Hi everyone, I'm Elle, 30 female, originally from the Isle of Man. I love Byron, huge soft spot for it so I'm looking to share with happy positive friendly vibes at home longterm. I spend a lot of my time in the hairdressing salon looking after people and creating which I mainly specialise in balayage and colouring which I'm very much passionate about. When I'm not doing that I'm usually chilling home, hiding in nature, beach, ocean, swimming, dinning, fitness, yoga, live music, chilling with music zen. I love animals so I'm happy to have share with animals bonus 😀 Look forward to meeting you
Hi! I’m a 28 year old junior doctor at Lismore Hospital and Luke is a 38 year old engineer who regularly works away at Brisbane. We are moving to the area at the end of 2017 and are really excited about calling this beautiful part of the world home ☺ What we are looking for: We have the luxury of time to find the right people and the right home. We can move to the area anytime between Nov ’17 and Feb ’18. We are both very busy people who work irregular hours including night shift. The most important thing to us is that we come home to a quiet, respectful and clean home. Outside of work we live quiet and peaceful lives – surfing, yoga, gardening, cooking and meditation. We are early to bed and early to rise. We enjoy our down time. While we’ve finished our party days we do love meeting new people and sharing stories. Ideally we would love to meet other full time working couples/individuals who would be interested in pooling our money together to long term rent a really beautiful house with plenty of space for personal privacy around Suffolk Park. If you genuinely think you’d like to house share with us, or already have a room available in a quiet home please get in touch with us and tell us about yourself. We would love to hear from you. We’ve rented the same home for the last seven years and have excellent references. What we are not looking for: Big drinkers, late night socialising, too much TV. We are secretly grandparents already :P $550 is our absolute maximum and would have to really tick all the boxes for us! Otherwise we are ideally looking to pay around the $400 mark. **Thankyou**
I'm a student from the UK studying Public Health whilst exploring Aus! I'm looking to settle in Byron Bay area, as I love the outdoors, cycling, going for a surf, drawing and yoga. I'm looking to share a house with people with similar interests so we can explore together! I'm easy going, tidy and enjoying cooking a lot (Vegan). Feel free to message me if you have a room, or if you'd like to find somewhere together!
I will be working a Christmas job in Byron and am looking for a place to live until mid January, with the potential to stay even longer! I'm flexible on move-in date too! I love all things health and fitness, exploring, the ocean, animals, grooving, live music, anything with a positive feel! I am a vegan so I would prefer to share with vegetarians/vegans. I would also prefer to live with females that are of similar age. And I love animals so I don't mind if we have a furry friend as a roommate! I'm laid back, like a clean home, cook my own food and love to spend a lot of time outside- if you think I'd make a good roommate, message me!
Very mature, self sufficient, handyman and handywoman couple with very well behaved playful yet docile 10yr old Border Collie. A tradesman and a dog trainer professional couple. Very easy going, very personable and easy to get along with. Looking to relocate from Melbourne and give us up to 12 months to feel around before we invest in a house.
Hi I'm India, easygoing and friendly housemate who likes to be social but also respect people's personal space and time. I am relocating to Byron Bay from South Australia, starting work at the beginning of October. Looking for somewhere to live with friendly people. I like to spend my free time adventuring, cooking, surfing, checking out local markets and the occasional cheeky beverage, cheese and wine etc. Looking for a room to live in but also very interested in teaming up with like minded people and making a new sharehouse but I understand the market doesn't have many options for young people. If you find something, please contact me!
Hello :) We are Joanne and Georgia, friends from Canberra and both 24. We are looking for a furnished room each or a room to share. (preferably own room each) Joanne and I seek a tranquil environment to call home from 31st October onwards with either a short term or a periodic lease. We will be Arriving in Byron bay on the 19th of October and free to check out the place along with a meet and greet. We are excited to be moving from canberra to live the coastal lifestyle. Joanne will be studying in the new year as well as working part-time and Georgia will be working full time. Our weekdays/weekends will be spent working, beaching, cooking, baking, yogaing, checking out local markets and what Byron has to offer. We both are massive foodies and love to check out restaurants and appreciate a glass of wine, cocktail or beer. Ill also add we are both respectable and adaptable people that are social and respects our peers and their space. Please don't hesitate to contact us, we are extremely flexible and hoping to move in the 31st October. Thanks, Georgia & Joanne
I'm Alex, a 28 yo doctor looking to team up with a group of likeminded, professionally employed legends in a share house in either Lennox or Suffolk. I've been in the area for 4 years now. There are some stunning larger properties around and I'm interested perhaps pooling our dollars to score an epic pad for the summer and beyond. My budget is up to $350 So the serious bits first- I work variable and long hours with lots of on- call so need to live with people who are respectful of my need to rest between times ! (ie, I need a peaceful home to come back to, not a party shack). I think it'd work best to live with people in the same boat (full time workers, aged late 20s-30s ) who work hard during the week and know how to relax at its end :) Otherwise, I (try) to live an active and healthy lifestyle with abundant market trips, beach days, coffee sampling and cooking afternoons. Sometime that plan goes out the window and I survive on frozen dinners, wine and The Bachelor. Would be awesome to find people who would be keen for a few runs, a serious game of three-hundred, a philosophical debate or 2 or some weekend adventures. I've got no strict moving dates and am happy to wait until the right people/place presents itself. If this sounds like you, shoot me a message and we can chat :) Alex
27 y/o just made the move up from SA. Background as a counsellor and yoga teacher. Loves to cook, its my art! Big on healthy living and well being, maintains a balanced lifestyle. Actively pursues the great outdoors. Hobbies range from water to air sports, hiking & camping. Values downtime to get into a good book or two, zen game strong. Currently studying philosophy and loves a good banter. Adores animals and generally just loves life.
I'm hoping to make the move from Canberra to Byron Bay as soon as possible. Byron's a Place I come to visit a few times a year and I'd love to make it my home. Looking to move into a share house with likeminded people around a similar age. I'm 23, have been studying Holistic Nutrition for a couple of years and want to develop my careers path in that industry. I loveee going to live gigs and music festival and don't mind a few social drinks on the weekends. I'm totally easy going, friendly and social. I've lived in many share houses so I know the deal. Happy to answer any questions you may have :) Thanks.
Britt and I are looking for 2 rooms in a share house or a team up to move in ASAP. We both work full time so will not have trouble paying rent. We are clean, considerate and friendly. We like to get out and about on weekends and don't mind a cheeky drink on the weekends.
Hi I'm a french chef who's been living in Australia for the past 6 years and I'm really easygoing. I move to Byron a little bit more than a year ago when I've got my restaurant. I mostly spent time at work. I like big walk with my dog, chilling out with friends, movies, and cool tunes.
Easy going, self sufficient, friendly and tidy, that's the dog, Salty. The human is OK too. I am interested in places in the general region, having moved to the area from far South Coast NSW. I am currently living in Sunrise, Byron Bay short term and I am intending to rent for a year or so while I get to know the region and choose a home to buy. We prefer to be close to a dog beach or in the forest but are also happy in town with a private leafy outlook and access to good dog walking spaces. I am active and creative and busy keeping up with the demands of a multi-faceted career. I work from home making natural dyes and doing botanical printing, I also work in adult education and professional and technical writing. I like cooking and baking, gardening and growing food. I am fortunate to love my work. I sometimes travel for work but mostly work from home or nearby workshop. A shed, roof, garage area or warehouse space I can use for workshop would be fantastic, especially if I could live in it! I'm good to live with because I am respectful of the space/time/social needs of others. I ask, listen and am able to express my own needs and perspective. I do not like drama. I make sure Salty is happy and other members of the household are comfortable with him and understand his cues and commands. Salty is pretty friendly, a desexed red Smithfield, he likes most humans and other animals, he walks away from drama with other dogs rather than be involved in aggression. I live a mostly healthy lifestyle, lots of dog walking and swimming - not much party these days! I still love music and dance. I drink alcohol now and then and I do smoke occasionally. I always make sure no one is offended or adversely affected by my smoking.
I'm looking for long-term accommodation (at least 6 months) for myself and my two sweethearts (a cavoodle and a cavilier King Charles). We have recently moved to the Byron shire and looking for a comfortable, safe space to call home. Happy to share with 1 or 2 others. A bit about me - I'm 31yrs, I work as a psychologist and I'm also a yoga teacher. I'm in love with pretty much everything this region has to offer, so I am open to home's in the hills or near the beach. Keeping all my fingers and toes crossed! And just send me a message if you have any thank you 🙏
Hey guys! We are Cam and Kelsey, full time travel bloggers from The US. We currently are based in Bali, but will be coming to Aus September 19. Super stoked about the move, but also a little nervous considering we've never been there... We are stopping off in Sydney for about a week to visit some friends, but plan to make our way to Byron afterwards. We are looking to live in or near the Byron area because it seems best for our work. I put that we prefer 3 month stay, but more than likely we will need a place for about a year. We are super laid back and love a chat over a good beer or glass of wine. We are also super clean, so that is a must when looking for a roomie... We really want to make friendships out of this and not just have someone to awkwardly share a place with, because we are super social people. Oh and I should mention that we do a lot of filming, which means we will be filming inside the home (not weird stuff, just youtube and instagram stories lol) You absolutely do not need to be on film, I just figured I would put it our there so you guys know. Anyway, if we sound like people you would be interested in living with please send us a message! Thanks, Kels
About me, I'm a 20 year old gal with a love for the ocean, music, outdoors and anything that makes my hands dirty (paints, charcoal, gardening etc). Preferably, I'd like to share with people of similar age with similar ideals and enjoy a night of jamming and drinking wine. I enjoy a good night out with friends but you'll mostly find me curled up with a tea, watching a doco or reading a book. If you think you'd like to house share with me please feel free to message me :)
Hi I'm Alice! I am currently studying Food and Agribusiness full time, and have been lucky enough to get a 3 month internship in Byron! Perfect location as I love to surf and the outdoors :) So I am looking for a friendly and relaxed place to call home for those 3 months. I am clean, sociable, easy going and an enthusiastically mediocre cook
I'm 25 years old student and hard working I will arrive in Byron Bay on August 6th. I will be studying Sustainable Operations from August 11th until March 2019, I'm very easygoing clean and not a party guy at all ! Love to enjoy nature go camping and surf.
I'm an outgoing, friendly Spanish girl moving to Australia by the end of August. I really like sharing time with other people, but also enjoy having time for myself. I'm really clean and tidy, and respectful of everyone's space, and would love to live with social people that respect my space too. I like practising outdoor sports, music and cooking (I'm a foodie too!), and I'm super easy going and open minded. Let me know if you're interested in having me as your flatmate!
