Hey guys! My partner, dog and I are planning to move out and we would love someone to move in with us. About us: G'day, my name is Penny Higginbotham, I am a 23 year old female and am studying a bachelor of international tourism and hotel management. I play a lot of volleyball (indoor and beach) and I also reff and coach indoor volleyball. I also work part time as a kids swimming instructor. I have a beautiful 3 year old malamute cross german shepard called Mishka, she is absolutely amazing and she was originally acquired as an emotional support animal. I am in a long term relationship with Lachlan who is a 19 year old male. Lachlan is currently undertaking math components at university in order to study an engineering course. Lachy is currently seeking employment, he loves a good gaming session and he may be 19 but he has a soul of a 60 year old. We promise to never make you feel like a third wheel, we behave a lot more like mates than a couple. We are currently looking at places in the suburbs listed. Some of our prerequisits are: House related: Must be less than 20 minute drive to Griffith's Nathan campus Must have 3 bedrooms (of course) Must have 2 bathrooms (can be 1 bathroom + ensuite) Penny requires the master bedroom in order to fit her king size bed and Mishka Must be fully fenced People related: We're not able to live with anyone who smokes (cigarettes and other) We're not able to live with anyone who partakes in any other form of drugs Must be ok with Penny not wearing pants around the house (I promise to always wear undies though) Some of our preferences are: Built in wardrobes in rooms Males to move in with us (it's fine if you're a female, as long as you're ok with me not wearing pants 95% of the time - I always wear briefs though!) No other pets (Mishka does get along with other animals but it is preferable that she is the only animal) Basically we want to live in a house that isn't gross, that's fair right? I've got a number of house inspections booked during this week, if you are interested, please message me and you're more than welcome to come along. Also message me if you would like to meet either myself or myself and lachlan or even myself, lachlan and mishka. Looking forward to hearing from you! Penny
I am a very clean and tidy person, Vietnamese born in Australia, I work full time Mon-Sat 10 hours a day except for my one rostered day off a week, I look after myself cooking and cleaning after myself. But I'm happy to share work load, which is what i do with my current roommates. I don't do much at night since I get home so late I only have a few hours before I need to go to bed, I am into my cars, and occasionally do a little work on them, but I'm very respectful of others curfews and privacy. I currently don't have my pup with me, he is still only a few weeks old and still needs to be with his mum, I have trained dogs before, eventually becoming toilet trained, not allowed on furniture and certain rooms and walking without a leash.
I'm a communications professional currently working in the city, looking for a self-contained place for myself and my mature and very timid cat, so a pet friendly granny flat or studio with a sunny windowsill would be perfect. I'm currently in the process of selling my 3 bedroom house in Sunnybank Hills, and hoping to rent for a year or two while I focus on career. The house is expected to sell very quickly, however I will keep any prospective landlord in the loop. I have lived happily on my own for the last several years, and rarely have friends over, preferring instead to go out, as I do love my privacy. Having said that, I highly value good neighbours. I adore gardening, and will find this the biggest challenge as I downsize (happy to help out with yours or point me towards a community garden). I have been a landlord on flatmates.com and been contacted by many people with no profile details, references, or comprehensive explanation of what they are looking for or why my property suits them - so I invite you to ask me as much as you need to know to ensure we are going to be a good fit. My cat comes with vet reports (medical and behavioural) and I can organise references from pet sitters and catteries. As I have been a homeowner for the last 10 years please let me know what kind of references you expect from me.

A bit about us, we are a quiet couple, aged 25 & 26, we are non smokers, rarely drink an occasional one here and there. Both working and I also study, we are also volunteers for Lions Clubs International. No children, and we own 2 cats - 1 year old both males and both desexed. We are moving to Brisbane because my husband wants to be closer to his family. We are currently finding it hard to find a place ideally we would like to stay on the South side close to Algester area (because of family) however we are just needing a place for when my Husband and cats come down. So anywhere on the South side would be fine :)

My name is Elka and I'm 20 years old. I'm currently a casual employee for the Australian Taxation Office, however I work guaranteed full-time/part-time hours. I am a creative, I make art, play music and sing. I write, too. I enjoy a glass of wine or a beer pretty much every evening, love being out and about, love making nice breakfasts at home and I also like to keep fit and active. I love talking to and getting to know people, roadtrips, going to little gigs and I don't mind a house party here and there but am definitely not a clubber. I start uni in February 2017 as well so I really will barely be home. I'm single but looking so might have a few dates over but I definitely maintain and respect privacy. Would love to find some housemates to have a drink with, actually be friends with, go on random drives with - just nice people who can actually contribute to a good lifestyle! I am looking for a reasonably sized bedroom with AIR-CONDITIONING and the rent MUST be bills included (as I can't handle unforeseeable costs.) A pool would be a plus! Curse these Australian summers.

Hi there, We are a couple 30 & 31 looking for a place to call home for the next 6 - 12mths. We work hard during the week so on the weekends we catch up on sleep, visit family and friends. Looking for somewhere that has enough space so we can have our own space however we are social as well and like catching up on chats. We have a ute, however I work in the city so close by public transport will be great.
Hello! I am Lucy, 20 yrs old, and am looking for a place to stay! I have currently got a full time job working in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary nurse. I am looking for a place to stay on the south side of the Brisbane River. I am looking for a place to stay in which I can house a dog as well. I am an organised person, who is always up for a chat but also love some peace and quiet from time to time. I have just graduated from my degree and am now looking into setting myself up whilst I build up some money to get a place of my own.
I want to try out working in Brisbane. Looking forward to a new challenge have been in Sydney for some years. Originally from Malaysia and I need to get started in Brisbane as I plan to be there for some years. Enjoy music, playing the guitar, swimming, tennis. Also I love travel. Do expect the place to be kept clean and in order at all times, so living among people can be fun and bearable.
We're a group of friends looking for somewhere new to settle with our cat, guinea-pig and fish. We love movies, gardening, card-games, pogo, being social etc etc. We take care of our pets so no worries about those. Guinea-pig stays outside, our cat Maru is mostly outside cat but comes home for pats, the fish dont really do much, they're fish. We're just looking for somewhere to live a chill life. Mariah works casually as a gelato-maker, Jason studies ecology and I (Susan) works full time as a graphic designer.
I'm a Singaporean currently finishing off my studies at QUT and hoping to start working full time next year. I love cooking and baking so if you stay with me, you'll get to try my creations! :D Personality-wise, I'm very easy-going and friendly. I like to chat (but I won't bother you if you're busy). Also, I don't smoke or drink and I try my best to be quiet and considerate. My hobbies include watching American/British dramas, playing video games and drawing digital art. I love cats and dogs so if you have a pet, I would be totally cool with that!
I keep to myself but happy to live in a more social home. I clean up my messes, can handle my own laundry and so forth. I'm useless with cooking though so a microwave is a must, haha! I work nightshifts and that includes weekends, so I'm not bringing home parties every weekend. As I am a smoker, don't fret, I already smoke outside not within the home :) I have a car, it's not obnoxious but I do come home generally around 1am so if you're a light sleeper living together might not be ideal as I'm more active/awake until the early hours most often and sleep during the day. I'm not after a furnished room as I have my own furniture :) if the room has a ceiling fan even better! Haha. Unfortunately at this time I can't really stretch past $150 per week unless it includes bills and internet ($165 max)
I am moving to Brisbane at the end of the year and looking for a team- up, room/ house/flat to rent. I have 160 rent week but willing to pay extra for the right room. Looking for either guys or girls between the ages of 25-35. I am fairly quiet (until you get to know me), easygoing, like alone time and also up for a chat and a social drink. I have shared houses with people before and still remain very good friends with them. I am respectful of other people's things and I would like the same. I don't drink much or go out much, just out here and there for outings etc. with friends for coffee, brekky dates, dinner and others. I'm also keen on a backyard barbie and a few drinks with some music. I am clean but not a clean freak but like it if we help each other out and I am understanding if you need a break. I'd like a place to call home and feel comfortable living. I work in education and I won't be working over the Christmas holidays and am applying for jobs however I will have an income over the holidays. I also am into fitness and looking for someone to either workout too or show me some areas. I am happy to help out around the house and buy my own food and so forth. I will have my own bed.
21, just looking at moving to Brisbane, hairdresser. I am respectful and tidy, like to have fun on the weekends
Clean, Pay bills on time, Quiet, Easygoing. My downfall is I have heaps of stuff... needs to be unfurnished and I need an entire garage space not for a car for my stuff lol
Looking for all-female house/flat close to good public transport, quiet and safe area and house, considerate and responsible housemates who are friendly but give personal space, and no cats or dogs. Fish and chickens are okay! Prefer similar age-range/ 26-45. I've received a lot of messages that don't actually fit any of that, so please respond only if you/your place actually meet these things - not guys, sorry, and please within this price range! I'm responsible, mature, clean, considerate, and friendly, and want housemates who also have these habits. Outside space for gardening is great, but not essential, and somewhere to store my things - about 1.5 cubed metres (garage space, under-the-house, shed, or part of a spare room). I'm potentially interested in other areas besides these - further east or north.
Hey im looking for a furnished room to live in for 2 weeks while i look for a home i am willing to pay cash on the spot only will be staying there for 2 weeks, i wont be in the home during the day leave in the morning come back in the afternoon
I'm open minded, clean, friendly, and social. I cook the best grilled meat ever and I love camping, clubbing, and snorkeling. I always try to eat as healthy as possible and I exercise regularly.
I'm quiet, responsible and keep to myself. I do enjoy a drink or a night out occasionally but most of the time I love my private space. However I'd love to help out with anything if you need.
* NOTE - would like to find a place within a few days :) Hey everyone, My name is Sarah and I'm a 25 year old female. Currently looking for an ensuite room around the $190-$200 mark and because I work in the city, I would prefer to live in or close to the city. A bit about me, I work 5 days a week at Treasury Casino and when I'm not working, I am out and about doing my thing so you will hardly see me. I am obsessively clean, pay my bills on time, friendly and considerate of you and your privacy. If anyone has anything suitable, please let me know :)
Hi, I'm 24 years old girl from Europe who is coming to Australia to practice English. I am looking for a furnished room. I respect house rules and pay rent on time. My hobbies include games, movie, cooking and rock climbing. I enjoy writing and am working on my first novel. I'm a cat enthusiast, so if you have any I will love them as my own.
I am a student looking to study forensic science at Griffith University in 2017. My boyfriend is a full time worker at Bunnings and we have been together for over a year. Jason - my boyfriend - is originally from South Africa, but has lived in Australia from a young age, while I have lived in Townsville all my life. I love to sing and regularly participate in singing lessons, while my boyfriend loves cars and wishes to one day be a mechanic. We are both mature, quiet people, who love nights in. We appreciate personal space, and are respectful of others, but we love a friendly conversation. I am crazy about cleaning, and love to cook every now and again, so we are looking for people who share similar values and standards.
Working casual 5-6 days a week. Clean, tidy, independant, honest, respectful, easy going, easy to get along with.
Caleb here, Im starting an Electrical Apprenticeship and need to relocate from Perth to Brisbane for 4 months for training. So during the week I'll be mainly occupied by study and going to the gym. On the weekends I'll be out exploring to see what Brisbane has to offer, whether it be the nightlife or the beaches etc... In Perth, I currently share an apartment with 1 other person and don't mind cooking and cleaning for the both of us. Very low maintenance and considerate towards my flatmates.
Currently working full time in the Brisbane city as a graduate accountant. Seeking to find a room/team up with someone to get an apartment near the city or I also don't mind living on the south side (Sunnybank/Garden city area). I am generally out of the house throughout the week, but if I am at home I would be playing PS4, cooking or chilling with friends. Other preferences: Car space, nearby gym Also I am flexible on move dates
I am very easy-going and easy to get along with. I'm a slightly introverted person but am always up for a chat. More than anything, I love to read, so if you don't mind books strewn all over the house and can handle my tiny (read: very big) fangirl moments, then we'll get along just fine. I am studying at QUT so during semesters I may be slightly less sociable than usual but that's just because I've left all my assignments to the last minute :) Mostly, I'm just looking for a safe, fun sharehouse atmosphere with awesome people who won't get too upset if I'd rather spend the day in my room rather than socialising.
I am from Vietnam. I am tidy and a non-smoker. I will graduate from Griffith University this December (majoring in Information Systems) and am looking for jobs in Brisbane. I don't have a car so parking is not a priority. I am looking forward to sharing new experience with different people.
So over the commute, from Redcliffe to Larapinta for work. Looking for somewhere to live. I am easy going, and very respectful of other people's privacy and homes.
Hell my name is Russell Moore and im looking to live in Brisbane, or the greater region, I'm 20yrs old, i work part time as a turf layer and casual as casual as a food handler. I enjoy fitness, sport, gaming, making meals, and my coffee is a good reason to wake up, at anytime of the morning, im reliable, I've lived in sharehouses before, so i know all the rules and responsiblities i need to take into account, and im very clean and tidy, and hope i can make someone's living space that much better, im very easy going, but not lazy and don't cause much drama, i cook and buy my own food, and pay rent on time and clean up after myself and do household chores that need doing, anyway i look forward to meeting you soon thanks for reading. Russell.
My friends say I'm kind, naturally gorgeous, a good sense of humour, generous, energetic, hard-working and the most important thing is without a boyfriend.
