I am a easy going person who wants to look for a job in Melbourne. I like to do different things if we go out and eat something and talk in a bar by some drinks, make party or just chill in the house with a pizza and Netflix, I am happy with everything. I am tidy and clean and I would love to make some new friends.
Hi, my name is Jantina, I came to Melbourne a few years ago (originally from The Netherlands) and am 34. I am a social worker and work full-time. I enjoy playing tennis, reading, binging on Netflix and travelling. I am a very relaxed person, sociable, love having a drink and a chat every now and then, and am clean and tidy. Currently looking to relocate, closer to work, and preferably closer to the beach. Hope to hear from you.
Hi There, I've just been advised i have two weeks to vacate so am on the lookout for a unfurnished room close to the CBD with some pretty cool people. Im a coordinator for a construction company working standard weekly office hours mon - fri and some Saturdays. I love the outdoors including surfing, golf and camping and also love all things music including the occasional festival and gig. I will definitely be making the most of being in Melbourne to check out many music venues around. Looking for easy access to the city as i recently sold my car. Im quite clean and very easy going, help out around the house and enjoy going out for a beer or dinner from time to time. I have to be out by the 10th of October but can move in earlier or slightly later if required. Also open to weekly rent from $150 to ~$250. Hopefully I seem like someone you like to live with and i hear from you soon !
I keep to myself mainly but if I find housemates that I click with, I'd love to be more social and have drinks in front of the TV together :) I'm clean, respectful of other people, considerate and a domestic goddess in the kitchen (free food for you)... In the process of relocating to Melbourne from Perth. Waiting until I get a job but at this stage it's looking like I'll be there in the next 4-8 weeks. I've put "6 months" as my preferred lease term but of course open to a longer term if I can find some awesome housemates :)
We are a laid back couple from Sweden who just moved to Melbourne and have start working. We like to stay healthy and active but we also like to go out for a beer on weekends.
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. Turned 30 this year and looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and relocate to Melbourne. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. Completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socializing with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself. Not a precious princess about things and am really adverse to passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside if you're not, as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a huge party animal, though I do enjoy occasionally having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking / having a friend round when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always easier for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move ASAP soon as I find something. Let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
We are a couple, Carla from Argentina and Stephane from France. Recently moved to Melbourne after travelling round New Zealand for a few months. We are with a Working Holiday Visa, currently looking for a job in Hospitality to stay at least 4 months. We want a room in a shared flat or house, with a big bed for both. We are looking for a nice place to chill out through the week, with people who are keen to have a drink or just watch a movie. We are both outgoing people and willing to give most things a go. Stephane has a degree in Gastronomy and loves cooking. He plays basketball but interested in any sports. Carla has a degree in Communication and she is also interested in photography.
Hi there! I'm Hayley and I'm currently 21 years old. I've just recently completed my Accounting degree at university in Western Sydney but moving to Melbourne in January 2018 to commence full-time employment with NBN Co. Since May 2016, I've been living in a granny flat so I am familiar with bill management and always manage to keep the house tidy. I am more than happy to chip in and help out where needed I tend to keep to myself and often entertain myself by watching Netflix, playing Xbox, reading a book or going to live music gigs. I also love to travel and have been around Australia multiple times as well as the US twice (3rd trip booked in November '17). That being said, I am a very bubbly person and always up for a chat, a night out or even just a night in with my flatmates if you're up for it. I do not smoke nor have any pets but have no problems if flatmates do. I am very clean and organised and looking forward to starting a new chapter of my life in Melbourne!
Hello, We are Lauren and Adam an Irish couple looking for somewhere to live as close as possible to the city centre. We are very easy going and friendly! Although we like to socialise and have a drink now and again we are not party animals and are very respectful. We would ideally like to move in somewhere until mid December. If you have any other questions please ask. Many thanks, Lauren and Adam
We have just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa and are looking for a room in a shared house with like-minded individuals! My name is Chloe, I am English and Italian and have lived in France most of my life, and my boyfriend is Danny, he's from England and makes youtube videos. We're both 23 and are very friendly people, easy-going and fun but also respectful and clean - we'd make great roommates! :D We plan to find a full-time job and are in the process of looking for one now.
My name is Ellie, I've just returned to Australia after living in Berlin for a year and now have a job working at a new cultural centre in Narre Warren. I lived in Melbourne for 5 years before then and look forward to settling back into the city again! I'm 31 and have lived in share houses since I was 19, I'm very respectful, tidy and friendly. I love being social, but also am very relaxed and independent. One of my interests/hobbies is music, I play a bit of acoustic guitar and keyboard (with headphones usually) and love going to gigs, the pub and brunch.
I'm a single, bubbly professional in my late twenties. I work as a lawyer (don't hold that against me) in civil litigation. Needless to say, i'm responsible and considerate. Move time negotiable. In terms of lifestyle, I enjoy the occasional mid week drink however for the most part, i'm pretty chilled as I work semi long hours and gym. My social life is pretty packed and in the weekends, I enjoy beaching, brunching, shopping and am often at friends places or bars on Chapel. I also have some furniture including a designer dining table and chairs, stainless steel fridge, art, outside table and chairs and much more which I am willing to furnish a place with or sell.
Philippine born and British raised. Laidback guy, non invasive, speak when spoken to kinda guy who's always up for a new experience. Wash up my plate after i use it kinda bloke, often found guilty of leaving the pan til the next day cuz im a twat, will work on this <3, overall not a messy guy and i don't clean up other peoples mess cuz i just aint that kinda dude XD HOWEVER, I will always be found guilty of my "organized chaos" of clothes in a corner of my room. Came to Melbourne to experience city life having lived in a small town all my life, anything out doorsy? gimme a shout and ill be down for it (forcing myself to leave the house more since iv "wasted" alot of my time as a youth on the computer) I've been travelling on and off for 4 years, visiting over 12 different countries in that time if you want i can regale you with my stories and would love vice versa. I like language and words and am really wanting to learn Spanish and/or Mandarin, I gym and am looking into taking part in some some football ("soccer" not this confusing AFL) or basketball activities since i used to be good at them before i became hooked on Warcraft and Runescape (and the ps2, ps3, xbox, the 360, ps4 and the most recent League of Legends) Always up for a drink on friday, not so much in the week due to work and trying to focus on saving money but if its a worth night then might be able to twist my arm :).
Hello everybody! I'm Nick, I'm a musical performer and singer. At the moment I'm working in a comedy show in Melbourne and sometimes in Sydney. I need a share accomodation or private as well and hope to find great flatmates. Thank you in advance guys!
Hi! I'm Morgan. Im currently working full time and studying. I live quite a busy and active lifestyle but do enjoy my down time with a wine and a good chat. I love good food and exploring new areas so would love to find some like minded people that can enjoy either a night in watching movies with a feast or the occasional night out having a couple of drinks and sharing delicious food!
I'm a 22 year old (gay) guy, working full time in the CBD as a software developer. I like to spend my downtime either going out with friends with friends or catching up on shows and video games. I'm very laid back and wouldn't mind hanging out and getting to know my housemates, but also equally enjoy just doing my own thing and respecting each other's space. I'm not a complete neat-freak but I do like to keep things tidy, and hoping for similar. Move in date are flexible, I just need a few weeks notice. Stay duration also flexible, but preferably something between 5-12 months. Anyways, let's have a chat if you want to know more!
Hi I'm Lauren. I'm 28 and work full time in retail management. I am an easy going and considerate person and value cleanliness. I love exploring new restaurants and bars, dancing and the occasional wine at home but also value my own space. I have been living in St Kilda East for the past 3 years. I am looking for a new place to move into or like minded people to team up with to find a new place in a similar area.
British guy (via Auckland) new to Melbourne. Looking for a social house. I'm keen on sports so will either be out training, out eating, at home eating or drinking tea. Decent housemate in my humble opinion, clean, tidy and quiet when needed. Financially sound (accountant by trade - but not too boring!)
