfect flatmate... -Clean and tidy -funny -considerate -Social -professional -other awesome stuff Seriously though. I'm a surveyor and am being transferred to sunny Melbourne for work. I'm looking to flat with a few people who are social but considerate of each others space. i enjoy keeping fit. At the moment i might go 4-5 days a week, however I'm keen to get out there and see what Melbourne has to offer so that may change... lol Finally I will be flying back to Brisbane every second weekend so that might be a good thing depending on how you look at it... Ha!
We are outgoing and sociable British girls in our early twenties. We love a night out and meeting new people as much as we enjoy a chilled night in watching movies. The pair of us are neat and tidy and love to cook! :)
I am quiet, easy going, non drinker, non smoker, independent and eager to help others. I cook my own meals, wash up and clean up after myself. I am looking for a room (preferred private but can share) that's a tram ride from the World Trade Centre where i study Game Programming. I have experience living in a share house with 4 other people. The earliest i can start renting is the 30th Jan 2017, I'm getting a flight to Melbourne that day but I have family or friends i can stay with for a couple of days if its too early to move in. I prefer at least 2 months and up to 2 years length of stay. Contact: mobile
Hey! my name is Elisa and I am from the north of Italy. I would describe me as a very sociable, respectful and openminded person. From February to June 2017 I will do a semester abroad at the William Angliss University. I am searching for an apartment to share with other friendly people which also like to go for a drink together or to have a chat. I am tidy, organised, I value my own personal space and respect others. In my free time I would like to see the most of Melbourne and its surroundings and enjoy the flair of this beautiful city.
I'm relatively neat, enjoy cooking and I'm very easy going. I'm ideally looking for a house mate that I can become friends with, enjoy some meals together but happy to keep to my own if that's preferred. I love my Netflix but also enjoy exploring what the city has to offer.
Hello! My name is Scott Mills, and I am a 20 year old from New Zealand. I have been living in Melbourne since September 2015, previously having lived in Hanoi, Vietnam for the last 4 years. My main reason for moving to Melbourne was to pursue a professional AFL career, and I am currently playing in the VAFA (Victorian Amateur Football Association) for The Collegians, who have their home base at Albert Park, in St Kilda. I am currently working part/full time as a bartender in the city, but throughout the month of January I will be looking to extend to full time hours. I am extremely clean and organized, as I have been living in my own studio apartment in Footscray for the past 12 months. My main reason for moving is to move closer to the city for my job as well as wanting to flat with others. I wholeheartedly enjoy the fantastic night life of Melbourne (as I work in a nightclub), as well as a few quiet beverages during the week. I consider myself gregarious and I lead a very active lifestyle. I have played volleyball, basketball, football, rugby, badminton and gaelic football in the past, and am always looking to broaden my sporting horizons.
Heya! :) I'm Cara, a 20yo science student at Melbourne Uni looking for a place to stay next semester (from late February until mid/late-June 2017). I'm strictly looking for a females-only place with a furnished room. I'm a very neat and tidy person, love to cook, don't own a pet (although am 101% cool with it if you do!) and don't smoke. I'm not much of a party animal - I'll spend most of the time either at Uni or studying in libraries/my room which means I'll pretty much keep to myself, however I'm a bubbly person when I'm around other people - I'm always down for going out for dinner or drinks once in a while! I'm also interested in teaming up with some other girls to start flatsharing! :) Let me know if you think I'm the right person for your place. x
Well I am looking for a place with a good ambience where all the housemates love to chill, share ideas and have a fun time together. I am currently studying Architecture and Film-making at Unimelb and would love to talk about anything in these fields. I like to keep my room clean and tidy and love to watch a lot of movies and TV shows. Always ready to hangout and chill and have a good conversation with. Cheers.
Hi there - currently living in Brighton, but would love to move closer to the more social areas of Melbourne - looking to live with people similar ages to me, who enjoy a glass of wine or a beer occasionally. I am 25, originally from Scotland who moved to Melbourne from London 2 months ago. I work in the city Mon-Fri in consulting! I enjoy cooking, wine, socialising, the gym and relaxing at the weekend!
Hey, I'm Matthew. I'm from Sydney originally, where I worked for Apple. Moved to Melbourne at the start of 2015 for an Acting school which I've now graduated from. I work as courier on the side now which lets me pay bills and keep active. Outside of that I've started Calisthenics training, as well as Dance and Piano lessons. I've lived in share houses since I was 18 and have been privy to good housemates and bad, so you can be sure I'll make a good housemate for you. I clean up immediately after cooking. I'm quiet at home and enjoy my rest and peace. I'm consciencious of the sound I make and my influence on the living space for my housemates. No smokes/drinks/drugs. Not a racist. No prejudices. I'm a grown up. Financially responsible | I will always have rent paid on time. I'm honest. If I break it, I'll tell you and repair/replace it. Cool with any pets. Friendly. I'm Vegan | I don't sweat what you eat or how you live. Not thrown by any sights or smells. Grown up.

Hello! I'm looking for a room to rent for about 3 months while i finish my working holiday visa. I'm working full time at a hotel in the CBD, and now looking to get out of a hostel. I'm laid back and friendly, tend to keep to myself but I'm always up for a night out or a movie night in :)
I am a 19 year old girl on a working holiday visa from sweden. I am clean and tidy, and even though i love to sit and talk and share some time together, I also know the importance of alone time. I am always up for an adventure, no matter if its a road trip or a trip to the local pizzeria. I am a vegetarian and i love to cook, so a nice kitchen is a big bonus to me.
As a full time art student i will be out of the house for most of the week during the day. Generally speaking i'm tidy, and clean up after myself, and would be happy to stay with others given that they are friendly and accepting of my nocturnal habits and adoration for dogs! Im a big game and movie buff, but i have a full time sleeping job on weekends.
I'm clean, easy going and I like to cook. Looking for something cheap near the city, don't need much space, location is more important to me than anything.
Hi! I'm Kara, I work full time in the city so am out for most of the day but in my spare time I enjoy writing and am currently teaching myself Japanese. I am a social drinker and enjoy a good convo on a Friday night with movies but am also respectful of other people's lives and want for privacy. I also have a two year old cat named Moka who is a very friendly inside cat.
I am a fun, and friendly person to live with! I love to cook and clean, and although I tend to be quiet during the week I like to go out for a g&t at the weekend with friends. I'm a big film freak, and if I'm not at home watching movies I love visiting the galleries and museums around Melbourne. I am returning to Melbourne in January 2017 after spending Christmas at home in the UK, and will be working full-time at Southern Autistic School from 27th January. I'll be in Melbourne until August 2017, when I'll be heading back to the UK to complete a doctorate in Educational Psychology.
