Hey everyone, my lease is up in mid-jan so I'm looking for a new place to live with some lovely creatively inclined people. I'm an ex-art history student taking a gap year to work and hopefully take off travelling again before starting screenwriting in 2018. I work full time (ish) and spend the rest of my time on theatre projects, yoga, reading art biographies and crime novels obsessively and singing tragically along to 60's folk music. I've been in a few sharehouses before and am pretty tidy and respectful of all common areas. I value my alone time but would love housemates who are up for the odd bevvie. I love to cook and bake experimentally so you can reap the occasional rewards :) Looking for a place ideally with a garden as a year in boxy student accomodation has given me cabin fever, but chill with whatever 👍
Hi there! I'm a student looking for somewhere to live next year whilst I study a Bachelor of Environments at Melbourne university, majoring in Architecture and Urban Planning & Design. I both work and study, so you can rely on me to be committed to monthly rent payments. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, reading, drawing things that aren't buildings and cities, and playing my guitar (acoustic, don't worry!). Ideally would like to move in before the commencement of the 2017 study year (just before the beginning of March) , and stay until the conclusion of my exams, however am flexible on the length of stay beyond 9 months. If you have something that you think would meet this criteria, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks, Laura

My hobbies are writing poetry, reading books and articles online. I am basically a quiet person and I am looking for a room to either share or stay privately for at least a period of six months. Well I'm an outgoing, friendly and reliable person. Above anything you would always find me clean and tidy. I am a music enthusiast who enjoys a good company, travel/exploration and jam sessions. My interest also includes fitness, attending live gigs, short adventures, etc. When it comes to other people, I understand the concept of personal space/privacy and expect the others to understand it as well. I also enjoy cooking and binge-watching Netflix on weekends or free days. In short, I'm considerate and supportive for the people who've always been a helping hand. Also, there will be no issues on my end when it comes to rent, bills and payment. I'm looking forward to stay somewhere long term. Please feel free to contact me. Cheers!
Two 23 year old females looking for a fun house/flat share! Both been travelling together for just over two months through south east Asia and are now coming to Melbourne on a working visa! Previously one was a primary school teacher and the other worked in the events industry. Both extremely socialable, outgoing and originally from London. Also very easy going and get along with everyone. Pride ourselves on being neat and tidy housemates.
Hey I'm Sarah, I'm a 28 year old working full time (8:30-6ish) in the creative industry. Currently live alone but wanting to get into a more spacious flat/house so i don't have to drink wine alone (and can finally get a hammock)! Fairly social but also love my me-time. Things of importance to me include: brunch, roadtrips, the ocean, netflix, live music & jalepenos.
Hi, i'm Clothilde, i'm french, I have just arrived on melbourne and I am looking for a nice roommate. I am jovial, respectful and organized. I like going out, dancing, meeting new people and cooking.
Hi guys ! Manami is from Japan and I am originally from France. We used to live in Tokyo and work there as a financial accountant (her) and a public high school teacher (me) but we decided to take a break away from Japan and to move to Melbourne to live and work there for about a year. We are very clean, tidy, always eager to help if you need anything and we are a very friendly and sociable couple. We have no problem living in our own space and doing our own things but we are always more than happy to spend some time chatting, sharing beers or a bottle of wine or going out for dinner. We love to cook (especially French and Japanese food), watch TV shows (if you're looking for people to watch the next season of Game of Thrones with, you just found them!), go out to try new restaurants, bike around the city or just relax. If possible, we would like to leave in a central area of Melbourne so we can ride our bicycles anywhere from there. Our ideal budget would be 300 AUD but if your place is really nice and well located, we are ready to go up to 350 AUD. We would like to move in this month but we are flexible with dates. If you would like us to be your new roommates or if you have any question, please feel free to contact us. Cheers ! Vince and Manami

Hey guys! I'm Alex, from qld I'm a pretty chill dude, looking for a house with awesome people in it so as I can fully envelop myself into Melbourne and all its wonders! I'm working part time at a hotel in the city, looking to start studying next year. I'm pretty friendly, clean, respectful and I like to think I'm funny but I can never really tell... I really love music, fashion and exploring new places! Ps. Down to get jiggy
Hi I'm Rob, originally from NZ, been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the events industry. Just finished up with the Melbourne Marathon and now moving on to the World Cup of Golf for the next few months. I like to keep healthy and try to get out mountain biking a few times a week. Grew up with 3 sisters so very much house trained, friendly and considerate of others. Have a fairly busy life from work, but always try to have a catch up when i have the time. Happy to live with quiet or sociable people, have lived with both before and get along great with either. Love animal's but don't have any myself
I have been living independently since my mid teens so I understand the responsibility of keeping a home clean and making sure the bills/rent are paid on time. I'm not one to shy away from chores and you won't find my belongings all over the place. I am a bit of an introvert so I like to keep to myself most of the time, but I do like to be social on the weekend and enjoy having a good chat. I have recently had to leave work to become a full time carer of my niece but now that has all been worked out, I am looking to get a job and continue my studies in a more mature, like-minded environment. I enjoy art (you can find me pretty much constantly taking photos, drawing or drafting up mood boards), I like old cinema and indie films, I enjoy 'wine nights' with my friends and going to off the wall cafes and bars though it's rare these days, and I love animals.
Katie here! I work Mon-Fri 9-5 in the skincare industry in Richmond. I try to keep fit and healthy and hit the gym a few times a week, but life is all about balance so I also eat many a burger and drink many a beer on the weekends. Party days are over but I am always up for a tipple at the local. Looking for a share house with likeminded people who are clean, fun and happy. I've done my dash with housemates who are needy and require daily counselling. I am ok with apartments, provided the bedrooms are spacious and it doesn't feel like a box in the sky. Would ideally love a house with a yard of some kind. Looking for a long term place to call home with awesome people to call friends. I have lived in share houses before and am very house trained. Katie x ***Please don't message me if your place doesn't fit my desired description above***
I am looking for a place to rent in the Southern suburbs of Melbourne with easy access to the CBD, I am interested in either renting a private room or starting a share house with somebody. I have lived in share-houses for the past 3 years so sharing a space is not a problem. I work in the CBD as a travel agent and also study 2 days per week in the CBD. Paying rent and bills on time is never a problem. Please feel free to contact me if you have something available or would be interested in renting a place together and we can go and grab a beer or some dumplings ;)
I'm currently studying nursing and work part time most mornings and afternoons. I'm looking for a tidy and clean place . I'm pretty easygoing and enjoy the occasional chat but also understand personal space .
We are a super friendly, respectable and clean couple looking for a sharehouse to call home for the next 6-12 and maybe more months. Jodie works during the day and enjoys relaxing when at home. She loves to cook good food and bakes delicious desserts. Casey works during the evening and is usually out and about during the day enjoying the sunshine and skateboarding. We know the drill when it comes to living with others, we clean up after ourselves and respect people's need for privacy but are happy for a chat and some dinners together.
We're two Canadian girls here on a WHV, we love touring the city on our off time and just looking for a place to stay in the mean time :) we're clean and tidy, will be working so not overly noisy in the evenings, easy going and friendly! Looking for a furnished room for the two of us!
I'm not a stereotypical drunken Scotsman. Well, I do love a drink but that's not the point. Seriously though, I'm in Melbourne as a backpacker and since my friends are all leaving (it's not me, honest!) I need somewhere to stay with some awesome people. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others and a trustworthy person. I'm not as boring as I make myself sound though; I'm sociable and love a laugh and good conversation. At the end of the day I'm a very laid back person who you'll have no bother getting on with!
We are an outgoing couple from Scotland who love to socialise, travel and meet new people. We are both on working holiday visas. I, Olivia am working as a waitress and my partner Robert is a professional chef (who loves cooking a good family meal ;)). We are both in our early twenties and looking for a modern house with easy going, clean flatmates. Ideal location would be CBD, Carlton, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond, Southbank, South Yarra or Prahran (open to options). We move out our current flat in Richmond on 2nd January 2017 and REALLY dont want to go back into a hostel. :)
My name is Sol, I'm 26 years old and work hospo. I work a lot, and go out a fair bit but I would love to find a home where I can spend time with my flatmates cooking, drinking of binging a show on Netflix. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Age is only a number but I would like to live with mature people that can take care of themselves and the house. A part from that, I'll be happy with anyone. I'm pretty tidy, clean and quiet. I've been living in Melbourne since 2012 and intend to stay, I'm after a long term accommodation and would rather not changing flatmate every month. I'm not really good at describing myself but message me if you want to know more.
My home is like my haven. I love to relax, chill out, and keep a loving, peaceful space. I'm from London, and have come to Melbourne for the summer to see if I potentially want to live here.. (Very exciting). I'd love to find a place near the botanical gardens and the ocean if possible, and share with someone who doesn't mind my slightlyobsessive love of meditation, yoga and good energy :)
20 year old interested in moving from the surf coast to Melbourne (preferably south Yarra area). I am currently studying commerce at Deakin and will be transferring to the Burwood campus. I have been told i am pretty easy going love spending time with people but also really enjoying hanging out by myself. I both work and study so i will be very reliable when it comes to rental payments. Ideally looking to move in sometime before the commencement of the uni year (early - mid feb).
I'm currently looking for a share house while I work (in hospitality) and do my masters (writing a thesis about Overwatch). I'm pretty social but am also happy to spend time chilling by myself. I'm very into video games but also enjoy binge watching Netflix shows. Also i'm vegan but I'm real chill about it.

Hey, I'm Jodie- I'm looking for a room, or happy to team up with others, for long-term stay or anything over 6months. I'm working full time as an accountant in the CBD, looking for anything that is close to public transport. I'm really easy-going, clean/tidy, respectful of others' personal space etc.. Ideally I would like to live with people with whom I can socialise with on the odd occasion, but keep things fairly low-key during the week. Feel free to message me on here or via text for more info :) Cheers

Hi! I'm an easygoing and social girl from Finland. I'm coming to Melbourne in January and searching for a furnished room to rent in a lively neighborhood. I'm ready to move in the beginning of February. Although I'm excited to share the place with other cool people I'd like to have my personal space, own room. I'm willing to check the places before making any contracts. As I'm not sure yet how long I'm going to stay in the city, I can't make leases longer than 4-6 months :) How am I as a flatmate then? I always clean after myself and I hope you do as well. I follow the house rules and keep my promises. I appreciate everyones own space. I like going out and be active, so I probably will be out of the house often. Also I won't mind dining and hanging out with my new nice flat mates! Overall I'm a fun and trustworthy person to live with :)
I am an IT professional currently based in Belgium but very excited for an upcoming permanent move to Melbourne in February. I am organized, clean and very respectful. I could be introverted or extroverted depending on the company. My primary interests outside work are traveling and photography.

Hi! I'm looking to relocate to Melbourne in early-mid 2017 for a gap year (or two) before going into Uni, and i'm just saving up in the meantime. I'm really into comics, anime, games and writing- but I also like social/music events, just socializing and messing around outdoors. I'd prefer a place with chilled out and open-minded people, and while I do value my own time alot i'd definitely be down to spend time with housemates including going out or having movie nights and things like that. Looking for a somewhat lengthy stay so I don't have to be constantly moving around and to feel established somewhere. Budget, suburbs, and move date etc are all just close estimates as most of it will change by the time I move- which should be around March but i'm just starting to look early. :)
Hey guys, my name is Julia. I just moved to the big smoke from the lovely Gold Coast thismorning. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and now I am here! Life is good. I am looking for a room in north Melbourne, no further than Coburg. I'm cool with a big house with lots of rooms or somewhere small. I have a cat named Sage. She's an inside girl, low energy and is desexed and twelve years old. She spends most of her time sleeping. I'd love for her to feel safe and at home where we go. I'm an artist who is looking forward to all of the creative opportunities Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a 9-5er. Hit me a message because my hearing is crap (ish). I am super friendly, relaxed, accepting, open minded and LGBT friendly. It could be rad. 😊
I'm easy to live with, very quiet, not a party man (not drinking nor smoking). I'm not intrusive at all. Respect your privacy! I practice ahletics (I'm a sprinter). I love reading and educating myself.
Hi I'm Cam. I'm 33 and working full time for a supermarket. I'm constantly buying too much food so anything you want is up for grabs. I have a 7yo kelpie x border collie who is great with people and other dogs. I'm looking for someone who loves a to swap a story over a few drinks. I'm moving from a fully furnished place so if there is anything your place needs just let me know.
I am new to Melbourne and will be working full-time come January. I have previously lived in Bangkok and Singapore. I'm a very clean, tidy, and easygoing housemate who enjoys spending time at home watching TV shows and cooking light meals. I like my home to be a place to unwind and relax rather than a party place. Looking for like-minded housemates who can make home a fun place to live, hangout with, yet are mindful of each others' privacy. Also great if you're happy to explore Melbourne with me! :) x
I am a fun, friendly and tidy 23 yd girl. I enjoy making friends and having adventures but at the same time respect privacy of others. I love dogs, although I don't have one!:(( I will be studying in University of Melbourne full-time. So need a house in suburbs near to the university. I don't smoke.
Hi, I'm Clint, I'm 28 and I am looking for a place to live. I'm fairly flexible in terms of location as long as it's easy enough to get into the city for work. I'm looking for a fairly social house - hopefully nothing too crazy/hectic though. About me: I'm easygoing, friendly and considerate. I enjoy watching / playing most sports and don’t mind a social drink or two. I’ve lived in a few different flat shares so know what's expected, what makes a good housemate and what makes a shit housemate. If you think you have something suitable please let me know! Thanks. Clint.
Hey, I'm a primary school teacher who likes travel and dancing. I like to think I'm pretty normal, easy going, friendly and intelligent 🤓. Originally from country Victoria, I have lived in Melbourne on and off for about 5 years, with a stint living in Munich in between. I live in Hawthorn right now but my place has been sold so am currently in the process of renting a 2 bedroom place in Hawthorn again or potentially in Toorak or South Yarra. I'm looking for a light, bright apartment ideally with floorboards, a dishwasher and a balcony with 1 or 2 bathrooms. I'm ideally looking for someone who will share long term and co-sign a lease. If this all sounds compatible with you please send a message through. Rebecca
