I have just returned from a 2 year working holiday in New Zealand which was fantastic! I was born in Brisbane. Currently looking for work but can pay rent (I am not on benefits). I don't smoke, I am clean and super tidy. I am also a minimalist and cannot live with clutter but as I have quite a bit of stuff in storage I'm looking for a granny flat of my own. I've tried to change the settings on my profile but it didn't work so my apologies if you were searching for a flatmate. Am pretty quiet and not a big fan of loud TVs but do occasionally enjoy a 'singfest' (private karaoke) when no one else is around. I am also a bit 'anal' about turning off lights, stand-by items etc. as I detest waste plus it saves electricity. Hot days and particularly nights I find hard to cope with so if there is air-conditioning I will use it but I try to keep to a minimum as it is expensive. Another reason why I like to turn off electrical items that aren't being used, keeping cool at night so I can sleep is more important. I have a reference from a previous rental property (Brisbane), plus police check dated 2015 which I needed for work in NZ as well as a NZ police check dated 2016. That's me in a nutshell.
Hi Myself and my very well behaved 17yr old cat are looking for a nice place to live, preferably in the inner northern suburbs - I work full time in as a retail store manager at Chermside. I'd love to find a house with air-conditioning, good internet, and hopefully a bit of extra space for activities. Ideally I want to team up with 2 - 3 people to get a nice place and cheapen the rent. I've put down inner north suburbs, if there is one close I haven't listed just assume its cool
MOVE IN DATE: i dont know when to move in, i have to give my landlord 2 weeks notice if i was to move in, but yeah, i just put that date bc i didnt know what to put I'm just looking for a good place that allows pets, my cat is 2 years old, hes a pretty boy, loves sleeping and most of them he is never actually near or in the house, he loves to go out and explore. he is not desexed yet, which i will most likely be getting him desexed next week after 23rd of august. Im neat, clean, tidy, i like to have things clean and im always quiet. my life consists of sleeping in bed on days off or going out to the shops with my friends, not a party person, only go out occasionally for like a celebration or somewhat of the sort. I'm currently in a place right now which i moved in just a few weeks ago, but things have happened and i need to bring my cat down from sunshine coast and he has no where to go, and the place im in, doesnt allow cats, dogs only, so yeah. LGBT+: im lgbt+ friendly if anyone was wondering
I am a 43 year single dad. My little girl is 3 years old and I do have her anything up to 50% of the time. It is a share custody agreement that we decide as we go, depending on the needs of both her and her mum on the week ahead. My daughter is very important to me, so it is important for me to find a room suitable for the two of us to live in. We do cosleep so an extra bed in the room would not be necessary. I do have most of my own furniture, but will to put some in storage if the need arises. I have just recently graduated from a Diploma of Human Resources Management, so am currently looking for work in this field to kick start my new career. In saying that I am determined to find work in the near future, so on the days I dont have my daughter, Im usually busy trying to find suitable employment. I am very responsible with rent, and pay on the day it is due fortnightly as a first priority. I have lived in the same Stafford Residence for three years since my daughters mother and I separated, and quite happy to produce references to show there will never be an issue with my rent, am clean and tidy, respectful, and an allround awesome housemate. Before I livedin my current Residence, I lived in Everton Park, where my daughter is currently residing. In saying that am quite happy to take my time in moving to find the right house and right fit for my daughter, as it is important to me to find something long term as want to be able to provide stability for my little girl. I am a man of word however, and definatly want to do the right thing by my current landlord, so from the date an agreement is made with us, I would have to give him two weeks notice. It is important to me to stay relatively close to the area of Everton Park/Stafford as I dont have transport, and need to be close to my daughter in case of any emergencies that may arise if needed. My life very much does revolve around my munchkin. I have not worked an exact dollar amount I can afford in rent at the moment but hoping for something along the price range of up to $160 per week, although this amount is mentioned it is just a rough estimate until i can work out the figures with an exact dollar amount, as budgeting is also very important to me in my situation so willing to go higher but prefer to go smaller. I am very honest person and tells it is how it is, so I am saying if there is a bond, an arrangement would have to be made to pay it off with my rent upon my tenancy starting, as I honestly do not have that sort of money upfront. Im not sure how all this works so if your interested please get back to me asap with a number or contact details, and be only to happy to contact you as soon as possible. Kind Regards Steven
I am a full time student who does full time hours at work too. I love to have a chat and make dinner and don't mind a drink or two on the weekend. I keep to myself and am pretty tidy.
Hi there, Just moved from Canberra to Brisbane for a job in Chermside. I'm a graduate paramedic, who in part time enjoys sports, exercising and going out and about. I'm looking for a share accomodation which would be accomodating to my sporadic work schedule and well developed sense of humour. I am house trained, an average cook but make up in cleanliness I'm looking for initially 6 months with an option to extend further/forever Please get back to me and we sort something out Brendan
Hey, Im currently searching for a nice 2 or 3 bedroom house to live in and looking for some cool people to live with on the North side of Brisbane. Im a pretty chilled person, very sociable and love to have a wine or a beer after work, but also fine to have my alone time when it comes to it. I like to keep a clean house, although in saying that I'm more than happy to be the one cleaning it. I have a tiny cat that would be coming with me- very cute, and a house worth of furniture with all the necessities. xo A
Relocating to Brisbane for work and would like to share a place until I get settled in (though if it works well then hey, great!). Single professional lady, non smoker, no pets. I am not a party type, and don't know anyone in the area so will be pretty quiet! Though I do like socialising and am friendly. I generally work 8am-6pm four days a week. I'm allergic to cats (though I do love them!), and generally prefer to share with men, or a share house with at least one man (nothing personal ladies), however I'm open to discussions. Thank you for looking at my profile!
Hi! I'm Jordan. I'm 19 and working at specsavers (you get to hear me talk about glasses a lot which is either a pro or a con depending on your level of enthusiasm for glasses). When I'm not working I'm hiding out watching movies or exploring the city, depends how adventurous I'm feeling. I also try to get to the gym a couple times a week (key word is try) and am planning on getting into indoor soccer again if I find the time. I like to think I'm a fairly clean person so won't be leaving a mess all over the place. Feel free to send me through a message if you're interested in us staying together!
Hey I am looking for a few friendly, respectful and working/studying people to team up to rent a sharehouse. About me: I am working full time in Carsendale and studying at UQ (IT, PHD), so it would be nice to team up with some students or professionals. I am a hard worker, but don't mind to socialise from time to time. I don't smoke and hardly ever drink alcohol. I am a clean, reliable, easy going person and respect others' privacy. I enjoy hiking and bush-walking as well as conversations with a cup of tea :-) Feel free to contact me if you keen to team up or have a spare room.

My fiancé and I and our two medium size pups are looking for a place to rent. Needs a large backyard that is fully fenced! Really don't care what the place looks like as long as the yard is good for our puppies. We can afford $300 a week preferably with utilities. I work part time and study full time hours. My fiancé is a apprentice diesel fitter who works 6 days a week. Eldest pup is 3, who is a 3 legged ridgeback Youngest is a 1.5 year old chocolate Labrador They are like very tempered and well behaved dogs. We desperately need a place sooner the better! Thank you in advance For more information please contact me
Hi my name is Nik- I'm an easy going guy. I work at RBH as a Registered Nurse. My current lease runs our end of September and I'm planning to move to new place - iether buddy up or move in with my future flatmate who currently has a place. With my profession I have traveled a lot so I'm used to sharing. I'm currently saving up for my own place so would like to share for few more years while saving. Looking to share with one other person only. Another shift worker would be great but flexible with it. Doing shift work sometimes I work nights and majority mixture of late/early shifts. Hence ideally looking for place with air con in my bedroom. Only have bedroom furniture, therefor would require a fully furnished accomodation. I am a smoker but outdoor only. I believe communication is a key to a successful house sharing. If I sound like the right person you'd like to share with please get in touch. Thanks Nik
Hey Guys! Before I start rambling about things you may not be interested in, I will break it down a little. Intro: Lauren and I (Jackie) are looking for someone to team up with us to share a 3 Bedroom house in North Brisbane. We are quite open minded about where Northside but we aren't looking at anywhere South side or no more than 30 minutes from the city for work related travel. We are looking to move out anytime from now until early December at latest, our current lease is quite flexible. Lauren and I met 9 months ago from Flatmates.com so we are hoping for another successful experience :) Animals: We both have animals so we will be needing a fully fenced house. Lauren owns a ragdoll cat (Portia) and a mini dachshund (Frank) and I own a border collie (Barney). if you have an outside dog then I'm sure we could make this work. Otherwise, if you've always wanted an animal and could never commit, living with us could fill that void! Barney never barks unless someone is suspiciously hanging around the house and in that case, he is trained to protect and warn off strangers (has saved me from two break ins, I'm very impressed). Our animals are very chilled, Frank is a learning puppy but he's already so well behaved. About Us: A little about us, Lauren is studying with a full-time job in a clinic and Im the head chef at a small cafe. We both work morning shifts and take pride in the houses we live in. Lauren is looking into buying a house soon so the 6-month lease is our safest bet atm. We both are crazy Dyson fans so the house will always be clean on our behalf. We are totally fine with a couple dishes left here but cleanliness is always important. Conclusion: If you have read this far then I'm extremely surprised. We don't mean to sound picky, we are both very relaxed to be honest. If we lay it all on the line now then hopefully there are no surprises in the future. Send a message if you're wondering about meeting halfway with something or any questions. Hopefully, we can make it work :)
Clean, honest, easy going, just looking for somewhere clean, drug free. With some easy going peopl that are happy to have my daughter on occasion. Move in asap. Currently renting a room in Highgate Hill.
I'm an easy going guy from Melbourne, I've been in Brisbane for over a year now and don't have many friends here cause all I do is work 😓 I'm getting a bit bored of the place I'm at now and want to move into a more lively and friendly atmospheric house, with some new faces ! I'm a bit of a bogan, so some say but I'm clean and tidy and am considerate of others! Im a contractor and I'm mostly at work but after work I like to watch Netflix, I'm a big PS4 fan and a big advocate of beer. Not a full time smoker but you will find me with them from time to time. If you want to get together for a chat, give me a buzz Cheers James
Looking for a quiet place with great people that can respect my space. Preferably with a convenient commute to work in Stafford and the room must be furnished. I will also have my sister visiting me from overseas beginning the 21st of August. She will be living with me for this time (one month). So also looking for flatmates that are OK with this.
Full time employed on Maternity Leave at present. Looking for accommodation for myself, 9 year old daughter and my 3 week old baby to move out asap.
Hi my name is Taryn and I'm looking for a nice happy place to live with my beautiful friendly clean, house trained Staffie. My background is working in a prison as a Psych Clinician however, I'm currently working as a nanny as it gives me time to start a business. I'm single, 41 years of age, outgoing, friendly and very easy to live with. If you like dogs and choose me you will be gaining two friends instead of one. He is 11 and extremely popular with kids and people. I also provide 3 hrs of free cleaning per fortnight and I'm happy to pay an extra $50 per week to accomodate my dog. I would love to hear from you guys. Please feel free to call me anytime
