I am 26 and will be moving to Sydney on the 8th of December for a full time Architecture job and looking for long term accommodation to commence as soon as possible. Looking for something in Enmore, Petersham or surrounding suburbs (near the train line would be great), hopefully for under $280 a week or $300 including bills. I like to spend my spare time between indoor rock-climbing, heading to the beach, having a drink and checking out small bars and cafes, playing games with friends and watching movies and TV (mostly sci-fi and cult, need someone to watch black mirror with). Definitely a creative type, happy to have my own space and chill out but also socially active and looking to spend some time with my future housemates. I’m pretty good with keeping common areas like the kitchen clean and tidy and happy to split chores. I usually cook my own meals, mostly vegetarian, but I am flexible especially when it comes to shared meals. In terms of appliances I will mostly be bringing entertainment devices (Amplifier, bookshelf speakers, Xbox One, Wii U) but I’m happy to chip in if the house is in need of anything new. A room with natural light and somewhere outside to set up a small raised planter bed would be fantastic! I’m free to inspect properties any time Friday 9th to Sunday 11th as well as after work and on weekends from then on. PM me if you are interested to know more!
Looking for a furnished room from (ideally, but flexible) 15 Dec till 20 March 2017. I'm very neat, fully employed, and like a good chat and a cup of tea. I work full-time in my own VFX business in Erko.
Full-time corporate gal hailing from the northern beaches. Essentially, the commute is draining my soul so here I am!
Hi I'm Kimm (male) I'm interested in the room in your home. I'm a community lawyer and just got back from cycling around Europe and western Africa. I'm house trained - usually do cleaning duties on saturdays and during idle moments while cooking, I try to keep things to a standard so if somebody dropped by they wouldn't think the place was outa sorts. I spend my time cooking, reading, swimming. I'm from Sydney, but before travelling overseas I was working in Alice Springs for three years. Cheers. I hope to hear from you
Hey, I am quite busy with working, studying and social activities but love to share dinner and a beer or glass of wine once in a while. I am easy going, clean, reliable and considerate of other peoples space. I am looking for short term accomodation, potentially leading to long term accomodation depending on where I study next year. I have a beautiful kitty who is extremely well behaved and would love to come live with you too but I also have alternate living arranged for him if this is not possible.
I'm a clean and tidy person who likes to cook sometimes. I like most cultural activities like going to art openings/exhibitions and I look forward to moving closer to work. At this point in time I'm flexible for when I could move into a place, and for how long.

Won't mind an occasional chat over a glass of wine or some beer though. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask

That's why I prefer places with an easy access to Blacktown.

Hello future housemates, female in my late twenties post-student, easy going, tidy and caring human being. My routine is usually weekdays at Uni and during evenings always up for a chat to relax and get ready for the next day. I like to spend my weekends away from the weekly routine, random but nothing crazy. I have been living in shared houses for a while so I am absolutely aware of the meaning "clean up after yourself ". I am looking for "The right place" somewhere I can call Home, surrounded by nice and fun ppl. I am available to move mid December and willing to commit for long term. Let me know if you are interested!
Hi All, My name is Josh and I'm a 30-year old working professional looking for my own room to rent in a unit or house in the Inner-West or West of Sydney. I'm very laid back, clean, hygienic and a sociable guy. I'm a massive sports fan (live for the NRL) and also really like cricket, baseball, soccer and wrestling. Music wise, I'm into rock and metal mostly, but also enjoy blues and some jazz. I enjoy a drink socially and it would be handy if my flatmate/flatmates did too. It's important for me to point out that, I'm not looking to move in with a hermit who locks themselves in their room. So, If you aren't a sociable person and more of an introvert, it's probably best not to contact me. What I'm looking for in a nutshell: - Fun, friendly and easy going flatmates (Male or Female is fine by me) - A private room of my own (not shared) - A place within 1km of a train station - A place with air conditioning is a must What I'm NOT looking for: - Sharing my bedroom - Living with anyone over 40 - Living with a cat (more than happy to live with dogs though) - Rent of more than $250 a week - Living with more than 3 other people Please contact me if you have a room available in one of the Suburbs I've listed and you've read my profile and think we would make great flatmates. Cheers
I'm a Media Advisor working in the CBD, currently commuting from the Blue Mountains. Looking to move closer to work, and hopefully start studying my Master's Degree in International Relations next year. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy yoga, Pilates and running and heading to the beach with a good book on the weekend. I'm quiet and pretty easy going and am always up for a chat over a glass of wine or cup of tea.
I'm 24 and super easy to get along with, eat out a lot but can cook, vegan so I won't steal your food, very social but know when to have a quiet one. This is really quite strange to write, it's a lot easier just to meet someone!
I'm quiet, clean and really easy going. I love a beer and to chill out but I also really enjoy my personal space and will respect yours too. I'm a shift worker in the cbd, hours can be weird and sleep is important; not looking for a party house. But I do love to have fun and if my roster allows it I'll be out all night. I love to cook, keep fit, read and hang with my friends. I'm the kind of person who enjoys a good chat, to listen and be there for others. I'm currently a smoker but plan to quit once moving out.
Hi, We are three friends (two guys and a girl) looking for another girl to start a new lease with us in the inner west. We are looking for a 4 bedroom house with a backyard for BBQs in summer. I'm a pretty easygoing person to live with, clean & pay everything on time. I like Netflix, food, wine, outdoor adventures, live music... bit of everything. The two guys are really clean, friendly & responsible. Architects who also like to socialise but work long hours through the week. We would like to live with someone who likes to hang out after work and is friendly rather than feeling like strangers sharing a place. If that is you, send us a message :-)
I am an outgoing, humorous character from Orange County, California. I work full time as a retail manager in a job I've had for over two years now. I love a laugh as much as an adventure and some of my favorite things to do are downhill mountain biking, sailing, and scuba diving. I'm a very tidy person and very easy to get along with. I'm looking at a minimum six month lease for my own room in a house with either a private bathroom or an ensuite ideally. I also have a car, so a place with a parking spot or easy nearby parking is strongly preferable.
We are looking to move into our new home in mid to late February 2017. David is an accountant who will start working in the cbd in March 2017. Tegan is in her final year of law at university and works part time in a law firm in the city. We are both from Newcastle originally and are moving to Sydney for David's work. Tegan currently lives in Sydney in the inner west. We work late during the week so will largely keep to ourselves then, but are up for socialising on the weekend. Even on a weekend, we are still relatively quiet and low key. Our ideal housemates will also be young professionals who won't want to throw regular crazy parties and will generally be a good housemate (the basics, paying bills on time, cleaning after yourself), as we will be. We are interested in either the inner west or lower North shore close to a train station (less than 10 minute walk) and half an hour trip in total to the cbd to make those late work nights easy.
I'm looking for my new home, I am a friendly and British looking for somewhere accessible to Central Sydney. I have just moved across to Sydney with work after spending the last 4 years in Auckland as a HR professional. I am sociable, outgoing and keen to live with like-minded people, equally, I am respectful of other people's privacy and enjoy time to myself. At the weekends I tend to relax, socialise and enjoy the occasional dinner and drinks.
Hello there! I am Andrew, a business development/account manager who has just moved into a different industry. The new job is CBD based so i am looking to move closer to the city - currently I am based in the hills district which means I am spending more commuting than I'd like. I used to work in FMCG so have a pretty good knowledge of bars and restaurants in Sydney. I also like music, movies, conversation, .......the usual good stuff. If you think we'd be a good fit and like to know more drop me a line. Ideally I'd like to have something locked in by the end of 2016 and preferably sooner.
Heya I'm Emily, i've recently returned from traveling around Europe and am looking for a place for the new year. I will be commencing my masters studying public health at Sydney university so ideally would like a place close to city or with good public transport access. I enjoy having chats with housemates around the kitchen with a few drinks but can also appreciate having alone time and personal space. I tend to go out with friends on weekends and attempt to keep active and enjoy the outdoors. During the week after work and study i tend to relax with some quality netflix time. As a housemate im clean, tidy and respectful. I appreciate a clean house but a few dishes arnt the type of thing to bother me.
My name is Karlie, I'm a 27 year old post grad student who will be studying law at UTS next year. Looking for somewhere long term to make a home. Interests include reading, cooking, a bit of tv, going to the markets, coffee, the usual stuff. Would love to find a place with friendly girls or guys who want the occasional wine or dinner but also understand privacy
I'm a 19 year old Australian student studying commerce at usyd, I currently live near Cronulla, but looking to move closer to the city as I will start full time work in accounting and finance in the city in February, and the commute is getting a little painful. I'm a relatively quiet, very chilled out, but sociable guy, especially after you get to know me. I like to have a few drinks and go out on weekends, but also I enjoy just chilling at home and watching Netflix and stuff, but I will also spend a fair bit of time studying, due to my full time work and study load.. I like going to the beach, going for the occasional run and being outdoors. I'm also a neat and clean guy! I'm going overseas in January for the month so putting this out in advance in the hope of perhaps having something lined up for when I get back! Feel free to message me!
I am a Mexican-Canadian studying a Master's program at the University in Sydney. Looking to stay with other respectful and clean students or professionals of a similar age. Looking for a private, furnished room close to a train station.
Hi there! I’m Toby, a 20 year old German Backpacker coming to Sydney in early December. I'm looking for accommodation in Sydney while working part time for about 6-8 weeks, before traveling up the eastcoast to Cairns. Laid-back, funny bloke who gets along with everyone. Don’t know anyone in Sydney yet so I’m searching for rather sociable roommates, just like myself. I like listening to all sorts of good music and also like to make music myself (I can teach you guitar). Don’t mind going out and partying even though I’d rather prefer a good conversation. I’ve shared an apartment with others before and loved the experience! Looking for a place in Sydney from early December until mid-January. If you got a place for me send me a message and we’ll go from there! Cheers!
Hey, my name is Peter and I would describe myself as a very career focused person who spends a lot of time on study/work. I think I am pretty social, laid back and will occasionally unwind by binging on netflix :). Enjoy study and just finished a bachelor of IT in July and considering starting masters mid sem 2017, but will see how I feel in 6 months. On 28/11 I flew from QLD to Sydney for a job in the city. Currently staying at an Airbnb property (and breaking the bank lol), so I am seeking a more suitable long term solution to help settle into Sydney and my new job :). Also love to ride motorbikes and was hoping to get my motorbike sent down from Brisbane so... If there is secure parking, a shed or somewhere out of sight to park a motorbike is a bonus!
I'm a 22 year old guy originally from Geelong, VIC, living in Perth, WA, and moving to Sydney in January. I'm fairly athletic and enjoy all sports, I also do stand up comedy and love spending time around comedians, musicians and creatives. I'll be working full time in Rhodes. I'm a clean person and enjoy cooking. More than happy to go out for a few drinks and a night out, but also have no problems living in my own space and doing my own thing.
I enjoy a good chat but sometimes come of as quiet. originally from South Africa but have been in Australia for 10 plus years. I like drawing in my spare time or relaxing and watching a tv show. I like comedies and watch a lot of them. I also like cooking, diving and skiing. I used to be in the Australian Ski and Athletics team. i've travelled to a lot of places. I respect people's personal space but also like to have the occasional drink and have a chat. In urgent need of a place to stay.
I am a 23 year old young professional female, currently working for Nestle in Adelaide as a Territory Field Sales Manager/ Graduate, and will be working in Marketing at head office in Sydney in February 2017. I am looking for a quiet, professional household to live in, close to the office in Rhodes, or alternatively somewhere with easy access to a train station so I can catch it to the Rhodes train station for work. I am looking for clean and tidy house mates, who are respectful of one another. I am a bubbly, easy-going and happy person, and prefer to share a house with like-minded happy people. I am also a fairly quiet person and enjoy my down time, and am capable of paying all bills on time. I am also a non-smoker, and prefer to live in a totally non-smoking household (and no recreational drugs please- I am not looking for a party house). I also love cooking in the kitchen so you can expect to see me in there most nights! I also love watching movies, going to the beach, and don't mind the occasional glass of wine. Pets are okay (but prefer dogs). Please contact me if you are looking for a new housemate and think I might be suitable.
Hey! I'm Jenny and my husband Liam and I are keen for a team up! We are pretty relaxed couple, we love music and hanging out, and adventures to the beach. I work as a manager in retail and Liam is radio news journalist. We have another friend who is going to share with us, so we're looking for a fourth person! I'm starting to look at properties now, so keen to find someone to make our team complete! P.s I'm the blonde one in the picture
I'm an easy going, positive, friendly person and I would love to live with like minded people. I have lots of share house experience and am adaptable, open minded and great at compromise. I like to live in a neat space, and I love to cook. I'm addicted to my glass of wine in the evening and I'm always down for weekend shenanigans. I'm also a musician and would be occasionally playing cello/violin. I'm 25, currently living in Perth and moving to Sydney in January. I'm applying for full time jobs as a high school music teacher in the inner west, and am more than happy to work hospitality to make ends meet until that happens. Getting so excited for the move, to meet new people and to kick start this career!
I'm laid back, socialable, friendly guy who is easy to live with; likes to have a beer and dinner with housemates from time to time but is respectable of space and privacy, clean without being too anal about it, loves music but doesn't need to play any at a level that can be heard from the next suburb, and I'm a great addition to a pub trivia team if needed. I'm working full time in the environmental industry, and I'm keen to move up from Wollongong to be closer to where I work. Most weekends I might duck back to the gong to see friends or family. My interests? travelling, music, markets, craft beer, try to keep pretty fit with swimming, gym and diving, and having a laugh as much as I can...
Having lived in numerous share houses I understand the importance of getting the balance right between giving housemates private time and time to socialise. I always clean up after myself, and I am toilet trained! haha! I work full time hours monday - friday, when I'm not working, im either out playing ice hockey, watching ice hockey, or at a pub with friends. Having said that, I would love to live with someone/group of people who love to socialise.
I'm a pretty chill international student from Singapore doing my Masters degree in the University of Sydney. Would love to find some housemates who share my (sometimes irrationally) intense love for music. I also promise to be a clean and organised roomie. But I won't say no to a good chillout session with good friends and good booze. (; Also, if you love (and have) cats or reptiles, that automatically makes us best friends.
Hi, my name is George and I am a 21-year-old who is moving from Melbourne to Sydney in order to begin working a full-time job in a industry that I love, hospitality. I love to cook good food and drink fantastic wine! Love to entertain, but also have those moments of peace and quiet. Will be moving to Sydney after coming back from a trip to Japan, early march 2017.
hey folks, i'm working part-time at an artisanal food distributor while i study urbanism full-time as a postgrad at sydney uni. when i'm not cooking/eating (which is most of the time), i'm swimming, rowing, at ballet, yoga, or on my bicycle somewhere in between. i come with a piano, an antique cutlery set, and a little kitchen garden in pot plants. i'm not just looking for a house, i'm looking for a home - get in touch if you're looking for the same. ich spreche übrigens deutsch:)
Hi There. I moved here from London back in March. I work in Darlinghurst as a receptionist for a busy GP Practice. I am looking at going back to college to study Special Effects Make up for TV & Film March of next year but will continue to work my current job around that. I love music, film & art and feel that the inner west suits those sort of interests. I am pretty sociable although I don't do much during the week due to work but will have the odd evening out here and there. I enjoy cooking, a chat and a glass of vino in the evenings.
I'm 22yrs old, I work full-time, I'm clean and will respect your privacy. I'm a friendly and social person. I love to travel and enjoy adventure and the outdoors. I also enjoy a weekend outing. I am respectful of other people as I understand it's a share house not my own house. I have been renting for years and looking to ideally move closer to the city. Preferably Inner West or Eastern Suburbs. Not in a rush to move, want to find the right place with the right people first. Available to move from the end of November.

Looking for a place within walking distance of a train station. We will ensure that common areas are kept free of our personal mess and that we do our share of the common chores. That being said we are easy going, we will respect your private space but also are more than happy to get to know you.
Hi I'm Seina, I recently arrived in Sydney and I'm looking for a single room to rent. I'm very tidy and organised and I enjoy going to the beach and shopping. I hope to find some good place to live soon. Thank you
Hi! We're a couple looking for a furnished place to stay for 2-3 months while we settle into Sydney life and work out the next steps. Stuart is a Project Manager from the UK who's moving back to Sydney after spending some time in New Zealand, and I'm a doctor heading back after 3 years away. We enjoy a social drink after work and the odd weekend BBQ but we've left our party years behind us. We cook, clean and understand we all need quiet time. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who might have a home for us! Feel free to ask questions!
