I'm turning 19 in a month and have always lived in a small-ish town in Northern NSW, but am keen to move to Brisbane and have always loved the city, so I'm very keen for a new adventure. Next month I will be beginning a year long course, studying at the Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre in Stafford. I'm an easy going person who loves getting to know knew people, but I also understand the importance of down time and personal space.
All my friends are now married, so I'm seeking to share a unit/townhouse with one other person. Preferably two bathrooms and a carpark (although a place with ample street parking is also fine) - these are not a prerequisite however. Looking anywhere Brisbane Inner North (I have listed many example suburb options but not further North than Chermside). Looking to move now, as I have had to extend my lease a further two weeks to Feb 1st. I work at Eagle Farm so closer to there is ideal. I have all the gear required to setup a place (indoor/outdoor furniture, TV, kitchen stuff etc etc), so if you have a place for rent that is already kitted out (or nowhere for me to store) chances are it might be tough for us to manage. Unfortunately it seems many of the rooms listed for rent are also already kitted out. I have storage options available for some of my items but not all, so perhaps something could be negotiated there. Happy to meet up this week to discuss teamup possibilities and gauge suitability. My work is understanding with me needing to find a place to rent so anytime can be arranged. I work as a logistics manager for an IT company have just completed two degrees (Diploma of Graphic Design / Bachelor of Communication Design) in the past 2.5 years. Weekends I like to go to the beach / hiking / visiting friends. I would like to find someone who is open to the possibility doing a bit of meal sharing because I enjoy cooking for others more than myself and I appreciate that communal aspect of it. I like to have a couple of hours later in the weeknight evenings to myself to work on projects / wind down. Flexible with leasing options but would rather something 6months+ Cheers!
We have a puppy named Axle who you will fall in love with. Trust me. Also have an eight years old cat named Jagermeister. Both of us have lived in and around brisbane for years. We arent the party type but still like to have friends around the house a bit. Would prefer our own bathroom and garage space fenced yard a must.
I am a family-oriented, neat and tidy, non-smoking/drinking/partying, people-friendly, caring, responsible person. I'm looking for unfurnished accommodation (1-2 bedrooms) for myself and my 5 years old daughter. She goes to school in Everton Park. We prefer living close to quite streets, single/double story dwelling, a garage/carport for my car. We've been renting since 2012 & is able to provide reference.
I'm currently not looking for a place but thought I'd register now rather than later. My name is Jessica and will be turning 24 in March 2017. I currently work as a full time librarian but am currently looking for a different full time job that can guarantee a stable income. I would say that I am a quiet and reserved person who is awkward at first but can be outgoing once I get to know others. I don’t drink, smoke or drive nor do I go out partying and I also have a cat allergy. I have lived with dogs since kindergarten to present time with my family, so I am perfectly fine with living with dogs. I enjoy staying up late when I don’t have work and doesn’t go to bed until midnight on a work day. My spare time primarily involves reading manga and watching anime. My other interests include books and fanfiction, watching movies and TV, and (recently solo travelled Japan in September 2016). Besides my love for anime and manga, I also am a huge Harry Potter fan. I have never lived with people except my parents, brother and dogs so I apologise if I am incredibly reserved as I don’t normally live with people outside of my family. In terms of length of stay, I would like to stay at a location for over a few years so I can save up to buy an apartment or home of my own. I identify as an aromantic asexual (doesn’t experience romantic or sexual attraction) so you won’t see people visiting me except maybe the odd friend or family member on rare occasions.
Currently live with a couple at north lakes; however my new job now requires me to travel closer to the city. I have lived outside of home for about 4/5 years now, so i am self-reliant and clean. I am a sociable person and enjoy having casual drinks when I'm not working. I have previously lived with multiple females, so i don't mind living with a specific gender. If you're interested send us a message or text.
Respectful, Clean, Tidy, Self-sufficient, Social, Friendly, Reliable, Easy to get along with. I work in IT support Mon - Fri. Often away for weekends. Looking for end of March and possibly ongoing. Prefer furnished bedroom.
Generally a happy person, easy to get along with, love to cook so that's a bonus, mostly quiet, very ocd about cleaning. I do have a boyfriend who id like to be able to stay with me 2/3 times a week so that's a must. A room with my own bathroom or aircon is preferable!
Quiet and laid back, work 5/6 days so always busy when not at work I'd be at the gym or I'm watching Netflix reading a book or in the kitchen. I also have a cat he's an indoor only and loves a good cuddle with pretty much anyone.
Hi I'm Sam. I work most weekdays at a little cafe in the city. I'm originally from Rockhampton but moved to Brisbane over two years ago for something new. I like to think I'm fun and pretty chill. Always up for cool adventures and love a good movie night.
I'm 33. Employed as a health professional. Easygoing. Respectful. Love Animals. I am looking for a room/share house not too far from the Prince Charles Hospital in Chermside. I work full-time and moved from Melbourne last year. I've lived with others for many years and understand the meaning of personal space and cleaning up after myself. I am looking for short-term accomodation to share with easygoing people for the next 1-3 months. I would prefer a furnished/semi-furnished room and would like to have the room available from next weekend (although I am a little flexible in this regard). I love going out for good food, watching Netflix and regularly travel to Melbourne - so you'll have lots of time to yourself. Many Thanks!
Very quiet, tidy and respectful. I am a fire fighter who works shift work, have 4 grown up children and recently separated from my wife. Wanting a granny flat long term if possible. I play social tennis and enjoy walking. I also enjoy social gatherings. I am a non smoker.
Cruisy easy going 21 year old girl with a full time job looking for a room in a furnished house, close enough to wesfield chermside. I've recently moved back from travelling over seas so don't have a lot other than bedroom furniture. Only needing somewhere for about 6 moths. Don't have a car but might buy one in the future.
I'm a 36-year-old doctor working as an anaesthetist at The Prince Charles Hospital. I work 4 days a week and the few times I'm on call I tend to stay at the hospital. I enjoy running and attend Park Run most Saturdays. I enjoy spending time with friends, watching anime and practising my drawing skills. I think living with people requires straight-forward open communication and flexibility. I value kindness in myself and others.
I'm 21, looking for a new place to rent. I've been living in Brisbane for 2 years and love to get out and explore. I'm looking to move in with someone who I can socialise with and have the occasional drink or dinner but am also respectful for the need for each other's space. I work full tim shift work but am always quiet when coming or going from the house. I also like to keep a clean and tidy house (really important to me) and love to cook and bake!
Hi my name is Taneil. I am studying nursing and paramedics. I work as a carer for a guy who is a Quadriplegic. Hi My name is Fabian Svensson and I am a 19 year old student studying at QUT for the past year doing a Bachelor of Business & working at a 4 star city hotel. Hey everyone! We're looking for either rooms in a pet friendly property or an extra housemate for a team up. We all have jobs, keep things clean and like to socialise. If your interested send us a message 👌🏼
I will be moving to Brisbane from Sydney to study law at QUT. I will also be looking for a causal job on weekends so probably won't be around much. I am clean and respectful. I am friendly but don't want a party house. Prefer friendly chats and shared meals :) I should clarify that I cannot move before late Jan due to the lease on my current house.
Hey guys, my names Max I'm looking for a house with my friend Gabe, we are looking for one more person to stay with us preferably a guy around our age. we are both full-time workers, are quite social people, both enjoy riding motorbikes and casual drinks on the weekend but still respect the privacy of others. we are both quite clean people so that is a must, students or workers are welcome and we are both LGBT+ friendly. I've got a bit of furniture including; couch, tv, coffee table, fridge, washing machine. I also have quite a decent amount of kitchen supplies. so you'll just have to bring a bed and you should be right, but feel free to add to the furniture and if you have some things that i already have then we can sort something out and i could get rid of some of mine if yours is more suited to the house. My current lease ends late January so I'm looking for a house or apartment to move into on the 20th or around that date, I'll be looking at houses and inspecting them with my mate so let me know if you're interested in coming to one with us. I'm the guy on the left but Gabe isn't in the picture (trying to find a photo with both of us in it), message me if you're interested or have any questions. :)
I am currently 17 and will be studying biomedicine next year! I am outgoing and super friendly, plus a social person! I am house proud and always clean up after myself and am willing to cook dinners for the household to share! I work as a casual but get around 30 hours per week! Also super friendly and easy to get along with.
Hi! I'm Maddy and I'm an RN at the RBWH. So if you hurt yourself, I'm a great roomie 👌🏼 Looking to hopefully move at the end of February/start of march. Would like to stay in close proximity to the hospital and if there are some other Royal/Charlies nurses out there keen to get a place together that would be great! I'm a neat and tidy person who loves to cook and bake (brownies, cookies, you name it) and loves a good cheese platter and wine. (Usually I do it by myself, but with friends is better #singlelife) I know how to be quiet, but also don't mind having a chat and a laugh on the couch in my pj's eating pizza. If you haven't worked it out by now, I really enjoy food. Oh and I don't smoke. My prerequisites for a new place would that I get the garage/undercover car space and potentially my own bathroom if it is more than 2 bedrooms, but I'm not picky, as long as you're neat and tidy! If you're looking to move at this time, chuck me a message!
I am a social person who likes a chat, but I also value my privacy and quite downtime. I have been living in share accommodation for the past 4 months, and believe that I am a tidy and easy going person to live with. I am currently in between jobs, but am actively looking for work, I am currently on Centrelink payments. While I am 17, I will turn 18 in January. I have been told that I am mature for my age, which my current housemates would agree with.
hey looking for a room north brissy for work. I own my own property but wanting to move closer to bris. I'm clean, mature and respectful of space. Socialable, into gym, beach , outdoors the odd night out :) I have a 4yr old Siberian husky that is well trained, outside, friendly dog that doesn't bark. Let me know you have a room available :)
Hi I'm Whitney, I currently live in Victoria point in the Redlands and I work In Grange in Brisbane, I'm looking for a place close to my work to make travelling time small and also not too expensive to live. I'm currently thinking about getting a dog, I have always wanted one since moving to Brisbane. What I'm looking for is a place I can call home just as much as the persons/ or people living there too and we get along and are on the same level of respect in the house. I work full time hours 40 hours a week plus 8+ hours at a pub each week. If your interested please contact me I'm hoping to find a new place by the new year I have moved too many times in the last year being here already and I just want a stable place for once.
Hi there! I’m looking to move mid/end of Jan. A little about me: I work full time 9-5 in Fundraising, don’t smoke, play indoor soccer and on weekends I’m running around with friends or relaxing at home. I’m looking for a tidy, social and respectful place to live.
My name is Rahman and I'm a 26 year old professional. I work full time. I'm currently living in Gaythorne, and the owner is moving back into the house so have to vacate. I can leave my current place with a couple weeks notice. I enjoy sports (particularly Cricket), video games, coffee and food! Feel free to contact me. Cheers, Rahman
Hi, my partner and i are looking for a room to rent. A little about us, im 24 and studying a double degree at QUT. I also work part time (about 30hrs p/w) in retail. My partner works full time in south brisbane. We are both active people who get to the gym about 4-5 times a week so between work/study and gym we are rarely home but when we are we like to just relax, not party animals at all. We are considerate of others space but also dont mind socializing after work or on the weekend.
Looking for a quiet, clean and modern place. We are houseproud, quiet. We do not smoke, drink or do drugs. Have references. Wife is Head Chef, I work from home as a writer. High speed unlimited internet and proper kitchen essential. No illegal caves and no share houses thanks.
I'm a pretty easy going, friendly 25 year old working full time in real estate. I have rented/shared before and am very neat, tidy and considerate. I keep to myself but also don't mind the odd catch up with housemates. I am looking to move to be closer to work. I have a little cat called pepper who will be coming with me. She is very friendly and loves to play and have pats.
I am very clean and tidy, I have 2 cats and a few terrariums with lizards (no snakes and if you don't like lizards don't worry, you will never see them). I am fun, easy going and get along with people easily. I'll always pay my rent on time and depending on what kind of flatmate relationship you want I can stick to myself or I can bake some chocolate brownies for our movie nights.
Hi, I am a (relatively) young professional who is looking for a place to call home! :) I work Mondays to Fridays and I like to keep active so I'm often out doing some sort of sport most of the days. I like coming home to a relaxed environment. I generally keep to myself but enjoy casual banter and would like to socialise occasionally. The best shared house experience I had was when we were not just housemates but friends, and would love to find people I really get along with! Sharing a glass of wine, watching tv, or even playing sports together sounds amazing! I am very easy going and don't like to make a big fuss about things. I prefer an environment where everyone is just aware and considerate of everyone else and we help out if need be. I have lived in various shared house environments for a quite while now and know how to keep things tidy and clean up after myself, along with the other basic stuff like paying rent on time etc etc. Feel free to get in touch with me if you think we might get along and/or have questions! :)
Hi there, I am a 22 year old female (turning 23). I have completed all my studies and now working full time in teaching (primary). I am respectful, clean and easy going. Love the occasional wine and socialise but also like my downtime as well. I live what I like to think an active and healthy lifestyle. I am looking for like minded people. Ideally, I'm looking at places that are more on the modern/newer side and my own bathroom. My current lease is due to run out on March 16th but may find someone to fill my current room earlier. If you think I'll be interested in your listing or would like to team up, please feel free to contact me. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. Annie
My friend Dan and I are looking to team-up for a 3 or 4 bedroom place somewhere in the inner-city on the northside. Although we're pretty flexible on location. I'm a full time engineering and IT student at UQ and I also work part-time in Spring Hill/CBD. Dan and I live together already and he works part-time at an Aldi store. I have a 1 yr old black labrador called Indy. She's still very puppy like but doesn't get up to much trouble any more. We can fully furnish the new place so if you only have things to fill your bedroom that's fine with us. We also have a netflix to share on a 4k TV if that's your jam. We're looking to stay in a house with a yard ideally with floorboards to help keep things clean. Let us know if you're interested or have any other questions!

Working 6 days a week in realestate so hardly at home, just looking for a quiet place with cool people to rest my weary head at night but also happy to be sociable when the time fits. I don't have any pets but happy to reside with other pets, I also like to go out for weekend drinks but still enjoy my quiet private time.

Hi, I'm a working professional looking to rent an apartment or townhouse - either with house mates or on my own. I work in the government full time, and generally work longer hours. I go to the gym most afternoons as well and also like to relax on the couch. Weekends I like to either get away up the coast to the beach, or hang out with friends. As much as I love them, I'm allergic to cats so would prefer place that didn't have them (puppies are fine 😉).
Hi! My name is Minnie and I am 22 years old. I'm looking for a place to rent that is convenient to university at the city. Next to the shops and public transport would also be great. I have been moving to many places and stayed at each places for about a year. I love to cook my own food, clean my own mess and do my own independent chores. I'm usually quite and shy at first but once you get to know me well, I'm honest, trustworthy and friendly as well. At most of the time I study full time and am looking for part time work to support myself. I'm on a budget maximum and depending on how it goes. Please help out and am in need of a place to stay for full time studying. Prefer long term stay.Would be great if its furnished as well :)
What makes me great to live with? Well I am clean and tidy with out being too OCD. I work casually in childcare and get good hours so pay my bills on time. I am social but still like my alone time. I am easy to communicate with plus I have an absolutely adorable loving dog (she is a bit of a giant but she is amazing) and a cat who is super loving too. I enjoy partying on the odd occasion but don't want a party house. I would like a nice home 😇 I am social but also enjoy my down time and space too.
