I am a 27 years old PhD student at RMIT from Egypt. Usually I am busy on week days with my work at the university and go out with my friends on the weekend. I am quite and like to socialize but I respect privacy as well. I am tidy and organized and happy to share house chores. Prefer to live with a female.
My name is Bel. I'm 23 years old and work in hospitality full time. The restaurant I work at is situated in Windsor and is a groovy Vietnamese fusion place. I enjoy a good giggle, I love to be social and I can be super spontaneous. At the same time I also enjoy alone time. I have a super rad collection of tea and am obsessed with tiki bars and summer fruits. I have a beautiful, fat cat named Russia who loves cuddles and affection. I'm originally from Tasmania but love it here so much that I've been living in Melbourne for 5 years. I'm a clean person especially in common areas, and love to buy flowers for the house every once in a while.
Clean enough not leave the place looking like a brothel, chilled enough not to freak out about dishes in the sink. Chef, without the craziness Keep to myself mostly, but always keen to hang out Happy person, looking for other positive people Don't do drugs, occasionally have a cigarette (not inside of course) Would prefer younger people Pianist & artist (Who's not going to play piano at 3am when you're trying to sleep) Sensible, chilled and understanding
I just moved to Melbourne a few days ago and am looking for something long term. A little more about myself- I'm a 21 yr old female from India. I'm here in Melbourne doing Masters in Communications at Monash University, Caufield. I am a fun, very adaptable and an easy going person. I love to read, have a soft corner for songs from the 80s, love running. I'm a really friendly and social person however I equally love my own space. My favourite thing to do is to laze around and watch Netflix. I love to travel and I'm always up for a new adventure. I've never lived in a share house before but I was in boarding school for 8 years of my life so trust me I know how to keep everything around me clean and live with different kinds of people. I'm flexible with move in dates but am looking to move in as soon as possible. If there is anything else you'd like to know about me feel free to contact meLet me know when I could come to see the house and meet the people at the house too! Thanks and hope to hear from you soon! Have a great day😊
After moving out of home at the age of 15 I have had to grow up fast and I have been living by myself ever since then. Currently renting a studio apartment in St. Kilda and the lease ends on the 1st of March, so I'm looking at moving into somewhere ASAP. I am a hard working 23 year old Australian Male, I work Full Time as a Manager at the Thirsty Camel bottle shop on Chapel street, near the corner of Chapel/Dandenong Road. I look forward to hearing from you :) Thank you, Luke
Hi! My name is Miki and I am from Tokyo, currently on a working holiday visa. I started living in shared housing in university and have never stopped since! I have lived in university dorms, shared flats, and most recently a 30 person share house in Tokyo. I've really enjoyed the balance of having a room to myself while always having the option to talk to someone after a long day, instead of just coming home to an empty apartment. I enjoy hiking and other outdoor pursuits, baking, playing cards and board games, and finding fun things to do around the city (especially if they are free!).
Lawyer from Israel. working holiday for one year in oz, want to live in melbs for few months. locking to live with one or two people, each has its own room. Gets along easily with people, like to do and watch sport and to go out.
I am a mature professional and traveller. I like my home to be my sanctuary. I am clean and tidy and very respectful of personal space. I enjoy a chat and a glass of wine. Watching a bit of TV. I generally socialise out of the house. I like the gym, yoga, film and food.
Easy going Brit, usual stuff: 1. Tidy (but not anal) 2. Respectful (I won't eat your cheese out the fridge) 3. Sociable (loves to chat, drink and sometimes cook with housemates, and other friends too) I've been in Melbourne only 6 weeks (I have residency here so I'm staying here indefinitely). I have a Monday to Friday office job so weeknights are very chilled but on the weekend I'll be out & about and usually up for a party. I'm not big into sports, I'm a meat eater but also really like veggie food, love everything to do with food in fact, love beer and going to the pub or beach, love to travel, love trying new things, definitely not racist and don't care if you're gay or straight, not one to stay in my room all day (unless I have a hellish hangover that is!) Anything else you want to know, just ask!
Hi I am Paola, currently working and studying. Looking for a nice and clean place that I can call home. I am very easy going, enjoy having a meal or a drink but also respect privacy.
I'm 20 and currently studying bcom at monash. I'm tidy, responsible but pretty sociable. Having said that, I appreciate quietness around the house when I need to hit the books but looking for a friendly housemate who can try different restaurants with me and have a good chat :)
Hey I'm Chris, I recently graduated uni at the end of 2016 and landed a job as an engineer in Kew. I currently live on the Mornington Peninsula and the trek to Kew is killing me and I would just generally like a change of lifestyle as well! I'm a fun, outgoing person but also enjoy my own down time. I'm clean, friendly and live a healthy active lifestyle. I go to the gym 3-4 days a week and (try) to eat healthy! I enjoy going to the beach, bars, socialising, meeting new people. I have lived out of home before overseas for 6 months in 2016, so I am not new to this. I would hope to also make a good new friendship with my housemate(s) at the end of the day!
I'm a user experience designer who has just transferred to Melbourne from Wellington NZ, looking to live south of the Yarra and east of the lake! Super easy going, clean/tidy, respectful and social. Love to cook with fresh market produce, and make the most of the weekends while keeping a pretty good work/gym routine during the week. Love a good wine and cheese night!
I'm a great cook, loves to share food with others! Sociable and chatty, but like time to myself too and am pretty quiet. Between uni, sports, work and studying I usually keep myself busy throughout the week and weekend. Look forward to meeting you soon!

Hiya I'm a gal from England currently on exchange for a year studying at Monash university. I've been here for one semester where I stayed at halls but am looking to move into the city to be closer to shops and bars. I'm really sociable and love going out for drinks and meals but my days will mostly be spent at uni and studying. I'm clean and am more then happy to share cleaning responsibilities around the place :)
Hi! My name is Stacey, I'm 31 and work full time Mon-Fri 9-5.30 in the finance industry. I am tidy, respectful and fun! Enjoy keeping fit, going to the beach, going to new restaurants/ cafes, cooking for friends and family, seeing movies, watching plays, checking out markets. During the week I try to head to the gym a few times after work, or watch a DVD on the couch. On weekends just enjoy catching up with friends, enjoy socialising, a wine or two, travelling is a passion of mine! I am independent, very reliable and easy to get along with :) flexible with moving date!
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Canterbury in Christchurch with a bachelor of arts majoring in media and communications. I have 22 years life experience under my belt, and have been flatting for the past 4 years. I know how to keep a place extremely tidy, while also having a good time! I'm chill as, easy to get along with, and a big sports nut. I currently play cricket and a bit of social basketball, albeit terribly! I have decided to move to Melbourne to work, meet new people and experience a change of scenery. I leave good ol' NZ on the 8th of March and am planning to air bnb it for a little bit, unless I find a flat sooner than expected!
Easy going, friendly, clean. I'm a full time data analyst, enjoy watching and playing basketball, love a good pub trivia night and don't mind sharing cooking
Hi, my name is Fiona and I'm a 24 year old law and commerce graduate from Brisbane. I have just moved down to Melbourne for full time work in an accounting firm and I am looking to move into a place in the next month or two. I am an easy going, clean (other than my own room!) and friendly person, looking to meet new people as I have just moved. Ideally, I am looking to move in with other social people in their twenties.
Hey I'm 25, looking for a chilled and sociable place to live, ideally long term. I work full time but definitely like to make the most of my days off and it would be great to find some house mates who like to hang out occasionally/have dinner or drinks together. Of course considerate of other peoples space and pull my weight with cleaning etc. I'm pretty artistic, really in to music and love going to festivals, travelling and exploring the delights of Melbourne i.e drinking too much coffee, going to galleries, chilling in the park, beaching etc. x
As a mature girl, I'm clean and pretty quiet. I respect your personal life but I'm also friendly enough to share daily conversations. I'm not a party maniac but I know when to have fun. Beside working part-time as a barista and study hospitality management, I like fitness so I try to workout and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
I am easy going loves a chat but also some personal time. Working full time and I am neat and tidy. I would like to have a place which I could call home.
Hey guys, i'm relocating to Melbourne from regional NSW- and would love to move in with similarly chilled-out, open-minded people. I am very open to spending time with flatmates, whether at home or going out to places (especially movies and music events!) I'm quite laid-back and don't mind if you just want to do your own thing, not everyone is permanently social and needs alone time- which i'm *pretty* fond of myself. My (personal) interests include binge-watching TV serials/movies, comics, games, writing and fiction in general- but those aren't my only hobbies. I also love going out and socializing- movies, live music and generally going out for the day/night (or hanging out at home) are how I like to spend my non-alone time! I'm very interested in meeting new people and being introduced to new things- so if how i've described myself doesn't sound much like you, don't worry that I won't be interested- ahah I do like variety. (I'd prefer a somewhat lengthy stay so I can feel established and not have to rearrange myself all the time- but my exact move date and preferred suburbs are all just close estimates!) I look forward to hearing from you, don't feel shy to swing me a message! :)
I am a full-time design and production manager working in Melbourne CBD. I am very easy to live with, as I am very clean, sociable and have a bubbly personality. I am an active person who is a regular gym goer, loves travelling and always keen for an adventure. I enjoy cheese + bread with a glass of wine, movies, cooking, blogging and meeting new people. On Sundays I got to Planetshakers, which is a church located at South Melbourne. Would love to move into a place where people are friendly, considerate, love having a laugh and enjoy having occasional dinner together.

Hello! I work in hospitality and I've just moved to Melbourne. I've lived in Sydney all of my adult life in shared housing situations, so I'm pretty chill and considerate of other people's needs. I prefer living in a place where the occupants are happy to mingle and socialise, especially over drinks and/or food. I enjoy cooking at home, and will be bringing a bunch of cool kitchen toys with me! At other times I run fairly regularly for exercise, or play video games on the computer. My work hours will likely be late. I do my best to keep things quiet when I come home late and have never had complaints from the other 9-5ers I've lived with. I don’t have a pet but love animals, so I’m happy to feed or walk/exercise your pets. I’m looking for a long-term home (6 months or more) and would like to move in sooner rather than later, but I'm fairly flexible.
Hi there! I'm Sarah. Full disclosure: I just arrived in Melbourne after traveling for a year and am still getting my life together. I'm working a couple of part time jobs and am looking for a great place to call home for the short term. This includes finding a place to live. Hostels are SO expensive! I'm friendly, responsible, clean, respectful, sociable, but also can survive by myself. I need a furnished room and roommates who will at least say hello and ask how my day was! I can't commit to long term at the moment - one month ideally, but I'll make it a great month, I promise! Outside of work time I enjoy live music and sports, exercise, food, and good beer. I can move in at the beginning of March. Looking forward to hearing from you, Sarah
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a recent graduate and work full time in HR. I'm looking to live somewhere close to the city for an easy commute to work. I'm an outgoing person who loves a laugh and some quality chats. I would ideally like to live in a social household that are down for watching terrible TV shows and sharing a meal/having a drink together. My inner introvert does cause me to need a bit of chill time to myself though! Overall I'm easy going and friendly. I'd prefer to live in a mixed-gender household and do have a pet cockatiel who I would love to bring with me (if at all possible). He's a small bird, so not too noisy and he would be housed in my room. I would be happy to live with people with a doggo, however cats are out of the question because that's a tad risky with the bird. Despite the bird I'm pretty normal, aside from my slightly weird sense of humour. So feel free to contact me if you think I sound like a somewhat decent potential housemate!
Hi, I'm an easy going guy looking for accommodation in central Melbourne. Looking at areas like St Kilda, Prahan south of the river etc but I am also new to Melbourne so open to anywhere central for work and looking to live with similar aged people. I've just transferred down from the Sunshine Coast to Melbourne with an engineering firm and start on 8th March. I enjoy the outdoors - hiking, surfing, rugby union but might need to be brought up to speed with AFL! Also enjoy having a few casual drinks at cafes/bars on the weekend. Looking forward to exploring what Melbourne has to offer and meeting new people!
I'm Cody and Im a 24 yr old full time Graphic Designer. I'm looking to get out of my current place as I'm in need of a change. I'm incredibly spiritual (not religious, just spiritual) so I'm looking to move into a place with open minded people. I'm vegan but i'm not opposed to living with meat eaters, each to their own :) My other hobbies include illustration, yoga, meditation and reading. I'm very much an old soul and not a big party girl. I'm open to living with any sex, of any age, as long as the vibe feels right. I also have a gorgeous cat named Lexi, she's pretty badass and super house trained. If I sound like a good fit for you, then please get in touch :)
I'm a recent uni grad who is moving down from Brisbane to Melbourne to start full time work. I'll be busy during the week but that allows me to be extremely reliable with rent and up to exploring what Melbourne has to offer on the weekend! I'm clean, easy going and respectful of others' space. I've had great experiences share housing before and appreciate people who are up for a chat, love food as much as I do and bring positive energy. Please get in touch to ask me any questions :)
I am currently moving over from Perth and looking for people to meet and get to know on my new adventure! I am easy going, not a big drinker and do not smoke, big social person!
Hello there future housemate(s), I’m Sanjit, a 22-year-old student who’s looking to move to Melbourne from Brisbane in order to pursue my Master’s degree in Food science at the University of Melbourne. I’m very reliable with rent and other bills (can provide references of previous housemates). I’ve lived in many share houses before so I know the drill! I’m hygienic, clean and tidy! I’m very chilled out and laid-back (so much so that I’m almost horizontal) and hope to find similar easy going and open minded housemates. Looking to rent a place for a minimum of 4-6 months and can extend it if it works out fine. I’m a very sociable person, love going out for food, drinks, movies and would love to find a chilled out place to call home. I also respect everyone’s privacy and will not be constantly pestering you haha. Since I’ll be starting with my Master’s degree, I’ll be pretty busy during the weekdays at Uni but I’m always keen to chill on the weekends. I love watching and playing soccer! (GO Manchester united!) I enjoy scuba diving, longboarding and am now looking into indoor/outdoor rock climbing. Also enthusiastic about patting dogs and watching funny dog compilation videos. I’m an avid music listener! Love rap, hip hop (artists such as Kendrick lamar, Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, The underachievers, Joey badass, J cole etc), classic rock (Pink Floyd, Guns n roses, Aerosmith, The beatles, Jefferson airplane, Creedence Clearwater revival, The rolling stones, Eric Clapton, Queen etc), Electronic (Flume, Nicholas jaar, Odesza, Pretty lights, Eric prydz, Bassnectar etc) and sometimes when I’m feeling classy, I’ll hit up some Wolfgang Mozart (what a ridiculously cool name) or Bach. So if you love music, I’m sure we will get along!! Also, I have a pair of headphones so you don’t have to worry about me blasting loud music. Also down to binge watch movies and tv shows. So, if you think we’d get along and would like to team up or you have a room available in your house, hit me up! I’m currently travelling overseas and will be arriving in Melbourne around the 21st of February. Send me a message if you're interested. Hope to hear from you soon :)
I am a 30 year old female lawyer moving to Melbourne end of Feb for a new job and new adventure. I grew up in New Zealand but have been living, travelling, exploring and just generally loving London and Europe for the last two years. I tend to work fairly long hours during the week and am often out catching up with friends and family after work, or just generally exploring the City. When I am at home, I am pretty laid back and enjoy relaxing with good food and a delicious glass of wine. I like to keep fit by going to the gym, a run in the sun, or a nice stroll along the beach. I am clean, tidy and respectful and although, incredibly self sufficient, enjoy being able to chat and feel comfortable socialising with my flat mates.
I am a Colombian girl who is going to study a Master in Monash University . I am looking for a place where I can feel as home . I love doing excercise I practice it every single day. Also I enjoy going out with friendes and practice outdoor excercise as running .
Full time professional, easy going and neat and tidy. Irish living in Australia for the past five years and now have permanent residency. Work pretty hard during the week so happy to have a chat /watch some series in the evenings. Up for a social drink on weekends.
Originally from London but in Melbourne on a working holiday visa. I'm sociable, but not looking for a party house. Tidy and always clean up after myself (no dishes left in the sink for days on end!) After spending 4 months in hostel dorms I'm looking forward to having somewhere I can make feel like home. I've just started working on an ongoing contract basis so am looking for somewhere to live for minimum of 3 months, although hopefully if the job goes well it could be up to 6 months. Ideally a furnished room, although not a deal breaker if not (although I may need some help putting the furniture together!) Would consider increasing budget to $300pw if it includes all bills and wifi. If you think you have something that might interest me please let me know. My moving in date could be flexible. Thanks Yvonne
Hi, I'm Christian. I've recently arrived in Melbourne from London (although I'm a northerner) and am looking for a sociable house or flat share. I'm really into sport, particularly cricket and am looking forward to watching some footy too. I like to cook and enjoy a shared flat meal now and again (steak and roasts are my specialties). Although I'll also be taking advantage of Melbourne's great restaurants and bars. I've got a job in the CBD and I'd like to live with people with similar interests...perhaps someone that likes Game of Thrones.
Hi, we are two english girls nearly half way through our second year of living in Australia. We are both full time workers - Kate works in an office on reception and Sophie is a hairdresser. We are very clean, tidy and respectful housemates. With both of us working full time it would be nice to have a clean house to come home to and be able to relax after a long day. We enjoy the gym, going out for food and exploring different and new places. It would be amazing to live with people of the same nature :) If you like the sound of us then please get in touch! Kate and Sophie.
I am a young 25-year-old male looking for accommodation. I work full time on weekdays, so I am usually home only by late evenings on the weekdays. I am definitely clean and friendly. I am a fairly quiet person, but rest assured I am not boring. I do enjoy having a conversation and sharing a drink or a meal with the people I live with. Also, I am a Vegetarian and it would obviously be an advantage living with another vegetarian or vegan. I do have a car, so I am looking for a place with a parking spot.
25 years old, working full time in marketing. Pretty chill dude, don't have any weird dietary requirements or political views. Would be great to find some peeps that enjoy a beer, but also respect a bit of privacy. Give me a buzz and let's have a chat!
