We like our privacy and your, but in the same time have a chat or a drink in the free time even if don’t have much, honestly. We’re very respectful of the other space as we like to see the same for our. Clean and tidy.
Full-time PhD student and part time researcher at the University of Melbourne. Lives life to the full and believes in a good work-life balance. Love exercising and the outdoors. Very social so it is important for me to live somewhere inclusive with a good family type vibe, where everyone feels comfortable hanging out in communal areas together (apart from when some time alone is needed of course). Looking to rent from 21st January onwards - I will be moving from Ireland so will not be able to view before then.
I’m a very creative, kind individual. I work at a University full time. I love to cook and enjoy a glass of wine with friends. I have travelled all over the world both for work and personally (I have a huge passion for the arts, particularly ceramics and painting). Relocating to Melbourne I prefer a contemporary minimalist environment and a spare room for when friends and family visit.
Moving back from tasmania. Just two mates, so needing TWO separate rooms or a full house 😊😊😊 excellent references
Hey! I'm currently living by myself in South Yarra paying $420 a week, however being hardly home I thought that's a waste and give Flatmates a go and save for a decent overseas trip. I'm looking to move in January or February, however I'm open to whenever if the right places comes along. What you see is what you get with me.. no nasty surprises! I'm a full time train driver, so you can be assured all bills are paid on time or well in advance. Between work, family, friends, footy and athletics you'd find I'm not home a lot, but when I am I'm clean, quiet and respectful of your space! Having said that I'm social and will fit right in and constantly bringing home beer, wine, chocolate or washing powder I'm sure you'll be glad you've chosen me.

I can cook, clean and help keep the house tidy! I consider my self as a person who is constantly evolving and I do my best to observe my actions/thinking in order to become the best possible version of me. My name is Isabel, I'm currently an Australian student living in Japan and I plan to continue studying in Melbourne from March. I'm originally from Hobart, and I'm moving to study a Masters of International Relations at UniMelb, with a heavy swing of interest towards international studies and climate policy. I've lived in a share house for almost two years, so I've gotten pretty used to the process and I've really grown to love mutual respect. I think it's important to keep the conversation open if there's any issue, so I prefer when people are straightforward with me and you don't have to be afraid of telling me if something's bothering you (just be polite about it). I'm relatively study-focused but I love a good chat with a sneaky bevvie from time to time, so I'd love a place that has laidback and friendly people that still know how to respect each other's space. I like music, movies, cooking and reading, and though I tend to closet myself in my room while I'm working on something important I like company when there's nothing on for me. This includes when I potato-out binging a new show and don't move for a solid 4 hours. I'd especially appreciate some people willing to take me out places every so often since I've never lived in Melbourne before, but I get it if you're not into being a tour guide and just want someone you can get along with to fill the space in your home. I plan on working part-time as soon as I hit Melbourne, ideally something administrative but I'll take what I can get so you can rest assured I have an income. Lastly, ideally I'd like a place close to the city. I'm on a budget but I'm willing to make some sacrifices if it means I don't need to go on public transport for 2+ hours. The opportunity to inherit/buy and furniture would be a great bonus, and I'd also appreciate a car space but it's not essential for me. I'm happy to move in anywhere in late February up til the first week of March - I'm pretty flexible with this, so just ask if you have a question :) Let me know if I sound like the kind of person you'd be happy to have around, and thanks for your time! Isabel (Message only please - I'm still overseas and we can save ourselves the international call fees! Let me know if you'd like to use WhatsApp or anything though.)
21 year old full time worker on a rotating roster. Fairly quiet but will open up once I'm comfortable. Big into movies, music, writing, and falling off my skateboard a little too much.
Hello! I'm a 29 yr old female from Helsinki Finland. I arrived in Melbourne 3 months ago and am currently looking for a private room in a share house. I'm very tidy, easy to live with, independent and respectful of other peoples privacy, but always up for a glass of wine or cooking together :) I'm a non-smoker and I love the outdoors, travelling, exploring etc. Would love to find flatmates who share similar qualities / interests! Open to staying between 1-2 months. Feel free to contact me if you think it could be the right fit or you need more information :)
I'm one of those guys in the mall who have way to much energy, a contagious smile and are constantly bugging you to change you over to an electric company. I'm a cheery energetic guy, moved down from the Gold Coast about a month ago, looking for a long term stay, always down for a chat, a boogie, a glass of red or twelve... I love to cook, travel, hike and stay active in any way possible.
I'm pretty easy going, sociable and friendly. I've been in Melbourne for just over 2 weeks now after being offered a job over here. I'm English from Birmingham. I work full time so during the week im rarely in the house. Looking for a house share where i can meet new people and get to know Melbourne better. I have a car which is quite big(Toyota Hilux) so will need some decent enough parking included. I'm clean, tidy and very organised and will pay all bills ontime/early if needed. Willing to increase my budget for the right place
Hi, I’m Sophie and I’m a student who works a lot. I’m currently looking for a place to live where I can continue to enjoy this awesome city! I’m very experienced in the whole housemate situation, having done it for around 7 years. I’m super chilled out, love food and eating out, watching Netflix/Stan and going to the gym. I’d say my best attribute is my ability to sleep through the apocalypse; so perfect for anyone who is a shift worker. You could basically have a house party and I wouldn’t stir. I spend a lot of time out because of my busy shedule, but love coming home to hang out either on my own, or having a cheeky drink or cup of tea with housemates. I work on a 32 hour contract min, but usually more, so I’m always able to pay rent/bills on time and have never had any issues. I, like any decent housemate, like to keep communal spaces clean but don’t care how people keep their own spaces. I’m looking for a place I can feel at home in with someone who is relaxed and won’t mind an occasional friend coming over. Also hoping for a long term arrangement as moving is a massive pain and I hate realising how much junk I’ve accumulated every time. Preferably somewhere that has no more than 2/3 others as I’m looking to move somewhere with a few less people than my current situation, as much as I absolutely adore where I live right now in the heart of North Melbourne. Looking to move sometime in early or late March, but I’m really flexible as I currently have a place to live and it’s just a matter of replacing myself. Let me know if you have any questions at all as I’m an open book!
Howdy! I'm a graduate coming from finishing my Masters in Media at RMIT as recent as October 2018. I dabble with work in the sphere of Performing & Screen Arts. Have lived in scenic and breathtaking New Zealand for about 4 years prior to my two years here in beautiful Melbourne. Have worked in India and New Zealand briefly in the respective film industries... So if you're a cinephile too, then we will get along like a house on fire! Hit me up if you're the kind that likes to binge watch Netflix and talk about Groucho Marx, Ricky Gervais, Kamasi Washington and the indomitable Fat Freddy's Drop. Oh also, I work part-time at a film distribution company so I'm your best bet to score some free tickets to film festivals. ;)
